Digimon 02: Digi-Moon Legacy

 

Recap: Within the aftermath of Davis', Jun's, and Kari's trip into the future, our Digidestined bid a tearful farewell before following their Digimon and the rest of our heroes and heroines back to Lunar. Back at Lunar, Superman requested that some of his friends from the Justice League be brought over to discuss an alliance between his reality and Lunar. Queen Serenity agreed to this while she sent Shingo and Serena to Yunalesca to have their memories from their days in the Moon Kingdom to be `awakened'. On the meanwhile, their arrival doesn't go unnoticed, especially by a member of the Dark Empire and Darkside. Darkside heads off to confront Superman and other heroes and heroines. However, the Dark Empire leader takes a `liking' to the evil and malicious and make sure that he is either successful or able to return, he sends General Wrath, who seems to have a `grudge' against any one that has a connection to the Moon and Sun Kingdoms, the revived Machine Empire and their family, and Trakeena and her evil Stingwingers to aid Darkside and his forces in battle. Back in Vana'diel, Superman and some members of the Justice League, including Wonder Woman and Batman, were in the Vana'diel council to try to convince the members of the council why the Dark Empire has become a problem to all worlds and why an alliance would benefit all of them. However, their `meeting' is cut short when the evil alliance of villains attacks Vana'diel and our heroes and heroines go out to battle them. In a fierce battle that follows, our heroes and heroines, joined by the Astro and Lost Galaxy Power Rangers, battle Darkside, Trakeena, General Wrath, the Machine Empire's evil royal family, and their armies and during the battle, the rest of the Moon Kingdom Sailor Senshi have their Celestial Sailor Senshi and Interdimensional Warrior powers awakened by the Lost Galaxy Power Ranger's Lights of Orion and together, the Moon Kingdom Sailor Senshi sent Trakeena `packing' once and for all. However, in the aftermath of the battle, Tea and Sailor Galaxy are kidnapped by Zorc, stuck in the form of Yami Bakura, and Yami Marik that forces Atem and Davis into a deadly shadow duel that drains their life-energy when their life-points are attacked as well as Tea and Sailor Galaxy are also drained of energy when Yami Marik and Zorc are attack, but when Atem and Davis were terrible danger, Tea frees herself and Sailor Galaxy by transformation into the more mythical Sailor Vortex, one of the very first Sailor Senshi dating back from the days of the Astrals, as well as awakening her Interdimensional Warrior and Celestial Sailor Senshi powers. With Tea/Sailor Vortex and Sailor Galaxy freed, Davis summoned all three Egyptian Gods, sent to the graveyard by Zorc's `dirty tactics', back to the field and combined them to form the mighty Creator of Light, Harakhti, and used her almighty powers to destroy Zorc and Marik's dark side once and for all. In the aftermath, as our heroes and heroines went back into Vana'diel to prepare for future battles, Sailor Pluto senses a familiar `presence', a `presence' that seems to know her and Solar Pluto all to well. Who is this `mysterious figure'? What connection does `he' have to Sailor Pluto and her son? And why does this `figure' make our Time Guardian's heart ache so? Well, we might find out on today's Digi-Moon Legacy next!

 

Chapter 9: The Offensive Begins

 

(Nearly one week after Davis' and Atem's duel; Somewhere inside Vana'diel `castle' *WARNING: X-RATED LEMON COMING UP!*)

 

It has been nearly a week since the battle with Darkside and his `allies' as well as the deadly shadow duel between Davis and Atem versus Zorc and Yami Marik. On the meanwhile, planning for the offensive is near completion by tomorrow or the day after, our heroes and heroines, along with the armies of Vana'diel, will be going on the attack and the next `stage' of this `war' will finally begin. However, this evening, we are inside the bathroom of Trista Meiou AKA Celestial Sailor Pluto, the guardian of the Gates of Time, and the one of the few survivors of the Silver Millennium. The only other known survivor of the Silver Millennium is Celestial Solar Pluto, her son from the Silver Millennium, who's origins from that time are unknown only to her. However, even with based on what Small Lady, who is also a Celestial Sailor Senshi, told us about the changes in the future, I'm still not sure what the revival of the Moon Prince, Sun Princess, and Galaxy Princess and all of these events will have on the future of Earth. If Princess Serenity, Prince Endymon, or both of them die, will Crystal Tokyo be destroyed before it really began, along with Small Lady, or will the Moon Prince or Sun Princess take over since they are related to her by royal blood? There are so many questions and I have so few answers. I'm not sure what to do.” However, while Trista is thinking while taking her shower and is deep in thought, she doesn't notice a figure appearing inside of the shower with her until the last second.

Also joining our heroes and heroines are Superman and his allies within the Justice League and Yugi, Atem, and their friends since Tea is also the Sailor Senshi known as Sailor Vortex and an Interdimensional Warrior.

 

Sailor Venus asks Sailor Sun, in a curious tone, “Jun, are you sure that all this force is necessary?”

 

Sailor Aquarius tells Sailor Venus, “The Dark Empire has millions upon millions of humanoid soldiers that are loyal, brainwashed, or both. And this doesn't count the many demonic and Ogre soldiers that are under their command.”

 

Sailor Leo says, in a plain tone, “In simple term of numbers, we are nothing compared to the Dark Empire. The Vana'diel Army and SeeD forces are only one-quarter of the number of troops compared to the Dark Empire.”

 

Solar Mars states, in a serious tone, “However, the advantage is that majority of their troops have been having it easy for many years with only having to attack Vana'diel and they never prepared defenses, expect for their `vital areas' that are deep within their territory, for any type of attack or counterattack by us. There are plenty of areas that we can attack, take over, and set up defenses as quickly as possible.”

 

Sailor Mars asks her brother, “What are the objectives of this `operation'?”

 

Solar Mars replies, in a serious tone, “There are four vital towns overlooking a huge river that needs to be crossed in order to get to the path to Vana'diel, two on one side and two on the other side. If we capture them, there will be no other way to get to Vana'diel and the river isn't crossable. Creating their own bridge is practically impossible because there is no place to hide it and we can attack their bridge or attack them when they get to the other side. Plus, the towns have facilities that handle food supplies for armies and repairing military equipment as well as mines that contain rare mystical items that can be used as weapons.”

 

Sailor Jupiter asks, in a plain tone, “So, those towns will allow us to hold those positions and be `staging points' for future attacks?”

 

Sailor Sun nods her head and replies, “That's right. But not for a while because when the Dark Empire hears that we made an attack on their territories, they are going to come after us sharks after a piece of meat.”

 

Yolei says, drolly, “Thanks for the description, Jun.”

 

Solar Moon asks Sailor Galaxy, “Kari, are you sure that you are ready for this?”

 

Sailor Galaxy tells Solar Moon, with a smile, “As ready as I will ever be. Don't worry, love, you and the others train me and the others as best as you can and we only had around one week to get read after all.”

 

Solar Moon thinks in his mind, “Yeah, but how that training will `work' in actual combat is what worries me. The guys and me along with Jun and her Sailor Senshi as well as Catherine, Sakura, and Meilin know what to expect here, but everyone else barely has a taste of what real war is all about.”

 

Sailor Aurora asks Sailor Constellation, curiously and a bit worriedly, “Hey, Sakura, can we be sure that they are ready for something like this?”

 

Sailor Constellation tells Sailor Aurora in reply, “I'm not sure, Meilin. We've just got to hope.”

 

Li asks Sailor Constellation, “What are you and Meilin talking about Sakura?”

 

Sailor Constellation tells Li in reply, “Li-chan, I'm worried about Serena and the other new Interdimensional Warriors, Tea, Kari, Sora, Mimi, and the rest of the Moon Kingdom Sailor Senshi. We've only had one week to train them and for another thing, they haven't experienced war-like conditions like we did. They don't know what to expect.”

 

Li tells Sailor Constellation, in his usual tone, “Look, Sakura, I barely know what you have been through since you've been here, but remember, you are the Mistress of the Clow and one of the most powerful sorceresses in history. You've mastered one of the most powerful mystical forces of existence, so, in my mind, you are one of the best people for this `job'.”

 

Sailor Constellation smiles and tells Li, “Thank you, Li-chan. You don't know how much that means to me.”

 

Li tells Sailor Constellation, in his usual tone, “I know. Just don't get too excited about it, okay?” Sailor Constellation giggles in her usual manner and kisses Li on the right cheek, causing him to somewhat flush in embarrassment.

 

On the meanwhile, Atem asks Sailor Vortex, “Tea, are you sure that you are going to be all right with this?”

 

Sailor Vortex tells Atem in reply, “Well, we've been through a lot, weirdo shadow games to save your grandfather and protect the world from Marik's insane dark side, save the two worlds from overgrown snake, and protect the past and the present from an evil god as well as find your memories where the key to defeating this `dark god' is your name. So, this isn't exactly much different through we have to fight a whole nation of evil with evils from all across all realities backing it up with me being only one of the few that can save all of existence.”

 

Joey tells Sailor Vortex, “A lot of pressure on you and the others, isn't it?”

 

Sailor Vortex replies, plainly, “No kidding, Joey.”

 

However, Sailor Pluto hears Chons' voice in her mind say, “I know that you can hear my thoughts in your mind, my darling Trista. I've reestablish the mind-link that we had back in the Silver Millennium and this time, it is so secret that not even the Moon Queen will able to be know that we are linked. Now, are you sure what to do?”

 

Sailor Pluto replies, telepathically, “Yes, I do know what to do. But I'm not sure what I'm doing is the correct way of handling this.”

 

Chons replies, telepathically, “I know that you feel this way because you feel that you are disobeying your princess and your queen, but this is best from them and the future of existence. Do you trust me?”

 

Sailor Pluto is unsure for a moment and she replies, telepathically, “I do trust you, my love. And I will do ask you ask me.”

 

Back to Sailor Sun and Solar Moon, Sailor Sun asks her younger male sibling, “So, how should we divide this army up?”

 

Solar Mercury replies, “It is for the best that we divide the army up evenly. Sailor Sun and the Zodiac Sailor Senshi should take one-half of the soldiers, around six hundred thousand troops, to two of the towns while Solar Moon and we take the other half to the other two towns.”

