There was faith, sitting amongst the white tigers in Asia. When did she meet them? Why did she meet them? Paris needed answers from the girl. She needed to know everything because she was sick and tired of the secrets. If faith valued their friendship, she would tell her everything. She didn't realize that the owner backpack had just come in the door. She didn't look to happy either. "Why are you in my backpack? And I'd like to have a good explanation." Paris looked like a deer caught in the headlights of a big truck. "Well I had to find out who you are somehow since you never tell anything about your past. And would you please tell me when you met my former team mates." "I like to keep some parts of my life a secret, ok. I met them shortly after I left Russia. After them I went to France, became a member of the majestics, left them, and came here, and that's all you need to know. Anything else you're curious about?" "Yes, I want to know where you got the dress and necklace from. And, why are you so angry why anyone wants to know about your past." Paris knew faith was getting angry, but she didn't care this time.

"Look faith, I just don't want you to keep secrets from me ok. We're best friends for crying out loud." Faith was surprised by that answer and visibly calmed down. "I'm sorry Paris. It's just that I've been through a lot of rough shit in my life and the last thing I want is pity from my friends. There's only one person who knows almost everything about me, and I'd like to keep it that way ok." It wasn't the answer she had hoped for but by the things she felt she knew that she didn't want to push it. "You know you can trust me, tell me whenever you're ready ok?" "That dress was a gift from when I was with the majestic and I got that necklace from my father before… before the misery begun. That was a long, long time ago."

There were a few moments of silence until faith decided to start the conversation again. "You know you're probably going to meet your old team members again since this is an international tournament. And with that thought Paris sighed. "I wonder how ray is doing" she murmured, hoping faith wouldn't hear it. "Ray? He left shortly after you they say, though not in gratitude" hearing that Paris was all ears to what faith had found out about him.

"What??? Do they know why? And do you know where he is? Please, please, please tell me" "Whoa, hold your horses, and no I don't. Mariah seemed worried, being childhood friends with him and all, she kept rambling he left because of her being with lee, go figure" Paris was also wondering something else. "Don't you ever wonder how your old team-mates are doing?" Faith sighed as her eyes turned midnight blue with grief. "Go to bed, it's an early day of training tomorrow" Paris was defiantly not happy with the change of subject. "Hey! Who died and made you team captain?"

"I DID! Now go to sleep and DROP the subject ok?" Paris turned off the lights, feeling a sting in her soul, knowing this was faiths pain and grief. She decided to drop it … for now. She didn't want to get to the previous discussion again. Paris knew that faith missed several persons a lot, for she hadn't missed the letters that were in between faiths photos. And because of the emotional link she felt faiths sadness and pain. She even heard the soft crying from her friend's bed. She fell asleep, dreaming about her old team-mates again seconds later.

Months of training past. One week before the tournament the teams started coming. Most of them were unknown to them. Paris was busy being bored while faith was working on a new blade.

But she suddenly saw four familiar faces coming through the door. -Faith was right! - She jumped up from her chair and couldn't help the squeal coming from her mouth.

"Mariah, Kevin, Lee, Gary, so good to see you!!!" "ooh Paris, we were worried sick, but you're ok… is that faith?" "Yeah, we're here to represent Belgium with two others, we met at the national tournament" "go figure" "now lee, be nice" she whispered in Paris' ear, knowing full well that lee could still hear it "still hasn't coped with the fact he lost to her." Paris grinned even wider. "Anyway, hey faith… oops sorry, I didn't know u were working on a blade" "'s ok, Paris, could you catch up with your old friends someplace else. I really need to focus" "yeah, sure, come on guys, let's head to the bar."
