Computer- * whimpering *

Yuriko-Talking to a computer now?

Foxtails-You're no consolation! * smacks Yuriko and kicks her computer at the same time *

Yuirko-Ow!

Foxtails-Hn. * walks into next room dragging computer along. Many crashings and screaming can be heard before she walks out with a battered looking computer behind her.* It'll work from now on hopefully.

Eriol sighed and sat up in bed, after his little memory spell with Syaoran last night his energy had been literally dissipitated on the spot.

"I hope I have enough energy to deal with Sakura's memories." He muttered before dragging himself out of bed and downstairs for breakfast.

Now one bad thing about being an energyless sorcerer is the annoyance of not being able to sense things anymore. So Eriol didn't sense Tomoyo determinedly marching up his front porch and up to his door.

Eriol groaned and tried like hell to block out the thunking on his door.

"No…" he groaned rhythmically banging his head on the table.

"Shall I get it?" asked Nakaru glancing at her currently very stressed master.

"Yes." he said as he finally found the will to stop cracking his skull.

He nearly fell asleep again into his cereal, poor Spinel had a time trying to keep his master's head out of the milk and cereal.

"What are you doing here at seven in the morning!" Eriol's head shot up at the alarm call of Nakaru's voice travelling down the corridor and into the kitchen.

Eriol nearly smashed his head into the table again when he saw Tomoyo walk into the kitchen, and did smash his head into the table when she said,

"Eriol, we need to talk about Syaoran and Sakura." I'm losing my touch he thought so much for subtle.

"Sure Tomoyo just let me regain senses first…"

Syaoran sat up in cold sweat. He glanced at the clock, seven am time to get up anyway. Damn nightmares, I thought I got rid of them. Things like this are weaknesses Syaoran! You don't have weaknesses! He splashed cold water on his face and looked into the mirror. He looked pale and vulnerable. He scowled before reaching towards a towel.

Sakura stared dully at the blackboard, Tomoyo and Eriol weren't present in class today. Wonder what's wrong with them? She vaguely wondered I'll check on them after school.

"Ms. Sakura!" yelled a voice.

Sakura shot up inwardly wincing at the formal use of English name.

"Hai, I mean yes? "

Her teacher stared at her,

"What is the answer to question six a ?" he asked.

"Uh," she hated maths as she glanced at the book in front of her…damn, not even on the right page!

" x = 15 ?" she randomly guessed.

Her teacher nodded glancing at her oddly and moved on. Sakura sighed in relief, she may not be good at maths but thank god she had an ability to guess random things.

"What are you doing to Sakura and Syaoran?" demanded Tomoyo.

Eriol sighed and rubbed his temples,

"Fine, you win, I'm too tired to try and be subtle." He muttered.

Arguing with someone like Tomoyo for three hours straight with a throbbing head just couldn't lose to Eriol.

" I spoke to Ying Fa, Hoilong, and Nadeshiko a few months ago from the spirit world." He began, "apparently they sense a new challenge is coming to face Sakura, so I sent for Syaoran. However we decreed it would be even better if they were in love because in pure magic things like love, faith and loyalty could mean everything against dark sorcery."

Tomoyo looked indignant.

"You mean you're just making them fall in love to win a fight? And besides who the hell is Ying Fa?"

Eriol shook his head,

"Ying Fa was Syaoran's best friend as was Hoilong to Sakura as you know and besides it's not just the fight that I'm making them fall in love, if it was I would have refused." he looked faintly amused, "I'm one of Sakura's best friends too you know Tomoyo, I don't want to break her heart. Syaoran is also one of my descendants, I want him to have a happy future as well." Tomoyo blushed a little shamefully, "besides I foresaw a happy future together for the two of them. And also because-" Eriol stopped short at this point.

"Keep going," prompted Tomoyo, her curiosity aroused. Eriol blushed slightly, looking faintly embarrassed. God he's cute she thought what! You're not here for that!

"Well?" she pressed on trying to jerk herself out of her thoughts on how cute Eriol was.

He sighed,

"And because Ying Fa, Hoilong and Nadeshiko thought they made a cute couple."

Tomoyo sweatdropped.

"Well I suppose they are when you think about it." She said slowly.

"I suppose you'll be going now" said Eriol closing his eyes and leaning back onto his chair.

He gasped when he felt a cool towel being placed on his forehead. His eyes shot open to meet Tomoyo's amethyst eyes.

"Of course not," she replied, "what type of friend would I be if I left you here with a raging headache and a giant bruise on your head?"

He watched as Tomoyo reached over to dip the towel into a bowl of water thinking how gorgeous she looked with sunlight pouring in from the windows and glinting on her hair, when did that get there he wondered looking at the bowel of water, Nakaru…

Tomoyo reached back and leaned over him, peering closely at the bruise on his forehead, from banging it against the table, her fingers running gently over it.

Both Tomoyo and Eriol blushed at the closeness.

"Thank you." mumbled Eriol, breaking the uncomfortable silence.

Tomoyo withdrew her fingers,

"You're welcome," she replied.

Meanwhile on the other side of the door stood Nakaru peeping through the keyhole.

"You're lucky Eriol-sama is low in energy so he can't sense you," said a voice behind her, "or else you would be dead."

Nakaru jumped up in surprise then turned around to see Spinel,

"Shhh!"

"But-" Spinel got no further as Nakaru stuffed her sleeve up his face.

"Don't they make a sweet couple?" she sighed.

"Mmfh!" was her only reply.

"Glad you agree Suppi!"