 

Sailor Aquarius then says, “However, for this to work, we need nearly to complete to complete surprise to conquer the four towns and then we need to work fast to get the towns ready for the counterattack that the Dark Empire will sure bring.”

 

Sailor Ceres says, in a plain tone, “Are we sure that this force isn't `too small' based on the numbers that you told us about?”

 

Sailor Vesta says, in a serious tone, “Well, I don't believe that they have a choice in this situation. I should know. The world that I came from has situations a lot like this one.”

 

Sailor Venus says, with an amazed look on her face, “I can't believe that each one of you actually come from a different reality than ours.”

 

Sailor Athene tells Sailor Venus, “That's right, Sailor Venus. Each one of us was reborn into a different reality if you remember. Ceres comes from a medieval-like universe filled with the super-natural and in actually truth, Sailor Ceres is actually part-vampire.”

 

Joe then says, a bit worried, “That part I'm still freaked out about.”

 

Sailor Scorpio tells Joe, “Calm down, Joe. Remember, I'm part-demon from my mother's heritage in the Vile Tribe.”

 

Sailor Ceres slightly opens her mouth, showing two vampire fangs where her canines are supposed to be, and says, in a plain tone, “And remember, I'm part-vampire, around one-half vampire, not full vampire. Plus, even through I produce the special `pheromones' that sexual `induce' non-vampire humanoids to become really `attracted' with vampires, I can control that `pheromone' because I'm one-half human as well. And at the moment, I'm taking a special potion that controls by bloodlust, so, I don't need to feed on blood.”

 

Sailor Jupiter says, in a plain tone, “I guess the Sailor Senshi takes all types these days.”

 

Sailor Athene says, “We should know since all four of us, Asteroid Senshi, come from four different realities. Sailor Juno comes from the SeeD training facilities in the world that you met Leon and his friends, Sailor Vesta also comes from a realm of super-natural and mysticism, namely the realm of the Spirit Detective and his friends, and finally, I come from the world of Shinobi and Jutsu. Solar Pluto found all of us during his interdimensional travels to find his way back to his home universe, found out about the destruction of the Moon and Sun Kingdoms, awakened the four of us, and we trained to gain our Interdimensional Warrior powers as well as our Celestial Sailor Senshi powers, through it was difficult at times.”

 

Sailor Ceres says, in her plain tone, “That would be my fault since my early bloodlust was a bit uncontrollable since the potion that controls it wasn't developed later. Plus, even through I was half-vampire, one bite on the neck from me and I can `turn' humans into vampires through mainly half-vampires like myself.”

 

Sailor Venus comments, a bit `spooked', “Now, that's a bit scary to hear.”

 

Sailor Ceres says, with a smile and her plain tone, “Don't worry, those days are far behind me.” Sailor Ceres thinks in her mind, a bit worriedly, “Through their memories still come back to haunt me . . .”

 

Just then a female voice calls out, “Lady Serenity! Lady Serenity!” Everyone looks to the source of the voice to see a female Thangaran of late 20s, with light maroon hair that goes down to mid-waist behind her back, light orange eyes, light grey wings, and wearing a police uniform flies down in front of our former queen of the Lunarian Kingdom.

 

Queen Serenity asks the female Thangaran, “Yes, what is it?”

 

The female Thangaran tells Queen Serenity, in a surprised tone, “There a whole army outside of Vana'diel gates and one-half of them are humans and the other half are those mysterious digital creatures known as Digimon.”

 

The majority of the group of heroes and heroines gasp in shock and Sailor Sun asks the female Thangaran, in an amazed tone, “Are you sure?”

 

The female Thangaran tells Sailor Sun, “Yes, Princess and Councilwoman Juniper. They are assembled at the front gate and they wish to see the `Chosen Children of Odaiba' based on their words, especially you and your brother.”

 

Solar Moon tells everyone, “Well, we won't want to disappoint them.” Not needing another word, our heroes and heroines head over to the front gate of the Vana'diel defense walls.

When our heroes and heroines look outside of the forward defense walls of Vana'diel, they are flabbergasted by the sight in front of them. In front of the great Lunar city is exactly one million Digidestined, male and female, dressed in United States military uniforms and carrying military loads with flags representing every single nation in the entire planet Earth where our Moon Kingdom Sailor Senshi and Digidestined live and with these Digidestined are one million Digimon ranging from Rookie level to Ultimate forms.

 

Matt exclaims, shocked, “Whoa! That's a whole army of Digidestined all right!”

 

Sailor Mercury asks Izzy, “How many Digidestined are out there Izzy?”

 

Izzy tells Sailor Mercury, “Based on my last check, there are millions of us around the world, but we are never organization into this kind of large organization.” As our heroes and heroines looked at the huge army of Digidestined before them, Sailor Sun spots a group of one thousand Digidestined wearing white armbands on their left arms with the golden crescent moon sigil in the center.

 

As Sailor Sun immediately walks towards the group, Matt asks her, “Jun, what's the matter?” As everyone focuses their attention on our Sailor Senshi of the Sun, she ignores Matt's question and looks straight at the group.

 

Sailor Sun asks the group, “Why do you guys have that symbol on your bands?” One of the Digidestined step forward, takes off his helmet to reveal a young teenage girl of 18 years of age with light blond wavy hair that nearly extends nearly to the ground, mysterious light pink eyes, and sparkling cheery red lips. Sailor Sun looks at this girl intently and her eyes widen when some memories of the Silver Millennium appear in her mind. Sailor Sun states, “Wait a minute here! I know you!”

 

Sailor Taurus asks Sailor Sun, “You do?”

 

Sailor Sun tells Sailor Taurus, “I'd remember her from my days back in the Silver Millennium. She was one of the top students in the magic classes back on the moon.”

 

Sailor Aquarius exclaims, shocked, “But that's impossible, Jun! The Silver Millennium ended millennia ago!”

 

The young adult female teenager says, in a kind tone, “However, all of the people of the Moon and Sun Kingdom were reborn on Earth at this time period and were scattered all over the globe. I'm one of the Lunarians that was reincarnated on Earth.”

 

All of our Senshi and former Lunarian queen gasp in shock and Sailor Sun states, in a plain and amazed tone, “I knew it! You are Anna, aren't you?!”

 

The young adult female teenager nods her head and replies, “That was my name back on my days as one of the top magician in the Moon Kingdom, but my modern day name is Marina, now.”

 

Sailor Galaxy then points to the group of Digidestined with the white armbands with the golden crescent moon sigil in the center and asks, “So, all of these Digidestined are reincarnated Lunarians for the Silver Millennium?”

 

Marina replies, with a shrug of her shoulders, “More or less. Some were royal magicians while others were part of the elite royal guard that aided the Sailor and Solar Senshi in the protection of the Moon Kingdom royal family namely the queen, the tsuki-no-ouji, and tsuki-no-hime as well as young Prince Senya Serenity.”

 

Sailor Jupiter asks, perplexed, “But what I don't get is how all of you were reawakened at once?”

 

Solar Moon states, in a serious tone, “Well, I have an excellent idea.”

 

Tai nods his head in agreement and says, “Only one person other than you, guys and gals, could revive memories of people's past lives and that person is . . . Gennai.”

 

Gennai's voice then calls out, “I see that my `tactics' are well-known to you, my friends.” Everyone looks to the source of Gennai's voice to find our surviving member of the Order walking towards all of them.

 

Solar Moon asks Gennai, “Hey, Gennai, what is the meaning of all this?” Solar Moon then motions to the entire Digidestined and Digimon partner army assembled before them.

 

Gennai tells Solar Moon, “Do you think that I was standing around idle for the past three years that you and your sister were on Lunar, your majesty? Well, I was not. During the past three years since the first day that you and Jun were on Lunar, I knew that a great battle for all of existence was coming for obvious reason and the Digital and Real Worlds back at our home reality, more so when I found the balance between light and darkness in both the Digital and Real Worlds disrupted through the disruptions aren't `visible' in either world. For the past three years, I assembled an army of the best and brightest Digidestined and their Digimon partners and found out that their connection to the Digital World or some kind of unique heritage have given `special powers' based on the super-natural, mystical, or spiritual. So, I trained them to harness their powers and abilities and during this time, I discovered sometime `unique' about a group of them.”

 

Joe says, “Namely the fact that some of them proved to be the reincarnated people from Serenity's, Davis', Jun's, Serena's, and the Senshi's former `home' from thousands of years ago.”

 

Gennai nods his head and says, “Yes, I did. The Order were well-versed in the ways of the universe and `awakening' memories from a life that's even thousands of years in the universe's ancient past isn't exactly hard for us. And I hold all of the knowledge that Order had before Piedmon destroyed my comrades.”

 

Sailor Sun tells Gennai, a bit annoyed in her tone, “Do you expect all of these Digidestined and their Digimon partners to fight in this war?”

 

Gennai tells Sailor Sun, “Well, young princess, I can assure you that they are. They've trained for three long years and they know what is at stake. Plus, from what I feel, you are going to need all the help that we can get.”

 

Tai exclaims, angrily, “Yeah, but that doesn't mean that you can sacrifice other Digidestined's lives like that!”

 

One Digidestined, a 15 year old high school guy with black hair in messy mop-top and light brown eyes, exclaims, in a serious tone, “Hey! We might not have these `Astral powers' that you guys have, but we are pretty powerful ourselves and we went through training that makes the United States Marines and US Special Forces training look like strolling down through a field of daisies! We trained our hardest and we're prepared to do what it takes to fight and defend our world as well as we hold dear from asses like this `Dark Empire'.”

 

Sailor Taurus yells at all of them, in a serious tone, “Doesn't matter, you know?! You don't know the `Dark Empire' as well as we do and if you are captured by them, you might get killed or worse! And yeah, there are fates worse than death! This isn't any fight that any Digidestined or anyone else has ever fought before and you barely know what you are getting into!”

 

Marina tells Sailor Taurus in reply, “Well, didn't any of you know what you are getting into? However, like or not, all of us aren't going anywhere! We didn't come here just to be sent back home! We're getting into the battle . . . with you leading us or not!”

