Silver eyes glided along the landscape of the cobblestone pathways and roads. Silver tinted scales glistered in the light of the full moon. A sigh escaped the snout of the best, as the eyes looked towards the heavens, almost accusingly, as rain slowly came down from the black clouds. They went accusing when lightning struck less than a meter away from the paws. Silver eyes glanced down as a scream was heard, and the snout changed into something that could resemble a smirk.
Good, old Jack. The silver eyes glanced at the moon as it was uncovered again. If anyone had been looking at the chapel's rooftop, they would have seen a dragon take flight, and slowly disappear in a silver shimmer.

Yue slowly opened his eyes as his alarm buzzed at him, and rolled over in his bed. He felt his silver silk sheets slide off his legs and off the bed. He yawned and prolonged. He closed his eyes, but forgot to turn off his alarm, which was still buzzing accusingly at him.
With a small, jaded groan, the alarm clock was ripped off the bedside chest; power cord included, and was thrown into a wall. Yue watched as the small, silver device was broken into a few pieces, with a loud “bang”. His improved ears picked up the house-keeper and his sister running up the stairs to his room.
`Master Yue?' Kirsti-Anna, the house-keeper, asked as she stood in the doorway to the silver haired man's room, looking at the broken clock.
`Way to go, lucius,' Christina, the sister, said and walked into the room. She sat down on the bed and looked at Kirsti-Anna. `Don't worry about it, Kirsti-Anna, I'll take care of it.'
Kirsti-Anna nodded and cast a looked at the brother and sister. `Very well, Mistress Christina, Master Yue. Will I be making breakfast for two or one?'
`Two.' Christina watched as Kirsti-Anna left the doorway. `What was that about, lucius?' She turned her gold eyes to her brother's silver eyes.
Yue sighed and looked away. `Why do you keep calling me “light” when I am nothing but darkness?'
Christina smiled and shook her head. `All you need is to find someone you can connect with. When you find your mate, she'll make everything better. Besides, you really cant connect with your sister, can you?'
Yue raised a silver eyebrow, and smiled slightly. `You and Kirsti-Anna will only ever be the females in my life. I don't want a mate. I can barely handle two females that always gang up on me. What am I gonna do about three?'
Christina smirked, but looked innocent before her brother could see. `would you prefer a man with tanned skin, dark brown eyes, and matching hair?'
Yue frowned. Christina always had a way of predicting who would try to hit on her brother. Then again, even he could tell who found an interest in him. It was clear Kirsti-Anna did, but she was a few centuries too young. Now that he thought about it, everyone of this world was a few centuries too young for him and his sister. Then again, no-one was allowed to look twice at his sister. Of fear, and his reputation for “apparently killing” a few of Christina's dates, just for trying to get her into bed. He does glare at the males that try to kiss her on the cheek. And Lord help those who try to peck her on the lips. Christina was all Yue had left, and he wasn't about to lose her to anyone.
`Why that description? Someone you've seen around the city?' Yue knew the answer, and wasn't sure why he asked.
`Maybe. Anyway, its time for breakfast. I'll get you a new alarm clock later today.' She kissed his cheek and stood from the bed. `Try not to break this one as well.' She smiled as she left the room.
Yue slammed his head back down on the pillow, and stared at the silver silk that served as the top of his four poster bed. He tried to place a face with Christina's description, but nothing came up. He had no nose, and no mouth. He couldn't even place a body figure. He groaned and rolled over onto his stomach, only to stare at the silver silk pillow. I really must consider having different colors. He closed his eyes.
`Master Yue? Are you feeling well?' Kirsti-Anna stood in the doorway to his room again, and watched the silver haired man.
He reply was nothing but muffled “m's” and “n's”. He sat up and looked at Kirsti-Anna. `Yes, I'm fine, thank you.' He kept his sigh to himself as he got off the bed, and straightened his silver satin boxers. Yes, I really must think about using different colors.
He followed Kirsti-Anna down to the dining room, and sat at his respected place. He saw Christina's already eating her breakfast, and getting ready to help herself to more pancakes. Yue reached out, and like a striking snake, took the plate of pancakes, and stuck his tongue out at his sister.
`You always steal all the pancakes! I would be lucky if I can sniff the contain the batter was made in with you around.' He piled the last of the pancakes onto his plate and killed them in syrup.
`Kirsti-Anna, please, seat and eat with us.' Christina offered the place across the oak table to the house-keeper.
`Very much appreciated, Mistress Christina, but I have already eaten, merci.' Kirsti-Anna walked back into the kitchen with the empty plate that the pancakes were on in her hands. She came back out moments later with a new stake of pancakes.
Christina was almost drooling over the polished wood. `Kirsti-Anna, vous êtes un tel épargnant de vie!' She picked up five pancakes and placed them on her plate, leaving only three.
