I do NOT own Bleach or the characters/places/things from it. I only own OC.
They then went to the building. It was mostly cleared out, but was left there for evidence or what-not.
Aneko, Uryu, Orihime and Karin glanced at the place. “How sad…” Orihime then spoke in a soft voice. Aneko glanced at Karin, she regretted taking her with them but she couldn't just leave her alone, “Karin…”
“I'm fine. Things like this happen all the time...right?” She then asked still gazing at the building. Aneko nodded, “Yeah…”
Orihime then knelt down and placed the flowers on the ground by the building, “…” They all stood there in silence as a cold wind blew. They watched the flowers move gracefully to the wind.
“Well…I guess that's all we can really do…” Uryu then spoke. Orihime got back up and took a few steps back.
“Excuse me…?”
Everyone glanced to the left of the broken down building and noticed a little girl standing by it, she was hiding behind a piece of the wall. She wore a night gown and had black hair in pig-tails.
She then slowly walked out, “H-hello…my name is Kari Isumi…” They noticed she had the chain of life on her chest…she was dead.
She walked to the flowers and smelled them, “These are beautiful…thank you for bringing them.”
Aneko looked at her shocked, “T-that…that means…!”
The little girl nodded and smiled, “Yes…my family died here…though…I don't really remember how it all happened…it took me awhile to realize it…but…”
They gave her a sympathetic look. Orihime then went to the girl and gave her a sweet and gentle smile, “Hi…my name is Orihime Inoue…and these are my friends…” She pointed to Aneko, “Aneko Kurosaki…” then at Uryu, “Uryu Ishida…” She then looked at Karin, “And this is Aneko's little sister…Karin Kurosaki,”
Kari smiled at them all and bowed, “It's nice to meet you all. Thank you for putting flowers for us…it means a lot to me and mama…”
Everyone glanced at her with sad eyes. There wasn't much they could do or say.
Orihime then nodded, “You're welcome,”
“Well…I must be off! Good bye!” She ran towards the building and disappeared into a light. Karin felt unwanted tears roll down her cheeks. She quickly wiped them away before anyone could notice, “Well…!” She then spoke and walked off. “…Lets go! Aneko you owe me some food!” She then yelled, acting as if it didn't really affect her.
“Yeah…” Aneko took one more look at the building and followed Karin who was a bit farther than them. Uryu and Orihime looked at each other and followed them.
They stopped at a restaurant. Sitting by the window Aneko watched the outside life and watched as people passed by. Uryu and Orihime sat on the other side.
Karin had a meal in front of her but it was untouched. It seemed as if some dark cloud had pondered over them. The waitress then passed by and noticed their gloomy faces, “Humm…? What's with you guys?” She then asked, placing their drinks down.
They all glanced at her, “Oh…n-nothing…just a rough day!” Uryu then replied pushing his glasses up.
“Oh…?” She looked at him interested in their story. Orihime then jumped in, “W-well…umm…you see…there was this thing…and it lead…to another…thing…which made…the thingy…and…uhh…” Orihime then lost track of what she was saying even though it wasn't making sense in the first place.
Aneko then sighed and patted Karin's head, “My sister…she lost at her soccer tournament…” Karin shot her a glare…a death glare. “W-what…?! I didn't…!”
Aneko then covered her mouth, “…Didn't…want to make such a scene from it…!” She then covered up. The waitress gave her a sympathetic look, “Oh…I'm sorry…here…how about I give you a free desert to make you feel better?”
Karin paused and gave Aneko a grin. Aneko noticed and gave her a suspicious look in return. “Ok…thank you so much! But…my sister is also upset…”
“Really…? Why is that?” The waitress then asked, now gazing her attention towards Aneko.
“Eh…?!” Aneko looked at her confused and froze, “U-uh…actually…!”
“Her boyfriend broke up with her!”
Aneko looked at Karin, her face grew pail. Uryu and Orihime couldn't believe the story Karin made up. They did, however, find it hilarious on how far those two got when fighting.
“Oh my goodness! That Jerk!” The waitress had an angry expression on.
'A-aren't I supposed to be the angry one?' Aneko gave her a nervous stare for the waitress was now roughly playing with the cups.
“I remember when my boyfriend broke up with me…!” She then sat next to Uryu. He quickly shoved over making Orihime shove herself against the wall. “…He told me I wasn't good enough for him! I was too needy! Too greedy and annoying for him!”
They all looked at her a bit scared as they watched her smash the glasses together harder and harder until they broke. “UH…?” She then broke out of her angry I hate my EX state and looked at the glass on the floor, “Oh my…I guess I should clean that up…well bye!” She then ran to the back of the counter and into the kitchen.
“What the hell was that?” Aneko then asked.
Karin began to laugh, pointing at Aneko, “Man…! That! Was! AWESOME!” She then yelled as tears of laughter showed in her eyes. Aneko glared at her sister and had the biggest urge to smack her but took a deep breath letting it pass.
“Umm…” Orihime then spoke out, “Shouldn't we…umm…you know…do something about Ichigo…he still isn't back, right?”
Aneko nodded and then glanced at Karin, “We'll drop you off…”
Karin gave her an upsetting look, “What?! But I wanna come!”
