Title: 1st Year At Hogwarts

Note: All incantations would be in Japanese, except for the Chinese incantations and Hogwarts's spells. When the CCS gang communicated with each other, it will be in Japanese unless otherwise stated. By the way, the famous Li Clan had pictures of Clow Reed hanging on the walls. Surnames began first in Asia, while in Western countries they began last. This story will follow as closely as Harry Potter book five as possible. All CCS gang had turned thirteen during their stay at Eriol’s house. Serena and Travis remained fifteen. Sakura and Syaoran always talked using their mind-link when they are alone, so did Serena and Travis.
Summary: The CCS gang and SM gang will meet the HP gang on the train to Hogwarts.
Story: Li Syaoran and his cousin Li Meiling had gone back to Hong Kong for 3 days already. Before they went back, they taught Kinomoto Sakura how to fight in armed and unarmed combat. Sakura decided to train hard in magic, swordsmanship, and martial arts. Harry Potter and company would be in the 5th year, along with some of the new transfer students. Touya's sixth sense had returned to him since Sakura had become stronger. The Kinomoto men also knew everything about the cards and about Eriol Hiiragizawa and the fact that Fujitaka Kinomoto was half of the reincarnation of Clow Reed. The story will follow as closely to the Harry Potter Book 5 as possible. For those who did not read Sailor Moon Universal, Travis Watson was Serena’s younger twin. He was also Sailor Sol and Sailor New Moon. Serena was Sailor Sun and Darien was Sailor Earth.
At The Training Centre With The Wolf Pack Group…
“Are you certain we won’t get lost wandering around this forest with no guidance?” demanded Draco suspiciously, his grey eyes narrowing at Syaoran’s head. To Draco, the group seemed to be wandering aimlessly around the forest.
“You didn’t even try to follow the main path,” accused Blaise, as he glared at the back of Syaoran’s head. Syaoran ignored them while Meiling turned around angrily.
“Of course we won’t get lost! Syaoran had an excellent sense of direction, unlike you two!” snapped Meiling, her eyes flashing dangerously.
Syaoran turned around, “Keep quiet. Look over there at the trees! Did all of you see the group of erklings hiding among the trees? We have to attack them before they attacked us. Choose your own target and use the stunning spell on them.”
The group suddenly dashed out of their covers, pointed their wands at the group of erklings, and shouted the spell, “Stupefy!”
At The Group Of Terra…
“Are you really sure that we won’t get lost?” demanded Ron nervously, as he looked around the forest, “Everything looked the same to me.”
Xiao Min shook her head, “Don’t worry, we won’t get lost. Syaoran’s group had already found a group of erklings. Now, we will be heading towards a river that contains a kelpie. After overcoming the water demon, we’ll go back to the common room first before going for breakfast.”
“But we don’t have any bridle to put the Placement Charm,” exclaimed Hermione worriedly, “How do we overcome the kelpie?”
Xiao Min smiled and held up a bridle for everyone to see. “I've already placed a very strong Placement Charm on it. Everyone will take turns to get onto the kelpie’s back and put the bridle over its head. Let’s hurry to the river!”
A few minutes later, the group reached the river. “All of you wait here,” whispered Xiao Min softly, “I’ll show you how it’s done. When I have disappeared from view, wait for a few minutes before coming out. I’ll be nearby in case someone made a mistake.”
“Be careful, Xiao Min,” whispered Travis quietly.
Xiao Min smiled at him, “I’ll be fine! I am going to leave the bridle on the biggest rock. Remember to take the bridle.”
The black-headed girl walked towards the riverbank with a purposeful air. Suddenly, a horse with bulrushes mane appeared. Xiao Min approached the kelpie slowly and climbed onto its back. Before the kelpie could dive into the river, Xiao Min swiftly threw the bridle over its head. Immediately, the kelpie became docile. Xiao Min climbed down from the kelpie’s back before she took off the bridle. The kelpie quickly dived back into the river as Xiao Min put the bridle on the largest boulders.
