Chapter two: Diagon Alley

Sakura shivered, she could still feel that obese boys hands running over her body, Syaoran stopped and looked at her worriedly.

"Are you cold?" he asked, Sakura shook her head and frowned.

"No," then looking at Harry "who was that boy?" she asked not holding in her disgust for the monster. Harry turned his green eyes to green and smiled.

"That's my cousin, Dudley, I hate him too." Sakura nodded her head in definite understanding and they stopped at his door. "They wouldn't let you stay in the guest room so Im sorry but your going to have to stay in mine, I didn't get much notice about you coming and all." Syaoran snorted

"Neither did we." Harry looked at the tall boy with messy brown hair and piercing amber eyes and smiled.

"Well at least we have something in common," he said half jokingly. Syaoran smirked at him and that was the closest thing that came to a smile for any one other then Sakura.

Opening the door the three magicians stood in the doorway and looked around the room. There were three beds that were almost put together, but it looked tidy and well looked after. Sakura smiled and walked into the room and placed herself near the window, she had gotten into the habit of looking up at the stars at night, that was where most of her power came from and she loved just looking up at the immensity of it. Syaoran followed her and took the remaining bed that was in the middle but more importantly was next to Sakura's.

"Oh and I didn't know there was going to be a girl so err, Im sorry about you being in the same room as two boys." Harry said embarrassedly. Sakura just shrugged it off and smiled at him.

"I don't mind, so tell me what Hogwarts is like" she said making herself comfortable on the bed. Harry hadn't noticed before but Sakura was beautiful, she had large green eyes and a small delicate nose with pouting lips that were a cherry colour. Her Auburn hair was long and in two plats and her body was lithe and she was rather small. Something about her eyes though seemed familiar. `Where have I seen them before?' (And no not in the mirror) shaking off the thought he sat on his own bed and thought for a while.

"Its very big, like a huge castle, there are so many rooms and they change most of them, there are hundreds of staircases and the teachers are alright, though a little strict. There are ghosts-" he was cut off by Sakura's scream and when he looked over at her she was under her quilt shuddering. Syaoran was laughing at her while Harry looked on thinking maybe he'd said something wrong. Syaoran came to his rescue.

"She's scared of ghosts," he said while getting off his bed and going over to Sakura. "There are no ghosts here Sakura and they cant hurt you anyway, I wont let them." Sakura stopped her shaking and her head came out of the covers, both boys hearts stopped, she looked so adorable.

"You promise?" she whispered. Syaoran nodded his head.

"I promise." Sakura got out of her covers and held out her pinky. Syaoran held out his too and the both linked their pinkies in a pinky promise. Harry looked on a little confused, they'd been talking in a different language, he had realised that the boy knew more English then Sakura and he could hear the definite accent they both had, it was rather exciting having them staying at his house in HIS room. `Wait until I tell Ron' he thought and chuckled softly. Sakura was now back to her normal cheery composition while Syaoran went back to his bed and continued to be his sullen self.

The rest of the day Sakura slept and Syaoran and Harry told stories about their lives before. Syaoran was amazed to find out that Harry was someone important in the wizarding world. He had never heard of Voldermort which was strange, `maybe we were never a threat' Syaoran thought while he looked over at Sakura who was still sleeping.

"So what about Sakura? What background does she have?" Harry asked also looking at Sakura.

"She's the daughter of well used to be most powerful wizard Clow Reed just as I am his descendant, her brother Touya has some magical properties but not much, she is the Sakura cards mistress and about as powerful as I am." Harry watched as Syaoran looked back at the sleeping Sakura "but I don't know how" he said with a sly grin "she's always sleeping" both Harry and Syaoran laughed quietly, Sakura sure was a deep sleeper and they had both assumed that she would snore like an ogre (I read that somewhere) and be lounged on her bed since she was such a messy person from the state of her side of the room was in, but they had been wrong, she slept curled up and only her head was showing. Both smiled as they watched her.

