A/N: yea as you can see I took the 1st episodes name for my title :P

“...That day... 8 years ago, my life changed, ” He said to himself, he brought the memory of how he met Rukia and become a Death God and leaned against the trunk of the tree.
Ichigo layed in bed in his darkened room, he looked out the window and stared into the moon. A death butterfly flew across his window, he opens is eyes widely. Ichigo gets up quickly as a person mysteriously came through his room. He stares at the person.
“What the hell are you doing here?” asked Ichigo in a confused tone, the person grabbed the end of their sword.
Ichigo crawled up against his wall, “Put that thing away! Your not slicing me up!” the person jumped off the desk and onto the floor.
“Hey!” Ichigo yelled at the person
“It's getting closer” she thought with a serious face. “I feel it,” Ichigo gets up and kicks the person on the back sending her flying forward.
“Who are you and what do you want?!” yelled Ichigo, the person layed their with her butt in the air. The lights turned on, “If you think your a burglar, your not a very good one!” Ichigo pointed at her. She layed there with a confused expression on her face. She turned around and looked at Ichigo with the confused expression.
“You...kicked me...but I can't be seen by ordinary humans, are you saying you can see me?”
“Well considering that was my foot I planted in your back, you tell me.” he said annoyingly
“How strange,” She grabs his jaw and moves his head around, “You look normal but you must be defective in someway.”
He smacked her arm away from him and got in her face, “Ill show you defective!” he kicked towards her and the girl jumped and planted her right foot on Ichigo's leg and jumped and used his head to push off. Ichigo went stumbling forward. He put his hands on the floor and used it to support him and turned his head to the girl.
“Who are you?” he growled angerly
“You want to know?” she looked over her shoulder to Ichigo, “Then ill tell you, ...I'm a soul reaper.” He got up and sat down with his legs sitting Indian style and crossed his arms.
“All right so your something called a Soul Reaper?” she nodded, “And your telling me that you were sent here on mission by some thing called the Soul Society,” she nodded again, “To deal with demons?” she nodded once more, “Thats all believable to me,” he smiled and looked with his eyes closed, “ Along with flying pigs and the tooth fairy!”
“How dare you, why wouldn't you believe in Soul Reaper's when you just admitted you can see spirits!” she spat at him
He put his hands in his pockets, “Ive never seen or heard of Soul Reapers before and frankly your whole story is to incredible, I just don't believe in anything I can't see.”
She got up off her knees, “Well you see me don't you” she gave him attitude
He looked down with his eyes closed with his hands still in his pockets, “ Well thats true, I'd agree with the fact that your not human... so why don't you go play your Soul Reaper game some wheres else.” he put his and on top of the girls head, “Alright lil brat?”
She smiled, “I'm a brat am I?” she said smiling, she put two fingers on Ichigo's chest, “Bokudo number one...Sai!” she made cut across the air with her right arm and Ichigo fell to the floor on his knees.
“I can't move! What did you do to me?!” yelled Ichigo angerly
“Sai,” she said smiling, “ It paralyzes the target's muscles,” Ichigo struggled to get out of the spell, “It's useless your only wasting your strength.” she grinned, “I may be appear young to you, I have lived nearly as 10 of your life times.”
“I would kill you on the spot if it wasn't against my orders!” she said violently, “You got nerve” said Ichigo still struggling.
“Now ill explain to you why I am here, and ill use small words for you to understand it” she reached inside her black and white robe. Ichigo stared at he wondering what she was going to pull out of her robe, she pulled out a sketch book, “There are two types of spirits in this world, the first kind are normal spirits,The second are called Hollows which feed off the living or dead to devour their souls.” There was a sketch of both of a bad looking bear with what looked liked thunder around it, the other was a happy bear that had hearts all over the place.
“Any questions before I move on? She asked Ichigo
“First of all, why your drawing suck so bad?” he said plainly, she walked over to Ichigo and keeled down and took out a marker and drew two mustaches under Ichigo's nose.
“Gwaaaaa!” Ichigo squiggled around, “You'll pay for that!” she tossed her pen up and down several times.
“What was that?!” asked Ichigo
“A Hollow.” she said calmly
“Then what are you doing seating here?! Go and kill it!”
She looked down, “ I would but i can't seem to detect it's location.” Ichigo interrupted her, “Can't you hear that?! Theres something howling out there!”
