Legend of the D-Warriors: War of the Worlds

 

Recap: It was in the aftermath with the last battle with Eris and now, the D-Warrior have a new `mission' added to their own main mission. Now, with six more D-Warriors out there, they had to train them with everything that they learned in their three year journey of training to prepare for their showdown with the greatest threat to all worlds. And now, they had found the two in their world, Kari Kamiya, Digidestined of Light, and Ken Ichijouji, Digidestined of Kindness, were proven to be the new D-Warriors of Davis' and Jun's home world. And quick enough, the `older' D-Warriors had to give the `younger' D-Warriors their first lesson, the ability to transform from Ascendant back to their normal states. And Kari and Ken passed with flying colors! Then all of them went to the Digital World where Gennai lead them to a secret training field where one of his best friends lives. His name is Kira, one of the few survivors of the Dark Masters' attack on the Order's, the ones who chose the Digidestined, base and one of the best trainers of warriors within the order. However, he was their mainly for aid as an assistant, since the first four D-Warriors, Davis, Jun, Takato, and Takuya, were going to be Kari's and Ken's `teachers'. But before they could being, Serenity told them that Kari needed to be infuse with a power from another world and that she would be going to get it. When she left, the Digidestined, D-Warriors, and their Digimon decided to take a break. During that time, the Digidestined learned why the Crest of Miracles was the strongest crest of the Digidestined. And speaking crests, even though Eris' destroyed the `evil shield', Gennai recovered the members of Tai's team own crests and gave Yolei and Cody their own crests! Yolei gained the Crest of Faith and Cody received the Crest of Wisdom. Matt and Mimi learned much more about the murder of Jun's Spiran boyfriend, who we now know, was named Leon. With Jun's `testimony', it seem like the whole picture, but is there something missing?! Meanwhile, the Digidestined learn that Silvermon is an ancient mythical and mysterious Digimon that's rarely seen by even other Digimon. However, Jun's Silvermon doesn't know much about her past or heritage. And Kari and Gatomon joined our three High Princes while they were playing the Digimon Card Game from Takato's world, though Davis and Takuya are weak at the game compared to Takato. And then Serenity returned with the power that she needed to infuse in Kari, the power of the magic-users of the Guardian World. Our Digidestined of Light willing took the test of the infusion ritual, but then test was reveal to deal with her own demon and her own shadow, now given physical form! When Kari becomes traps inside of her mind by own demons, negative emotions, and darkness, Davis steps-up and, with Jun restraining Kari, our Digidestined of Miracles uses his mental abilities to go into Kari's sub-conscious. With some encourage and caring, Davis is able to help Kari conquer her own demons, defeat her own shadow, gain a new transformation power, and past the test of becoming one of the magic-users, with the power of a neutralizer as well, of the Guardian World. With that, you may wonder what's next, but then a strange winds passes over the group and it makes the D-Warriors and the Digidestined of Courage, Love, and Faith VERY nervous. What do these three Digidestined know about this strange wind that the D-Warriors know and the other Digidestined don't? Find out in this episode of Digimon: Digital Monsters!

 

02 World Saga, Episode 13: Lure of the Fox-Spirits

 

(One Day After the Last Battle with Eris and the New D-Warriors Began Their Training)

 

(That Morning; At Eris' Fortress)

 

We find Eris talking to her master on the view-screen, she had just report the events of yesterday and Eris' master is not please.

 

“ERIS! This is yet another of your failures to destroy the D-Warriors! Not only that two more D-Warriors have appeared and their powers have been unleashed!” Eris' master voice booms at Eris.

 

Eris meekly tells her master, “But my lord, I didn't know that there were more D-Warriors. Their appearance totally surprised me! If they didn't gain their powers, I would have finished that brat Prince Daisuke and his older sister that bitch of Spirit, Jun Motomiya.”

 

“NO EXCUSES, ERIS!” the Ultimate Being of Destruction brawls out at Eris angrily. He wasn't in the mood for any excuses.

 

“But master, all is not lost, you must know that these two D-Warriors have just gained their powers and must be trained.” Eris tells her master, nervous.

 

Eris' master then realizes what its servant is saying, “I see, Eris. You have an excellent point. The new D-Warriors are going to need training in use of their powers and abilities and that's when they will be vulnerable.”

 

Eris then states, knowing that her master will be enraged that she didn't tell him, “Master, there is a SLIGHT problem, however.”

 

The Ultimate Being of Destruction, already annoyed at Eris, asks in the same tone, “WHAT `PROBLEM'?!”

 

Eris gulps in fear and then answers, “The new D-Warriors are being trained and guarded by the `older' D-Warriors with aid from this world's Chosen Children, the Digidestined. Prince Daisuke, Prince Takato, Prince Takuya, and Jun are training them in use of their powers and intrusting them with everything that they learned during their three years of their training journey. I won't get even close to either of the new D-Warriors while being protected by the more powerful and experience D-Warriors and those Digidestined. Without preparing, it will be most difficult for to get near them, much less attack them.”

 

The Ultimate Being of Destruction chuckles to himself and tells Eris, “Eris, my dear Eris, you know `where there is will, there is a way'. I suspect that you will get a chance to destroy one of the new D-Warriors soon enough.”

 

Eris, confused at how her master knows this, asks him, “My lord, I don't mean to be rude to your greatness, but how do you know this?”

 

Eris' master answers, “Call it a sixth sense, my dear. Now, be ready when this opportunity comes!”

 

“But how will I know when this chance has arrived?” Eris asks, still a bit meekly.

 

The Ultimate Being of Destruction giggles evilly and replies, “You will know, Eris. You will know. Just keep your sense open. I think that slow-witted servant of mine can do that.” And then the Ultimate Being of Destruction image, though cover in darkness, expect his red eyes, disappears from the screen.

 

Eris growls to herself from being insulted and thinks, “[This is all your fault, Junie! You and your pathetic band of D-Warriors will pay for my master having to insult me and lose faith in me! I SWEAR THAT ALL OF YOU D-WARRIORS WILL PAY!]” And then Eris' power erupts, shaking her whole fortress down to the roots. And Eris' fortress came be seen shaking for the deepest reaches of the Digital Underworld.

 

(Kira's Training Field; Later that Morning)

 

Today, we find our Digidestined, Tai, Sora, Mimi, Matt, Joe, Cody, TK, Yolei, and Izzy with their Digimon partner sitting down as the four new D-Warrior `instructors', Davis Motomiya, Jun Motomiya, Takato Matsuki of the Digimon Tamers, and Takuya Kanbara of the Frontier Digidestined, train and teach the two D-Warrior `trainees', Tai's younger sister Kari, and the Destined of Kindness, Ken. We find Angewomon, Gatomon's Ultimate form, and Stingmon, Wormmon's Champion form, in the air looking for something or, should I say, someone. Ever since yesterday with the Guardian World's power being infused with Kari with the incident with her own shadow, Davis HIGHLY suggested that they start with the Ascendant powers and work with the kinds of powers that use spirit energy. By this time, they have master the ability to transform back and forth with ease and hold the Ascendant form for prolonged periods of time.

 

“Where did Kari go?” Tai asked, looking up into the air.

 

“I don't know, Tai. Kari and Ken flew away quite fast.” Sora responds.

 

“Yeah! This is there first flying lessons and I think they already mastered how to fly!” Matt exclaims.

 

Jun calls to Matt, “Actually, Yamato, if you replace that `I think' from that sentence then you would be right!”

 

“Whoa!” Joe exclaims, knowing what Jun is talking about. “Are you serious?” Joe adds by asking.

 

“Totally!” Takuya answers.

 

“Wow.” was all that Tai could comment.

 

Meanwhile, in the air, Angewomon called out, “Kari, where are you?” Then something or someone zips by, nearing missing Angewomon. When Angewomon turns to source, Kari, in Ascendant form, was floating right in front of her.

 

Kari giggled a little and tells Angewomon in nice and happy voice, “Sorry, Angewomon.” And then Kari beings to fly around in circles, loop-d-loops, and all kinds of twists and turns. Ken, also in Ascendant form, then flies up quickly to Stingmon and stops in front of him.

 

“Ken, could you please slow down a little?” Stingmon asks, a bit worried.

 

Ken rubs his head, blushes a bit in embarrassment, and tells Stingmon, “Sorry, buddy. I thought that I was moving at a good steady place, but I guess that I went to fast.” And then Davis, using his super-speed, flies up there and gets in front of his `students'.

 

“Well, that's because not only are you and Kari are stronger than all Digimon, but faster, too.” Davis tells them.

 

Kari and Angewomon fly up to Davis and ask, curious, “We are Davis?”

 

Jun then floats into the air, up to the group, and answers, “With their powers, Ascendant have the ability to move with speed faster than average human eye can see or even the most powerful Digimon can see. And that means speed that reach supersonic speeds and beyond, once their abilities are fully master and they become even stronger.”

 

“Wow!” Ken exclaims.

 

Davis chuckles to himself and states, “Yes, it can be. And we should know that, quite well, obviously.”

 

Jun then giggles and says, “Well, we know how to do that since the both of us have been well-trained and are quite power so we can move with such incredible speeds that no average human or Digimon can see us. How well you can see us is based on how powerful you are to my brother and me.”

 

“This sounds quite complicated.” Ken says.

 

Davis nods and says, “Yes, it is. But simply is, beings with higher spirit energy, like Ascendants, their power enhances the Ascendant's eyes to allow them to see opponents with high level of power and thus can move faster than the human eye. But there is more than one way of locating your opponent than just enhanced eyesight.”

 

“How we can do that?” Kari asks, curiously.

 

Then Takato appears right beside of Davis and Jun through the use of Instant Transmission and tells them, “Well, we can get on to the next lesson and we can show you. We can't you teach anymore about flying since the both of you have mastered that ability.” And then Kari, Ken, Davis, Jun, Takato, Angewomon, and Stingmon floated down to the ground. When they landed, Angewomon returned to Gatomon and Stingmon de-digivolved back to Wormmon. Takato then calls out to Guilmon, saying, “Okay, Guilmon, I need for you to come here!”

 

“Coming, Takato!” Guilmon calls back and the red reptile Digimon runs until he was face to face, in a way, with his Tamer.

 

Kari, curious at why they needed Guilmon, asks, “What do we need your partner for Takato?”

