I'm back with the sixth chapter of this story and you didn't expect me to make it that Naruto's mother is actually alive and well, did you? There are going to be tons more surprises and you will get to see the mysterious beings that aren't `dark' up close and personal for the first time for this chapter in which they propose something radically if you read the preview in the last chapter everyone. Don't expect the action to stop in this chapter because there is more to come as promised in the preview of the last chapter!

 

Before I start I would like to give credit to Time-warlock for the inspiration of the idea, how the rings get into Naruto's `realm', Naruto and Itachi getting certain Lantern Power Rings, and other material that I didn't mention in this commentary.

 

Also, I would like to say that my information may not be perfect, so, expect plenty of OOC (out of character) attitudes, situations, and whatnot by the characters in this story.

Spectrum Wars: Ninja Lanterns

 

Chapter 6: Continuing Cycle: Sasuke and Naruto

 

Right now, we find Ganthet, Arisia, Kilowog, members of the Star Sapphires and Zamaron including Queen Apa'po, Superman, Supergirl, Saint Walker of the Blue Lantern Corps, along our four Green Lantern, Carol Farris, and much of the Hidden Leaf Village looking Kushina Uzumaki, Naruto's supposed dead mother, who is revealed to be alive and well and a new type of Lantern known as a Cosmos Lantern, who are filled with all the `light energies' of the `emotional light spectrum'.

 

Ino asks Kakashi, “Kakashi-sensei, are you sure that's Naruto's mother?”

 

Kakashi says, with a serious tone, “There is only one Kushina Uzumaki, the Red Whirlpool of the Leaf Village and last member of the Uzumaki clan, who are direct descendants of the Sage of the Six Paths, the one that created ninjutsu and the very first ninja of our world, and I know that woman anywhere. Without a doubt, that's her.”

 

Kushina says, with a sly smile, “Kakashi, you have really grown-up since I last saw you!”

 

Tsunade tells Kushina, amazed, “Kushina-sama, how are you alive? I thought that you died due to complications in Naruto's birth!”

 

Kushina says, with a serious tone, “That's what Danzo and others wanted you to think. I would have survived long enough for doctors to get to me, but Danzo, not wanting such and wanting my son under his control, didn't want me alive and around. He tried to make sure of that and he nearly succeed until my new `bosses' saved me and revived me. It took awhile with putting in suspended animation for sometime in order to help me heal. However, even after they healed me, I couldn't come back since THEY told that I couldn't come back until the time was right.”

 

Shizune asks, curiously, “Who are THEY, Kushina-sama?”

 

Kushina says, with a smile, “One minute, Shizune-chan.” Kushina turns to the Zamaron, a few of them glaring at her, and she asks, with a sly smirk, “What are you looking at?”

 

One of the Zamaron warriors tells Kushina, with a serious tone, “You dare to mock us after what you did Kushina?”

 

Kushina says, with a serious tone, “You were the ones that tried to make your queen by trying to have that Star Sapphire gem of yours try to `possess' me!” Kushina asks, with a sly smirk, “Are you mad that I kicked your butts all over your home galaxy?”

 

The Zamaron warrior yells out, angrily, “You dare to insult us after you spurred us?” The Zamaron warrior prepares to move to attack Kushina, but like a flash of light, she charges the Zamaron warrior and attacks the Zamaron warrior with incredible speed and quick moves with her samurai sword, Kushina appears behind the Zamaron warrior and when she puts her sword back into its sheath, the Zamaron warrior collapses in a heap.

 

A lot of people are amazed and awe-struck especially on Guy Gander causing him to yell out, “Holy smokes, everyone! She took out one of those Zamaron warriors in a split-second!”

 

Ganthet tells Kushina, “It is interesting to see after so much time, Kushina.”

 

Kushina says, with a curious tone, “You do a bit different Ganthet from the last time that we met.”

 

John asks Ganthet, curiously, “You know each other?”

 

Ganthet says, with a nod, “Indeed, I do John Stewart. And I do know of the people that she `works' for. I suspected that THEY were behind much of this including Naruto `acquiring' of Ion.”

 

A voice calls out, with a sly tone, “You were always the most perspective of the Guardians, Ganthet.” Everyone looks to see a group of cloaked figures walk towards them and when they removed their hoods, they see them to look very much human expect they have elf-like ears, the skin was like that they had an excellent tan in the sun, and they had mysterious and alien icy-blue and white eyes through they are full of emotion and wisdom at the same time. This group also had various hairstyle, hair colors, and they were a mixture of males and females.

 

The Zamaron gasps in shock and Queen Apa'po says, in rare surprise, “The Overseers!”

 

Ganthet says, with a smile, “When it comes to this `Spectrum War', I knew that you would get involved.”

 

One Overseer, a female one with blue hair that goes mid-waist, says, with a smile, “It is nice to see you, too, Ganthet.”

 

Kilowog asks, curiously, “Who are these guys?”

 

Ganthet replies, with a plain tone, “They are the watchers and the maintainers of the balance of all realities since the day of time. They had existed as long as I have, Kilowog. They are the Overseers, watchers and protectors of all realities.”

 

Another Overseer, a male with spiky brown hair, says, with a plain tone, “We are ones that only observe and help maintain balance as well as make way for the true protectors of all realities. My name is Oyther.”

 

The female Overseer with blue hair says, with a smile, “I'm Delina.”

 

The third Overseer, a female one with lime green hair that goes down to her ankles behind her back, says, glaring at the Zamarons, “We do not like it when you attacked one of our allies and warriors, Queen Apa'po.”

 

Kushina tells this Overseer, with a smile, “I can take care of myself, Alinna.”

 

Hal notices the Zamarons' worried look and he comments, “They look afraid of them.”

 

Ganthet says, with a plain tone, “As they should since they are only watchers of the multi-verse, they are greater in strength than the Guardians or Zamarons.”

 

Guy yells out, stunned, “You mean there are people stronger than you munchkins?!”

 

Oyther says, with a smile, “In life, there is no one with the `greatest strength' because there is always someone stronger than they are, Guy Gardner.”

 

John asks, plainly, “You know all about us?”

 

Delina says, with a smile, “We have been observing you and we have to say that we weren't pleased at how the Guardians reacted to the `Blackest Night'. We may have been forced to come in, but Ganthet chose well to impart the knowledge of `Blackest Night' well.”

 

Alinna says, with a plain tone, “But we knew that even through you might survive `Blackest Night', it will be just a prelude to what's to come and we knew we had to make sure that things would come together for the enemy that threatened countless realities would be stopped.”

 

Hal asks, curiously, “An enemy?”

 

Alinna says, with a plain tone, “One that has been causing chaos in the shadows and one that holds energies that are the opposite held by the Lantern Corps, Hal Jordan.”

 

Kyle asks, curiously, “Energies that opposite held by the Lantern Corps?”

 

Oyther says, with a plain tone, “The Lantern Corps right now hold the light of emotions, but they hold the darkness and they are far stronger than the Black Lanterns.”

 

Guy yells out, perplexed, “Stronger than the Black Lanterns? We had tons of problems with Scar and Black Hand with their undead legions and these guys have strength greater than them?!”

 

Delina says, with a plain tone, “That's about the short end of it, Guy Gardner.”

 

John says, with a serious tone, “With the story with you `Overseers'? You seem to be a lot different from Oans and Zamarons.”

 

Oyther says, with a serious tone, “We weren't different from them a long time ago, my friend. We were a lot like them, but soon enough, we developed our own philosophy that emphasizes balance between body and mind as well as logical and emotions. Life is balance and in order to protect life, we needed to be much like the life that we observe and life is emotions. We don't let our emotions rule us, but unlike the Oans, we don't get rid of emotions since they are vital. We need to think and feel if we are able to do our duties, my friend.”

 

Delina says, with a smile, “We make sure that we are different from each other and we are able to work together as one while able to work individual everyone. We strive to make sure that we have balance in body and mind, but we learn that perfection is impossible through we consider `impossible' the only thing impossible.”

 

Hal says, plainly, “You seem very much like us, Overseers.”

 

Alinna says, with a nod, “We believe that humans and humanoid life-forces are the best representation of life through we strike to make ourselves better, but remembering that we are not superior and there are always beings that are always better.”

 

Oyther says, with a serious tone, “However, we have much business to discuss and since Sodam is the only Guardian of the Green Lantern Corps, we thought it best that we bring representatives of Green Lantern Corps. And since the Blue Lantern Corps has two, we should talk to one of them directly. The Indigo Tribe is quite hard to get to and the Star Sapphires and Zamarons are right here. Lady Tsunade, may we have this discussion in your council chambers.”

 

Tsunade says, with a nod, “I think that it is best and Naruto and I may have questions for you.” Tsunade says, glaring seriously at the Zamarons, “And I have a few questions for the Zamarons.”

Queen Apa'po says, with a smile, “I believe that you do and we did wish to meet young Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze.”

 

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “I bet that you do, your majesty.” Queen Apa'po and Zamaron took notice of Naruto's tone and Hal and Carol look at each other.

 

Supergirl asks Superman, curiously, “Clark, isn't that Star Sapphire…?”

 

Superman tells Supergirl, with a whisper, “Not a good idea to say that name in front of Hal right now, Kara.”

