Chapter 36

"The Space Colony"

"SYAORAN!" yelled Sakura. "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO HIM?" She ran towards Diamond, but Diamond jumped out of the way.

Yugi hugged her. "Don't worry Sakura. We can bring him back with a wish."

"That's right. Thanks." Sakura turned to Diamond. "Did you hear that? We're going to bring him back." She took out all of the seven cards. Diamond smiled and ran to Sakura. "Too bad I'm not going to let you!" He took every card, except the Yellow, from Sakura's hand. After that, he disappeared.

"NO!" yelled Eriol. "He took all of the cards!"

"No, he didn't take the Yellow Card." Said Sakura.

"Once again, we're right back where we started!" exclaimed Joey.

"So, what happens now?" asked Tomoyo.

"I don't know, but he's going to notice he missed a card, then he'll come back." Said Sakura.

Yugi had an idea. "Instead of waiting for him to come to us, let's go to him!"

"How?" asked Joey.

"Well, we know his secret space colony is near earth, since we saw it during our trip to Dileria. Diamond sent his troops to destroy us, remember?"

"The question is, how do you remember? You lost your memory when we got to Earth." Said Joey.

"I got my memory back, I guess. Now, the space ship we used is probably where we left it last time. So, we can use the space ship to get inside."

"Good idea!" exclaimed Sakura.

"There's only one problem." Said Yugi.

"What?" asked Joey.

"We don't know how to get in. He would destroy us for sure if we just go there."

"Not if I help you!" exclaimed a figure.

"SYAORAN?" asked Sakura.

"That's right." He answered.

Sakura ran to him and hugged him hard. "How did you survive that?"

"He just missed me. He didn't even the chance to notice."

"I'm glad. But, when you said you could help, what did you mean?" asked Sakura.

"Diamond hid a rocket in the pyramid we went to. He's going to send it up in about 2 days to stock on supplies. We can sneak into the rocket, get into the space colony, and we Diamond in his little game."

"That's perfect!" exclaimed Yugi. But then, he got worried. "When exactly did he tell you it would blast in 2 days?''

"He told me the day before yesterday." Answered Syaoran. He then noticed something. "If he told me that then," he started.

"Then today would be the second day!" finished Yugi.

Everyone gasped.

Syaoran looked at his watch and gasped. "It going to blast off in 10 minutes!"

"Everyone hold hands!" exclaimed Yugi. Everyone listened and they teleported in the shuttle room.

"Shuttle Countdown in 5 minutes." Announced the computer.

"YOU SAID IT WAS 10 MINUTES!" exclaimed Eriol.

"I guess my watch is 5 minutes off!"

"Come on! We don't have much time!"

"You better make time!" screeched a voice.

"That voice!" exclaimed Joey. It was the mummy!

"This time I'm going to finish you off!" exclaimed Yugi.

"We'll see about that." Said the mummy.

"I want you all to go inside the shuttle!"

"But," started Sakura.

"Now!" interrupted Yugi.

She didn't argue, and led everyone to the shuttle.

"No one's leaving!" exclaimed the mummy.

"Shut up and fight!" exclaimed Yugi.

"After I kill you, I'm going destroy your friends!"

Yugi held his Millennium Item. "YU,"

The mummy pushed the item to the floor.

"I'm not letting you use that again!"

"Fine! I don't need that right now!"

He pointed his finger to the mummy. "CELESTIAL FIRE BALLS!"

The mummy pointed his hand at Yugi. "BLUE FIRE BALLS!"

The balls hit each other, causing destruction in the room.

"Shuttle Countdown: 3 minutes." Announced the computer.

Yugi and the mummy were constantly shooting each other. But the fireballs always met and destroyed part of the room.

"That's it! ICE CAPS! DESTROY!" yelled the mummy. He shot ice caps at Yugi.

"You fool! Fire is the weakness of ice!" He shot a fireball towards him. First, it destroyed the ice caps. Then, it hit the mummy.

"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaggggghhh!" he moaned as he turned to dust.

"Shuttle Countdown: 1 minute." Announced the computer.

"Oh crap!" yelled Yugi. He ran towards the shuttle.

"59… 58… 57… 56"

Yugi opened the gate.

"55… 54… 53"

He entered the gate.

"52… 51… 50… 49…"

He opened the entrance.

"48… 47… 46"

`Oh no! I forgot my millennium item!' He ran towards the millennium item.

"45… 44… 43… 42… 41… 40… 39… 38…"

He got the millennium item.

"37… 36… 35… 34…"

He went back to the gate.

"33… 32… 31… 30…"

He closed the gate.

"29… 28… 27… 26…"

Yugi couldn't close the gate because it was heavy.

"25… 24… 23… 22…"

He finally closed it and entered the shuttle.

"21… 20… 19… 18…"

He put on a suit and went to the little elevator.

"17… 16… 15… 14…"

He was on the second floor.

"13… 12… 11… 10…"

Third floor.

"9… 8… 7… 6…"

He made it to the fourth floor, where everyone else was.

"5… 4… 3… 2…"

He sat down, panting.

"1… 0… Blast Off!"

The shuttle blasted off to space.

"I cannot believe how fast I did that!" exclaimed Yugi.

"Me neither." Said Joey. He looked outside the window. `Don't worry Tea. I'm coming.'

2 Hours Later…

The shuttle arrived to the Space Colony.

The gang left the shuttle and entered the colony. Everything inside was all dusty.

"Gross! Someone hasn't cleaned for a while!" exclaimed Sakura.

"Yeah." Replied Joey.

All of the sudden, Diamond appeared in front of them.

"Hello, we've been expecting you. Guards, take them to the cell!" Diamond smiled and went through Sakura's pocket. He took the Yellow Card. "I'll be taking this."

Sakura frowned. "You'll never get with this!"

"Oh. But I will." Said Diamond. After that, Sakura and co. were taken to a cell. The guards threw them inside.

"TEA!" yelled Joey.

"JOEY!" yelled Tea. They hugged each other.

"Thank goodness you're ok!" exclaimed Joey.

"Yeah." Said Yugi hugging Tea as well.

Sakura smiled. "I can't believe it!"

"What?" asked Syaoran.

"Diamond, he took the second copy of the Yellow Card!"

"So there's still hope?'' asked Tea.

"He destroyed it. But maybe, there is, for all of us." Answered Sakura.

"Now, let's get out of this cell!" exclaimed Eriol.

"Yeah!" exclaimed everyone.
