Faye awoke the next morning almost forgetting that Spike had come and slept in her bed with her. She rolled over expecting him to be there but found only wrinkled sheets. She sighed, "Another crazy dream, huh?" Slowly she sat up and frowned, lately she had been having dreams like that with him in them, but she wasn't so sure that last night was a dream. It seemed so real and he was really warm… She shook her head of the thoughts, it was just a dream and that's all it would ever be. Just a dream.

Faye got out of bed and decided to get dressed. She pulled out an old T-shirt that had some faded auto parts advertisement on it and a pair of short denim shorts. She would have worn her yellow suit but the sleeve on it was cut apart, if she had allowed Jet to sew it back together she felt it would have looked tacky, so instead she threw the shirt away. When she couldn't find anything to go with the shiny yellow shorts she threw them away, too.

Getting dressed she made her way to the bathroom to brush her teeth and fix her hair. After doing all of this she strolled to the kitchen to see if she could get a bite to eat.

"You're up early."

Faye looked up to see Spike closing the fridge door. She hadn't bothered to look and see what time it was, she just decided she could no longer sleep.

"What time is it, anyways?" She asked yawning.

"6." was his short reply.

Faye groaned, she normally wasn't up until 7 at least. Spike left the fridge with some old leftovers to go lounge on the dirty yellow couch. Faye took his place in front of the fridge and opened the door, the light inside flickered on as if to say, "I need a new bulb." She looked around and only found a piece of lint, a candy bar wrapper, and a half empty bottle of who-knows-what.

Faye grabbed a spoon out of the kitchen drawer and stalked into the living area of the ship. Leaning over the back of the couch she dipped her spoon into the cold leftovers. She took the spoonful and lifted it to her mouth. But just as she opened it to take in the chilled contents Spike craned his neck up and snatched what was on her spoon.

"What the hell, Spike?!" She glared at him.

"I grabbed the food first, you should ask before taking." He pointed his fork at her as he spoke.

Faye climbed over the couch and sat next to him, "Can I have some, almighty king of the cold leftovers?" But before he could answer she scooped up a spoonful and shoveled it into her mouth.

Spike glared at her.

"You said 'ask before you take something.'" She pointed her spoon at him for emphasis. Spike's eyebrow twitched and before he could get the words out Faye shoved a spoonful of leftovers into his open mouth. Nearly chocking he struggled to swallow it.

"Now Spike, if you want to grow up to be big and strong you have to eat your food!" Faye laughed and started eating more of what was left. Spike stared at her for a moment before looking down at the bowl in his lap.

His eyes narrowed, "Why you!"

"I saved you some. Besides, I have to eat, I look simply terrible when I don't eat." She smiled sweetly.

Spike grumbled, "You left me a SPOONFUL!"

"Well if you don't want it, I'll take it," she reached over planning to put her spoon in the bowl but was stopped when Spike used his fork to attack the spoon moving it out of the way. Quickly he snatched the last of the food and ate it swallowing proudly. Faye dropped her spoon in the bowl and began to get up when the bowl was placed in her lap. She looked at him questioningly.

"You ate it, you clean it." Was Spike's answer.

"You took the last bite." She placed it back in his lap.

"No, no, I must insist," he put it back on her lap.

"Oh, quite the gentleman, but I must reject your oh so kind offer." She smiled and gave it back to him.

Spike growled, he stood up and handed the bowl to her telling her she should wash it.

Faye stood up and gave it back to him. Not to long after that did they start throwing it back and forth screaming and yelling about who should clean the bowl.

"What the hell is going on in here?" bellowed Jet as he walked in wearing his long white with blue lining robe.

Faye and Spike both stopped arguing to face Jet. They looked back at each other and then back at Jet. In complete unison, one holding either side of the bowl, they handed it to Jet. Together, but in separate ways Spike strolled away whistling with his hands cradling the back of his head while Faye walked away pretending to be interested in her nails. Both reached the doors to their rooms, they opened them, and disappeared leaving Jet with the dirty bowl, the spoon and fork. Grumbling Jet walked into the kitchen and tossed the bowl into the sink, he'd make them both wash it together as a punishment. He smirked, 'And I won't soak it so then they'll have to scrub it just to get the stuff off of it!' Knowing the once it dried onto the bowl the crust would be like pulling cement off of a building with your bare hands. He left the kitchen to go get dressed for the day ahead.