 

(Within the Leaf Ninja Council; Sometime soon afterwards)

 

Inside of the Leaf Ninja Council Chambers, we find every single person from the DC universe with Naruto, Tsunade, Kakashi, Shizune, Sakura, Hinata, Ino, Kiba, Shino, Tenten, Lee, Neji, Shikamaru, and Choji along with Ino's, Shikamaru's, and Choji's fathers assembled within the room with Sakura and Hinata standing by Queen Apa'po and their fellow Star Sapphires. In the center of the council chambers, we find the Overseers, who are explaining about why they have assembled members of the Green and Blue Lantern Corps with the Star Sapphire Corps. However, what they propose isn't very popular with certain people in the room.

 

Guy yells out, shocked and annoyed, “Are you just plain nuts?!”

 

John asks, seriously, “You want us to ally ourselves with the Indigo Tribe AND Star Sapphire Corps?!”

 

Alinna says, with a serious tone, “This threat is far more deadly than the Black Lanterns ever will, Lantern John Stewart. In order to combat it, the willpower light must align itself with the lights of the positive aspect of the `emotional light spectrum'.”

 

Kiba asks, curiously, “Positive aspect?”

 

Shino says, with a plain tone, “As we have learned from the information from the Green Lanterns and Naruto's ring, there are seven lights, which are seven different colored lights, and they are rage, green, fear, willpower, hope, compassion, and love. Willpower is neutral while rage, greed, and fear are the `negative aspect' since they are mainly used for negative purposes with hope, compassion, and love is considered `positive aspect' since they are emotions used in positive manners, Kiba.”

 

Delina says, with a nod, “Shino is correct, everyone. And that's why the Green Lantern Corps must be allied with the Blue Lanterns, Indigo Tribe, and Star Sapphires. It will form a strong `bond' that shine through the darkness, everyone.”

 

Ganthet says, with a nod, “I can see the wisdom of your plan, Overseer Delina. However, you do know well the history of the Green Lantern Corps and the Guardians of the Universe with the Zamarons and Star Sapphires. Green Lantern Hal Jordan's experiences with Zamaron and the Star Sapphires weren't so `pleasant', Overseer Delina.”

 

Queen Apa'po says, with a plain tone, “It is true that the Green Lantern Corps aren't run by those Guardians that rid themselves of emotion useless and whose mistakes led to `Blackest Night' in the first place, but we are not sure the Green Lantern Corps will learn from those mistakes through currently run by the members of the Corps themselves.”

 

Tenten asks, curiously, “They really don't have a good history with each other, do they?”

 

Kushina says, with a nod, “I do, Tenten-san. I should know better than anyone when they tried to put that parasite Star Sapphire gem on me to make me their queen without my permission.”

 

One of the Zamaron warriors tells Kushina, with a sneer, “We were giving you a great gift, Kushina!”

 

Kushina says, with a serious tone, “Trust me if I didn't like your `gift', Zamaron! And needless to say, I don't think that you developed your brains enough to match your physical strength Zamaron!”

 

Another Zamaron warrior yells out, angrily, “How dare you, Outsider?!”

 

Naruto creates a whistle with his Ion powers and yells out, strongly, “Okay, everyone, time out!” Naruto blows on the whistle loud enough to make everyone cover their eyes and when Naruto stops, he says, seriously, “This is our Leaf Village council and we are here to discuss things! If you won't be peaceful, then I will make sure everyone is! Believe it, everyone!”

 

Tsunade says, with a serious tone, “And I will order Naruto to do so, everyone! Even through he has become part of the Green Lantern and Blue Lantern Corps, he is a member of this village first and I know that Naruto will make sure to keep the peace in this village.”

 

Delina tells Tsunade, with a plain tone, “Agreed, Lady Tsunade. However, Naruto has a far greater destiny beyond this village or either universe that you know of right now everyone.”

 

Tsunade asks, curiously, “What do you mean?”

 

Shino says, with a plain tone, “Since Naruto's mother is part of these `Cosmos Lanterns', I believe that Naruto has a far greater purpose and there is a reasoning for him able to handle two rings from two different Lantern Corps since they are empowered by two different emotions.”

 

Alinna says, with a nod, “That's correct, Shino. In fact, Naruto has the ability to weld even the energy of the Indigo Lanterns as well. Kushina is a rare one that can be a `Cosmos Lantern' since we weld the strength and light of all emotions in Life itself. Only one who has experienced and is in tune with the emotions of Life can be a Cosmos Lantern, a welder of `Life's Light'.”

 

Guy asks, plainly, “I'm guessing that our new torchbearer fits the bill?”

 

Oyther replies, shaking his head, “He isn't just a Cosmos Lantern. He is a Guardian of the Multi-verse and one of the leaders of the Cosmos Lanterns.”

 

There are plenty of gasps and plenty of the people in the room especially Naruto yell out in unison, “WHAT?!”

 

John asks, seriously, “He is a Guardian?! This kid?!”

 

Alinna says, with a plain tone, “Multi-verse Guardians can only be mortals chosen by the energies of the emotional light spectrum and its energies flow through thicker than their own blood in which Naruto has that energy coursing through even as we speak. Ion sensed that energy and knew what Naruto was. Ion `bonded' with Naruto to aid in realizing his full and ultimate potential.”

 

Kyle asks, curiously, “Why only `mortals'?”

 

Oyther says, with a smile, “Mortals, like yourselves, are the best representation of Life itself. You are full of emotions and use them in all sorts of ways through not always in the correct way, but in life, good and bad, light and darkness, and such always must be in balance. And mortal humanoids represent that balance in all sorts of ways. Even through you don't do it excellent, you try to balance emotion and logic. You do make mistakes, but you learn in which that's life itself.”

 

Kiba says, with a sigh, “This is going to a long day.”

 

Ino knocks Kiba in the forehead and she yells out, with a snort, “Why don't you shut up dog breath?! He is WAY smarter than you will ever be, Kiba!”

 

Superman says, with a serious tone, “And thus why `mortals' are the only ones that will be chosen as Guardians of the Cosmos Lanterns.”

 

Alinna says, with a smile, “And that's correct, Superman. Naruto is only one of those special individuals that have the energy of Life flowing through him like his own blood and thus, he will be a Guardian of the Multi-verse.”

 

Naruto says, seriously, “Whoa, folks! Don't I get a say in this? I didn't ask for this and I don't want power!”

 

Delina says, with a smile, “Those who don't want power are those that usually the kind of power that they don't want because only those type of power like you can handle it with responsibility. Life chose you as one of its greatest protectors, Naruto, because of who you are. You were pushed into a terrible darkness for something that you had no control over and being compared to someone that you weren't through SHE was misunderstood. You refused to go into the depths of despair and become an agent of chaos, but you followed the path of Life in which you took compassion over selfishness, hope over despair, and will and courage over fear. You were more than a ninja, Naruto, you are a protector and warrior the instant that you followed this path. You are very much as pure as the wind that you use your jutsu for, Naruto.”

 

Kakashi says, with a smile under his mask, “Delina is right about you, Naruto. Anyone else would have fallen into the pit of despair and darkness with what happened to you, but you chosen light and Life and it wasn't an easy path, but you went above and beyond duty in which you put others over yourself. You chose to weld the rings not for their strength, but for helping you bring back a friend from the darkness.”

 

Kushina tells Naruto, with a smile, “You followed the path of a hero and plenty of heroes in here know that it isn't an easy path, Naruto. Ion knew this and that's why Ion gave you its strength. Ion knew that you would use its strength wisely, Naruto. Heroes can be born or made, Naruto, but you did both and forged yourself into a hero. Minato-kun, your father, would be truly proud of you, Naruto.”

 

Naruto tells his mother, with a warm smile, “I know, mom.”

 

Queen Apa'po says, with a warm smile, “I must say that this young man has shown to be `talented'.”

 

Kushina says, with a sneer, “Flattering my son isn't going to get you anywhere, Queen Apa'po. And using my son for your end is just going get me really pissed off at you, your majesty!”

 

A Zamaron warrior yells out, angrily, “How dare you talk to the queen like that Kushina? You will pay for your mouth!” But before she could make a move, she was surrounded by hundreds of swords, kunai knives, and shuriken of all types created by Naruto.

 

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “Don't you dare threaten my mother especially in my presence!” Queen Apa'po motions for her warrior to `back down' in which she does and Naruto makes his `creations' vanish in swirls of green light. Naruto says, with a serious tone, “I only know about you, ladies, from what I heard from the ring and what I've been told. I may not the brightest tool in the shed and everyone knows it…”

 

Kiba says, with a sly smirk, “You got that right, Naruto!” However, this remark only earned him a glare from Neji and Tenten and Ino bashing him on the forehead at the same time.

 

Naruto says, a small smirk on his lips, but with a serious tone, “I'll only judge people by what I see in front of me and I won't make any hasty moves since Sakura-chan and Hinata-chan on your side, but there is something that I do know: Emotions can be misused.” Naruto's body gives a bright lime green color with a blue and red glow of two familiar chakra energies with his eyes giving a glowing green and blue while they look a bit more animal-like in which he says, with a very serious tone not heard in him before, “Love can be abused and if you abuse it, which means that you are abusing Sakura-chan and Hinata-chan, there will be no force in any world that will keep me from you, your majesty.” Naruto's powerful aura then creates a shockwave that cracks much of the floor and surprising many people in the room even the two Kryptonians.

