"Confessions"

Zephyr laughed.

Zephyr: Standing still won't save your planet.

Sakura frowned.

Syaoran: We have to do something or we'll lose our planet.

Yugi: There's nothing we can do. All is doomed.

Sakura took out Zephyr's cards. Zephyr's eyes widened.

Zephyr: She took my Gold Card!!!

Sakura: Maybe these will help.
Sakura took out her wand.

Sakura: Please work.

Syaoran: You can only use one at a time.

Sakura: There's no time!

Yugi: You might die!

Sakura: I don't care!

She took out her wand.

Sakura: Silver and Gold!!!!!!!

Somewhere Nearby…

Cassandra looked at the beam.

Cassandra: Oh no. Their planet will be destroyed.

Voice: Hello Cassandra.

Cassandra gasped and turned around. It was Bakura.

Cassandra: Bakura? Is that you? Didn't Zephyr kill you?

Bakura: My Millennium Item protected me.

Cassandra: Why were you helping him?

Bakura: I know he needs the Millennium Items, I'm just not sure he knows.
Cassandra looked at him suspiciously.

Sakura: Come on!!
The two cards started glowing and flew to the air.

Yugi: What's going on?

Zephyr frowned.
Zephyr: I won't let you use them!!!

He flew to Sakura and grabbed the cards.

Syaoran: Give them back!! WIND!!!

Wind attacked Zephyr and pushed him to the ground.

Sakura: Hurry up and get them.

Yugi: Right!

Yugi ran to the cards and gave them back to Sakura.

Sakura: Thanks!

Yugi stared at the unconscious Zephyr.

Yugi: What if we use all of the cards?

Syaoran: It's already too much power as it is!
Sakura: Well, maybe you both can boost me up.

Yugi: All right, I'll get the remaining cards.

He ran up to Zephyr and looked in his pocket. He gasped. In his pocket was the Millennium Eye.

Yugi: What is this doing here?
Syaoran: Yugi! Hurry up!
Yugi put the eye in his pocket.

Yugi: Coming!

On Earth…

Everyone stared at the sky. The beam was not too far away. People started screaming, children started crying, reporters started panic.

Touya looked at the beam.

Touya: I wish Yue were here.

A girl stood next to him. It was Ruby.

Ruby: You miss him, don't you?
Touya: He was my best friend.

Ruby smiled and massaged his shoulder.

Ruby: I love you Touya.

Touya turned around and smiled.

Touya: I love you too.

Touya kissed her. Ruby started to unbutton his shirt.

Yugi handed all of the cards to Sakura.

Sakura: Let's do this!!

Yugi, Syaoran, and Sakura held to the wand together. Energy started coming out of their bodies. In an instant flash, their power formed into an energy disc and headed to the beam.

Sakura: I hope it gets it in time.

Yugi stared at her. = She's so beautiful. =

Yugi blushed. = This can't be. I'm with Cassandra. =

Syaoran heard Cassandra and Bakura coming.

Cassandra: Hi guys.

Syaoran couldn't help but blush.

Sakura smiled.

Sakura: Guys! Look!!

Their energy disc hit the beam right on time. The earth was safe once again.

Bakura: Yugi, here.

He handed the Millennium Ring to Yugi.

Yugi: Huh?

Bakura: I don't want to end up bad again.

Yugi: Thanks. But, I thought you were dead.

Bakura: I don't know.

Syaoran looked around to see where Zephyr was. He was nowhere to be seen.

Syaoran: He's gone.

Sakura stared at the four cards. She laid them on the ground.

Sakura: Now that their energies are low, I can destroy them. FIRE!!!

Fire burned the cards and Sakura ripped them up.

Sakura: It's finally over. He surrenders.

Cassandra: Let's go celebrate.

Yugi: My treat.

Syaoran: You know what, Yugi? You're okay.

Yugi: Thanks.

They smiled at each other. They were now friends.

Zephyr looked at them with cold eyes.

