Card Captor Sakura Fan Fiction ❯ Silver Lining ❯ Chapter 4

[ X - Adult: No readers under 18. Contains Graphic Adult Themes/Extreme violence. ]

I'm a hentai and I know it, so don't say I didn't warn you….
Disclaimer: I don't own CCS. If I did, I'd sue everyone who wrote Tomoyo x Sakura and Meiling x Syaoran, but that's just me…
Notes: AU, fake cards, lemon…
Between the Mirror and Shield cards, Touya's broken leg healed, so I'm assuming 4-6 weeks passed at least… therefore, the next Sakura's card won't show up for probably a few episodes…
Chapter 4

A clock rang out twelve notes in the tower. Yawning, Syaoran looked at his incomplete essay on the benefits of physical education and sighed. He'd never get this finished in time! Well, maybe the stars would have mercy on him… yawning again; he tucked the essay into his backpack, climbed into bed, and was soon dreaming pleasant dreams.
The next morning, he fixed himself cereal and milk, and headed off to school. Entering the classroom, he prepared himself for the inevitable.
However, it didn't come.
“As you all know, class, tomorrow your essays are due. Please work hard on them!”
Syaoran's eyes narrowed… this was…
His suspicions were confirmed the next period when they played soccer. As it had been the day before, a ball came sailing at him and he kicked it out of the way flawlessly into the goal. The girls cheered, but Syaoran smiled.
He had found the culprit.
After school, he found his way to the clock tower and nodded. The aura of a Clow Card was unmistakable. He didn't even need to verify it with his compass. However, there was a problem…
There were workmen all around the clock tower, trying to fix it. Syaoran frowned. How to get them out of the way? He found a convenient place behind a bush, and summoned the Dream card to distract them. Then, he began picking his way up to the tower.
In the tower, an old man waited, a green glowing hourglass in hand.
Syaoran quickly ran up the stairs. Seeing the man, he used Raiden Shourai to zap him with lightning, luckily enough for the Time card to join him.
However, Time was still a day behind… which was lucky, as now he had time to finish his essay!
He wouldn't use it though. Time could be used to stop time, but it took serious amounts of energy. Supposedly you could speed up and slow down time with it too, but that was yet to be verified.
He wasn't going to worry until his magic was slightly higher.

A few days passed peacefully enough, before the presence of another card came to heel, this one more obvious…
Syaoran was walking home when something… rustled in the bushes. Sensing the aura of a Clow Card that had been drawing nearer all day, he pulled out his sword, glad that the sidewalk was empty of other pedestrians.
“Well, come out.”
There was no reply.
Syaoran sighed and kept walking. This provoked a reaction. Spiting and hissing noises came…
Was there?
What was this card?

The answer became clear as a lithe white form sprang out. A fox? A wolf? His first impression was that the thunder card had somehow escaped from Sakura, but a closer look told the true story.
It wasn't Thunder at all!
It was something completely different. Syaoran hesitated. Was it dangerous? Well, he'd have to try…
The fox charged at him and then… turned into a card upon impact.
“The Dash?”
Shrugging, he pocketed it and walked home, completely oblivious to the fact that the Dash was only a cover…

Back in his house, Syaoran found that everything had turned to sugar and candy and pastries and goodness-knows-what-else sweets. The Sweet card cheerfully waved, before turning back. There was another…
Two weak cards today!
Sighing, Syaoran got out his homework and went back to work. He let the warmth ease away his tension and then finished before dinner.
Syaoran got up, walked over to the phone, and dialed the Hoka Hoka bento [1].
“Hello?”
“I'd like to order a Chicken Katsu bento.”
“Yes, your address please? That comes to 500 yen.”
Syaoran gave his address, and then waited for the deliveryman to arrive.

Outside, a Clow Card lurked. Spotting the deliveryman, it smiled eagerly and prepared to attack.
The deliveryman really had no chance as a Card overtook him.

The doorbell rang six minutes later. Syaoran got up, yawned, and then went to open the door. His inattention could be blamed on the fact that since he had already caught two cards in one day, he wasn't expecting more. After all, well, cards usually came singly in long periods of time.
He had barely opened the door when the card attacked.
“EEK! What are you doing?” Syaoran shouted as the man began to grope him. True, it wasn't anything new, but this was a complete stranger!
He punched the man in the face, so he let go… temporarily. He retaliated with a yank. Syaoran eeped as his pants fell.
“Damn, shouldn't have left my guard down.” Syaoran cursed, pulling out his sword. On the other hand, he couldn't hurt this innocent man…
Taking advantage of his hesitation, the card pounced as a blur of energy, sending Syaoran to the floor. The deliveryman's body was left outside.
“L-lust card!” Syaoran gasped out.
The girl smirked. “I'm glad you figured it out. Pity, I wanted to play…” Her form shifted, revealing a girl with long, curly blonde hair, in a fancy black gown embossed with red and white slashes. Then, a card appeared.
Syaoran sighed in relief.

That night, he slept well enough; although the dreams certainly were interesting…Lust and Dream must have been quite bored….
Well, in any case, Syaoran would wait until he faced the Final Judgment and Yue, and hopefully he would pass…