 

Sailor Sun says, in a serious tone, “Well, you are definitely the reincarnation of Anna. I remember that attitude of yours: You are the only one in both kingdoms to match my brother's and my stubbornness . . . or that's what your father in your past life told me.”

 

Solar Moon states, with a moan, “Just wonderful.”

 

Yolei says, with a groan of annoyance, “Well, that's taking the words out of my mouth.”

 

Sailor Jupiter asks, curiously, “So, what do we do with all of them?”

 

Solar Moon states, in a plain tone, “Personally, I don't well damn like this, but I say, let them fight. They're going to come in, like or not, and I remember Anna's stubbornness quite clearly. Especially in one magic duel that we did back in the Silver Millennium, she kind of left me sore in place that I didn't I could be sore in using just ice spells.”

 

Marina replies, with a sly grin, “And don't you forget it, Moon Prince!”

 

Solar Moon says, in a plain tone, “Wish that I could.”

 

Sailor Ceres says, in a plain tone, “Well, this is an interesting and annoying development.”

 

Sailor Sun tells Gennai, “All right, Gennai, none of us are for this `Digidestined army' coming into the battle, but we will give them a chance for combat. But if any of them want to go home or they don't fight effectively enough, they are going back to our home reality.”

 

Gennai nods his head and says, “That's agreeable terms to me and the rest of us, your majesty.”

 

Solar Moon asks Gennai, a bit annoyed, “Do you have to keep calling us that?”

 

Tai tells Solar Moon, with a sly smile, “Well, that's the price of being royalty, Davis.”

 

Solar Moon replies, drolly, “Thanks a lot, Tai.”

 

Joey asks Tuxedo Mask, “Hey, pal, you are not going to let a group of kids, fight, right?!”

 

All one million Digidestined yell at Joey in unison, “HEY! WHO ARE YOU CALLING KIDS, BUSTER?!!”

 

Joey was nearly surprised off his feet and Tristan tells him, “Dude, I don't think it is a good idea to get them mad at you.”

 

Sailor Vortex tells Joey, “Especially ones with military training and armed to the teeth.”

 

Joey yells at Sailor Vortex and Tristan, annoyed, “Oh, you think?!!”

 

Sailor Moon asks Sailor Sun, “Jun, are you sure about this?”

 

Solar Moon tells Sailor Moon in reply, “Not exactly, but everyone deserves a chance and we don't have much a choice about giving them one.”

 

Sailor Mars gives a sigh and says, solemnly, “Well, more troubles for us to deal with.”

 

Solar Mars tells Sailor Mars, “Took the words right out of my mouth, sis.” As our heroes and heroines look at the two million Digidestined and Digimon along with tons of military equipment, tanks, jeeps, helicopters, and others `pieces' of equipment, they are not sure about this `experiment' that Gennai has `created' . . .

 

(In the late morning hours; within a town some distance from Vana'diel)

 

Inside a town known as Rheon, we find two Elvaans with ghastly white hair and light blue eyes that look in their mid 20s and wearing black armor over dark grey and brown military uniforms with black belts across their waist armor that contains sheaths for black hilted swords and leaning a nearby building are two rifles that look similar to M1 rifles expect they have light grey woods stocks and blackish metal finishes on their metallic parts. The two of them are drinking something similar to coffee from white coffee mugs.

 

One of the Elvaans tells the other, in a dark tone, “Ah, another wonderful day in the Army of the Dark Empire, Aaron?”

 

The Elvaan, known as Aaron, tells his counterpart, in a similar dark tone, “Yes, Deckon. Fine food, the greatest wine, and one woman an hour! Yeah! Our mother told us not to join the Dark Empire and look where she ended up.”

 

Deckon nods his head and replies, “Yeah! May the Sovereigns have mercy on her soul, but the only one to live is the work with the Dark Empire. It's not like Vana'diel or those other two nations are going to help.”

 

Aaron states, in a dark tone and sly grin, “Yeah, they are so stuck up in defending their own countries and territories to ever launch an attack to aid any one of us around here.” However, just then gunfire and cannon fire is being heard from the distance.

 

Deckon asks, perplexed, “What is that?”

 

Aaron sneers and states, annoyed, “Must be some hard-core Dark Empire generals testing their guns on some innocent people for our town or nearby villages. Makes me sick thinking about it.”

 

Deckon tells Aaron, “Well, there is nothing that we can do about it. We've got good lives and I intend to live out my life to fullest. There is no way I'm opposing a power as powerful as the Dark Empire and someone would be crazy to do so.”

 

Aaron then says, “But those gun shots and cannon fire are close. I can't help to wonder if they aren't ours.”

 

Deckon tells Aaron, reassuringly, “They've got to be ours or they would be hitting us right now.” Just then, as if on cue, several explosion hit around the two soldiers causing one building to collapse.

 

Aaron shouts out, “What in the name of Lunar is going on here?!” Just then more explosions hit around them and the two of them look up to see armed hovercraft transports all over the town and into the `community' across the river.

 

Just then a dark voice shouts out at the two soldiers, “What do you two think that you are doing?!” When Deckon and Aaron look towards the source of the voice, they huge several Ogres staring down on them.

 

One of the Ogres shouts at them, “You fools! We are being attacked for the Vana'diel Army and the SeeD forces! They've already taken many of our forward positions and will be moving on the towns!”

 

Deckon exclaims, in disbelief, “You can't be serious!”

 

Just then a familiar female voice calls out, “Oh, he's serious all right!” As the three Ogres look into the air, a whole rainstorm of blue spirit energy rains down upon the three Ogres, cutting them to pieces, and all three of their corpses fall down to the ground, their green blood oozing across the ground. Deckon and Aaron look to where the attack came from to see Celestial Sailor Galaxy floating above them.

 

Aaron and Deckon prepare to reach for their rifles and Aaron yells out, demandingly, “Who are you?!”

 

Just then a familiar male voice replies, “My girlfriend.” Just then Deckon has a sword to his neck while Aaron has a pair of silver claws to his neck. Sailor Galaxy floats down to the ground to see Celestial Solar Moon and Cyberdramon have Deckon and Aaron trapped with their blades to their necks.

 

Sailor Galaxy tells Solar Moon, “Nice job, sweetie.”

 

Solar Moon replies, lovingly, “You, too. Your usage in spirit energy has gotten a lot better.”

 

Sailor Galaxy smiles and tells Solar Moon, “Thanks.”

 

Aaron says, pretty surprised, “You . . . You're the legendary prince of Vana'diel and son of the leader of the Vana'diel council, Lady Serenity.”

 

Solar Moon tells Aaron, “No kidding, buster. And unless you want get a nasty crew cut from the neck up, I suggest that you raise your hands into the air and surrender.” Both Elvaan siblings don't need to be told twice since the raise their hands into the air, allowing Sailor Galaxy to take their weapons, and destroy them.

 

Deckon says, “Being in the Dark Empire allows us to survive and give us good `benefits', but we're not going to die for them.”

 

Cyberdramon states, in a plain tone, “Good answer.” On the meanwhile, what the group doesn't know is that a 30 year old male Hume sniper in a Dark Empire military uniform and armor is perched on a nearby rooftop and aiming his scoped rifle down at the two Senshi and Solar Moon's Digimon partner.

 

The sniper think in his mind, “Sorry, I don't want to fire on a girl, but you are one of our enemies and I don't dare to disobey my orders. Goodbye.”

 

“Celestial Arrow!”

 

Just then the sniper yells out in pain as a pure white arrow of light slams into him, destroying his rifle, and knocking him to the other side off, but thanks to his armor, he is badly injured and not killed. When Solar Moon, Sailor Galaxy, and Cyberdramon look towards what happened, they see Angewomon, Sailor Galaxy's Digimon partner, floating near the rooftop where the sniper was positioned.

 

Sailor Galaxy tells Angewomon, “Thanks a lot, Angewomon.”

 

Angewomon replies, as well as nodding her head, “Anytime, Kari.”

 

Soon after, Celestial Sailor Moon and Celestial Sailor Mini-Moon fly down in front of them and Sailor Galaxy asks her, “Hey, Sailor Moon! Is there anything wrong?”

 

Celestial Sailor Moon shakes her head and replies, “No, I'm here to give you and my bro some good news. Sailor Sun and her forces have captured the first town and is already moving on to the second. There is some pockets of resistance, but they will be taken out shortly.”

 

Solar Moon states, happily, “All right! That's great news!”

 

Celestial Sailor Mini-Moon tells Solar Moon, “But that's not all, Uncle Daisuke! Some of those Digidestined troops and their Digimon partner captured a well-defended position and all two thousand five hundred soldiers without losing one soldier, human or Digimon!”

 

Sailor Mercury lands down in front of all of them and tells Solar Moon, in her logical tone, “They used a strategy that was quite flawless in my opinion. You can ask Solar Mercury since he and I saw the whole battle.”

 

Solar Moon states, in a plain tone, “Okay, I'll admit that they can fight pretty well in a real war like situation, but they won so flawlessly is also because we had total surprise. When their top commander, who I know so well, finds out about this, he will bring the full weight of the Dark Empire's army down on us.”

 

Sailor Galaxy asks Solar Moon, “Who is this commander, Dai-chan?”

 

Solar Moon tells Sailor Galaxy in reply, “One of the worst living beings ever to be born in the whole of existence, Kari. He knows every single military strategy ever known in the whole of existence and is ruthless, sadistic, and just pure evil. All of us have met him just once and even through all of us met him separately, we can tell you the same story. Sailor Galaxy says, in a plain tone, “That's a good thought.”

 

Solar Moon states, in a serious tone, “That's why we've got to get this party moving as fast as possible. We've got to get ready to defend ourselves.” Solar Moon tells Cyberdramon, “Cyberdramon, get to the forward commanders on the other side of the river and tells them to capture the town as quickly as possible.”

 

Cyberdramon nods his head and replies, “You've got it, partner!” Cyberdramon flies off into the distance and Solar Moon looks high into the air with a worried look on his face.