Faye sat in her room thinking of something she could possibly do. She had been sitting in her room for over an hour. She was so bored that just when she thought she couldn't become anymore bored, she become bored all over again and worse than before. She sighed and hunched over as she sat at the edge of her bed.

Standing she decided she'd go be bored in front of the TV. Stretching she made her way out of her room and to the living area where she'd plop on the couch lazily. She rested her arm on the arm of the couch and rested her head in her hand. This was Faye's normal day.

She looked around the room, her day wasn't complete. Something was missing…

"A-ha!" She shouted out.

Spike wasn't there to bug her. That was exactly what was missing! She grinned to herself and decided that she should enjoy this slow, peaceful, wonderful, boring, stupid, non-exciting day. Her smile faded as soon as she realized what made her days go by quicker. She sighed and grumbled, "Lunkhead…"

"You rang?" came a sarcastic voice.

Faye looked up to see Spike entering the room. He wore black sweat pants with a towel around his neck. His body glistened with sweat; it was obvious that he had been fighting imaginary people. Spike casually strolled over and flopped down next to her making that side of the couch sink in and caused her to lean towards him. He looked down as she nearly fell on him.

He smirked, "Didn't think you wanted me that bad."

Sitting up again she hit him in the chest, "Shut up! All I want from you is to go away!"

Twisting her words around he calmly replied, "You want me to take you away?"

Faye grumbled, "Argh! Why you!" Her face turned red, "I hate you!" Standing up she walked away to see if she could find something to do in the kitchen.

Spike chuckled to himself, but soon frowned when he realized that teasing Faye was the highlight of his day. It was like a game of who could be more sarcastic and mean with venomous come backs and spitting out rude comments. He wondered who was winning at the moment. He considered this round his because Faye had got up and left the ring. Spike leaned back on the couch and propped his feet up on the make shift coffee table.

Faye had just gotten out of the shower and she was now drying and changing into her nightclothes. Using the slightly damp towel she had wrapped or her body she dried her legs, stomach, and worked her way up getting her chest, neck and arms. She tossed the towel onto her bed when she was finished and began unwrapping her hair, which was also wrapped in a towel. She rubbed her head and took most of the water out of her hair; she tossed the towel onto her bed next to the other and grabbed her white tank top. She slipped it on and adjusted it, next she pulled on her blue shorts and made sure they were on comfortably. She grabbed the towels and headed to the bathroom to hand them up to dry. Leaving the bathroom she slipped into her room again to brush her hair.

Faye looked in the small cracked mirror that hung on her wall. She studied herself for a few moments; she didn't know what she was looking for exactly. She just liked to see herself in the mirror sometimes; she'd do that once in a while to remind her that she was still herself. As strange as it sounds, she was always one that liked to know who she was and what she was doing. Wasn't like her to be lost and confused, she was Faye Valentine, she may not have been Faye from her past, but right now she was Valentine and that's what mattered.

She sighed and pulled her wrinkled sheets up. She hadn't made them from the night before because she was just too lazy, besides, she'd be sleeping in it the next night and the situation would repeat. Fix this sheets nicely, sleep in them, mess them up, fix them again. Faye turned her small lamp out, climbed into bed and wrapped the sheets around herself. She found a comfortable position on her side and closed her eyes. She yawned, it was 11 p.m. and everyone seemed to have gone to bed while she was in the shower. She took a shower at night before bed so she wouldn't have to worry about having hot water in the morning. So far the plan had been working.

Click.

Faye opened her eyes to see Spike's tall figure in the doorway. He stepped in clumsily and stumbled before closing the door. Stumbling over to the bed his body language made it clear that he was getting in. Faye scooted closer to the other edge of the bed to make room. She wondered if the night before had actually been a dream, she was guessing by the looks of it that it wasn't. Its not that she didn't like having him in her bed, she was just uneasy that he was sleeping walking and… sleep-sleeping?

"Spike?"

Mumble, "Yesh?"

"Spike, wake up. You're sleep walking." she tried to explain.

He climbed into bed and wrapped up in her sheets as well, "don't tell me," snort, "I know what I'm," snore.

He had, she guessed, gone to sleep in his mind. She wondered why Spike had been doing this. Faye sighed, she had remembered hearing from someone that it was dangerous to wake someone who is sleep walking. Maybe it was a movie that she heard it from, but either way, she didn't want to find out why it was dangerous because when Spike is involved in something "dangerous," that word was an understatement.

Faye fell asleep shortly after planning to look up this sleepwalking thing; she'd get to the bottom of this.