 

Superman thinks in his mind, seriously, “Great Scott! This boy has come along way and Naruto might have powers that far exceed those of Supergirl and me in which we are not sure what this `chakra energy' that humans, in this world, can harness can do to Kara and me.”

 

Choji asks Ino, nervously, “I'm not sure about all this stuff, Ino, but this isn't going well, right?”

 

Ino replies, with a sigh, “What was your first clue Choji?” Naruto turns away from everyone, but he stops as images come into his mind as well as his Blue Lantern ring gives off a powerful glow. Images of a huge eagle with four sets of angelic wings coming out of its back and it seems to be made of blue energy comes into Naruto's mind.

 

Naruto thinks in his mind, “What is that image in my mind?”

 

Chizuru replies, with a serious tone, “It looks like another entity like this Ion! Ion is reacting to it as well! I think that's the Hope entity that we were told about! It's in the village and it is strong enough to call out to you, Naruto-kun, since you have Ion inside of you!”

 

Kakashi asks Naruto, seeing him blankly stare ahead, “Naruto, is something wrong?” Everyone reacts immediately, but then Naruto takes to the skies and flies out of the room.

 

Kushina asks, perplexed, “Naruto?” Kushina then gains a rainbow aura around her and she takes to the skies after her son in which Sakura and Hinata prepare to take off after Naruto, but Tsunade looks at them not to go right now in which they look on as Naruto leaves.

 

Tenten says, with a sigh, “I will never get used to all this, everyone.”

 

Ganthet thinks in his mind, “Young Naruto has been contacted by a powerful force in which is related to his Blue Lantern power ring. I think that I know who has contacted him and it would explain why we couldn't find HIM within our realm!”

 

Just then ANBU leaps into the room and he tells Tsunade, “Lady Hokage, there is something `unusual' happening at the Inuzuka compound.”

 

Tsunade asks, curiously, “What do you mean `unusual'?”

 

ANBU member replies, with a serious tone, “There is a flying dog with a red cape on his back hanging out at the Inuzuka compound, Lady Hokage.”

 

Supergirl yells out, stunned, “How did Krypto get here?!”

 

Kiba asks, curiously, “I take it that he is your dog, `Supergirl'?”

 

Superman says, with a nod, “He is and he is from Krypton like Kara and me which makes him a `super dog'.”

 

Kiba says, with a smile, “I wouldn't worry about that, big guy. The Inuzuka clan have been working with canines for generations and even if it is an intergalactic canine, your dog will feel right at home.” Akamaru gives a loud bark in approval.

 

Tsunade says, with a serious tone, “Even so, Kiba, we should make sure that everything is okay.” Everyone prepares to get up and leave while the Overseers look at each other in which they mentally sigh.

 

(Within the secret tunnels within the Hokage Monument; Sometime later)

 

Inside of the secret emergency tunnels within the Hokage monument, we find Naruto looking around one area of the tunnels down at the base of the mountain as his mother walks over to him.

 

Kushina asks Naruto, “Naruto, my boy, what's wrong?”

 

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “I can't exactly explain it, but someone or something called out to me. Chizuru AKA Kyuubi thinks it is the Hope entity.”

 

Kushina says, with a gasp, “The Hope entity? Are you sure that it is Angelo?”

 

Naruto asks Kushina, perplexed, “You know its name, mom?”

 

Kushina says, with a smile, “I'm a Cosmos Lantern, after all, my boy. You have got to know these things, Naruto.”

 

Naruto says, with a smile, “That's right, mom.” Naruto then senses something and goes a rock formation in which he says, seriously, “That feeling that I got earlier is really strong right here, mom.” Naruto touches the rocks and then his Blue Lantern ring blazes with blue light as the cracks in the rock also glow with blue light.

 

Kushina yells out, worriedly, “Naruto, get out of there!” Naruto, out of instinct, leaps out of the way and creates a green shield around his mother and himself in which Kushina uses her own ring to increase in strength as the rock starts to crumble down in which more blue light fills the room.

 

Just then a powerful, yet, gentle voice calls out, “I have returned!” Soon enough, an intense blue light fills the room causing Naruto and his mother to cover their eyes.

 

(Elsewhere within the Hidden Leaf Village; A brief time afterwards)

 

Right now, we are at the Inuzuka Compound, where we find our members of the DC Universe and Naruto's allies, friends, and/or loved ones finding Krypto having fun and playing with the Inuzuka Compound dogs and wolves and then Hana Inuzuka rubs Krypto's scalp in such the right way that he `barks' and wags his tag in approval.

 

Hana says, with a smile, “He just came out of nowhere and flying down. However, our canines know an enemy and even through he was `unusual', they sensed him to be friendly and I could tell just the same.”

 

Superman says, curiously, “It is interesting that Krypto would be so friendly with new people so quickly.”

 

Supergirl says, with a snort, “He wasn't so friendly when I came along, that's for sure.”

 

Tsunade says, with a plain tone, “The Inuzuka clan always had canines, dogs and wolves, for partners for generations and as you can see from their `physical traits', they have a deep `bond' with canines.”

 

When Krypto starts to bark, Kiba says, with a smile, “Your dog, Krypto, says that he knew that these people were friendly from their scent and he was surprised that they could understand him.”

 

Guy asks, surprised, “You can talk to dogs, kid?!”

 

Kyle tells Guy, with a smile, “These people have had dogs and wolves for generations and they have canine-like `physical traits' on them, Guy. It isn't surprising that they know how to understand dogs, Guy.”

 

When Krypto starts to bark and turns towards Hokage Mountain, Kiba says, seriously, “Krypto is saying that his nose is picking up something strange going on in our mountain!” Just then blue light starts to burst from the `Stone Hokage Head's' eyes and everyone gasps in shock.

 

Tenten asks, perplexed, “What's going on?” Saint Walker then notices his Blue Lantern ring giving off an incredible blue light.

 

Saint Walker asks Ganthet, “Ganthet, could this be…?”

 

Ganthet says, with a nod, “I believe so, Saint Walker. Naruto Namikaze has found the Hope entity.”

 

Choji asks, nervously, “Is that a good thing everyone?” Just then a burst of blue light comes from the entrance to the tunnels in the mountain and shoots into the sky in which the blue light takes the form of the eagle with angelic wings landing on top of the mountain.

 

Ino says, amazed, “It is so beautiful, everyone.”

 

Saint Walker says, amazed, “The entity of Hope which was born at the same time as Ion, Parallax, and Predator.”

 

Ganthet says, with a serious tone, “And he wishes to speak with the welders of his light, Saint Walker. We must be respectful to him and go to Angelo, Saint Walker.” Soon after, Saint Walker and Ganthet fly up towards the Hope entity on top of Hokage Mountain.

 

Lee asks, curiously, “What are we supposed to do now everyone?”

 

Alinna says, with a smile, “We will follow them young ninja.” Alinna then gives a wave of her hand and encompassing everyone, minus Hana Inuzuka and Krypto, in a large sphere that zip over to Hokage Mountain and the Hope entity.

 

Hana says, commenting, “That's something you don't see everyday even for our village.” On top of the Hokage Monument Mountain, we find Saint Walker and Ganthet landing as the others land around the same time with Naruto and Kushina not far behind.

 

Shikamaru asks Naruto, with a plain tone, “I'm figuring that you woke this guy up, Naruto?”

 

The Hope entity says, with the same voice that Naruto heard in the cave, “I am that very same entity, young warrior of this realm. My name is Angelo, entity of Hope's Light. I was born at the start of the multi-verse ages ago with my fellow `Emotional Sovereigns', as we refer to ourselves, including Ion, Parallax, and Predator.”

 

Ganthet says, with a bow, “I am Ganthet, Guardian of the Blue Lanterns, who are welders of your light, Angelo.”

 

Saint Walker says, with a bow, “I am Saint Walker, Blue Lantern of Space Sector zero-zero-one, and I am honored to be in your presence, Angelo.”

 

Angelo replies, with a bow, “I am honored to be in the presence of the welders of my light and color, Guardian Ganthet and Lantern Saint Walker. All of you have many questions and I believe that I should explain the story of how I am and my fellow `Emotional Sovereigns' came into existence. The story starts at the dawn of time and when the `Big Bang', as humans refers to the dawn of time and existence, happened the energy of life and the `Emotional Light Spectrum' flowed into the newly formed universes. Soon enough, with the realm that the Lanterns, the ones that weld the lights of the Emotional Light Spectrum, all seven of us were created into this universe.” Just then images of Ion, Parallax, Predator, Angelo, a huge indigo colored dolphin with eagle wings, an huge orange weasel with scythes for hands, and a huge red bull and spider creature are seem by the others and Angelo says, “Ion, the entity of willpower, Parallax, the entity of fear, Uru, the entity of rage, Devioto, the entity of greed, Predator, the entity of love, Daya, the entity of compassion, and I, Angelo, the entity of Hope. Born from the energies of very core of the `Emotional Light Spectrum' and Life itself, we were to maintain the balance of emotions into to keep life in balance, but it was not to be. All of us had started the true first `War of Light' when we battled across the universe and during that fight, I had convinced Daya to aid me in the battle against Uru, Devioto, and Parallax and since Uru and Parallax were involved, Predator, aided us and Ion as well. The final result caused Devioto, Daya, Uru, and myself to be thrown into passageways of the multi-verse where I ended up here. Predator became sent to the world of Zamaron where Predator became sealed with the energy of the Star Sapphire gems where Miss Carol Farris became Predator's host later on. However, Ion and Parallax were still at war with each other until Ion was aided by the Guardians of the Universe and together, they had sealed Parallax in what would become the first Central Power Battery for the Green Lantern Corps with Ion aiding in the seal becoming one with the battery to put Parallax into a deep slumber in which Ion `lighted' the flame of the battery which would become the central power source for the first Lantern Corps: The Green Lanterns.”

