Chapter 22

"Underground Mission"

Three Days Later…

Sakura told Joey and Tea everything about the cavern.

"So, you touched the card and it flew away?" asked Tea.

"Yes. I bet you anything that it flew to Diamond Reed." She answered.

"Too bad we weren't there. Was Holy destroyed?" asked Joey.

"Yes. We pushed her to the treasure and she was destroyed."

"How?"

"Nobody knows." Answered Sakura.

Eriol ran to them. "Hey guys!" he said sitting down with them.

"Hey! What's up?" asked Tomoyo.

"I think I know where the Green Card is!" he said.

"You think? Come on!" said Joey.

"Hey! This was five-thousand years ago! You're lucky I remember something!"

"He's right! Besides, you can't even remember your breakfast!" exclaimed Joey.

"Yes I do!" yelled Joey.

"Ok. What was it?"

"It was, um, I know it wasn't rice."

"Face it, you don't remember!"

"I was sleepy, I didn't know."

"Whatever!"

They growled at each other.

"STOP! Both of you! We don't need this right now!" yelled Sakura.

They sat down.

"I know it's underground. It was near a colony." Eriol continued.

"So, is the plan set?" asked Diamond Reed.

"Yes sir! Which two do you want?" asked the servant.

"Someone without powers. How about Joey and Tomoyo?"

"Right away sir!" the servant left.

Diamond laughed. "After I'm done with those two, the Card Mistress will be mine!" Diamond laughed hysterically.

"How do we get underground?" asked Sakura.

"That's where the Earth Card comes in." said Eriol. "It can make a hole. One by one, we slide down."

"I never used the Earth Card before. It will be easy, right?"

"Yes."

"What are we waiting for? Let's go!" said Syaoran.

"Follow me!" exclaimed Eriol. They followed him.

Myko looked at them. "All right! This is when the real fun starts!" he followed them.

They arrived near the tree that Sakura used to go back in time.

"Wow! This tree changed." Said Sakura.

"Yeah." Said Tomoyo. She went to the tree. "Hey Joey? Do you still have that mini-camera on your head?"

"Yeah. You want it back?"

"Sure. Can you come here?"

Joey walked to her. Tomoyo got the camera out.

Myko talked with a walkie-talkie. "Now! Push the button now!"

"Push the button! The trap is ready!" yelled the servant. Another servant pushed the button.

The ground was shaking. "What's going on?" asked Sakura.

"I don't know!" answered Eriol.

The shaking stopped. A hole appeared below Joey and Tomoyo. They fell in.

"JOEY! TOMOYO!" yelled Sakura running to the hole. The hole was covered again.

"NO!" cried Sakura.