 

Jun giggle a bit and then answers, “We need him to show you have to use other than your eyes to find your opponents.”

 

Ken, quite perplexed, asked, “How is Guilmon going to do that?”

 

Davis answers with a smile on his face, “You'll see Ken. We need for you to remain in your Ascendant form and to follow Takato, Guilmon, and me.” And then the two Princes and Guilmon began to move towards the center of the field.

 

Ken shrugged and responds with, “If you say so, Davis.” And then follows the two D-Warriors and Rookie Digimon. Meanwhile, Tai goes over to his currently spiky blond haired and emerald-green eyed sister.

 

When Kari looks at Tai with her, at the moment, emerald-green eyes, Tai, with a great big smile, says, “Kari, I really liked your little `air show'. You were amazing flying up there.”

 

Kari blushes slightly and replies, “Thanks, Tai.”

 

Yolei then asks Kari, curiously, “So, Kari, tell us, what is like to fly around?”

 

Kari, with a wide smile on her face, answers Yolei with, “It's amazing, Yolei! It seems scary at first, but flying around with amazing speed without the help of anyone or anything. I just can't describe it!”

 

“Wow, Kari!” Mimi exclaims. And then everyone looks at the exercise being prepared with Davis, Takato, and Guilmon for Ken's training.

 

“Okay, Guilmon, you ready for the exercise?” Takato asks his partner.

 

“Ready, Takato!” Guilmon exclaims.

 

Davis asks Ken, “Ready for this training, Ken?”

 

Ken shrugs and says, “Ready as I will ever be.” Davis turns to Takato and nods his head. Takato then takes a Hyper-Speed modify card and brings it to his digivice.

 

“Digi-Modify! Hyper-Speed activate!” Takato calls out, as he swipes the modify card through his D-Power digivice. And then Guilmon begins to use his new super-speed to run and zip around Ken. The Child of Kindness tried to keep up with Takato's Digimon partner, but he could barely even keep up with the speeding red reptile Digimon's shadow.

 

“Whoa! Hey! Slow down! Okay, what's the point of Guilmon running around me?” Ken asks, pretty confused.

 

“Well, simply Ken, this exercise is used to develop your sense.” Davis answers, simply.

 

“`Sense?' Kind of light my sight or hearing?” Ken asks, wondering.

 

Davis shakes his head and explains, “No, Ken, your sense. With my of the battle that you will fight in as a D-Warrior, opponents will be moving faster than your eyes, even though enhanced, can follow that opponent. Believe the rest of us more experienced, D-Warriors, we had many battle just like that. To find these opponents you have to fuse all of your senses into one and then you will create a new sense. With this `sense', you can do many things, like detect energy signal, most of them life-aura, like Guilmon and the rest of us who developed this ability.”

 

Ken, impressed, asks, “Wow! That `sense' can do all that?”

 

Davis then explains, “And that's just of the beginning of what you can do with that ability. You can also, identify person or Digimon by their energy signal, tell how powerful they are, even if they are hiding or suppressing some of their power, tell if they are good or evil, and how far they are.”

 

While Guilmon was still speeding around him, Ken asks, “Okay, Davis, but how do I create and use this `sense'?”

 

Takato then answers, “If you want to keep up with Guilmon, don't just see my partner. You have to also smell him, taste him, feel Guilmon, and hear Guilmon move. Use all of your senses and combine them into one to find Guilmon.”

 

“Well, okay.” Ken says, takes a deep breath, and closes his eyes. Then he tunes out all of the noises and scents around him. And then Ken felt small gust of wind on his right and small smell of sweat from Guilmon in his noise. He opened his mouth and tasted Guilmon's breath, which had the taste of bread in it. And then opening his eyes, Ken saw Guilmon's profile on his right, then his left, and then in front of him. Ken kept concentrating more and more and then he could keep track of Guilmon easily as one, two, and three. And then in one swift motion, he turns to his left, grabbed Guilmon's tail to his total surprise, and Guilmon landed flat on his butt, hard. The other Digidestined and their Digimon, especially Ken's partner Wormmon, were totally speechless at how Ken managed, quite easily, to catch a speeding Digimon like that. But, Davis, Jun, Takato, and Takuya had wide smiles on their faces.

 

Ken, blushing in embarrassment at Guilmon's fall, which he caused, let's go of Guilmon's tail, and tells Takato's partner, “Oops, sorry about that Guilmon.”

 

Guilmon gets up, rubs his behind, and replies, “Don't worry about it, Ken, really. This is the exact same way that Takato and the others trained to use their `sense' and I got the sore butt to prove it.”

 

Takuya groans and exclaims, sarcastically, “Oh, sure Guilmon, why don't you tell the whole Digital World about that!” That got laughs from Veemon, Silvermon, Takato, Davis, and Jun. The Digimon could give confused stares and the Digidestined managed to give slight giggles and laughs, expect TK, who was still scowling.

 

On the meanwhile, when Ken gets out of the way, Jun calls out to Kari, “Okay, Kari! It's your turn!”

 

Kari nods and says, “Right!” And then leaving Tai goes over to where her four `teachers' were waiting for her.

 

When Guilmon was in position and Takato had his modify card ready, Jun tells Kari, “Now, Kari, remember what you overheard from my brother and then you will be able to find Guilmon.”

 

Kari nods her head and in a serious-tone, responds, “Gotcha!”

 

Davis then signal Takato by exclaiming, “Okay, Takato, go for it!”

 

“Digi-Modify! Hyper Speed activate!” Takato calls out, as he swipes his card through his digivice. And then Guilmon does the exact same thing with Ken's exercise and bring to run circles, literally, at super-speed, around our Digidestined of Light. Kari closed her eyes and did exactly what Ken did, just a lot faster. Quickly, Kari gained the ability to easily track Guilmon and with one, nearly instantaneous motion, Kari did an about-face, grabbed Guilmon by the tail, and Guilmon landed on his bottom, hard, yet again. The Digidestined, especially Tai with a REALLY wide smile on his face, were impressed and the Digimon were just looking, including Gatomon, and gawking at the impressive move, just as impressive as Ken's, that Kari made.

 

Kari quickly let go of Guilmon's tail, blushes a bright cherry red, and says to Guilmon, apolitically, “Oh, sorry about that Guilmon.”

 

Guilmon gets up and, while rubbing his rear, once more, replies with, “Don't worry about that Kari.” But Guilmon then comments, “But I think I better get some kind of safety cushion if I'm going to do this again.”

 

Takuya then states, joking, “Yeah, Guilmon or your bottom will be redder than the rest of your skin.” And this cause loud laughs to come the Digidestined, expect from TK, all the Digimon, and all the D-Warriors.

 

And then Davis comes over and, unknowingly, puts his right hand on Kari's left shoulder, and comments to Kari, “That was very good Kari. You and Ken are learning faster than most people. Actually, the only ones that learned just as fast was Jun, Takato, Takuya, and me.”

 

Kari then looks and feels that Davis' right hand was on her left, blushes a deeper red, if that was possible, and stutters, “T-T-Thanks, D-D-Davis.” Davis wondered about the stuttering and looked to see Kari's deep blushing.

 

Davis asks, concerned, “Are you okay? Something wrong?”

 

Kari, still blushing deep as ever, gawks out, “N-No! Nothing at all.” Davis wondered about that and then looked to realize that he had his hand on Kari's shoulder. Davis speedily pulled away from her and gains a slight red blush on her face.

 

“I . . . uh . . . um . . . sorry about that Kari.” Davis stammers, quite embarrassed, and then laughs a bit nervously, actually, VERY nervously.

 

Kari, though still blushing herself, states to Davis, reassuringly, “Don't worry, Davis. I had no problem with it.” Davis forced himself to wonder about it, but then Jun's voice cuts in.

 

Jun then exclaims, interrupting Davis' train of thought, “Well, I think that with a little more practice will be in more and then we will be ready for the next lesson!”

 

“Right!” Ken and Kari exclaim at the same time. Davis wasn't made that his older sister interrupted his train of thought, actually, he was kind of GLAD, that she did.

 

“[Better focus on the important task for the moment, but I still wonder why Kari said that.]” Davis thinks to himself, but our Digidestined of Miracles decided to wait to later to think about that subject. But before anyone else could say or do a thing, that strange wind that passed over the group, yesterday, came back and even more greater, stronger, or even more mysterious then ever. This makes the group of the D-Warriors, with Tai, Sora, and Yolei, even more nervous than before.

 

Jun thinks to herself, with a nervous look on her face, “[Oh man! Why THEM?! What or who would THEY want here?!]”

 

Takato thinks to himself, with same look as Jun, “[No! Why here?! Why now?! Why THEM?! Why would THEY being coming here and now?!]”

 

Takuya, with the same look as his two other D-Warriors, thinks, “[Shit! What are THEY doing here?!]”

 

Davis then thinks, “[No! No! THEY can't be coming here! But THEY are! THOSE `CREATURES' are even worse than Eris, at times! Why in the whole wide Digital World would THEY be coming here?!]”

 

Tai thinks to himself, with an even worried look on his face, “[No! Please not THEM! Not here! Not now!]”

 

Sora says in her own thoughts, “[Oh, please, no! No! Please don't let be THEM!]”

 

And finally, Yolei panic inside her own thoughts, “[What are THEY doing here?! Please don't let it be what I think it means! I thought that they already did it to me!]”

 

Kari sees that Davis is very nervous and asks, worriedly, “Daisuke, is something wrong?!”

 

Davis, snaps out his train of thought, and answers Kari, “No! No, there is nothing wrong. I thought that I sensed something, but it was just my imagination.”

 

“Are you sure?” Kari asks, still pretty worried.

 

“Yes, I'm sure. It. . . . It's just all the stress that worked up fighting Eris and everything else that happened so far.” Davis replies, still sounding a bit nervous.

 

“Okay.” Kari says, but something inside was telling Kari and her growing abilities was telling her otherwise.

 

Ken saw that the other D-Warriors were worried and asks them, “Hey, is there something wrong?” Then they, too, snap out of their train of thought and all of them look at Ken.

 

Jun speaks first with, “No! Nothing, really.”

 

Takato adds, “Yeah, we thought that we sensed something, but it was just our imaginations were playing tricks on us.”

