Disclaimer: I do not own Cardcaptor Sakura, Harry Potter, or Sailor Moon.
Note: All incantations would be in Japanese, except for the Chinese incantations and Hogwarts's spells. When the CCS gang communicated with each other, it will be in Japanese unless otherwise stated. By the way, the famous Li Clan had pictures of Clow Reed hanging on the walls. Surnames began first in Asia, while in Western countries they began last. This story will follow as closely as Harry Potter book five as possible. All CCS gang had turned thirteen during their stay at Eriol’s house. Serena and Travis remained fifteen. Sakura and Syaoran always talked using their mind-link when they are alone, so did Serena and Travis.
Summary: The CCS gang and SM gang will meet the HP gang on the train to Hogwarts.
Story: Li Syaoran and his cousin Li Meiling had gone back to Hong Kong for 3 days already. Before they went back, they taught Kinomoto Sakura how to fight in armed and unarmed combat. Sakura decided to train hard in magic, swordsmanship, and martial arts. Harry Potter and company would be in the 5th year, along with some of the new transfer students. Touya's sixth sense had returned to him since Sakura had become stronger. The Kinomoto men also knew everything about the cards and about Eriol Hiiragizawa and the fact that Fujitaka Kinomoto was half of the reincarnation of Clow Reed. The story will follow as closely to the Harry Potter Book 5 as possible. For those who did not read Sailor Moon Universal, Travis Watson was Serena’s younger twin. He was also Sailor Sol and Sailor New Moon. Serena was Sailor Sun and Darien was Sailor Earth.
At The Great Hall, Staff Table…
“Mama, is it really you? I haven’t seen you for so long and yet you’re still as pretty as ever!” whispered Xiao Min happily. Happy tears were rolling down her cheeks as she talked and hugged her mother fiercely.
Yelan Li gently pushed her daughter away and shook her head slightly. Xiao Min understood immediately that she should not show so much emotion. She quickly wiped her tears away and bowed to Yelan. Before going back to the Slytherin table, she gave Yelan a small happy smile and received one in return.
Back At The Gryffindor Table…
“What the bloody hell just happened?” demanded Ron in a shrill voice. Hermione and Harry were stunned too. Their mouths opened and closed simultaneously, like fishes out of water. At the moment, Tomoyo was busy taping all the actions that were happening.
“It’s her way of greeting new teachers, I suppose,” stated Syaoran, as he continued to eat slowly, “You two might want to close your mouths. You looked like fishes that had gone out of water.”
‘Syaoran-kun, that isn’t polite,’ chided Sakura firmly.
Syaoran protested, ‘But it’s true, they do look like …’
‘Even so…’ thought Sakura unhappily.
‘Fine,’ thought Syaoran with a sigh, ‘Next time, I just ignored them.’
Sakura sighed too. She knew that that was the best she could expect from Syaoran.
Harry and Hermione blushed and closed their mouths immediately. Ron glared at Syaoran angrily, “Just exactly what is your problem, Li? Must you insult Hermione and Harry like that? The Sorting Hat should have put you in Slytherin by the way you are behaving.”
Ignoring Ron, Syaoran asked Harry, “When are we getting our time-table?”
Forgetting his embarrassment, Harry replied, “Professor McGonagall will give us the timetable when she comes. Don’t worry too much about it.”
Before Syaoran could reply, the door to the Great Hall slammed open. To Syaoran’s horror, four people that he did not want to see came running in. Immediately, Syaoran thought, ‘Sakura, used The Illusion on them.’
Sakura touched The Illusion and thought, ‘Illusion, onegai, don’t let Syaoran-kun’s four oldest sisters see us.’
At The Slytherin Table…
“Which professor is she? She looked more like a Muggle than a wizard,” stated Draco thoughtfully, as he stared at Yelan.
Xiao Min smiled slightly and said, “She’s Professor Yelan Li, the Eastern Magic professor. Unlike Professor Snape, she’s not bias at all. She treated everybody equally, not including extremely good students, though. She tends to be stricter with good students.”
Draco and Blaise had learnt a long time ago that it was much healthier not to ask Xiao Min where she got her information. They’d rather be ignorant than had their noses broken by her.
Meiling noticed the two boys’ behavior and smirked slightly. ‘I guess they’d been on the receiving end of Xiao Min’s temper before,’ thought Meiling, amused.