 

Sailor Mini-Moon asks in her mind, “What's wrong with Uncle Daisuke? Mom, dad, Uncle Daisuke, Aunt Juniper, and Aunt Hikari told me as much as she could about the second `Interdimensional Wars' and enough of the past without endangering the course of events that lead to our future on the planet Earth of our reality, but something tells me that they didn't tell me some things because they didn't want me to tell . . . or couldn't tell because the event or person is so terrible . . .”

 

(During the early evening hours; Somewhere within the boundaries of the Dark Empire)

 

Somewhere inside of the Dark Empire and its territories, captured or otherwise, we find ourselves with a well-furbished room with black stone walls, medieval-type shields and swords on the walls, no windows in the storm, and the room has only enough light to allow people to see everything within the room. Much of the room is like an Middle East Harem with finely made `decorated rugs' covering the floor, pillows of all types, shapes, and sizes are in the room, and the pillows surround a large fabulous couch that can fit over one dozen people in front of a small table. And behind the large well-made couch is a king-sized bed that's big enough for six people. Laying and/or sitting down on the pillows are nearly fifty scantly-clad humanoid females, Humes, Elvaans, Mithras, and Thangarans, with voluptuous breasts and sexy and seductive bodies, in which they are wearing ruby red throngs and bikini-like tops on their chests, breasts, and groin areas with see-through Arabian silk stockings over their legs, and ruby red Arabian female shoes. Twenty-five more humanoid females, Humes, Elvaans, and Mithras, are dancing in front of the large bed and are dressed the same way, expect they aren't wearing the bikini-tops at all. Their voluptuous breasts are exposed and they bob up and down as they dance in a form similar to Egyptian belly dancers, expect that the dancers' dancing is a lot more sexually suggestive. On top of the bed is a male figure `covered' by the shadows with three nude Mithra females of late teenage years, around 16 to 17 years of age, all of whom are lying down on the bed in various poses, covered in sweat, breathing heavily, and their pussy and clits are wet and throbbing, which shows that the three Mithra were engaged in recent `erotic' activities.

 

The male figure says, in the voice of the dark figure that recently talked with Darkside about one week ago, “Ah, it is nice to end the day by having some `fun' with a couple of your slaves. It seems like my enemies are just going to wait for another attack by our forces.”

 

However, a male voice calls out, “My lord! My lord!” The dark male figure on the bed looks up along with the female slaves on the pillows and the dancing female slaves stop dancing to see a young male Mithra soldier of 20 years of age with black hair and light red eyes run into the room.

 

The dark male figure declares, in an annoyed tone, “Why do you dare disturb me in my Harem?”

 

The young Mithra soldier shutters in fear of the dark male figure and says, fearfully, “F-Forgive me . . . my lord . . . I have come with important news . . . It seems that the four important towns across the Ives river has been . . . attacked by Vana'diel Army and SeeD forces.”

 

The dark male figure shouts out, in a dark shocked and angered tone, “WHAT?!!” His tone is so loud that it could wake even the dead and the three naked Mithra girls on his bed wake up from their `sleep'.

 

The young Mithra soldier says, fearfully, “It's t-true, my lord . . . We've just a report from the front . . . that Vana'diel and SeeD forces have attacked our four vital towns on the Ives river . . .” The youth Mithra soldier takes out several papers and the dark male figure uses telekinetic powers to bring those papers into his hands. The dark male figure looks over the papers for several minutes and with sadistic chuckle, crumples the papers into a paper ball, which is set on fire, and turned the crumpled papers into nothing, but ash.

 

The dark male figure says, dark excited tone, “Well . . . Well, those fools finally have the courage to fight outside the safety of Vana'diel's walls.”

 

The young Mithra soldier asks, fearfully, “You are not worried . . . my lord. They are . . . in the four towns that we need to attack Vana'diel . . .”

 

The dark male figure tells the young Mithra soldier, “Oh, you worry too much, soldier. Assemble all of the soldiers in the surrounding areas and prepare for a counterattack as soon as possible. A mere one million soldiers or so won't stand up to our forces, even at this time. Now, leave me.”

 

The young Mithra soldier replies, “Yes . . . Yes, my lord . . .” The young Mithra soldier then rushes out of the dark male figure's `Harem' to carry out his orders.

 

The dark male figure thinks in his mind, “So, you've finally come out to fight! You were better off staying to defend your mother and Vana'diel, Prince Daisuke and Princess Juniper. This shall be your first and last mistake and I shall be glad to send your corpses back to your mother and she will wail and scream in despair.” The dark male figure tells the topless dancers, “Continue!” The topless dancers continue their highly sexually suggestive dancing in front of the dark male figure, much to his sadistic pleasure and excitement.

 

(Four days later; In the skies near the Ives river)

 

In the early morning skies over the Ives river, we find Celestial Sailor Venus, Celestial Solar Venus, Celestial Sailor Ceres, and Celestial Sailor Leo flying through the nearly crystal clear skies and looking over the nearby territories to see if they can find any troop movements. It has been four days since the attack on the four vital towns on the Ives river and there has been `no action'. The surprise attack around four days went off without a single problem with nearly all of the soldiers killed or captured, wounded or not, and the Vana'diel and SeeD forces only suffered 20 wounded with no killed with the Digidestined forces having only 10 of them having minor injures and they already back to full health and ready to fight. The nearly perfect success boosted the confidence of the Vana'diel and SeeD forces to levels that they never experienced for a long time, but they knew that they shouldn't be celebrating. Their forces continued to prepare their defenses for the inevitable counterattack by the armies of the Dark Empire. The forces defending the town were joined by one-fifth of the two million Digidestined and Digimon: 400,000 Digidestined and Digimon with one-half of them in two of the towns and the other half on the other two towns. The rest of the Digidestined army and their Digimon partners are in the `rear areas' as `reserves', but they know that their comrades are being tested. On that fact, Marina and the reincarnated Lunarians among the Digidestined army were in the `front lines' within the town of Rheon to prepare for a battle in case the town across the Ives river is captured. On the meanwhile, we find the four Celestial Senshi flying through the air on a scouting mission to see if they can get some `advanced warning' on a counterattack by the forces of the Dark Empire.

 

Sailor Venus says, “It has been four days and we haven't heard a `peep' for them. You think that they would have been here by now.”

 

Sailor Leo tells Sailor Venus, in a serious tone, “Don't be so confident, Venus. You don't know the armies of the Dark Empire like we do. They'll be here. Count on it.”

 

Solar Venus tells Sailor Venus, “Take her advice, sis. The Dark Empire isn't the kind of people to be underestimated.”

 

Sailor Leo says, in a plain tone, “He should know. He did that once and it nearly bit him in the ass.”

 

Solar Venus says to Sailor Leo, embarrassed tone in his voice, “Hey! It wasn't my fault that they would be extremely bold to pull off that stunt!”

 

Sailor Venus asks Sailor Ceres, “You know, Ceres, since you are a half-vampire and can `turn' others into half-vampires or full vampires, does that mean that they are your vampire servants or something?”

 

Sailor Ceres says, in her usual plain tone, “The myth about vampires drinking your blood and then you transform into that vampire's servant is an old wives tale. Once you become a vampire, you are more like a demon version of yourselves: Dark, uninhibited, and not exactly friendly when it comes your `feeding time'. However, you don't turn into the servant of the vampire that `sired' you. But many times, the humanoids that were transformed into vampires usually become the loyal soldiers, followers, or both soldiers and followers of the vampire that sired it, if that vampire is part of the `higher classes' of Vampiric leadership, which is why that myth formed in the first place. However, the `new vampires' retain their independent thinking, through it is a lot darker and even sadistic.”

 

Sailor Leo then asks Sailor Ceres, “By the way, how can you become a half-vampire? And how did you become a half-vampire in the first place?”

 

Sailor Ceres replies, in her plain tone, “There are certain ways that you can be a half-vampire. One, which is quite common, your human mother was bitten why pregnant with you and she gave birth to you before she transformed. In this case, the `vampire virus' that `infected' your mother was transferred to you while still in your mother's womb, but when you were both, the transformation only happened half-way and you are stuck that way because your vampire DNA is fused with your human DNA since you were technically born with vampirism, through not complete vampirism. Two, which is quite rare, you were bitten by a vampire, but by some twist of fate or just plain luck, you didn't turn all the way and your transformation got permanent stuck at the half-way point. But when you are usually bitten by a vampire, you turn all the way. However, there are instants when this has happened because some kind of great power that's stronger than vampirism protected you. Third, also another common way, is that you were born of a one vampire parent and one human parent, usually a vampire father and a human mother. Remember, when two humanoids conceive a child, half of your DNA comes from one parent and the other half from the other parent. When a human and vampire conceive a child, half of his or her DNA comes from the human parent and the other half comes from the vampire parent and thus, creating a half-human and half-vampire child. And that third way is how I came into being . . . for the second time, of course.”

 

Sailor Venus asks, curiously, “What happened to your parents?”

 

Sailor Ceres says, in a plain tone, “After my mother, my human parent, gave birth to me, my father, the vampire parent, seduced her to become one of them. They would have brought me into their fold if my mother made sure that I didn't share in her fate. When I was old enough to understand, I never forgave my father for what he did. I knew what I was . . . Neither human or vampire. I became a vampire hunter-slayer, but I knew that my `demon blood', what I called my vampirism, would force me to drink human blood to survive. As a half-vampire, I didn't need to drink blood as often or as much as a full vampire, but I still need to. The vampire hunter-slayers knew about this and also discovered a terrible fact. Usually, with half-vampires, when they take blood from a full human, they just drain them of blood since they didn't have the ability to spread vampirism like full vampires do. Unfortunately, I had that capability through some kind of `quark' in my DNA for some reason or another, but I only discovered that later in life when I joined the Asteroid Sailor Senshi. At that time, the vampire hunter-slayers and I didn't know what to think. All of us knew that I was a `half-breed', vampire term for one that's only half-vampire, so, how can I infect others with vampirism? However, people in my reality and my Earth didn't know how to create the serum that I use to keep my vampirism at bay, so, I drank blood from rapists, murderers, and other people that did the most terrible crimes. However, since I knew that I put the `vampire virus' into them, I had to immediately slay them after I drank.”

