Chapter 35
J'dee felt the pressure of a body moving into the bed and she let out a soft moan feeling the body curl up behind her.
“Hmmm… You're late.”
Zack pulled her up to him mumbling in her ear. “Sorry Roy kept me longer than intended.”
“Itssokay…” J'dee rested her head on his arm wrapping it in her arms.
She felt Zack's breath touch her ear as his free hand began to traverse her body. She let out a soft moan.
“Zack… tired…” She mumbled.
J'dee felt herself rolled onto her back and she felt Zack move over her and she blinked for a moment looking up at him. “Hey what did I just-?” She stopped for a moment only seeing Zack's shadow leaning over her. She blinked for a moment she'd been sleeping a while but she knew her eyes were used to the dark.
Obvious confusion crossed her features a she realized she couldn't see Zack's features in the dark.
The hand moved down her neck to the top button of the night shirt and the buttons were flicked open one by one, the mouth beginning a trail down after the hand.
J'dee could feel her face heat up; she looked to the clock and blinked seeing the clock reading 3am.
“Z-Zack… we have to get up in six hours for training… I don't want to be…” She covered her mouth quickly to prevent the gasp as his tongue began to draw a circle between her breasts.
“You…” She mumbled. “Big trouble mister.” She added scolding him from under her hand.
She blinked seeing him look up at her the blue eyes glistening in the dark making her blink for a moment and she stopped seeing him pull back something between his teeth.
“W-What…?”
Then she felt herself pulled up, and she saw the glisten of a large silver chain. She glanced down seeing the hole in her chest, the chain coming from the hole.
“Shit I'm asleep.” She grabbed the chain, and pulled it free of his teeth.
“Not quite asleep…” The hand moved between her thighs and she hissed. “Ever tried astral sex?” Zack seemed to chuckle.
J'dee gasped. “Ohmigod pervert… you have spent too much time with Roy and Reno!”
She felt Zack's mouth move to her neck and up and she heard the voice in her ear.
“I'm not Zack…”
J'dee bolted awake and jumped out of the bed looking round. Obviously Zack still hadn't returned. She walked out into the lounge. J'dee stopped seeing Reno lying on the couch, the red head rolled over looking at her.
“Nice look yo. You up for a reason?”
“Is Zack-” She began.
“With Roy still.” Reno sat up for a moment. “Something wrong yo?”
“Can I stay out here with you till he comes back?” J'dee moved up to the couch.
Reno nodded shuffling to the side. “Sure thing yo… you have a bad dream?”
“I think Air is trying to attack me in my sleep.” J'dee moved up to Reno and sat down next to him. “Can you wake me if I start sounding distressed?”
“I think Air is trying to attack me in my sleep.” J'dee moved up to Reno and sat down next to him. “Can you wake me if I start sounding distressed?”
Reno slipped an arm round her. “Sure thing yo.”

Misato rolled over and winced as the bright morning light hit her in the face. She groaned and yanked her pillow over her head.
“Toby, close the blinds would you?” she moaned. Silence was the only response she got. Misato peeked from under her pillow, wincing as she opened her eyes. Tobias's spot in the bed was empty, and it had been for some time it seemed because there was no warm spot from his body. Misato got out of bed and picked up her discarded shorts and tank top, tugging them on. She padded barefoot threw the house before finding Tobias standing on the porch in front of his ruin pool. He was wearing only a pair of jeans and was just staring at the sunrise. He didn't even turn around as Misato came up to his side to give him a hug.
“Hey, how are you feeling?” Misato asked. Tobias shrugged before putting his arm around her.
“About the same.” Tobias grumped. Misato said nothing, but buried her face into his chest. They stood there for awhile before Tobias spoke again. “I can't help but feel like this is all my fault.”
“No its not!” Misato snapped, looking up at him. He returned her look sadly.
“It is, Misato. These people used you, Shinji, Gene, and everyone else just to get at us. Then they kidnap Washu but I don't do anything because I figure she can handle herself. She's a goddess after all, how can I help? Never mind that she helped me save ADA and Jehuty, and everything else she's done for us. Then there's Jim. I was his father in his world I hardly spend time with him and anyone else from the Outlaw Star's crew. I was too damn focused on fixing Shinji's problems. Then I neglected Shinji to spend time with you.” Tobias replied, and rubbed his face with his free hand. “I can't seem to do anything right. Everything seems so simple when you're watching shit like this on TV or movies but when you're actually involved its complicated real damn fast.”
“Your biggest problem Toby is that you're not letting us help.” Misato replied. She pushed away from Toby to glare at him. “You want to do all of this by yourself and you shouldn't! Think about this for a minute! Belle and J'dee are right, you were going to go off half-cocked and without any plan. Well let's make one! While they focus on training and whatever they're going to do to get ready, let's do the same! You have Gene, who is one hell of a good shot and can think on his feet! Jim can come up with a plan and look up the info about this area where these people are! Then you have Aisha who can tear the place apart and Suzuka who can split them in half with a bokken! Not mention me! I didn't get as far in Nerv on just my good looks alone you know!”
Tobias stared at Misato for awhile, before grinning.
“I love you, you know that?”
“Oh shut up Toby and call Gene! We're going to his place!”

The morning light moved through the window and Belle sighed as she woke up, something warm was pressed to her back.
“That better not be you Grimmjow,” she warned as her body temperature dropped and there was a yelp before whoever was in bed behind her vanished. She sighed and contemplated sleep for another hour before she needed to get up. She brought her temperature back to warm while she slowly slipped back to almost sleep.
“Mom?” a sleepy voice asked and Belle pretended to be asleep before someone pressed something cold against the back of her neck. She jerked and sat up, glaring at Edward as he waved his automail hand at her.
“You two need to learn to learn how to cook,” she sighed as she got out of bed and gave them a look. They grinned as they headed to the kitchen, giving Belle a chance to get dressed. “Damn manipulative soul sons.”
She exited her room to see the boys sitting on the floor in front of the muted TV battling it out Budokai style. Belle smiled before she saw two redheads on the couch. Her eyes narrowed on Reno as he held open J'dee's night shirt and looked in. J'dee was unconscious and leaning against Reno like she had been there a while.
“Explain,” Belle ordered and Reno let the shirt fall shut before grinning innocently.
“She asked me yo. She wanted to sleep here until Zack got back, bad dreams or something yo,” he said. Belle held up her hand, water condensed, turned to ice, cracked and then vanished.
“A reminder that parts of your anatomy will not be so neat if the same process is done to them,” Belle warned and Reno grinned more.
“I'd like something to eat too yo,” he asked and Belle pointed at a lock of his hair hanging in front of his face. It froze in a second before falling off into his lap. “After you eat of course yo.”
~*~*~*~
Zack walked into the apartment building and stopped he blinked seeing Reno and J'dee asleep on the couch, he sighed seeing half the buttons undone on the nightshirt.
“What…?”
Belle shook her head. “I don't want to know…” She set the breakfast down, for Alphonse and Ed.
Zack moved to the couch and crouched down. “Reno you better have behaved.”
“I peeked yo… can you blame me?” Reno cracked one eye open.
Zack let out a breath. “So why?”
Reno raised a brow. “I'm a guy yo I haven't managed to get laid since I got here.”
“I meant why did she-?” Zack began.
Zack saw Reno's look he caught a glimpse of something sincere behind it. “She wasn't sleeping well yo. I'll let her explain it.” Reno shook J'dee lightly. “Hey c'mon yo… Zack's here…”
J'dee sat up for a moment blinking tiredly, she stopped and blushed. Zack smiled.
“You have a nightmare or something?” His hand moved to the buttons doing them up.
“Something.” J'dee replied.
Zack touched the side of her face. “You still look tired. Maybe you should get some proper sleep.”
“Will you stay near by?” J'dee asked.
“Of course…”
“Belle we're going to start training a little later so J'dee can rest up properly.” Zack took J'dee by the hand and lead her into her bedroom.
Reno lent back into the couch as the door closed. “So what's for breakfast?” He grinned at Belle.