Yue only raised an eyebrow and took the last three pancakes. `Porc de crêpe,' he muttered and stuffed a quarter of a pancake into his mouth.
`What was that?' Christina held her fork in front of herself, almost as if she were jousting. `Say it again, I dare ya!'
`Porc de crêpe.' Yue made sure to pronounce each syllable, so Christina didn't miss a beat.
She ran it through her head and glared at her brother. `Secousse.'
Yue snorted. `Like you can talk. You're the one who keeps stealing all the pancakes. So give me one, decent, reason why I should not call you a “pancake hog”?' He smirked to himself, as he knew his little sister wouldn't be able to beat him.
Christina thought it over, while chewing on part of a pancake. `Quite simply, Yue, because you do it to me all the time, and now I am getting payback!' She stuck her tongue out and placed the rest of the pancake in her mouth.
Kirsti-Anna watched as the two siblings bantered. `Ce qui circule vient autour,' she said and took the empty plates into the kitchen.
Yue could only narrow his eyes dangerously at the only brunette in the house. `Oui, merci du ce, Kirsti-Anna.' Yue sighed and stood. `I'm going to get ready for work, ok?' He walked out of the dining room without waiting for his sister's reply.
Christina watched as her brother walked out of the room. She settled back against the high back of the leather and oak seat, before standing and walking into the kitchen. She looked through the icebox, and pulled out a can of diet Coke. She watched as Kirsti-Anna hummed to herself as she washed their dishes.
`Kirsti-Anna?' she asked cautiously, taking a sip of the drink, and looking at their house-keeper.
Kirsti-Anna turned her head to the side and looked at Christina from the corner of her eye. `Yes, Mistress Christina?' She placed the last plate on the dish-rack and dried her hands. `Is something troubling you?'
Christina nodded slightly. `Do you enjoy working for us? I mean, do we treat you right and with the respect you deserve?'
Kirsti-Anna laughed. `Oui, oui, Mistress Christina. I would rather work for you and your brother than for some spoilt brat.' She smiled and began drying the dishes. `Why do you ask, Mistress Christina?'
Christina shrugged. `I don't know. It just seems that sometimes you don't seem very happy. I mean, you've been working, without question, for us for the last nine years, and you don't have any complaints?'

Yue walked down the stairs in a pale gray suit; it was the closest he could get to silver, and slid into the awaiting silver limousine. He slumped against the seat and closed his eyes. He knew he shouldn't have gone back to eighteen eighty-eight. Time travel always did draw a lot of energy, but not nearly as much as if a Zyte did it during a full moon. Now he had to sit through a long day of staring at a computer screen and trying to stay awake.
`Philippe, can you take me to the café first, please?' Yue asked as he looked at his driver, and Kirsti-Anna's fiancé.
`Of course, Master Yue.' Philippe started the limousine, and drover off slowly, stopping to let another car through.
Yue stared out the tinted window, feeling bored. He exhaled shortly as he watched the well-known surroundings flash past. He looked up as they entered the heart of the city. For some reason, even unknown to himself, Yue ran his hands through his hair, trying to make it as neat as possible. He looked around the large area of the limousine, and finally found the comb Christina had left in there once. He ran it through his long strands, and flicked it back over his shoulder.
Yue stepped out of the limousine slowly. He looked through the large window of the café, and saw that it wasn't as crowded as he thought. Just a few people sitting at the counter, and three people occupying a booth. He turned back, and stuck his head into the open the door, which he wasn't sure if he was going to close.
`I should only be twenty minutes, Philippe. You can do whatever you wish in that time. Just be sure to meet me back here.' He smiled slightly and closed the door. He walked towards the café, and saw his reason for sudden nervousness and wanting to look good.
Standing behind the café's counter was a tall man, just over the age of eighteen maybe. His skin was tanned, with dark brown hair and matching eyes. His eyes locked with Yue as he walked in, a carefree smile making its way to his taunting lips. He raised a well kept, dark eyebrow, as he noticed that the silver eyed beast hadn't moved a muscle since stepping into the store.
Yue noticed this, and walked up to the counter. He noticed that the dark eyed beauty was wearing faded jeans, a black muscle shirt, which showed off his well toned biceps and abs, and a white apron with the café's name on it. Yue placed a blank look on his face, as he stared into the dark orbs that he knew would haunt his dreams for as long as he lived.
`Hi, what can I get ya?' The voice was strong, but not too deep. A voice that Yue would love to fall asleep to.
`Strong coffee, thank you. Please do make me elaborate on how strong I want it. I would also like two jelly doughnuts.' Yue watched as the dark teen nodded, turned around and squatted down to get his doughnuts. He must have smiled and licked his lips, because the man he was standing next to, snorted.
