Touya opened the window to his bedroom and sighed as a breeze entered, causing the curtains to flutter a little in the wind. He stood there for a moment watching the sunlight filter through the branches of the tree beside his window and then noticed something white on the sill that was slowly spinning closer towards the edge and about to drift off into the breeze.

Reaching forwards, he picked it up and looked at it silently. It was a snowy white feather. For a moment, pain surged through him and his fingers closed over the feather. He had no real proof it belonged to the angel, but he had a hunch that it did. He turned away from the window, leaving it open and reached for his blue blazer. It was time to at least try to return to the normalcy of school. But heaven help him if that *damned* girl even showed her face near him. His hand tightened around the feather in his hand as grief turned to fury and faded away slowly as he left his room, dropping the feather when he opened the front door to the house. The feather was caught by the wind and drifted away.

Yue watched the figure leave the house silently from his mistress's window. He had come in with the dawn and had been thinking of how to best use the information Spinel Sun had given him, and more importantly how to succeed in doing the same to Akizuki Nakuru as she had done to the Snow Bunny. After Touya was gone from sight, Yue turned away from the window and closed his eyes to think it out.

Lunch Hour.. Touya sighed as he walked from the campus grounds towards the park silently. It wasn't the same without.. He shook his head, shoving his hands into the pockets of his blazer as he walked along the sakura trees that lined the main pathway through the park. He looked up sharply as he heard his name called and frowned slightly as he scanned the trees and path. He then saw Sakura and that other boy, the brat who seemed here lately to *always* be around whenever he looked up. He turned towards them and raised an eyebrow slightly. "Kaijuu, what are you doing here?" he asked coming to stand in front of them.

"I am not a monster!" came the predictable reply from Sakura and she gave him a glare before she answered his question. "We got out early today, so I thought I come and ask if you wanted to have lunch with us."

"I assume if I accept, the gaki is coming with us." he said, and the brat's glare lifted his spirits a little, of course it seemed his sister was completely oblivious to the dagger-sharp look the Chinese boy was giving him. He smirked faintly and shook his head. "Alright. Where?"

"Just down the path there's a table and a couple benches. We can eat there." she said and then turned to go down the path, one hand snaking out as she turned to grab Li Syaoran's wrist and drag him along behind her. He followed them, smiling slightly at the boy's attempts to keep up with her and free his wrist at the same time. They sat down and after a couple moments, Sakura began telling him what they had done in school today. He listened as he ate, watching both of them quietly.

Eriol stood outside on the balcony of his home and glanced up as something small and white fluttered into his line of sight. He smiled softly and held out his hand as it slowly spiraled downward towards him. It landed lightly in his palm and he lightly ran a finger along it. Now was the time to come out of his hiding, he would need to watch over the guardians and the others involved with them.

Looking up from the feather in his hand, he stared out over his grounds and sighed softly. He closed his fingers over the feather and lifted the hand up over his mouth to lightly blow into it before releasing the feather once more to the wind. It spiraled upwards for a moment, caught by the wind and then a small golden glow around it came to life and it fluttered away back the way it came. Eriol turned away and walked back inside, smiling faintly. Things ought to get very interesting now.

Touya glanced at his watch and then stood up, thanking Sakura for thinking of him when he saw the Li boy stiffen and glare murderously at something behind him. He blinked when his sister's smile seemed to falter and her eyes become filled with both anger and sadness. Something was definitely wrong, turning he saw what had caused the change in attitude and felt his own chest tighten with an intense fury.

Akizuki Nakuru was walking up towards them like nothing was wrong. His fists clenched at his sides and it was only by sheer willpower he resisted hitting her. Instead he ignored her overly cheerful greeting and stormed past her back down the path and once more towards the campus. Several feet away, the fury turned into grief and he turned to walk under the trees and sit down under them, striking the ground several times with his fists. It was unfair, entirely unfair of fate to do this to him. He leaned back against the tree and sighed softly as he closed his eyes.

Kero-chan fluttered in front of Li and Sakura as they walked towards home silently. After Touya had left, Li and Sakura had gotten up as well and left the auburn haired woman standing by the table alone. He had felt like coming out and giving her a piece or two of his mind, but knew it he couldn't without being seen and besides, if what that Suppi guy said wasn't a trap and Yue actually did follow through with it.. he had a feeling the girl would get what was coming to her. He smirked faintly at the thought of it and found himself jerked downwards by his tail to face a rather irate Li. "Now WHY did you do THAT for, brat?!" he cried as he pulled his tail out of the offending hand and glared at the Chinese boy.