“At this rate I'm going to be the best one out of all of us,” Belle sighed as she stood on the balcony with Hisagi and Roy.
“Oh, overconfident already?” Roy teased and Belle smirked as she held out her hand quickly and a blade of ice caressed his throat and he blinked.
“No, I know where I stand when compared to J'dee and Toby. Of course I had a natural advantage anyway,” Belle said.
“Water is a physical substance that can be both seen and felt,” Hisagi explained and Roy nodded.
“Fire has to be hard since it's a plasma, but Air is tricky since it is invisible, it is very rare to be able to see a gas in nature,” Belle sighed.
“Plasma?” Hisagi asked and Roy smirked.
“Solid, liquid, and gas were used for the elements for a while, but fire was in a category without distinction since it didn't fit as those three, it was known as plasma for a long time,” the alchemist explained.
“Ah,” Hisagi muttered as Belle stared at the ground where Renji and Ikkaku were annoying Kira. “What are you planning?” She blinked at the two men slowly before a smirk graced her face as she looked over the ledge of the balcony.
“I had a dream about flying, I was just wishing I could do that,” she sighed as she stepped back. “Sadly, with a physical body like this…it would be impossible.”
“How would you fly?” Roy asked and Belle looked at him, her eyes filling with years she couldn't possess.
“Vapor, to become vapor and sit in the wind,” she said turning away. “I'm going to head out. Ed, Al, come along, I'll drive, I'll also send Renji and Kira up to help you motivate J'dee.”
~*~*~*~
J'dee was aware she was on the astral plain, she stood in the familiar meadow the wind whipping about her, and she let out a breath and felt the temperature plummet.
“My mediation center… what-?” She looked over her shoulder seeing the normally closed black gate open and she blinked seeing the familiar figure standing in the thresh hold of the gate.
“Air… wait… how?”
She saw the smirk before let out a gasp. She could feel his energy clearly he was really in her place, her secret place on the astral.
“You only have your spiritual powers blocking this.” He held up his arms stepping through the thresh hold. “But not you're elemental…”
J'dee turned round using her very elemental powers to send a gust of wind at Air, before bolting through the other gate. She made her way through the familiar forest.
The blue leaves on the darkly tanned trees shielding her in darkness from Air as she continued to run. Looking down she clutched at the chain remembering the dream.
`I'm not Zack…'
“It was him… it had to be… I don't get it… what's he up to?” J'dee asked herself before skidding to a halt and looking over the edge of the cliff and then down, half way down the strangely midnight blue colored cliff were the stairs she needed to get to her stronger location in the astral plain. She felt the wind pick up behind her. She closed her eyes letting her wings sprout before she jumped off the cliff and glided down to the stairs.
J'dee began to run down the stairs, the stairs had originally reached to the point she stopped on the cliff but something had broken them down and recently, it would take too much of her energy to repair them now.
She felt a gust of wind and ducked before a section of the wall exploded from the impact of the wind. J'dee glanced above seeing Air there his black wings flapping while he smirked at her. “You're not going anywhere…”
“Don't count on it.” J'dee dove to the water's below.
Air smirked. “Oh c'mon you are making this WAAAAAAY to easy!” He landed on the stairs and looked up from the water to the purple clouded sky above, the only thing similar in her astral world was the color of the moon and the water, everything else had a majority deep purple and blue undertone in colors. He held his hand out and blew a gust of wind out in front of himself and he heard the sound of something rattling and he smirked. “Just what I was after.” He leapt toward the rattling sound and his hand grasped the chain. He grinned using the combination of the water below and the air around them and he slowly began to freeze the chain over before yanking it.
J'dee felt her body slam into the old Grecian style pillar before she hit the ground gasping. “H-how…” She looked up seeing Air land standing over her and she looked up at the frozen chain. “This is my part of the plain how did you-?” She saw his blue eyes flicker for a moment while he grinned.
“You can't out run me anywhere…” He held his hand up and she watched four tubes slam into the ground and she stopped dead seeing the familiar figures inside.
“CLOUD! GOJYO!” She rushed forward, Air yanked the frozen chain round his hand and she was pulled back her back landing squarely against his chest, his voice by her ear.
She heard the creak of bending metal before she was flung to the ground, he held up the chain in his hand before grinning and looking at the chain.
“You know why this exists here now when it didn't before? Blame… the Shinigami.” He was looking over to Ichigo in the tube. “Wake up boy… time for a good old fashioned nightmare.”
Air dropped to his knees moving over J'dee and wrapping her wrists in the chains. “I get to finish what I started this morning… and Ichigo gets to watch…”
J'dee looked over to the tank and she stopped seeing those deep brown eyes looking at her in recognition.

