Sakura blinked as the sun shone through her window. Turning in her bed she looked at the time and her eyes widened, “Oh no! I'm going to be late!” she cried as she flung her comforter aside and jumped out of bed. Grabbing her uniform she rushed to the bathroom, changing quickly, brushing her hair and teeth and washing her face she rushed back into her room dumping her night wear on her bed. Taking her backpack she slung it over her shoulder and ran down into the kitchen and looked at the board by the phone.

I left early honey, and I'll probably be home late.
Take care.

Otou-san.

Smiling a bit she grabbed an apple and rushed to the front door slipping on her shoes. Taking her keys she opened the door and locked it behind her. Then quickly, she sprinted to the bus stop only to see it zoom passed her.

“No!! Wait!” she called but it just passed her and she sighed, Great… now I'm going to be late. She thought to herself.

Walking quickly, she finished her apple and shot out the core at a near by garbage, I can't afford to be late on my second day! Otou-san is going to be so disappointed if he hears about this.

A loud honking suddenly caught her attention when it cut through her train of thought. Looking to her left she saw Eriol in a sleek black convertible. She shot him a curious look when he wave at her.

“Ohayo Gozaimasu Kinomoto-san, need a ride? You're going to be late at that pace.” He told her as he opened the passenger side door.

“H-hai, Thank you so much.” She said as she hesitantly got into his car and they zoomed towards school.

He gave her a grin, “I'm Hiiragizawa Eriol, I must apologize about yesterday, I was in a bad mood.” He told her.

“It's alright.” She gave him a weak smile but confusion filled her eyes when she noticed his hands tightly clenched the steering wheel. They managed to arrive at school with minutes to spare and Eriol quickly got out of the car and went to Sakura side helping her out. Taking her bag from her he carried it.

Students who were outside watched with curious eyes, and whispers erupted causing Sakura to blush slightly.

“Y-You don't have to carry my bag.” She said as she tried to get it back from him. Eriol just gave her a smile, “Nonsense, this is a way to apologize for yesterday.” He told her.

Sakura shook her head, “You didn't do anything wrong.” She said sincerely, You just acted kind of weird… she thought to herself.

Eriol chuckled, “Thank you for being nice, but I was rude yesterday, no need in denying it.”

Sakura just gave him a smile unsure of what to say and she caught sight of Tomoyo who gave her a strange look. She gave a slight shrug hoping she would notice and Tomoyo giggled signaling she did. “Good morning Sakura-chan.” Tomoyo greeted as she walked to them, “Hiiragizawa-san.”

“Morning Tomoyo-chan.” Sakura gave a smile.

Eriol grinned, “Daidouji-san…” he looked down at Sakura, “You've made a wonderful choice in friends Sakura-san… Is it alright if I call you Sakura?” he asked.

Sakura glanced quickly at Tomoyo who gave a quick nod of enthusiasm, “H-hai!” she replied happily, “Only if I can call you Eriol-san.”

Eriol gave her another smile, “Of course.” He looked at his watch, “Class is about to begin, shall we go?” he asked.

Sakura nodded before turning to Tomoyo giving her a look -We'll talk in Language Class-, “See you later Tomoyo-chan.”

Tomoyo grinned, “See you.” She said as she watched them head to class.

Eriol being taller than Sakura looked down at her, “How do you like it here so far?” he asked as they walked into class, he met with Syaoran's gaze and smirked spitefully. Syaoran narrowed his eyes and a growl nearly erupted from his throat.

“Oh, it's nice really.” Sakura replied as she took her seat, she looked up at him and noticed he was clenching his hand again. He's so tense… “I made a few friends and found my way around everywhere pretty well thanks to help.”

Eriol gave her another smile, “That's good to hear. I was wond-” He was cut off in mid-sentence when their home room teacher came in. “Later.” He whispered as he went to his seat.

Sakura gave him a smile before taking out her books and class began. That was so strange… and here I thought he hated me for absolutely no reason… she frowned for a moment. It's probably nothing…

Taking down her notes for the day the bell rang startling her and she knocked one of her books down. Time had flown by so quickly she hadn't even realized it. Bending over to pick up her book, she saw that it was levitating in front of her. No wait… she saw a hand holding it and she looked up to meet Syaoran's gaze.

Realizing that she was staring a light blush spread across her cheeks, taking her book back she gave a smile, “Thank you.”

