Chapter 8

"Outside the Pyramid"

Yugi tried with all of his might. All of them did. Just when he was about to give up, it worked! They arrived in front of the pyramid. There was a long passageway ahead of them. It was kind of like a maze.

"Wow! How'd you do that Yugi?" asked Joey.

"I discovered it! It was hard, but I did it. It gives us a head start because Roy can teleport to places he's been." Said Yugi.

"Didn't Roy stash the rocket here?" asked Joey.

"Yeah. You're right, but why isn't he here? He probably thinks there's no way we can catch up so he's flying over here. Which doesn't give us much time! Let's go!"

A Few Countries From Here

"What?!" Roy yelled. "They're in Egypt? How? Those idiots, they lost their card! Why?"

Roy flew as fast as he could.

Back on Egypt

"It looks like there's a lot of quicksand." Said Sakura.

"We're going to have to watch our steps." Said Syaoran.

There were two separate places to go. The left side and the right side.

"I have an idea!" said Joey. Everyone gasped. "Very funny! Anyway, why don't we split up?"

"What if one side is a trap?" asked Tomoyo.

"The people on each side has to be careful." Said Joey.

Everyone nodded.

"All right. Yugi, Sakura, and Tomoyo will go on the right side. Leaving Tea, Syaoran, and I to the left. Luckily, I brought walkie-talkies! I have six! One for everyone. If anyone crosses another two-side path, the one on the opposite side will communicate with you. Got it?" Joey asked.

"I separated Yugi and Sakura from Syaoran is because Ta and I need someone with magic, if anything happens. Same with Tomoyo. Ready?"

"Ready!" everyone yelled. And they walked to their side.

On the right side

"I can't wait to film this!" said Tomoyo.

Sakura sighed. "You'll never change!"

"Nope!"

In the front, Yugi was blushing. Why did I have with her? I'll be blushing like crazy! He thought.

After a long walk outside, they finally got in the pyramid.

Sakura talked on the walkie-talkie. "Hello! Is anyone there?" she asked.

"Yes this Syaoran! Over!"

Sakura blushed. Yugi noticed that and turned away.

"This is Sakura! We're inside the pyramid. Where are you?"

"No sign of an entrance here! Looks like you guys took the right side. Get it? You took the right side and that was the right side?"

"O…kay! I'll make Yugi use his teleportation on you guys. Bye!"

Sakura turned to Yugi. "Did you hear that?"

Yugi nodded and teleported them here.

"Well, I guess we're halfway there." Said Tea.

"We're lucky the first half was easy. I bet you anything the second will long and hard." Said Joey.

Everyone nodded. They walked in.

Near the Pyramid

"Oh man! They're inside already! Well, I'll just fly in there and make an appearance. I'll destroy them once and for all!" Roy flew towards the pyramid.

Look out guys! Roy's coming! (Wait! He was never a problem before!) Forget it!