Belle pulled up in Toby's driveway, and made a show of not looking at her friend as she watched Ed, Al, Roy, and Hawkeye get out of the car while Grimmjow, Kenpachi, Yachiru, Yumichika, and Ikkaku seemed to appear out of nowhere.
“Hey, whats up? Where's J'dee?” Toby asked and Belle decided if he was going to be social she would too.
“Not feeling too hot. I think she's worried about Air,” Belle explained. “She was up late last night. I found her on the couch with Reno when I woke up.”
“With Reno…damn…I thought she was into Zack,” Toby muttered and Belle rolled her eyes.
“She fell asleep sitting on the couch next to Reno…pervert,” Belle muttered. “Besides, J'dee has the sense that when she's going to have sex, she keeps the doors and windows closed.”
“She just needs to remember to lock them,” Grimmjow chuckled and Belle sighed.
“Enough with the comedy routine, we are here to train,” she scolded as she pulled off her jeans and T-shirt to reveal a black bathing suit and black bike shorts. “To work troops. I have some things I want to work on so that when I fight Water he's going to be surprised.”
~*~*~*~
“Yeah, about that.” Tobias said. Belle turned to him with a raised eyebrow. “I'm training with you guys. I'm going over to Gene's and we're going to come up with a plan for storming that place. Then when you feel ready, we'll be ready too. I'm not going to sit on my ass and train while Shinji's there.”
It was silent for a minute before Belle just rolled her eyes at him.
“Fine whatever, do what you want Toby.” Belle said before turning around and heading to the training area. Tobias sighed as she stormed off.
“That went better than I thought it would.”
~*~*~*~
Kira moved to the balcony ready to shunpo off to the training area when he heard J'dee's door open. He stopped for a moment and saw Zack open the door. “Kira help me for a moment.
Kira looked at Hisagi. “Go on ahead keep Belle protected.”
Hisagi looked at Renji who sighed from the balcony. “I know that look. Fine I'll stay.”
“Thanks Renji…” Hisagi leapt off the balcony before vanishing.
Zack walked into the room holding the door open.
Kira stopped seeing J'dee almost thrashing in her sleep but from the looks of it an invisible force was holding her down to the bed.
“Do you see anything odd?” Zack asked.
Renji looked in the door. “Her chain's out in the open.”
Kira nodded. “Something's attacking her on the astral plain.”
Zack frowned. “Can you bring her back?”
“Water normally works, but Belle has already gone.” Kira frowned.
Renji walked over to the bed and yanked something in mid air. The bed jolted with the impact of something landing hard and he sidestepped as J'dee sat up looking down for a moment gasping.
Zack blinked. “J'dee?”
Her hand moved to her eyes. “I didn't mean to end up there… I…” She began slowly.
“Where?” Zack asked.
“The caves, I somehow ended up in the caves. I saw Ichigo… He was….” She stopped before going quiet. “Kira can I talk with you in private for a moment I have a few questions.”
Kira looked to Renji who just shrugged.
“I won't be long Renji then I'll head out.” Kira commented.
Renji sighed. “Yeah yeah don't take to long okay?”
“Go ahead without me.” Kira smiled.
Renji sighed. “Yeah okay.”

Four columns of water were sticking out of the pond vertically and Belle was standing on the top of one grinning down at the guys.
“That's no fair!” Ed cried and Belle waved before Grimmjow appeared in front of her and she dodged backwards. The water hooked her ankle and pulled her over the edge so that one foot was lost in the water. As Grimmjow entered a dive to catch her Belle's other foot `landed' on the side and sunk. She stopped and drew her hand in front of her showing off her ice sword. Grimmjow drew his blade and they met with a metallic clang.
“What the fuck?” he muttered and Belle grinned as she ducked down, slashing at his belly. He flipped into the air staring at her as she smiled and began to fall again sliding down the column. Then Yumichika and Ikkaku were on either side of her and Belle blinked before leaping off the column and a tentacle of water wrapped around each foot, pulling her to stand on the nearest of the other columns.
“When the fuck did you start that?!” Ikkaku cried with obvious pleasure at the challenge and Belle shrugged as she rested her blade on her shoulder.
“I thought about it last night. As long as I have the water under my control I have several dimensions of fight,” she explained and Yumichika smirked.
“How long can you keep this up?” he asked and Belle blinked before obviously thinking about it. He struck then and Belle gasped. She was gone in a second, sucked into the water column.
“Do we dare try to follow her into the water?” Yumichika asked.
“We haven't tried it,” Ikkaku muttered.
“It would be crazy,” Grimmjow stated and all three shared a look.
“Oiy! Captain, you wanna try something?” Ikkaku called to Kenpachi. The massive man turned his attention to the three and noted the looks on their faces before grinning insanely.

