"Syaoran, remember, bring honor to the Li Clan. You are destined to be the savior of our people. Also, bring the Li Clan sword with you to protect you from all dangers." Said one of the Elders. "I will obey your orders great one." Syaoran said emotionlessly. (Silly, why would they give me this sword. It belonged to my great ancestor Li Shulin.) (A/N: I borrowed this name from Wish-chan. So NO FLAMES!!!) "Bye Syaoran! Be safe! Find a girlfriend there! Yeah, make sure she is NOT snobby! Don't forget to change your underwear everyday!" shouted from his four annoying sisters. "Whatever." Mumbled Syaoran. "Stay safe my little wolf and come back once your done." Demanded Yelan. "Yes mother."

"I have some business to discuss with you Eriol. And please, I do not want such formalities. We are friends are we not?" asked Sakura. "Of course, my dear daughter. Now what brings you out here to visit your half-father?" said Eriol. "It is about the trespassers. I would like you to help me predict the future of what would happen, if I build a shield to the kingdom. I would have done it myself, but I'm too worn out these days." Sakura said with a sigh. "As you please, daughter." Said a very pensive magician. With a flick of his hand, a crystal bowl came out full of mist. "Key of the darkness, I, Eriol under the sun and moon's contract. Release!" Holding his staff before him, he chanted a spell and the mist swirled into a mirror.

On the Airplane

"Syaoran-sama, we have arrived to the Ice Land. Ruled by people of magic as well." Said his butler. Syaoran grouchily got up from his seat and went out into the blank tundra. "Wei, tell mother that I would be fine and expect me to be back in 2 years." He said solemnly. "As you wish, Syaoran-sama."

The butler went back into the aircraft and then there was complete silence. (I wonder which way should I go? Hmm…Of course!) Taking out his Lasin board, he chanted "Source of light, with an ancient spin. Send forth the magic power within! Oracles of Gold, Wood, Water, Fire, Earth, Clouds, Wind, Rain, and Electricity! Force known my plight! Release the light!" The board spins and sends out a blue light pointing towards the Ice Kingdom.

After almost 2 hours of walking, he halted. A raging snowstorm stopped him and he was being thrown around the cyclone. Drawing out the sword from its sheath, he shouted "Fuu Ka Shou Rai!" Pouring his entire chi into the wind blew the snowstorm away. Panting heavily, he went forward.

At Eriol's house

"So, what do you see Eriol-kun? Is it dangerous? Can it…" Sakura paused and sent out her aura to the tips of the kingdom. Slitting her eyes, she felt a steady yet worn out aura of another from the outside. "Do you feel it?" she asked sharply. Eriol nodded as a response. (Is it who I think it is? No it can't be. They couldn't have come here to find me, unless...) "Come on, Eriol-kun. We can finish this later." Sakura stated firmly. (A/N: Who can it be?)

Running outside, Sakura climb onto her unicorn and Eriol climbed onto his ebony elk. "All citizens, please head into your respective dwellings at once! This is no drill! Hurry! A trespasser has entered the outskirts of our town!" Sakura shouted. Everyone went to get their children and ran inside their houses.

"Lets go. I can feel him draw deeper into our city." Eriol said with concern. They urged their stallions to the gates of the storms.

Back to Syaoran

"Ugh… what a horrible way to travel. Especially in this deep and thick snow." He stated. Drenched in slush and a thick blanket of snow, he trudged on. Looking up from the snow and into the dull sky he saw two strange creatures. (What the **ll? I must be losing it. Horses don't fly, unless they are unicorns. Which only exist in fairytales. Don't they?) As the animals circled lower and lower to the ground, two magicians jumped off their unicorns. "Who are you and what do you want, trespasser?! This is my sacred kingdom and you are not permitted to entered until you state your business," Said a female dressed in a white cloak and a feathered winged mask. Syaoran looked to the right of the girl and towards the male. Dressed in completed navy blue cloak and a blue phantom mask across his face. (A/N: Made by Tomoyo of course…don't ask me how they changed) "Answer me! Or you shall die this instant!" Sakura ordered. "I have come to find the murderers who have killed my people that had came to scout the hidden jewel of Nadeshiko Amamiya. If you do know where it is and who killed them, then please tell me." Syaoran answers. (She's so beautiful. With or without the mask. That must be her servant or worse…) Sakura's eyes soften at the name of her deceased mother, then harden as he mentioned of the other people who had dare to enter her kingdom. "I will not tell you what I know of the murders. But since you came to look for the hidden jewel, then you shall die!" As she was about to release her staff, the male gripped her hand and shook his head. And whispered, "Don't release it. I know a way that would be easier. If it fails, do as you please." She only nodded, puzzled.

"Tell me, what is your name and what is your reason for the sacred jewel of Nadeshiko Amamiya." The male said mysteriously. "My name is Li Syaoran. Descendent of Clow Reed and Li Shulin of the Li Clan. I am also the king of the Li Clan. My business with the jewel has ties with my family." Syaoran shouted boldly. The masked duo sweat-dropped (talk about being a bit too formal) they both thought similarly.

"I have told you my identity, and it is time to reveal yours." He said calmly. "As you wish," said the male "My name is Eriol Hiiragizawa. I am one of the magician in the kingdom." Eriol removed his mask. Revealing to Syaoran his pensive and solemn face. "I will not reveal all of my identity, but some. I am the present ruler of the Ice Kingdom, which is standing behind me. But you shall not enter for three reasons. One is that you are a trespasser from the outside. Two is that your people have been taking my people's supplies. And three is that you have to pay a price to enter with my escort, Eriol." Sakura said in a deadly tone. "What is the price? A life? A treasure?" Syaoran asked flatly. "It is to either accept my challenge of a duel with magic. Or to lose all your magic." Sakura said.

Oh well… a cliffhanger. I give you some info on the "hidden jewel of Nadeshiko Amamiya" later on the story. About Sakura being the present ruler is this. The only sex to be ruling the Ice Kingdom are females. I know that I wrote "king Fujitaka" in the previous chapter. It's because he can take over while Sakura is out "killing" the trespasser. Like Syao-chan's mom, Yelan. She is the queen before Syaoran. AND PLEASE REVIEW!!!!
