Chapter four when things go from bad to worse

Twenty minutes later Anna and Rei walked up to the victims' apartment's it looked just as it had when matt had left the day be for. A cop walked up to them.

“Officer what happen here?” Anna asked

“He was shot threw the head with what looks to be a revolver from the exit wound. It looks like the guy knew the person too there was no struggle and from what we can tell nothing is missing from the house.”

“Good then thank you we can take it from here” Rei said stepping over the yellow tape that was on the bed room doorway.

“Did you touch anything?” Anna asked

“No miss. We left every thing like it was we just secured the area.”

“Good then. Rei call Johnny in the lab and ask him to be ready for a body I want to know exactly how he was killed.” Anna said looking at the dead man sitting in bed. “And I want some one from the lab to come down here and bag this stuff we can't have any screw ups got it?”

“Yes Anna”

Two hours later Anna walked in to the chiefs' office with a very grim report. The culprit in the murder had left no d.n.a just as in the other 2 murders. This confirmed her suspicions one person was to blame for all 3 of these barbaric murders.

“So black what do you have for me good news I hope?” chief Robert (insert what ever his last name is)asked with a hopeful look in his eye

“I'm sorry sir but no such luck the culprit left no d.n.a fingerprints nothing not even a partial foot print. But this does prove my theory that this is the same man. Sir. We have a cereal killer on our hands.”

“Damn I was hoping that oh never mind. Call out all of the reinforcements you need I want every available person on this.”

“Yes sir.” Anna said with a grim look “and what do you suppose I tell them sir. That we have no evidence to go on we are just going to go out ands look for some random person?”

“ If that is what it takes to get them out there then you bet that's what your going to be telling them I want every available officer on this thing is that understood?”

“ Yes sir. Understood.” Anna said walking out of the room she had a lot of people to get in a very short amount of time.

Two hours later still at the precinct.

“Detective black this just came for you!” a young intern called running down the hall

“Thank you” Anna said taking the letter from the girls hand it read

Dear miss. Black

All you need to know is that I have Tyson kinomiya and if you don't stop this investigation his fate will be the same as the others.

Anna gasped and dropped the paper this was not good this was super extremely not good this was ultra supper amazingly not good this was really, really bad.

“Anna” you okay Rei asked walking up behind her. she looked at him and pointed to the paper lying on the floor as if it was a great evil.

“Read that.” She said shakily

Rei took the paper in to his had and looked over at the red head before starting to read. Anna watched as his face went from confused to angry to shocked in a matter of seconds. if it had been any other time she would be rolling on the floor in laughter but now was not the time or place to make her self look like an idiot and at the moment she was not in the mood to laugh.

“What kind of sick demented man are we dealing with?” Rei asked looking over at his partner again

“I don't know Rei, the real question is what do we do now?”

“umm we umm umm ummmm umm damn I cant think of any thing I'm supposed to solve peoples problems”

“sense when?”

“Sense oh I don't know shut up!”

“No you are really pathetic.”

“Shut up we have more pressing matters to attend to” Rei said miffed

“Yah your right-cough- for once. Let's go check with the chief maybe he'll have some Idea of what to do.”

In the chiefs' office 10 minutes later

“How the hell am I supposed to know what to do in this situation we have never had to deal with this situation?”

“Well neither have we!” Rei yelled back Anna sighed why did she have to be surrounded by idiots?

“Shut up both of you this is getting us no where either we stop the investigation or we be more careful.” They looked at her in amazement “how did you even get this job your both horridly bad at it!” she rolled her eyes “god I'm surrounded by idiots.”

Rei sighed Anna had been so mad at him and his stupidity that she had left him here to do deskwork. Damn he hated deskwork. He really, really hated deskwork. He sighed again. This was a requisition form why was he stuck filling out a requisition form when they had a cereal killer on the loose.

Anna sighed some times pride was just not worth the hassle this was so annoying interviewing the suspects took way long with out Rei there to help her why did she have to yell at him? God this was going to be along day.

Rei sighed his life sucked. he was supposed to be one of the lead officers on a high profile case but instead he was stuck with all the paper work. all because of his stupid pride he sighed again maybe if apologized to Anna she would let him back on the field. he hadn't meant to sound dumb but he was still on his first cup of coffee and well the killers timing sucked. So now he was walking home cause Anna took the car. they had ridden to work together the day be for. so now that left him walking along Brooklyn alone. And it was cold and wet and now he was whining but did he care no, no he didn't. “Achoo” and now he was getting sick. This was just great.
