Forbidden Love Chapter 5




Sakura opened her eyes slowly, trying to get used to the light in her room. She had woke up eariler to the warm sunlight bathing her cheeks but lay in bed to savour the aftermath of her ... dream? Is a dream? Had Yue-san really told her he loves her? Shutting her eyes to shade herself from the glaring sunlight and reality, she hoped against hope that it was true.

With a small sigh, she opened her eyes and stretched her arms, yawning before falling straight into the soft, warm bed, trying to catch a few more winks of sleep and remembrance of her dream. As she reached her hand out for the soft pillow, her eye caught sight of something familiar. A silver white feather, lying beside her pillow. blinking her eyes a few more times in surprise before picking up the feather with utmost care. Craddling the feather in her hands, she smiled blissfully. It was true. Yue-san loves her. It was not a dream. Feeling like the happiest person on earth, she danced around her room, with the feather in her hands, all the while smiling and chanting, "Yue-san... Yue-san...."

Touya was making breakfast when Sakura came running down the stairs. "Konichiwa Otousan, Oniisan!!" Touya was amazed by the cheerfulness he sensed in Sakura. Something must have happened the last night, he thought. "Konichiwa Sakura!" "Ooi Kaiju, so early ? I thought Kaiju need to sleep more then pe..." He broke off as Sakura stomped hard at Touya's feet. " I AM NOT A KAIJU !!!" Groaning in pain as he held his feet in his hands, Touya wondered why kami-sama gave him such a violent sister. < Well.. At least she is back to normal... > Touya thought silently as he chomps on his pancake. The brother and sister made their way to the door after saying goodbye to their father. While Sakura tugged on her skates, Touya brought out his bicycle.

<I wonder... Yue must have done something yesterday to make such a change in Sakura... I wonder what could that be.. Speaking of Yue, I wonder how is Yuki..> Touya thought.

Thinking of the gray hair boy with doe brown eyes, Touya felt his heart beat faster. He always had a thing for the shorter boy. He had knew long ago that Yuki wasn't human, yet he could not stop the attraction between him and his best friend. He had often wondered what Yuki would have thought if he had told his best friend that he loved him. However, when he knew that Yuki was going to disappear from the world, he could not care less. He had to save Yuki... He would not let Yuki disappear! Of course Yuki was suprised when Touya told him he wasn't human. But, when Yue showed up and told him that he had a special place in Yuki's heart, he was both surprised and elated. After the power exchange, he fainted.

When he opened his eyes, he found himself staring into soft, chocolate eyes full of concern, worry and... and something else... He continued staring into the endless pool of chocolate until Yuki's cheeks turned red and tore away from his gaze. "Yuki..." He tried to speak but found himself tiring even by saying Yuki's name. "To-ya.. You must rest. You are not used to the absence of your power and is rather weak.. Sleep To-ya, I will take care of you..." Unable to stop his eyelids from shutting down, he closed his eyes. Just before he fell into a deep slumber, he felt a kiss at his forehead, and a whisper of love...

When Touya woke up the next day, it was already the afternoon. Prying his eyelids open, he found Yuki sitting by his bed, silently, as if he had not moved an inch since he fell asleep. "To-ya.." "Yuki..." he whispered, still half asleep. Reaching out his right hand, he caressed Yuki's cheeks, making sure that the form standing in front of him was real. " Yuki.. You are still here...You have not disappeared.." He felt as if a huge rock had been lifted from his chest as relief flow through him.

The depressed gaze of Yuki held his eyes. Touya felt saddened by the grief he saw in his beloved eyes. Holding his hand against his cheek, Yuki started. " ... I... I am not human... I don't have a grandma.. or a grandpa... I wasn't a transferred student either.. There are times when I could not remember what had happened... That's because I had changed into someone else... Till now, all the memeories I had.. They... They were all unreal..." The crestfallen face of Yuki hurted him.. Hurt Touya much more than anything... He could not bear to have Yuki hurting like this... Guiding Yuki's face, he forced Yuki to look at him.

"But after you've met me, all the memeories you had are real... It doesn't matter to me that you are not human.. All I want is to have you with me.. Like always... Smiling happily or staring into empty spaces... "

Yuki's dispirited eyes widen in surprise before changing into melted gold.. Smiling radiantly, he gazed down at Touya's amber eyes..."Thank You.. To-ya.."

" Yuki..."

"To-ya?"

