A New Destiny

 

It's been 20 years & 4 months since Kari was first born a lot has happened to the little girl in this time. Her mother had died 3 years ago & she was getting around her grief & hadn't been to school that much. Clow didn't really think that she was over her mother either, so if she was not ready to go back to school then he wouldn't push her to go. She was very intelligent anyways.
She had talked to her parents about things that were way above her age level & was moved up three grades in school, which made her mother & father very proud.
Clow had finished all of the cards & was teaching her to use them in a very effective way. He had helped her only a little & she took off on her own. Just as he had expected she was very powerful indeed & a shocking revelation was found about her when she was younger. Her power was so strong that she was immortal. So she would live longer than her father for in his visions he had seen the exact month, day, time & year he would die. He had felt sorry for Kari because she hadn't even gotten over her mother & in just a few months she would lose him too. It was all to much for Clow. He wanted to go be with his wife, but also he wanted to be with his daughter whom he had cared so much for & wouldn't want to leave her alone for the world to chew up & spit out.
Many many things had changed on earth as well. A rebellious group called the Negaverse had come & started war between the earth & moon. No one was trusted from the moon as lies were told about them to the earth people & their Prince Kari's God Father Darien. His parents had also died which left him ruler of the planet. He didn't believe a single word said to him against the moon by Beryl. Beryl had worked in the palace with Kazumi. She was super jealous when Kazumi was head of the directing in the palace. She got to see Darien all the time, whom Beryl claimed as her own & vowed no other woman would marry him except her. That was not to be, for in about a month Princess Serena would marry Prince Darien. Beryl was secretly planning to kill the princess so she could have him to herself. What Clow was really worried about was how much people hated anyone who could use magic sorcerer's & sorceresses which was exactly what him & Kari were. He had heard from some friends that the people of earth had killed over 50 people who could use magic all across their continent just because they thought they were evil & came from the Negaverse. The prince & princess had told Clow that they would protect Kari & him from harm & the Sailor Scouts vowed the exact same thing to protect the little girl & her father.
Right now all Clow had to worry about was telling his daughter that he was going to die soon.

"Yue...Yue where are you. I want to speak with you?! "

"Yes Mistress Kari?!" "

"Oh Yue there you are. Come with me I want to speak with you in privet please".

"Yes my mistress". Kari swooped around to face him

"Please don't call me that, Kari is fine we're friends, equals, & mistress doesn't fit me anyways"!

She said as they approached her bedroom door

"Yes Kari" then he stopped when he saw where they were going

"What's wrong Yue"?

"Miss- I mean Kari. I can't go into your room without permission"! "You do have permission from me it's my room"!

"I meant your father's permission".
"You don't need my fathers permission Yue. It's my room I make the rules here & I don't want to speak to you anywhere else where Kero-Chan can hear me. Now come on I have a lot to talk to you about"!

"That Clow Reed is going to pay for this. How dare he disobey the rules of magic & then have a baby. How old is she now"?! A man with a short beard asked the man standing in front of him

 

"My sources say she's 20 going on 21 in a few days". Awnsered the man

 

"How shall you get rid of him then & get the daughter"?

"I think I have the perfect plan, but with the commotion of the Negaverse it will take a while to execute the plan mayby even a month or two".

 

"Fine I don't care how long it takes just as long as it's done within this year".

 

"Very well, but what would we want with the daughter my grace"?

 

The old man got a wicked grin & said in a matter-of-factly voice "we have to survive & to do so we need her womb".

The other man gave him a confused look as a reply "You see Li-sama she posses a great power beyond your wildest dreams. If we breed her to a powerful person in the family we will be able to protect ourselves from the people who kill people like ourselves & maybe even control the earth altogether".

"Now I understand, but a baby needs time to grow & develop".

"That's where our magic & his come in handy. He has these cards that he created. We will speed up the process of each baby that she conceives with our magic and..."

 

"And use them to our advantage that's brilliant my lord"! the man said no longer confused at his leaders idea.

 

"Exactly Li that's why it doesn't matter how long it takes to get her just as long as it's done"!

[back at Clows house]

Yue & Kari had been talking for about 2 hrs on her father & why he was acting so strange all of a sudden

"I hope nothings wrong, anyways I was hoping...well you know all the commotion going on & the people of earth are killing people that have magical powers"? Kari said it in a worried tone

"Yes but you'll be fine you have everyone to protect you".

 

"Sure but, I want-I want to get married, &, I trust noone but you to be my husband Yue".

"What"!! Yue didn't know what to say. He had gotten a little close to Kari but he didn't expect to be asked to marry his masters' daughter.

 

"Oh come on I know you love me. I'm not clueless ya know & I, well I really love you too Yue. I have no one else please do this for me". Kari pleaded sweetly & Yue couldn't resist her

he had been feeling this way around her for along time & finally she wanted him to be apart of her destiny.
