Kai: You're such a child

Kara: Where's your point?

Tala: Give it up, Kai, we can't win against them.

Kai: *Glares at Kady and Kara and stalks off*

Kady: That was too easy…

Kara: I think we broke him ^^;

Kady: Oh well, time to get to work ^-^

Selein walked down the Icy tunnel, stopping and turned to her assigned team.

 

“Don't fall behind we're almost there.” She said as cold as the ice around her and continued walking.

 

“Well sorry!” Johnny said sarcastically as he, Max and Terra trailed behind Selein and Kai.

 

“Alpha I can understand why you sent Spit fire and Hiwatari, but can you tell me again why I needed to bring McGregor and Tate with me.” Selein said with an annoyed tone in to the headset.

 

“Cool it black wing, you're going to need McGregor to aid Spit Fire and Tate to cover your tracks when you're done.” Naomi replied.

 

“So Selein what is this place?” Max asked innocently.

 

“An accidental tunnel. It leads from the Abby to 300 yards underground towards Moscow. It started out as a pit to put misbehaved children in.” she replied.

 

“Umm… so how did it become a tunnel?” Max asked nervously.

 

“Selein and I were bored and the guard had forgotten to confiscate our beyblades when we were thrown down the pit. Let's just say fire and chaos energy are destructive when put together.” Kai replied with a smirk.

 

Terra scowled, “Trust me, it was funny, watching the moron go haywire as they vanished,” she sniggered.

 

Johnny blinked; picturing the scene in his head then rolled his eyes. Terra had an odd sense of humor, why did he have to fall for her?

 

 

-At base-

 

“T-Tala….” Kara sobbed, her face buried in her pillow.

 

“Hey, it'll be fine, I promise,” someone smiled, stroking her back softly.

 

“Who's there?” she shivered, a chill going up her spine.

 

“Me….” Tala's hand strayed to her hair. “Hey…” he mumbled.

 

“Tala…” Kara let out a soft gasp, lifting her head up slowly.

 

“Yeah…Kara, I'm sorry. I want you to know...tha- -“

 

 

-Control Room-

 

“Someone's made it through the security system!” Ozuma shouted as the alarm breached.

 

“What?” Robert's head shot up, frowning. “Who is it?”

 

“Ivanhov….” Lynn hissed.

 

Naomi growled, “Where's he headed?”

 

“Apparently, he's in Himura's room…”

 

“Why there?” Naomi snapped.

 

“We don't know…Ozuma, go check it out!” Lynn ordered.

 

 

-Kara's Room-

 

The Saint Shield nodded and dashed off, out the door, through the right hall, took a left and towards a door with a golden plaque that said `Frostbite'. “Kara?”

 

Tala looked up, then out the window, “I have to leave, good bye,” he mumbled then fled just as Ozuma opened the door.

 

“Where is he?” Ozuma demanded.

 

“Where's who?” Kara sniffed, acting innocent was what she was best at.

 

“Ivanhov…he was here…”

 

“No…I wish he was though…” Kara mumbled, looking away.

 

“H-hey, I'm sorry, really,” he bit his lower lip nervously.

 

Kara looked up at him and flung herself onto him, crying.

 

“It'll be all right, I suppose,” Ozuma replied, frozen, when it came to comforting girls or die, the S.S. leader decided that he'd rather die. “Well, bye,” he stood up and left her room, closing it behind him.

 

Did he mean he cared? Kara thought, staring at her door.

 

-Control Room-

 

“Did you get him?” Naomi asked.

 

Ozuma just shook his head and sat down at his station once more.

 

Lynn scowled and mumbled something before going back to monitoring the security cameras.

 

“Lynn in form Selein that Kara is with us.” Naomi said as she left the room

 

 

-Back to the Cave-

 

“Damn it! When did they install these stupid launchers?” Terra hissed, jumping back. “Let's go Salamandra!” she shouted, calling upon her fire dragon of DOOM (Kara|| Umm...I HAD TO DO THAT! ^^;). “Wild Fire!”

 

A giant winged dragon appeared from the bit chip. Slit golden eyes gleamed from behind the fiery mask of the dragon. Her scales were a shining crimson red, plated with golden armor. Its wings were leathery, like a bat's, yet much larger. Salamandra let out a loud roar and turned into a fiery shape, shooting straight at the launchers, destroying them completely.

 

“Good shot, Terra!” Max said enthusiastically as the blade flew back into the girl's hand.

 

Selein smirked, “Well, we can't doubt a power based blader,” she scoffed. Kai nodded in slight agreement and continued on.

