Beyblade Fan Fiction ❯ The Untouched Life Of My Dreams ❯ Disbelief And Concern ( Chapter 5 )
Okay so how did you guys like the last chappie aye? Sorry I haven't updated for like ages, but I was getting bored of the story coz the novelty was starting to ware off, but to my great surprise I have decided to finish the story. Okay well anyways here is chapter 5. Read and enjoy, and if you do then PLEASE review, I would like to stress the importance of reviewing a story whether or not you like it. It is good to give a little constructive critism to help the author improve their writing skills and also helps them with ideas. Suggestions are also largely welcome too. Also if you like the story or chapter as is then I would very much appreciate you taking the time to review, as I and many other authors took the time to write the story for you in the first place. Thanks. Lauren.
Chapter 5
Disbelief And Concern
It was early the next morning, 6:00am to be exact. The harmonious golden rays of sunlight flooded through the large clear sliding doors of the penthouse apartment, banishing all the darkness as it blanketed the entire room.
Kalayne flinched a little as the light blinded her closed eyes as it drummed down on each of her delicate eyelids, forcing the young woman to wake with an awkward expression on her face.
As Kalayne began to realise where she was, the memories of the spontaneous and exhilarating events that took place the night before flickered through her mind rapidly and not to mention vividly. Just the thought of what she did…… they did, could be enough to make her brink over the edge all over again. That reminded her that there were two that participated in the exhausting but spine-tingling activities of last night, not just her; so Kalayne slowly and contently flipped her head over from the opposite direction to look at the place where her lover would be, sleeping comfortably beside her. Much to Kalayne's surprise, she was shocked to see that Kai was no longer in the bed, or in the room for that matter. Kalayne was a little worried about Kai, what happened, what was going to happen, what they were going to be to each other. Kalayne eventually concluded that Kai was either in the shower or he was close by. None the less she was eagerly as well as cautious to find him, to discuss where they were to go from here. Much to Kalayne's naivety, how wrong she would soon find out she was. Looking in the bathroom, Kai was not their, so Kalayne quickly dressed herself and headed for the door. Before she walked out through the opening, she turned around for one last look then strode off with determination to find the answers to her oh so many questions.
*What the fuck have I done?* Kai questioned himself in a manner of regret.
Kai was sitting on a large rock that was imbedded deeply in the bank of a fresh and clean river. The river was situated in the clearing of a large lush field only minutes away from the exquisite high-rise building her owned. He was training hard moments before but couldn't get his mind off the eventful night. How he longed for the moment when he could touch, kiss and just love Kalayne. He was awarded that moment last night, and now he regretted ever letting her step inside his room at all, let along make love to her.
*It was done for all the wrong reasons. What the hell is Kalayne going to think now? I don't think I can even look at her again! I am so fucked up, SHIT!* Kai kept repeating to himself over and over and over again.
"My dear son" Came the voice of Kai's mother, once again in the form of a beautiful angel.
Kai jumped up a little startled at the suddenness of the brake of silence.
"Kai there is no need to feel regret about what happened between you and Kalayne Last night" Continued Kai's mother in a serious but comforting tone.