Syaoran gave her a small crooked grin but as she stood she noticed he suddenly clenched his jaw tightly for a moment before speaking, “I'm Li Syaoran.” He introduced, “I didn't introduce myself yesterday so I might as well do it now or else it'd be never.” He chuckled.

Sakura gave a small laugh and tried not to make it show how nervous she was, his eyes, like Eriol she noticed, intimidated her. “Kinomoto Sakura.” She supplied, “But I'm sure you know that already.”

Syaoran nodded and helped her pack her bag, he looked up and met Eriol's dangerous look and he smirked, Payback's a bitch. He thought to himself as he picked up Sakura's bag. “Oh!” her gasp cut through his thoughts, “You don't have too, I'm very capable in carrying my bag.” She told him.

Syaoran clenched his jaw tightly again for a minute and it didn't go unnoticed to Sakura either, “It's alright, I want to carry your bag.”

Sakura sighed, “If you insist…” she eyed him carefully and saw Eriol with his friends whispering, This morning is just too strange… maybe this is all a dream? She asked herself before she heard Syaoran was talking to her.

“-Is that alright?” he asked.

“Uhm? Ano… I'm sorry, can you repeat that?” she asked embarrassed.

Syaoran chuckled, “I asked if I could call you Sakura.” He repeated, Sakura looked up at him her blush seemed to deepen, Where's Tomoyo-chan when you need her? She wondered, “Sure, Does that mean I can call you Syaoran?”

Syaoran gave her another grin, “Of course.” They walked into class and Tomoyo's eyes widened seeing her friend with Syaoran, she almost couldn't contain her giggle at the blushing Sakura.

Syaoran passed Sakura bag back to her, “Thank you.” She said with a smile.

“No Problem.” Came his reply before he made his way into his own seat. Tomoyo turned to face Sakura with shocked eyes, “What was that about?” she asked in a whisper.

Sakura shrugged, “I don't know. He just started talking to me at the end of class.” She replied, “I don't like this… it's making people talk, I don't like people talking about me Tomoyo-chan…” Her blush seemed to deepen with embarrassment.

Tomoyo giggled, “Sakura-chan, You're having the two most wanted seniors talking to you and you don't like it? There are plenty of girls who've waited for that chance for years.” She said, “How did you end up with Eriol? I heard you were even in his car… Were you?”

Sakura nodded, “I missed the bus and suddenly poof! He was there and offering a lift.” Her blush didn't seem to let up and she sighed.

Tomoyo gave her a smile, “You really don't like attention do you?” she asked.

Sakura shook her head, “Not really… it's embarrassing.” She saw a glint in Tomoyo's eyes, “What?”

Tomoyo shook her head, “Nothing, I can tell it's an uncomfortable subject to talk about.” She said. Sakura eyed her and sighed, “Alright, ask your questions…”

Tomoyo gave a small squeal, “What do you think about them?” she asked, “What did they do? What did they say?”

Sakura couldn't help but giggled and she gave Tomoyo a smile, “I find they're strange… They didn't do much, but they were… tense. Like something was bugging them and they tried to control it…”

More whispers were exchanged between the two girls all throughout class that it had gone by like a breeze. Morning passed with no more visits from Eriol or Syaoran for Sakura but she was pleased with that, at least no one was going to be reminded about it to start whispering. She thought to herself as she followed along side Tomoyo to their lunch table with their other friends Chiharu, Rika and Naoko.

The three other friends had their share of interrogating Sakura about the two male teens that she seems to have the attention of, and decided that lunch was going to be Syaoran and Eriol free.

“Ne, Sakura-chan,” Began Chiharu, “I was curious… What was it like in your old school?” she asked before popping one of her homemade sushi in her mouth.

Sakura finished chewing her lunch, “Which old school do you want to know about?” she asked.

“Eh?” came Naoko's confused expression, “How many schools did you go to?”

Sakura paused for a second to think, “About fifteen.” Came her reply.

“What!” came a chorus of the girls.

“Why did you go to so many?” Asked Rika.

Sakura looked at her friends watching their interested expressions, “Well, because of my dad's job, we move a lot, so we've never really stayed in a place for long.” She replied, “I didn't go to school last year since we moved around in Europe most of the time, so I had a personal tutor.”

Tomoyo frowned, “What did you do about friends? Wasn't it hard?”