 

Solar Venus says, shocked, “Geez! That's one harsh life! I don't get how you get use to that!”

 

Sailor Ceres says, in a plain tone, “You get kind of use to it. That's why I adopt such a `dark look' with my clothing and tone. However, when Chrono arrived and I found out that I was one of the Asteroid Sailor Senshi, I wasn't sure what to think. How can I, a half-vampire, be one of the defenders of existence? When Chrono told me of my heritage as one of the Princesses of Saturn and my powers as Sailor Ceres, I figured that my life back in Silver Millennium wasn't too much different from my life, now. I mean I came from a kingdom that the holder of the powers of darkness, destruction, death, and rebirth and people were scared of the Saturn royal family members, especially the ones that became Solar and Sailor Saturn, so, I figured: Why not? So, I joined up with Chrono and the other Asteroid Sailor Senshi, but I had soon found life got a bit better for me. I've got to say that I've seen the brighter portions of life a bit better.”

 

Sailor Venus says, in her usual excited tone, “Yeah, Ceres, you can't stay dark and gloomy forever!”

 

Sailor Leo then looks ahead of her, her eyes widen, she points ahead, and Sailor Leo states, “Hey, take a look ahead of us.” Solar and Sailor Venus along with Sailor Ceres looks where Sailor Leo is pointing at and they see a huge force of Ogres and humanoids, ranging from Humes to Thangarans, in Dark Empire type uniforms and battle armor marching down towards the towns. Sailor Leo activates a visor across her eyes and nose which is very similar to Sailor Mercury's scanner and scans as well as observes the force ahead of them. Sailor Leo tells the others, “I can see around one to one and one half million soldiers heading towards our positions.”

 

Solar Venus activates the communication device inside of his Senshi morpher and says, “Hey, Davis, we have a large force of Dark Empire soldiers heading our way. Around one to one and one half million of them. Look, they might be here today or tomorrow.”

 

Davis' voice replies from the communication device in Solar Venus' Senshi morpher, “Great work. Now, get the hell out of there and return to base.”

 

Solar Venus replies through his communication device, “You don't need to tell us twice.”

 

When Solar Venus turns off his communication device, Sailor Leo says, “He's right. Let's get back to the others.” Without another word needed to be said, Solar Venus, Sailor Venus, Sailor Ceres, and Sailor Leo fly back to bases for our heroes and heroines as well as their armies.

 

(Within the town of Rhodes; Sometime later)

 

Inside the town of Rhodes, we find Solar Moon and the Solar Senshi, Sailor Moon and the Moon Kingdom Sailor Senshi, Sailor Galaxy and the other younger Digidestined, Ken, TK, Yolei, Cody, the six Digimon partners, Veemon, Gatomon, Wormmon, Patamon, Hawkmon, and Armadillomon, and Tuxedo Mask within some kind of military command center set up inside of the mayor's mansion in the heart of the town. Along with them are the top SeeD and Vana'diel army commanders within the towns that they are defending against the Dark Empire's counterattack. Surrounding a huge table, there is a holographic projector projecting a holographic map of the area of the Ives River and the four towns with the Dark Empire's troop movements.

 

Sailor Mars asks, “So, this is the counterattack that we've been waiting for?”

 

Solar Mars comments, “Took them a while.”

 

Sailor Mercury says, “Based on the knowledge that Senshi already battling in Lunar knew, the Dark Empire has always been attacking Vana'diel itself and never expected any `attacks' into their territory.”

 

Solar Jupiter states, “Most likely, they are expecting a clean sweep of our forces.”

 

Sailor Pluto says, in her usual tone, “Well, at this time, based on what Solar and Sailor Venus, Sailor Leo, and Sailor Ceres have told us, the numbers of the Dark Empire soldiers number around one to one and one-half million soldiers.”

 

Sailor Mars says, “That's nearly as much as we got on the line . . . counting the Digidestined and Digimon forces that we've allowed to join us.”

 

Sailor Jupiter asks, in a curious tone, “Do you think that they don't know how many troops that we've got stationed in these towns?”

 

Solar Mercury says, in a logical tone, “That's one possibility. Their captured territories have never been attacked, so, they might be overestimating their abilities and underestimating ours, which could be the same explanation for the other possibility. That they do know our numbers, but they don't care since they think we are not going to hold the towns or we are going to be easily overrun by fear.”

 

Solar Mars states, in a serious tone, “Well, let's just say that they are going to get a big surprise this time.”

 

Sailor Moon tells Sailor Mini-Moon, “Mini-Moon, I need you to stay with the reincarnated Lunarians of the Digidestined when the fighting starts.”

 

Sailor Mini-Moon exclaims, in disbelief, “What?! Sailor Moon, I'm a Celestial Sailor Senshi just like you!”

 

Solar Moon tells Sailor Mini-Moon, “Hey, Mini-Moon, listen to your mom for once! This is war and war isn't for little kids.”

 

Sailor Mini-Moon says, in protest, “Aunt Hikari went to war when she was a little kid.”

 

Sailor Galaxy yells out, in a surprising serious tone, “That was totally different, Rini! I know what destruction and death is really like ever since I was just four years old! My first `kill' wasn't when I battled Myotismon, it was when Greymon came to the Real World back in Highton View Terrace and fought Parrotmon. I saw destruction, conflict, and death for the first time when I gave Greymon the power to kill Parrotmon. I lost my emotional and mental innocence on that day and I have never been innocent since. Now, is that what you want on your mind for the rest of your life, Rini?”

 

Tuxedo Mask, the Moon Kingdom Sailor Senshi, the Solar Senshi, and even all of other younger Digidestined are surprised by Sailor Galaxy's statement, Sailor Mercury says, “Oh my. That is a horrible thing to have on your mind for the rest of your life.”

 

Sailor Mini-Moon tells Sailor Galaxy, “Well, what do you think happened what the Black Moon family attacked my home in Crystal Tokyo? Seeing your home nearly destroyed, innocent people in your kingdom suffer, and your mommy sealed away in some kind of crystal coffin in a possible near eternal sleep?”

 

Sailor Moon tells Sailor Mini-Moon, in a serious tone not seen in her before, “Better than having your mother and father in your second life murdered right before your eyes.” Sailor Mini-Moon holds her head down, remember what happened just days before back in their reality and in Tokyo.

 

Sailor Mini-Moon says, “I guess that's why you wanted Uncle Shingo to stay back with the Digidestined and their Digimon in the `reserves area'. All right, I will `wait in the rear'.”

 

Tuxedo Mask tells Sailor Mini-Moon, “Thank you, Mini-Moon.”

 

Solar Moon then states, in a serious tone, “Okay, with that done and over, all of us can come up with a strategy to fight and defeat the armies that the Dark Empire sent against us.”

 

Sailor Mercury says, in her logical tone, “Based on what we know, it is most likely they will split their forces to take on the both of us. The usual `divide and conquer strategy'. Villains seem to use that strategy more effectively than we usually do.”

 

Solar Mercury states, in his logical tone, “But we have to consider that they will concentrate their forces against one set of targets and the move on to the other and ever worse, if they do that, they could turn the flank of the other force.”

 

Sailor Mars says, “However, our best bet is to dig in for now and hold out as long as possible if that happens.”

 

Sailor Jupiter tells Sailor Mars, “Hopefully, that won't happen.”

 

Solar Moon states, “All right. I tell sis to get ready for some uninvited guests by tomorrow.”

 

Sailor Galaxy tells Solar Moon, “I'll go with you.”

 

Veemon says, “Count us in.” Gatomon nods her head in agreement and Veemon, Sailor Galaxy, and Gatomon followed Solar Moon to where they can communicate with Sailor Sun, the Zodiac Sailor Senshi, the Asteroid Sailor Senshi, Sailor Vortex, Sailor Constellation, Sailor Aurora, and the elder Digidestined and their Digimon partners are.

 

(Late the next morning; Joining our Sailor Senshi of the Sun)

 

Inside a huge trench in front of a town north of Rhodes, which is on the eastern side of the Ives River, known as Aswan, which is on the western side of the river, we find our Celestial Sailor Senshi of Sun walking down the line with Celestial Sailor Constellation and Renamon following her. On the meanwhile, SeeD and Vana'diel army forces are in the trenches with her. Preparing their magic spells and their weapons for battle, knowing that they could be attacked at any second by the armies of the Dark Empire and not knowing what they are preparing to do.

 

Sailor Constellation tells Sailor Sun, “Everyone seems to be on edge, but it is no surprise why.”

 

Sailor Sun tells Sailor Constellation, “Yeah, the Dark Empire has some fierce soldiers and their constant attacks will do that to them.”

 

Sailor Constellation asks, curiously, “Do you think that they will attack today?”

 

Renamon says, in her plain tone, “It is most likely. The Dark Empire won't allow us to hold these towns for too long. They are the strategic positions that allow them to easily enter the borders of Vana'diel. And without these towns, Vana'diel can't be directly attacked anymore. Plus, these towns will allow us to move into the territories held by the Dark Empire.”

 

Sailor Constellation asks Sailor Sun, “How long do think that this war will last?”

 

Renamon tells Sailor Constellation, “We can't be sure, Sakura. The war has already lasted for many upon many years already and even through we might manage to take back capture territory, it will take quite a long time to get to the heart of the Dark Empire's territory. For now, all we need to do is hold these four towns from the Dark Empire whenever they are about to counterattack.” Just then five explosions, three from artillery fire, one from a powerful Flare black magic attack, and the last one from a powerful Firaga black magic attack, hit around the trench that they were in.

 

Sailor Sun exclaims, “Well, that's a sign if I ever saw one!” Just then continuous explosions from artillery fire and magic spells rain down all around them and the soldiers duck down into the trench and put their hands over their heads.

 

Sailor Aurora quickly runs through the line and shouts out, in a serious tone, “That's not going to help! Get your hands off your head and get them on your weapons!”

 

Sailor Sun shouts out, in a commanding tone, “Keep your heads down! Keep them down!”

 

Sailor Constellation tells Sailor Sun, “I'll run to try to find Sailor Aquarius and get in contact with Davis' forces in Rhodes and Kanesh!”

