I don't own Bleach or the characters/places/things in bleach. I only own the OC.

Aneko began to look at other stores and what they displayed, but it was no use. She just didn't like any other dresses. She was in love with the purple one.
“Well…I guess I'll just get a couple of shirts and pants…yeah…why not?” She tried making herself positive again.
“Alright! Off to the mall!”
She began heading towards the mall when suddenly, she felt an unwanted presence. “Wha…?” She looked behind her and noticed a Hollow began coming out of the sky. “A-a Hollow…!?”
She then started to run away from the area and hopefully be able to get a closer view. 'This…isn't good! I have to stop it…!' She then remembered that she didn't have her weapon, it was left at home. “Crap!”
She glanced back and noticed the Hollow had disappeared as well as the hole in the sky. Suddenly she felt a cold and dark presence just behind her. She slowly motioned her head back and was now looking into the dark Hollow's eyes.
“My, My…what do we have here?! I must say…your spiritual power is deliciously strong!”
Aneko backed away, as the Hollow continued to gaze its eyes on her, preparing its attack, only to be stopped by a tree.
She felt her heart sink, “Oh no…n-now w-what do I do?!”
The Hollow walked closer to Aneko, “I'll tell you what…if you stay still and let me eat you I promise to make it quick and painless,”
“W-what kind of a cheap ass offer is that?! It's worst than my dress offer!” She then yelled. She knew she had to think of something, or act even if it wasn't planned. She took a deep breath and quickly ran to the side of the hollow. 'I may not have my weapon but I can at least slow him down and distract him from eating anything or anyone!' She then noticed a thick and rather hard stick on the floor and grabbed it in defense mode, taking any chances.
“Alright, come and get me you ugly bastard!”
If you insist my dear!” It then charged for Aneko with full speed. She managed to move out of the way in time, smacking it on the head with the stick, though she knew it wouldn't do any good since she herself couldn't hold it without shaking.
It glared back at Aneko, “That was unfair! For that you will pay!” It opened its mouth, filled with sharp, long teeth, and began charging for her once more.
“Ah, Crap…!” Thinking quickly she shoved the stick in its mouth so it couldn't shut its jaws on her. “That was to close for comfort!” She felt sweat run down her frightened face. “I don't know how long I can even hold this guy for!”
Suddenly the stick snapped in half allowing the Hollow to move its jaw freely again, “I'm going to tare you to shreds!”
“Damn it! N-now what?!” She began to run away, she was all out of ideas. The Hollow was just too strong for her to handle. “If I stick around any longer I'm gonna become Hollow Chow!” She turned around and ran as fast as her legs could, but even a human gets tired at a certain point. “Ah, I don't think I can pull this off any longer!”
The Hollow had enough of playing around and began to jump, which in Aneko's case jumping was a bad thing. Since it was so huge, all it needed was one leap to catch up to her.
Aneko glanced back shocked, “No fair! I can't jump!”
It landed in front of her and its enormous body made the ground shake making Aneko fly back. “Muhaha! Now you DIE!!” It swung its hand towards her with frightening speed.
“No! I can't die!” She sat up but its swing was much to fast for her to even dodge or to even think of dodging. She then closed her eyes shut, tightly, and waited for the impact.
Suddenly a blue light pierced through the swinging arm, cutting it in half. The arm just missed Aneko. Her eyes shot open, “W-what the…!?”