"Oh, how do you make that sword come out?" Harry asked excitedly. Syaoran smirked and pulled out his pendant and concentrating he made it turn into his sword. Harry gasped and went to touch it. It was sharp and he could feel power radiating off of it.

"Its magnificent" he breathed and Syaoran handed it to him. "Can you show me some moves?" he asked excitedly like he was an eleven-year-old boy again. Syaoran stood up and moved a little away from Harry and closed his eyes. A kata formed in the back of his mind as his breathing slowed. Then moving slowly at fist and then faster Syaoran executed swipes and arcs jabs and twists with his sword expertly. When he was Finished Harry's mouth was hanging open. "Can Sakura do that?" he asked amazed, Syaoran snorted in amusement.

"Probably with the sword card but not without it, she'd probably cut herself." Harry chuckled.

"So have you got your supplies yet?" Harry asked getting up off his bed and going over to his drawer.

"No, have you?" Harry shook his head.

"I was hoping you hadn't that was we can go together." Syaoran nodded his head and took out his sheet of what he needed to get.

"You'll probably have to get what the first years get as well," Harry was saying as he was searching through his desk. "Here it is, its got robes and cauldrons and wands and the like, standard first year garb" Syaoran went over to look at it.

"When should we go?" Syaoran asked still studying the paper. Harry grinned.

"Tomorrow, ill go and tell my uncle now." With that Harry ran towards the door. "I can't believe how scared they looked when you can barging through the door with a sword in hand, that is imprinted in my mind forever." With that Harry went down stairs laughing at the image. Syaoran smiled slightly and put his sword away. HE had found out why Harry now lived with his relatives and was actually sorry for him; both had gotten off to a great start. `Sakura would be proud of me, making friends and not scowling like I usually do' grinning he went slowly over to where Sakura was sleeping. `You are beautiful Sakura, more then you'll ever know, how I wish we were more then friends' Syaoran stopped his train of thought when he realised that he was brushing a strand away from Sakuras face and blushed lightly. `I'll have to watch myself from now on' shaking his head Syaoran went to his own bed, it was almost time for dinner and he was starving, he had tried to stay away from the airline food so he hadn't eaten much.

Mr Dursley stood there looking up at the now taller Harry

"Fine Ill take you, but if your little friends do anything to annoy me they're out of here along with you got that?" Vernon asked his face rather red from holding in his anger/fear. Harry nodded his head and smiled.

"Of course" and with that he went upstairs. "Oh and is dinner almost done?" he asked poking his head back into the lounge where his uncle was. Vernon nodded his head "excellent" Harry stated and hurried back to his room to tell Syaoran and Sakura.

Sakura woke form her sleep still sleepy but she was hungry and hurried down the stairs with Syaoran and Harry. The food smelled delicious and all three sat down and waited for Dudley and Vernon to sit down so they could start to eat. Sakura shuddered when she saw Dudley and glared at him, Syaoran also glared and moved slightly close rot Sakura to protect her if he had to. Harry also glared at Dudley, he hated Dudley but for actually doing what he did to his new friend that was unthinkable and so along with Sakura and Syaoran Harry death glared at the fat, chubby lard of a boy that was sitting across from the three magicians.

"This is lovely Mrs Dursley." Sakura said once they had begun to eat. Petunia shivered and smiled thinly at Sakura

"Thankyou dear" she said, her voice shaking. Syaoran looked over at Sakura who was eating everything in sight.

"You know, your not like most girls, you eat more like a guy." Sakura stopped her eating gave Syaoran a glare, a punch in the arm and then continued eating while Syaoran and Harry were laughing.

"Oh shut up both of you and eat, or ill eat it for you" eyes wide both boys took the threat seriously and they scoffed down their food quickly to avoid it being taken by the very hungry Sakura.

After finishing her meal Sakura excused herself and went to the bathroom for a quick shower before pulling on her sheep pyjamas and crawling into bed she looked out at the Stars and smiled before her eyes lids became too heavy and she drifted off to sleep.

THE NEXT DAY 6.30 am

Sakura jumped out of bed and got into a fighting stance when she had heard crashing around the room, still blinking away the sleep she got a better look at what was going on. There stood Syaoran looking at Sakura funny while Harry was blushing.

