Everyone noticed Ichigo flying towards the hole, “ICHIGO!!”
Aneko didn't understand what he was planning at first. But he gave a look to her that only she'd understand.
“YOU IDIOT WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!” Rukia was about to stop him when Ichigo gave her a look that said: back off.
“Ichigo…?”
“Everyone…I'll see you later.” Then, with those last words he got sucked in and in a flash the hole closed and disappeared.
“ICHIGO!!” Everyone ran to the spot where he was sucked. “Ichigo!” Orihime and Rukia both called his name.
“What the hell was he thinking using himself as a sacrifice?!” Renji then asked with anger in his voice.
“What an idiot!” Uryu also spoke angry at his decision. Chad frowned at the fact his friend was gone, “Ichigo…”
The rain then stopped that moment. Everyone was soaking wet. Orihime felt tears run down her cheeks, “Ichi…Ichigo.” She placed her hands on her face as she quietly sobbed.
“Stop crying Orihime,” Aneko then demanded. Everyone glanced at her quite shocked. She didn't have an ounce of sadness in her eyes and Ichigo was her brother.
“Aneko…?” She walked up to Orihime, “Do you…do you all honestly think Ichigo…that…that dumb ass brother of mine who never gives up! Who always finds the easiest ways out of situations…would go and kill himself?” She then glanced down at her cut, “He'll be back…I know he will...”
Renji then sighed and rubbed his head, “You know…she's right. Knowing that moron he'll just lose his temper on the Hollows and kill them all,” He then joked.
Rukia looked at them both and felt a small smile cross her face, “You're right…I shouldn't have doubted him…” Uryu nodded along with Chad.
“Right…”
Aneko glanced at Orihime, “Well…?”
Orihime then looked at them all, letting her tears run down, “Yeah…you're right. He'll return…!
“Well then…” Renji looked at Rukia, “We should head back and give news to what's going on.” Rukia nodded, “Right…we'll keep an eye out incase anything may go wrong…and we'll check in to see if he's return yet,
Aneko nodded, “Right…”
A door then appeared and two black butterflies flew out and around Rukia and Renji as they walked in, the door then shut leaving Orihime, Uryu, Chad and Aneko alone. It was still dark outside but the rain was gone making it easier to get by.
“Well…” Aneko glanced at them, “We should just head home and wait for tomorrow…I'm sure he'll be back by then… Orihime then noticed her wound, “U-uh Aneko! What about your cut?!” Uryu and Chad glanced at it. She lost a lot of blood; it was noticeable since she left a trail of it on the ground.
“O-oh…well it's nothing too serious…I'll just fix it at home,” Orihime gave her a not so convinced look, “Why don't you let me heal it?”
“There's no point in wasting your powers on a cut I can fix…right?”
“But…”
“Don't worry…I'll be fine,” She smiled at her making Orihime smile back, “A-alright…if you say so…”
“Good,

Chad and Orihime then went back to their homes and Uryu and Aneko walked back to her house.
“Are you sure it's not so bad?” Uryu then asked. Aneko glanced at him and smiled, “I'm fine…besides…we have to get your wound fix to” He then remembered he got slash on the back by one of the hollows, “Oh…right.” He was going to push his glasses up when he realized he didn't have them.
“Sorry…about your glasses…”
He looked at her and smiled, “No need to be…I can just buy another pair,” She smiled at him and looked at the street lights, “I guess…if I hadn't come…then…”
-Then I wouldn't have anyone to talk to,” Uryu then spoke before she could say anything else negative about herself.
“Humm…?”
He smiled at her, “You need to stop being so negative to yourself…you may think some of what happened is your fault but it isn't…nothing would have really changed!”
She stopped walking and looked at him surprised. He noticed and stopped as well, standing ahead of her.
“Uhh…” He looked at her realizing that what he'd said might have been harsh…in a way.
“W-well…I just meant that-!”
“-I know! And you're right…I shouldn't always blame myself…cause no matter what…you still would have ended up hurt…Ichigo still would have been sucked up by the hole, Orihime and Chad still would have been the same, makes sense!” She smiled and walked on. Uryu looked at her confused of what just happened. He couldn't believe he finally got some sense into her.
“Uh…well yes,” He then followed her.
“But…” She stopped, causing Uryu to stop beside her. “What's wrong?”
