Yue sighed as he leaned against one knee and watched the tall dark headed form toss and turn in the bed. He ignored the couple of leaves that suddenly drifted down pass him as a weight landed in the tree just above him. He knew without looking, that it was Keroberos. The voice that invaded his silent watch, proved him correct. "Mind if I ask why are you out here in the middle of the night staring in his window like a moon-struck calf?" came the question along with a soft yellowish white feather that floated down pass his face, to land beside him on the limb he rested on.

He half considered not answering him, ignoring the question and his presence once again. But he knew should he attempt such a thing, Keroberos would only become more annoying and continue to repeat the question, with possibly more terms tacked onto the end of it. "I'm watching over the Mistress's brother." he replied bluntly.

"Why?" came the next question, followed right after with another. "I hope this isn't because you're feeling guilty.."

Another sigh escaped and Yue finally looked away from the window up towards Keroberos. "I should have been more alert, more careful. If I had protected him more, this wouldn't be."

"I don't believe that, anymore than Sakura or the rest do.. if anyone is going to take the blame it should lay squarely on the shoulders of the one responsible for this tragedy, that Akizuki girl."

Just then the tree shook slightly again causing more leaves to rain down around them, a slightly deep voice responded. "That's what Eriol thinks as well.."

Yue and Keroberos looked up to see the ebony panther slide down one branch and fold its gossamer black and emerald wings against its back. Keroberos gave the panther a slight dirty look before speaking. "And just what are *you* doing here? Aren't you and your master supposed to be in England?" Yue shook his head and shifted his position on the limb he was on so that he could look up at both sun guardians without hurting his neck.

"What made you come out of hiding?" he asked quietly, ignoring Keroberos's look of mute shock.

"You *knew* they were here?!"

Both Yue and Spinel Sun ignored the question. "My master wishes to give you a message." Yue nodded and gestured silently for him to continue, using his other hand to clamp Keroberos's jaws shut so he couldn't interrupt again. Spinel Sun smirked faintly and then continued. "He says you are now allowed to do anything within your power or knowledge to retaliate against Akizuki Nakuru, due to what she caused to happen, such as the death of your other self, Tsukishiro Yukito."

Yue winced faintly at the name, but watched the feline with rapt attention. "What's the catch?" he asked quietly.

Spinel Sun shook his head. "I wasn't finished. Here's the rest.. you are *not* allowed to harm Ruby Moon. If any of your attacks harm Ruby Moon directly, Eriol shall step into this and put an end to it. He said, and I quote: 'Guardians do *not* attack each other.. without just cause and reason. But, the false forms of the Guardians are not actually a *part* of the Guardian it seems..' So you are allowed to go so far as to visit such a judgment as you see fit upon Akizuki Nakuru, including death, if you can find such a way to destroy her without destroying Ruby Moon. That was all of it, except for the fact that this permission only begins at dawn."

Yue released Keroberos and stood up on the limb to be face to face with the other guardian. "Tell him, I thank him for this offer, and I would care to speak with him whenever he has time to do so."

"Wait a minute, Yue. I don't like this one bit.. I mean what if this *weird* guy is laying a trap and you're walking willing right into the middle of it."

Yue sighed and shook his head silently as he moved to sit back down and looked into the window. "I doubt it's a trap, but I owe it to Touya-san to avenge what happened to him and the Snow bunny.. you don't know what it felt like when I unmade him.." His voice trailed off for a moment as he closed his eyes and shuddered slightly. It still hurt, when he thought about it, the pain from the Snow bunny's absence was like a wound he couldn't heal. He continued softly, his voice low and quiet. "It felt like I was tearing myself apart.. It wasn't meant to happen, Clow-sama created him for me.. and now he's gone. They're both gone."

Silence descended over them and finally he felt the tree shake slightly as Spinel Sun jumped out of it and flew away, most likely back to his master's side. He felt Keroberos move down until he was beside him, and then the warm weight of his head laying in his lap. Yue lifted one of his hands, running it around the helmet and down his jaw, through the golden fur. "I'm sorry.. if you feel uncomfortable about this deal, but I can't let her get away with this.. not if I have the chance of making amends and setting things right."

"I know, Yue. I'm sorry that I jumped on your case. Its just that that Suppi, Spinel whatever rubs me the wrong way."