"What?" she asked tilting her head to the side. Syaoran nodded to her and Sakura looked down at herself then back at Syaoran in confusion. "You've seen me in my pyjamas before Syaoran I don't see.." Sakura stopped herself as she realised what he was pointing at, only two of her buttons were done up and the rest were undone showing off her tanned, flat stomach and a little bit of cleavage. Shrieking she pulled to covers around her.

"HENTAIS the both of you" she yelled in Japanese Syaoran sighed while Harry looked confused, a blush still on his face. Sakura did up the rest of her buttons and glared at the boys. "You could have looked away," she said through clenched teeth. "Your lucky Touya isn't here" Syaoran gulped and Harry still looked confused, Sakura didn't know much English so she was saying this all in Japanese so only Syaoran could understand.

"What she's saying is that were perverts and that were lucky her brother isn't here and I agree with her, though not about the pervert bit." Syaoran translated for Harry.

"Why are we lucky that her brothers not here? You said he didn't know much magic" Syaoran looked at the still flustered Sakura

"That's true but her brother knows martial arts and could wipe the floor with us" Harry took a step back and turned to Sakura.

"Im sorry, I wasn't thinking." Sakura nodded her head accepting the apology and she looked over at Syaoran waiting for his. Syaoran just shrugged.

"I didn't do anything" he said and went back to making his bed when a pillow was thrown at him and he was tackled.

"Didn't do anything? Didn't do anything? You were looking at me when I was half naked." Sakura cried hitting Syaoran with her tiny fists. Syaoran sighed and pinned Sakura beneath him.

"You weren't half naked and I didn't see anything now go and get dressed, were going to go and get our school things today." Sakura struggled under his grip and growled.

"Well get off me then so I CAN" Sakura puffed and pouted when she waited for him to get off her. Syaoran laughed and slowly let go of Sakura who scrambled out from under him and kicked him in the side. "Don't do that again Hentai" she said and stormed out of the room, to get ready in the bathroom.

Harry looked at Syaoran and smirked.

"What was that about?" he asked Syaoran just shrugged.

"Sakura isn't a morning person and neither am I, but she's worse then me by a long shot. I think we should have been more quiet." Harry shook his head and threw a pillow at Syaoran who ducked and grinned.

"Come on, let's get ready while Sakura's not here." Harry suggested and they both got into their clothes and waited for Sakura down stairs while they had their breakfast.

Harry, Sakura and Syaoran were sitting in the back of Mr Dursleys car on their way to the city. Vernon dropped them in an alley and sped off away from them.

"So where to now?" Syaoran asked as they looked around. Harry pointed in one direction.

"We have to get to the leaky cauldron. That leads into Diagon Alley" Both Sakura and Syaoran just looked at Harry and followed him onto the buys streets of London.

AT THE LEAKY CAULDRON

Tom the bartender was cleaning some glasses then who other then Harry Potter walked though the front door and smiled up at him.

"Morning Tom"

"Morning Harry" Tom replied and peered at the two kids Harry was with. "Who're these Harry?" he asked pointing his tea towel at the two new comers.

"Sakura Kinomoto and Syaoran Li from Japan, they're exchange students cool huh?" Harry said and sat down a stool, Sakura and Syaoran followed. Harry turned to them "this is Tom, he owns the Leaky cauldron." Sakura smiled and held out her hand

"Its nice to meet you sir" She stated and nudged Syaoran to do the same. Grudgingly Syaoran held out his hand and they shook. Tom looked on happily.

"How long you staying here Harry?" Harry shrugged and looked around that the occupants, there were a few witches but that was about all.

"Not long, just here to pick up school things." Harry said and got off the stool. "See ya later Tom" Tom nodded his head and watched as Harry led Sakura and Syaoran away into the courtyard.

Sakura looked around confused, Harry had led them into a courtyard that led nowhere and he was now counting bricks. `This is very weird.' Looking at Syaoran he also looked confused until Harry shouted with glee.