She put her hand over her cut where the blood was coming from, “If…if I didn't come…then Ichigo might have not been cut on the chest
He noticed the guilt she bared in her eyes. He wanted to say something to go against that but who was he kidding? She was right. Because she had insisted on helping back there Ichigo got hurt.
“You know…” He then spoke, she just listened. “I blame myself for something…as well..." She glanced at him and wondered what that something it could be.
"...I blame myself that you got hurt in the first place…” Those words caught her attention “…I should have been able to protect you…”
Her eyes widened and her mouth slowly opened, “Uryu…?” He smiled at her, “So I guess we're both to blame…”
She looked away as her cheeks turned red, “U-uh…well!”
He then walked ahead of her, “Come on, let's hurry and get some warm shelter.
They then made it back at the Kurosaki residents. Uryu wrapped Aneko's arm with bandages and in return Aneko helped with his wound.
“This may sting a little…” She warned as she got the cloth ready. He was on his stomach, shirtless. He nodded and braced himself for the pain.
She dabbed the cloth in his cut to clean it out so it wouldn't get so infected. He tightened his grasp on a pillow and clenched his teeth as the pain sank in. She then finished and placed the cloth in the bowl of warm water. “There…sorry it hurt so much,
He sighed in relief that it was done. “Don't worry…”
“All I have to do is put the bandages on and you're done, k?” He glanced back at her and nodded. Karin then came in the room with new clothing for Uryu, “There…I managed to find something dry for you.”
“Thank you,
Aneko smiled at her, thanking her. She knew that telling Karin the truth about everything would be a lot easier. She was glad that she could trust her. Though she's the only one who knows and they plan to keep it like that. A Sister's Secret.
After Aneko finished wrapping his wounds Uryu changed into the dry clothing that was given and Karin went to sleep considering she waited up all night till they returned.
Aneko stayed up and made sure Uryu went to sleep, “Well…I guess all we can do is get a goodnight's rest…and hope Ichigo finds a way out.” She then spoke. She sat on the corner of the bed as Uryu laid down on it.
“Yeah…”
She then noticed the time, “Oh…! Well I guess I'll be going to bed…good night,” She got up and walked towards her room.
“Good night”

Ichigo slowly opened his eyes and noticed he was in a world of black and white, “Huh…?”
“So you've finally awaken?”
He noticed the spirit of Zangetsu standing over him, “Uh…?”
“No time for slacking…we have to get you out of here now.” Ichigo managed to stand up, “R-right…” He then replied, still in a daze.
“Now use me to slice through that red spot.” He pointed towards a little red dot that looked like it floated in mid air.
“Uh, ok…got it!” His Zanpakuto changed into Zangetsu and he ran towards the red dot, “NOW!” He sliced at it and noticed the dot broke in half like a shard of glass.
“Good…! Now when I say, jump through the portal that will appear.” Ichigo nodded and waited for a portal to appear.
“Nothing's happening!” He then yelled. The little red dot was just shattered on to the ground like any other item. “…” Ichigo began to lose patience, “When…will…the…door…open… ?” His teeth clenched as he tried to remain calm.
“Itshould have opened…interesting,
“What the hell do you mean “Interesting”?!” Ichigo then yelled in irritation.
“Calm down Ichigo…it only means that we can't go this way.”
“Eh…?” Ichigo looked at him blankly, “This…way? What the hell does that mean?!”
Zangetsu then walked towards another black hole that was near by. “W-what are you doing?!” Ichigo gripped his sword and followed.
“You'll have to make a longer journey then I thought to get back home,
“Figures…” He then said beneath his breath. Zangetsu then raised his left arm high and the black hole showed another world.
“Huh…?!” Ichigo glanced closer towards it and examined it, “W-what is this?” He then asked still gazing at it.
“This place is called Kioku,
Ichigo noticed the place was filled with flowers and had the scent of fresh air. It was the exact opposite of hell.
“Why is it called Kioku?” Ichigo then asked. Zangetsu then pushed Ichigo in the portal not answering his question.
Suddenly Ichigo felt his body falling in the sky, “WHAT THE HELL?!”
“Stop crying like a baby! Relax yourself!” Ichigo noticed Zangetsu slowing down as he got closer to the ground. Ichigo tried to calm himself down but he was getting nowhere, he was still speeding down towards the ground, “THIS ISN'T WORKING!!”
“Idiot! Concentrate or you'll die!”
Ichigo gulped at the words, “FINE!” He closed his eyes and relaxing himself, Body and mind.
