Prologue

It was dark. Within the absolute darkness a chime rang out, cutting through the stygian gloom relentlessly. There was a strange familiarity to the charged atmosphere that was undeniable. Kinomoto Sakura stepped forward slowly, cautiously, trying to peer into the shadows. The air was warm, uncomfortably so, and she felt a nearly unstoppable urge to strip off the confining restrictions of the clothing she wore. It was becoming increasingly difficult to breathe normally and she soon found herself drawing in rapid breaths to compensate. She felt strange, almost as if her body was no longer familiar to her.

In the darkness a brief light flickered, illuminating her surroundings. She blinked and nearly choked on a gasp. In front of her, mere inches from her flushed face, a book hovered. In many ways it reminded her of the Book of Clow and her own Book of Sakura. Another flash of light, this time longer than the first, lit the darkness and she was able to see that the book was indeed very similar to the other two, yet infinitely different at the same time. The book itself was black with red binding and silver lettering.

Frowning, Sakura inched forward and reached out to take hold of the book floating in front of her. Her fingers brushed against something and she felt a tingling shiver course through her body at the contact. Snatching her hand back quickly as if burned she blinked owlishly in the gloom. "What was that?" She whispered, voice quivering over the syllables. Another flash of light and she could clearly see the writing on the cover of the book. Eyes going round in shock and horrified embarrassment she felt her face heat with a mortified flush. "Eh?! What?!" Brilliant light flared out around her, blinding her, yet the title of the book was forever burned into her memory.

"Eh?! What?!" Sakura sat bolt upright, trembling hands pressed against her flushed cheeks as she stared sightlessly at the far wall.

"Waaaah!" A small teddy bear-like creature with white wings popped up and flew at top speed from the direction of the desk set off to the side, eyes wide and expression a comical mixture of concern, sleepiness and surprise. "Wha's the matter?" It halted its headlong flight in front of the stunned girl still sitting on the bed in a tangle of blankets and sheets. "Eh? Sakura? Why's your face all red?" It scratched its head in puzzlement as she remained silent and continued to stare at the wall in horrified fixation. "Sakura?"

Shaking herself out of her stupor Sakura turned to face the creature. "K-Kero-chan?" She winced when her voice emerged sounding more than a little hoarse and cleared her throat. She blinked and shook her head, willing the flush to leave her cheeks. "A-a dream?" She looked around slowly as if familiarizing herself with her surroundings again. After a moment she heaved a deep sigh of relief. "It was just a dream!" She collapsed backwards onto the bed and stared up at the ceiling. "Thank goodness." She muttered under her breath and closed her eyes.

"What dream?" Kero slowly lowered his small form to rest on the headboard of Sakura's bed, expression revealing his curiosity, eyes narrowing when her face turned red again.

"Um…j-just a dream." She sat up again and looked at her alarm clock before snatching it off the headboard. "Oh…look at the time!" She laughed nervously and bounded out of the bed to hurry around the room gathering clothing. "Gotta hurry…don't want to be late!" She laughed again, the same nervous sound as before.

"What dream, Sakura?" Kero followed her around the room, amazed at how her face turned an even brighter shade of red.

Stopping in the middle of pulling her school uniform's skirt on, she stared at the floor with a scowl. "Kero…is there another book?" She asked softly, voice barely audible.

"Another…book?" The diminutive guardian scratched his head. "I don't know. I was created by Clow Reed as Guardian of the Book of Clow…if there are other books, I wouldn't know about them." He stared at her with careful scrutiny. "Why?"

"I saw another…book." She whispered softly, slowly raising her gaze from the floor to glance at her companion briefly before looking away again with a red face. "In my dream…just now."

"Eh? Another book? In your dream? Hmmm…" Kero folded his arms in front of him and assumed a thoughtful expression. "Well…your magical powers have grown a lot, Sakura…it could be a prophetic dream, y'know."

"What?!" Horrified green eyes stared at the smaller form of Keroberos in shock. "Hoeh!" She sat abruptly on the floor, shaking hands pressed to her flaming cheeks once again.

"Sakura? What's the matter? Did you see the book?" When she only nodded his frown turned to a more perplexed expression. "Well? What's it called?"

"Hoeh…" Hiding her head in her arms as her embarrassment grew the Cardcaptor shook her head emphatically. "I don't wanna do it this time! Someone else has to!" She cried, voice muffled by her arms.

"Eh? C'mon, Sakura…what's it called?" Kero was swiftly losing patience with his Mistress though he would never tell her so…unless pressed, that is. She mumbled something too fast and quietly for him to catch it. "Eh? What was that?" He leaned closer.

"The Hentai." She muttered and fell back on the floor to stare up at the ceiling with a red face as Kero fell over in shock.
