The two bounty hunters had long since returned with the groceries. Jet was amazed they had been responsible enough to find a good sale. He had been able to make a rather good meal with the items that had been "on sale." So dinner was more enjoyable then usual. After dinner Jet had cleaned up and decided he was tired. He complained about all the repairs he had done and turned in saying if anybody disturbed him he'd have their head on a stick out side his door as a warning to anyone else who might bother him.

Spike shrugged and waited for Ed to disappeared with Tomato on head and Ein at her feet. He figured she slept in a vent somewhere but didn't care as long as she wasn't annoying him. Spike looked around to make sure no one was around before bending over and reaching his hand under the couch. He then proceeded to pull it out with the sweet wine bottle filled with yummy rich people's water. He smiled happily and opened the tall bottle to take a drink. As he finished his gulp he looked over to see a cup held by a delicate, slender, pale hand. Oh, and nicely manicured finger nails too.

"No," he took another swig.

"Oh c'mon! If you hadn't been dragged into the store with me you would have never gotten it!" she complained.

He watched her through the corner of his eye before tipping the bottle into her cup. He gave her SOME. Which was enough to satisfy her for now.

Happily she walked around the couch to the front to sit down. Dropping back into the couch she sat slouched up against the arm and back of the couch, her right foot on the cushion. "Thanks." She lifted her cup slightly before taking a drink.

He grumbled, "yeah whatever."

S everal drinks later they sat happily slumped against each other. Faye being less tolerable to alcohol was drunk while Spike was still able to think rather clearly.

"Spige," she said suddenly.

"What?" He said rolling his eyes. She had been relatively quiet up until now. He wondered what bright idea could have possibly entered her swimming head.

"I, ya know, I wasn't lying when I said you sleep walked." She chuckled. "Ya know?"

"Ok Faye, whatever you say."

"No, Spige, I'm swerious! You would come and you'd climb into my bed!" She giggled.

He rolled his eyes, "Sure Faye."

"No, really Spige, you know those BUGS!" She laughed out on the last word.

"What about the bugs Faye?" He said dully.

"They weren't bugs! That was US!" She giggled uncontrollably.

When she had stopped laughing and calmed down, which took a few minutes he asked, "How was it us?"

"I told jou! Jou would sleep walk into my room and climb," she walked her fingers up in mid air pausing to giggle a little, "into my bed and we were gunna DO IT, but you were asleep." She said sliding down more. She slid down until she was lying on the couch looking up at his back.

Spike turned and looked down at her. Her cheeks were warm and tinted and she had a pleasant smile on her face as she watched him with drunk eyes. "I'm not making up stories," her words were slightly slurred which made the statement harder to believe. She smiled up at him.

"What are you smiling about?" he asked a smirk upon his face as well. She was kind of like a kid right now, she was cute in a sense.

She poked his nose, "Your nose is long." She giggled when he furrowed his brow. "And your hair is fuzzy." She tugged on it. Giggling a little she turned over and sat up on her knees. She ruffled his hair, "It's very fuzzy!" She giggled a lot this time. "Soft though," she stop abruptly to ponder the feeling of his hair. Spike just looked at her, an amused smile on his face. This was one of those times you needed a camera.

Faye grinned marveling at his hair, "It's very curly, I bet you'd look really funny if it were cut." She leaned over a little so she made eye contact with him. Looking him in the eyes she noticed something. Maybe it was her drunken state but… "You have funny eyes," she lifted a finger and would have poked his eyes out if he hadn't grasped her hand.

"I do," was his short reply.

"This one," she shouted as she pointed at it with her other hand, "Is lighter than," she pointed to his right eye, "this one!" She was purely amazed. "You're playin' a trick on me!" She decided.

"How so?" he chuckled slightly wondering if this is how she always was when she got drunk.

"You put in a contact tingy just to play wit my head!"

"Oh, you caught me," he agreed with her.

She nodded with authority, "I did." She went back to ruffling his hair before sliding her hands down his face, "smooth…" She seemed so primitive, he was surprised she could form words.

His curiosity and amusement let her play with his face and hair. He didn't mind so much, it wasn't like she'd remember anything in the morning, so he hadn't a thing to really worry about.

Fayes eyes became somewhat lost as she slid her finger across his bottom lip, "Soft…"

Faye watched his lips, she'd felt them before. They were nice, and they did good things, unless they were insulting her. She slowly moved forward her eyes transfixed on his lips.