He then felt less pressure from the wind and as he opened his eyes he noticed he was slowly landing on the ground, “H-hey…! I did it!”
“Now…” Zangetsu walked to a little rock and sat on it. Ichigo glared at him, `H-he's RELAXING?!'
He felt a vain pop on his head. “What…Are…You…Doing?” Ichigo then asked holding his hands in a fist and clenching his teeth as he tried to ask calmly. He realized this calm way of asking isn't helping him at all.
“Don't worry too much…relax…we have to wait till the other portal opens up.” Ichigo looked at him confused, “What are you talking about now?”
“It's simple…”
“Right…”
“…I told you we have to take the longer way back to your world…but the good side to this all…you have no worries here,
Ichigo felt his eye twitch, “And…what's the bad news?”
“The portal can open at anytime…longest…I'd say a year…”
“A YEAR?!?!?!?!?!?!”

Aneko slowly opened her eyes to the sunlight, “Humm…?” She glanced around, remembering she was in her room. She then slowly got up. Her body ached, she felt like an old lady. “Man…I hate side affects.”
She managed to sit on the side of her bed, “…” She glanced at her clock and noticed it said 10:00 AM in the morning. “Ugh…” She ran her fingers through her hair and sighed getting up. She looked at herself in the mirror, “Wow…I look like crap
She had bed hair and her eyes had bags under them from lack of sleep plus she felt gross and sticky. She sighed, “Not a good way to start the morning…” She then glanced at her arm where the bandages were wrapped, “I guess…it doesn't kill as much as last night…
She put a sweater over her top and walked in the hall to the living room. She then heard light snoring from Karin's room and glanced in. Karin was still asleep and obviously didn't want to be woken up at the moment.
“Man…if dad sees her like this…ESPECIALLY at this time…he'll freak!” She then stopped from walking in and thought about her sentence. “On second thought…I guess she DOES need some more sleep…” She then thought with an evil smirk. It was always fun to see her and their father fight, considering Karin always won the argument.
As she walked in the living room she noticed the couch/bed Uryu was sleeping in was no longer a bed/couch but a just a single, lonely couch. The blankets were folded neatly on the table and, worst…he was gone.
“Huh…?!” She walked towards the couch a bit shocked that he just left, “…He's gone…?”
She sighed and sat on the couch, “Figures…I mean he does after all have other important things to do than just hang with me…”
She got up and headed towards the kitchen stove, “…” She then began to pull out cooking utensils to make her and Karin some breakfast, “Lets see…”
She opened the fridge and looked around to see what she could cook. “…” There were no eggs, milk, and bacon, not even left over food. All there was was vegetables. Aneko slammed the fridge door shut, pissed, “Damn it Dad!”
“Is everything ok…?”
“Huh…!?” Aneko glanced back at the entrance door and noticed Uryu was there with a bag of food, “U-Uryu…?!”
He walked in and placed the bag of food on the counter. Aneko went up to him, mostly to get a peek at the bag. “Uh…where were you?” She then asked, going through the bags.
He looked at her and smiled, “Sorry…I went to the store to buy us some breakfast…considering you don't really have anything to eat” He then said reminding her of the veggie-storage.
She sighed ashamed, “My dads an idiot…”
He smiled at her making her notice he had glasses, “U-uh…?! Y-you have glasses?”
He remembered and pushed them up, “Y-yeah…I saw them for sale.”
“Oh…! I guess you pretty much did everything on today's agenda for me!” Aneko then smiled, giggling at her joke.
“Yeah, guess so.” He then replied. “So shall we eat?” He then asked as he pulled out packaged food.
Aneko nodded, “Yep!”

They ate in front of the TV and watched the morning news.
Last nights storm cost the lives…of a family” The TV man then spoke. He stood in front of a building which was crushed to the ground.
“Police say that lighting must have struck the building causing it to collapse, though because it's unlikely, their investigating.
Aneko and Uryu both stopped eating and looked at the TV shocked.
“They say…a 10 month baby, a 54 year old mother and her 10 year old daughter died in the tragedy.” They then showed an image of the building and where it was.
Aneko dropped her chop sticks as she remember the building clearly. Uryu glanced at her shocked, “A-Aneko...!?”
“W-we…!” She felt her voice crack up.
We…? We what?” He then asked concerned.
