Kay: "Hi everyone I'm Kay. And this is-"

Kero: "CAKE, I smell cake!"

Kay: "No Kero, this isn't cake." *grabs the cake on the table* "This is cake Kero" *Throws cake out of door* "Fetch."

Kero: "CAKE! Must get Cake!"

Kay: *sweat drops* "I was just kidding about the fetch part, but anyhow this is-"

Sakura: "Hi everyone I'm Sakura Avalon, the Cards Mistress, and this is Kay's first CCS fan fic. She will be using the English names. The only Japanese names she will use are Syaoron Li and Nakuru Akizuki."

Kay: "I-I-I wanted to say that!"

Sakura: "Sorry, didn't know."

Kay: "It's okay; I'll just do the disclaimer right now. I don't-"

Kero: "I NEED MORE CAKE!"

Kay: "WAIT WILL YA?"

Madison: "Hi everyone, I'm Madison, and Kay was just about to say she does not own CCS, so don't sue. But she does own the plot."

Kay: "I WANTED TO SAY THAT!" *starts banging head on table* "when will this insanity stop?"

Madison: "Sorry…"

Kay: "It's okay, like she said"

Kay: "Oh yeah…and here is the key that I'm using."

~*~Monday Afternoon~*~

Sakura Avalon walked through the front door of her house, out of the cold weather outside, only to be confronted by a black haired boy that was quite tall, and was in his twenties. "Hey monster, how was your school day?" said Tori, her brother. "I'm not a Monster!" said Sakura as she stomped on his foot as she walked by, and he almost yelled in pain, as she went up the stairs to her room. She was now a little bit older than 16 from the sides.

As she got upstairs and opened her door, a yellow stuffed animal that looked like a really small cat, with white wings flew up to her. "Hi Kero," said Sakura, as she walked over to her computer. "Hi Sakura," replied the stuffed animal. Sakura logged onto her computer and checked her e-mail. She then saw a message from cameragirl@aol.com. She clicked on the message and read:

Hi Sakura,

How ya doin? Has Syaoron contacted u yet?

It was Sakura's Best friend Madison Taylor. She then responded:

No, nothing yet, but he'll contact me sooner or later. But I'm starting to think that he will never contact me again.

Sakura leaned back in her chair, and felt like she was about to cry. When Syaoron left, a few years ago, and she created the hope card, nothing was the same. She loved Syaoron Li, but never told him. Kero saw this and flew over, "Are you crying over that Chinese brat again?" said Kero "No I'm not Kero, leave me alone, something was just in my eye." Sakura protested "Yeah, SURE, you say that," Kero gave up, when he knew he would just get the same answer again. "Alright I'll leave you alone," Kero said as he flew back over to the dresser "But" Sakura turned around to see him, "What is it?" Sakura asked as gently as she could. Kero started to whimper "I-I-I-I-I," "WHAT IS IT?" Sakura yelled, she was losing her patience with him, "BUT I'm HUNGRY!" Kero cried as Sakura fell over amine style. `I should have known he would say that' Sakura thought. "Alright! All get you something later, Madison just e-mailed me."

I know he will Sakura. So have u thought about who you're going to go with to the winter festival? I still don't know who I'm going with yet. But I heard that Eli is coming back for a while, so I was thinking about asking him to go with me.

Sakura thought for a bit, and then heard something grumble. Sakura turned around to see Kero sitting on her desk, looking at her with pleading eyes. "Okay, just a minute" she said before turning back to the computer, and typed.

That's cool. And thanks for the encouragement Madison. You've always been a great friend. But I still don't know who I'm going to go with. If you know anyone that I would enjoy being with that day, tell me. Right now I have to go give Kero something, so I'll be back in a little bit.

"Alright Kero, I'll get you something, but don't beg for anything else!" Kero jumped up in joy but instead of landing on the desk he missed and hit the floor face first. "Ouch" said Kero weakly. "Serves you right, besides I thought you were able to fly," she said before walking down the stairs to the kitchen. Kero yelled after her"That's before I knew I would hit the ground, and get me something SWEET, like pudding."