Kira stood on the balcony he had spent the good art of the afternoon with J'dee just listening to her recollection of what had happened.
She lit what seemed like her tenth cigarette since she started the story.
Kira saw her hands shaking and he glanced behind at Zack standing in the doorway.
“He started to rape you in your most powerful astral place?” Zack asked suddenly.
J'dee looked over her shoulder. “It started out there… once it was defiled enough the entire area dissolved to the caves, Ichigo was awake… He did not look happy to see what was happening.”
Zack nodded. “He's a real strong kid right? Next time if you're in trouble taunt Air into doing his worse. Get him to do his worse. If I think what will happen does, Ichigo might snap and if one of them is out of those tubes, it's a start…”
Kira glanced at Zack. “You're telling her to go back?”
“No only if she does end up back there… to wake up Ichigo… In turn he might be able to get the others out of there.” Zack replied. “I'd rather she doesn't go back there though.”
J'dee let out a breath. “Air said these chains are the Shinigami fault. But I don't think they are… Kira tell me abut the chains. He's trying to break mine… why would he do that when he doesn't have my body?”
Kira glanced at her. “Normally the chain breaking means death.”
J'dee shook her head. “Not right away right?”
Zack looked at Kira. “There's a time limit in this world.”
Kira blinked for a moment. “You know this?”
“Sephiroth said it's just like going into a coma, a body just doesn't drop dead cause there's no soul especially when everything else is functioning, it's just… not normal.”
“I would guess it would be a coma.” Kira mused. “But are we really thinking Air is going a different route?”
“I think he's just trying to break me the best way how… sleep deprivation. Give me nightmares that keep me up then when I'm weakened he'll strike. He's also killing my astral projection chances… So I won't be able to use it in the battle.” J'dee stood up looking at the sun setting blinking for a moment. “Wait were we really talking for that long?”
Kira nodded. “Its okay… you had questions it was best you get them off your chest. Might I advise for you to avoid any heavily dosed sleeping remedies like potions, pills or even herbal? We might need to wake you in a pinch again.”
J'dee nodded. “Just don't let Renji do it… that hurt.” She rubbed her chest.
~*~*~*~
“And Kenpachi kept plowing into the water, I'm glad I made the columns so thick. Oh, and thank you again for taking care of the laundry, Hakkai, you really shouldn't have,” Belle sighed as she rested outside among the hanging sheets.
“You and Miss J'dee need to train, plus you usually feed most of us in the morning and evening,” Hakkai said and Belle smiled at him before noting the darkness in Hakkai's eyes.
“He'll be fine Hakkai,” Belle said and Hakkai blinked as he looked at her, smiling that “Hakkai” smile and Belle shook her head. “I know how you think Hakkai, I know you're thinking about him, and I swear to you Hakkai, I will do everything in my power to make them pay for taking him.”
“You have enough to worry about without worrying about Gojyo,” Hakkai said and Belle got up and took Hakkai's hands in hers, squeezing them tightly.
“J'dee is my Gojyo, she means as much to me as he does to you. I can't imagine where you are right now Hakkai, but I know I don't like it and I will, by God, do what is in my ability to right the wrong that all of you have been done because of us,” Belle said. “Now go inside and rest, I have some sleeping pills in our bathroom, I'd take three if I were you.”
“They probably won't do anything,” he sighed and Belle smiled.
“Sometimes just the psychological knowledge of knowing you took them will put you under,” she said and Hakkai smiled.
“I can't leave you alone,” he said and Belle looked over her shoulder, Hisagi was leaning on the building next to the door.
“I find alone has been rather hard to achieve in the last few days,” she said and Hakkai nodded before heading inside. Belle retuned to her seat and sighed as she sat among the sheets and she waited a moment before she patted the seat next to her.
Hisagi stared at Belle as he pulled off the building and moved to sit next to her on the bench. She was sitting upright, her eyes closed as the wind flowed around her, making her hair move in gentle waves. She had seemed passionate about what she said to Hakkai and for a moment Hisagi was disappointed by the idea that she might be interested in the man. He shook the thought from his mind as he remembered their moment in the backseat of her car. His body tightened at the memory of her hot mouth and searching hands.
“You seem tense,” she said and Hisagi blinked to look at her, she was looking at him with her normal eyes. Eyes that were mortal, that weren't prepared to strike to fight, her eyes. He shifted and realized that he was, he had been so stressed with J'dee's questions about the astral plane, with the kidnappings, and all that was going on. He could feel the confrontation of these amazing humans and their elemental enemies getting closer and closer like the final battle with Aizen.
“It is a stressful time,” he said and she smiled, it was gentle serene and he was struck with the urge to shake her again and demand to know why she can smile like that.
“Let me help,” she said and he stared at her for a moment.
“Alright,” he whispered and she got up to stand in front of him, she extended one hand over him, her eyes closed. Then he felt it, as if the muscles in his body relaxed at once and he felt like he was liquid on the bench. The very blood in his back was vibrating, shaking the muscles, loosening them, and most importantly taking the tightness and soreness from them. He could remember the expression on Ikkaku's and Grimmjow's faces as they had been given this treatment and he prayed that his face wasn't as stupid. Belle giggled and Hisagi felt his hopes dash, he probably looked at dumb as those idiots.
Slowly he became aware of blood moving lower on his body and he began to blush. His body began to react, tightening and filling. He wanted to moan but by strength of will, even with his muscles being tantalized with this treatment, he managed to keep quiet.
“Oh Hisagi, you're literally in knots,” Belle whispered and he looked up to see her eyes were still closed and her fingers were twitching. The sensation moved into his belly and thighs. It was too much, too much for an overworked and over stressed vice-captain who had been acting as Captain, Vice-captain, and now bodyguard. His body reacted as Grimmjow's and Ikkaku's had. It was worse than when she had attacked him in the car and he couldn't stop the moan. It was a nonverbal exclamation of pleasure as his muscles were put into a state of relaxation that was pure bliss. Hisagi had no idea how long it went on but soon enough his body was completely relaxed and he was panting like he had run a marathon. He felt fantastic, save for the hardness between his legs.
“Well, that was a tough job, you need to relax more often,” Belle whispered and there was something in her voice that was off. Hisagi opened his eyes, unsure when in the process he had closed them. It was so hard to open his eyes all the way but he managed to look up at her. Her eyes were flashing with something, her cheeks were flushed with color and she was staring at him strangely. He knew he was aroused but he didn't think she could tell through his robes. “The blood.” His eyes widened and he blushed more as he realized that she had gotten a good view of everything by looking at his blood.
“I didn't…” he didn't get a chance to finish, her finger pressed his lips shut.
“I know, I don't mind, I know it feels good,” she whispered and she looked sad. He remembered how she had whispered that no-one found her attractive. The file they had on her said she was alone, they knew she was single from living with her, and he had seen how some of the men looked at her. While they had been in love with her duplicates, they had forgotten that Belle was her own person. He caught her wrist and pulled her down, she stumbled into his lab and he held her to his chest.
“It's not just that,” he said, holding her head below his chin. “You're…amazing. You accept all of this and you don't hesitate. You accepted us, even when you didn't know who we were you jumped into a river off a bridge to save a child. You are amazing.” She seemed still in his arms and her hands fisted in his uniform.
“I'm just…doing what I have to,” she said and he held her tighter.
“You ran after Vincent, you didn't have to do that. You stopped Tobias; you didn't have to do that. You've fed us and healed us; you didn't have to do that. You do so much…I wish I had your certainty,” he confessed and she straddled his thighs, pulling back to look him in the eyes. Her blue orbs so innocent and trusting, it was dizzying to know that her eyes could hold eons in them.
“Hisagi…” she whispered and her eyes hooded in a way he recognized. She moved her face towards him slowly, hesitantly, like the inexperienced woman she was. She came so far, obviously torn between continuing on and running away. Hisagi knew it wasn't wise, but it had been a long and stressful year, he had been relaxed to a level he hadn't been in a long time, and there was a lovely woman in his lap. He moved forward, catching her lips with his own. It wasn't like in the car when Belle had been an animal in heat, but it was powerful nonetheless. Her hands pulling him closer by his uniform as she opened her mouth shyly.
It was an opening he couldn't ignore and his tongue moved to explore her mouth as his hands moved to pull her hips closer. She gasped as his fingers slid over her hip and he smirked at the obvious weak point.
“Shuuhei,” she panted and he grinned into her neck. One hand continued to play over her hip as the other began to slide north towards more…plentiful bounty. He nipped at her throat and she made a whimper, one of her hands moved up, cupping the back of his head and keeping his mouth at her neck.
“Yes?” he questioned as his hand cupped her breast. She gasped arching her back, shoving those lovely breasts into his chest as her other hand gripped his arm, squeezing the muscles, and she began to squirm in his lap in a way he hadn't had a woman do in a long time.
“More!” it was moaned into his ear and he could hardly refuse. His mouth found hers again and she clung to him desperately. He pulled her close and groaned as he thrust up against her. She gasped and her nails grazed him. “Shuuhei…we need to stop.” He nodded as he fought to pull away. The hand on her breast was the hardest part but he managed to pull his hands to his sides, not touching her. Her hands were gripping the back of the bench, her forehead on his shoulder, their only point of contact.
“I'm sorry,” he gasped and Belle laughed, pulling back slightly to look him in the eyes with a smile.
“No need to be sorry, I needed that,” she confessed and he looked at her for a moment. “I've been depressed that I would never be seen for me, so unless you had a deep crush on Eishima, that was for me.”
“No, that was not for Eishima!” Hisagi hissed and Belle laughed as she moved off of him. She smiled.
“Thank you Shuuhei, perhaps…” she paused. “I better not.”
“Better not what?” he asked and she peeked at him over her shoulder.
“Don't you know the fairy tales and movies, Shuuhei?” she asked and he shook his head confused. “The virginal maiden is the one who defeats the horrible monster.”
“Huh?” he managed, very confused and she smiled at him before turning away.
“I'm saying you're tempting me very much,” she confessed before heading inside and he blinked before smiling to himself. He was tempting…that was a pleasant thought.