She looked him in the eyes, making his widen by the look she gave off. “U-Uryu…! That was the building…the building that we fought by!”
He gave her a shocked expression once it all sank in, “What…?!”
She looked away and back at the TV, “We…we killed an innocent family…!”
The phone then rang making both Aneko and Uryu gaze their attention towards it. “…” They only stared at it as it rang.
“We should get that…” He then spoke softly. She reached towards it, as she did Uryu noticed her hand shaking, “Aneko…”
She grabbed it and placed it against her ear, “H-hello…” she then answered, softly.
“Hey! It's me!” Her father then yelled in his usual annoying voice.
She smiled weakly as she heard him, “H-hi…dad,
“Humm…? What the matter?” He then asked. His grew voice more serious. Aneko shook her head as tears rolled down her cheeks.
“Aneko…!? W-where's Ichigo?” He then asked now worried and in wonder of why his daughter was so upset.
Aneko wiped her tears; she tried to clear her throat, “I'm fine…! D-don't worry…” She then replied putting an act, “I just hurt myself while cooking!” She laughed, though Uryu could see tears streaming down her face once again.
“O-ok…! Well…I'll be home in an hour! Bye!” He then hug up, rushing, wanting to get home quickly. His voice sounded like he wasn't too convinced and Aneko knew that.
“…” She hung the phone up and looked at the ground. She didn't want to look at Uryu for she was ashamed.
“Aneko…” His voice was soft and kind, comforting to her. She felt her eyes meet his, “I…I'm sorry…”
He smiled at her sweetly, she was a bit shocked. She'd never seen him smile a lot towards her. He usually had a blank expression or a serious one.
“I know you're crying…because you feel like you've killed a family…but…why do you do this to yourself?” his voice was more serious. She raised an eyebrow, giving him a confused expression, it was innocent.
He then placed both his hands on her shoulders, “Why are you always blaming yourself for things that aren't your fault? You're only hurting yourself…someone…someone as sweet and caring as you…doesn't deserve that,
Her mouth opened slightly as she stared in his eyes, she felt shocked, confused, sad, and happy and so many emotions at once, she didn't know which one to express.
“Uryu…? I…”
He let go of her and sighed running his hands through his hair. He then glanced back at her with a smile, “What happened…it isn't your fault…in fact it had nothing to do with you.”
Aneko felt a smile grow as continued to tears flow down her cheeks, “Thank you…thank you Uryu…” She wiped her tears, still smiling at him, “You're right…I should stop blaming myself for things like this.”
He nodded and glanced back at the TV, “Besides…the Hollows are to blame for the damage” He then stated as he turned the TV off with the remote. Just as he placed it back down he felt something lean against his shoulder, “…?” He glanced to the side and noticed Aneko leaning herself against his shoulder, “U-uh…?!” His eyes winded from surprise, “A-Aneko…?!”
She felt a blush, but didn't care. To her he was a good friend; always there for her, always showing her the good side in things but most of all...he was a caring person. “Thank you,”
He felt her hands warp around his arm as those words came from her lips. A blush also showed on his cheeks, “Uh…” He didn't know what to say or do. He never had anyone lean on him, especially a girl. He felt his heart race for awhile but it soon relaxed as he too was starting to feel comfortable in the position. They both stayed leaning against each other for awhile, so it seemed. Aneko closed her eyes, and then heard deep breathing from Uryu. She glanced up and noticed he was asleep, “He's…asleep?” She smiled to herself as she watched him sleep. He looked so peaceful and calm; she thought it was kinda cute. Just as she hoped the moment would never end, a knock came from the door waking Uryu up and making Aneko remove herself from him.
“U-uh…! C-come in!” Aneko then shouted as she sat there stiff, her whole face covered in blood red.
Uryu took his glasses off and rubbed his sleepy eyes. He wasn't even aware of what was going on at the moment. Suddenly Orihime came in the house with a bouquet of flowers in her arms. Uryu and Aneko glanced at her a bit surprised.
“Uh…? Who are the flowers for?” Aneko then asked as she walked up to her. She smiled down at them with sadden eyes, “They're for…the family that was killed last night…”
The room then went silent for a moment. “That's very kind of you…” Uryu then spoke out as he walked towards them. She nodded and glanced at them both, “I figured…we could go and place them by their home…you know…” Aneko nodded, her eyes also showed sadness.
"I think that's a great idea..."

Like it? Good. Next chappie!!
