Chapter 1: Rediscovery

Notes, disclaimers, and bullshit: This is a three-part story, set in the future of both anime's timelines. The anime are Cowboy Bebop and Outlaw Star. Ok, let me try and explain the possibility for OOC, without giving away anything. The story centers around two characters (I'm not telling) that are going to be growing up, and finding love. This story is set in the year 2074, 3 years after Cowboy Bebop and 4 years (possibly) after Outlaw Star. I will give you a hint, the couple are of the same age, and it's a male/female couple. And, my last hint, to have the two ages line up right, I had to make the events of Outlaw Star happen before Cowboy Bebop. Disclaimers: I do not own Cowboy Bebop or Outlaw Star. Outlaw Star's position in the timeline may not be accurate, but for the purposes of this fic, consider it so. (If you can't then this has been labeled an alternate timeline) I've talked too much, on to the fic.

"It sure is good to be on the home planet again," Gene Starwind, my friend, said.

Oh, I forgot to introduce myself, I'm Jim Hawking. The crew of the Outlaw Star and I are here on Earth for a little R and R. Well, I'm also here to see what's changed since I've been gone. It's been four years, and I still haven't been back home, until today. We landed near Old-Tokyo. My home is just two miles to the west, in the suburb of Neo-Tokyo known as, Neo-Odaiba. (NOTE: Odaiba refers to Digimon 01 and 02. Again, I do not own Digimon) I honestly didn't know what to expect going in, like I said, it's been four years.

"Are you ok Jim?" Mel asked, she must be worried about me still.

"I'm alright," I said turning to face Mel, who was sitting across from me; I must have been staring out the window towards our destination, Neo-Tokyo. What they didn't know was that I had a ticket to Neo-Odaiba.

"Man, things are so boring right now!" I say to myself. Well I have a right to say that, after living on the Bebop, your sensitivity to boredom skyrockets. Oh, I haven't introduced myself, I'm Francois Siniz Hesap Luter; most people call me Ed. I've hated the name my father gave me, ever since I was little. I live here now, downtown Neo-Odaiba. "I know what I can do," I keep talking to myself, it's habit. I start checking the arrival logs for the spaceport close to Old-Tokyo. I come across the ship Outlaw Star. "Hmm… bounty hunters? Let's see," I again say to my self, checking the personnel files, "Let's see, we've got Gene Starwind, Suzuka Twilight, Ashia Clan Clan, Melfina, and … NO WAY!!!" but sure enough the screen in front of me said Jim Hawking. I instructed the computer to find out where he was heading, then made my way to the train station.

"We will be arriving at Neo-Odaiba in approximately 2 minutes, everyone who will be disembarking please get ready," the PA system blared.

"Guys, there's something I've got to do before I go to Neo-Tokyo. I'll met you there," I said as I rose from my seat.

"What! Jim what are you doing?!" Gene said, he's trying to protect me again I think.

"Gene, Neo-Odaiba is my home, I'm just going to visit for a couple of days, I'll meet you in Neo-Tokyo. Now, I have to get off this train, I'll see you guy later," I said as I steeped off, Ashia and Mel whished me a farewell as the train left the station. I walked into the station to hear a voice I thought I would never hear again.

"Jim, is that you?"

I watched from the station, Jim walked of the train, waving to some people on it; I assumed they were the crew of the Outlaw Star. He started to walk towards the door, I calmly took a seat. As he opened the door, I said, "Jim, is that you?" He stopped dead in his tracks and turned slowly towards me.

When I turned to face the speaker, I came across a beautiful girl, the face and her voice being the only thing recognizable to me. It was Fran, or as I and everyone she meets calls her, Ed. Her hair was the first thing I noticed, instead of being the wacky, spiky hairstyle; her hair was now shoulder length and straight. Then, on natural progression down her body, my eyes of course stopped at her chest. I made a mental note to realize that she's also four years older now, so of course this would be more mature too. I noticed that instead of her usual white t-shirt, she's replaced it with a pink one and her pant's, instead of being her skintight pants, a pink miniskirt had been donned. She obviously has out grown her "tomboy" state.

