Ancient Times: Magical Kingdoms

The queen of the KinomotoKingdom lay in bed, panting and sweating, surrounded by very frantic maids.Her beautiful brownhair surrounding the pillow like a blanket, her bangs sticking to her sweaty forehead,her eyes now a pale blue(A/N: I do not know the color of Sakura's mother's eyes, so I just made this one up. Sorry, if you know the color, plz tell me. On to the story)filled with weary. An old woman holds her hand, while another helps her push. The queens scream filled the air, reaching outside the castle grounds. Shescreams sounding as though a banshee is on the loose.

"My queen, you must push, it is almost out. I see the head, you must push HARDER," the nurse said, emphasizing the word `harder'.

"I am pushing --- AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!" she shrieked out while pushing.

Finally, the cries of a baby wereheard, filling the air.

"Oh, my queen, my lady,`tis wonderful!!!! It is a beautiful baby girl. Oh, how lovely she is. She looks just like you, my queen," the nurse said, while wrapping the baby around another clean towel. As the other two were already used and filled with blood.

"May I see her, nurse?" the queen asked, quietly and weakly.

"You need not ask, my lady," the nurse replied as she moved to get beside the queen.

As the baby was lowered to the arms of the queen, the baby started gurgling happily.

"Oh, my darling, you are so pretty. You take after my hair and nose and your eye features. But you take after your father's ears, complexion and eyes.(A/N: hehe….I just made up this part for now. On to the story)I am sure…that you will….be beautiful," the queen sighed and finally closed her eyes. Sleeping,a smile resting upon the beautiful face of the queen.

A maid then came forward and whispered to the nurse, the nurse merely nodded.

A man with light brown well-manneredhair and dark brown eyes entered wearing regal clothing thatfit for a king.

"What is it? Is it a girl or a boy?" the man asked, anxiously.

"My king, you have a wonderful baby girl," the nurse whispered, while taking the baby girl quietly and carefully from the arms of the queen, careful as to not awaken the queen and gave the baby to the king.

The king took it carefully and gently, with a tender-loving-care touch, he stroked the baby's face gently

"Oh, my dearest. You take after my looks. Come, I will show you to theelders. They will be happy to see you, of that I am quite sure," the king said, while he walked out of the room after kissing his wife's forehead.

He walked down long passages and finally came to the Grand Elders Hall, where the Elders are always. The hall is used for family, social, and country meetings. As the king walked through the corridors, he played with his child. Tickling the baby and making faces. He finally stopped in front of a great huge oak French door.

The door opened with a creak and he entered. He walked down the aisle of red carpet and looked around. He was always amazed at how the hall always looked so new, yet so old. There were pillars at each side, each designed with the story of the past. The past of the Kinomotokingdom. Though there are only carved statues, it always looked so real, looked as though they were speaking words. They do speak words, only through others. Soldiers stands tall and proud in front of each pillar, wearing the Rose kingdoms crest on their breastplate and holding sharp spears. Their face devoid of any emotion. Statues stood against the walls, portraits in between each statue. Portraits containing past ancestors.

Finally, he stopped in front a five feet tall brown with a banner and crest of each guardian in front of the connected desks. And behind the desks were the eleven elders of the kingdom.

"Elders, I present to you," he began with a bow and an outstretched arm holding a baby girl, with wide open mouth and eyes, head cocked at the side, looking curiously at the elders. The king continued, "I present to you my secondand last child, Princess Sakura Kinomoto."

"Take her to the tower," one of the elders at the right side replied.

Standing straight up, abruptly, at the word `tower', "Elder Nava, what do you mean? She is just a child!"

"A child who will endanger the kingdom if she is publicly announced and let around freely," an old man wearing a long silver robe and holding a very old looking staff with a stone surrounded by thin curved wood.

"You have no business here, mage," the king said harshly.

"Dear friend, Fujitaka, I am the powerful mage of this kingdom. I help those who havemagic and need help in controlling them. Also, whatever my dreams tell me,(A/N: Lame excuse, sorry)I must tell the elders. And what my dream has told me is that that child that you are holding at the moment will destroy us!!!" he exclaimed.

"How would you know, Ivan?! You are old and know nothing!!!!" the king replied, harshly.

"I may be old because of the spell cast upon me, but I am also wise beyond my years. Do you wish to endanger the whole kingdom?! If she is publicly announced to the people of the KinomotoKingdom and let loose the child, she will eventually come across the Li Kingdom and help them destroy us!!!!" the powerful mage exclaimed.

"You will be wise as to follow the mage's order, Christopher," the king's father said, a member of the elders, warned.

Sighing in defeat, he gave the baby to a nearby soldier, who took the baby and sent it to the tower. He looked up at the faces of the elders, even though bathed in some light only;he saw a shadow of their face, and also the face of the mage, Ivan. He looked at them menacingly and then left, stomping and fuming.

LOL!!! I updated the real story;I just put up the decoy, hehe!!! I just love S+Sfluff!!!! Hope you enjoy this chapter. Until next time, ciao!!!!