 

Takuya finishes by saying, “That's right. Sometimes are senses are fooled cause we have been fighting so much and we are so . . . so jumpy.” Ken nodded in understanding, but he wasn't so sure that they were being sincere about it.

 

Meanwhile Matt notice Tai was also nervous and asked him, concerned, “Hey, Tai! You, okay?”

 

Tai gets out of his train of thought and answers, stammering, “Oh! Yeah! I-I-I'm just . . . just cold! That's it! Cold!”

 

Matt then responds, “Maybe, you should get a jacket or something then. But you looked more nervous than cold.”

 

“Hey, sorry about that! When I'm cold, I look nervous instead, you know.” Tai explains, quickly.

 

“Okay, Tai, whatever you say.” Matt responds, but something inside Matt was telling him that Tai was hiding something.

 

Mimi, who noticed that Sora and Yolei, were also nervous, ask them, “Are the both of you nervous about something or are you cold?”

 

Sora and Yolei quickly face Mimi and tell her quickly, by exclaiming, “Cold!”

 

Mimi, who was surprised by their quick and loud answer, tells them, “Okay! Okay! You, both, don't have to yell about it!”

 

Yolei then rubs her head in embarrassment and says, “Sorry, Mimi. I'm also nervous with the attacks and all, you know.”

 

Sora adds to Yolei's statements with, “Yeah, Mimi. Eris could pop up and attack us at anytime.”

 

Mimi then replies, convinced, “Okay.” But Davis overhear and see the nervousness of Tai, Sora, and Yolei about the wind.

 

“[I don't think that they were cold about the wind or nervous about Eris attacking us. They seemed to know what that wind was and what it means.]” Davis thinks to himself. Then Davis got a shocking thought and thinks, “[Could they be. . . No! No way! Not them! It's not possible! And with Tai that would make Kari the same! What a ridiculous idea!]” But then Davis adds to his thoughts with, “[Or is it?]” But then decides to drop it, for the moment. And the other D-Warrior who also witness the nervousness of Tai, Sora, and Yolei about the `strange wind' and were wondering the same thing as the Digidestined of Miracles, but also decided to drop it for the time being. But that `strange wind' beings to pick, but behind and around the group, in the forest surrounding the training field.

 

(Meanwhile; At Eris' Fortress; One Hour Before Noon)

 

Eris was waiting with the forces of Heartless and Tyrannodrones that she assembled for the opportunity that her master talked to destroy the two brand new D-Warriors, Hikari Kamiya, Digidestined of Light, and Ken Ichijouji, the Digidestined of Kindness. And then Eris sensed a strange, but familiar presence in the Digital World. Strange, for it was new and foreign to the Digital World and familiar, since Eris knew EXACTLY what that presence was.

 

With a wide smile across her face, Eris says to herself, “So, that was what my lord and master meant. I get it know.”

 

“{Well, you know what to do, don't you?}” Eris' master calls telepathically.

 

“{Yes, I do, my master.}” Eris responds.

 

“{Well, DO IT! And don't fail me this time!}” Eris' master exclaims, telepathically.

 

“{I won't and I can't, my lord!}” Eris responds with her own telepathic message. And then thinking to herself, “[Finally! At long last, the end of the D-Warriors!]” And then looking at her force, she exclaims, “Prepare yourself, troops! Today, the end of the D-Warriors is at hand! Don't fail me and my lord or ELSE!” And then she thinks, evilly, “[I can't wait to see that bastard, Prince Daisuke, and that bitch of a female Digidestined, Jun Motomiya, faces when I destroy their precious new members, especially poor little Kari! I will make her end most painful! And she won't be able to help herself when she is fighting her greatest enemy, HERSELF!]” And then Eris laughs with an evil cackle that fills the entire Digital Underworld.

 

(Back to Kira's Training Field; One Half-Hour After Noontime)

 

Well, progress for the two new D-Warriors is going well and Kari and Ken have master the ability to transform back and forth between Ascendant and their normal states, the ability to fly, and plus the ability to sense other life-aura/energy signatures. Now, as the other Digidestined watch, the Child of Light and Child of Kindness are going to learn how to their spirit energy.

 

“Fox Flame!” Silvermon exclaims, as she gather a small red flame on all the tips of her four tails, which were together and touching, and then lunches the flame at a large rock which the flame turns into a fox-shape, and when it slams into the rock, the rock is destroyed, totally. For Izzy, Kira, and Gennai, who was watching, this was a real treat to see Silvermon's attacks in action. But before the rest of them, expect for the four experienced D-Warriors, and, especially the D-Warrior trainees, they were wondering why they showed this.

 

Takato comes up to Kari and Ken, who were currently in their Ascendant states, and asks them, “Kari, Ken, have either of you ever wondered how Digimon are able to perform attacks like that?”

 

“Not really. How can Digimon perform special attacks like Silvermon's?” Kari asks, wondering like Ken, right now.

 

“Well, Digimon, unlike humans, have better understand and control over their energy, which is called spirit energy.”

 

“What's spirit energy, Takato?” Ken asks.

 

Davis then comes beside Takato and answers Ken, “Spirit energy or Reiki, as spirit energy is also called, is the flow of the aura that surrounds the body of living things. All living things have spirit energy. Trees, bugs, birds, mammals, and, especially, humans and Digimon have spirit energy inside of them. However, unlike humans, Digimon are born with the unique ability to use their spirit energy through their special attacks. Every Digimon attacks that don't use `energy waves' of sorts also use spirit energy. Veemon's V-Headbutt attack, for example, Veemon's own spirit energy forms a barrier around his head that turns him into that `living Digimon battering ram', plow into things, and come out undamaged.”

 

“Wow! I thought that Veemon was just really thick-headed.” Gatomon says, jokingly.

 

Insulted, Veemon exclaims, “Hey!”

 

Giggling to himself, Davis adds, seeming to agree with Gatomon, “And there is that, too.”

 

“Hey! Whose side are you on, Davis?!” Veemon exclaims, feeling even more insulted that his partner added to the insult. This caused the rest of the humans, expect TK, and all the Digimon to laugh. Veemon pouts with indignity.

 

Davis smiling widely at his partner, tells him, “Come on, buddy! Gatomon and I were only joking around! Come on!” Veemon gives a smile back, he can't stay mad at his partner and Gatomon, for long.

 

Takato then continues with the explanation by saying, “However, the majority of humanity, on the other hand, though having this energy within them unusual goes on with their lives without using it. However, some humans and other living beings, besides Digimon, have managed to find to use their spirit energy, though their own unique qualities in their own biology, some special skill they gain, or, though the most extreme of training of body, mind, and soul. The special attacks that we, the more experience D-Warriors, use like the Kamehameha and the Spirit Gun, for example, are just two of the many different ways we can manipulate our own spirit energies to attack our opponents.”

 

“So, you're saying that Kari and I can do this too?” Ken asks.

 

“With the right training, of course, and then you will be able to use the many different varieties of special attacks that we can use. However, spirit energy can do more than attack your opponent with `energy waves'. Once controlled and mastered, you can pulverizing rocks by just concentrating energy into your fist or you can even heal others with just your own life-force.” Davis explains. This really impresses all the others that were hearing this lecture for Davis and Takato.

 

“Wow. So, how do we start this training?” Kari asks.

 

Jun then comes up and tells Kari and Ken, “Well, we are going to start with basic way of using spirit energy to attack your opponent. This basic attack is called the ki blast.”

 

“`Ki blast'?” Ken asks, perplexed.

 

Jun answers Ken by explaining to him and Kari, “A ki blast is one of the basic way of manipulate your spirit energy to attack your opponent. Unlike the majority of other special attacks, this requires very little manipulation compared to `energy waves' like the Kamehameha wave or Galick Gun attack. Let me show you.” And then Jun sticks her left hand out, her palm in the air, and then creates a small energy ball in her head, surprises the new `trainees' and the other Digidestined. Jun continues her lecture with saying, “This is a ki blast. You can form this by feeling your aura or life-energy, bringing it out, and forming into a ball of varying size and power. This requires the least amount of manipulation of your spirit energy unlike most of other special attacks. No special word, saying, or command to assembling the energy and `launching' that power at your opponent or, most of the time, time-consuming gathering of energy. To use it: You focus your mind on your target and then use that mind to `fire' the ki blast. Like this.” And then Jun focus her left hand, which had the ki blast hovering over it, on a large rock to Jun's left side, looks at it, fires the attack, and, when the ki blast hits the rock, totally destroys it in a small explosion. All the others, even though they saw these attacks from the D-Warriors before, were still awestruck by them, even TK.

 

“Impressive.” Kira comments.

 

“I agree, Kira. It is a great demonstration of using your inner energies.” Gennai states, also impressed with the demo of Jun's.

 

“Wow.” Cody was all that could say.

 

“I see and I'm still amazed by that!” Yolei exclaims.

 

“I agree with their Yolei!” Sora adds by saying her comment out loud.

 

Then Davis states, “The power of the ki blast depend on how much power the person or being using it puts into the attack and how powerful that being is. However, usually, ki blasts are weaker than `energy waves' like the Big Bang Kamehameha or Final Flash attacks.”

 

Takuya then comes up and says, “Ken, I think that you should try first.”

 

“Well, okay.” Ken says. Ken comes besides his D-Warrior `teachers', Takuya points out a large rock, and tells Ken, “Now, you have to feel your spirit energy, your aura, bring it out, and focus it.”

 

“Right.” Ken simply replies. Ken then extended his hand, felt his inner power, then his hand glowed, and small energy ball formed in his hand.

 

“All right, Ken. That was good. Now, focus on where you want it go.” Davis tells Ken.

 

“Gotcha, Davis.” Ken replies. Takato concentrated on the large stone in front of him, then using his mind as the `trigger', Ken `fires' his energy ball at the rock, which flies straight into the rock, blasting it into dust.

 

“Wow, I did it!” Ken exclaims.

 

“That was great, Ken! I knew that you can do anything you can put your mind to!” Yolei calls out to Ken.

 

Ken blushes in embarrassment and says, while rubbing his head, “Well, thanks Yolei.”

 

Davis then tells Ken, “Yolei is right, Ken! Don't be modest! That was a perfect use of a ki blast attack. Very few people, while training to use them, get it so perfect on their first try!”

