Sakura, and Tomoyo's invitation - Prologue

Sakura and friends are now 15 years old. They are in 9th grade, and they're now in junior high! At Tomoeda Junior High, our story begins… ((I made up the name of the school, sorry!))

 

October 27, Monday

 

“Ohayou, minna-san!” Sakura greeted as she entered the classroom

 

“Ohayou, Sakura-chan!” Tomoyo greeted back while she approached her cardcaptor best friend / second cousin ((Her mom and Sakura's mom are cousins, right?))

 

“Ohayou, Sakura” Syaoran greeted too, give her one of his rare smiles

 

“Ohayou!” Meiling said, standing from her seat

 

“Good morning, Sakura-san” Eriol greeted as well

 

“I have a really great idea!” Tomoyo announced eyes sparkling as usual

 

“A new costume?” Meiling asked

 

“Nope.” Tomoyo replied smiling

 

“What is it then?” Syaoran asked her

 

“I want you to ask your parents if you could all come and sleepover at my house on Halloween.” Tomoyo said

 

“Sleepover?” Eriol and Syaoran asked at the same time

 

“Hai.” Tomoyo said simply with a smile once again

 

“We're going to a sleepover!!!” said Sakura and Meiling happily. Obviously, they're really excited.

 

“Okay, I'll go ask my dad later.” Sakura said

 

“That'll be great!” Tomoyo responded

Later, at the Kinomoto residence…

 

“Dad, can I go and sleepover at Tomoyo's on Halloween?” Sakura asked

 

“Sure. Enjoy yourself. What time will you get home the next day?” Fujitaka asked his daughter

 

“I'm not really sure, but I might make it to lunch.” Sakura said

 

“Okay. What time will you leave home?”

 

“Four-thirty in the afternoon”

 

“Alright. Say hi to your Aunt Sonomi for me.”

 

“Okay, dad”

 

Days passed really quickly and soon, it was already Friday, October 31, Halloween. They had no more classes at this time. It was their Semestral break.

 

Sakura was done fixing the things she would bring over to Tomoyo's house. She took a bath then afterwards dressed up in a mini denim skirt, cute pink shirt (with a chibi Kero-chan picture on it, made by our very own Tomoyo Daidouji.) and pink sandals as well ((Gee, Sakura sure loves pink doesn't she. Wait, I do too!))

 

“I'm going! Bye!” Sakura said as she headed for the door

 

“Wait just a minute. Where are you going?” Touya asked

 

“To Tomoyo's house for a sleepover.”

 

“Sleepover, ne? Who's invited?”

 

“Well, let's see… Me, Meiling—”

 

“Don't tell me the gaki is invited.”

 

“Well, he is. Actually, Syaoran and Eriol. And by the way, Syaoran is not a gaki!”

 

“He is?! I'm not allowing you to come.”

 

“Why not?”

 

“Because he's there.”

 

“So what if he's there?”

 

“I don't like it”

 

“But dad already allowed me to come, so I'm going! See ya tomorrow morning Touya!”

 

“*sigh* be careful”

 

And with that, Sakura headed to Tomoyo's place. She even hurried thinking that the others might be there.