 

Sailor Sun shouts out, as the explosions continue, “Go!” Sailor Constellation runs down the trench as the explosions from artillery and magic-based attacks continue to rain down upon them. Sailor Sun calls out, “I need a report! Where are the commanders when I need them?!”

 

A SeeD officer, a 34 year old male Elvaan, runs up to Sailor Sun and tells her, as the bombardment continues, “We've managed to get a sighting of them. It looks like half of their forces are attacking us, so, the other half must be attacking your brother and younger sister at Rhodes and Kanesh!”

 

Sailor Sun tells the SeeD officer, “We can't be sure about that! So, prepare to defend against a full-scale assault with every thing that the Dark Empire has thrown against us!”

 

The SeeD officer nods his head and replies, giving a salute with his right hand and arm, “Yes, ma'am!” However, a powerful explosion from a Thundaga attack causes a shockwave that knocks both of them to the ground hard. The two of them lie down on the ground, stunned, for a few minutes before both of them go into a sitting position and shake their heads.

 

Sailor Sun asks the SeeD officer, “Are you okay?” However, the impact and shockwave was so powerful, that the SeeD officer can't hear our Sailor Senshi of Sun since his hear was temporary impaired, in which he can only hear a ringing in his ears, but the SeeD officer is an expert at reading the lips of people when they speak, so, when he figures out his hearing is temporary impaired, he reads Sailor Sun's lips. Sailor Sun asks the SeeD officer, “What's the matter? Are you all right?”

 

The SeeD officer replies, in a plain tone, “That blast impaired my hearing for the moment, but I can tell what you are saying by reading your lips! I'll get to work on your orders!”

 

Sailor Sun asks the SeeD officer, “Are you sure?”

 

The SeeD officer nods his head and replies, “I'll be just fine, ma'am!” Sailor Sun motions for him to leave and he immediately does so, in which Sailor Aurora arrives on the scene.

 

Sailor Aurora asks Sailor Sun, “I saw the explosion! Are you injured, Jun?!”

 

Sailor Sun replies, “Don't worry, Meilin. I just got the wind knocked out of me, that's all!”

 

Sailor Aurora tells Sailor Sun, “I wonder if Davis and the others at Rhodes and Kanesh are having as much trouble!” Four more explosions hit around the two Celestial Sailor Scouts and they duck and cover to make sure that they don't get hit by the shockwaves.

 

Sailor Sun states, in a plain and serious tone, “Knowing our type of luck, my brother might have worse than we do . . . and that's what worries me.” As Sailor Sun and Sailor Aurora continue to move down the trench line to try to keep soldiers from `freaking out' and aid any of the soldiers that are injured.

 

(Within the town of Kanesh; A short time soon after)

 

Unfortunately, Sailor Sun was right about the remark that the forces under the command of Solar Moon and right now, we find falling back into the center of town and fighting was nearly hand to hand, point blank gunshots, and also point blank magic attacks. The forces under Solar Moon and the Solar Senshi were already pushed back from the edge of town into the center of town. Now, we find Celestial Sailor Jupiter battling against a whole battalion of vicious Ogres and she is using some lightning blasts from her hands to try to hold them back, but it seems that more Sailor Jupiter tries to blast them back, the more the Ogres seems to come closer.

 

One of the Ogres shouts out, in a nasty tone, “You're not going to stop us, Sailor Wrench! You will die in the name of the Dark Empire!”

 

Sailor Jupiter cries out, in her serious tone, “I don't think so, you butt ugly creeps!”

 

“Jupiter Tetra Force Lightning!”

 

Sailor Jupiter then has electrical energy engulfing her own body that turns into a sphere of electrical energy in front of her and the sphere of electrical energy launches with a loud cannon-like `boom' at the battalion of Ogres. The attack slams into the Ogres with terrific force and they scream out in extreme pain and agony as nearly one million volts of electric power course through them. Soon after, a huge explosion engulfs the battalion of Ogres that causes all of the windows in every single building in the whole of the town. After the explosion dies down, smoke and dust cover the position that Sailor Jupiter `zapped' the Ogres with no single one in sight.

 

Sailor Jupiter exclaims, excitedly, “All right! I'm even more powerful than I thought! That's butt ugly freaks are so gone!” However, two Ogres, badly damaged armor and burned skin, rush out of the smoke and dust and tackle Sailor Jupiter to the ground. Sailor Jupiter yells out, seriously, “Hey! Get off me!”

 

One of the Ogre raise a battle axe into the air and he shouts out, “You will pay for your resistance, human!” Sailor Jupiter tries to get the two Ogres off him, but the sudden surprise of their attack and their super-human strength manage to keep Sailor Jupiter. But as the Ogre prepares to kill Sailor Jupiter, their heads are chopped clean off and both of their heads rolled to both sides of the Sailor Jupiter before their bodies fall backwards and slam into the ground with loud thud, pooling pitch black blood from their severed heads and necks. Soon after, Sailor Jupiter finds her Solar Senshi counterpart standing in front of her. Solar Jupiter helps Sailor Jupiter to her feet and Sailor Jupiter brushes herself off.

 

Solar Jupiter tells Sailor Jupiter, “Those Ogres are a real pain! No matter how much we take them down, they keep getting back up or two more replace the one that we knock out!”

 

Sailor Jupiter tells Solar Jupiter, “You aren't kidding, bro!” Just the four more explosions caused by four powerful black magic attacks hit around them and the two of them look to see a group of Elvaan and Hume soldiers in Dark Empire army uniforms and armor racing towards them with weapons drawn on them. They also have some Elvaans and Tarutarus in a mixture of black mage and Dark Empire uniforms providing them support.

 

One of the Tarutarus takes out of a Duel Monsters card from his pocket, it starts to glow, and Tarutaru exclaims, in a strong tone, “Now, I use my Shadow Powers to summon my all mighty Cyber End Dragon in attack mode!” Just then a real-life Cyber End Dragon (4000/2800) appears behind the Tarutaru soldier and then more of the Elvaan and Tarutaru magicians start to summon real-life Shadow Monsters, including five Skull Archfiend of Lightning (2500/1200), ten Cyber Harpies (1800/1300), six Black Tyranno (2600/1800), four more Cyber End Dragon (4000/2800), four groups of Goblin Attack Forces (2300/0), and one Five-Headed Dragon (5000/5000).

 

Solar Jupiter states, in one very annoyed tone, “Oh, wonderful. Shadow Summoners is one hell of a way to start an afternoon.”

 

Sailor Jupiter calls out to Solar Jupiter, with a sly grin on her lips, “Well, why not show them what being lightning Senshi is all about?!”

 

Solar Jupiter shouts out, with his own sly grin, “I was hoping that you would say that!” The two Soldiers, Solar and Sailor, of Jupiter then rush forward to attack the forces set against them, even through they are outnumbered.

 

(On the meanwhile; within another part of town)

 

In another part of Kanesh, we find Sailor Galaxy, Solar Moon, Sailor Moon, and Tuxedo Mask fighting against another 500 to 1,500 Dark Empire soldiers while only 300 soldiers are with them and around 250 of them have already suffered terrible battle wounds. Tuxedo Mask helps the three Senshi by guarding the wounded Vana'diel soldiers while the three of them with the remaining fifty soldiers continue to battle against the Dark Empire soldiers.

 

Three of the Hume soldiers launch a combined Blizzara attack, Sailor Galaxy shouts out in shock as her legs are frozen solid, and she calls out, “My legs!”

 

One of the Hume soldier roars out, darkly, “Got you now, princess!” The three Hume soldiers prepare their weapons to finish Sailor Galaxy off, but she quickly takes out three cards from a hidden card pouch attached to the rear of her mini-skirt and they glow with bright lights.

 

Sailor Galaxy shouts out, “I don't think so! I summon my Dark Witch, my Dark Magician Girl, and my Cyber Blader!” In front of Sailor Galaxy, Dark Witch (1800/1700), Dark Magician Girl (2000/1700), and Cyber Blader (2100/800) appear in front of the three Hume soldiers.

 

Another of the Hume soldiers call out, stunned, “Oh shit! She is a Shadow Summoner!”

 

Sailor Galaxy commands, in a serious tone, “Got that right, jerk! Now, Dark Magician Girl, attack with Dark Burning Attack!” Sailor Galaxy's Dark Magician Girl fires a dark pink beam of energy at the three Dark Empire Hume soldiers and the impact causes a powerful explosion that throws the three soldiers to the ground, very hard. In the aftermath of Dark Magician Girl's attack, Sailor Galaxy uses her specter to break free of the ice and continues to fight. In the middle of the air, the two Moon siblings are fighting two dozen Thangarans that have them surrounded.

 

One of the Thangarans roars out, in a dark and nasty tone, “No where to run, you little moon brats!”

 

Solar Moon roars at them, nastily, “Oh, bite me asshole!”

 

Sailor Moon tells Solar Moon, “Hey, Davis, they might just do that.”

 

Another of the Dark Empire Thangaran soldiers states, in a dark slip-song tone, “Ooh, the male royal moon brat has got a backbone! Let's break it!” Just then all of the Thangarans rush in on Solar and Sailor Moon at once and using maces similar to Hawkgirl on the Justice League television shows uses, they slam their maces right into Solar Moon's back and he roars out in pain from the bone-crushing attack, but he doesn't get any broken bones, however, the wind is knocking out of him.

 

Sailor Moon yells out, shocked, “Oh no!” However, another Thangarans slams another mace right into Sailor Moon's forehead, giving her a bloody gash on her forehead, and stunning her so badly that she is sent falling towards the ground.

 

Solar Moon, Sailor Galaxy, and Tuxedo Mask shout out in horror, “Sailor Moon!” Just then another Dark Empire Thangaran soldier slams his mace into Sailor Moon's chest causing the air to get knocked out of her and a little blood to come out of her mouth.

 

Solar Moon shouts out, angrily, “Back off, major ass!” Solar Moon throws his sword into that Thangaran soldier's back, impaling him in the heart, killing him instantly, and sent his corpse down to the ground. On the meanwhile, Sailor Moon falls over to a pile of debris and rubble and hiding her from sight. Tuxedo Mask prepares to go to her aid, but then several Mithra soldiers charge at him and using their cat-like agility and dexterity, they give Tuxedo Mask a real `fight for his life'.