 

Kyle says, with a plain tone, “Naruto has Ion, Predator is on Zamaron, you are right here in front of us, and Parallax is sealed in John's, Hal's, Guy's, and my personal batteries, Angelo.”

 

Angelo says, plainly, “I fear not, Kyle Rayner. Parallax has been secretly removed from the four Lantern Batteries by the enemy that uses the darkness of emotions for their strength through the shadows and they are preparing to put him in a new host to spread chaos and destruction across the multi-verse.” Our DC heroes especially our four Earth Green Lanterns gasp in shock and Angelo shows them images of Parallax over none other than Kabuto in complete fear in which they see Parallax enter his body in which Kabuto's hair becomes white on the right and left corners of his scalp and his body is encased in a uniform similar to Hal's uniform when he was possessed by Parallax through there is a mixture of a yellow Sound insignia on the chest peace.

 

When the images that Angelo created fades away, Hal and Kyle yell out in unison, “Parallax is free?!”

 

John yells out, annoyed, “We had enough of Parallax!”

 

Naruto says, with a snort, “I thought that dealing with Kabuto was bad enough, but Kabuto with Orochimaru's strength and Parallax controlling him?! This is going to be a real pain!”

 

Supergirl says, with a plain tone, “Something tells me that he isn't a friend of yours.”

 

Kakashi says, with a plain tone, “His name is Kabuto, a spy and right hand man of Orochimaru, once one of the three Sanin and traitor to our village. As you saw when encountered him for the first time, he had grafted some of Orochimaru's remains onto him and the consciousness within them has taken control of one-third of his body. He wants to gain Orochimaru's strength for himself and he was `inspired' by Naruto to become stronger through this path, Supergirl.”

 

Angelo says, with a plain tone, “And those of the dark forces of chaos used his desire against him by having his fear of losing to Orochimaru which in turn allowed Parallax to gain him as a new host and he is not so weak in which he will gain full control of this Orochimaru's energy and strength that this Kabuto fused to his own body.”

 

Tenten says, drolly, “An entity of pear fear with Orochimaru's strength and Kabuto's body is just perfect everyone.”

 

Just then Naruto yelps as images of Sasuke appears in his mind and Sakura asks, concerned, “Naruto-kun, what's wrong?” Sakura and Hinata rush over to Naruto and through Kushina looks concerned about the two of them, she doesn't stop them in which she aids his son.

 

Neji asks Naruto, “What just happened?”

 

Naruto says, shaking his head, “Sasuke is coming… I can sense it…”

 

Kakashi asks, curiously, “Sasuke is returning?”

 

Shikamaru asks, curiously, “Are you sure that it isn't nerves after that big fight with Pain, Naruto?”

 

Angelo says, plainly, “Ion's current host is correct, young warrior. The one that you call `Sasuke Uchiha', the one who bares the eyes born from the lights of rage, greed, and fear known as the Sharingan, is coming here.”

 

Kakashi asks Angelo, “You know of the Sharingan, Angelo?”

 

Angelo says, with a plain tone, “I know of it well since I aided the warrior that fought against the one that used it to control a mighty fox spirit known as the Nine-Tailed Fox, a creature to created to ensure balance when the darkness of humanity threatens to upset the balance of this world, for his own plot of revenge. This warrior, known to you as the First Hokage, was outmatched by this `dark warrior' known as Madara Uchiha, but his hope and will could never be broken and his strength and determination with his hope burning like a powerful flame allowed me to aid him in battle by infusing the energies of willpower and hope within him allowing him to weaken Madara's control on the Nine-Tailed Fox in which the First Hokage brought Madara down. I also aided him with infusing energies of hope and willpower to counter the rage energy infected the kitsune spirit if Madara took control of it, again. I knew well of what the rage, greed, and fear energies infused with the eyes of Madara and his clan and I knew only one with great hope, willpower, compassion, and love can stop him. I can tell that he will be the warrior of darkness for the enemy that you will face in the `Spectrum Wars' which will be a war that will encompass all realms that are within and beyond your imagination. In order to combat it, the worlds must be united through the strength of the Lantern Corps and entities like Ion and myself.”

 

Ganthet says, with a nod, “It is as I believed, Angelo. The Lantern Corps must recruit new warriors from the other universes in order to combat this darkness.”

 

Angelo says, with a nod, “You are correct, Guardian Ganthet. The `Spectrum Wars' will not only be a war of the `emotional light spectrum' and life, but it will be a war against the darkness and the battle between the seven `torchbearers' and the seven of us. There is one critical key to the war: The four torchbearers of Cosmos.”

 

Guy asks, perplexed, “Wait a minute, here, bud! Aren't there supposed to be only ONE torchbearer per Corps?!”

 

Delina replies, plainly, “Those of the Cosmos Lanterns are different, Guy Gardner. Since Cosmos Lanterns weld the energy of Life and harness all light energy of the `emotional light spectrum', they have four torchbearers instead of one. However, only the powers of the Cosmos torchbearers, the four entities that represent Life itself, have been made at the start of existence. Those energies were sent far into the future to be infused in those four that would be the `Entities of Life' and they form what it is known as the `Council of Four'. There is the Torchbearer of Light, Torchbearer of Shadow, Torchbearer of Twilight, and Torchbearer of Celestial and thus, represent the four greatest aspects of Life other than emotion. There is also something else: Those of the Cosmos Lantern Corps, Lanterns, Guardians, and Torchbearers most of all, harness the energy of the elements as well. The `Council of Four' can completely control all natural elements of Life itself.”

 

Kyle asks, amazed, “These Torchbearers must be really something, huh?”

 

Angelo replies, with a plain tone, “We have seen the energies that will belong to the four Torchbearers of Life and compared to beings like Ion and me, we are nowhere close in comparing to them.”

 

John says, amazed, “I'm really glad that they are going to be on our side, guys.”

 

Oyther says, with a serious tone, “If we get to them in time because if one of these torchbearers is lost, the whole of the multi-verse is most likely doomed to eternal darkness for the rest of time.”

 

Supergirl asks, drolly, “No pressure, huh?”

 

Tsunade says, with a serious tone, “We have more immediately problems, everyone. If Parallax has possessed Kabuto, then he knows of our village and he knows about Naruto having a Green Lantern Power Ring which will draw him straight here. And from what information you gave me, Parallax is worse than even Pain. Same to higher levels of strength, but a far different and more destructive and deadly motive for his actions.”

 

Ino asks Tsunade, “My lady, what do we do?”

 

Kiba says, seriously, “We kind of barely got out of that last battle with Pain and now, we have this, Lady Hokage!”

 

Angelo says, with a plain tone, “It is worse than that, young warriors. The one that you call Sasuke Uchiha bares a yellow ring and you should see this to believe for yourselves, warriors of light.” Angelo then shows images of Sasuke, with a yellow glint in his Sharingan eyes, flying through the air with yellow ring on his finger with the members of his team, Team Hawk, leaping through the trees below.

 

Naruto yells out, stunned, “I can't believe it! Sasuke is a member of the Sinestro Corps!”

 

Angelo says, with a plain tone, “Only for his own reasons, young Multi-verse Guardian to be. Right now, I fear that he plans to take revenge on this village. Long ago, the First Hokage found this cavern where my light was hidden to allow me to survive all these years and through my time, I became connected to the `emotional light spectrum' of this world in which I learned everything that has gone on in this realm since the First Hokage gave me my sanctuary until the day I can return to my realm and to those who weld my light. Before you freed, Naruto Namikaze, I found this out. He has assault another village for an entity known as `Tailed Beast' specifically the Eight-Tailed Ox which he believed to have captured, but he was tricked by the Eight Tails who also tricked his own people to believing he is captured in order to take a `vacation' I believe you call it, young warrior.”

 

Naruto yells out, stunned, “That means that Sasuke is allied with the Akatsuki and Madara?!”

 

Angelo says, with a nod, “You are correct, Naruto Namikaze. He is allied, at this time, with the other one that bares a yellow ring of fear.”

 

Shikamaru says, drolly, “This is just great, folks. Sasuke is allied with the Akatsuki and he has one of those yellow rings on him? This is such drag.”

 

Tsunade says, seriously, “And if he has attacked the Cloud Village, we are going to be hearing from the Raikage soon enough.”

 

Ino asks, perplexed, “I don't get it everyone! Why is Sasuke coming to attack our village?”

 

Naruto says, amazed, “Itachi knew this… Itachi knew this would happen!”

 

Kakashi asks Naruto, “What are you talking about Naruto?” Naruto then explains about his encounter with Itachi to everyone.