"I... I... I love you Yuki..." Touya turned his gaze away from Yuki, not wanting to face the look of disgust in his beloved face. Shutting his eyes, he mentally scolded himself for making such a stupid mistake. It would be all his fault if Yuki decide never to speak to him again. A pair of cool hands landed lightly on his face. Turning his head, he saw Yuki regarding him with loving eyes full of emotions.

"And I you.. To-ya.." To-ya couldn't believed his ears.. Had Yuki just said he loved him too? His heart almost burst with happiness...

Touya could see Yuki waiting for him at the end of the road, his heart beating with excitment when he saw his friend. His soft gray hair was flying around him, his fawn eyes shimmering under the sunlight. "Oooi Yuki !!"

"Ohayo To-Ya, Sakura-chan!!!" Yukito shouted.

As Touya and Sakura reached Yukito, Yue found himself unable to take his gaze away from Sakura. Of course, Yukito pose a problem. Since he was the real form, he knew what the false form was thinking about and he had long known of the love Yukito had for Touya. While he wished he could stare at Sakura's beautiful face for a longer time, Yukito wanted to look at Touya. Silently, he sighed. He did wish Yukito to be happy and Touya love Yukito. Looking one last time at Sakura, he sent a telepathy message to Sakura with his magic before letting the glowing wings take him to sleep...

Sakura found herself searching for Yue-san in Yukito-san and was disappointed when she could not find any reaction in Yukito-san that reminded her of the night before. Obviously Yue-san was asleep... Sakura thought as she glanced at Yukito-san giving a loving glance at her Onii-san. She had known that Yukito-san loved her brother when Yukito rejected her in the star way. Yukito had admitted to her that he loved her brother. Though she had felt dejected that she was not the person Yukito love, she was happy for Yukito-san that he had found his true love, her brother... She also knew at that time that she had not loved Yukito the way she thought she had. She loved Yukito-san as a brother, as part of the family.. The person she had loved all along was not Yukito.. Not at all.. It has been, and always will be ... Yue-san...

A message broke her thoughts.. She could feel the cool, enchanting voice of her loved. < Sakura... we'll meet again tonight... I promise... > A surge of happiness flow through her and Sakura felt she could take on anything in the world.. Tonight... Tonight... I can't wait for the day to be over...

Looking at her Oniisan and Yukito-san, she could see the both of them looking adoringly at each other. Sakura knew that though Yue-san and Yukito-san were the same person, they had different souls.. Yukito-san had found his love and peace with her Oniisan.. Yue-san.. Yue-san... He loves me.. Sudden thought of what happened last night made Sakura's face turned flaming red.. Tentatively, Sakura brought her fingers to her lips... Yue-san kissed me last night... Smiling in remembrance, she skated down the road behind Yukito and Touya. <Tonight... Yue.. Koishi.. Tonight..>

Sakura lie awake at night. Looking at the black and white patterns dancing on the ceiling, she counted the minutes that were passing by so slowly. She was still in her nightdress. The lights were switched off. Everything in the room was illuminated by pure white moonlight. As the hands of the clock strike twelve, Sakura jumped off the bed in excitement. She listened for any noise that may alert her of anyone coming to check on her but heard none. She took off the key around her neck and held it in her hands. The key glowed in white as Sakura began the enchant...

The little pink key pendant with wings grew longer, into a long staff with a winged star at the end. The wand itself was a work of art. The light golden star was surrounded by a pink hoop, where elegant silver wings were attached to both sides of the hoop. The star was connected to the long and slender staff by a dark gold rim with a bright red ruby in the middle of the gold tip. The wand of the Stars...

Holding the wand at end, Sakura took out a card from the Sakura book. " Mirror, please reflect my image.. MIRROR !"

A girl with a white kinomo and pale green hair, holding a mirror in her hand appeared before she reflected Sakura and appeared in the mirror image of Sakura, dressed in her nightdress.

Smiling brightly at the girl, Sakura said, "Mirror, I need to go out tonight.. Can you please stay in my room in case onii-san decided to check on me? He would be so worried if he realize I am not in bed..."

" Sakura Mistress, is it Clow-sama ?"

Blushing to the roots of her hair, Sakura stared down at her feet, unable to say this while looking straight in the eye of herself..

" I.. erm.. I am going out with on a date...."

" A date? What is that ? "

" It means going out with someone you like..."

Sensing her mistress have trouble saying who the person is, the girl kept quiet, though she really want to know who is the person that caught her card mistress's heart.

" .... Since he is coming, I might as well as tell you... He.. He is Yue-san..."