“Stop acting like a little baby! You know you can't come!” Karin then stopped whining and looked at her a bit shocked, “But…!”
Aneko sighed and placed her hand on her shoulder, “Karin…I need you to look after Yuzu for me…k?” Karin then slapped her hands away; this caught everyone's attention, being the customers and waiters.
“Whatever! Figures, you act like you know me! You think I'm weak and clueless on things!”
“Karin…!?”
Karin then got off her seat and ran out the restaurant. “Karin!” Aneko got up and chased after her. Uryu and Orihime followed.
Karin stopped half way through the street and looked back at Aneko. “Karin…! Come here!”
“No!”
“Karin, listen to me!”
“Why?! I'll walk home on my own!”
Aneko then felt her blood boil; she was losing patience with Karin, “Idiot! Get the hell off the street!” Karin glanced at her for a second and ran off.
“K-Karin, wait! I…!” Once she was out of sight Aneko sighed and looked at the ground. Uryu and Orihime walked up to her. “I'm such a horrible person…and sister…”
“No…you just worry for her sake,” Orihime then replied comfortingly.
“Of course…you tend to show it…in…well…not the best way,” Uryu then stated as he fixed his glasses.
She glanced at them and sighed, “Thanks, Uryu…” She then replied sarcastically.
“Anyways…we should really focus on Ichigo,” Orihime then spoke, “I'm sure if you talk to Karin once he's back, it'll be fine. It will give her and you a chance to cool off,”
Aneko nodded, “Right, I'll talk to Karin later…right now I have another sibling to handle,”
They then walked to the Urahara Shop to talk to Kisuke about the whole situation. Once they reached it they noticed, as usual, Tessai sweeping the ground with a broom. He glanced at them and walked up to them, “Ah, it's good to see you kids again!” He then announced.
Orihime nodded smiling, “Yes, it's good to see you too!”
“So what can I do for you?”
“We'd like to speak to Kisuke…is he here?” Aneko then asked looking around. He wasn't in site.
“I'm afraid he went to do some business and won't be back till later,”
“I see…”
He noticed the disappointment in their eyes. “Is there something the matter?”
“We need to talk to him about something important that came up,” Uryu then replied.
“I see…well if you'd like you're all welcome to stay and wait for his return.”
“Thank you,”
Uryu and Orihime sat on the opposite side of Aneko.
“…” Tessai then walked in the room with a platter of tea for them. He placed them in the middle and sat next to Aneko. “So tell me…where's the young hero?” He then questioned.
Aneko grabbed her tea and blew on it to cool it down, “Well…that's what we came here for,” She placed it down, “Last night we faced two massive hollows…”
He looked at them shocked, “Two massive hollows, you say?” They nodded.
“Ichigo defeated them both…but was then sucked into a back hole…” Orihime then continued.
“That's awful!” Tessa then replied in disbelief. Uryu nodded, “Right…which is why we need to make sure the idiot got out ok…but we need Master Kisuke's help,”
“I see…looks like you kids have been through a lot in one night…” He then stated.
“I guess you can say that…” Uryu replied glancing at Aneko, “Aneko…maybe you can take the time to even ask Kisuke if he can help you with your weapon,” Uryu then suggested. She looked up at him confused, “Humm…?”
He pushed his glasses up, “I just figured you can ask Kisuke if he can help you with your spiritual powers…”
“Why…? What's wrong with my powers?” She then asked getting a bit offended.
“N-nothing! I'm just saying!” He then replied. He shook his hands in a motion showing Aneko he wasn't serious, or at least trying. “Hum…” She gave him a glare, “You think I'm weak, don't you?” She asked sudden.
“No, that's not what I meant at all!” He replied defending himself.
“Sure…you probably think like Ichigo does!”
“What?! Never! Don't put me in the same shoes as him!” He then yelled, now getting offended himself. Orihime and Tessai watched helplessly as they both argued.
“Jerk! You're the one who started this!” Aneko then yelled.
“Me?! All I even did was suggest something! SUGGEST!” He then countered, yelling back.
“Well, if you're gonna SUGGEST something then SUGGEST it in your head!”
“W-what!? That makes no sense!”
“Stop acting like a smart ass!” She then yelled getting up. Uryu got up as well; they both faced each other with anger in their eyes.
“How am I acting smart?! It's called common sense!”
“STOP IT!”
“Stop what?!”
“THAT!”
“THAT WHAT?!?!”
“Acting smart!”
“How am I acting smart!?”
Orihime then got up and stood in between them both, “O-ok! Come on you two…!”
Aneko and Uryu looked at each other and sighed. They realized how childish and foolish they both were acting; it was stress from the lack of sleep they've been getting.
“Yeah…sorry…” Uryu then apologized.
Aneko looked at him shocked, only to remember he was Uryu after all. He was much more mature and grown up then Ichigo. She had completely forgotten that, it must have been from arguing with Ichigo too much over the years.
Kisuke then entered the shop, “I thought I might find you guys here!” Everyone glanced at him.
“Master Kisuke!”
“Boss!”
He entered the room along with Chad behind him, “Chad? What are you doing with him?” Uryu then asked.
Kisuke walked over to them and took a seat next to Tessai, “I need to talk to you guys…it's something important.” Suddenly, all eyes were on him.
