Chapter 10

"Running Out of Time"

Everyone stood still. Very still. Sakura pointed the flashlight at the mummy. They all screamed and ran. The mummy followed wherever they went. Then, it got Syaoran!

"Syaoran!" yelled Sakura. She stopped running. "Let him go!"

Everyone stopped.

"So. You must be Sakura. We finally meet!" screeched the mummy.

"You're that mummy who wrote the diary! You ought be ashamed of yourself!"

"Silence!" the mummy yelled. "Now, I'm not suppose to do this, but if you give me the Yellow Card, then I'll let you go."

"No way! We're not staying here any longer! We have to reach the shuttle in (Looks at watch) Oh my god! In ten minutes!" Sakura yelled.

Everyone gasped.

"I guess, I'll stay and fight him!" exclaimed Yugi.

"What? No way! I'm going to fight him!" said Syaoran.

"NO! I'm staying and that's that!" yelled Yugi.

"Ok. Don't too long. Try and finish before the shuttle leaves" said Sakura softly. She kissed Yugi on the cheeks. Yugi blushed. Syaoran got jealous. Everyone, but Yugi, left.

"All right creep! You're going to be taught a lesson you'll never forget!"

At the Shuttle Room…

"We're almost there!" yelled Sakura as everyone was running. All of the sudden, Roy jumped in front of the gang.

"Going somewhere?" he said. They stopped.

"Shuttle Countdown: Five Minutes." Said the computer.

"Oh. It looks like you're going to be a little late." He said.

"Back off!" said Syaoran.

Roy created another sword. "We never got to finish our fight." He attacked.

Back to Yugi…

The mummy was weak. Yugi was too powerful for him.

"It can't be! I'm not defeated!"

"You're pathetic! You wasted your life just to wait for a battle you never could defeat." Said Yugi. "You don't deserve to live anymore." Yugi pointed his finger at the mummy. "Obliterate!" The beam hit the mummy.

"Nooooooooooo!" he yelled as he turned to dust.

"Only five minutes left! I have to catch up!"

As Yugi runs toward the shuttle room, Syaoran and Roy are battling. Who will win? Will Yugi catch up and help? Or will the shuttle take off before he makes it? Find out next chapter!