“GAAAAHHHHHHHHH!” The Hollow's cry could be heard throughout the entire city. It then lost its balance and fell back.
Aneko cautiously glanced to the side and to her surprise saw Uryu with his long spiritual bow in his grasp.
“U-Uryu…?!”
He went up to her and helped her up, “Are you ok?”
“Y-yes…I'm fine,” They both then stared back at the suffering Hollow. It continued to cry and roar.
“It's so sad…” Aneko then said sympathetically.
Uryu readied his bow and shot it towards the Hollow, ending its misery.
“GAAAHHHHHHHHH! NO!” It began to evaporate into the air. Once it had completely vanished everything became normal.
“I followed the scent of the Hollow…I wasn't expecting you to be here already…” He then spoke, staring back at Aneko.
“Oh…yeah…I noticed it before it touched ground…I wanted to stop it…but then I remembered I didn't have my weapon…”
He looked at her shocked and quite surprised, “And you still went after it?” She glanced down and nodded, “I…just wanted to help out…I wasn't thinking at all...”
His bow then disappeared. “No…you really weren't,” He then replied. “What if you got killed?”
She gave him a shameful and regretting look, “I'm sorry…I guess I'm really not cut out for this job…”
He sighed and adjusted his glasses. “You should really think about what you're getting yourself into…”
Aneko's body began to shiver as she tried hard not to cry, “I'm…I'm so useless…” Uryu sighed once again; she obviously got the wrong message. “I didn't say you're useless,
“You don't have to be so sympathetic towards me…I've been getting this a lot…I just…didn't think…” She wiped her tears as they built up in her eyes, “I didn't think…”
“Why are you crying…? I only meant that you should think about it! As in just to realize what you're getting into!”
She stopped whipping her tears and glanced at him, “Getting…into?” She glanced away and thought about it,
“Why do you fight?”
“Do you like fighting?”
'Is this what Ichigo meant…?'
“You know…if you ask me…I'm kinda impressed on how well you handled that Hollow…considering you didn't even have your weapon,”
She gave Uryu a shocked stare, “Impressed…?” She then felt a smile grow on her face. “No…one…ever told me…that they were impressed by me…I've never heard those words before…”
He looked at her sympathetically, “No one…?”
She felt tears roll down her cheeks, “No one…no matter how hard I tried to do something…I've never gotten to hear those words…until…now…” She whipped her tears, smiling again.
“Thank you…Uryu,
He pushed his glasses up and felt a faint blush cross his face, “Uh…well, no need to thank me…
“Why not? You made me the happiest person today!” She then announced.
“No really…you can stop,” He continued to fix his glasses.
“Don't be so modest Uryu! You saved me too!” She then continued. She was having too much fun making him blush.
He then cleared his throat, “Don't you have somewhere to be?” He then asked trying to change the subject.
“Well…I was shopping…” She felt her pockets and realized her wallet was gone. “M-my wallet! I-it's gone!”
“What? You lost your wallet?”
Aneko nodded ashamed, “I was robbed by a Hollow!” She then sobbed.
“I highly doubt a Hollow would do that” Uryu then replied trying to put some common sense into her.
“Well…then who do you think stole it?!” She asked now facing him.
“Well for one thing…it wasn't a Hollow and another…it probably just fell out of your pockets when you were fighting the Hollow,” Aneko looked at him and realized that his theory wasn't so stupid compared to hers. “Oh…makes sense…”
He walked up to her, “Here…how about I help you look for it?” He then offered kindly.
“Really?! Oh thank you!”