Sakura shrugged, “I guess… But I didn't have that many, none of them really close so even though it was hard, it wasn't a great impact.” Sakura explained, “I learnt quick to not make that many friends.”

“So you've never had a boyfriend?” Rika asked.

Sakura thought for a bit, “No… I've had crushes though.” She shrugged, “It's okay though… I don't think I'd have the time for a relationship anyways.”

They soon finished eating lunch and they just sat around laughing and joking when Sakura noticed that her friends sitting in front of her suddenly zoned off.

“What are you guys looking at?” she asked as she turned around to see Syaoran and Eriol arguing. She gasped as she saw Syaoran about to punch Eriol if it weren't for one of his friends holding him back. “What's happening over there?”

“I forgot…” Tomoyo said, “You're not used to that, well remember I said that they're major enemies, I meant it. They always get into arguments and it usually ends up in bloody fights.”

Sakura frowned, “What do they argue about?” she asked.

Everyone at the table shrugged, “Nobody really knows. Everything is normally just a rumor.” Rika supplied an answer.

Sakura's eyes suddenly widened as she felt a spike in an aura, her eyes darted back to Eriol and Syaoran, Do they have magic? She wondered.

“Is something wrong Sakura-chan?” Tomoyo asked concerned for her new friend. Sakura looked at her, “O-oh, no, I'm fine.”

Sakura glanced back at the two arguing teens behind her, That was strange. Seeing the concerned look on her friends she gave them a smile, “Come on we have gym next and I don't want to be late.”

Gathering their things they walked towards their locker and grabbed their stuff and headed to the gyms just as the bell rang. Changing they walked back into the gym and waited as for all the other girls to come back. It turned out that they'd be having their first gym class outside today and it was an obstacle course.

Tomoyo sighed, “I hate obstacle courses…” she complained with Rika.

Chiharu laughed, “You're just not athletic.” She retorted. Sakura giggled, “You can't be serious? I love gym! I'm kind of rusty though since I didn't exactly have gym courses last year.”

Naoko frowned, “Don't look now guys but Li-san is coming our way.” Sakura rose a brow but didn't see Syaoran anywhere, “Who?” she asked.

Tomoyo motioned to the raven haired girl walking their way, “That's Li Meiling, she's related to Syaoran, but I heard she has a thing for him.”

Sakura nodded in understanding and she looked up to meet angry ruby eyes. Meiling's eyes looked her up and down scrutinizing her, “Kinomoto-san, I'll be looking forward to beating you on the court.” She told her coldly.

Sakura's eyes widened, “B-but…” She couldn't say anymore as Meiling flipped her hair over her shoulder and turned sharply on her heel and walked back to her friends, “What was that about?” Sakura asked with a deep frown, “I didn't do anything to her.”

Tomoyo rolled her eyes, “Typical Li-san… She's very competitive, and the fact that Li Syaoran seems to be interested with you just spiked up her anger.” She gave Sakura a reassuring look, “Don't worry, I'm sure you'll do fine just ignore her.”

Chiharu, Rika and Naoko nodded, “And if she does anything wrong to you, we'll have your back, don't worry.” Rika said with a grin.

Sakura smiled gratefully before she saw her friends sigh dreamily, “Now that's why I like gym.” Tomoyo and Rika said in unison. Sakura followed their gazes at the senior boys coming out for gym.

“Oh boy,” Chiharu whistled, “I see they're playing soccer, you think they're playing shirts and skin?”

Naoko laughed at Sakura's confused expression, “Don't mind them, you'll understand in a bit.”

Before anything more was said, their gym teacher blew the whistle calling them in, “Everyone, I want you to chose a partner for this, but remember, the person you choose is not your teammate but your opponent. This is a race, and the first one to the end wins.”

“Kinomoto is mine.” Meiling called darkly from the back of the group causing all the girls to looked at Sakura sadly, Sakura caught some whispers `Poor girl, she doesn't stand a chance against her…' Sakura looked back at Meiling, She can't be that bad… I've faced deranged magic users in my childhood. I can handle this.

She looked at her friends who gave her another reassuring smile and she smiled back. They waited and others chose their partners. Sakura listen to the teacher's instructions and found that she was the last one with Meiling to do the course. She frowned, great that means more watchers… she thought.

Pair by pair they began class with a whistle.

“Alright class,” Came the senior boys' gym teachers, “we'll be playing soccer today as you can see, so break up into two teams and decided amongst yourselves on how you decipher your teams.”