"Found it" Both Sakura and Syaoran looked at him like he had lost his mind or something. Tapping the brick three times with his wand Harry stood back as an archway formed and behind the wall there was a street filed with weirdly dressed people walking around chatting to each other. "Come on then" Harry said and started walking into Diagon Alley with Sakura and Syaoran just a little behind.

Both Sakura and Syaoran couldn't stop staring at all the weird and strange things,

"It's a street of magic" everywhere she went she could feel the magical presence of things.

"Well go and get your money first. You both have a key don't you." Sakura looked perplexed yet again but Syaoran took out the letter Eriol had given to him and took out two keys. One was Clow's vault and the other one was the Li vault, he had never known that the Li's had a vault but oh well. Syaoran handed the key to Clow's vault to Sakura and they headed towards Gringotts. Sakura started as she saw the goblins and moved instinctively closer to Syaoran. They went up to the doors and Sakura stood and read the words on the door out loud.

"Enter, stranger, but take heed

Of what awaits the sin of greed,

For those who take, but do not earn,

Must pay most dearly in their turn,

So if you seek beneath our floors,

A treasure that was never yours,

Thief, you have been warned, beware

Of finding more then treasure there."

Sakura smiled at the goblin. `Well at least they look after their money properly and I like the sound of the passage, it makes me feel safe that there won't be any robbers anywhere near me.' A pair of Goblins bowed the trio inside the doors where once inside stood in a large marble hall. Goblins were siting at high desks writing with feather pens and there was a vast amount of people standing around and waiting to exchange money. Harry led Sakura and Syaoran to the counter to a free goblin.

"Hi, we've come to take some money out" he said and took out his key before the goblin could ask for it. Nodding his head the goblin motioned for Sakura to show hers. Smiling she put the silver key on the counter. The goblin looked at it closely and then gasped. Sakura looked on puzzled `have I done something wrong?' she thought but the goblin stopped himself and gave the key back to Sakura looking at her strangely. Then he motioned for Syaoran to hand his over.

"They all seem to be in order" the Goblin stated and gave Sakura another funny look before turning his head slightly "I'll get someone to take you to the three vaults. Stinglefork" another goblin raced forwards and nodded for all three of them to follow him. Sakura looked at Harry.

"Why did they look at me funny?" she asked slightly worried.

"Don't worry, they look at most people funny" Harry comforted and they all went through another set of doors, inside Sakura watched in awe as they went down through the stone halls that were lighted by torches, there were little railway tracks that led off in different directions.

"Wow" Sakura stated, `no wonder no one tried to rob this place, you'd get lost.' The goblin grinned over at Sakura.

"First time?" Sakura nodded her head and they followed Stinglefork to an empty cart. "Show us your keys," he said. Looking at them he gasped when he came to Sakuras.

"What?" she asked `why is everyone gasping all the time'

"Well err, go to yours first" he said and they all piled into the cart and waited for Stinglefork. Shaking his head the goblin got in and they were off headed down the middle track. Just after a short burst of speed they stopped outside one of the doors that had the number one on it. Stinglefork for out and waited.

Sakura got out and opened the door with her key. The door swung open and everyone present gasped.

"That's more then what Ive got," Harry muttered. Inside it was filled with golden galleons, silver sickles and bronze knuts, there were diamonds and other precious jewels scattered everywhere, the vault was HUGE, there were mountains of treasure everywhere. Sakura just stood there in shock. The goblin cleared his throat and Sakura shook out of her daze and began to fill up her bag with a little of everything. Just as she was about to leave she saw a letter in the far corner that was addressed to her. Picking it up she stuffed it into her pocket and locked the door behind her. They were then off to Harry's Vault.