“Here, Toby.” Tobias looked up from the table where he was making notes. Jim was holding a cup of coffee, which Tobias took gratefully.
“Thank Jim.” Tobias took and sip of his coffee and grinned. “That's not bad.”
“You get good at it after pulling a bunch of all nighters.” Jim responded. He sipped his own coffee before turning his attention to the map spread on the dining room table. “I don't have enough info at this time to come up with anything solid right now. I think we should call Zack and ask him for some info.”
“Tomorrow.” Tobias said, firmly. “Belle and J'dee will have calmed down by then I hope. I'd like you to call though, they won't be angry at you.”
“You fight like this a lot with them?” Jim asked, intrigued. Tobias shook his head, turning his gaze from the map to the other side of the table. He smiled as watched Misato grumbling to herself as she worked.
“No, not really. This happens once in a while. It's been stressful lately, and all this seems to be weighing down on us. Plus we're not hanging out as much as we did before. I mean Belle's busy with the people around her house, J'dee is the same and I've been focused on Shinji. It happens, not because of stuff like this of course, but it does happen to people.” Tobias mused. He turned his attention back to Jim. “How about you? We haven't spent much time together much lately. You guys have been quiet.”
“Work mostly.” Jim replied and chuckled. “When in doubt, we always open a new branch of Starwind and Hawking. I can honestly say though it's been quieter in your world than back home. To be honest I was kind of feeling left out.”
“I'm sorry for that.” Tobias said sincerely. “You guys didn't deserve that, especially after you gave me that picture.”
“Ah, it's alright Toby.” Jim said, turning his attention back to the map. “We're only human. Just don't do it again or Gene may shoot you.”
Tobias laughed.

The cavern was cool and the shadows moved through it quickly to avoid Water as he sat on a throne of ice before his tubes. He was drinking an excellent merlot, savoring the blood red fluid as he watched his hostages float. He twirled the monk through the fluid, making him feel like he was drowning and this time the kindly; father figure was leaving him to drown. Water chuckled, it was almost too easy with the two `sons' he almost felt guilty…almost.
The plant's water he heated up, making it miserably hot and making the plant thrash, so thirsty but submerged in water that did nothing to relieve it. Water laughed as he watched the plant reaching for something he saw in his dream. It was so much fun to make them suffer and to reveal to her when she arrived that he had been mentally torturing them the whole time. He was nearly hard with the thought of her pained expression.
The vampire was currently watching himself render her flesh to shreds and it was easy enough to make the liquid he was in to taste like blood. Her blood and Water laughed as the vampire writhed in horror. It was so much fun to make them hurt and too easy.
The alchemist was watching as his enemies found her, tearing into her flesh and for extra fun he threw in their offspring in. The extra fun was having them scream for him as they were attacked. Water even had some of the more perverse creatures rape them and tell them that he was the reason for their suffering. The alchemist was snarling, his face twitching with rage. Water smirked as he sipped his wine again and waited. Soon Air would strike, soon she would come running to save Air's girl, she would come to save her friend and she would die. It was so delicious Water wished he could bottle the taste of the oncoming victory.

Kari frowned. The damn fool hadn't done anything; he'd actually listened to those miserable bitches!
“Fuck, now what do I do?” she muttered, and lit a cigarette with a snap of her fingers.
“You can let me go home.” Shinji shouted from behind her. Fire winced.
“I wasn't asking you, you little shit!”

Air sat crouched on the rooftop watching Zack help J'dee sit down at the kitchen table before the raven haired SOLDIER brought her some food.
Even from here Air could feel her energy chain on the wind her physical body and her astral body were slowly separating, one more night of torment and then he could swoop in and just grab her. One more night to break the chain, he'd weakened it today, tonight and tomorrow he would break it and then he'd grab her. He was going to be the first to grab his target; he could feel it on the wind.
~*~*~*~
J'dee finished half the meal before pushing it away, her left arm was twitching and shuddering uncontrollably and she would just grab it to stop the tremors.
She saw Kira look at her for a moment.
“I don't know much about Kurosaki's mother.” J'dee looked up at the voice. Renji stood over her. “But I do know he'll be glad to see you. Try to stay alive till then.”
J'dee nodded her head watching Renji head to the balcony before shunpo'ing off to do the rounds.
Grimmjow glanced over, “where is the woman and my meal?”
J'dee sighed. “Kitty she is busy… take this I can't eat it.”
She blinked before she knew it Grimmjow was sitting down opposite her scarfing the rest of her meal and he glanced up at her.
“You're giving me that same look he does.” Grimmjow almost seemed to growl.
“Sorry I think I'm turning in…” She tried to stand up and blinked a he felt her legs give way. Zack caught her and picked her up.
“C'mon lets get you to bed.”
Grimmjow smirked. “Make sure you leave the door open so we can hear.”
J'dee blushed. “God pervert.”
“Ignore him.” Zack remarked carrying her into her bedroom.

“I mean it Reno, get away from me!” Belle growled as she clutched her towel to her tighter. She had made an error trying to run across the hall into the shower while she thought their guests were playing video games. Of course Reno would see her in a towel rushing for the bath.
“Come on, yo, there's enough room to share,” Reno purred as he managed to get close enough to the bathroom door that Belle didn't want to risk losing her towel to him.
“No, there's not, you can barely fit your ego into the apartment,” Belle snapped taking a step back.
“What is this?” a voice called from behind her and Belle wondered how the Hell Grimmjow had gotten into her room when she had only been in the hallway for six seconds and however long Reno was holding her up.
“I'm attempting to take a shower, I'm tired, sweaty, and I need to shave my legs,” she stated. Maybe the thought of prickly women's legs would slow them down.
“I can help with that,” Grimmjow purred. “I know a few good ways to get rid of body hair.” He rubbed his chin sensually and Belle blushed as she glared at the two.
“I'll freeze you into two ugly ass pieces of modern art,” she warned and Reno smirked. It was like two dogs who had caught a kitten between them and were enjoying her pitiful hisses.
“I'd like to see you try,” Grimmjow chuckled and Belle was about to strike when Hisagi and Kira flanked Belle.
“Gentlemen, the lady is trying to take a shower, could you leave her alone,” Hisagi growled and Kira nodded, looking at Reno. Belle blushed, she was wrapped in a towel from armpit to right above her knees, but she still felt painfully naked in front of four men. Before either Reno or Grimmjow could say anything Belle ducked into the bathroom and shut the door, mortified over the whole situation. She would be freezing up walls of ice from the bathroom to the bedroom after this.

“Maybe we should take a break.” Melfina said as she leaned back in her chair and stretched. Her back popped with an audible crack. “We've been at this for hours.”
“That's a good idea, Mel.” Gene said. “Dinner?”
“Take out.” Tobias called from his spot at the table. He didn't even look up as he fished his wallet out and handed it to Misato. She eyed it with a gleam. “I prefer chinese.”
“How about Tai?” Aisha suggested.
“What about him? Or you mean the food!”
“Who the hell is Tai?”