Meiling looked up as four newcomers entered the Great Hall. Smiling brightly, Meiling waved and called out loudly, “Fuutie, Feimei, Fanren, and Xiefa, over here!”
The four sisters stopped chatting and turned towards Meiling’s voice. They squeaked when they saw the girl beside Meiling and ran towards the two girls as fast as possible.
Xiao Min paled and whispered to Meiling, “Will you bring my timetable to me when you get them? I've to run from them if I want to survive.”
Draco and Blaise watched in amusement as Xiao Min jumped from her seat and ran out of the Great Hall as if demons were chasing after her. The Li sisters immediately gave chase.
At The Gryffindor Table…
‘Shouldn’t we help Min-chan? She seemed terrified,’ thought Sakura worriedly, as she stared at the door in which the five Li sisters had passed.
‘There’s no need,’ thought Syaoran dryly, ‘Xiao Min always know how to hide from them ever since we were children.’
A few minutes later, the Great Hall door opened again to admit other students and a few teachers. At this moment, Tomoyo decided to join her housemates at the Ravenclaw table. The Golden Trio watched intently as Professor Grubbly-Plank chat with the Astronomy teacher, Professor Sinistra. “Dumbledore didn’t even mention how long that Grubbly-Plank woman’s staying,” said Harry, miserable.
“Maybe…” said Hermione thoughtfully.
“What?” said both Harry and Ron together.
“Well… maybe he didn’t want to draw attention to Hagrid not being here,” said Hermione slowly.
Before anybody else spoke up, a tall black girl with long braided hair had marched up to Harry. “Harry, why aren’t you in Gryffindor’s common room? Never mind that. Listen, I've been made Gryffindor Quidditch Captain. We need a new Keeper now Oliver has left. Tryouts are on Friday at five o’clock and I want the whole team there, all right? Then we can see how the new person will fit in,” stated the girl in a rush.
Harry nodded his head and smiled, “Congratulations, Angelina. I’ll be there.”
Angelina smiled at him and departed. A few minutes after she left, the owl posts arrived. The owls descended all over the Hall, bringing not only letters and packages to their owners, but also droplets of water; it was clearly raining hard outside. Hermione had to move her orange juice aside quickly to make way for a large barn owl bearing a sodden Daily Prophet in its beak.
“Does this happen all the time?” questioned Sakura timidly. The sudden arrival of the owls had startled her.
Harry nodded his head, “It happens every morning. So, it’s better to get used to them soon.”
Sakura nodded her head as Hermione unfurled the newspaper and disappeared behind it. “There’s nothing about you or Dumbledore or anything,” stated Hermione simply as she rolled up the newspaper and laid it down by her plate.
Professor McGonagall was now moving along the table handing out timetables.
‘Niisan will be teaching the first lesson!’ thought Sakura in alarm, as she look at the timetable, ‘Syaoran-kun, maybe you shouldn’t go. Niisan might try to kill you when he sees you.’
‘I would like to see him try,’ Syaoran thought in amusement, ‘Besides, I have to meet with him sooner or later. I don’t want him to think that I’m afraid of him.’
Sakura and the two invisible phoenixes sighed in defeat. Sakura stood up and faced the Golden Trio, “I’m going back to the common room to get my books. Are you all coming?”
Syaoran got up and left the Great Hall with Travis and Serena behind him. The Golden Trio got up too and followed Syaoran’s lead. Sakura left a few seconds later, closely followed by Tomoyo who had gotten her timetable.
At The Slytherin Table…
As Professor Snape handed out the timetable to Draco, he asked, “Mr. Malfoy, where is Miss Li?”
“She decided to go back to the common room early, professor,” said Draco easily, “She had asked Meiling Li to help her collect the timetable.”
Professor Snape nodded his head stiffly and pushed two timetables into Meiling’s hand, before giving out the rest of the timetables. Meiling gave Draco a questioning look. “Professor Snape is always like that. There’s nothing to worry about,” said Draco.
Meiling turned slightly as Syaoran left the Great Hall. “Let’s go back to the common room and get our books,” said Meiling as she stood up.
Without waiting for the two Slytherins, Meiling left the Great Hall. “What do we do now, Malfoy? Follow her?” asked Blaise raising an eyebrow. “Why not?” said Draco lazily, as he got up and walked out of the Great Hall. Blaise shook his head and followed the Ice Prince.
