Ryuuichii-san...

Kamira groaned a little and rolled over in her sleep.

Ryuuichii-san... it is I... RainbowKeromon...

Kamira suddenly opened her eyes to see that she was in the strange, misty-blue Digiworld that she dreamed about the past winter. "Where...?" She then realized that the colour of the mist was the same as that of her NeoCrest, and she looked down at it.


Ryouumon appeared before her. "Ryouumon...? How did we get here?"

The cabbitlike Digimon said nothing, and started glowing with a white light. He changed forms to resemble some kind of a dragon, with his same head and a heart-shaped crystal in the middle of the white furry mass on his chest. Multicoloured wings sprouted from his back.

Kamira started in awe at the beautiful digimon. "I... I've seen you somewhere before..." The digimon hovered low to the ground, as if it offered to give her a ride. She climbed onto its back without hesitation.

This seems so familiar... why do I feel like I'm so familiar with this digimon...? she thought to herself as they soared through the air. She then remembered that Ryouumon had been standing in its place before it started glowing. Maybe this is another one of Ryouumon's forms... She then spoke up. "Pardon me... but you wouldn't happen to be one of Ryouumon's forms... would you?"

All will be revealed to you shortly... The digimon then landed in what appeared to be a desert. There seemed to be something very strange about it, aside from the pure white sand.

"This is very strange... where are we...?" Kamira asked.

This is your dream world, Ryuuichii-san... this is where your next battle will be fought... The digimon seemed to be communicating with her telepathically, rather than speaking. It's 'voice' was rather low and angelic.

Next battle is right, RainbowKeromon... a different voice echoed in the area.

"Nani? What's... going on?" Kamira asked, backing up against the digimon. RainbowKeromon... why do I feel like I remember this name? Kamira's head snapped around to see that another digimon had appeared. It appeared to have the head and wings of a black eagle, but a very muscular body, like a smaller Garudamon. In its clenched fist was a great sword.

Tengumon... what are you doing here, if you don't mind me asking? RainbowKeromon asked the digimon.

Lord Armageddomon has sent me to invade this girl's dreams... and while we're in the area of battle, I figured that now would be as good a time as ever to fight! Tengumon said, raising his sword.

Fine then... if you wish to do battle with me, you will surely lose... RainbowKeromon said. He looked behind him to Kamira. Stay back. This won't take long.

Kamira looked at her companion and slowly nodded as the two of them began fighting. Tengumon seemed to be no match for RainbowKeromon until...

Lightning Blade! Tengumon thrust his sword down on RainbowKeromon, who just barely dodged. The sword jabbed into the digimon's delicate wing, and he hit the ground hard.

How do you like THAT, RainbowKeromon? Tengumon asked.

RainbowKeromon groaned, hovering back up. It will take more than that to defeat me, Tengumon... The crystal heart in the middle of his chest began glowing brightly. Celestial Heartache! It shot out a wide beam of energy, engulfing Tengumon for about four seconds.

The Mega digimon fell to one knee, and was badly scratched. He then smirked, then disappeared into thin air.

Kamira approached RainbowKeromon, concerned. "Are you... alright?" she asked.

I'm fine, Ryuuichii-san... A dark shadow appeared behind Kamira as she gently touched the damaged wing. RainbowKeromon's eyes grew dark. Get out of the way! he said, using his tail to shove her away, just as a bright sword was about to come down on her.



"Kamira-chan? Kamira-chan! Wake up!!" the tiny cabbit digimon said frantically, shaking his partner by the shoulder.

"What's wrong, Ryouumon?" Galaxiamon asked, approaching them.

"Kamira-chan's not waking up..." Ryouumon said, his black eyes beginning to water.

Suddenly, Kamira's eyes squeezed shut, her face seemingly etched with pain.

Ryouumon began to panic. "Kamira-chan!! Please wake up so you can tell me what's wrong!!"

"Ryouumon, you stay here with her. I'm going to go get the others!" Galaxiamon said, running off.

A tear trickled down Ryouumon's furry cheek. "Please wake up..."



Kamira's arm fell from in front of her eyes to see RainbowKeromon hovering before her, a bright red light shining from the crystal heart on his chest. Tengumon had been blown back several feet, his sword protruding from the ground way back behind him.