 

“Really?” Ken asks, curiously.

 

Jun then answers, “That's right, Ken. Very few training warriors ever get this so perfect on the first try.” Then blushing while she said this part, “Even us, Davis, Takato, Takuya, and myself had to work on that when we did this kind of training. But don't think it took us so long. We got that training done quite quickly.”

 

Ken smiles at Jun and responds, “Knowing all of you, I believe.”

 

Takato then calls out to Kari, “It's your turn Kari!”

 

“Coming!” Kari, still in her Ascendant form, exclaims back and comes over the other D-Warriors. Davis and Takato then lead her to another large rock by a large tree and then the Digidestined of Miracles and Tamer of Life go ahead of her about a dozen yards and about a yard to her right.

 

Then Davis tells Kari, “Now, remember to do what Ken did, Kari.”

 

“Right!” Kari replies. Then Kari extends her right hand forward, reach into her inner aura, create her own energy ball, then she focused on the rock, and, with a gasp, let the ball fly out of her palm. However, it missed the rock, hit the base of the tree which destroyed the base, and the tree began to fall on Takato and Davis.

 

“Whoa! Look out!” Matt exclaimed. But Takato and Davis easily jumped out of the tree and came out unscathed by the attack.

 

Cody then exclaims, “Are the both of you all right?!”

 

Davis then says, “Don't worry about it. Takato and I are totally uninjured. Surprised, yes, but not hurt.”

 

Takato then exclaims, “Don't worry! We're just fine!”

 

Kari blushed in total embarrassment, lowered her head, and says, sheepishly, “Well, at-at least, it destroyed something, huh?”

 

Davis laughs nervously for a few seconds and then stutters out, trying to explain in the nicest way, “Well. . . you. . . your aim need a. . . a little work, Kari.”

 

Tai blushes as much as Davis, then sweatdrops while laughing nervously even more than Davis did, and thinks to himself, “[Guess Kari needs more work on that ability.]” And then sighs and wonders what was next. But Tai will wished that he did think that, cause, as if on cue, the group was blasted the same `strange wind' as this morning, but now, it was VERY strong!

 

Mimi was trying to holding on to a hat that she brought with her and exclaims, “What's with this wind?!” And then all six of the humans there that had the D-Warriors' power detected strange life-auras VERY close to them!

 

“[Whoa! What are those strange auras?! They are nearly on top of us!]” Ken exclaims.

 

“[What are these strange energies that I'm sensing?! They seem ancient and mysterious! And. . . they are RIGHT HERE!]” Kari thinks to herself. However, the four more experienced D-Warriors were REALLY NERVOUS of these auras!

 

“[Oh, shit! It's THEM! They're HERE!]” Davis, Jun, Takato, and Takuya think to themselves, very nervously. Then they detected where the auras were coming from. “[There!]” all three High Princes and our Chosen of Spirit thought to themselves and turned to that location. And what they saw totally turned their faces from nervous into one of panic! And then Kari and Ken looked at that same location and gained looks of confusion. And finally, the Digidestined and Digimon looked at that same location and gained mixed reactions.

 

Tai, Sora, and Yolei gained panicky looks on their faces and they thought to themselves, “[Oh no! They're here!]”

 

The rest on the other hand thought, “[Who are they?]” Before them, in the edge of the forest, were four strange people.

 

Two were handsome young men about in their early 20's. One had brown hair and hazel brown eyes, with a simple white shirt, black jeans with a brown belt, and dark grey sneakers.

 

The other one had deep white hair, dark brown eyes, a blue shirt over a pitch black jacket, dark blue jeans, and white sneakers.

 

The other two were young women about 18 to 19 years age. One had long crimson red hair that passes five inches over her shoulder, crystal blues eyes, a silver tube top that cover much of her voluptuous breasts and extend to just over her navel, leaving a bit of mid-drift, a strange white skirt that goes to the bottom of her navel and down to just half-way to her kneecaps, showing much of her slender and sexy legs, and black high-heel shoes.

 

The other one had the same length of hair, but hers was a deep violet color, like Yolei's. She had a tube-top that extended down to just half-way to her navel, leaving more mid-drift than her female companion, with ruby red nails and lips, a unusual silver skirt that extended down to just one quarter of her legs, partial see-through stocking that extended up one inch up the skirt, and flame-designed high-heeled boots.

 

Yolei, pretty impressed by the handsome young men, says, “Wow! Who are the cute boys?” Ken, the other Digidestined, and all the Digimon, especially Hawkmon, Yolei's partner.

 

“Don't trust them Yolei! And stay away from them!” Davis' voice calls out with total seriousness. The others look to their surprise to see Davis, Jun, Takato, and Takuya in defensive martial arts stances and, even, Veemon, Silvermon, and Guilmon were ready to fight them. All of them had super-serious looks on their face, but the others could also see they were also VERY NERVOUS about these `people' too.

 

Jun then exclaims, “Don't trust them! And make sure that you are not seduced by them! They always look like which cause the members of the human opposite sex to be attracted to them!” The others, especially Tai, Sora, and Yolei, were surprised that seemed to know who these `people' were!

 

“What do you mean, Jun?! Do you know them?!” Matt exclaims.

 

Then the women with dark violet hair speaks in the beautiful young woman's voice speaks by saying, “Yes, she knows us very well. Welcome home, our dear Jun Motomiya and Daisuke Motomiya, our dear relatives.”

 

“Relatives?!” the others exclaim in shock of what they called Davis and Jun.

 

“Davis, Jun, what do they mean by calling you relatives?! And how do they know you names?!” Cody asks, totally shocked.

 

“Well, we. . .” Davis tried to say, but couldn't complete his sentence.

 

Because Jun interrupted with, “We know WHAT they and we have encounters with their kind before, so, that's why they know our names! But I think they got us mixed up with some other people of THEIR own kind, we don't what they are talking about!”

 

The other girl with crimson red hair giggles and tells Jun, “Stopping denying your own nature our little Junie. You are OUR own kind or why do you act the way you do? Playing little practical jokes on good people to teach them humility or evil ones to lead them to their own self-destruction. Your enhanced senses, like taste or touch, for example, helping to fulfill those certain `desires' of yours, our dear Jun. Or maybe dressing up and looking very sexy and seductive so you can drive the members of your opposite sex wild to fulfill the desires of your heritage?” Jun expression turned from super-serious into super-nervous! Sweat formed all over her and she became to back off in fear of them! This totally shocked the Digidestined and the Digimon that Jun was totally afraid of something! They could see and tell that Jun was totally afraid of them. She lowers her arms and placed her right hand over her lower chest and heart. And not only that her breathing was VERY rapid! Then the girl continued with, “You are what you are Jun. You and your brother Daisuke or Davis, as you and his friends, call him. Why do you keep denying what you are Jun?”

 

Davis then brawls out to them, “Damn you! All of us had enough grief from your kind already! Get through your thick heads that we are NOT of your kind anytime and any place! Now, what do damn Kitsune what this time?!”

 

“KITSUNE?!” the other Digidestined, expect Tai, Sora, and Yolei, exclaim in shock.

 

“What the hell are Kitsune?!” TK answers.

 

Izzy knew, but before he could answer, Tai says, “Kitsune are the name for the mythical Japanese fox-spirits. They are physically sensual beings that have the nature to love physical sensations and actions. They can turn back and forth from handsome men and beautiful maiden or women into foxes.” Izzy, Sora, Yolei, Davis, Jun, Takato, and Takuya were totally shocked that Tai knew EXACTLY what Kitsune were.

 

“That's exactly right, Tai! But how did you know?!” Izzy exclaims.

 

“[We were wondering the same thing!]” the Children of Love, Faith, Miracles, Spirit, Tamer of Life, and Frontier Destined of Miracles think to themselves.

 

Then the man with the brown hair steps forward, cause the D-Warriors to step back from him, and the man says, “Don't worry, Jun and Daisuke, we're here for another of our relatives.”

 

“[ANOTHER relative?!]” Davis, Jun, Takato, Takuya, Yolei, and Sora thought to themselves.

 

“What are you talking about?!” TK brawls, angrily, at four `people' before him. They did say a word and then, to Cody's, Izzy's, Joe's, TK's, Mimi's, Matt's, Kari's and Ken's amazement, the female `girls' turned into white foxes and the male `boys' turned into black foxes.

 

“Oh my god! Those `people' turned into foxes!” Joe exclaims.

 

“So, that can only mean one thing that they are mythical Japanese fox-spirits, the Kitsune!” Izzy exclaims.

 

“It looks that way! But what do they mean by another relative?!” Cody exclaims. Tai then figured it out, looked behind Kari, and saw that out of mysterious white smoke another white fox appears.

 

“Kari, watch out! Behind you!” Tai exclaims. Davis turns to see the white fox transform into another young woman about 18 years age, that has dark blue hair that extends eight inches past her shoulders, ruby red eyes, and the same colored fingernails and lips, with a just a jacket that's opened to expose some parts of her voluptuous breasts, a short skirt that goes down to one-quarter of her kneecaps, exposing much of slender and sexy legs, and platform shoes with no socks or stockings, exposing her ruby red colored toes. She grabbed Kari by her chest and places some kind of super-natural spell on her.

 

“Hey, let go of me!” Kari calls out and, still in Ascendant form, tries to break with her super-strength, but for some reason, she couldn't.

 

“I placed a spell on you, temporary negating your Ascendant powers, Hikari Kamiya, our dear relative.” the blue haired states.

 

Shocking Kari, our Digidestined of Light exclaims, “Relative?! What are you talking about?! I'm not a Kitsune!”

 

“Really?! Then why do I sense Kitsune blood in your veins and your older brother's veins. Don't worry, we are here to show you the truth, our dear relation.” the blue haired girl states. And then begins to disappear through a smokescreen.

 

“Get your hands off her!” Davis exclaims and charges Kari's captor. But then one of the white foxes, using incredible speed, charges Davis, when the fox gets near him, transforms back into the crimson red-head girl, and kicks Davis the chest with super-strength, sending him plowing into another tree in Kira's training field.

 

“Please don't interfere, it's best for Kari to know her TRUE heritage, like you did before Davis.” the crimson red haired girl states before turning back into a white fox and disappearing into the forest. And at the same time, the blue haired girl disappeared with Kari trapped in her grip.