 

Kiba asks, perplexed, “Wasn't that guy supposed to capture you, Naruto? Isn't Itachi on the side of the Akatsuki?”

 

Kakashi says, with a serious tone, “Nothing is ever what it seems Kiba. I know since I was the one that taught Sasuke, Sakura, and Naruto that lesson. It seems to be that Itachi wasn't truly on the side of the Akatsuki and he had his own motive.”

 

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “This might sound nuts, everyone, but I think that Itachi was planning to die at Sasuke's hands.”

 

Ino says, with a serious tone, “That does sound nuts Naruto!”

 

Guy says, with a plain tone, “Doesn't sound too nuts to since my ring detected that he was dying of a deadly disease.”

 

Everyone looks at Guy and Yamato asks, seriously, “Didn't you think that would be important to share with everyone?”

 

Guy says, seriously, “What? He was the enemy at the time and I prefer blasting first and asking questions later!”

 

Kyle says, with a smirk, “Not surprising, Guy.”

 

Kakashi says, with a serious tone, “And what Naruto is saying isn't so crazy after all everyone. It looks like Itachi had an different motive after all for joining the Akatsuki and something tells me that Madara knew all along about this. And I think that Itachi joining the Akatsuki has something to do with Sasuke coming to the village to take revenge on it now everyone.”

 

Shikamaru asks, curiously, “So, what do we do about Kakashi-sensei?”

 

Naruto says, seriously, “You aren't going to do anything about it, Shikamaru. When Sasuke comes, I'm going to face him alone.”

 

Many of Naruto's friends, allies, and/or loved ones gasp in shock and Kiba yells out, with a serious tone, “Have you gone nuts, Naruto?! Remember what to you at the Valley of Ends?!”

Shikamaru says, with a serious tone, “You might have that Ion power giving you a major boost and you might have demolished Pain with all your new abilities, but Sasuke is someone else. Knowing him, he has gained way more strength since the last time that you saw him and far greater abilities.”

 

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “I wouldn't be surprised at all, Shikamaru. In fact, I'm expecting Sasuke to be even stronger since we last met, but this battle has to be between him and me everyone. It started with us and it has to end with us one way or another. I just really know this Shikamaru.”

 

John tells Hal, with a plain tone, “In a way, Hal, it is like your battle with Sinestro.”

 

Hal says, with a plain tone, “With some key differences, John, but you do have a point. I think that Naruto should do this battle alone.” When everyone looks at him, Hal says, with a plain tone, “In my time with the Green Lantern Corps, I learned that the battle between Sinestro and me will only end when one of us finally falls once and for all. As long as one of us lives, we will continue to fight which might represent the battle between Sinestro and the whole of the Green Lantern Corps. When I learned about the `battle' between Naruto and his former comrade, it is different from Sinestro and me, but I learned that there are plenty of similarities, however, only the final demise of one is just one of the possibilities. However, one thing is for certain, everyone, their `fight' will only end when both of them make it end.”

 

Kakashi says, with a serious tone, “As much as plenty of us don't want to admit it, there is truth in his world, Lady Hokage.”

 

Tsunade says, with a sigh, “I'll make sure that Naruto will fight Sasuke of his own accord everyone.” Naruto gives a smile that says `thank you' and he thinks about Sasuke, his former comrade, soon after.

 

Angelo says, with a plain tone, “If I may interject before I leave, you may considering wishing to talk with the `elders' of your village and the one that you call Danzo in which they have the real truth about the massacre of the people that bare the eyes born from the energies of rage, greed, and fear.” Angel tells Saint Walker, “Now, I must return to my realm, Saint Walker. Your ring is connected back to the Central Battery for my light, Saint Walker. Open the gate and I shall use your ring to go the Central Battery that contains my light in which I shall wait until the torchbearer for my power comes.”

 

Saint Walker tells Angelo, in reply, “It shall be done, Angelo.” Saint Walker holds up his ring and his ring gives off a slight, but strong blue light in which Angelo is absorbed into the ring as he uses it back to DC realm and Odym where the Central Battery for the Blue Lantern Corps is.

 

Ganthet says, with a plain tone, “Angelo is now within our Central Battery where he shall remain until a worthy torchbearer for our Corps like Ion is to the Green Lantern Corps, Saint Walker.”

 

Tsunade says, with a serious tone, “Right now, we have other things to take care of including a few old geezers that I need talking to everyone.” Tsunade looks at every one of the `people' from our DC universe and she says, seriously, “I'm afraid that we must continue these discussions later and I shall try to provide ample setting for your stay.”

 

Delina says, with a smile, “Fear not, Lady Tsunade. We shall take care of this and if you must know, we have our ways.” But she glances at her fellow Overseers with a serious glance.

 

Alinna thinks in her mind, “Delina's thoughts are most likely true. Krypto's arrival must be due to the enemies' `tamping' with the `holes' and `gateways' between realities and our enemies are planning their next move.”

 

(In the `dark dimension'; On the meanwhile)

 

Within the realm of the `Dark Lanterns', we find the mysterious Lanterns of Darkness in their usual cloaks looking at a crystal which sees Conner Kent AKA Superboy, the half-Kryptonian clone of Superman, who's human DNA comes from Superman's greatest enemy, Lex Luthor, wearing black and blue version of Superboy-Prime's armor while fighting none other than Superboy-Prime himself in a fierce battle, but with the two young super-powered teens is another teenage young man of about 18 years of age with black hair in Conner's hairstyle and hazel brown eyes wearing Superman's exact costume and using Superman's power along with energy bursts similar to the Eradicator when he was the so-called `Last Son of Krypton'. This `other Superman' is helping Superboy battle Superboy-Prime in an intense battle in which the Dark Lanterns are really angered at.

 

One of them yells out, angrily, “Neo Superman-Prime! We should have known that the Overseer's non-Lantern `lap dog' would be involved in this!”

 

Another one says, with a serious tone, “It looks like that armor that he gave Conner Kent allows him to absorb solar energy equal to Superman since he is only half-Kryptonian and obtains solar energy at a lesser late as well as his Kryptonian nature activated before Cadmus could fully develop Conner Kent. The Overseers must have aided David Kent in this!”

 

A third `Dark Lantern' says, plainly, “It is quite obvious, my friend. David Kent, Neo Superman-Prime, is far from a genius and he is good standing with the Overseers. Most likely, he has a connection to the `Spectrum Wars' and Conner Kent does as well and we need to find that connection.” The `Dark Lantern' says, with a plain tone, “However, we have more pressing issues to attend to for the moment since Superboy-Prime can take care of himself at this time, everyone. Parallax has taken his new host and he is heading for where Ion's current `host' resides and the Agent Orange Lantern has been delivered.” All of the `Dark Lanterns' in the room chuckle evilly at this statement by their fellow Lantern and the Dark Lantern says, darkly, “We will need to add our newest member from Universe fifty-three soon enough, my brethren.”

 

(Back in Naruto's realm; A short time soon after)

 

We find ourselves on top of the roof of Naruto's apartment as he looks out into the distance on the lookout for his former teammate and pretty much rival in many points, Sasuke Uchiha, bent on getting to the Leaf Village for revenge through Naruto doesn't know what. Just then he sees two familiar Star Sapphires float down to him with warm smiles on their faces.

 

Hinata says, with a warm smile, “Are you okay, Naruto-kun?”

 

Naruto says, with a plain tone, “I'm not really sure, Hinata-chan. Knowing that Sasuke has a yellow ring and he is coming to destroy the village like Itachi warned is kind of much. I don't get it about what Itachi is really all about, Hinata-chan. My gut feeling that there is more to what he did than we know and something tells me that Sasuke found out.”

 

Sakura says, with a warm smile, “Tsunade is going to confront the elders and find out what they know about the Uchiha Massacre and Itachi, Naruto-kun.”

 

Naruto asks Hinata and Sakura, curiously, “But what about you, two? I think I know, but I'm not really sure? Why Star Sapphires?”

 

Hinata tells Naruto, with a warm loving tone, “Sakura-chan and I love you, Naruto-kun. I loved for so long, Naruto-kun. You were my inspiration to become stronger and get me through all that I went through. If it wasn't for you, I would never be the person that I am today. However, I never had the courage to come up and tell you because I seemed so shy and my feeling are as vast as our whole world is Naruto-kun, but the Star Sapphires helped me and gave what I need to tell you how I feel about you as well as the strength to help you, Naruto-kun.”

 

Sakura tells Naruto, with a warm loving tone, “I really did like Sasuke in the way that Hinata likes you, Naruto-kun, but my heart was broken when Sasuke chose Orochimaru over us and after seeing you hurt and seeing how determined you were to fulfill your promise, I couldn't help to get a warm feeling in my heart. It also felt so lonely without you and I have to admit that you were silly, but I really liked the way you made me laugh. Then seeing Sasuke again and seeing how willing he was to kill you without a thought horrified me, Naruto-kun. My feelings became confused because I felt something for Sasuke, but I felt so much for you, especially after learning the truth about you, Naruto-kun.”

 

Naruto felt a bit nervous and Hinata tells Naruto, with a warm smile, “Sakura-chan explained the truth to me before we became Star Sapphires, Naruto-kun, and to me, you are a hero and not the fox inside of you through the fox isn't really that bad.”