This is... impossible... Tengumon growled. He fell to his knee, greatly weakened.

RainbowKeromon turned to Kamira. Are you alright?

Kamira brushed the dirt from her skirt. "I'm fine... what just happened? One second I'm about to be impaled by a sword, and the next I see this bright red light..."

Oh, that... well, I suppose when I pushed you out of the way... I can't explain it. Tengumon is now too weak to fight... RainbowKeromon looked to his fallen opponent, who was beginning to dissolve.

I'll get you yet, RainbowKeromon... Tengumon cursed, as he was slowly deleted.

Kamira stood up. What's going to happen now...? she thought. Then, it hit her. She remembered the dream she had earlier that year, when a mystic Digimon had taken her around the Digital World. "RainbowKeromon! I... I remember now..."

Oh? the Digimon asked, looking back to the blue-haired girl.

"I saw you in another dream... you told me about the evil that's plaguing the Digiworld..." Kamira's green eyes began to tear.

RainbowKeromon nodded and smiled at her. You have a good memory, Ryuuichii-san. But I'm afraid it's time for you to re-join your friends...

Kamira nodded, smiling back. "I understand..."

The digimon once again hovered near to the ground, allowing her to climb on his back. She did so, again not hesitating. RainbowKeromon took off into the sky again.

Upon landing in the misty-blue area she appeared in, Kamira climbed off of his back. "Will I see you again?" she asked.

That is a question I cannot answer yet. There are still many mysteries yet to be solved about the Digital World. Perhaps, in time, we will meet again. Until then, I wish the best of luck to you and your friends... He smiled, then began flapping his wings and releasing a shimmery dust upon Kamira.

She closed her eyes and took a deep breath, allowing the dust to come to rest on her body. Then, everything went white.



Kamira slowly opened her eyes to find eleven concerned faces surrounding her. She yawned, blinking her eyes open. "Konnichiwa, minna-san.. what are you all doing here?" she asked.

Everyone let out a sigh of relief. Ryouumon, seeming to come out of nowhere, hopped up on his partner's chest and began nuzzling her face. "I thought you'd never wake up, Kamira-chan!" the fuzzy creature said.

Kamira stroked her partner's fur and sat up in the bed that she hadn't known she had been in. "Tell me... what happened?"

"We don't know.. everyone was tired after that last battle we had, so we all slept for a while. You slept longer than any of us, we thought you were in a coma or something," Heza explained.

"You were really out of it too," Koushirou said. "not even Galaxiamon could wake you up." He semi-consciously reached over and brushed a few navy hairs out of her face.

Kamira's face turned a little pink, and she looked down guiltily. "Gomen nasai, minna... I'm sorry for making you worry."

"It's alright, Kamira-chan... you're awake now, that's what matters," Sora said, smiling.

Kamira then remembered something. "Oh my! I didn't miss that big discussion with Gennai, did I?!" she frantically asked.

Taichi sweatdropped, leaning on a chair. "Iie. You prolly would have if you'd have slept any longer..."

"Speaking of me, here I am," a sudden voice said. Gennai shoved in between Taichi and Sora. "Good to see that you're awake, Ryuuichii-san, but I'm afraid we have more important things to discuss for the time being. Take out your Digi Cards." The old man patiently waited as everyone dug for their cards and took them out. "Okay. Now that all twelve Digi Cards are found, Armageddomon's power is beginning to weaken. However, it's nowhere near enough for him to be destroyed, an ancient power needs to be released in order to defeat him."

"Let me guess, the Great Circle of Unity?" Sakura asked.

"Close. On the other side of Spiral Mountain, in the Blue Arctic, is a small temple-like structure. This is the Temple of the Meius, and is the key to releasing the power of the Meius. Your NeoCrests and Digi Cards are linked to this temple, as there are twelve statues, one for each Meiu or in this case, one for each of you. You must use your Digi Cards to awaken the Meius and release their power. Only then will you be able to defeat Armageddomon."

"So all we gotta do is go to some temple in the middle of a frozen wasteland, wake up the Meius with our Digi Cards, defeat Armageddomon, come back, and rejoice knowing that we saved two worlds once again? Fun," Mimi said.

"That's pretty much it," Gennai said.

Heza groaned. "Great, more fun in the Winter Wonderland..." she muttered. Everyone laughed.