 

“KARI!” Tai exclaims, but she was already taken. Then Davis gets up and gets back to the others.

 

“What happened to Kari?!” Davis exclaims.

 

“She got taken by that Kitsune, Davis.” Jun states, sadly.

 

Izzy comes up to Tai and asks, “Tai, I don't understand. If those were real-life Kitsune that we saw, why did they take Kari? How did you know about them? And why did they mean by calling Kari `a relative'?”

 

Thinking for a moment and figuring out the solution, Davis asks Tai, hoping that he was wrong, “Tai, please tell me. Tell me that both of you and Kari don't have Kitsune blood in you. Tai, are both you and Kari Kitsunes?!” The others gasped at what Davis was asking.

 

“That's crazy, Davis! Tai, can't. . .” Yolei tries to say, but Tai lowers his head and interrupts Yolei.

 

Tai says, solemnly, “Well, I knew that you, your sister, your new friends, or Izzy would figure it out. You're right, Kari and I do have Kitsune blood inside of us and Kitsune heritages.” All the others gasp in shock and surprise.

 

“Whoa! Tai, you and your sister are those fox-spirits, THOSE Kitsune?!” Matt asks his best friend, not able to believe his ears.

 

Tai sighs and tells everyone, “Well, Kari and I are not fully Kitsune. Our father is a human being, but our mother is a full-blooded Kitsune.”

 

“That would make you and Kari about one-half Kitsune each, Tai.” Cody says, still pretty flabbergasted.

 

Tai nods and says, “That would about be right, Cody.”

 

But then TK, suspicious of Davis and the other D-Warriors and, inside of himself, wanting a chance to argue about Davis, exclaims, while pointing to Davis and Jun, “Okay, but what you Davis and Jun? How did you know about the Kitsune?! And why did they call the both of you `relatives'?!”

 

Davis sighed at started to say, “Well, we. . .”

 

But Jun interrupts with, “We learned about the Kitsune in the past during our journey and you had plenty of `run-ins' with them! But Davis and I don't what they are talking about! But we can't worry about that now! We have to find Kari!”

 

“But what do they want with her?” Mimi asks.

 

Tai answers with, “They're going to be her to Lady Inari, the all-mother of the Kitsune and have her bring out Kari's Kitsune half of her heritage, just like Inari did with me.” And then Tai pulls on his shirt, showing his right shoulder, which had two scars like bite marks on it.

 

Sora gasps and says, “Tai, your shoulder. Those look like bite marks!”

 

“From a . . .a fox, a large one!” Joe exclaims.

 

Tai nods and explains, “Those were the bite marks that Lady Inari gave me when she paid me `a visit' about one year before our second set of adventures in the Digital World. Lady Inari typically looks like a white-haired fox with ten tails and sometimes she has a humanoid body with a fox's head and her ten white tails. That was the form she took when she visited me, bit me in shoulder, and released my Kitsune part of my blood. I don't how or why, though it wasn't easy, by some miracle, I manage to gain full control over my Kitsune passions, desires, etc, so that I don't seem like a Kitsune. But I don't how I gained such total control over my Kitsune side of my blood.” But then shaking his head, Tai exclaims, “But we don't have time to walk down memory lane! We have got to find Kari!”

 

“Tai's right! Let's go! I've managed to get a lock on Kari's life-aura, even though the Kitsune are trying to block it!” Davis adds.

 

“Great! Lead the way, Davis!” Tai exclaims.

 

“Tai, wait!” Izzy exclaims.

 

Tai turns her face to Izzy and brawls at him, “What, Izzy?!”

 

Izzy tries to tell Tai in the nicest way with, “Tai, you're my friend and you know that I and everyone of us in on your side and Davis' too, don't get me wrong. But I got to tell you, Kari's got Kitsune blood in her. So, that means everything that makes a Kitsune a Kitsune is a part of who Kari is Tai. I'm just saying that there might be no way that we can stop Lady Inari from releasing Kari's Kitsune heritage.”

 

Then Tai yells, “You don't understand, Izzy! I managed to gain full control, by some miracle, of my own Kitsune heritage, but it was a HARD STUGGLE for me! You don't understand Izzy because you're fully human! It's hard for you to understand to think that you're human one night and then find out your mother is a fox-spirit, the hard way! I took me MAJOR EFFORTS just to gain even a little control over myself! Do you know how it will be for Kari if Lady Inari releases her Kitsune side of her blood?! What if the Sin of Regret kills her?!”

 

“What's the Sin of Regret?” Mimi asks, worriedly.

 

Izzy answers, “Kitsune are victims of their own feelings. Those emotions could harm or distract them. The Sin of Regret, exactly what it is, can kill a Kitsune outright.” The Digidestined, expect for Tai, and Digimon gasp in totally horror.

 

Gatomon exclaims, not hoping what she heard was true, “You can't mean that Kari will cause her own SELF-DISTRUCTION?!”

 

Davis, solemnly, answers, “That exactly what Izzy saying Gatomon! If Lady Inari brings out Kari's Kitsune heritage, those passions, desires, feelings, and everything else could mix with her `human emotions' totally confusing her so much that Kari might destroy herself! That why we have to find her!”

 

“Damn straight! Let's go!” TK exclaims with a bit of nasty voice. Not needing another word, all the remaining Digidestined, D-Warriors, and all the Digimon partners went into the forest to find Kari, fast.

 

(Meanwhile; Deep in the Forest; A Few Minutes Later)

 

The blue-haired Kitsune in human form gripping Kari in her arms appear in white clouds of mystical smoke where the two male Kitsunes and two female Kitsunes from earlier and in their human forms were waiting. The blue-haired Kitsune in human form the released Kari from her arms and her spell that negated her powers. Kari runs away from the five Kitsunes before her, turns to faced them, and gets ready to fight them.

 

The brown haired male Kitsune asks Kari, curiously, “Why are going to fight us Kari?”

 

Kari asks, very nervous about everything that happened and why they knew her, “How do you know me?”

 

The crimson red haired female Kitsune then tells Kari, “Because, Hikari Kamiya, you are one of our relatives, one of the descendants of Lady Inari.”

 

Kari shakes her head, “No way! It can't be! I can't be one of the Kitsune! It's not possible!”

 

“You means that your older brother, Tai Kamiya, never told you the truth about you and your older brother's mother, Serena Kamiya (A/N: I don't know the real first name of Kari's and Tai's mother, Ms. Kamiya)?” the white haired Kitsune asked Kari.

 

Kari gasped when she heard her mother's name and asks, in a bit of panic, “How-How do you know my mother's first name?” Then realizing what they are saying, Kari shakes her head, not wanting believe it, “No! It can't be! Our mother is one of your kind?! My mother is a Kitsune?!”

 

The dark violet Kitsune nods her head and tells Kari, “That's right, Kari. Believe it or not, your mother is a full blooded Kitsune, however, your father is a full blooded human being, but we don't have a problem with that. You see, we, Kitsune have a need to live in families and work together with others. Lone members of our kind go out and try to make families to continue their bloodline and have legacy in the future before they turn into their Celestial fox forms and go into the heavens. Sometime, Kitsune fall in love with humans and mate with them. Like your mother, Serena, did when she met your human father, David Kamiya (A/N: FYI, I also don't know the name of Tai's and Kari's father, either). She fell in love with your human father, mated with him, and gave birth to you and Tai.” Kari didn't want to believe it, but her new sense told her that they weren't lying to her. So, she listened in.

 

And then the blue haired Kitsune speaks by saying, “And that means you, Kari, and Tai have one-half Kitsune blood in you. But no matter, if you are half or full, Kitsune are still Kitsune, Kari. Tai didn't know anything about us until Lady Inari visited her fellow descendant and release his heritage about four years ago, one year before your second set of adventures, here, in the Digital World.”

 

Kari was totally flabbergasted to hear that her older brother knew about their mother and the both of them and asked, “Tai . . .knew all along?”

 

The white haired male Kitsune speaks, “Yes, he did Kari. But we don't know exactly why he never told you. But the truth is the truth: We are your relatives and you are of Kitsune blood like us, Kari.” Kari wanted to not believe what they are saying, but her ability to sense auras and her power as the Digidestined of Light told her that they weren't lying. It was true! She and Tai are Kitsune, well, half Kitsune anyway. She lowered her arms, showing that she won't fight them and the truth.

 

“That's right, my descendant.” a deep woman's voice called out from behind Kari. Kari turns her head to see a being who looks like Taomon that had ten white tails coming out behind her and a face that looks like Kyubimon's fox-head, but mostly white fur covering it. However, she was kind of transparent and also, right behind her.

 

Kari, quickly realizes who this being was, and tries to say, “You are. . .”

 

But the being interrupted by nodding her head in agreement and answering, “Yes, my dear Kari Kamiya, I am Lady Inari, your Kitsune ancestor and the all-mother of every Kitsune. I don't know why your older brother, Taichi `Tai' Kamiya, hasn't told you the truth, but I think it's time that you realize what you are. And when it is time, you will join your fellow Kitsune in the Celestial plane when you gain your final form.” Lady Inari tells Kari. And then Lady Inari approached Kari. Kari tried to get away, but Lady Inari grabbed on to Kari's right shoulder and bit down on it, connecting to her life-force. Kari then screamed out in agony and pain as Lady Inari fox-like teeth dug into her.

 

(At the Same Time; In a Nearby Area of the Forest)

 

Tai, Davis, and everyone else, human or Digimon was searching the forest for Kari and the Kitsune that took her.

 

“Kari, where are you?!” Davis calls out. But as if on cue, Kari's scream echoed from nearby to the others.

 

“KARI!” Davis, TK, and Tai call out in fear. And then everyone run to where they heard Kari's scream, but when they got there, everyone was shocked to see Lady Inari, totally solid, hovering over Kari's unconscious body. However, Tai, Davis, Jun, Takato, Takuya, Veemon, Silvermon, and Guilmon knew who is. But Sora's and Yolei's nervous face seem to also know who Lady Inari is.

 

“Lady Inari, what did you do to my sister?!” Tai brawls at Lady Inari.

 

Lady Inari replies with, “Tai, my dear descendant, it is good to see you again. What I've done to your younger sister and my descendent is release her heritage that you refused to tell her about. And I see some of my other descendants are with you, my dear Tai.”

