It all started in the beginning, when magic existed. Everyone knew magic, required by laws passed down from generation to generation. But as time passed, everyone started breaking apart. Breaking apart and forming their own kingdom. Ruling over those who follows the leader.
Two of the most powerful kingdom that exists is the KinomotoKingdom and the Li Kingdom.
The Li kingdom is the first most powerful kingdom, all direct descendants from the greatest most powerful sorcerer from times past. Clow Reed. The one who created the powerful cards called the Clow Cards.
Since Clow Reed's death, the Book of Clow, where the Clow Cards are being held until its next guide stumbles upon the book. The Book of Clow was closed and disappeared into thin air. The Li kingdom once held the cards, but now it is in their possession no more.
The Kinomoto Kingdom, the rival of the Li Kingdom, is the second most powerful kingdom. Through generations, their power weakens, but their power over the kingdom is still great.
These two powerful kingdoms, peaceful insideand amongstthemselves, cold and destructive in war.
The war will soon be overwhen one day, a child was born.