 

Johnny grinned, reminding himself, `That's why I like her, brute force,' he told himself.

 

“Selein we have Kara. All of you can turn back.” Lynn's voice came from a small walky-talky on Selein's pants

 

“Thanks for the heads up” Selein replied into the walky-talky as the neared the end of the tunnel.

 

“What!!! You mean we came all this way for NOTHING!!!” yelled Johnny.

 

“Your not coming back are you…” Lynn asked dully.

 

“Nope. I still have work to do, don't worry I'll send the others back.” Selein replied as they walked into a small dome area with a hole in the roof.

 

“Your not going in alone are you?” Max asked in concern.

 

“I need to do some things and it will be hard for me to do them quietly with group. So I need to go alone.” She stated gently to the blond.

 

“Over my dead body.” Every one turned and looked at Kai.

 

“If you go alone and we lose contact, there's no way to tell what happen to you.” Kai stated calmly.

 

“Well… he's” “If you finish that sentence Terra, you'll join Lynn in her intensive.” Selein said colder than the ice around her.

 

“Yes ma'am!”

 

“Dam…”

 

She turned to Kai. “You're on your own dealing with your sister Hiwatari.”

 

“Did she actually say yes?” Johnny asked in shock

 

“She did…” Terra in equal shock.

 

“Is that normal?” max asked curiously.

 

“No…” both replied.

 

Selein walked to the center of the room to examine a hole in the center of the roof with a electronic latter 15 feet above her that was attached the side of the cylinder wall furthest from the ground entrance.

 

“Terra we're going to need a boost…” she stated in annoyed tone.

 

Terra walked over to where the later was and stood a few feet away from it.

 

“Ready when you are, black wing.” She yelled as knitted her hands together and took a more balanced stance. Selein walked to the edge of the cavern then turned and confirmed that she was ready. She went into a flat out run towards Terra and upon reaching her, she steeped on to Terra's hands and jumped with Terra's added strength. She managed to grab the first bar of the latter with out much trouble. She flipped her self upside down and hooked her legs around the latter's bars so she didn't fall.

 

“Your turn Hiwatari.” She called.

 

“Hn” was the only reply he gave as walked to the entrance where selein had stood moments before and charged at Terra. He successfully completed the jump and grabbing Selein's hand. After he got a hold of the latter, they both started to clime.

 

“Let's go guys.” Said Terra and they turned and walked out of the cavern.

 

 

-Abbey-

 

“Ivanhov! Where were you!?” Boris demanded, the moment Tala walked out from his room.

 

The red head rose an eyebrow, “I was in my room,” he lied. Shooting a glare at him. He brushed past the angered man like he was nothing. He was nothing to him. Why did Ozuma have to walk in at that moment anyways? Tala was angered, not with Ozuma, nor Boris, and definitely not Kara. What he was mad at, he was the stupid security in the Demolition Angel's base. Why did it have to be so damn tight?

 

“Hey, Tala, you should pay closer attention,” Spencer's voice snapped his thoughts. Tala blinked, looking at the ground, he noticed Wolfborg, knocked out for about the 11th time already.

 

“Whatever,” he muttered, picking his blade up and launching it once again as Spencer launched his.

 

“Novae Rog!” Tala ordered, executing his attack.

 

-Base-

 

“Hey, Kara…wanna train?” Lynn smiled, walking into the ice wielder's room.

 

The girl looked up with sad eyes and gave a weak smile, then nodded, standing up. She stumbled towards Lynn, following the neko out the door.

 

-Training Room-

 

“Chimerex!” Lynn shouted, launching her blade.

 

“Tundra Wolf!” Kara launched her own blade.

 

The two blades clashed against each other and began a barrage of physical attacks.

 

“All right, let's take `em down! Frozen Lance!” Kara yelled. An icy, transparent circle appeared in front of the silvery white wolf. The bitbeast howled and charged through the circle, knocking Lynn's beast back. Chimerex roared and charged, jumping up and pinning the wolf to the ground.

 

“Finish it off! Judgment Indignation!” Lynn commanded. Striking its paw into the wolf, a large explosion sounded and Kara's blade was sent flying out the dish with the thunder cat victorious. Chimerex's golden eyes gleamed and the large cat like creature sat, grooming itself. A set of feathery white wings burst from its snow, tiger like form. Her 5 large, fluffy fox like tails swishing carelessly as the Chimera's giant paws sparked with blue electricity.