"This is really no laughing matter," Gennai said, "but I guess I can't even stop that. Now go on, get out of here before I have to use force. I warn you, there will be many obstacles you will have to face, such as ... doo-hickeys. Oh, and bring me back some sno-cones."



A while later, the twelve teens stampeded through the Blue Arctic on the backs of various Digimon. A few were piled on the back of PharaohGreymon, a few on Skydramon, a few on Kabuterimon. Sakura and Syaoran rode on the back of PsychoShiramon, with Kagemon flying by their side, and Yamato and Heza were on ArcticGarurumon.

"Taaaaaaaichiiiiiii!" Heza whined. "HOW much LONGER is it gonna TAKE for us to GET there?! I'm FREEZING my ASS off!"

"I dunno, but I think we're getting close!" Taichi shouted as he looked forward, the flying snow limiting his field of vision. The snow cleared very slightly, as a small pagoda came into view. "What's that?"

Koushirou popped open his laptop and scanned the area, zooming in on the pagoda. "Looks kind of like a stage... it has twelve statues around it. I think this is it, minna!"

Upon approaching the pagoda, the digimon used for transportation reverted to their Rookie stages, leaving them to wade in knee-deep snow.

Sakura began sensing a strage power coming from this pagoda. "Strange..." she muttered.

Syaoran came up behind her, placing a hand on her shoulder. "This is definetely it, Sakura-chan... I'm getting some really strong vibes just from being here," he said.

Taichi err.. slowly made his way through the snow, stepping up onto the pagoda. At once, his NeoCrest began glowing.

In the center of the pagoda was a small twelve-sided platform, each side parallel to its respective statue. Taichi stepped up to the platform, noticing that there were twelve card-shaped slots with a symbol in them that resembled the Crests. He brushed away a bit of snow, looking at the orange symbol that lay in the middle of one of the slots.

Koushirou was browsing over the statues, noticing that one looked distinctly like him, only with KingKabuterimon's wings, claws, and antennae. He let out a low whistle. "Pretty spiffy."

"Okay, so now that we're here, what do we do now?" Yamato asked. "How can we just unlock these powers?"

Taichi took out the Sun-Digi Card. He looked at it, then the slot, and placed the card inside it, motioning for everyone else to do the same. When that was done, he took the hand of the two on either side of him (Yama and Syaoran. No, yaoi is NOT being implied here, though you can think that if you want :P). Catching on, the rest of them joined hands, forming a large circle.


At Camp Kayomata...

Poora suddenly collapsed against the cabin wall, holding her head in pain. "Itai!!"

Nesu, Jefu, and Puu were immediately at her side. "Poora-chan, what's wrong?!" Nesu asked.

Poora slowly opened her eyes, her head still throbbing with pain. "It's... Taichi and the others... they've... found the Temple of the Meius... but their enemy is growing stronger..."

"Oh my oh my oh my..." Jefu said, popping his own laptop open. He tapped in a few commands, bringing up a video program. "Poora-chan, are you seeing what's happening right now?" he asked.

The blonde-haired girl slowly nodded, leaning against Nesu for support.

Jefu thought for a moment. "Perhaps I can hook up my laptop to Poora, so she can transfer her brain waves into the computer's memory and show the rest of us what's going on..."

"How long will that take? We don't know how long Poora-chan will be able to see what's happening!" Puu said.

"It's worth a try, I really am kinda worried about those guys..." Nesu said.

"Iie... they're not in trouble... they just need our help to... activate the power of the Meius..." Poora said, attempting to ignore the shooting pain in her head.

"How can we do that? They're in a completely different world!" Jefu said.

"By praying, Jefu-kun... that's how we did it last time... and out PSI powers can add to it..." Poora said. Still shaking off the headache, she sat down in the middle of the floor, cross-legged. After the three boys sat down (yes, they ARE in a circle), Poora closed her eyes and began to focus her PSI powers into activating the Meius. Nesu and Puu did the same, while Jefu concentrated on the same. Again, the four of them began glowing with different auras.



All of a sudden, Taichi felt a power flooding into him. He closed his eyes and relaxed, so it could take its maximum effect.