Two teams had easily been made, it seemed that it had been divided equally amongst Werewolves and Vampires with a few human males one each team. “We're getting skin.” Syaoran declared as he and his team pulled off their school gym shirts.

Eriol shrugged before a grin spread across his features as he walked up and whispered to Syaoran, “A test of who's better?” he asked.

Syaoran scowled, “The prize?” he asked ready to beat him no matter what.

Eriol's grin widened, “A day with Sakura alone, no interruptions from the other, without being followed or watched.”

“You're on.” Syaoran growled as they set up their ground, “I won't loose to you.” Syaoran narrowed his eyes and the match began.

Syaoran kicked the ball towards Ryu and with almost blinding speed sprinted towards the net, Ryu had passed the ball to another teammate only to have Eriol steal it. Syaoran glared and quickly ran towards him taking the ball back and with a powerful kick scored a goal.

Eriol's smirk didn't waver as he took charge of the ball passing it to one of his friends, with Syaoran hot on his trail he carefully got the ball back into his possession and made sure it stayed away from Syaoran before scoring a goal.

The ball seemed to go back and forth on the field, goals scored here and scored there, by the end of class, Syaoran and Eriol seemed to be the only ones who could still play, energy pumping through them as they sought out to win.

Their teacher suddenly blew the whistle and Syaoran misaimed his winning goal. A Draw… he thought bitterly, “Class, Good match! I want you all to get cleaned up.” He clapped his hands, and everyone gathered their things.

“Next time Wolf.” Eriol said as he walked passed Syaoran who growled. “Hey check it out Syaoran, Meiling is going against the new girl.” Ryu said as he saw Sakura and Meiling get ready at the starting line.

Soon, most of the boys' gym class hung around to watch as the girls' go at it. Their teacher blew the whistle, Sakura and Meiling both suddenly sprinted off with speed neither of their other classmates knew they had.

“Go Sakura!” Tomoyo, Chiharu, Naoko and Rika called cheering their friend on. Sakura crawled under the net carefully not to get tangled within it before getting back up and jumped to climb the wall, noticing she was still at the same pace as Meiling she didn't worry as she got to the top of the wall and jumped down landing gracefully like a cat surprising her friends.

Without a second lost Sakura sprinted jumping over the hurtles, “Too slow.” She heard Meiling say before she sprinted ahead of her. Sakura could only hide a smirk and with the last of her energy she pushed it to her limit.

Passing Meiling she whispered back, “Don't underestimate me.” With that she was gone crossing the finish line before Meiling could even process what happened.

Sakura's friends ran towards her hugging her, “That was great!” Sakura turned to meet Meiling's gaze, “Good match Li-san.” Sakura said as she held her hand out to shake but Meiling just glared and pushed her aside.

Sakura frowned and sighed, “Don't mind her Sakura-chan, she's like that.” Chiharu said as they went to go clean off before going to their next class.

“Kinomoto-san!” called their teacher causing Sakura to turn around, “Yes sensei?”

The teacher smiled, “That was brilliant Kinomoto-san, you see, we need new girls for the track team, maybe you should try out.”

Sakura smiled, “I'll think about it.” She told her honestly and the teacher nodded dismissing her and Sakura caught up with her friends.

School soon ended for the day and Sakura sighed happily as she walked outside for fresh air, seeing Meiling walk out with her friends she couldn't help but frown, What did I do to her to make her hate me so much? She asked herself as she saw Meiling shoot a cold glare her way.

Ignoring Meiling she waved goodbye to her friends as they went their own way. Heading towards her bus stop she saw Eriol wave at her so she waved back he drove by her in his car, “Do you need a lift Sakura-san?” he asked but Sakura shook her head, “No, I'm fine thanks.”

Eriol just smiled, “Alright, I'll see you at tomorrow then.” And seemingly out of nowhere he pulled out a rose and handed it to her causing her to blush, she thanks him before he zoomed away.

Taking a seat at the bench Sakura caught her breath as she looked down at the beautiful blood red rose in her hand, her blush deepened and she looked up to catch Syaoran walking to her, “Sakura-san.” He acknowledged with a smile, “Syaoran-san.” She smiled back.