He just stands there. I think he's checking out my body. It's true in the four years since I've seen him I've changed a lot, but form the look's of things so has he. He's a lot more muscular now. I bet inside he's still the smart guy I knew before he left. I decide to snap his flowing hormones back into shape. I stand up and slowly start walking towards him, "So you find it surprising that four years ago, you left a tomboy to mature into a beautiful knockout of a woman?" I said with an evil grin, "accidentally" brushing my breasts against his chest.

Her breasts brushed up against me, if I didn't know better I'd say she was horny. I still say she's flirting with me, I know that was no accident. "Yes, yes I do," I manage to get out, "You're beautiful."

He thinks I'm beautiful. I wonder if this means he loves me? I asked him if he would come to my apartment. He accepted and I led the way, planning things.

Ed led me to downtown Neo-Odaiba. When I entered her apartment, it looked like she just moved in last week. I guess her father was driving her nuts. She had a small bed, a couch, and a computer. It looks like she's been going to school to, books scattered everywhere. We got talking about school, other friends, and our separate adventures. Turns out she was on the bounty hunter ship the Bebop. Then the conversation turned towards relationships. We were talking about how some of our old friends were dating. She then asked if I had anyone special. "I did, but not anymore, she died."

"Oh, how sad," I replied. I hugged him; he placed his hand on my cheek.

"I wasn't lying when I said that you were beautiful."

I looked in his eyes, it was true. I could see the love there.

"Oh, Jim," I said as I leaned up to share my first kiss with him.

Her lips were planted full on mine. The passion was nothing that I had felt before. I mean, yes I had a girlfriend before, but Ed just was so beautiful. We released. The electricity still flowing through my veins. "I love you, Fran."

"I love you too, but don't call me Fran," she said. "Come with me," she said as she rose from the couch taking my arm with me.

We arrived in my bedroom, I motioned him to sit. When he did, I embraced him, leaning up to whisper in his ear, "Jim, take me please."

Jim looked shocked, "But what if you get pregnant?"

I lifted the sleeve of my right arm, "See that scar?" he nodded, "Contraceptive implant. I can't get pregnant until 2078."

"Are you sure?" he asked caringly.

"Yes, take me now, please," I said. "You're the only one I've wanted to do this with."

"All right," I said. I lied her down and kissed her. This kiss had more passion then the one on the couch. I started to move the kiss down her neck, licking her exposed collarbone. I run my hand up her shirt, taking it off her body. Her bra now showing, I proceed to remove that also.

I felt my bra being lifted from my body. Jim stood there in awe. His senses must have comeback to him as he enclosed his mouth around my breast, eliciting a moan from me. After a few seconds of this I flip him over. "My turn," I said as I begin to remove his shirt. When his shirt fell to the floor I stared at his chest, it was ripped. He had really been working out. I move my hands, somewhat unsteadily to his jeans, pulling them off slowly, revealing his boxers. "Ohh," I said, "look like someone's trying to escape." I pull off his boxer, a little faster than the jeans. Now it was my turn to stare in awe. I snapped out of it quickly and began to remove my skirt, that is until Jim stopped me.

"Now, I think it's my turn," I said with a smirk. I flipped her on her back, and then began to remove her skirt. Her pink panties coming into view. There was a wet spot developing. I removed the panties with haste to reveal her shaven treasure. I the positioned my exposed member at her entrance. "Last chance Ed," I said, although I already knew her answer.

"Take me, please," she moaned.

It took him a second to let my request process, but he thrust inward, and a sharp pain was riddled through my body.

"Are you ok?" he asked, concern all over his face.

"I'm fine, thank you, now please slowly," I said before he continued. Now instead of pain, waves of pleasure coursed through my body.

I was running on instinct. I kept on thrusting, trying to do the things she liked, or at least, things that made her moan. I felt a new tension starting to build. I was close to my climax. I started to thrust harder.

I felt him twitch, he's close to climax. I know I'm close too. He starts to thrust faster, and then, it hits me. "JIM!!!!!!!" I yell. My body starts to tighten around his member. He moans, his member filling me. After that we fell into a peaceful slumber.