The same thing happened to everyone else. When all had their eyes closed, the cards before them began glowing brightly. They then shot a beam out and into their NeoCrests, then seemed to continue on through their hearts and into the statues behind. The whole pagoda then began glowing with a white light, as a twelve-pointed star formed, connecting the statues. Lifeforms seemed to float out of the statues (which oddly resembled the Cards) and into each person. For a very brief moment, a vision of the statues coming to life appeared in everyone's minds.

The Digimon felt themselves growing stronger as a white light engulfed the area.



"I... I can see them... they're growing more powerful by the minute..." Poora was muttering as she rubbed her temples. "They're going to be able to Warp Digivolve soon..."

"Poora-chan, are you sure? It took a WHILE for Lunamon to Warp Digivolve last time..." Nesu said.

"Think about it for a minute, Nesu. For all we know, the Meius could be insanely powerful. Even a small boost of that kind of energy could trigger evolution..." Jefu said, tapping away on his laptop.

"That's not all... their enemy is growing more powerful as well... he's going to be a tough cookie. And for some reason... he seems familiar..." Poora said.

"I may be wrong, but I have a feeling that Armageddomon is a reincarnation of... what was his name?" Puu said, thinking.

Jefu pulled up a program, which showed a list of all of the Digimon seen in their trip to the Digital World. "Hmm.. maybe I can create a search engine from the date we have, and from that we can find out if a past Digimon is in Armageddomon's evolutionary line..." He typed in some more things. "Aha! Here we go..."

"What is it, Jefu?" Nesu asked, peering at the screen of the laptop.

"Okay, now I can search through lines of Digimon evolution, to see if there are any signs of Armageddomon in there..." He typed in something, and crossed his arms. "Now, all we do is wait..." Before long, a short list appeared on the screen. "Ah, okay. Fresh form is Taromon, then Nyikamon, Crocomon and... Chonchimon?!"

This caused everyone to crowd around Jefu. "Champion is Chonchimon, Ultimate is Metal Chonchimon, Mega is Dracomon, and Postmega is MagmaDracomon... OII, this is what I *least* expected!"

"You mean there's a level AFTER Postmega?" Poora asked.

"Apparently. MagmaDracomon somehow managed to survive the attack by MegamiGalaxiamon four years ago, and used the power from the attack to become more powerful. I'm guessing that he was also feeding from the power of the Digi Cards or whatever... Armageddomon is a Perfect stage Digimon... this is bad, really really BAD..."



The light then faded away, leaving twelve surprised teenagers standing in a circle.

"... What was that just now?" Heza asked, scratching her head.

"I dunno... but whatever it was, I hope it was what we had to do..." Taichi said, looking down at his card. He picked it up and looked at it. "I guess there's more to these cards than we thought."

Hikari blinked. "Oniichan... what happened to your NeoCrest?" she asked Taichi.

"Uh?" He took the orange pendant in his hand, to see that it had taken a different shape. "What in the...?"

This caused everyone else to look at their NeoCrests. "This is weird... they're all different!" Yamato said.

"But when and how did it happen?"

"I think it may have something to do with the Digi Cards..." Sakura said. She picked up her card and looked at the symbol in the slot that it had been laying in. "The NeoCrests have taken the shapes of the designs in these slots... and they've gained different meanings, too!"

"What?!" everyone else shouted at once.

"Taichi, your NeoCrest went from Courage to Bravery... Yamato, yours is Amity. Sora's is Passion, Koushirou's is Wisdom, Mimi's is Virtue, and Jyou's is Trust," Sakura said.

"Takeru's is Belief, Hikari's is Justice, and Heza's is Victory. Kamira's is Inspiration..." Syaoran said.

"Mine is Eternity..."

"And mine's Honour."

"Wow... so these cards not only made us feel really weird inside, but they changed the meanings of our NeoCrests?" Sora asked.

"Yeah... and I'm getting really strong vibes from these cards..." Sakura said.

All of a sudden, the ground started shaking, causing the hard stone foundation beneath them to come apart.

"Nani?! What's going on?!" Taichi shouted.

The fountation finally broke apart, sending all twelve statues tumbling to the snow-covered ground, as well as the DigiDestined and their Digimon. Out of the ruins of the pagoda, came a massive drill, on the end of what appeared to be a giant, armoured Drimogemon.