J'dee lay on her side curled into Zack's body, her hand moving up and down his chest as he slept she glanced out the window blinking seeing a shadow move across in the distance and then saw several others following.
“What…” She sat up.
She saw a shadow stop outside her window and it seemed to walk straight through the glass. She felt the glass vibrate for a moment.
“ZACK!” She shook him then stopped looking down at the chain falling out from her chest then up at the shadow slowly forming Air's form.
“Bastard stop this!”
Air walked up to the bed and grabbed the chain yanking her up to him. “I'm sick of playing…” His hand squeezed the chain and J'dee felt her breath catch as she gasped for air. “S-stop…”
She heard a sudden crack and looked seeing a crack in one of the links of the chain.
Air's mouth moved so close to hers.
She felt the lips move over hers and her hands touched his chest pushing him back.
“Air!”
J'dee turned round and she stopped seeing Zack standing up and she blinked confused as he reached for the Buster Sword.
Air grinned before he vanished in a gust of wind.
“J'dee get back to your body…” Zack whispered. “I'll stay up the rest of the night.”
J'dee nodded slowly glancing at the window. “If he's still coming after me in two more days' time… we'll tell Belle…”

Belle was with her Circle, they were a Phoenix, a Dragon, a Wyrm, and a Sea Serpent. She found Fire especially annoying but then his latest mate had been furious with him and had flow off. Fires were fickle creatures and she had to keep from laughing during their meeting. There was a decrease in elements, they were vanishing and the number of mortals was increasing. It was a change that many elementals had noticed and begun to worry over.
Air mentioned the decrease in offspring being born and the possibility of elementals dividing themselves into pieces. It would be a sad world without the elementals coloring the sky. Still, life depended on the changes of life and if the elementals were better off become parts of mortal souls, it might not be a bad thing. Still Earth was furious at the suggestion and he writhed on the ground causing earthquakes.
She struck at Earth, wrapping him in her coils. He tried to bite at her only for her coils to shut his jaws. Air thanked her and Belle nodded before she saw a snow white eagle land. She felt the familiar presence of her Air mate. She lashed pleasantly, disorienting Earth before she took her elemental form and raced across the land. Her Air mate smiled as he opened his arms and Belle leapt into his embrace and they fell to the Earth as they embraced. It was wonderful to feel him and she was quick to begin rubbing against him in a way no male could mistake. As he lowered Belle to the ground there was a beeping noise.
Belle blinked for a second as she woke up and groaned. She slammed her hand on her alarm.
“It's just not fair!” she cried as she buried herself in her covers. She was in an incredibly stressful time, she knew she shouldn't get close to any of the men, and she was having these horrible taunting dreams. She whined as she tried to fall back asleep into the dream she had left.

J'dee sat at the table she could feel the weight of her body as if it was separate… her hands on the table to hold herself up.
“We caught Air in the area last night.” Roy set the cup of hot chocolate down in front of J'dee.
“Is Belle still in bed?” J'dee asked.
“Yeah.” Roy looked at her. “What's going on? Kira didn't show up to the training at all yesterday and he said he spent it talking to you.”
“Air's trying to break my astral form… so every time I separate even when I'm sleeping… he… attacks. I'm okay honestly but I'm loosing sleep.” J'dee offered a smile.
Roy sat down. “You need to mention this to the others… especially Belle.”
“Yeah I will… It's not severed yet, just cracked. Even so, you don't mind if I skip training today? I don't think I'd last very long.”
Roy let out a breath. “We'll leave Kira, Kenpachi and Yachiru behind then with Zack and Armstrong. Just in case. I'll also be upstairs or here.”
“Sure… but just let me tell Belle when I'm ready… I know she's going to flip I didn't tell her sooner.” J'dee sighed. “But I really thought I was dreaming at first….”
Roy sighed. “Okay you have one day…”
Air stood on the balcony in his invisible form and grinned. “One day… that's all I need.”

Belle stood next to the pond, she was blindfolded and held a sword in each hand.
“I'm really not sure about this,” she muttered and Ikkaku laughed.
“We won't hurt you too much,” he chucked and Belle sighed.
“That's not what I was worried about, I'm just not sure I can handle two swords at once,” she said.
“While I don't mind taking you one at a time, I think these assholes are going to send a group to grab you,” Ikkaku snickered and Belle noted the innuendo in that statement.
“You men are such pigs, I also note I'm not in the pond today,” Belle said.
“You're relying far too much on the water, you have no idea how much water is down there,” Yumichika stated and Belle smirked.
“There will be enough, Water won't be someplace without his element,” she stated and she could see through her blood/vapor vision the guys rolling their eyes.
“You stated that Water couldn't control water you were using and that you couldn't control water he was using correct?” Hisagi asked and Belle blushed.
“Good point, I don't know how much water he'll be consciously controlling when we get there,” she sighed. “I accept the training, but I still stand by my bitching.”
“Let's get it on,” Grimmjow chuckled and Belle wished she never let him play her Celebrity Deathmatch game.
“Bring it,” Belle said as she blocked Grimmjow, feeling her arm shake at the effort. “Oh, come on!” She focused and the ground beneath Grimmjow turned to ice and he went down.
“Hey! That's not fair!” he snarled and she pointed her sword at him.
“Hey, I'm going to do what the hell I can when I can!” she snapped before Ikkaku and Yumichika attacked. “Ack!”
“Time for taking on two at a time!” Ikkaku cackled and Belle began to hate training.

J'dee had been in the shower when Belle left. Right now she was looking at her reflection and sighing seeing the bags under her eyes. She pulled the bathrobe round herself tighter and walked into the lounge.
Kira was by the window looking out, Zack at the table with Roy playing cards.
The lounge was drenched in silence and J'dee sighed.
“I'm…” She began, then she felt it the dizzy spell that sent her spiraling forward or was it backwards?
“J'dee!” She heard Zack and she felt herself caught in arms and she blinked she could feel arms under her but the question was why was she looking forward at the ground and not the ceiling.
“J'dee.” She heard Kira's voice and looked up. The blonde was blushing and she looked down seeing the chain and realizing why he was blushing.
She squeaked covering her chest, before looking over her shoulder at Zack holding her unconscious body.
“Oh shit… this isn't good.”
“Your body is at its breaking point.” Roy stood up. “We need to inform Belle.”
“After dinner okay?” J'dee offered as Kira helped her stand up before he pulled off his gi top and wrapping it round her shoulders. “If I can get something stable in me then I should be okay enough to have enough strength to stand up to her giving me a good bollocking.” She laughed nervously. “She's waaaaay too much like Hakkai at times especially when I keep things from her.”
“After dinner, if you don't then I will.” Roy stated.

Hours of fighting the shinigami, Aisha, and Renji had brought Belle to the realization that she would rather fight Water than the nutjobs training her. She lay on the grass beneath a tree panting when a familiar form sat down next to her.
“You're doing very well,” Hisagi stated and she blushed as she opened her eyes to look at him. He was staring away from her, but she could see his eyes twitch every time she moved.
“Thanks, I don't feel like it, you guys can still beat the crap out of me,” she sighed and he smiled before looking at her. Their eyes met and Belle had the strangest sensation of déjà vu.
“As a group, it's hard to beat all of us. Numbers usually win over skill, but one on one, you're a challenge. I doubt Water will control all the water in the cave, but we need to assume it,” he said and Belle nodded as she thought. A smirk grew on her face and she looked at him. “I'm slightly worried.”
“I've got an idea, but I'm going to keep it to myself for a little bit,” she said as she leaned to rest her head on his shoulder. It was a trusting position and Hisagi blushed a little bit. “We'll leave in a minute once I feel back to order.”
“No problem,” he muttered as he looked at the glare he was getting from Grimmjow.