Zephyr: Oh Sakura, it's far from over.
He took out the Millennium Rod.
Zephyr: Once I collect these items, they will harness loads of energy back into the cards, and when they do, you better be ready.

He disappeared.

One Hour Later…

Sakura came out with a beautiful dress. Yugi blushed when he saw her.

Yugi: Hey Sakura. Nice dress.

He fixed his tuxedo.

Sakura: Thank you, Tomoyo made it.

Yugi: We'll find them, I hope.

Sakura: Yeah.

There was an awkward silence.

Sakura: Yugi, I have to tell you something.

Yugi: Sure. What is it?

Sakura: Well, lately I've been having, f-feeling for you.

Yugi stared at her.

Sakura: Say something.

Yugi: Look, Syaoran and I, well, we just became friends, and I can't go out with his ex. Besides, I have Cassandra.

Sakura looked down.

Yugi: Sorry.

He went downstairs and met Cassandra.

Yugi: Hey Cassandra, are you ready?
Cassandra: Um, Yugi. We need to talk.

Yugi: About?
Cassandra: I-I'm not sure about some stuff.

Yugi: What's stuff?

Cassandra: Us. There's this guy that I'm starting to like and well, you know.

Yugi gave a hurt look.

Cassandra: I'm sorry.

Yugi watched her walk away. Sakura looked at Yugi.

Sakura: I heard everything.

Yugi: It's none of your business.

Sakura: You're right. I'm sorry… about everything.

Yugi: Everything?

Sakura: Ever since we started collecting the Rainbow Cards, you and Syaoran have been fighting for me. For a while, I loved it because I got the attention and nobody fought for me, but when you proposed to me, I knew you'd be the one and I said yes.

Yugi looked down.

Sakura: I look back at all of that and realize that we've been through a lot together. I love you.

Yugi: You've been turning my heart on and off ever since we met. You'll just do it again.

Sakura: Syaoran and I have been through a lot as well, catching Clow Cards, turning them to Star Cards, and more! He was my first love, but I didn't love him the minute we met. With you, I thought you were kind of odd, but right off the bath, I fell in love with you.

Sakura walked closer to Yugi and kissed him. Yugi kissed back and then he stopped.

Yugi: I can't. Syaoran and I have just become friends. I'm sorry.

Sakura looked down.

Sakura: Well, tell everyone I won't make it to dinner.

She walked up the stairs and Yugi looked at her. He went to the lobby.

Yugi: I hope everyone's ready.

He heard Cassandra's voice in the hallway.

Cassandra: Come on sweetie. Let's go meet Yugi.

Man: I don't think it's a good idea.

Cassandra smiled and kissed the man.

Yugi hid in the bushes. He took a peek and gasped. The man was Syaoran!! Yugi wiped his eyes. There he saw his ex kiss his friend. He frowned and ran to the stairs.

Syaoran saw Yugi.

Syaoran: Yugi wait!
Yugi stopped.

Yugi: I can't believe it. I thought you were my friend.

Syaoran: I am.

Yugi: Then why were you kissing my ex.

Syaoran: I-I

Yugi: Wait, why am I mad? I mean, I don't love Cassandra anymore.

Syaoran smiled.

Syaoran: No you don't. You love Sakura.
Yugi: I could never.

Syaoran: I'm sorry for dating Cassandra too sudden, but I'm starting to really like her. You should go for it.

Yugi smiled.
Yugi: I will.

He ran up the stairs.

Meanwhile…

Zephyr put the Millennium Key on his table.

Zephyr smiled and took out the Millennium Rod and the Millennium Tauk out of his backpack.

Zephyr: It won't be long now until I get all of the Millennium Items.

He laughed hysterically.

Sakura got out of the shower and put on a towel. She heard the doorbell.

Sakura: Coming!

She opened the door.

Sakura: Yugi?

Yugi stepped in and smiled.

Yugi: It's always been you, Sakura. I love you.

He and Sakura kissed passionately and the door behind them closed…