They searched in the last place Aneko was, which was the place she and the Hollow met. As Aneko looked in the bushes, Uryu looked on the grassy ground.
“Any luck yet?” She then shouted to Uryu.
He shook his head and fixed his glasses, “No…”
“It has to be here somewhere…! I know I had it before I left the house!” She dug more into the bushes. She then noticed something shiny under a part of the leafy bush. She moved the branch and picked it up, “Huh…?” She examined it closely. “What the…?” Suddenly little bug legs came out of the item. “A…a…bug…!?” It then revealed itself and began crawling on her hand.
“AHHHHHH!!!”
Uryu was looking under a branch that fell when he heard Aneko's scream. It caught him off guard making him drop the branch on his hand hard. He felt extreme pain but ignored it and shook it off as he ran to her.
“Aneko are you…” He noticed her backed away from the branch, “…Ok?”
She looked at him with little tears in her eyes, “T-there was…! T-there was…!”
He looked at her serious, “A Hollow?!” He then asked ready to take his Bow out. She shook her head, “No…a…a bug!”
His left eye twitched, “YOU YELLED OVER A STUPID LITTLE BUG?!” Now his voice could be heard throughout the city.

They then sat down on a log as Aneko wrapped bandages around Uryu's crushed hand. “Does it hurt?” She then asked.
He pushed his glasses up, “No…”
She looked at him ashamed with herself, “Sorry…”
“Uh…d-don't be!” He then replied shaking his hands in front of her, “I'm fine really!” He then assured.
She nodded, sighing. “If you say so...”
“I guess we kinda failed on finding your wallet, huh?” Uryu then asked. Aneko smiled, “Yeah…oh well…I'll just look for it later,
“So…you aren't going to the beach?” She then asked him at random.
“No…why bother, besides it would be humiliating to all Quincy's if I did,” He then replied looking away.
“Oh…so…you don't like to relax once in awhile?”
“I don't have the time or patience to do that…” He replied still gazing away.
“Yeah…I guess I sort of know what you mean…I was like that during school…” She then replied. He then gazed his attention towards her. “…Everyone told me to lighten up…stop studying so much…I even missed out on fun activities I regret…even to this day…but…realizing that…only made me feel more alone…that's why I want…well, wanted to go to this little trip. But also…” She frowned, glancing at her arm. But quickly glanced back at Uryu, smiling, “But it's your decision…and besides you're probably just not a beach guy…I understand.”
He looked away. “It's…it's not like that…I just don't get the point…either way...why go somewhere you're not wanted?”
She then arched raised an eyebrow, “What do you mean…?” He looked at her, “…I don't want to go…that's all,”
She looked at him unsure of what to think but smiled at him, “So…you're telling me that…you just don't enjoy the beach?” She than asked in a cherry voice, making him looked at her with confusion and suspicion.
“I…guess”
She got up and faced him, “Ok, well…” her eyes trailed to her arm then back at him, “I'm not gonna go! So we can hang out if you like?”
He looked at her quite puzzled, “What…? You just said you wanted to go…!”
“I'm not going if you're not, simple as that…” She then replied. “So…what do you say?”
He looked at her with confusion still on his face, 'Why would she do this?'
“Well…?”
He adjusted his glasses looking down, “If you think it's the right thing to do…I don't mind it really…” She smiled and nodded, “Alright! Then it's settled! We'll hang out and have fun on our own,”
She then paused and glanced towards the evening sky in thought, “Humm…I wonder how I'm gonna break it down to Ichigo's annoying friend…”
“Wait,”
She glanced back at Uryu as he got up, looking at her, “I think you should go with them…”
“Huh…but why? What about you?” She gave him a confused expression. She didn't want to leave him all alone during summer, the one and only time in every person's life to have fun.
“I'll go…but only because I want you to go,” He then replied as he walked off.
She felt a blush cross her face as well as a smile, “Uryu…”
He then looked back at her, “I'm going home…see you,
“O-ok…bye…”

Uryu couldn't figure why Aneko was being so nice to him. It's not like she wasn't ever nice to him, but to risk finally having fun after a long period of time, as she said. It was bugging Uryu. Was it she was just being nice or something else? He didn't get it at all…
He made it in town, on his way home and noticed a wallet lay on the floor in front of a store. He walked towards it, picking it up. “Could this be her wallet?” He opened it and saw a picture of two little kids. His eyes slightly widened when he noticed it was Aneko and Ichigo. She had cute little pigtails and wore a pink simple dress. Ichigo wore a baseball t-shirt and a cap.
What shocked Uryu about it most was how happy they looked in it. He smirked at the picture. He thought Aneko looked cute as a little girl and so innocent it was hard to believe how different they looked and were from then to today.
“…Why is her wallet out here?” He glanced at the store and noticed the purple dress Aneko wanted so much on display. Of course he wasn't aware of that. He figured he might as well drop the wallet off at her house weather she was home or not.

Aneko had just made it home and noticed a note on the door once she got in. She grabbed it knowing what it was already going to say.
“Dear, Ichigo, Aneko and Karin
Yuzu and I went to the barbeque…we would have had it at our own home but the grill caught on fire, so we went to the steak house instead! We'll be back soon,
Dad
She sighed and crumpled the note throwing it in the trash. “Well then…” She went to her room to grab a sweater so she could head back outside to look for the wallet.
Once she stepped in her room she noticed her pile of clothing moving and rustling around. “Eh…?” With caution she went closer to the pile and slowly reached her hand out to pull the clothing off revealing what was in her room. 'Here goes nothing…!' Like ripping a bandage off, quick and painless, she picked up her clothing and noticed Kon laying there.
“Kon…?!”
“H-hello…!” He then waved nervously.
“What the hell are you doing in my room and most of all, in my pile of clothes?!”
He got up and jumped onto her desk so he was at least waist height, “I came back home!” He then announced trying to make it all better.
“…That doesn't answer my question.” She gave him a glare that could pierce through metal.
“U-uhh…well I was so comfy in your pile of clothes-” He was then grabbed making a SQUEEK and tossed towards the wall.
SQUEEK
“How about you never hide in my room again! She then left leaving the poor little lion scared against the wall.
“Gezz, everyone here is mean!”