 

“[Other descendants?!]” TK thinks suspiciously. And then began to look straight at our Digidestined of Miracles, Spirit, Tamer of Life, and Frontier Destined of Miracles.

 

“[Other descendants?! What's she talking about?]” Matt and the other Digidestined wonder. And then Matt begins to look at Jun and her younger brother and wonder about what happened earlier when the other Kitsune took Kari.

 

Then looking at all of the others, Lady Inari tells them, “Well, all of you must help and aid the descendents within your group, the Digidestined, and especially, young Kari, Tai, and four others who are denying their own heritage. These three are the most important to the Kitsune. They are special to us because they possess qualities that will determine the future of our kind! But not just in our world! But I can't tell you. Not even those of my descendants in your group know what this part of their destiny is.”

 

Then the blue haired female Kitsune in her human form, tells her ancestor and her all-mother, “My mistress, Lady Inari, young Kari's life-force is being drained and, even though her life-force is greater than the rest of humanity and, even all Kitsunes, it is too much strain on your young descendant to hold your form in this plane.”

 

Lady Inari nods in agreement and looking at the others, tells them, “Farewell, till we meet again. Remember, to aid my descendants until everything about their GRAND destinies are fully revealed.” And then Lady Inari disappears, the blue haired Kitsune turns back into white fox and also disappears.

 

“Kari!” Davis, Tai, and Gatomon exclaim and run to her. When Davis picked her lip body up, they were shocked to see her chestnut brown hair had amazing grown four to five inches past her shoulder, her lips turned into a dark ruby red, her body, even under the clothes and though slightly tomboyish, was now, had a excellent slender and sexy feminine shapes with the curves and all, also her breasts, even under the shirt were now more well-developed, actually, quite somewhat voluptuous, thought only slightly less than Jun's were, and there was also the bite mark from Lady Inari on her right shoulder.

 

“Kari, wake up! Kari, please!” Tai begged.

 

“Come on, Kari! Come on!” Davis also begged, easily ignoring the butterflies in his stomach when he saw Kari like this, because more concerned for her well-being. Kari gave a loud groan, showed rapid eye movement, and mouth movement, which were signs of life.

 

“We have to bring here back!” Davis exclaims.

 

“No, duh! What are we waiting for?!” TK exclaims, angrily. Not needing another word, everyone headed back to Kira's training field.

 

(One Hour Later; Back at Kira's Training Area)

 

Kari, who right shoulder was bandaged up, was currently sleeping under a mattress and covered in a blanket, both provided by Kira. Meanwhile, on another side of the field, all the other Digidestined, all the Digimon, and the D-Warriors were gathered around Tai, who was starting to tell the story of the origins of her Kitsune mother.

 

“When my mother was a young Kitsune, she usually traveled the forest and playing practical jokes, being in her Kitsune nature, on the local travels. But then she found my father, a high school teenager at the time, at first she was going to turn into her human form and play a joke on my father, but then something happened, my mother felt attracted to my father. So, instead, my mother followed my father back to his home back to Highton View Terrace, at that time. After a day in her fox form of following my father, she changed into her human form and somehow got into my father's High School. But soon enough, my mother and father fell in love with each other and became sweethearts. However, my father was feeling that there was more to my mother that meets the eye, her Kitsune passions, desires, and feelings, typically wanting/needing physical sensations and actions. My mother knew that she had to tell my father the truth. When she did, she also showed my father her fox state of being a fox-spirit. My mother thought that my father would reject her, but my father accepted for who she is. That caused my mother to fall head over heels for my father, totally, they got married, and she gave birth to the two of us, later. And the rest is history.” Tai explains to his friends and fellow Digidestined. This totally amazed the others and they were all speechless.

 

Then Matt asks Tai, “Tai, why didn't you tell us about you and Kari? Why didn't you tell Kari about her mother and the Kitsune?” Tai wasn't sure how to tell the others, but Davis did.

 

Davis then states, “Tai, until four years ago, thought that was a regular human being, other than being the Digidestined of Courage and then that `train of thought' was shatter in the most `nastiest' of ways. When Tai managed to gain control of his own Kitsune passions, emotions, and desires, he had recovered from an amazing, but also one hack of hard experience. He didn't know how or if to tell Kari. Tai feared that if he told Kari, he wasn't sure how to react. Kari thought, until now, she was human, but now, this. Tai feared that if he told her sooner, she might become confused, scared, ashamed, or anyone of her negative emotions that might her. Or it might have her Kitsune heritage come out in worse way, thought that's very improbable. Tai was afraid that Kari would take her Kitsune heritage the wrong way.” This caused the other Digidestined, expect for TK, to understand why Tai did what he did. Between him and his younger sister and also between Tai and all of them.

 

Matt then comes up to Tai and tells him, “Tai, I understand what you did and why you did it. But Tai, you can't keep secrets between, especially important secrets.”

 

Sora comes up and tells Tai, “That's right, Tai. We're your friends and we always are there for you.” And then Sora thinks to herself, “[And I personally know how you feel and what feelings that you gone through, because I'm just like you, Tai. But, like you, I'm not sure if I should tell the others, yet. But I want. . . I want to tell you, Tai, because. . . because I care for you, Tai.]”

 

“Well, Tai, you are not alone with the experiences that you went through.” Takato says, a bit solemnly.

 

Takuya nods weakly and adds, in the same tone as Takato's, “No kidding, Tai. We would know what you have gone through.” Davis and Jun gasp to themselves, they knew what Takato and Takuya are going to reveal.

 

Tai asks, nicely and curiously, “How would the both of you know what Kari and I went through?” Takato and Takuya didn't say a word to the others. All they did was to reveal their left shoulders and to the shock of others, expect Davis, Jun, Veemon, Silvermon, and Guilmon, revealed that they had the same bite mark scars as Tai!

 

“Those are the same bite marks as on Tai!” Joe exclaims.

 

“That's means that you and Takuya are Kitsunes, too, Takato?” Yolei asks, pretty flabbergasted.

 

Takato nods in agreement and tells the other Digidestined, “That's right. From where I come from, it comes from my father's side of the family. He's a full-blooded male Kitsune. When he was young, he ran away from the rest of his pack or family, depending if you're looking on the perspective of a fox or human, and was found by Ms. Maho, who family have been humans that guard one of the ancient shires to Kitsune for generations, and help teach him the ways of humans. When he came to Shinjuku as young man, he met my mother and fell in love with her. When he wanted to marry and mate with her, my dad told my mother the truth about himself, his heritage, showed her his fox form, and thought that she would reject her, but my mother loved my father the same, married him, and had me. During our journey, my Kitsune heritage was released, but somehow, I gained full control over that part of blood, amazing. No Kitsune can usually gain full control over their Kitsune passions, desires, and emotions, it just a part of who they are, but they can gain control over them. But I had `control slips' with my Kitsune bloodline, however, they are small, nothing to worry about.”

 

Takuya then states, “However, unlike Tai, Kari, and Takato, I'm only one-quarter Kitsune, from my mother's side. My mother got her Kitsune blood from my grandmother, who, too, fell in love with a human. When my grandmother `died', truth is, when my human grandfather died, my grandmother assumed her Celestial Fox form and went to join the other Kitsune in the heavens. However, after my mother met my father, he found out about my mother's Kitsune blood, when Lady Inari, the one of my dimension, paid my mother `a visit' and released her Kitsune part of her heritage. After my mother got control of the part of her that came from her Kitsune blood, she explained my father, everything, but my father cared about my mother just the same and soon married her. However, it was `problematic', at first, since my mother was acting more like other Kitsune than human, for a while. During our journey, a Lady Inari, also released my Kitsune part of my heritage with one heck of bite. I, too, took some time to gain control over emotions and feelings, but I managed to get control over myself.” The others were amazed to hear these stories and they begin to wonder about their teammates, their allies in the other D-Warriors, and the Odaiba Digidestined team members that had been revealed with Kitsune blood.

 

Meanwhile, Kari woke up, shook her head, and felt her hair, which she then realized which was grown much longer!

 

“[What?! My hair! It grown past my shoulders, but how. . .]” Kari thinks to herself, but then she began to realize that she can feel every single strand of her hair, down to the deepest of the cells, and the sensations as her hairs touch her skin. She slowly got up and then she felt the wind, as it touch her skin, down to the deepest sensations of the air and flow of the air, touching every cell of her skin. She could also taste and smell the air, amazingly. Then looking to a tree, she touch the tree and Kari felt the tree down the deepest of it's cells or data, since it was the Digital World, after. It was like that when she touched the ground, grass, and her very own skin. She could feel the deep sensations of it touching the ground, the grass, and her own skin. All of her senses were super-naturally and greatly magnified! But then Kari was beginning to think `naughty' thoughts as they began to fill her head. “[What the?! No! I would never to do that to Davis! I like Daisuke, but I would not do THAT with him. Well, if it Davis. . . No! What am I thinking! And I would never do such a think and play such a joke on TK and the others?! I'm not a damned whore! What in the freaking hell is wrong with me?! Oh my god! I just SWORE! TWICE! What's happening to me?!]” Kari then got on her knees and tries to suppress her new Kitsune passions, desires, and emotions, as well as her own inner desires, some of them which were `created' by her Kitsune heritage. But the more she tried, the more her Kitsune part of her heritage mixed her emotions and feelings.

 

Gatomon then looks to see Kari, awake, but on her knees and clutching her head. She then exclaims to the others, “Kari's awake! But something is wrong with her!” The others looked to see what Kari was doing. TK immediately ran over to her, followed by all the others.

 

TK touched her left shoulder and asks, worriedly, “Kari, are you all right?” Kari gasped and turned around to look at TK.

 

But then her expression turned to one of anger and she yelled at TK, “Get away from me, bastard!” And then she hit TK in the chest with incredible strength, which sent him flying through the air. Everyone else, who saw this happen, gasped in horror.

 

“TK!” Matt called out in total fear for his brother.

 

“Kari, no!” Davis exclaims and using his super-speed, caught TK in mid-air before he could get hurt hitting something. When he lowered TK to the ground, Davis asks, concerned, “You, okay, TK?”

