Chapter three boyfriends and best friends

The next day at a cafe on Main Street

Anna sat across from Rei looking threw the papers scattered on the table

“Anna take a break” Rei said worried

“No this case is bugging me I can't help but think there's something we are missing”

“Anna don't let it get to you”

“Don't let what get to me the fact that we have a cereal killer on our hands or the fact that I can do nothing about it”

“Anna go home go to bed okay I'll see you in a few hours” Rei said walking away leaving no room for argument

Anna stood out side of her apartment building Rei had said to go to bed but what would it hurt to go down the street and look in to that new suspect it wasn't like it was that much out of her way. Plus Rei would never even know.

Rei stood out side of one apartment. He was going to quickly question Mr. Cameron (does any one know kenny's last name cause this is who that is) who was the only lead at the time and then run over to Anna's and keep her company. Mr. Cameron was Miss Tatibana's boyfriend it seemed a well-known fact amongst her friends and yet her sister knew nothing of him and that made him a person of interest defiantly. He reached the apartment numbered 224 and knocked.

“Hello Mr. Cameron anyone home? Police I would like to ask you some questions.”

The door opened

“Yes what would you like?” a brown haired man asked peeking around the parsley opened door

“Could I talk to you about Miss. Hillary Tatibana?”

“Yes of course detective come in I head about Hil yesterday it truly is a tragedy.”

“You don't seem that upset I mean for a mourning boyfriend.”

“Well Hil and I where broken up as of last week. there was no real love there just her using me to get back at her father. So please excuse me if I'm less then remorseful.” Mr. Cameron said leading the way in to his living/dining room.

“Okay so where were you at 5am 2 days ago?”

“In Boston for a journalist convention. I Wright for the weekly inquisitor.”

“Okay do you have anyone that can say you where there?”

“My partner, Talla Ivokan.”

“Okay then I will call you if I need any more info.”

“Thank you detective, good day.”

“Good bye” Rei said waling out the door and in to Anna

“What are you doing here?” He was positively livid

“Out for a walk?”

“No go home and climb in to bed!”

“Fine evil”

“Good and this time I am going with you to make sure you get there”

“He, he k then.”

They got to Anna's' house in 5 minutes flat and she was pouting as he set her in bed in 10. Rei rolled his eyes she had put up such a fuss she was like a spoiled child. A very cute spoiled child but spoiled all the same.

“Reeeeeeii I'm not tiered.” She whined

“Well you're going to sleep so deal with it.”

“Menie I'm not talking to you any more she said turning her back to him and curling up under the covers.

“Fine be like that Anna.” He said but she didn't hear him as her breathing evened out and she fell asleep.

The next morning Anna woke up to something warm by her feet. She looked down and there was Rei lying at the end of her bed. She giggled a bit and patted his head.

“Good puppy” she whispered to her sleeping partner.

She smiled be for pulling away and heading towards her door when she heard a whine she turned around and saw Rei trying to find her in his sleep. She smiled

“I'll be right back Rei she” whispered to him and he settled back in to rest full sleep

as Anna entered her kitchen she saw the blinking light on her answering machine she pressed the play button and listened as her whole investigation went down the hole Hillary Tatibana's' fiancé had been killed the night be for. This was just great.