She was so close until, "Faye you're drunk." He started to push her away but she wouldn't move. Her argument was, "And you were asleep."

She had a point, although the whether it was true or not he didn't know. Its not like he didn't want to. Even so, she was in no way sober, or was she? She had said that so clearly, as if she knew exactly what she was doing. She swooped in again this time retrieving the kiss she had wanted earlier. At first he didn't know if he should, but he threw reason away and kissed back. He dreamt of this a lot lately and now it was happening. The kiss was somewhat sweet, and it lingered as she pulled away. She looked at him through heavy eyes. He stared back not really sure what to do. There was only so much he'd do with a drunk person, even if he had been waiting for years and "teased" everyday with no relief, he wasn't going to take advantage of her.

"Spige," she started.

"Yeah?"

"When you came into my room… What were you dreaming about?"

"Huh?" he asked caught off guard. After all, he didn't even know if he'd really gone into her room unaware of it.

"You wanted to 'do it', ya know? So is that what you were dreaming about?" Her drunken stupor only allowed her so many words in her vocabulary at the moment.

"Hm, I guess it's obvious what I was dreaming about," he coughed uncomfortably.

"Well then," her finger came to her lips thoughtfully. "WHO, were you dreaming about?"

He looked down at her, her eyes seemed to be pleading with him. He didn't know what for though.

She waited, but when he didn't answer she saddened. "Well, was it at least me?" She sounded like she might cry.

"Uh, Faye, I uh…" Loss for words.

"It was me, right?" She asked frantically, "It wasn't somebody else, was it?" Was it the alcohol making her emotional? Or perhaps just womanly crazy mood swings?

His eyes shifted from side to side trying to think of an answer. He could tell her the truth, that lately he had been dreaming of nothing but her, but it scared him. Lately, she seemed to hate him beyond anything in the solar system. She'd probably be disgusted with him.

Realization seems to come at all those weird times. Because Spike, just now, began to piece things together. The "bug bites," the way she seemed to look tired and irritable (most likely from being kept awake), the way he'd wake up on the couch facing the opposite of the side he fell asleep on. It wasn't that much to go by, but Faye seemed to be telling the truth. The bug bites did look awfully like hickies- ARGH! (A/N Spike à >.<)

He had been dreaming about HER and sleep walking to HER room!

…That explained the realism of the dreams. His eyebrow quirked up, Faye seemed to be rather enjoying it in the dreams. He looked down at her just as a tear rolled down her cheek.

"Ack! Wait! Don't cry!" He panicked, this woman was psychotic!

She sniffled and wiped her nose with her wrist and arm. "You were using me!" (Remember she's drunk!)

"No! No, no, no! I wasn't using you! I swear!" He tried to calm her down.

"So why did you leave every night?"

"I um… I dunno." he shrugged. "If it helps I was dreaming about you." He tried to smile.

Her eyes squinted slightly, she made some more twisted, weird faces. He watched her moods change. "Really?" her head titled innocently.

He nodded, "Yeah, really."

The corners of her lips twitched, she wanted to smile. "So you really wanted to do that with me?"

(Spike à -.-;;) She made it sound like he was just using her anyways. "Well, only if you wanted to." He scratched the back of his head, "I'm sorry."

She smiled, "you're sorry?"

"Yeah, for doing what I did…" He looked down.

"It's ok. If you had been awake I would have let you go farther."

Spike's eye twitched, 'note to self, no more alcohol for Faye. Childish when drunk.' Spike's attention was returned to her when she tapped him on the shoulder. He was surprised to feel her lips crushed against his and her body so close. He'd never understand women… But he kissed back anyways.

Faye fingers plowed through his thick hair as they kissed. Spike arms wound around her waist and back and pulled her as close as he could get her. She moaned softly into the kiss her hands finding their way to the buttons on his shirt. Spike broke the kiss and pulled her fumbling fingers away from the top button, "You shouldn't do that," he breathed.

"Why not?" She pouted up at him.

"'cause you're drunk." He said it with such confidence that it made sense to her and she agreed with him; being far to fuzzy to think about what had been said.

"Let's go to sleep," Spike said standing from the couch and helping a stumbling Faye along with him. As they made it to her room Spike noticed out of the corner of his eye Ed staring at them. She grinned toothily and said, "Spike person is going into Faye-Faye's room again! And this time with her!" She rambled on a little more before going back into the shadows snickering and dancing.

Spike gave a lopsided grin before leading Faye and himself into her room. They slept peacefully together for once.