`We've all been there, done that, got the t-shirt and video.' He sipped at his coffee and looked Yue up and down.
Yue turned to the man who addressed him, and smirked. `Been there, done that, got the t-shirt and video, and sold them for profit. Do I know you?'
`Probably not. Uptown boys, like you, wouldn't want to know downtown scum like us.' He sipped his coffee again, before he looked into Yue's silver eyes. `Stephan.'
Yue couldn't help but snicker at the emphasis the man put on “boys”. In all truth, yes, he could be classified as a boy, which he wasn't though. He was a good six hundred years old, but didn't look a day over nineteen.
He sat down beside Stephan, and inclined his head at the man behind the counter. `Yue.' He frowned when he saw recognition flicker through Stephan's blue eyes. `Yes, Yue. As in “Yue's Stock-broking” and “Yue's Lawyer Co.” Something wrong with that?'
Stephan shook his head, and continued to sip his drink. `Not in the slightest, Mr. Yue. Just didn't think someone that high would be seen in a café like this. Don't they have mobile stores that drive out to your work and offer a three course lunch?'
Yue laughed. `I wish! It would save me having to call my driver every four hours to come and pick me up, and take me to some half way decent place.' He looked up when his coffee and doughnuts were placed before him. `Thank you.'
`That will be-' Touya was cut off by sound of screeching tires, and screams from the females in the café as the car was heading for the front window.
No-one had time to think as the car came through the window, hitting the three people who were sitting there, and made its way towards the counter. Touya stood there, dumbfounded, until his felt strong arms around his waist and silver covering his vision. He looked up as the car crashed through the counter, barely an inch from his head. He looked into the silver eyes of his savior. He also couldn't ignore the fact that his lips were against the silver haired man's.
Touya swallowed, and relaxed the grip he didn't know he had on the silver haired man's shoulders. He moved his hands down to the slightly taller man's waist. He felt safe, warm, and wanted in the stranger's arms, which were around his shoulders, obviously to protect the back of his skull, as they fell to the floor. He felt the stranger move his arms, as if to get up, and he did something he never thought he would do, he tightened his arms around the stranger's waist, and pressed their lips together.
Yue gasped at the boy's sudden motion, and gave the boy the perfect opportunity to slid his tongue into his mouth, and search. He moaned softly at the taste of the boy's tongue in his mouth. He tasted sweet, and spicy, as if he had just eaten a cinnamon doughnut. Yue's eyes slid shut, and let the boy ravage his mouth.
Touya pulled back and opened his dark chocolate eyes slowly. He slowly met the stranger's lustful gaze, and knew his own probably looked similar. `Thank you,' he whispered.
Yue smirked. `For the kiss or the rescue?' He removed his arms and stood, pulling the boy up with him. He held the boy's hands with his own, and looked deep into his eyes. He knew that the boy was about to say “both”, but they both knew it was really for the kiss.
`Both. If you hadn't rescued me, I wouldn't have been able to enjoy the best kiss of my life.' Touya ran a hand through his dark hair, and removed any wood or glass.
Yue watched as Touya nipped his forefinger on a piece of glass in hair. Yue took the hand and slowly sucked on the finger, ignoring everyone who was walking into the busted café. `Are you two alright?' an officer asked.
Touya and Yue looked over at him, and nodded. `I need to get home.' Touya stepped away from Yue, but felt a cool hand around his own sweating one.
Yue shook his head. `Come back to my place.' Yue lifted Touya over the counter, and hopped over himself. `My driver should be back soon.'
`Sir, we would like to check you for shock, please?'
Yue looked down at the, particularly ugly, woman who was talking to him and Touya. He smiled. `No.' He took Touya's hand, and led him out of the broken café.
Touya knew he was in shock. Not only did the stranger not push him away when he was kissed, but was also taking him to his house. He looked down at the pale hand, that was holding his own, and frowned slightly.
Yue sensed Touya's uneasiness, and perplexity. He turned towards the dark haired boy, and raised an eyebrow in question. `Is everything alright, Toya?'
Touya noticed that missing sound in his name, as the silver haired man said it. `Yeah, everything's alright. I just feel really tired.' He felt a secure arm twine its way around his waist, as he stumbled.
Yue looked at his ride, and quickly, but also delicately, shoved Touya into the backseat. `Nous avons un frais supplémentaires, et j'ai besoin de vous pour devenir à la maison sur le double.'
Philippe nodded. `Oui, Yue Principal.' He pulled away from the broken café, and headed back into the country.
Touya looked out the window. `Wait! Where are we going?'
Yue looked at Touya with dead eyes. `Some place where you will be safe.' Yue gently relaxed Touya's head onto his lap, and stared out the window of the limousine.