 

“Just fine, Davis. Thanks.” TK says, but too sincerely. When Davis went to face Kari, TK growls to himself, “[Why did I have to be saved by HIM?!]” Kari saw that the others were in front of her. Her mind and emotions totally confused, Kari gets up, very scared and her expression was showing it. She began to back up away from them.

 

Tai tries to calm his sister down by telling her, “Kari, please calm down! You know that we are not going to hurt you! We want to help! Please, let us help!” And Tai started to approach Kari.

 

But Kari then jumps back and yells, “Stay away!” And then to the amazement and, yet, shock of the others, Kari transformed into a beautiful white fox with four silver tails. Now, in her fox state, Kari then jumps into a tree and disappears into the forest.

 

“Kari, NO!” Tai and Davis exclaim. But it was too late, Kari had ran away from the others.

 

“We have to go after her!” Tai exclaims in panic.

 

Davis then grabs Tai by the shoulders, shakes him, and tells him, “Tai, calm down! We will go after her and get her back! I promise Tai! No matter what, none of us, especially me, will get Kari back and help her!”

 

“That's right, Tai!” Sora exclaims to Tai. Tai looks at Sora and she continues, “Kari has been like a younger sister to me. And for hers and your sake, Tai, I promise to help get her back! To you and to all of us! Kari is Digidestined and the Digidestined is like a family and we will always be there for each other!” All the other Digidestined, Digimon, and the D-Warrior gave their nods of approval, even TK.

 

Tai smiles at the others and tells them, “Thank you. All of you.”

 

“It's no problem, Tai.” Takato says.

 

“That's right!” Takuya adds.

 

Davis then takes command and orders, “Okay, we are going to split up into teams! Each team must have one of us, four, most experienced D-Warriors cause, Ken, sorry, but you not ready to go into D-Warrior type combat.”

 

Ken nods in agreement, knowing that Davis is right, and states, “Don't worry, Davis. I know that I'm still in training and I know don't have the power, yet, to go head to head with Eris.”

 

Davis nods and then adds with, “And neither is Kari. Knowing Eris, she already told her master about you and Kari and Eris' master obviously already ordered the both of you to be destroyed before the two of you can be trained by the rest of us D-Warriors at any chance possible. We got to get Kari back as fast as possible. Okay, Jun and Silvermon will take TK, Matt, Gabumon, and Patamon with them. Takato and Guilmon will take Mimi, Joe, Cody, and their partners with them. Takuya will take Ken, Izzy, Yolei, and their Digimon partners with them. And finally, Tai, Sora, Agumon, and Biyomon will be with me and Veemon. Let's move out!”

 

“Right!” all the other Digidestined, expect TK, all the Digimon, and D-Warriors exclaim. TK growled in doing this, but, if it is to help Kari, he is willing to follow Davis' orders, for the moment. And then all, but Yolei's, Cody's, TK's, and Ken's, the remaining Digidestined's crests and all the Digidestined's digivice began to glow.

“Guilmon Matrix Digivolve to. . . WarGrowlmon!”

 

After all their digivolutions were complete, the Digidestined went on to the Digimon they can ride, while the D-Warriors, including Ken, used their own abilities to fly into the air.

 

“All everyone, move out!” Davis and Tai exclaimed and everyone left to find Kari. While Gatomon, waited with worry and without Kari, couldn't digivolve, for them to return with her partner.

 

(Back at Eris' Base; At the Same Time)

 

Meanwhile, Eris sense Kari's leaving the others and knew what this meant.

 

With a wide smile, she says to herself, evilly and lowly, “It's time.” Then to her army of Heartless and Tyrannodrones, she proclaims, “It is time, my loyal servants! We must find and destroy the Digidestined of Light, Hikari Kamiya, while her Kitsune heritage leaves her confused and scared! We can't let her gain the full extent of her D-Warrior powers! Now, it is time to destroy those bastards and bitch that would defy us and our masters will!” And then in a cloud of dark shadows disappears.

 

(One Hour Later; With Jun's Team)

 

We find Jun, Taomon, Matt, MetalGarurumon, and TK, on Pegasusmon, searching in the forest area that they were in.

 

“Kari! Kari, where are you?! We just want to help you!” Jun calls out.

 

“Kari, please come out! Kari!” TK calls out.

 

“Kari!” Matt calls out. And then dark clouds appear over the ground and then a group of Heartless, known as shadows, comes up from the shadows of the ground.

 

“Whoa! What are they?!” Matt exclaims.

 

“I don't know, but I sense a great darkness within them.” Pegasusmon exclaims.

 

“They're called Heartless, beings of the darkness with no hearts. They only mission is destroy ever world in their own dimension and take the hearts of every living being turn cold by taking their hearts. Davis, myself, and our partner with our group encountered them before.

 

“Oh, great!” Matt groans. And with evil laughter, you know who but Eris shows up.

 

“Eris, what do you want?! We don't have time for you!” Jun yells, angrily at Eris.

 

“Well, make time! Since my mission is destroy the new D-Warrior, Hikari Kamiya, before she gain full control of her powers!”

 

TK brawls out, “If you lay one hand on Kari, I will. . .”

 

Eris, then exclaims, with great amusement, “Or you will what? Compared to the D-Warriors and me, you're nothing! All of us could easily wipe you out with a thought!” TK growls, knowing that this was true.

 

“Not while I'm around!” Jun exclaims. Then takes off her necklace with the staff and held it in her hands. Then she chanted, “Key of the Star, with powers burning bright, reveal the staff, and shine your light! Release!” And then the staff, to the amazement of Matt, TK, and their Digimon turned into a full grown staff with a star on the top. Then taking out two Clow Cards, named Fire and Windy, she hit the two cards with the star part of the staff and yelled out, “Windy and Fiery! Release and Dispel! Create a Firestorm to destroy the Heartless!” The white fairy and crimson red fairy of the Windy and Fire cards came out and combined their powers into a firestorm which headed for Eris and the Heartless.

 

“Oh, shit!” Eris exclaimed before she was engulfed by the firestorm with the Heartless, which were destroyed instantly. Then Eris leapt out of the firestorm, her bottom on fire, and screaming in pain.

 

After Eris put the fire on her bottom, Jun smirk and teased, “Fired up enough for you, Eris, darling?!”

 

Eris growled at Jun and brawls out, “Your younger bastard of a High Prince of brother and the those other two High Princes won't be so lucky!” And then she flies off into the distance.

 

“We better keep looking for Kari! And don't worry about my brother and the others, they can handle themselves, they are D-Warriors after all.” Jun tells the members of her search party.

 

“Right!” Matt, MetalGarurumon, and Pegasusmon exclaim.

 

However, TK grumbles, “[Yeah, don't remind us!]”

 

And then Jun calls out, “Windy and Fiery! Return to your powers confined! Windy and Fiery!” And then the white and crimson red fairies of these two Clow Cards return to their cards and Jun puts back into Clow Card pouch.

 

(Several Minutes Later; With Takuya's Group at Another Part of the Forest)

 

Takuya and his group were searching for Kari in this area of the forest when Eris appeared in front of them with a group of a dozen Heartless known as Fat Bandits.

 

“Whoa! What are they?!” Yolei asks.

 

“They're called Heartless, beings of darkness with no hearts. I'll explain later after I get rid of them and we find Kari!” Takuya exclaims.

 

Eris smirks and exclaims, confidently, “And how you are going to do that?!” Takuya smirks, transforms into an Ascendant, transcends all the way to Ascendant 3, cups his hands in front of him, and create a big blue ball of energy.

 

“Crud.” Eris simply comments, knowing what is going to happen next.

 

“BIG BANG KA-ME-HA-ME-HA!” Takuya cries out, as he fires a giant energy beam from the ball.

 

“I get all of you, next time!” Eris scream out before she teleports before Takuya's attack hits, destroying all the Fat Bandits in one attack. When the dust cleared, the whole area was flattened, and the Heartless were obliterated.

 

“Wow.” Ken states, awestruck by the power of Takuya's attack.

 

“Amazing.” Izzy adds, also awestruck by Takuya's power. The Digimon, however, couldn't say a word, they were totally speechless.

 

Then Takuya returns to his normal state and states, quite loudly, “We can't stop! We have to find Kari before Eris does!”

 

“Right!” the remaining members of Takuya's search party call out and continued their search, the Digimon in the air and the humans on the ground.

 

(A Few More Minutes Later; With Takato's Search Party)

 

Now, we find Takato's group in another part of the forest, but then get ambushed by the attack force of Tyrannodrones that Eris sent out. Eris was up in the air, watching with delight.

 

“Gross! What are those?!” Mimi exclaims.

 

“They're called Tyrannodrones. Robot androids that we're combined with dinosaur DNA.”

 

Joe, surprised by Takato's answer, states, “What?! Robots that are like ancient dinosaurs?!”

 

Takato answers Joe, “You can say that.” And then Takato draws his Tetsusaiga he got from Inuyasha. And when Takato draws it out, it turns into it's true form.

 

Cody, who was awestruck by the sword like his partner, the other Digidestined in this group, and their partners, asks Takato, “What kind of sword is that?”

 

Takato, with a smile on his face, answers, “It's called the Tetsusaiga, `The Fang'.”

 

“Good name, since it looks like a fang from something big.” Mimi comments.

 

“Actually, this is sword is the fang of a giant demon that cared for a mortal woman, but I explain later and show Tetsaiga special attack.” Takato says. Then the Tetsusaiga began to have winds surround it. Takato jumps into the air, swings the Tetsusaiga in mid-air towards the Tyrannodrones, and yells out, “Wind Scar!” And the attack that destroyed one hundred demons with one swings activates, and obliterates all the Tyrannodrones.

 

When Takato put the Tetsusaiga away, Cody, who was flabbergasted at the power of Tetsaiga, “Tell me where I can one of those.”

 

Takato tells Cody, “Sorry, Cody. There is only one like it in any world.”

 

Eris then fumes, flies away from the others, and thinks, “[Blast them! Okay, then, I'll take out Prince Daisuke, MYSELF, ONCE AND FOR ALL!]”

 

(Now, to Davis' Team; Ten Minutes Afterward)

 

We find Davis flying with Cyberdramon by his side, Garudamon, holding Tai and Sora in one hand, and WarGreymon, flying beside Sora's Ultimate partner, looking in the air for any sign of Kari.