In the confusion, Koushirou somehow managed to pop open his laptop. "Ackackackack! Ok. That's GigaDrimogemon, a much more powerful form of Drimogemon, as well as its Mega form! We're going to have to give it everything we've got if we're gonna beat this one!"

Tentomon flew up to his partner. "Koushirou-ha.. I'm getting this really strage feeling... like I'll be able to Warp Digivolve!"

"Warp Digivolve?! Alright then, if you think you can, GO FOR IT! And the rest of you too!!"

"It's worth a try!" Taichi shouted.

"LET'S GO!" All of the Digimon shouted simultaneously.

"Agumon, warp digivolve to... WarGreymon!"
"Gabumon, warp digivolve to... MetalGarurumon!"
"Biyomon, warp digivolve to... Hououmon!"
"Tentomon, warp digivolve to... HerculesKabuterimon!"
"Palmon, warp digivolve to... Rosemon!"
"Gomamon, warp digivolve to... MarineAngemon!" (Note: --; I only found out recently that Gomamon's Mega was Plesiomon... :/ but I used MarineAngemon in IHC, and it'd be weird to have two different Mega forms... same for Patamon.)
"Patamon, warp digivolve to... Goddramon!"
"Tailmon, warp digivolve to... Holydramon!"
"Lunamon, warp digivolve to... MoonGalaxiamon!"

"YAT-TAA!!" Heza yelled, seeing all of the Mega digimon again. She turned to Ryouumon, Pseudomon, and Kagemon. "You guys can do it too! Don't be afraid."

The three Rookies looked at each other, then up at their partners, who were smiling down at them.

"Let's go for it then!" Ryouumon shouted.

"Ryouumon, warp digivolve to..."

Images of Keromon and RavenKeromon briefly flashed past. RavenKeromon's body grew long and slender, tearing out of the armour plating and fabric. His black feathered wings stripped themselves of the feathers, revealing two graceful scaled wings. His face drew out a bit longer to that of a dragon, the long furry ears and horn remaining as they were. His claws lost the serrated edges, becoming smooth and sharp. He let out a loud roar as his horn sparked with black lightning, which then formed a globe around him and filled the area.

"... DragonKeromon!"

"Pseudomon, warp digivolve to..."

Quick flashes of Shiramon and PsychoShiramon filled the area with cyan light, as PsychoShiramon's body grew out to be long and slender like DragonKeromon's. The short white-and-purple fur lining her body disappeared, revealing smooth pink skin. Her arms and legs also vanished, as well as her trademark floppy ears. In place of the ears, appeared two pink sakura blossoms, and from those sprouted two ribbonlike ears of many colours. Large butterfly wings folded out from her back, sporting the same colours as the ears. She hovered in the air, sakura petals swirling around her, then shooting out in every direction.

"... Psydramon!"

"Kagemon, warp digivolve to..."

Chimaeramon and CrystalChimaeramon's silhouettes briefly appeared, a bright turquoise glow filling the area. CrystalChimaeramon's body once again returned to its four-legged state, his hind legs, body, and head changing to that of a horse. His trademark horns disappeared, in their place appearing two purple Patamon-like ears. A blue-and-yellow armoured plate covered his head, his graceful blue wings growing long and slender, and his serpentlike tail gaining silver rings. A single golden horn (you can tell I like horns, eh? ;D) sprouted from his forehead, as black star-filled voids covered his wings. He gave a single flap of them, sending out hundred of tiny crystals in all directions.

"... Haruramon!"

Kamira, Sakura, and Syaoran stared in awe at the three Megas before them. "Sugoi..." Kamira muttered.

Koushirou approached them, holding his laptop. "You guys are in luck. DragonKeromon, Psydramon, and Haruramon are three very powerful Mega digimon. DragonKeromon, one of the four great dragon Digimon, uses energy from the night to power his attacks, which are Hurrican Scorcher and Eternal Nevermore. Psydramon, a powerful psychic digimon, can read minds and see the future! Her Rainbow Javelin and Sakura Psyclone attacks are extremely powerful. Haruramon is one of the most mysterious Digimon out there, and can use gemstones to his advantage in his Ides of Diamonds and Crystal Horn Drill attacks! Lucky lucky lucky."

"What are we doing, just floating around here?" DragonKeromon roared, noting that the other digimon had already begun their attacks. "Let's go!"