One by one, the rest of Xiao Min’s group followed her lead and all overcame the water demon.
“Excellent work, everyone!” said Xiao Min happily, “Now, we’ll go back to the common room. The rest should have reached the common room already.”
At The Common Room…
“It’s a good thing that every bedroom had one bathroom,” muttered Meiling as she went upstairs to her room.
Draco and Blaise also went back to their room respectively to bathe and change into their school things.
‘Sakura, why don’t you bathe first? I still have some books to read,’ thought Syaoran as the couple entered their rooms. Sakura gave Syaoran a grateful look and a smile of thanks before searching for her school robes.
As Syaoran sat down on the chair to read, the two wolves flopped themselves on his feet and the two phoenixes perched on his shoulders.
A Few Minutes Later, At The Common Room…
Xiao Min ran up the stairs before turning around and addressed the others, “After bathing, go to the Great Hall for breakfast if you know the way. If you don’t, wait for everyone to come down.”
Without waiting for a reply, Xiao Min rushed to her room. The rest of her group went back to their rooms to bathe and changed their clothes into their school robes.
At 6.30 am, In The Great Hall…
At The Slytherin Table…
Xiao Min, with her two Slytherin friends and her cousin, sat at the Slytherin table alone since the rest of the Slytherins are still sleeping at this time. As usual, Xiao Min started to play with her food instead of eating them. Meiling frowned and took charge.
Knowing her cousin’s weakness, Meiling said in Japanese, “Food is meant to be eaten, not for you to play. A lot of humans and animals died everyday because of starvation. You should appreciate the food.”
Xiao Min looked at her wide-eyed, “But if I eat, won’t there be even lesser food for those animals and people?”
Before Meiling could answer to her cousin’s question, Draco spoke up, “Is that one of our new teacher that didn’t come yesterday? She’s quite early. Most of the teachers are still asleep.”
Meiling and Xiao Min turned towards the staff table and saw an elegant and beautiful woman sitting at there alone. She was watching them while she drank her tea calmly. Forgetting everything and everyone, Xiao Min jumped up from her seat and ran towards the woman. The woman stood up as Xiao Min threw herself into the woman’s arms to the astonishment of the two senior Slytherins.
At The Gryffindor Table…
Syaoran was staring at the staff table as all the Gyffindors and Tomoyo (Tomoyo joined them since nobody was awake yet) sat down.
“What’s wrong, Li? Why are you staring at the staff table?” asked Harry, puzzled.
“Nothing’s wrong,” said Syaoran in his usual emotionless tone of voice, as he sat down beside Sakura.
“I wonder which teacher she could be. Does anyone have any idea?” asked Hermione curiously.
“That’s Professor Yelan Li,” stated Syaoran quietly, as he watched his sister hugging their mother.
The three Gyffindors were stunned beyond words when they saw the drama unfolding in front of them.
Author Notes: I have change my writing format since a friend told me that my previous format is wrong. From now on, I will include the information of the monsters that the two groups had encountered.

The Erkling is an elfish creature which originated in the Black Forest in Germany. It is larger than a gnome (three feet high on average), with a pointed face and a high-pitched cackle that is particularly entrancing to children, whom it will attempt to lure away from their guardians and eat. Strict controls by the German Ministry of Magic, however, have reduced Erkling killings dramatically over the last centuries and the last known Erkling attack, upon the six-year-old wizard Bruno Schmidt, resulted in the death of the Erkling when Master Schmidt hit it very hard over the head with his father’s collapsible cauldron.

This British and Irish water demon can take various shapes, though it most often appears as a horse with bulrushes for a mane. Having lured the unwary onto its back, it will dive straight to the bottom of its river or lake and devour the rider, letting the entrails float to the surface. The correct means to overcome a kelpie is to get a bridle over its head with a Placement Charm, which renders it docile and unthreatening.
