Title: 1st Year At Hogwarts
By: Yume Li

Disclaimer: I do not own Cardcaptor Sakura, Harry Potter, or Sailor Moon.

Note: All incantations would be in Japanese, except for the Chinese incantations and Hogwarts's spells. When the CCS gang communicated with each other, it will be in Japanese unless otherwise stated. By the way, the famous Li Clan had pictures of Clow Reed hanging on the walls. Surnames began first in Asia, while in Western countries they began last. This story will follow as closely as Harry Potter book five as possible. All CCS gang had turned thirteen during their stay at Eriol’s house. Serena and Travis remained fifteen. Sakura and Syaoran always talked using their mind-link when they are alone, so did Serena and Travis.

Summary: The CCS gang and SM gang will meet the HP gang on the train to Hogwarts.

Story: Li Syaoran and his cousin Li Meiling had gone back to Hong Kong for 3 days already. Before they went back, they taught Kinomoto Sakura how to fight in armed and unarmed combat. Sakura decided to train hard in magic, swordsmanship, and martial arts. Harry Potter and company would be in the 5th year, along with some of the new transfer students. Touya's sixth sense had returned to him since Sakura had become stronger. The Kinomoto men also knew everything about the cards and about Eriol Hiiragizawa and the fact that Fujitaka Kinomoto was half of the reincarnation of Clow Reed. The story will follow as closely to the Harry Potter Book 5 as possible. For those who did not read Sailor Moon Universal, Travis Watson was Serena’s younger twin. He was also Sailor Sol and Sailor New Moon. Serena was Sailor Sun and Darien was Sailor Earth.

Summary of last chapter: After lunch, the Gryffindors and the Slytherins had Defense Against the Dark Arts with Professor Eriol Hiiragizawa. During lesson, they were forced to paired up with the opposite house.

On the way to History of Eastern Magic…

“My body feels very sore,” muttered Travis, as he winced whenever he walked.

Syaoran shook his chestnut head in amusement, “You aren’t fast enough to dodge her attacks, I presume? She’s got very fast reflexes.”

Travis only smiled ruefully at Syaoran. Most of the Gryffindors were either wincing or limping as they headed for their next class, which thankfully was not that far. Only a handful was without injury, like Sakura, Syaoran, and Serena. After assuring his twin that his injury was not as bad as it looked, Travis continued his conversation with Syaoran.

“It wasn’t the spells that causes the pain, though. Xiao Min was quite fond of only using Expelliarmus and Stupefy to attack me. Plus, the attacks are always powerful, which always seemed to cause me to land on my back. I don’t think I’m going to survive the next Defense Against the Dark Arts class, though.”

Syaoran’s look of amusement did not leave when he spoke next, “With more practice, I’m sure you can avoid her spells with ease. At least your opponent did not seem to be as pathetic as mine was. This Goyle seems to be all brawn but no brains.”

Sakura gave Syaoran an admonished look for saying that, while Ron laughed at the description. Harry only smiled slightly when he overheard them. Hermione and Serena, however, shook their heads.

“So,” began Serena, as she rested her blue eyes at Hermione, “what imposter does Eriol-sensei mean?”

The rest of the new students looked at Hermione attentively when they heard the question. Hermione blushed slightly at the attention she was receiving.

“I’d better made this explanation short since we’re nearly at our next class,” began Hermione briskly, “last year, Professor Dumbledore invited Professor Moody to come to Hogwarts to teach us Defense Against the Dark Arts. But, what we got is an imposter. We only learnt about this imposter when Harry brought back Cedric’s body. He had been using Polyjuice Potion for the whole school year and was the spy that the Dark Lord had planted at Hogwarts. We’d a Triwizard Tournament, which is about three champions fulfilling three tasks, at that time which involved the three largest European school of wizardry – Hogwarts, Beauxbatons, and Durmstrang. For the tournament, the Goblet of Fire chose a champion from each school. The imposter managed to trick the Goblet of Fire into thinking that Harry is a student from another school. Along the way, he tried to make sure that Harry passed all the tasks and was in the first place. He managed to kill his own father, placed an Imperius Curse on a champion, and stunned another champion along the way. In the end, this imposter was given the Kiss by a Dementor.”

There were various of different expressions on the faces of the new students as Hermione finished the story. Syaoran and Travis had very solemn expressions on their faces. Sakura and Serena had tears in their eyes.

“And she called that explanation short,” mumbled Ron to anyone who would listen.

Hermione glared at Ron as they reached the History of Eastern Magic classroom, while those students from Japan sweatdropped. Harry only rolled his eyes at his friends’ antics as Professor Yukito let them into the classroom.