"Terra Force!"
"Ice Wolf Claw!"
"Starlight Explosion!"
"Mega Electro Shocker!"
"Thorn Whipping!"
"Ocean Love!"
"God Flame!"
"Fire Tornado!"
"Cosmic Spiral!"

DragonKeromon's mouth gaped open as a ball of black fire appeared in his mouth. "Hurricane SCORCHER!!" The fire left its point of origin in a stream of hot dark flames.

Shimmering sakura blossoms spiraled around Psydramon. Her fuschia eyes began glowing with several different colours. "Sakura Psyclone!" The sakuras rushed away from her dragonlike body, and exploded upon cotact with GigaDrimogemon.

Haruramon's royal blue wings began glowing with a black light, turning them into a starry void. "Ides of Diamonds!!" With a single flap of his wings, thousands of tiny crystals flew out of them, having pretty much the same effect as Psydramon's attack.

GigaDrimogemon, having no time to summon an attack, quickly dissolved as all of the attacks hit him.

The twelve Megas all dedigivolved to their In-Training forms, Holydramon reverting to Plotmon and MoonGalaxiamon to Lunamon.

"All RIIIIGHT!! We did it!!" Koromon shouted, hopping up on Taichi's head.

Before there was any more time to celebrate, Gennai appeared before them. "Well, it seems that you digimon have managed to make it to Mega level after all. However, you're going to have to be even stronger if you want to take out Armageddomon that easily."

"Lighten up Gennai, we managed to beat Kitusomon with hardly any problems, we can take Armageddomon too!" Taichi said, shrugging.

Kiyonimon spoke up. "You forget, Taichi... it was all of you original digimon plus me as MegamiGalaxiamon to beat her. I was at Postmega level back then, I don't know if I'll be able to reach that stage then... I think it was out of desperation, since Heza-chan got hurt so badly... It would have to happen like that again for me to do that, and I really don't want that kind of pressure..."

"Kiyonimon's right, Taichi. I would rather face all of the Dark Masters *combined* than see that happen to Heza-chan again..." Yamato said.

"We have three extra Megas, though! It'll be no problem!" Taichi argued.

"But MegamiGalaxiamon was more powerful than all of them combined! What more will three extra Megas do?! Your ego's getting almost as big as your hair."

"Take it back, Yamato!!" Taichi yelled, grabbing the collar of the blonde's shirt.

"Not until you stop being so overconfident!" Yamato shouted, doing the same to Taichi.

"Guys, stop!" Heza shouted.

"We really don't need this right now..." Sora said, sighing.

Taichi clenched his fist and raised it as if he were about to punch Yamato. Neither of them noticed Heza quickly walking up to them until she smacked the back of their heads.



"It is time... I am almost at maximum power... the DigiDestined will NEVER be able to stop me..." Armageddomon's voice echoed through the dark fortress.

Kyoto slowly raised his head, paining him to do so. His vision blurred slightly as the giant silver dragon came into view. "What... are you planning...?" he choked out.

"Nothing that concerns you, human..." Armageddomon slithered up to the boy's skinny boddy, which was again chained to the wall. "Just a little more time... and it will be all over for you, and the DigiDestined, and everyone in both worlds..." He ran a single sharp claw down Kyoto's jawline, making a very clean cut.

"You'll... never win... I have faith in Yakanori-san and the others. They WILL defeat you..." Kyoto said, coughing.

"Oh really? We'll just see about that..." Armageddomon said, backing off. He hovered in the air for a bit, before taking off through the roof.

Kyoto looked up at the large hole in the middle of the dark ceiling, then blacked out.



"So our NeoCrests have new meanings now?" Mimi asked, looking at the green pendant in her hands.

"Hai. Kinda weird, ne?" Jyou said.

"They've also gotten more powerful. With the power of your new NeoCrests and the Digi-Cards, the Meius can be released at will. But I must warn you, the final battle will be long and difficult. I would suggest having your digimon Warp Digivolve, and save the Meius as a last resort," Gennai said.

"Have no fear, Gennai. The twelve of us are pumped and ready to give Armageddomon a good pounding. Because we have... um... bravery!" Taichi said.

"Amity!" Yamato said, grinning.

"Passion!" Sora said.

"Wisdom!"

"Virtue!"

"Trust!"