 

Kyuubi yells out, annoyed, “What's that supposed to mean girlfriend?!”

 

Sakura tells Naruto, with a warm loving tone, “The Star Sapphire sensed that I had a hole in my heart and I was so confused about my feelings, but they helped me see who I really loved for and it is you, Naruto-kun.” Naruto can't help to be surprised and Sakura tells Naruto, with a warm loving tone, “Hinata-chan and I have so much feeling for you and we joined the Star Sapphires to protect you because it might be possible you would die in this `Spectrum Wars'. You are a Guardian of the Multi-verse after all.”

 

Hinata tells Naruto, with a warm loving tone, “We are going to protect you, Naruto-kun, along with all of our `precious' people.”

Sakura says, with a warm sly smile, “There is nothing in any world that's going to stop us, Naruto-kun.” Sakura then kisses Naruto right on the lips causing him to blush and he blushes some more when Hinata kisses him on the lips when Sakura pulls her lips away from Naruto's lips.

 

When Hinata releases from the kiss, Naruto says, nervously, “I really don't know what to say, Hinata-chan… Sakura-chan…”

 

Sakura tells Naruto, with a warm loving tone, “We know that you care for both of us, Naruto-kun. We are Star Sapphires after all and Queen Apa'po showed us that you are our true love. We could use the Clan Restoration Act since you have the Rinnegan and your father's bloodline, Naruto-kun.”

 

Hinata tells Naruto, with a warm loving tone, “Just promise us that we will be your only wives, Naruto-kun.”

 

Naruto tells the two Star Sapphires, “Sakura-chan, I really love you and Hinata-chan. You mean so much to me and I'm glad that you like me so much, but it is just…”

 

Sakura tells Naruto, with a warm smile, “We know that you are nervous because of the whole Star Sapphire and Zamarons through the Green Lanterns, but you can't believe everything you hear, Naruto-kun. We aren't brainwashed Naruto-kun. Hinata-chan and I experienced something wonderful during our time on Zamaron. We can't tell you about it because we can't just describe it.”

 

Hinata tells Naruto, with a loving tone, “After that, we just couldn't help to dedicate ourselves to protecting all love in our world and beyond, Naruto-kun.” The two Star Sapphire kunoichi then kiss Naruto on the lips together and Naruto can't help himself to pull them into a three-way passionate kiss, but Kushina is watching from a distance using her Cosmos Lantern ring to fly in the area with a serious glare on her expression. Just then a huge explosion is heard coming from the Hokage Tower and Kushina, Naruto, and the two Star Sapphire head for the Hokage's office.

 

(At Hokage Tower; A brief time soon after)

 

Within the Hokage's office, with the roof completely destroyed, we find Tsunade, Shizune, and the two Leaf Village elders, Homura Mitokado and Koharu Utatane, in front of Danzo, welding the Agent Orange Lantern Battery with an orange ring on his right hand's ring finger.

 

Shizune yells out, shocked, “Danzo has the Agent Orange Lantern!”

 

Danzo calls out, laughing in a insane manner, “You have denied me for the last time, Tsunade! With this Orange Lantern, I shall finally calm the position of Hokage as it should be all mine!”

 

Homura yells out, strongly, “Danzo, this is total treason!”

 

Danzo calls out, angrily, “Shut up, you old fool! I've had it with your weakling holding me back and it is finally time I take what is rightfully mine, Homura!”

 

Tsunade calls out, strongly, “I won't let you consume this village, Danzo!”

 

Danzo yells out, with an insane smile, “You can't stop me now, Tsunade!” Danzo then creates many orange constructs of his ROOT organization as Orange Lanterns and he laughs out with a sinister laugh, but just then he looks up into the sky in which everyone else does to see Kushina and Naruto flying into the scene. Danzo calls out, shocked, “Kushina Uzumaki?!”

 

Kushina says, with a smirk, “You seem surprised, Danzo! It must because I'm alive after you tried to kill me, you jerk!”

 

Danzo says, looking at Naruto, “I'm not surprised that you are so alike, Kushina! He is your brat and the brat of Minato Namikaze after all!”

 

Naruto asks Danzo, seriously, “Jerk, I think that it is time that you answered some questions! What do you know about the Uchiha Massacre that we don't know?!”

 

Danzo says, with a nasty tone, “Why should I tell Minato's brat?! And I knew all along you were Uzumaki! Your last name gave it away at the start, but I kept my mouth shut since I didn't want to be accused of treason and make my plans impossible! I tried to make you part of ROOT since I knew with Minato's and this wench's genes along with the fox, you would be my ultimate weapon, but that rotten Sarutobi got in my way! Personally, I thought that what the moronic villagers, not knowing a fox from its `container' as in the case of many jinchÅ«riki, do to you would break you and make you easier to get my hands on, but you wouldn't break at all! No matter what they did, you came back and continue on further ahead! And that Iruka had to butt in and gave you the friendship and `parenting' that you need to ensure that you would be independent from my control!”

 

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “Personally, I'm more than glad for that because for the Old Man and Iruka-sensei gave me the path that I follow and I will follow my father's path in which I will become Hokage after Tsunade-chan!”

 

Danzo says, with a sinister smile, “I can't have that Naruto Namikaze! I will gain the position of Hokage and unlike you, who will try `fair and square', I tried everything to gain it to show this village that we need to be strong and not follow the stupid path of Tsunade's grandfather, the First Hokage!”

 

Tsunade yells out, angrily, “How dare you insult my grandfather's vision and the vision of the Hokages before me, Danzo!”

 

Danzo says, strongly, “It was because of those Hokages that the village ended up like this and unlike you, I did my best to make sure that this village becomes strong!”

 

Naruto asks, with a nasty tone, “By making it into a cold heartless place, Danzo?!”

 

Danzo yells out, strongly, “If it makes this village, strong, then I will mold it into that form, brat! I did what it took to protect and make this village strong as well as made sure that any threats to this village are taken out! There are no exceptions including those rotten Uchiha!”

 

Koharu says, seriously, “Danzo, you can't do this!”

 

Danzo yells out, with a sinister smile, “They are not going to be here much longer, you old wench! If you need to know the truth, Itachi didn't murder the Uchiha for his own selfish gain, but he did it under my orders and the orders of the elders!”

 

Everyone else, minus the village elders, gasp in shock and Shizune yells out, stunned, “Itachi murdered the Uchiha clan per your orders!”

 

Danzo says, with a serious tone, “No duh, you `teacher's pet'! When the Nine-Tailed Fox attacked years ago, we thought that it was the Uchiha clan since only the Sharingan can control the Nine-Tailed Fox since people like me knew that Madara Uchiha did it years ago. We had the Uchiha clan contained in one part of the village to keep them under control and this was started by the Second Hokage, Tsunade's grand-uncle, when he made them part of the Police of the Leaf Village, an honor was in fact a way to control the Uchiha for the fears of an Uchiha rebel coming out of the woodwork. We made the mistake and found out that Madara, who is still alive, was the one who did, but the Uchiha decided to realize our fears and they planned a coup! There was one mistake that they made in their attempt to take over the village everyone! They tried to plant one of their own as a spy in our own ANBU, but he became a double agent instead! That `double agent' was Itachi Uchiha!”

 

Naruto says, lowly, “Sasuke's brother was a spy.”

 

Danzo says, continuing his story, “Itachi witness the horrors of war when he was just a toddler and that turned him against war in which he will make sure that another war wouldn't ever start again. However, when he learned about his clan's plans, he turned against them and became an agent for the village elders, the Third Hokage, and me.”

 

Naruto asks, seriously, “What does the Old Man have to do with this, jerk?”

 

Danzo yells out, strongly, “The `Old Man' knew all about the Uchiha plot all along, boy! Itachi was assigned by us to spy on his own clan especially his and Sasuke's father since he was the leader of the plot the whole time! The Third Hokage stupidly tried to negotiate with the Uchiha, but as I thought, his plans came to not and even through the `Old Man' wanted more time, I knew what had to be done and the elders agreed with me! We gave Itachi the order to carry out our plans! He gained his Mangekyo Sharingan by getting rid of his best friend, who in fact was sent to spy on Itachi since his own clan was getting suspicious of him, and making a deal with Madara Uchiha to aid him to get rid of the clan, Itachi wiped out the whole clan save one, which was against his orders! He spared that brat brother of his Sasuke! He begged the Third Hokage not to tell Sasuke the truth and he threatened to release secrets of the village if I don't keep my mouth shut and make any move against his brother! I had no choice, but to agree to Itachi's terms! However, he did continue with the plan to become a fugitive and join the Akatsuki in order to spy on them for the village as well as keep Madara in check!”

 

Tsunade asks the village elders, glaring at them dangerously, “And you knew about this the whole time, you pieces of dirt?!”

 

Homura says, with a serious tone, “We had to do what we must for the village even if Sarutobi didn't agree with it in which Itachi bravely gave up everything to keep the village safe through his secret may be doomed to never be known as well as his name to live in infamy which is what he wanted. His plan was to die by Sasuke's hands, for him to gain the Mangekyo Sharingan, and revive the Uchiha clan in the way that Itachi wanted. Since Sasuke was so young, we agreed to Itachi's terms, even if Danzo disagreed, because we believed that we could control Sasuke enough to create an Uchiha clan loyal to the Leaf Village.”