Roy was on the phone to Gene when Belle walked in the door with the rest of the rowdy lot that trailed her.
“I haven't seen those father's round in a while.” Ed commented.
Roy smiled. “They're on a reconnaissance for me on the exterior of the caves for me they should be back by tomorrow.” He turned his attention back to the phone obviously speaking to Gene. “As of tomorrow the map and entrances and everything we need to strike the elements. I'm giving you a heads up… meeting at Belle's tomorrow instead of training. I'll lay the map down then we can work on how we're going to approach this.”
J'dee lay half flopped over the table when Belle stopped by the table looking at her blinking. She turned walking up to Zack who blinked in confusion.
“Belle?” He asked.
J'dee saw Belle slap Zack over the back of the head.
“Hey ow! What was that for?” Zack asked general confusion flashing across his features.
“She needs sleep. I know you horn dogs can go for hours and then get up the motivation of doing it again.” Belle scolded.
Zack blushed as he realized the implications. “Wait! It's not like…” He saw Kira, Roy and J'dee look at him. `Till after dinner time okay I get it you three.' He thought before looking at Belle. “I uh… um… er… sorry…???”
Belle poked Zack in the chest. “You let her sleep tonight, and if I even get the slightest stirring of vapor vision that you're not. I'm going to freeze parts of you so cold, that it's going to take weeks for you to thaw.”
Zack paled at the thought. “Eeep… yes ma'am.”
J'dee looked at Zack, then to Roy and Kira. “I should go to bed now then…” She let out a nervous laugh. “Trust me I'll be so dead even Reno's groping hands wouldn't wake me.”
Reno grinned from where he had made himself at home flopped on the couch. “Ooooh really now yo?”
Belle shot Reno a glare. “You… I'll freeze it right off…”
J'dee went to stand up and Kira moved beside her. “Should we wake you for dinner?” He gave her a look.
J'dee blinked then nodded. “Yeah… Wake me for dinner.”
“No she needs sleep!” Belle's hand settled on her hips.
Kira looked at Roy; Roy glanced at Belle then to J'dee.
“No it's okay I haven't exactly eaten today. So even if it's just a snack or a drink wake me.” J'dee looked at Belle. “I have something I need to tell you but I need sleep first. Forgive me for making you wait.” Kira lead her into her room.
Zack rubbed behind his head and he caught the look Belle gave him. “You are to remain out here while she's sleeping.”
Zack turned and looked at Belle. “Wait but I need to-”
“I'll freeze you to the floor if I have to, puppy is to heel.” Belle pointed at the kitchen table.
Zack let out a groan. “Yes ma'am…” He sighed sitting down and glancing at Roy.

“Really Zack, I mean, I know you're a SOLDIER, but we're just normal humans,” Belle sighed before Reno, the shinigami, Ed, Al, and Hakkai laughed. “Oh…yeah, well we're just, until recently, humans with some elemental powers. We get tired and we need sleep. You need to lay off of J'dee.”
“Literally yo,” Reno snickered and Belle gave him a glare as she began cutting up potatoes for homemade French fries. Roy was on the wireless phone and Belle sighed.
“You better not be making long distance calls!” she cried as she shook her head.
“I really didn't mean it,” Zack said and Belle gave him a look, it was hard to stay mad at such a sweet face.
“Don't give me those puppy-dog eyes. If I can resist kitten eyes from Grimmjow, I can certainly resist puppy-dog eyes from you!” she stated and several shinigami snickered at Grimmjow.
“I don't give you kitten eyes!” he cried and Belle laughed.
“Please I see those soulful looks you give me when I make sandwiches. You know for something that's supposed to be an evil soul, you do soulful eyes really well,” she snapped and Grimmjow looked ready to kill.
“We need her alive…kitten,” Ikkaku snickered and there was a flash of blue before Ikkaku and Grimmjow were both gone out the window.
“Two down,” Belle muttered as she continued to prepare for dinner.
“Two down,” Belle muttered as she continued to prepare for dinner.

“Hi Belle! This is Jim, is Zack there?” Jim asked. He eyed the others. They were all exhausted, catching only a few power naps in between meals for past day. So far nothing had been decided on, and Jim was sure he needed some more info from Zack before they continued to run around in circled like they had been.
“I think so. Hey before I get him, is Toby still there?”
“Yeah he's here, why did you want to talk to him?” Jim asked, tuning to look at said man. Tobias had hardly moved from the dining room table and had stacks of crumpled paper around him. He had finally given into to sleep since they had started and was passed out face first on to the map.
“Nah, just tell him to be at my place tomorrow, would you? Roy said he should have a map of this place where the Elements are hiding out.”
“We'll be there Belle.”
“Thanks Jim. I'll get Zack now.”
“No need! I'll talk to him tomorrow.”
“You sure.”
“Positive.”

J'dee sucked in a breath as she broke the surface of the water she looked round swimming to the edge she stopped seeing the four tanks slammed upright into the ground, she heard the banging and her hand moves to the tank and she looked up at the fifteen year old on the other side of the glass.
“Mom…” His hand touched the glass.
She smiled. “Ichigo… I'm glad you're alright. I was worried.” Her hands moved over the tank trying to find a way to open it up. “Latch… button something…”
“Mom look out! It's him again!”
J'dee jumped and she spun round she was slammed back first into Ichigo's tank. She felt the chain grabbed as he held it up in front of Ichigo.
“Want to know the fun part about this dimension kid? She's not dead… yet.”
J'dee looked to Ichigo seeing his eyes widen. He saw him begin to thrash in the water and she was pulled from the tank with a yank and she hit the sandy beach.
This location was so different from the last one of Air's confrontation. It was almost like a beach resort and she looked up stopping at the sight behind the tanks the building hadn't been there before and she looked behind seeing the lake was now an ocean. It was her third secret astral location.
Her chain in his hand, his other hand shot out to the side and she saw the gust of wind forming his sword, the blade long and black and she let out a cry as he brought it down over the crack in the chain.
“MOM!” She heard the thumping against glass and her hand moved to the other half of the broken chain grabbing on to it letting it pull her away.
“Hang on Ichigo I'll get the others. I'll be back for you!”
“Don't! Just run! Hurry!”
J'dee saw the glimmer of something blue, a pendant drop from the hilt of Air's sword and she let her soul chain retract as she fell back to her body.
Eyes flying open she looked round the room, Kira sat on a chair and she tried to move, the groan that passed from her lips didn't seem to stir him.
“Escape is not that easy when your physical and spiritual selves are separated…”
J'dee turned her head and she saw the shadow slowly start to form.
“K-Kira… wake up.”
Air held the pendant out. “Take two… activate.” He tapped the pendant sending a blinding flash of blue light out from the small stone.

Belle sighed as she set up the tiny grill on the balcony and pulled the plate of burgers close. It was expensive to feed so many moochers and she felt a wash of sympathy for Urahara. She needed a drink and then a hand landed on her shoulder. She looked up at Hisagi and blushed slightly before smiling.
“Can I help you?” he asked and she smiled.
“Yeah if you could make sure the burgers cook, I can fry up the French fries,” she said and he nodded as he took the spatula and squatted in front of the grill. Belle smiled as she entered the living room to see the majority of mooches playing video games. It was rather annoying. Still it was easy enough to get the French fries started. It was even worth the few burns she got when she tried to sneak a peak at Hisagi's butt as he tended the grill while frying.

