Title: 1st Year At Hogwarts

Note: All incantations would be in Japanese, except for the Chinese incantations and Hogwarts's spells. When the CCS gang communicated with each other, it will be in Japanese unless otherwise stated. By the way, the famous Li Clan had pictures of Clow Reed hanging on the walls. Surnames began first in Asia, while in Western countries they began last. This story will follow as closely as Harry Potter book five as possible. All CCS gang had turned thirteen during their stay at Eriol’s house. Serena and Travis remained fifteen. Sakura and Syaoran always talked using their mind-link when they are alone, so did Serena and Travis.
Summary: The CCS gang and SM gang will meet the HP gang on the train to Hogwarts.
Story: Li Syaoran and his cousin Li Meiling had gone back to Hong Kong for 3 days already. Before they went back, they taught Kinomoto Sakura how to fight in armed and unarmed combat. Sakura decided to train hard in magic, swordsmanship, and martial arts. Harry Potter and company would be in the 5th year, along with some of the new transfer students. Touya's sixth sense had returned to him since Sakura had become stronger. The Kinomoto men also knew everything about the cards and about Eriol Hiiragizawa and the fact that Fujitaka Kinomoto was half of the reincarnation of Clow Reed. The story will follow as closely to the Harry Potter Book 5 as possible. For those who did not read Sailor Moon Universal, Travis Watson was Serena’s younger twin. He was also Sailor Sol and Sailor New Moon. Serena was Sailor Sun and Darien was Sailor Earth.
Summary of last chapter: The Gryffindors and the Slytherins were having potions with Professor Snape. Xiao Min was discussing about the new name she gave Voldemort with her father. The new students were talking about the reason of Snape’s dislike of Harry.
During lunch…
“Syaoran-kun, I’m going to eat with Tomoyo-chan. Is that okay with you?” asked Sakura questioningly, her emerald-green eyes focused on Syaoran’s amber ones.
Syaoran gave Sakura a soft smile and a nod, before following the Gryffindors to the table. He sat opposite Travis and started to eat, ignoring the fact that Serena and Travis were having an ‘eating competition’ again. He also ignored the Golden Trio’s argument. Inconspicuously, Syaoran fed Cherry, who was under the table, while he ate. Ying Fa, who is invisible like Cherry, crooned softly in Syaoran’s ear as she perched on his shoulder.
At the Ravenclaw’s table, Tomoyo and Sakura were talking about the morning’s lesson while they ate. Sakura, like Syaoran, was also trying to feed Okami without anyone noticing.
“Sakura-chan, what lesson did you’ve before lunch? I've Care of Magical Creatures double period,” asked Tomoyo, her violet eyes sparkling, as she aimed her camcorder at an embarrass Sakura.
“I’d double potions with Snape-sensei. He was being awful to Harry-sempai, though. How’s Care of Magical Creatures class?” asked Sakura, interested.
“It’s very interesting. We’re starting on Bowtruckles. Sakura-chan, you’d better hurried up. It’s almost about time for our next lesson. I've Eastern Magic double period with Li-san, I mean Li-sensei,” stated Tomoyo as she read her timetable.
Sakura nodded her head as she picked up her eating pace. After eating, she waved a goodbye to her cousin and best friend, before dashing out of the Great Hall. Syaoran was outside the Great Hall waiting for her. Without a word, the two soul mates ran after the retreating backs of their classmates.
Outside the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom…
Eriol Hiiragizawa was outside the classroom waiting for all the students to arrive. When most of the class had arrived, he led them inside. Inside the classroom, the lights were very dim. Thick layers of dark violet curtains covered all the windows. The class went to find their seats while they looked around suspiciously, as if suspecting creatures to jump at them.
“Good afternoon, class!” said the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor softly in a mysterious voice, “As you all know, I’m Professor Eriol, your latest Defense Against the Dark Arts professor. This year, we’ll be studying various forms of jinxes and counter-curses, and learn about magical creatures. From what I've heard, the last four years you’d only two decent teachers. Even though, one of them is an imposter.”
The new students were extremely confused at that piece of information. Eriol had not mentioned to them about any imposter. Harry sighed as he realized that he would have to explain to them later about the fake Professor Moody.
Everyone paid close attention to the new professor as he started the lesson. First, Professor Eriol made the students paired up, Gryffindors and Slytherins with each other. Then, he announced that the pairings would last through the whole year, which resulted in groans throughout the classroom. Thirdly, he stated very cheerfully that whoever was aiming to kill or maim their partner would result in detention for a whole week and fifty points taken from their house.
The pairings were Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy, Ron Weasley with Blaise Zabini, Hermione Granger with Meiling Li, Sakura Kinomoto with Millicent Bulstrode, Serena Tsukino with Pansy Parkinson, Syaoran Li with Gregory Goyle, and Travis Watson with Min Li.
By the end of the double Defense Against the Dark Arts class, Harry concluded that the new professor might be slightly better than Professor Lupin, if he had not been paired up with Draco Malfoy. He can still feel the impact of the last spell that he had not managed to dodge. Wincing softly, he left the classroom.
Author’s Note: The True Wolves and the Soul Phoenixes are always with Sakura and Syaoran, even though I almost never mentioned them. The two Sun guardians were been hidden in the room of their master/mistress. They won’t be mentioned too often. The Moon guardians will not be appearing soon.
