The Cardcaptors of rock
Chapter 4-I just had a great idea that will save me pt.2
All of the kids in his class were playing excellently at their instruments.
One boy was playing the piano.
Meilin is playing the clarinet.
Kero is playing percussions.
One girl is playing the cello.
Another boy is playing classic guitar.
Yue watched them for a few seconds and this gave him an idea.
He went to his van and opened the back and took out two guitars.
He runs back to the classroom with the guitars.
Next we see him carrying a keyboard.
Later…
The kids enter the classroom.
"Mr. Avalon, what's going on?" Asked one of the boys.
Yue: I saw you in music class. Why didn't anyone tell me? You!
He pointed to the boy who played the guitar.
Yue: could you come up here?
Boy comes up.
Yue: what's your name?
Boy: Li.
Yue: Li, have you ever played electric guitar?
Li: I can't my dad thinks it's a waste of time.
Yue: (with an angry face) a waste of-!
Yue retrieves a guitar and gives it to Li.
Yue: Li can you follow my rhythm?
Li nods.
(YYG: I'm going to skip this part because it's gonna bore you).
Yue: (points to the boy who played the piano) you, piano man could you come up here?
The boy comes up.
Yue: what's your name?
Boy: Yoshi.
Yue: Yoshi? Have you played keyboard? Any techno?
Yoshi: no I only play piano.
Yue: okay fair enough.
Yue then asks him to play a few notes.
(I'm skipping this part to).
Yue: (this time he calls up the girl who played the cello) what's your name?
Girl: Sakura.
Yue: Sakura, what was that thing you were playing? The big thing?
Sakura: cello.
Yue: okay this is a bass guitar, it's like a cello, except instead of playing like this (he imitated the playing of a cello) you tip it on the side and let your fingers do the playing and you have a bass. Okay give me a G note.
She did so.
Yue: okay that's good. Now are there any drummers in the house?
Kero spoke up.
Kero: I play percussions.
"That's cause he couldn't play anything else" mumbles the kid who made the "drunk" comment.
Kero: (whispering) shut up.
Yue: (pointing to Kero) get up here.
Kero gets up.
Yue: play this.
He played a particular pattern.
Kero played the pattern perfectly!
Yue: okay, stay here.
Kero smirks.
To be continued…
I spent about a week on this chapter.