"I want to know what you were smirking about.. you know something we don't?" Li asked him, glaring back at him. Sakura glanced at both of them and blinked in confusion.

"What do you mean Li-kun?"

Syaoran glanced over at Sakura once before returning his attention to Kero. "The stuffed animal is hiding something from us."

Kero crossed his arms over his chest and continued to glare at the boy. "I am not! This has nothing to do with either of you."

"What doesn't, Kero-chan?" Sakura asked him, looking up at him confused at this sudden turn of events. "Does it have anything to do with Yue-san?"

Kero sighed and shook his head. "Fine." He shot another dirty look at the brat, before continuing. "Last night, while both Yue and me were outside talking, that other sun guardian of Eriol's showed up. Apparently, all three of them are back here and Eriol told him that Yue could, if he wanted to, hurt that Akizuki girl if he wanted too."

Li blinked and then looked down thinking. Sakura's eyes widened slightly as she watched him. "Hoee? But isn't Akizuki-san also Ruby Moon?"

Kero nodded. "Ya, she's the false form Ruby Moon wears.. like.." he trailed off not wanting to say the name and get Sakura depressed again. "Anyway.. Yue can get his own back on her as long as he doesn't directly go after Ruby in her true form."

Li looked up at Kero briefly before looking at Sakura. "I see what he's done I think, but it will be hard for Yue-san to do that. What happens if he does attack her directly?"

Kero sighed and uncrossed his arms. "Eriol will step in and call a halt to the payback. He doesn't want us fighting each other, he says. Or something like that.."

Syaoran nodded in understanding. "I can see his point. Since Sakura is more powerful than Eriol now, you guys are more than likely more powerful than his own guardians now."

Sakura looked slightly troubled. "What would happen if something went wrong and Ruby was hurt bad, or worse, killed?" she asked, her eyes flickering between Li and Kero worriedly.

Kero frowned and was about to answer when Li spoke first. "I think it depends on how much a part of Eriol they were.. if he has them tied closely to himself or his power, killing one of them might hurt him badly or possibly backlash and kill both him and the other guardian. Of course, he might not have them bound that tightly, and it might just be a small loss in power for him or something like that."

Sakura's eyes had widened when he had mentioned the possibly that Eriol could die if things went wrong and she shivered slightly. "What about Yue-san? If something more happens to him?"

Kero sighed and hugged her neck lightly to comfort her. "Don't worry.. nothing is going to happen to Yue. I doubt Eriol would allow it, and besides whether Yue knows it or not, I'll be watching his back from now on anyway."

Sakura smiled then and hugged Kero back, cheerful mood restored somewhat. "Thanks Kero-chan. That does make me feel a lot better."

"No problem. Now how about we go home now and eat? I'm starving!"

Li rolled his eyes and Sakura laughed softly as they began to make their way once again home. "Alright, Kero-chan."

*
Yue opened his eyes as he heard the front door open again and he listened quietly as the Mistress, the Li boy and Kero walked inside and apparently headed for the kitchen if Kero's yelling was any indication. He sighed softly and then glanced at the window silently for a moment. Something familiar was laying just outside of it and he turned walking over to open it up and pick up the small feather laying on the sill.

It was one of his own, he was about to dismiss it when it glowed softly within his palm. A small symbol coming briefly to life around the feather. His lavender eyes narrowed slightly and he closed his hand around the feather, walking away from the window towards the door to the bedroom. Opening the door, he stepped back as Kero flew inside and sat down in front of the video game on the floor. Sakura and Syaoran followed a minute later. He nodded silently at the Li boy and turned his attention towards his mistress. "Mistress," he began.

Sakura looked up at him and smiled. "Why don't you ever call me Sakura?" she asked as she sat down beside Syaoran on the bed.

Yue blinked once at the question and then continued on. "Because you are the Mistress, but what I was about to say is I need to leave for a moment. Will you be alright while I am gone?"

Sakura smiled brightly at him for a moment and then nodded. "Of course, I have Li-kun, and Kero-chan."

Yue nodded, glancing at Kero who choose that moment to cuss out the video game. Raising one white eyebrow at the language he coughed softly. "Indeed. Very well, Mistress. I will try to return before dark." She laughed softly and nodded.

"Alright. Yue-san."

He turned silently, glancing once towards the Li before leaving the room and walking down the stairs. Opening the front door, he stepped out of the house and opened his hand again to look at the feather within it and sighed softly. Walking away from the house, he began the walk towards Eriol's house on the other end of town.