 

Kushina says, with a snort, “You, two, geezers haven't changed in the years that I have been gone, Homura!”

 

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “And that's why Sasuke is coming back to take his revenge on the village! Madara must have told him the truth or his own perverted way of it!” Danzo and the two elders look at Naruto with shock and Naruto says, with a foxy smile, “Didn't you geezers know that? Sasuke is on his way here and he is packing a yellow ring!”

 

Danzo yells out, with a sinister smile, “I don't really care, brat! I'll take his power like everything else that I had gained and I also deserve!” Danzo's bandages then fall off to reveal a Sharingan right eye and right arm that looks like it was attached through medical jutsu.

 

Shizune yells out, shocked, “Sharingan?!”

 

Danzo says, with a sinister smile, “A gift from Itachi when he killed Shisui Uchiha, Shizune!”

 

Tsunade says, with a snort, “You must have taken it and that arm from Shisui Uchiha with Itachi evening knowing, Shizune!”

 

Danzo asks, with a sinister snort, “Do you think that Itachi would be that stupid?!” Danzo says, with a sly smile, “And you can watch at what it can do, Tsunade!” But when he points it at Naruto, he gasps to see a pair of Sharingan eyes instead of Naruto's usual blue.

 

Naruto says, with a smirk, “This is a real gift from Itachi, jerk! He knew about my bloodline and transferred some of his energy into me, Danzo!”

 

Danzo says, with a snarl, “Itachi was genius after all, so, I shouldn't be surprised that he knew about you being Minato's son! However, it won't stop for gaining that all I deserve! The Hokage position and this village is mine!”

 

Just then a familiar male voice calls out, seriously, “I don't think so, you overgrown windbag!” Everyone looks to see our DC heroes and Kryptonian canine flying in the air above in which the rest of Naruto's friends and allies also appear in the room.

 

Naruto says, with a sly smirk, “What kept all of you, Kakashi-sensei? I don't think you get lost on the `road of life' in this situation.”

 

Kiba says, with a serious tone, “Very funny, Naruto!”

 

Kakashi asks, surprised, “Danzo?! And he has a Sharingan?!”

 

Tsunade says, with a serious tone, “I will give you the details later, but he got his Sharingan from Itachi Uchiha's former best friend after Itachi killed him, Kakashi.”

 

Yamato, who had just come back due to a `bad feeling', says, with a serious tone, “Shisui has a unique talent of mind-control with his Sharingan and jutsu, everyone.”

 

Danzo yells out, with a strong and angered tone, “You won't this away from me, outsiders! No one will take my position and power that I rightly deserve! Destroy them all!” Soon after, `ROOT Orange Lantern Constructs' leap into the skies and prepare to attack all of our heroes and heroines.

 

Sakura yells out, strongly, “I don't think so, jerk!” Sakura then creates a huge violet light crystal-like mace and launches about a quarter of Danzo's constructs right out of the village where they dissolve into nothingness when they hit the ground and really hard for that matter.

 

Guy says, amazed, “Whoa, mama! Remind me not to make her mad, partner!”

 

Kyle says, with a nod, “No kidding, Guy!”

 

Kushina says, with a serious tone, “You forget that my ring is connected with the whole `emotional light spectrum', so, it is to do this Danzo!” Kushina then creates a giant rainbow colored vacuum cleaner which sucks up all of the remaining ROOT constructs that Danzo had made.

 

Danzo yells out, strongly, “I won't let do this, Kushina!”

 

Naruto calls out, strongly, “She is going to do that and you are going down, you ass!” Naruto then bashes Danzo right in the chin and sends him very high into the air because of his augmented abilities, which is from Ion and his two power rings. Naruto yells out, strongly, “Stay down there everyone! I'll get this jerk!” Naruto then flies high into the air and right after Danzo.

 

Tenten yells out, stunned, “Wait a minute, Naruto!”

 

Shikamaru says, with a plain tone, “That's typical Naruto for you, Tenten.” Soon after, our Green Lanterns, two Star Sapphires, and three Kryptonians, two humanoids and one canine, fly into the air after Naruto while Kushina is `absorbing' all of the ROOT constructs made by Danzo. Back in the sky, we find Danzo spotting his sky accent into the sky and facing off against Naruto.

 

Danzo yells out, annoyed, “You are just like your father, Namikaze: A pain in my neck!”

 

Naruto says, with a foxy smile, “I'm glad that I inherited all of my mom's and dad's `tricks' that you don't like, Danzo!”

 

Danzo exclaims, with a serious deadly glare, “It stops today, brat! I let you and your family get in my way for the last time, Uzumaki!” Danzo then creates tons of saws, knives, axes, kunai knives, and shuriken to use against Naruto in which Naruto creates tons of his green energy duplicates of his friends along with tons of Shadow Clones and the two of them begin an intense mid-air battle which Naruto uses his blue ring to shield himself from Danzo's attacks while he uses his green ring and Ion powers to attack him directly. Within a few minutes, the two of them were creating a huge `light show' that everyone in the village was seeing including three arriving ninja on a mission from the Cloud Village. Danzo and Naruto manage to get up to close range in which Naruto and Danzo fight hand to hand with Danzo trying to use his Sharingan which is glowing with a hint of orange light to use Genjutsu on Naruto, but Naruto, using his own Sharingan as well as abilities from Itachi when he transferred some of his abilities and strength into Naruto, manages to counter them despite Naruto's problems with Genjutsu.

 

Naruto yells out, strongly, “Your tricks are not going to work on me, Danzo!”

 

Danzo says, with a sneer, “Without Itachi's help, you would be nothing, Uzumaki!”

 

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “It is thanks to my friends and all that believed in me, including Itachi, which got me where I am today, Danzo! Someone like you could never understand that and even through Itachi did what he did for the good of the village, he was still just a pawn in your game, jerk! You use others for your own selfish benefits and it is going to stop here! I heard Pain's story and you showed your true colors as a traitor! You tried to get Hanzo's help when you tried to kill Pain and his friends and coup the Old Man during the last war!”

 

Danzo yells out, angrily, “I did everything for this piece of dirt of a village and it is time that it pays me back by making me its true leader, boy!”

 

Naruto exclaims, strongly, “You will never get that position, asshole! I'll make sure that you are tried and hanged as the traitor that you truly are, Danzo!”

 

Danzo calls out, angrily, “You will pay for those words with your life, Uzumaki brat!” Danzo then unleashes a burst of orange energy that sends Naruto flying back along with disrupting plenty of his green light constructs in which Danzo uses this chances to get to Naruto and bash him in the face with half-a-dozen strong punches, but Naruto grabs onto his hands and kicks Danzo in the stomach sending him flying backwards. Naruto then creates new constructs that attacks Danzo along with other Shadow Clones that weren't `knocked out' from Danzo's energy burst in which Danzo lashes out against them with more and more orange light weapons that he creates, but Naruto gets back with five Shadow Clones and he changes his eyes from Sharingan into Rinnegan eyes for his jutsu that he is going to use on Danzo.

 

Naruto tells Danzo, with a strong tone, “You should remember that I have the Rinnegan, too, Danzo! And I think that it is time that you face a very secret jutsu that I prepared during my `Hermit Mode' training and it is just for you, dirt bag!” Just then the Naruto Shadow Clone begin to gather fire, wind, water, earth, and lightning chakra into original Naruto's right hand and he is forming it into a sphere in which it turns into a Rasen-Shuriken in which he puts an energy field of willpower and hope energy to make sure that Danzo can't negate it with his Orange Lantern abilities.

 

“Secret Art: Aurora Rasen-Shuriken!”

 

Naruto then uses his Lantern and Ion energies to launch the elemental chakra powered Rasen-Shuriken fly right at Danzo in which he tries to get out of the way, but numerous Shadow Clones and green light constructs prevent from moving and/or blocking the attack. The attack slams into him with terrific force and he cries out in extreme pain and agony as all types of elemental chakra energy rips into his body causing a massive explosion. Before the smoke cloud even begin to dissolve, Danzo's unconscious form comes out of the clouds and crashes into the ground below with a very loud `thud' causing a lot of dust and dirt to fly into the air in which our heroes and heroines them assemble at the crater that Danzo's body created when he crashed into the ground.

 

Everyone looks at Danzo's torn form and John says, scanning Danzo's form with his ring, “He is finished, everyone. That attack nearly ripped him into pieces and he is barely alive.”

 

Ino says, looking around, “Does anyone notice something missing? I don't see that Orange Lantern anywhere.” Many of the others gasp in shock and look around to see the Orange Lantern Battery was indeed missing!

 

Lee asks, perplexed, “Where did it get to?”

 

Neji says, with a serious tone, “I don't know, but since the Lantern doesn't use chakra, I can't use my Byakugan to find it, everyone.”

 

Hinata says, with a smile, “My Byakugan can find it, Neji-san.” Hinata's eyes then turn from white into a violet color and she says, activating her Byakugan, “Since I became a Star Sapphire, my Byakugan has gained the ability to detect the other energies of the emotional light spectrum.” Hinata uses her `altered' Byakugan to find the Orange Lantern Battery, but she finds where it was and nothing else. Hinata says, with a serious tone, “I sense that the Orange Lantern Battery was here, but it is completely vanished.”