 

“Find any sign of Kari, Cyberdramon? What about you, WarGreymon?” Davis asks the two Digimon.

 

“Sorry, Davis.” Cyberdramon says in solemn tone.

 

“Nothing.” WarGreymon adds in the same tone.

 

“Don't give up hope, everyone! If we won't find Kari, then I know that one of the other teams will! Just don't give up! If either of you see Kari, anywhere, in either form, tell me or Tai, got it?” Davis asks, trying encourage hope and faith.

 

“Got it!” Cyberdramon and WarGreymon exclaim in reply.

 

Meanwhile, Tai, with Sora on Garudamon, says, in a worried and guilty tone of voice, “It's all my fault, Sora. I should have told Kari, but I was too stupid to tell her the truth.”

 

Sora then puts her right hand on Tai's shoulder and when Tai looks into her kind and comforting eyes, the Digidestined of Love tells the bearer of Courage, encouragingly, “Tai, it's not your fault. You didn't know what to say or how Kari will react. I know how you feel.” Then Sora thinks to herself, “[In more way than one, Tai. I know EXACTLY how Kari must feel, because I went through the SAME THING at her age. Not my best memories.]”

 

Davis then adds to Sora's encouraging statements with, “Sora's right, Tai. Don't kick yourself like that! And don't worry, we will find Kari!” And Davis thinks to himself, “[And that's a promise! I know how Kari must be feelings and know the feelings about how Tai couldn't tell her. That's because Jun and I are EXACTLY like Tai and Kari. Poor Kari and poor Tai. Don't worry, I help and get you back! I get your through this, I promise! And no matter what, I will keep that promise!]”

 

Then Eris' voice booms out, “You will find Kari. . . when she is in a million pieces!” When they look to the source of the voice, Eris swoops in and slams Davis in chest, sending flying into the ground.

 

“Davis!” Cyberdramon, Tai, and Sora exclaim in shock. Eris cackles at her surprise of attack and how she knocked down the Digidestined of Miracles.

 

Tai growls at Eris and brawls out, “You know, I now see why you can get on people's nerves! We don't have time for you!”

 

“I AGREE!” Davis' voice booms from the ground. When Eris looks the ground, a powerful force sends dirt and debris into the air and then Davis, using his super-speed in his Ascendant 3 form, gets behind Eris, and gives her a hammer-blow to the neck, plowing her into the ground. Turning to Tai and Sora, Davis asks, “Tai, Sora, you don't mind WarGreymon and Garudamon help out?”

 

“Glad to!” was the response from the two named Digimon.

 

“Terra Force!” WarGreymon cries out, as gathers a large orange energy orb and launches at Eris.

 

“Wing Blade!” Garudamon calls out, firing a fiery bird from her wings that heads towards Eris.

 

“Desolation Claw!” Cyberdramon yells out, firing silver beams of light at Eris. Eris looks to see the three attacks slam into her causing a large explosion. When the dust cleared, a slightly burned and angered Eris looks to see our Digidestined of Miracles having a large blue orb in front of his cupped hands.

 

Eris, knowing what this means, sweatdrops and only says, “Oh, damn.”

 

“BIG BANG KAMEHAMEHA!” Davis roars out and fires a powerful blue energy beam at Eris, which blasts her and the surrounding aura, causing Eris to scream out in pain. Davis then looks to the others and states, “Let's go! We don't have time for her!”

 

“Gotcha!” the rest of Davis' group exclaims and all of them fly off into the distance. Back at where Eris was, the aura around her was totally flattered, and when the smoke, dust, and dirt cleared, Eris came out a large crater, badly burned and bleeding from multiple cut all over her.

 

Eris growls, “I get you next time, Motomiya. You and everyone you hold dear will pay for this.” And then she thinks, “[I EXTREMELY HATE THAT PRINCE DAISUKE!]” And then disappears back to her base to recuperate.

 

(One Hour Later; With Davis' Group Yet in Another Part of the Deep Forest)

 

We find Davis, back to his normal state, the three Digimon, who are back to being Rookies, Tai, and Sora still looking for Kari.

 

“Kari! Kari, where are you?!” Sora yells out.

 

“Kari! Kari!” Tai calls out.

 

“Kari! Kari, please answer! We're trying to help you!” Davis calls out.

 

“Kari! Kari!” all three Digimon call out into the forest, but no response. But then Tai looks to his right to see none other than Kari, walking slowly in the forest, totally confused and afraid.

 

“Kari!” Tai exclaims and runs to his sister. The others looks and saw Kari where Tai saw here.

 

“It's Kari!” Veemon and Sora exclaims.

 

“Come on!” Davis exclaims and then the others run after Tai. “Tai, wait!” Sora and Davis call out to the Digidestined of Courage, but he didn't listen.

 

Tai, running up to Kari, calls out to her, “Kari! Kari, wait!” Kari turns to look at Tai, but instead of being happy to see her brother, she gained an enraged look.

 

She then yells at Tai, angrily, “Stay away from me, Tai!” And then Kari punches the ground, cracking the ground, immensely, and sending shockwaves towards Tai. Kari's older brother had to stop in his tracks not to hit by the shockwaves.

 

Tai tells Kari, “Kari, please! Calm down! I'm only trying to help you!”

 

Kari then brawls at her older brother, angrily, “Like you helped me by keeping the truth about our mother being a Kitsune from me?! Or like keeping the fact that you knew about this for FOUR YEARS FROM ME?!”

 

“Kari, please calm down!” Davis' voice calls out to Kari. Davis, Veemon, Biyomon, Agumon, and Sora get beside Tai and comforted Kari. Kari then became really nervous when she saw Davis.

 

“D-D-Dai-kun?” Kari stutters in a nervous fashion.

 

Davis nods and tells Kari, “Yes, it's me. I know that you're scared and confused. Please Kari, come back to us.” And then Davis takes a step forward, but this causes Kari to back away in fear.

 

“Davis, please don't come near me! Please stay away!” Kari yells out in fear and then she transforms back in her white fox form with her four silver tails.

 

But before Kari, in transformed fox state, leaves Davis calls out, begging Kari, “Kari, please wait! Please, I beg you, listen to me!” This manages to through to Kari and she, with fox eyes, looks and listens to Davis. “Kari, I know that you must be angry at Tai for not telling about your mother's and you own Kitsune heritage earlier. But Kari, how would you have reacted if Tai told you the truth sooner? It would have farfetched to you! And after going through what he did, would have Tai, in his heart, been able to tell you, his own younger sister, about going through this. You have to understand that Tai is truly sorry not for telling you, but he can help you! He knows what you are going through! Please Kari, come back and let us help you. For Tai, for Gatomon, for the others, and for me. Trust your new sense, they will help you, you know we want to help.” This gets through to Kari, as tears were forming her fox-eyes. But then the brown hair Kitsune in human form, grabs Sora from the behind, and restrains her.

 

“Sora!” Tai exclaims, but before he could help her, the crimson red haired female Kitsune in human form grabs him from behind.

 

“Tai! Sora!” Davis exclaims and prepares to help, but then a female in her fox form jumps from the tree and bites deep in Davis' left shoulder, causing Davis to scream out in pain and some blood to flow out.

 

“You know that it is the destiny of all Kitsune to join our other relatives in the Celestial plane when it's there time. All three of you, of all `people', should know that!” the crimson red haired Kitsune exclaims.

 

“Man, I hate with you, Kitsune! Your supernatural abilities and fox-like cunning make my spirit energy usual and vulnerable, like any normal human, to even your simply fox bites! But I say that you, Kitsune, are full of it! We may have destinies chosen for us, but we are the only ones who can decided to take them! We are the ones who decided our own fates!” Davis exclaims.

 

“It is Kari's destiny to join us and you will not stop her!” the male Kitsune exclaims.

 

But then Kari, seeing who she cares about in pain, transforms back to her human form, roars out as becomes an Ascendant and then, amazing, becomes a surpassed Ascendant, an Ascendant 2, and roars out, “Leave them alone! I will chose my own destiny! And I chose to stay with them!” And then creates a wind that blows the three Kitsunes away. Seeing that they will have to wait, they disappear into the woods.

 

Davis dropped to one knee and says to Kari, “I knew that you will come back to us, Kari.”

 

Kari then runs up to Davis, Sora, Tai, and their Digimon, recovered from the shock of the attack, and states, “I'm so sorry! Can you ever forgive me?!”

 

Tai smiles and tells his sister, “I know, Kari. Don't worry about it.”

 

Davis taking a Senzu beans from pouch he had in his backpack, eating it, and healing his injury adds, “Tai's right. Don't worry, we can help with this. Now, we have to get back to the others and tell them that you are all right.”

 

“Right!” Kari exclaims, but then, not able to help herself, she kisses Davis on the left cheek. To Davis', Tai's, Sora's, and all the other Digimon's surprises.

 

Davis stutters for a moment with a deep red blush on his face, but then regains his composer and tells Kari, however still with the blush on his face, “Kari, please try-try to control yourself.”

 

Kari giggles at this a bit and then blushing herself, states, “Sorry, I couldn't help myself.”

 

Davis nods, but thinks to himself, “[My sister and I would know how you feel, Kari. But she is still afraid and embarrassed to admit the truth to the others that she and I are EXACTLY like you and Tai, Kari. But I wondered when she will tell the truth about me and herself.]”

 

Next time in 02 World Saga, Episode 14: The Bond of Miraculous Light!: The D-Warriors continue their training after the `incident' with the Kitsune and Kari, but Eris doesn't give them a break when she attack with a device that temporary negates Davis' and Jun's ability to become Ascendants! Worse, she knocks Kari into the roughs water where she and Ken are being trained and Davis dives in after her, even though the majority of is power is gone! While Jun breaks free from the `Ascendant Negation Devices' powers early. Davis and Kari find themselves trapped in a cave, all alone, and Davis is still, for the most part, powerless without his Ascendant powers! And with Kari still in training, they don't risk busting out, know nothing about the cave. So, they decide to talk and sooner, more revelations about the feelings `new Davis' and his journey are revealed! But then in a amazing twist, Davis and Kari bond in way not thought possible!

 

Gallantmon of the Hazard: Please tell me that my representation of the Kitsune has accuracy to the myth of the fox spirits?! Please read and review! Tell me what you think of this chapter!