Just as she reached for the door knob to leave, the knob twisted itself and the door opened revealing Ichigo and Karin on the other side.
“Huh…?”
“We were so close to wining!” Karin's voice then cried out. Ichigo sighed at his sister, “It's not a big deal…so you lost a stupid game…so what?”
Aneko watched them past her; it was like she wasn't noticed. “Uhh…? What are you two doing home?” She then questioned.
Ichigo and Karin both stopped and looked back, “Oh…Aneko.”
“I lost the stupid tournament, ok!” Karin then replied with a huff, and walked away mumbling words.
“Gezz…talk about anger issues…” Aneko then stated as she turned to Ichigo.
“…where are you going?” he then asked as he noticed her with a sweater.
“Oh…I lost my wallet…so I'm going to find it,
He looked at her as if she bared two heads, It's dark out side…why go now…? You won't be able to see a thing,” He then stated.
“I have a flash light and don't worry…I'll live,”
He sighed and shut the door. “Why don't you wait till dad and Yuzu get back…then I'll tag along” Aneko shook her head and grabbed the door knob, “I can manage on my own…besides…it has values in it,
“What money?” He then asked, figuring that was all she cared about.
“Sure…” She replied with sarcasm. She then opened the door and walked out the door, shutting it behind her.

She took a few steps on the block when she realized she had forgotten her weapon. “Should I even bring it…?” She thought about it for a second. Sure a hollow might come again and attack, but also might not and if she was caught outside at night with a weapon like that she'd probably be arrested.
She sighed at the thought. It wasn't easy…Sure, everyone had weapons to help them in combat, but they could summon them at anytime. Aneko had to actually carry hers. She groaned and headed back home.
“Maybe I'll just look for it tomorrow…I'm sure no one will find it and take it…”
As she walked back home she could hear the laughter from her childhood, the memories of her and Ichigo running along the shoreline in the beach then sparked itself in her thoughts,
“Ha, I bet you can't catch me Ichigo!”
“H-hey! S-stop running so fast!” A little innocent Ichigo then yelled, panting as he felt exhausted.
Aneko stuck her tongue out,“Stop being such a baby!” His tiny bodythen fell and landed in the wet sand.
“Huh…?!” She glanced back and saw the hurt Ichigo just about to cry. She ran back to him and helped him sit up.
“Aww…don't be a baby and cryShe then said, wanting to cry herself.
He looked at her as tears filled his big adorable eyes. “Don't! Com'on be a man…” She then said sitting next to him, sniffing a couple of times. Hethen sniffedas he wiped his tears.
“Hey I know!” She then announced as her finger was in the air, she had an idea. He looked at her with curiosity in his eyes. “Why don't we go back and get some ice cream from mama?”
A big grin appeared on his face, “Ok!” The thought of seeinghis mom always brought joy to him. Anekothenwhipped any tears she bared in her eyes andhelped him up. They then walked to their parents.
Her memory faded as she heard herself make a soft giggle, “He was always such a mama's boy…”
It then suddenly began to rain outside. “Wha?! It was starry outside two seconds ago!” She put her hood up and ran back home.

Ichigo and Karin were watching T.V, while eating popcorn and drinking soda, when Aneko entered the house.
Ichigo and Karin placed their attention back at her and noticed she was soaking wet. “What the hell happened to you?” Ichigo then asked. Karin's laugh could be heard soon after.
“How about you don't ask…” She took her shoes off and headed towards her room.
“Ok. We won't!” Karin then replied as she tried not to laugh while saying those words, but failed. Ichigo glanced at her and sighed.
Time then passed, Karin went to sleep after watching the movie. Ichigo sighed in relief. He thought it was the worst movie he'd ever seen. He wondered why he bothered watching it. He then realized the time. It was getting late and his father and Yuzu weren't back yet. He noticed it was raining harder outside.
Walking back to the couch he heard the phone ring. He reached the phone and answered, "Hello?"
"ICHIGO!"
Ichigo held the phone away from his ear as they almost bleed from the loudness in his father's voice.
"W-where the hell are you!?" He then asked irritated, "It's almost midnight!"
"Well...we were on our way back home...but the roads are being blocked and in this weather it'll take us hours to get home...so were gonna' go to a hotel,"
Ichigo sighed, "Fine,"
"SEE YO-" Ichigo then slammed the phone, hanging it up and sighed.
Just as he was about to go to his room for the long nap his body thirsted for...a knock came from the door.
"Humm...? Who could possibly be here this late…? "He answered it, only to see his Quincy friend at the door.

That darn' Karin! Ha, what luck no? Anyways, Plz, Plzcomment! It'd be much appreciated!