They reached Harry's vault that was deep within the various twists and turns of the underground bank. Harry opened the door and took what he needed, though his was also filled with a large sum of money it was in no way a match for Sakura's. Syaorans vault was almost like Sakura's except it wasn't as big and it had now jewels. Shaking his head in awe Harry sat back in the cart and waited for Syaoran to come back. Once they were all inside they were speeding off again through the tunnels and dark passages, past the underground lake and back to where they had started. Sakura was grinning and her eyes were wide with the excitement of the ride, Syaoran looked rather impressed and Harry was still dumbfounded that the two exchange students were richer then him, and not just rich, they must be the richest witch and wizard in the world, and he knew them. Smiling at his newfound friends they left Gringotts smiling and with bags full of gold at their waists.

"Where to Harry?" Sakura asked looking around eagerly. Harry shrugged.

"I suppose we'll get all the school gear first and then go off for some fun, come on, we'll go and get some robes, I need new ones too." So the three friends headed off in the direction of Madam Malkin's Robes for All Occasions.

Sakura, Harry and Syaoran all walked inside and waited for Madam Malkin to come to see them. She came bustling around the corner looking harassed.

"Hogwarts I suspect" she stated and continued on her way "just go around to the back" all three exchanged looks before doing what the witch said. In the back they go a shock for their lives, there were about twenty of so people getting fitted all at once, and everyone was for new Hogwarts uniforms. Harry spotted Neville Longbottom in the crowd with a rather scary looking old woman with him.

"Oi Neville" Harry shouted, almost everyone turned to look at him, there were mostly Griffindors and Hufflepuffs there and they all turned and greeted Harry, Neville got away from his grandmother and came over.

"How are you doing Harry?" Neville asked eyes the two new people that were near Harry.

"Oh Im alright, these are new exchange students from Japan, that's Sakura Kinomoto and this here is Syaoran Li" Neville smiled and shook both their hands

"Its great to meet you, so how do you like London so far?" he asked all excited.

"I like it very much thankyou" Sakura said sweetly while Syaoran just scowled.

"Its too crowded in here" he stated and Sakura just rolled her eyes.

"As long as you don't kill anybody we'll be fine" she stated and began to laugh when Syaoran's scowl deepened.

After a very long time in the robes shop Harry, Syaoran and Sakura all had new uniforms for the year.

"Where to now?" she asked looking around.

"Im hungry, you want ice-cream?" Harry asked and didn't wait for an answer; he just pulled Sakura and Syaoran after him.

There were so many books in flourish and Blotts that it was hard to drag Syaoran away, he had been looking at the curses for a very long time. Sakura just scowled.

"You shouldn't be thinking of doing that kind of stuff to other people, its very rude?" Syaoran just stuck his tongue out at Sakura and they headed off to the apothecary to get their things for potions with professor Snape.

"Wands" Harry stated realising that his friends didn't have wands, "we should have gone there first" shaking his head in reprimand for his slow brain Harry headed off to Ollivanders: makers of Fine Wands since 382 BC.

Mr Ollivander was very happy to see Harry again and they both talked while Sakura was getting herself measured but a floating measuring tape. Snapping his fingers the measuring tape fell to the ground and Mr Ollivander pulled out a wand for Sakura to try.

"Mahogany wand, Eleven inches, unicorn hair, pliable, just give it a swish dear," Sakura did as was told awkwardly and before she even finished the wand was taken out of her hand. "No, no I don't think so, hmm how about his, oak wood, nine inches, dragon heartstring, nice and bendy." Sakura once again had it taken away from her. "Hmm well lets see, how about this one, unusual pairing "ash, phoenix feather with dragon heartstring, seven and a half inches good and flexible" Sakura felt a slight warmth and out of the end of the wand came a sudden burst of silver ribbons. Mr Ollivander smiled "ahh lovely, just as I said the wand chooses its owner. Now you Mr Li, over here." Sakura moved away and fingered the star key that was around her neck. `Can I still use my key? Of course I can, it's the only way to summon the cards.' Smiling she held the boxed wand and waited for Syaoran. It took a very long time until the right one was found, ebony, eleven inches, dragon heartstring and centaur hair, quite whippy. After paying for their wands they left the shop with smiles.

"I think we should go and look at the brooms," Harry suggested. "Don't want to be going off to Hogwarts without brooms." And with that the trio headed off to get brooms.