When Sakura got to the kitchen she opened the fridgerator to see if she could find something. She found leftover cake from the night before. So she grabbed it, and headed for the stairs. When she was half-way up she heard someone.

"Hey what are doing with that piece of cake, monster?" asked Tori.

"First off, I'm NOT A MONSTER. Second, Why are you home so early? Third, don't you have better things to do?" snapped Sakura.

"They let me off work early."

"Oh…"

"And nothing is better than to call you monster, besides, your acting like a monster so I don't see why I can't call you a monster," said a now smiling Tori.

"I'm not a MONSTER, and I'm not acting like one," said Sakura as she ran up the stairs, and Tori turned back to reading the paper on the couch. `I'll never understand him' thought Sakura, while Tori thought `My work is done for now' as he smiled.

When Sakura got upstairs, she handed the cake to Kero. When he was done yelling "Cake…CAKE…my favorite." She saw she had another e-mail from Madison. She clicked on it and read:

Hey Sakura,

Well if I find anyone that you would like, I'll tell you, but I think that will be somewhat impossible, `cause you still love Syaoron, but now that I think of it, there maybe is one person you would like to go with. But I'm not sure if he is available that day. I'll find out. Anyhow, see ya tomorrow at school.

As Sakura leaned back and began to think and hear two voices in her head. `Yeah I guess she is right, I mean the only person I really loved was Syaoron and I really miss being with him, but I can't help but wonder about the other person, she said, I would enjoy being with. I wonder who he is.' Then one voice said `Yeah, but you're never going to see him again, think about it, it's been like four to five years since he left, and the last time he contacted you was like what, a year ago, and even then all he said was "Hi". But who is the other person?' Then another voice in her head countered. `That's all true, but remember he said that he loved you, and even if he just said "Hi" at least he contacted you, doesn't that mean anything?' `Good point,' Sakura thought. Then she heard someone knock on the door. Sakura looked at Kero who was now posing as a cute little stuffed animal. "Come in," Sakura said. "Hey monster, dinner is ready if you want to come down and eat," Then he glared at Kero who started to sweat a little before Sakura responded "Okay; I'll be down in a minute." `One day I'll get him.' She thought as he closed the door. <That's right, she still hasn't told them, never mind me just keep reading.>

"I think you should tell your brother about me someday." Kero said.

"If I did, he probably wouldn't let you stay, and there wouldn't be any food in the refrigerator. "

"I said someday, not now, and I wouldn't eat everything in the refrigerator, only the sweet things"

"Then what are you complaining about? And besides you only have to hold that pose for about fifteen seconds or less, and I bring you sweet food, so I wouldn't complain if I were you."

"I know, but not as much."

"The three huge pieces of chocolate cake I just gave you isn't enough?"

`Those were pretty big pieces, and they were so good,' Kero thought.

"Okay you make your point."

"See what I mean."

"Yeah…"

He knew he wouldn't win so why should he bother. Then Sakura got up and headed for the door. "Where are you going now?" asked Kero. "Dinner is right now. Didn't you hear my brother?" Sakura protested. "O yeah, then can you-"but he was cut off. "Maybe, just maybe" Sakura responded to his half said question.

Kay: "This is my first Chapter everyone, hope you enjoyed."

Kero: "Where did all the cake go?"

Kay: *grabs extra large mallet from under the desk* "Keroooo...do you really want cake?" *starts chasing him around*

Kero: "Not anymore! Get this girl away from me!"

Sakura and Madison: *sweat drops*

Sakura: "A dollar says she hits him, before he eats cake again."

Madison: "You're on."

Sakura: "Oh yeah almost forgot, PLEASE READ and REVIEW."

Madison: "Flames are allowed as long as you say why you dislike what she wrote."

Kero: "Hopefully I'll see ya all later!"

Kay: "Bye everyone, the more reviews I get the more I'll be inspired to write."