 

However, Solar Moon gets hit in the back of the head by another mace and the Thangaran soldier that hit him states, in an angered tone, “You will pay for killing him, jackass!” But Solar Moon quickly counterattacks with a powerful right punch to the Thangaran soldier's stomach and hitting him so hard that our Digidestined of Miracles knocks him unconsciousness. However, soon after, the rest of the Thangaran soldiers surround Solar Moon and pummel him with their maces. Solar Moon fights back with his fists and kicks as well as some energy bursts, but the Thangaran soldiers keep on him, giving him black and blues, cuts, and bloody gashes on his right cheek.

 

Sailor Galaxy, seeing this happen to her boyfriend, calls out, horrified, “Davis!” Just then Solar Moon's own sword appears, thrown into the air, and goes right through three of the Thangarans, killing them nearly instantly, and their three corpses fall to the ground. Tuxedo Mask and Sailor Galaxy look to see that it was none other than Sailor Moon, herself, with a look of anger in her eyes was the one that thrown that sword.

 

“Moon Elemental Force Obliteration!”

 

With all of the force of her being, Celestial Sailor Moon fires a beam of fire, lightning, ice, and earth elemental energy from her specter at the Thangarans that are attacking our Digidestined of Miracles and they scream out in extreme pain as they are totally disintegrated into nothingness.

 

Sailor Galaxy says, a bit scared, “Whoa. Remind me never to get her mad.” However, after Sailor Moon attacks, she closes her eyes and faints onto the ground with her back to the ground, leaving her temporary unconscious.

 

Tuxedo Mask calls out, worriedly, “Serena!”

 

Angewomon's voice yells out, “We've got her!” Cyberdramon lands in front of her and launches a beam of light energy from his mouth at two Mithra soldiers that were near Sailor Moon and knock them to the ground, very hard. Angewomon then puts the unconscious Sailor Moon into her hands and flies into the arms of her boyfriend/lover. On the meanwhile, Solar Moon and Sailor Galaxy land with the remaining Vana'diel and SeeD troops, which were twenty five in number, and preparing to defend themselves against the Dark Empire soldiers that were about to kill them.

 

Solar Moon shouts out, in a serious tone, “Hit them hard! NOW!!!” All of Vana'diel and SeeD soldiers launch the best attacks that they could and Sailor Galaxy and Solar Moon fire energy waves at the Dark Empire soldiers, killing 675 of them, and driving them the rest of them for the moment.

 

Sailor Galaxy says, “We're getting battled, Dai-chan!”

 

Solar Moon nods his head and replies, “I know!” Solar Moon then shouts out, “Everyone, fall back! We need to regroup!” All of the remaining Vana'diel and SeeD forces, small in number, pulled back while Cyberdramon and Angewomon, who had just arrived from taking care of new snipers, aided Tuxedo Mask, Sailor Moon, who had just recovered from `fainting spell', Sailor Galaxy, and Solar Moon to get the wounded to safety.

 

(Back inside of the town of Rhodes; A short time soon after)

 

Across the Ives River from Kanesh, within the town of Rhodes, we find the one thousand Lunarian Digidestined and their Digimon partners with Celestial Sailor Mini-Moon, who had a pink visor similar to Sailor Mercury's visor and was watching the battle through the visor since it had an advanced magnification scope.

 

Sailor Mini-Moon says, worriedly, “Oh no! The others are getting pushed back!”

 

Just then a female member of the group, a young teenage girl of 17 years of age with dyed pink hair and lovely aqua-blue eyes, says, “More bad news from Aswan! Sailor Sun and her group are fighting hard in the town, but they are getting pushed back!”

 

A male member of the `unit', a young teenage male of 16 years of age with black hair and light yellow eyes, says, “Well, what can we do? We are stuck back here in this town and his majesty wants us to stay here!”

 

Marina states, in a serious tone, “I know that he doesn't want us to get hurt and all, but I'm not going to stay here and watch them lose!”

 

The female member of the group that informed everyone about the `bad news' from Aswan says, “But we've been ordered to stay here and even through we don't like it, we know that his majesties are not sure of our abilities because they never saw us train or seen the full extent of their abilities.”

 

Marina declares, in a serious tone, “Yeah! Plus, they don't anymore people to get involved that they need to! But we have as much as stake as they do and they might not want us to get hurt, however, we are still members of the Moon Kingdom royal family court or members of the royal guard! It is our duty to protect and assist the Lunarian royal family and their guardian Senshi whenever and wherever we can as well as if they like it or not. I'm not going to stand here and let them die out when we can help! Now, who is with me?!”

 

Her Digimon partner, a Digimon similar to Renamon expect it has light grey and silver fur, says, in a female voice, “I'm with you, Marina.” All of the Lunarian Digidestined and their Digimon partners looking at each other, nodding their heads, and when they look at Marina, the rest of the Digidestined and their Digimon partners nod their heads in unison and in approval.

 

Sailor Mini-Moon asks, perplexed, “How are you going to help them?”

 

Marina says, with a wide grin, “We have a few tricks up our Lunarian sleeves, Princess Rini.” Marina, her Digimon, and the rest of the Lunarian Digidestined, reincarnated Lunarian and Digimon partners, move out towards the bridge that connected Rhodes with Kanesh.

 

(At the entrance to the bridge; Kanesh side; Early afternoon hours)

 

On the Kanesh side of the bridge to Rhodes, we find 100,000 Vana'diel and SeeD force fighting for their lives against nearly 150,000 Dark Empire forces, not including the vast amounts of Shadow Monsters that they summoned. Two battalions of Tarutarus Black Mages and Summoners, protected by one battalion of Hume Paladins with rifles and sabers, fight to protect the bridge against two whole regiments of Dark Knight Mithras and Elvaans.

 

“Thundaga!”

 

“Holy!”

 

“Flare!”

 

“Bahamut, Mega Flare!”

 

Just then five dozen creatures that look similar to the Spiran Aeon, Bahamut, fires reddish beam of energy from their mouths, along with dozens of Flare, Holy, and Thundaga magic attacks blast the Dark Knight Mithras and Elvaans and they scream out as they are totally obliterated. However, out of the smoke and dust, 5,000 Ogres emerge from the smoke and dust with large clubs and axes in hand as they charge at the defenders at the bridge. The Paladins tries to use their rifles on them Ogres, but the shots bounced off their armor, so, they were forced to go to hand to hand. However, in a fight with only 500 Paladins against 5,000 Ogres with only 1,000 Black Mages and Summoners to support the Paladins, it wasn't much of contest. The majority of the force protecting the bridge was obliterated and plenty of the Ogres were making a crossing with many other Dark Empire troops following.

 

One of the Vana'diel army commanders, a Tarutaru Samurai, shouts out, while battling dozens of enemies around him and winning, “The bridge defense is cut! We need people on the bridge! Lady Serenity's children and their allies are too busy on other parts of the city to aid us! We need to make sure our retreat isn't cut off!” Vana'diel and SeeD forces responded by trying to get to bridge, but they are being held back on both sides of the road to the bridge by fierce resistance by the Dark Empire troops. On the meanwhile, the Ogres that survived the battle with forces defending the bridge are crossing the bridge until they are stopped by Marina, who has an M-16 rifle with a long knife-like bayonet attached to the end of the barrel and are waiting on the other side of the bridge in the town of Rhodes. With her is a Digimon similar to Taomon, but it has a light grey kimono with a golden full moon on the skirt portion of the kimono.

 

Marina declares, in a strong tone, “You want to get to this town! You will have to get through us first!”

 

The Ogres and Dark Empire laughed at Marina and one of the soldiers, a 25 year old Hume with light silver hair and dark brown eyes, calls out, in a dark tone, “Okay, sweetie pie, but you will regret it when we beat you and your friend to the ground!”

 

One of the Ogre commanders calls out, “Charge!” All of the Dark Empire and Ogre soldiers charge towards Marina, who has a sly grin on her lips, along with her Digimon partner. They are confident that one person and one Digimon won't stand in their way.

 

When they were pretty close, however, Marina goes one knee and shouts out, “Now!” Just then the rest of the Lunarian Digidestined and their Digimon partners, in their Ultimate and Mega forms, seemly appear out of thin air on both of the Rhodes' entrance/exit of the bridge.

 

A Dark Empire Mithra shouts out, surprised, “What the?!”

 

Marina then commands, in a really loud tone, “Fire!” All of the Digidestined fire their weapons and/or launch powerful magical and/or elemental attacks against the soldiers on the bridge, who are totally surprised and can't defend themselves. Their bullets rip through their armor since they were specially designed to penetrate armor and skin, but shatter when it goes through flesh, and their ammo was also anti-magic as well. The result was the massacre of nearly 30,000 Dark Empire soldiers, humanoid or Ogre, with minimum damage to the bridge and no losses to the Digidestined troops. The Digimon partners, on the meanwhile, launch their attacks towards the other side of the bridge and hitting the Dark Empire troop positions within Kanesh since Mini-Moon is in the skies in Rhodes and directing their fire with her sailor visor. The rest is another 40,000 immediately deaths of unexpected Dark Empire soldiers who weren't expecting such a sneaky and surprise counterattack. As the blood of the dead soldiers pooled on the bridge, Marina calls out, “Okay, troops, across the bridge and . . . try to watch for the blood.”

 

A young 17 year old female with light blue hair and light green eyes says, disgusted, “Easy for you to say. Going through pig corpuses in basic training was a lot nicer than this.”

 

Another `soldier', a male of 18 years of age with shining light grey hair and violet eyes, says, in a serious tone, “Well, you had better get use to it. This is war. Plain and simple.” Soon after, the Digidestined troops and their Digimon partners made their crossing of the Ives River, through the bridge or other means, and arrived on the other side, which shows the Dark Empire troops in totally disarray from the last attack that they made.

 

One SeeD soldier shouts out, surprised to see them, “Hey, what are you doing here?! This is our battle to fight and not yours! We don't need your lives cut short on our soil!”