Mirror smiled. So Yue-sama had finally told Sakura mistress that he loves her.

" Well, I better change now.."

Sakura pulled out a mauve coloured silk dress. When Tomoya heard that Sakura was going on a date later that night and the date was Yue, she was so excited for Sakura. Though a date with Yue means Tomoyo would not have any chance of videotaping the first date of Sakura, she said that no matter what, she must design a dress for Sakura to wear for her first date.

The dress was in different shades of purple. The edges of the dress was dark bluish purple, the underlayer a light blue purple and the top layer, violet with little sakura embroidery at the bottom left hand corner. A dark purple sash with the same shaded as the edges of the dress was tied around her waist, making a big beautiful bow at the back. At the end of the sash was the same embroidery the dress had at the bottom of the dress. White lace was sewn at the edges of the deep neck collar and the end of the skirt. Tomoyo had really outdone herself this time..

" Mirror, what do you think? " Sakura asked the girl sitting at the edge of her bed, watching her fussed with her dress. Mirror looked at Sakura. Though Sakura was as pretty as possible, she could help but feel that something was missing. She caught sight of a silver ribbon lying on the side table of the bed. She picked it up and asked Sakura mistress to sit on the bed while she did her hair.

Mirror brushed the soft brown hair of her mistress separating a part of her hair from the right side of her parting. She braided the bit of hair and weaves the silver ribbon in between it. Tying the braid half the length of her hair, she circled the ribbon at the end of the braid before tying a knot to hold the braid in place. The remaining silver ribbon cascaded down her hair, reflecting the moonlight as the wind playing with Sakura's hair.

" Sakura mistress, you look beautiful.."

" Really? Thanks..."

Walking to the opened window, Sakura felt the cool night breeze blew into her face. The moon, like always, showered sliver light through the opened window. A flutter of wings announced Yue's presence.

Floating just outside the window, was Yue in person... He was wearing his usual robes, Purple, white and yellow. Sakura felt a breath caught in her throat. Yue was so .. so dashing in his ceremonial robes, his silver hair tied in a low pony tail flowing like molten silver behind his back, snowy white wings fluttering, creating little winds that made his hair float around...

Yue felt the same way as Sakura did. Sakura was so beautiful. In her purple dress, which he suspected that Tomoyo had made especially for her, she looked like an angel sent from heaven. Her hair was floating around her, the silver ribbon flapping with the wind. Sakura was stunning...

Silently, Sakura asked Fly to give her wings so that she could fly with Yue-san. Silvery pink wings grew form her back, allowing her to join Yue outside of the window. Slowly, she spread her wings and flew out of the window.. towards Yue..

As Yue watched Sakura's pink wings grew from her back, he felt more and more in love with her.. his mistress... If he had thought she was an angel sent from above before, she was a goddess now, with her silvery pink wings , her hair floating behind her as she flew towards him, a smile gracing her captivating face.

" Yue-san..." Sakura whispered breathlessly at Yue, unable to prevent her heart from beating twice its speed.

" Sakura... You looked wonderful tonight.." Yue answered, unable to take his eyes off her.

Sakura blushed. Yue thought Sakura looked even more beautiful when blushing.

" Shall we? " Yue asked, helding his hand out for Sakura.

With a bashful nod, Sakura took Yue's hand. Yue's hand was cool from the midnight winds, but Sakura felt the warmth of Yue's love through his palm.

The two lovers took off, both spreading their wings and fly into the endless starry night, with the cool moon above them, showering them with cool moonbeams.

Sooooooooooo Soorrry i got the Japanese terms wrong.... Gomen gomen.. I onli noe a bit of the jap terms ... Oops.. =P Thanks for the correction !Also, sumimasen for taking so long as well... I had a tough week.. Badminton training and Amaths retest... Yes.. i failed my Amaths... Sigh... The next chapter may take a bit longer as i am going off a trip to malaysia next week.. Soo.. I will try to find ideas for my next chapter.. I hope you like this chapter... i broke off before the date coz the chapter is getting a bit too long.. Maybe the next chapter... hehe.. You like the idea of Tomoyo making a special dress for Sakura's first date? I invented the dress.. Do you guys like it? Please tell me K ?? Thanks... Also.. pls read and review~~!!!!!!! Yue and Sakura RULZZ!~~!!~~!!!! I kinda like Yuki with Touya too.. I find them cute together though some of my frends find it a bit weird at the guy and guy couple thing... Hmm.. K lar...