She noticed him glaring at the rose before turning his attention back to her, “Do you need a lift? I could drive you home if you like.” Sakura shook her head, “I'm fine. Thank you for the offer.” She said though curiosity surged through her, why are Syaoran and Eriol giving her so much attention? There has to be more to it… maybe it's like one of those movies where I'm just a bet… she thought before turning back to Syaoran who smiled sincerely at her.

“I suppose I can get a rain check to drive you home another time then?” he asked. Sakura nodded, “Sure.” She replied as she watched Syaoran walk back to his car give her a wave and drive off. Sakura sighed and looked down at her lap to find two cherry blossoms, her eyes widened and she looked back to see if Syaoran was still there but he wasn't.

Looking back at the cherry blossoms she smiled and another blush spread across her cheeks, They aren't even in bloom yet. I wonder how her got them. She wondered forgetting the curiosity she had just a few moments ago. Taking them in her hand gently with the rose she noticed the bus coming just around the corner.

Arriving home a few minutes after, Sakura closed the door behind her before taking off her shoes and walking to the kitchen and pulling out a small vase she put the rose and one of her cherry blossoms in it filling it with water. Walking up to her room she set the vase on her desk and took out a large thick book and opened it revealing a few preserved flowers.

“Where did you get those?” came a voice behind her startling her, she turned around sharply only to see Yue.

“You scared me Yue-san.” She said with a sigh of relief before a smile and blush adorned her features, “Two friends from school gave them to me… as weird as it is…” She walked over to her bed sitting on it.

Yue nodded as he leaned against the wall, “But why is it strange Sakura-san?” Sakura closed her book before looking up at him.

She thought for a moment, “Well, when I met them yesterday, they didn't seem to even acknowledge me, and when they did it was, unnerving since they seemed bothered with me being there.” She explained, “But today, they seem to be giving me their undivided attention… no matter how tense they were.” She muttered the last part.

“Is there a problem with that?” asked Yue.

Sakura frowned, “Well, in my time Yue-san, when two males, rivals no less, seek out your attention like they depend on it, it's strange. It could either mean that this is all a bet with me being the new girl… or they really truly feel the need to apologize for acting strange yesterday.”

Yue nodded, “As long as you don't get hurt Sakura-san, you need to find happiness even if it's enjoying the attention these two males are giving you.”

Sakura gave him a smile but before she could say anything Cerberus appeared in his small form looking much like a small plush toy, “Good Afternoon Sakura-chan!!” he greeted loudly.

“Good afternoon Kero-chan.” She said with a smile, “How was your day?” she asked looking at him and Yue.

Kero shrugged, “It was boring.” Kero replied, “Do you mind if I borrow your game counsel?” he asked cheekily. Sakura giggled and nodded watching him zoom to her closet where a box sat. She looked at Yue, “And yours?”

Yue grimaced, “Loud.” He replied glaring slightly at Kero, “It's much more peaceful when you're here Sakura-san.” Sakura smiled at him giggling.

“I have no homework tonight so would you like to help me cook?” she asked as she stood from her bed and began to walk downstairs with Yue behind her.

Kero's ears perked up at the word cook, “Ne Sakura-chan, what are you cooking?” he asked as he brought the game counsel with him.

Yue rolled his eyes, “Always thinking with your stomach Cerberus.” Kero glared at him with a pout.

Sakura smiled, “I'm not sure, I think I have fish in the freezer so I'll just cook up something simple. Otou-san will probably home late.” She explained and she walked to the refrigerator.

The three of them continued on with conversations as Sakura cooked and Sakura smiled brightly, her eyes shining.

To Be Continued

A/N: Thank you so much for the wonderful Reviews! They are deeply appreciated! Before I go on and answer questions, I want to say that this chapter, nothing much really happened since Sakura still had to get acquainted with Syaoran and Eriol, as well as becoming (not all too willingly) Rivals with Meiling. Also, the scene at the end is just to show the kind of friendship she has with Yue and Kero. Also, I'm apologizing for the horrible Soccer game. I'm not a sporty girl so I'm not too good at that lol.

About Tomoyo, I'm afraid I'm not going to answer the question “What about Tomoyo?” And no, I'm not answering it because I don't want to spoil anything, I'm not answering because I don't have a definite answer to it yet. Sorry about that, I'm not greatly organized.

About my Updating, I'll try to update at least every week or so, since it's summer maybe twice. But! Don't trust my word, just because its summer doesn't mean I'll vegetate in front of my computer.