Now laden heavy with bags of things for school all of them waited in the alley where Mr Dursley had dropped them off. Sighing they sat down on the side of the road.

"He hasn't forgotten us has he?" Sakura asked running a hand over the case of her dark storm broom. Her and Syaoran had gotten the latest model and both had them painted black, Syaoran had gotten green fire painted on it while Sakura had asked for silver speckles to look like stars. Happy with the day they al just wanted to go home and sleep, all excited for the 1 September where they all would be headed on the train to Hogwarts.

Vernon pulled up onto the side of the road and opened to boot for the kids to put their shopping in, once that was done they got into the car and were headed back when Sakura sat up straight.

"Oh no, we forgot to get owls" she stated groaning, Syaoran placed a hand to his head.

"How could we have forgotten?" he asked no one in particular. Harry just sighed. Ill send Hedwig once she gets back to Diagon Alley to get you both an owl, you wont mind what she picks do you?" he asked both Sakura and Syaoran shook their heads and sunk back into their seats exhausted. Harry smiled and closed his eyes, `I had fun today.'

Once back inside Harry found Hedwig sitting on her cage with a letter tied to her leg, Harry grinned `a letter from Sirius so quickly? Excellent' after untying Hedwig Harry fed her some meat he'd stole from the kitchen and sat down to read it. Sakura also took out her letter that she had forgotten about over the day while Syaoran just flopped onto the bed and closed h is eyes.

Harry opened his letter and read.

Dear Harry,

Its great to hear from you, I wouldn't worry too much about the dream though, if it didn't hurt you in any way then it mustn't be too bad, if it happens again go and talk to Dumbledore about it, he might know. Everything is going all right where I am, I am a little busy at the moment so when I have to time ill write more.

Snuffles

Harry sighed, he had been hoping for a longer letter then that but he was a little happy with what he got. Lying down on his beg he closed his eyes. `I should probably send Hedwig to get owls for Sakura and Syaoran.' Getting up he went to his desk to write a letter.

Sakura on the other hand was sitting with wide eyes.

Sakura,

I actually saw that you would be going to Hogwarts and I am very proud that you have come this far, that means that you have captured all the Clow Cards and turned them into Sakura Cards. I hope that you enjoy your stay at Hogwarts and learn as much as you can. Also be careful and don't get into too much trouble, I left that money in the Vault for you so that you could have a little spending money and inside here is a little token from me.

Love you my daughter

Clow Reed

Sakura looked inside the envelope and pulled out a small locket, opening it she gasped, inside was a picture of her mother, Kero, Yue and Clow Reed and well as a small inscription on the side. `We will be watching over you' smiling she fastened the locket around her neck and sighed closing her eyes.

"Err, Sakura, do you have to money for your owl?" Harry whispered. Sakura sat up quickly and bumped heads with Harry, "owe," she stated grabbing her head. Harry nodded his head in agreement. Sakura got up and went over to her bag of gold and placed fifteen gold galleons in Harry's head then pulled off her shoes and socks before crawling under her covers and fell instantly asleep not bothering to change out of her clothes. Harry sighed, and went over to where Hedwig was waiting for him. Syaoran had given him fifteen Galleons as well `I think I like having richer friends, that way I don't feel so bad that I have so much money' placing the galleons into the envelope Harry tied it to Hedwigs head and patted her on the head lovingly she spread her wings wide and with a squawk flew out into the darkening sky. Harry then turned to his own bed and following Sakura and Syaoran's lead didn't bother to change and fell asleep instantly.

KangaKilla: so did you like? That took me ages wow, I think Ive made a new record, and I will actually finish this one I promise as well as The Red Dragon and SAKURA- cherry blossom. Ok thanks fore reading. Oh yes and I want to point out an error in the fourth book of the Harry Potter series. (spoiler so don't read if you haven't read the fourth book). When the people are being regurgitated out of the wands Harry's dad comes out first when he died before Lilly, so therefore Lily should have come out before James since he wasn't as recent a kill as lily if you get what I mean, also there are other mistakes but that was the only one that was large enough that I thought I might point out to others.