 

“Nicely done, Lynn,” Naomi congratulated. She signaled to Tyson who blinked and nodded, stepping up to the dish, facing Lynn. “Shidoroshi, Kon, get going,” she added, motioning to Rei and Shidoroshi to battle.

 

“All right, 3…2…1!” Lynn launched her blade as Tyson launched Dragoon.

 

“Dragoon!” Tyson called out the serpent like dragon.

 

“All right, we'll play it your way, let's go Chimerex!” she shouted, summoning the chimera once again.

 

 

As Lynn and Tyson's battle raged, Shidoroshi carried out the battle with Rei as Naomi had begun a battle with Ozuma, just for the heck of it.

 

 

“Driger hang in there!” Rei yelled when his blade nearly flew out of the stadium.

 

“I have to say Rei, your a lot better than I gave you credit for, but you won't win.” Shidoroshi commented as Hirobe continued its attack on driger.

 

“Thanks. But that won't stop me from trying.” rei said with a grin and Shidoroshi chuckled as driger tried to counter the attack.

 

“Good! I would get board if you didn't.”

 

“Driger!! Tiger Claw!” Rei yelled and the white tiger charged forward.

 

“Hirobe play time, Holy mirror!!!” Shidoroshi yelled and a white dove with blue eyes, gold armor on the head and chest gold beak and gold tipped wings emerged and mimicked the white tiger and sent it flying out of the ring into a wall.

 

“Eh, eh… opps…”

 

“Wow…”

 

“Your going to fix that wall Awai or else!!”

 

“Shit…”

 

“Flash Leopard!” he shouted, calling out the flaming black cat.

 

“Mhhmm…Kitann,” Naomi called out, a dark haze filled their dish and a set of red eyes gleamed from the darkness. The Leopard snarled, looking around in confusion. A sudden sound of claws sounded and a yowl of pain came from the wounded cat.

 

“Damn it, what the hell was that?” Ozuma hissed.

 

“Go on, finish it,” Naomi mumbled, a bright heavily designed circle shined in the air, above Flash Leopard. The teen began mumbling a short chant. “I call upon the world of the undead, unleash thy furious rage; Dark Abyss!”

 

Something shot out of the haze and onto the circle. A jet-black fox shot through the circle as the haze wrapped around Flash Leopard, striking it dead center. A flash was seen and it was as if a smoke ball had been thrown. As the smog cleared, a giant black fox with 3 tails stood victorious, fangs bore, red eyes gleaming in triumph, a second later, it slowly faded into haze, returning to the bit chip.

 

“Wh-what was that?” Ozuma asked, a little shook.

 

“That, was my bit beast,” Naomi smirked.

 

“Is it a sacred bit beast?” Tyson asked a bit disgruntled as Dragoon was sent flying.

 

“Hmph, you underestimate me, Granger,” Naomi hissed, and then vanished suddenly. Ozuma and Tyson just stared, expressions much like: Oo

 

“Get over it,” Mariam cackled, looking towards Kara, “Wanna go for something to eat?” she asked kindly. Kara blinked, looking up and nodded, standing up and walking out with the blue haired Saint Shield.

 

Lynn watched the two walk off then yawned, “Well, I need a nap,” she said, letting out a soft purr. Rei stared at the female neko and shook his head, clearing the image of her as she walked out the door.

 

“Dreaming of kittens?” Joseph sniggered, watching Rei stare.

 

“Shut up,” he grumbled, standing up, and walking out the door himself.

 

“Don't follow me, please,” Lynn turned around, facing Rei. The boy looked surprised, stepping back.

 

“I was just gonna congratulate on how good you play,” he lied quickly.

 

“Seriously, Rei, what do you want?” Lynn was closer. She looked up, being slightly shorter than the other cat-human.

 

Rei blushed furiously, “N-nothing! H-how's your arm?” he asked, trying to change the subject as she approached him again.

 

“Thanks, you're sweet,” she purred.

 

Suddenly, Rei struck dumb, Lynn smirked and walked away.

Kara: Anyways, From this day forth, I shall be known as the oh so ebil dragon authoress!

Lynn: Dude, how `bout just Kin….

Kara: -blinks- That works! -Light flashes-

Kin: I like my new name =P -huggles Kady-

Kady: Did I mention your crazy? O.o

Kin: Yesh!

Tala: -sniggers-

Kin: -snaps fingers- Let's see how much you laugh at this! Brooklyn!

Kara: -perks- Woof! -glomps Brooklyn-

Tala: -glares- Die…
