RM- yola yawl. I see I've confused a few of you already… I think that's' a good thing… But just in case it isn't this chapter should explain a lot.
Litana- ya see… In this story, no one is a human… with the exception of the people who don't matter and end up getting killed anyway… yeah…
RM- and also Renee and Alli are sisters… or at least they were. You'll get it eventually.
The dark room was barely lit by the scattered candles about the room. Renee could barely make out the few figures in the room. It was so dark she didn't even realize until she was shoved further into the room that she was standing in the center of a circular table. It was like a meeting was going on in the room… or something.
“Tala.” She was shoved further. Turning she glared at Kai then instantly stopped when she noticed he was glowing ever so slightly. “I hope you don't mind her condition.” He said paying no heed to Renee's death threat of a glare.
“What happened?” the man closest to the door said. Stepping forwards into the light his pearly white over sized canines flashed.
“She had a run in with one of the Dark Lord's minions.” Bruno said stepping into the room.
“And she lived?” Another man questioned his eyes seemed to glow as Renee peered over to him. “I didn't think a human could…”
“Not that kind of run in.” Bruno quickly corrected him. “She can't fight worth a damn.” Renee silently rolled her eyes. Stupid people didn't know she could kick box.
“Really? She looks like she tried.” Another man said as he stood up from his seat. Renee looked over to him curiously instantly intrigued with his glowing red eyes. The faint glow that he gave off sent shivers down her spine. Slowly he made his way around the table never taking his shining red eyes from her.
“Human no?” He asked as his gaze drifted over her body. Bruno nodded.
“Yes. She's from the American Coast.” Bruno stepped back a few paces to allow the man to pass.
“Tough little thing she must be.” He said in a deep voice, Renee blinked a few times as she started to feel a little lightheaded. Suddenly a hand gripped her shoulder making her jump.
“Now Bryan. You already got your present. This one's mine.” Renee stood there a little to scare to turn and look at the man behind her. There was a small tug on her collar then it suddenly felt much lighter as the chain fell to the floor. “Besides, you like children more.” Bryan stopped in his tracks and looked at the man behind Renee for a second before he caught on to what he was saying. Silently he left the room and headed down the hall. Once the soft sounds of Bryan's footsteps disappeared all eyes in the room turned to the man behind Renee.
“I'm glad you like her.” Kai said with a blank expression.
“That I do but I do believe she needs to go to the healer first…” A warm hand slid around Renee's waist. Running his hand over Renee's broken ribs he pressed lightly aginst them. Renee winced and leaned into him trying to make him stop. He chuckled.
“Delicate this human. Perfect…” he said in a deep and alluring tone. Renee tensed in his arms trying to act nervous when in reality she wanted so badly to punch his lights out. He chuckled.
“Now that she's here I'll be taking my leave.” Renee sighed as he removed his hand from her ribs. Gently he urged her forward. Taking a few steps towards the door his hand appeared on her shoulder leading her on. Slowly they walked out of the room and down the hall. The closed corridors made it easy for her to here the light tapping of his foot falls on the cold stone that had long ago numbed her feet.
This man… Something about him pricked at her curiosity. She hadn't yet seen his face in the long moment he had been around her. Every now and then she would try to look back but the collar wouldn't allow her the free movement.
After an agonizingly long walk, they arrived at another steel door. This particular door had a very… cold presence. His hand reached around her and opened the door with a simple touch. His hands looked like those of a… construction worker? Her Ex boyfriend had similar looking hand but his weren't covered in dirt like her Ex's were. Before she could think about it any further his hand disappeared out of her line of sight. He gently pushed her into the pitch-black room and closed the door behind them.
“I'm sorry for the brutal treatment they gave you earlier.” He said spinning her around. Renee stood there staring at the darkness. “What's wrong?”
“I'm sorry but I can't see a thing…” Renee said with a sheepish smile.
“Why on- Oh right. You're a human.” He sighed then a light flickered on in the corner. A candle to be exact.
`Human my ass' Renee thought with a sneer. It was so obvious that no on knew she wasn't human. Then again she her self for got sometimes.
“Thanks.” She replied looking up at him. “Holy Mother-“ Renee caught her self off as she stared at him in utter shock. He was beautiful! Well hansom if ya wanna get technical. His hair was crimson red like blood and his eyes… as blue as arctic ice. His face was just like a work of art! Defiantly not one made by Picasso! Renee was so entranced by his shining eyes that she didn't notice much else. She didn't notice him touch her bruising cheek or run his thumb over her bottom lip. However, she did notice him run the light touch of his finger over her broken ribs.
“Ow.” She said sharply pulling away. He chuckled and grabbed her hand gently. Renee winced as the cuff cut further into her wrist. Pulling a single key from his pocket, he slipped it into the keyhole of the cuffs. With a flick of his wrist, she was released from her painful binds. Renee opened her mouth to say a word of thanks but was stopped what he put a finger to her lips. She stared at his finger cross-eyed until he tipped her head back.
“No wonder…” His voice trailed off as he touched her collar. Renee stared at the peach colored ceiling wondering what he was doing. She could feel his hands running across her skin like he was examining her.
“Wha-What are you doing?” Renee asked quietly as his hand touched her bikini strap.
“Checking your injury's.” He answered in a monotone voice. Renee shuddered as his hot hands ran over her frozen skin. Down her back and over her stomach he made sure to miss no part of her body. After a long moment his hands finally stopped on her collar again. “This isn't one of…” His voice trailed off as he closed his eyes. The heavy piece of metal started to feel extremely cold aginst Renee's bare neck.
“This may hurt.” He warned her as the cold steel started to feel like it was burning. She winced as the pain started to make her head hurt. She lifted her hands to her neck in an attempt to stop the pain but he pressed closer to her body pushing her hands away. Renee stood there helplessly as he continued to do whatever he was doing.
`I get it. I'm back… back to the world that we came from! I knew he was familiar. He's the-the prince! The Ice prince! The royal son of the people who destroyed my kingdom and killed Alli's parents!'

Darkness, the only thing visible to the young Alli's eyes. Perched on a soft pillow she huddled under a thick blanket trying to become warm. It had to have been at least a few hours since a large, burly man pushed her into this frigid stone room where she was to wait for who ever was coming for her. Since then she had slowly explored the room with her hands and found the room was actually someone's bed room. Not wanting to be rude she took a pillow and a blanket from the bed and sat on the floor near the end of the bed where she was now.
“Renee… Where are you?” She asked the darkness with tear filled eyes. With out Renee around she felt alone, afraid and empty. Hugging the blanket too tightly around her she softly hummed a familiar lullaby in a successful attempt to keep herself from crying. “… papa's gonna buy you a mocking bird… if that mocking bird won't sing… papa's gonna buy you a diamond… ring…”