 

Marina tells that SeeD soldier, in a serious tone, “Hey, what's your problem?! This is our fight as much as ours! The Dark Empire wins here and all of our realities will be in danger! Do you want this war to be over?!”

 

All of the SeeD and Vana'diel soldier nod their heads and shout out in unison, “Yeah!”

 

Marina then calls out, “Well, then who is with us?!” All of the SeeD and Vana'diel soldiers shout out cheers of joy and surprising the Dark Empire soldiers, who were still shock and surprise about this.

 

Another Lunarian Digidestined comes up to Marina and states, with a sly tone, “Well, you are going to get more help! All of the Digidestined and Digimon in Rhodes are moving up!”

 

Marina tells her fellow reincarnated Lunarian, “Well, tell them to come on down!” Soon after, the Lunarian Digidestined and their Digimon partners with the Vana'diel and SeeD forces launch a powerful attack that sent the Dark Empire forces reeling back from a retreat into a total rout. With the rest of the Digidestined troops and their Digimon partner coming across the river in droves. At this moment, the two Celestial Soldiers of Saturn appear in the skies to try to aid in the protection of the bridge, but see that things were already `in hand', so to speak.

 

Sailor Saturn says, “Oh my. It looks like the Digidestined are getting involved after all.”

 

Solar Saturn states, in a plain tone, “But in a way that we didn't expect, but then again, we, Digidestined, tend to be the stubborn type.” Solar and Sailor Saturn then dive in to join the battle and aid the forces of good in the routing of the Dark Empire forces.

 

(On the edge of the town of Aswan; around dusk)

 

Rejoining the Sailor Sun and her forces within the town Aswan, the Dark Empire forces there were also in total rout since the late afternoon hours because the Digidestined forces and Digimon partners came to aid in a surprise counterattack. Now, we find 56,000 Dark Empire soldiers begin attacked by nearly three hundred thousand Vana'diel, SeeD, and Digidestined forces with 50,000 Digimon partners. In the skies, we find Sailor Sun and Sailor Vortex flying overhead and looking down on the action below.

 

Sailor Sun asks Sailor Vortex, in a serious tone, “Ready to finish this?”

 

Sailor Vortex says, “I'm not sure about taking another life. It's just not in my nature.”

 

Sailor Sun tells Sailor Vortex, “I know that, Tea. But if we don't stop this war as quickly as possible, lots more people, including innocent civilians will die. And you don't know what they do to the people that they capture. They suffer fates worse than death.”

 

Sailor Vortex says, in a strong tone, “I'll try my best.”

 

Sailor Sun tells Sailor Vortex, with a smile, “I know that you will!” Just then Sailor Aries, Sailor Scorpio, and Sailor Aurora fly in and point ahead of them. Sailor Sun and Sailor Vortex gasp to see five hundred pitch black colored dragons with diamond-like scales.

 

Sailor Vortex gets in front of Sailor Sun and shouts out, “Look out!” Soon after, the black dragons then fire beams of dark flames from their mouths at Sailor Sun and Sailor Vortex.

 

“Vortex Mirror Reflection!”

 

Sailor Vortex creates a crystal-clear flat energy field in front of them that reflects all of the dragon's attacks right at back them and destroying all of the dragons with their own power.

 

Sailor Aurora tells Sailor Vortex, “Way to go, girlfriend!”

 

Sailor Vortex states, in a bit of a nervous tone, “Thanks . . . I think.”

 

Sailor Aries tells Sailor Sun, “Jun, we've got reports back from Davis and the others. The Dark Empire is in full retreat!”

 

Garudamon flies in and states, “Actually, it is more of a rout. They already lost most of their forces and the rest are running for their lives.”

 

Sailor Sun then says, in a serious tone, “We had better get down to round up the pockets of resistance and secure the towns.”

 

Sailor Scorpio tells Sailor Sun, “Right, Jun.” Garudamon and the four Sailor Scouts then fly down towards the ground to aid their forces in their `mop up' operations.

 

(Within the borders of the Dark Empire; A short time later that evening)

 

Inside of the Dark Empire borders, we find the same dark male figure that was on the large bed and Arabian pillows filled with the `slave girls' still cloaked in shadows and his features unseen sitting on a large chair with some pillows attached for a back and `seat' comfort in front a large table looking over reports about the battle for the four towns.

 

The dark male figure growls in annoyance, “It seems like Vana'diel has gained some powerful and stubborn allies and their armies are more motivated and stronger than ever. It would be foolish for a second attempt. By the time we are ready to recover from this loss, they will outnumber us in that area.” However, the dark figure, still mainly covered in shadows, says, in a dark excited tone, “Well, you might have turned this war around, but it is left to be seen that if you can win it. This shall prove a very `interesting diversion'.”

 

(In the middle of the next morning; Just outside of the town of Rhodes)

 

Outside of the town of Rhodes, we find the Lunarian Digidestined and their Digimon partners standing with the rest of the Digidestined army and their Digimon partners as all of our heroes and heroines look at all of them, human, Digimon, or otherwise. After all of the battling ended during late last evening, the Dark Empire had suffered 895,678 dead and 250,000 more captured, half of whom are wounded, but the Vana'diel and SeeD forces suffered nearly 360,000 dead and 150,000 wounded and the Digidestined forces suffered 55,000 wounded humans and 45,000 wounded Digimon, but all of whom will recovered within three weeks at the most. The Lunarian Digidestined suffered 200 wounded humanoids and 50 wounded Digimon, including Marina, who took one powerful Firaga spell on the left arm, leaving a nasty burn and one slash across her right cheek from Dark Knight's sword. Marina, with her cheek healed and armed patched up thanks to some help from some White Mage healers, is standing in front of the Lunarian Digidestined as Solar Moon and Sailor Sun comes up to them.

 

Solar Moon states, in a plain tone, “I believe that you have made your point quite clear. In your actions, yesterday afternoon and evening, you turned possible defeat into total victory. The Dark Empire has suffered its first major defeat on the battlefield.”

 

Sailor Sun says, in a serious tone, “But not because of us . . . It was you . . . Ready to take responsibility and do what you needed to do to protect your families, friends, and your homes. If you wish to back down, now, you can do so, but if you want to fight with us . . . you can fight with us.” The Digidestined and their Digimon partners were smiling, but then Sailor Sun says, “However, you are going back to Vana'diel for some basic training in Lunar history, magic, and combat tactics. If you are going to fight here, you are going to need to be prepared for whatever comes your way. You need to know about the world you are fighting in and the enemy that you are fighting in full.”

 

Solar Moon then says, in a commanding tone, “Plus, you are going to be organized into new fighting units and all of you together are going to have a new name. Simply put, you are the Digidestined Expeditionary Force or DEF for short.”

 

All of the Digidestined and their Digimon partner say in unison, “Yes sir!”

 

Sailor Sun then goes over to Marina and says, “However, you and the Lunarian Digidestined are going into the front line as quickly as possible and Marina, you are commander of the First Lunarian Digidestined Regiment.”

 

Marina replies, flabbergasted, “Me?! But I'm not a member of the royal guard! I was just an elite Spellcaster in the Lunarian royal court!”

 

Sailor Pluto says, with a smile, “But you've proven an excellent fighter and leader, Marina. You were the one that inspired and the lead these reincarnated Lunarians to victory with the other Digidestined.”

 

Solar Moon states, with his usual sly grin, “Like it or not, you are now Colonel Marina. Got it?!”

 

Marina exclaims, with a military salute, “Yes sir, your majesty!” All of our heroes and heroines smile and/or laugh at Marina's little `action'.

 

Sailor Galaxy tells Solar Moon, “Daisuke, I guess that Gennai was right. We are going to need everyone that we can get. If the war continues, sooner or later, it will spread to our reality and all others with more Lunar citizens and people from all other realities are going to suffer.”

 

Tai, covered in enemy blood after fierce combat, says, in a serious tone, “Kari's right. Like it or not, we need their help. We are only just a few groups of heroes with special powers. We can't take on a whole evil nation alone.”

 

Sailor Mars nods her head and states, “I've got to agree. We are going to need to train, to fight, and get as strong as we can.”

 

Sailor Jupiter says, in a serious tone, “How long is this war going to take?”

 

Sailor Uranus replies, in her serious tone, “As long as it needs to be to stop the Dark Empire, save Lunar, and the entire of reality.” All of our heroes and heroines look up into the sky as the sun continues to rise and they know that they have a long road ahead of them . . .

 

Next time in Chapter 10: Galaxy's Star Shines Bright: Six months after the first battles along the Ives Rivers, the forces of Vana'diel and their allies, including the newly renamed Digidestined Expeditionary Force and our heroes and heroines, have made great gains on the battlefield. With vast territories, the Dark Empire's forces are spread out so far that the battles on the Ives River cost them dearly, but by this time, the forces of Vana'diel and their allies have formed a stalemate with the Dark Empire forces after capturing or recapturing vast amount of territory from the Dark Empire. By this time both forces have formed powerful defensive lines and they are stuck fighting in trench warfare similar that found on Earth during World War I. At this time, our heroes and heroines have become hardened warriors and have learned many new skills along with their armies, including the DEF. However, the Dark Empire have plenty of allies of their own and Queen Beryl is one of them. Queen Beryl and the forces of the Negaverse that she has under her command and attacks a city that was liberated around one month after the battles on the Ives River. In command of the forces within the city is none other than our Digidestined of Light and Princess of the Galaxy Kingdom. When Queen Beryl and her forces attacks, the evil queen of the Negaverse attacks Sailor Galaxy in her hatred for our Moon Prince and Digidestined of Miracles. However, what she and her forces didn't expect was the fierceness of the forces under our Digidestined of Light's command and the strength of Sailor Galaxy. The evil queen and Galaxy Princess fight with all of powers in a battle like none other, but on the meanwhile, forces outside of the battlefield on both sides are planning to make sure that this war, known as the Second Interdimensional Wars or Interdimensional Wars II, goes in their favor. Will Sailor Galaxy be able to fight and beat the evil queen of the Negaverse by her lonesome? What forces are at work behind the lines? And are their intentions for good or for ill?

 

Here it is! The newest chapter of my newest Mega Crossover story and I hope that you like it!