Kira sat up from his seat with the sound of the wind banging the window and his hand moved to his head.
“Did I fall asleep? Hnnn she's making me tired.” He looked up seeing J'dee lying in bed, her chest rising and falling slowly of its own accord he walked up to the bed and blinked for a moment. He saw the chain lying on the bed the middle of it broken.
“No… what was that?” He spun round. “J'dee…” He opened the door to the balcony then stopped as the wind shoved him right back into the room on his back slamming the door.
Kira moved to the bed shaking J'dee. “C'mon wake up… please be within hearing range… Wake up!” He shook her harder, but there was no response.
Kira grabbed the bottle of water and splashed some over her face, there was no response. He let the bottle of water drop from his hand and it clattered to the floor before the contents spilling out in rhythmic glugs.
Kira turned round and moved to the door to the lounge and he opened it looking up for a moment. Belle was in the kitchen cooking.
“Belle.” Kira began.
Belle glanced over for a moment before Kira dropped to his hands and knees palm to elbow to the ground bowing lowly.
“Kira what-?” Renji began in confusion.
“I'm sorry.” Kira apologized.
Zack stood up and ran into J'dee's room. “J'dee!!!” Roy hot on his tail.
“What? Kira...what are you sorry about?” Belle looked to J'dee's room. “What's wrong with J'dee?”
Kira kept his bow as low as he could get it. “I fell asleep I'm sorry… Air got J'dee's astral form.”
“WHAT?!” Belle raced out of the kitchen into J'dee's room, she stopped seeing J'dee's body lying there and she lifted a hand to summon the moisture particles in the room. But stopped seeing J'dee had already been soaked.
“There's no moisture minus the water bottle Belle… the air was literary sucked out of this room, drying it out.” Zack stated. He picked up the water bottle even though it was open the sides were contracted inwards to show the change in air pressure.
Roy frowned. “He knocked Kira out by stealing the oxygen from the room. Walked right on in, under our noses and just took her.” He shook his head. “Cocky bastard.”

Belle approached the bed; J'dee was laying like Sleeping Beauty under the spell. Like she was in a dream herself, she gripped her friend's shoulder and shook.
“J'dee…it's not funny, knock it off,” Belle ordered as she shook her friend harder. The panic was welling in her throat as she pulled a hand back and slapped her friend. Tears were welling in her eyes. “Wake up damn it!”
“Belle…that's not going to work,” Zack said and he pulled her back. Belle snarled at him and waved her arm. The very blood in Zack's body threw him into the far wall.
“J'dee…J'dee wake up!” Belle cried, but it was clear that through the shaking and the slap, J'dee hadn't even flinched. The scream that Belle released was massive and it did not sound like it came from a human woman. Vapor filled the room, making the air humid and the temperature dropped, filling the room with fog.
“What's going on here?” Hisagi cried as he entered and he stopped as he saw J'dee and then Belle.
“Belle's lost it!” Roy cried as he moved towards Belle only to pause as he saw the ice forming on her body. The tips of her fingers were covered with a growing spike of ice that was slowly turning into a wickedly curved claw. Her eyes were glowing a frigid blue as she screamed again in that monstrous voice.
“Miss Belle! This won't help Miss J'dee!” Hakkai cried from the hallway but it was as if Belle could not hear them. The ice in her hair began to engulf the dark locks in spikes, ripping her hair tie and sending it flying across the room. Her head shook from side to side as the ice covered her shoulders and spine.
“What the fuck?” Ikkaku hissed as he pointed at her feet. Belle's sock clad feet were both covered in ice, actually it was lifting her up off the ground. Her feet pointed down as her knees began to bend. The ice covering her feet extended above the floor several inches, slowly shaping into paws, each toe tipped with a sharp, deadly looking claw.
“She's transforming,” Hakkai whispered as the ice on Belle's spine began to grow into a long tail, ending in an almost fish-like fin. The tail whipped back and forth, growing with each second.
“Into what?” Ikkaku cried as he pointed at the small wings growing from Belle's shoulders. These wings weren't the fluffy wings like J'dee's but armored ice, built more for battle and gliding than achieving flight.
“I don't know,” Hisagi whispered. “We need to stop her.”
“I tried that,” Zack grunted as he stared at Belle. Her spikes were brushing the ceiling as she screamed another bone-chilling roar. Ice was beginning to cover her cheeks and form on her nose, as if still torn on becoming a snout to match the feet, a beak to match the wings, or something worse to match the tail. “We may not be able to stop her. She's completely lost to her water powers.”
At that second Belle's screams went from rage to agony as blue and white lightning passed over her body. Her wings flapped helplessly far too small to do much. Her tail jerked straight out, shaking like her arms were. Then the light stopped and Belle fell to her knees, the ice covering her body shattered like a dream. Her human eyes rolled up into her head and she passed out across J'dee's legs. Reno stood behind her, his EMR on his shoulder as he looked at her.
“She's still just water yo,” he said as he tapped his EMR against his shoulder a few times.
“Good thinking Reno,” Hakkai said as he looked at Belle. Her body was smoking slightly and he touched her neck. “She's alive.”
“It was on the lowest setting yo,” Reno muttered obviously annoyed at the lack of trust. Hisagi picked Belle up and nodded at Reno.
“We may need that again when she wakes up,” he said as he carried Belle to bed. Dinner was going to be a little late now.

“Toby! Toby wake up!”
“Wha-at is it?” Tobias asked, yawning as he sat up from the table where he had been sleeping.
“J'dee's gone!”

Air reappeared in the caves swinging the pendant round then stopped. “Oooh sorry there forgot you get motion sickness.” He laughed entering the chamber seeing Water standing in front of the tanks watching his four.
“How did it go?” Water asked.
Air floated the pendant in front of Water's face. “One down two to go… and this should bring them right to our door.”
Air could see the smirk that crossed Water's lips. “You took your time.”
“Hey spirit chains have to been weakened before they're cut… you got a more larger one of these a chamber like thing… Ichigo is awake I feel like playing… then I'll be out of your hair.”
~*~*~*~
Water laughed, it was a melodious, seductive sound as he nodded to Air.
“Of course, this way,” he said as he led Air to the large cavern behind the storage room. Ideally this is where he wanted to have his ceremony, but it would do for entertaining Air. “The walls are reinforced here, so if he gets…feisty…it won't trigger a cave-in.”
“Excellent,” Air chuckled and Water looked at the bobble.
“How is she feeling?” he asked and Air grinned as he spun the necklace around again and again.
“Dizzy,” he snickered and Water laughed again.
“Excellent, you have fun playing, I believe I will start watching the door,” he smirked.
“You think yours is stupid enough to come here on her own?” Air asked and Water shrugged.
“I can hope she is, can't I?” Water asked before melting into the darkness and moving to the entrance. Soon, so soon he could almost taste her life's blood. Water laughed more, soon he would be whole and she would be a memory.

“Then I could take on Water, and place him under my control. And then Earth would be out numbered.” Fire murmured.
