Chapter 37

"The Never-Ending Platform Battle"

"How are we going to get out of here?" asked Joey.

"This way!" exclaimed Sakura taking her wand out.

"Why didn't we think of that before?" asked Joey.

"Who cares? Let's just leave!" exclaimed Tomoyo.

"Wait Sakura!" exclaimed Yugi. "You're going to need your strength for your battle with Diamond! I'll get us out. YU-GI-OH!!!!!!" He transformed into Yami. He pointed his millennium item towards the bars. "BEAM SWORD!" A red sword formed into Yami's hand. He slashed the bars off in one swing and they ran out.

At Diamond's Room…

"I will finally gain power to control the universe!" exclaimed Diamond putting the cards in a slot. "Ha! My little brother thought I would never get these back! Ha ha! All right, Rainbow Cards, I should've called Diamond Cards after all that is my name, oh well, I am ready to make my wishes!"

A spirit came out of all of the cards, forming one huge spirit. It had all of the colors of the rainbow in him (Kind of lame, don't you think?). "MASTER! YOU ARE MISSING ONE CARD!"

"WHAT? I have all of them right here!" exclaimed Diamond. He looked at the spirits and noticed that it was missing a color on its body.

"Yellow."

Back to Sakura and co…

"This place is huge! How are we going to find him?" asked Tomoyo.

"We should split up again!" exclaimed Sakura. "Joey, Tea, and Yugi will have to search east side! Syaoran, Tomoyo, and I will the west side, got it?"

Everyone said yes. Then, Kero came out of Sakura's backpack. "Hey guys! It's Meiling on your phone, Sakura."

"Oh, thanks." Said Sakura picking up her phone.

"Sakura, now's not the time to be using the phone!" exclaimed Yugi.

"Don't worry, she probably has something important to tell us. Hello?"

"Hello, Sakura?" asked Meiling on the other side. "Where are you?"

"I'm at Diamond's space colony, why?"

"Tristan, Bakura, Kaiba, and I discovered something about that place!"

"What is it?"

"It's-It's" the phone went dead.

"Great!" exclaimed Sakura. "Well, I guess we'll have to find out for ourselves." She put three beams on her palm.

"These little beams will help you breathe if anything goes wrong, Diamond must already have set booby traps."
"Right!" Yugi, Tea, and Joey took the beams and left.

Sakura turned to Syaoran and Tomoyo and gave them air beams (that's what I call them).

"All right, let's go!"

With Yami and co…

The gang stopped at an exit door. "An exit door on a space colony?" asked Joey opening the door. They gasped when they open the door. There was a never-ending platform made of steel, it was like a maze! Asteroids were hitting the platform.

"What the heck? What's this for?"

"For a battle." Answered a figure. A warrior, who looked like Roy, stepped in front of them. "My name is Marth, brother of Roy. I believe you beat him."
"Umm, that was Sakura." Said Joey.

The blue-haired Marth took his sword out. "Your name is Yami, am I right?'' he asked to Yami.

"Yes. Why?"

"I must battle you."

"Ok. Where?"

"Right here." He pointed to the platform.

"What?" asked Tea.

"That's kind of big for a battle." Said Joey.

"No. It'll be like a race to the end, instead, we attack each other while we're running."

"That sounds weird." Said Joey.

"I accept." Said Yami.

"But be caution, because the platform is divided into several pieces, that means that the platforms will fall down after you touch them, so be fast, or you will fall into space."

"I'm confused." Said Joey.

"Joey! I get it, you should too." Said Tea.

"All right, let the race begin!" exclaimed Marth.

"On your mark… get set, go!"

Both Yami and Marth ran.

Behind them, platforms were falling down.

`I don't know when he's going to attack.' Thought Yami.

Marth turned around and yelled "BLUE SWORD ATTACK!" His sword turned bright blue and started flying towards Yami.

"YUGI, I mean, YAMI, LOOK OUT!" yelled Joey.

The sword stabbed Yami in the back. Yami yelled out in pain.

"YUGI!" yelled Tea.

The platform Yami was standing was starting to tilt. Yami had enough strength to walk. He had to walk pretty fast to escape the falling platforms.

"Where is he? Wouldn't these platforms have disappeared since he touched them?" asked Yami. He looked behind him and noticed he was far from Tea and Joey. All of the sudden, Marth appeared and pointed his sword to Yami's heart. The platform they were on started tilting.

"ENOUGH!" exclaimed Marth. Then, all of the platforms returned to their places.

"I want to kill you in peace!"

"Don't you mean pieces?" asked Joey yelling to distract him.

"NO! I want to kill him in peace!"

"OBLITERATE!" exclaimed Yami. A black beam came out of Yami's hands. The beam missed Marth.

"Nice try! Now, I will get my revenge for the death of my brother!"
Yami and Yugi separated to become two.

"What's this? Two Yami's?"

"I'm Yugi, he's Yami, and you're dead!"

Yami and Yugi put their energy together to form a beam ball. They hit Marth with the ball and Marth fell into space.

Yami went inside Yugi. He walked back to Joey and Tea.

"YUGI! You're ok." Said Tea hugging him.

"I'm fine." Said Yugi.

"You won't be when I'm done with you!" exclaimed Marth.

"WHAT?!" yelled Joey.

Marth stabbed Joey.

"JOEY!" exclaimed Tea.

Joey laid there… dead.