“Something howling? What do you mean?” she asked confusingly, then she heard it, something howling in a distance. She got up quickly and ran out the door. Ichigo can hear things crashing downstairs, and then she heard Yuzu scream.
“Hey wait! Untie me god damn it!”
She ran out the door and was repelled back from the massive spirit force, “if this spirit force was this massive...how could of I not notice it!” she heard a voice coming from her side, “Ichigo,” she was using the wall for support to walk and then fell in front of Ichigo's door. Yuzu pushed herself up from the floor with barley any strength.
“Ichigo...Karin is-,” Yuzu fatigued passed out. The girl jumped down the stairs while Ichigo got up with his hands still held together from the spell. The girl stopped at the living room where there was a big hole which she can see the Hollow holding a child. She pulled out her Soul Slayer and Ichigo fell down from the stairs next to her.
“Karin!,” yelled out Ichigo helplessly.
“Stay out of it!” yelled the Girl, Ichigo ignored her and lifted him self up. “Damn it!” yelled Ichigo he broke the spell witch the girl put on him. He ran towards the Hollow witch held Karin, he picked up a chair and ran towards it and jumped. The Hallow swung is fist and it hit Ichigo sending him flying across the street. The Hallow looked at Ichigo.
“I found you!” he said excitedly, he extended his arm to grab Ichigo and the girl flew towards the Hollow and cut it's arm. The Hollow screamed as blood came pouring out of the gash she left on him and let go of Ichigo's sister and disappeared into another dimension. Ichigo slid and caught her.
“Karin!” yelled Ichigo
“Shes alright, the Hollow left to it's dimension without devouring any of your sisters.”
“The Hollows are after you because of your high spirit power you have,” , she said, “Because of me? Yuzu and Karin were put in danger cause of me?” thought Ichigo
“Here it comes again,” the girl got ready for the attack ,”Huh? Ichigo ran in front of the Hallow.
“If it's my soul you want come and get it!” yelled Ichigo, the Hallow dove it's head towards Ichigo. Ichigo closed his eyes and embraced himself and then there was total silence with the sound of blood spilling. Ichigo opened his eyes. The girl was standing there with the Hallow's teeth in her shoulder. She repelled the Hallow's attack and broke it's teeth with her sword. The hallo stepped back in pain. The girl got on her knees with blood uprising from her and fell face forward.
“Soul Reaper!” she got up and crawled over to the telephone pole and leaned on it.
“I'm to injured to fight... Do...you... want to save your family?
“Of course I do!”
“It will only be temporary...but.. you will have to become a Soul Reaper your self!”
“Wha?”
“You must take my zanpakutō and run it through the center of your being, so that i may pour my powers into you,” she said wearily, “I can't guarantee you will live but if it doesn't work it wont matter.” The Hallow was getting restless and started to walk over to the girl and Ichigo.
“Then give that blade Soul Reaper.” said Ichigo courageously
“My name is Rukia...Kuchiki Rukia.” she said glaring at him
“And my name is... Kurosaki Ichigo!” He grasped the blade and thrursted the blade through his body and a explosion of spirit power unleashed from Ichigo.
“And thats how I met Rukia and got my powers,” he thought to himself
“Eh?” Ichigo looked up to see Rukia staring down on him, “My, my you have gotten fast,” smiled Ichigo
Rukia who was still staring at Ichigo closed her eyes and balled up her fists, “Is that supposed to be your excuse for skipping out on the meeting?!” Rukia socked him the head to where it was hard enough to bury his face in the dirt.
“Ow ow ow ow, was it really that bad I skipped one meeting?” he said whimpering and padding the back of his head.
“As a captain of the 9th squad you must really take the responsibility of being a captain of your squad” she said scolding Ichigo while waving her finger in the air.
“Bitch,I only took it because you were short on captains and you were desperate and asked me too become one” muttered Ichigo under his breath
“What was that?!” she yelled at Ichigo, “Don' think i can't hear you!”
“Nothing, nothing” said Ichigo while shaking his hands denying that he said something about her.
“Well it's time to go back.” she said with a boring face
“I don't wanna,” Ichigo rejected, that was it Rukia had it with him and grabbed him the ear and dragged him all the way back to Seireitei, while saying that he was a big baby.