 

Supergirl asks, perplexed, “An Orange Lantern can't just get up and walk away?”

 

John says, seriously, “Unless the Battery had help to vanish, Kara.”

 

Superman says, seriously, “Something tells me that another force is definitely at work here, John.”

 

(In the `Dark Lanterns' realm; on the meanwhile)

 

Within the `Dark Lanterns' world, we find them looking in at their crystal ball as it shows an image of the Orange Lantern being sent somewhere by their dark powers.

 

One of them says, with a dark male voice, “The Multi-verse Guardian is proving to be more resistant than we thought and just more troublesome, everyone.”

 

Another one says, with a dark female voice and dark sinister sly tone, “That was just start of the battle and the real fight is about to begin, everyone. Sasuke Uchiha is about to enter into the picture and Parallax is close behind.” Plenty of the other `Dark Lanterns' give sinister smiles about that `comment' from their fellow Lantern of Darkness.

 

(Back to our heroes and heroines; a short time afterwards)

 

Sakura destroys the Orange Lantern Ring that Danzo while the bloody and broken Danzo is taken away by ANBU while she sends off plenty more ANBU to find Danzo headquarters and find out what else has done through his status as a traitor to the Leaf Village has been solidified when he attack the Hokage's office. Just then several ANBU appear escorting three ninja with Cloud Headbands on them, one is a young female is blond hair and icy-blue with gray and black somewhat revealing attire, the second is another female with dark skin, yellow eyes, dark red hair, and wearing thick ninja clothing with a sword strapped to her back, and the third is a dark skin young man with grey-white wildly spiked short hair, deep brown almost black eyes, with thick grey and black ninja attire with a sword strapped to his back as well.

 

One of the ANBU says, with a plain tone, “Lady Hokage, these are envoys from the Cloud Village with a massage from you.”

 

The blond female says, with an icy-cold plain tone, “My name is Samui, leader of this team. The people with my cell are Kauri, the red haired female, and Omoi, the young man over here. We are from the Cloud Village to deliver a letter to you, Lady Hokage.”

 

Tsunade tells Samui, with a plain tone, “What is this about, Samui-san?”

 

After Samui gives Tsunade the letter, Kauri yells out, annoyed, “Your traitorous Uchiha, Sasuke Uchiha, just kidnapped our sensei, Lady Hokage!”

 

Omoi tells Kauri, plainly, “Kauri, could you be a bit more respectful in front of the village's leader? And we are surrounded by ninja of this village.”

 

Kauri asks, looking at our Star Sapphires and DC heroes, “What freak show did you come from?”

 

Supergirl yells out, angrily, “Freak show?!” Supergirl prepares to attack Kauri, but Superman manages to hold her back with John using his ring to construct `chains' to hold the enraged Supergirl back.

 

Omoi asks, looking at those rings, “Hold on a minute! Where did you get those rings?”

 

Tsunade says, with a plain tone, “I'm sorry, Omoi-san, but that's information only that only our guests and top members of the Leaf Village is allowed to know.”

 

Kauri says, seriously, “That's bull, Lady Hokage! We have reports that Sasuke Uchiha used a yellow ring similar to that one that green guy is using to create stuff like that!”

 

Naruto and his friends, allies, and/or loved ones gasps in shock and Naruto says, lowly, “What we heard is true and Sasuke is using a Sinestro Corps power ring.”

 

However, the Cloud Ninja got wind of that and Kauri says, preparing to draw her sword, “You know about Sasuke Uchiha? We're here for information, so, you had better start talking!” Naruto looks Kauri and before she knew what was happening, Kauri was encased in tons of green light weights and chains causing her to fall to the ground.

 

Omoi says, stunned, “What the?! You had better release her, pal, or I will…!”

 

Samui says, plainly, “Look up, Omoi.” When Omoi looks up, he is surprised to see tons of green light swords, knives, kunai, shuriken, and whatnot above ready to strike him down at a moment's notices.

 

Omoi says, with a nod, “I get what you are saying, Samui.” Omoi `stands down' and the green light constructs of Naruto vanish in an instant causing Kauri to stand up in which Omoi tells Kauri, plainly, “Don't be an idiot, Kauri. That guy make look a bit plain, but he has the strength to wipe us out with a thought.”

 

Kakashi says, with a plain tone, “I suggest that you, three, also cool it for the moment, Kauri-san.”

 

Samui asks, plainly, “May I ask about that `light show' just as we arrived in your village, Lady Hokage?”

 

Tsunade replies, plainly, “Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze, the boy who created the `green weapons' to restrain your comrades, was taking care of a traitor that tried to use a recently attack on our village to gain my position as Hokage. He also recently stopped an invasion of our village by one of its top members known as Pain.”

Samui looks at Naruto and she says, plainly, “That's interesting to know, Lady Hokage.”

 

Omoi asks, curiously, “Single-handed?”

 

Tsunade says, with a smile, “That's correct, Omoi-san.”

 

Omoi says, looking at Naruto with a curious smirk, “That's really interesting to know, Lady Hokage.”

 

Yamato thinks in his mind, “Something tells me that they know plenty about the Akatsuki through not everything that we know about Madara's organization.”

 

When Tsunade is done with the letter, Shizune asks, curiously, “What does the letter say, Lady Tsunade?”

 

Tsunade says, with a serious tone, “The Raikage is calling for a meeting of the Five Kages in neutral territory: Land of Iron.”

 

Ino asks, curiously, “Land of Iron?”

 

Shino says, with a plain tone, “The Land of Iron is an icy and snow covered country run by a name known as Mifune and it wasn't involved in the ninja wars of the past. In fact, they don't have ninja of their own, but they have samurai warriors.”

 

Kyle asks, curiously, “Samurai warriors?”

 

Shino says, with a plain tone, “These samurai warrior are said to have abilities that rival ninja from the nations that use ninja and have ninja villages in which the Land of Iron also has a strong military to rival the nations that have the Five Great Ninja Villages including our own village and the Land of Fire.”

 

Kiba says, amazed, “Wow, guys! They must really something else to have that kind of reputation!”

 

Kakashi asks Tsunade, “Lady Hokage, what about the Cloud Ninjas and their mission?”

 

Tsunade says, with a plain tone, “Since one of their own was kidnapped by a former member of our village, we will be in a hard situation if we don't give them any information on Sasuke.”

 

However, a familiar male voice calls out, “You won't need to Lady Hokage since I'm right here!” Just then a building nearby is destroyed in a huge explosion that includes yellow light energy and when the smoke, dirt, and dust from the destruction of the building fades away, Sasuke, surrounded by a yellow energy aura and his Sharingan eyes blazing, and Team Hawk are in front of them.

 

Naruto says, stunned, “Sasuke…”

 

Sasuke says, eyeing Naruto, “What's the matter, dobe? No witty comeback or joke? You said that you would bring me back to the village and here I am, but I'm not returning to the village. I'm here to destroy this rotten village from the face of this earth!”

 

The three Cloud Ninja rush in and Kauri yells out, strongly, “You aren't destroying anything and you are returning our sensei to us, Uchiha!”

 

Sasuke says, plainly, “You bore me, weaklings.” Sasuke then uses his yellow power ring to easily stop them, entrap them, and he ruthlessly bashes them on the ground and on the sides of building without any compassion, but then a green power saw `cuts' the three Cloud Ninja, who are now badly battered through still conscious, and Sasuke looks to see Naruto stepping forward in front of him in which Sasuke sees he is the one that stopped him. Sasuke says, plainly, “It looks like Madara and Zetsu were right about you, dobe. You have gained new strength and abilities, but it won't be enough to stop my revenge.”

 

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “Sasuke, you need to stop this. This isn't what your brother, Itachi, would have wanted, Sasuke.”

 

Sasuke says, with a serious tone, “So, you know the truth about my brother? But don't ever talk as if you knew him, dobe!” Sasuke unleashes a yellow energy burst from his yellow ring, but Naruto easily shield himself against Sasuke's attack. Sasuke tells Naruto, with a serious tone, “If you need to know, Naruto, I met Madara Uchiha since he told me that you met and exposed him to your group, dobe. Madara told me the truth about my brother and my clan. It was the Leaf Village that destroyed my clan and they used my brother as their pawn! They used his feeling to turn him into their instrument that destroyed my clan and my family! They dragged his name and the name of my clan through the mud just for their precious village which we, Uchiha, help establish in the first place!”

 

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “This isn't your fault since you didn't know at the time, but it was the Uchiha that tried to stage a coup and overthrow the village!”

 

Sasuke says, with a snort, “And my father was the leader of the coup, but it was the village that drove my clan to such extremes! They blamed my clan for the attack of the Nine-Tailed Fox since our Sharingan can control the Kyuubi when it was Madara's fault and Madara was a renegade at the time. They separated my clan from the rest of the village and tried to control them in which forcing them to rebel in order to stop their oppression! And then Danzo and the village elders use my brother as their tool to destroy our clan, dobe! They sent my brother into exile and made him destroy his own name as well as his clan! Itachi may have done his duty willing, but he was just a victim of this village's betrayal of my clan!” Sasuke's yellow ring blazing with a strong yellow aura and he says, with a deadly serious tone, “Today, the Uchiha clan gets its justice through me! My vision of my clan is not the way that my brother wanted it and I can't follow through with my brother's wishes! This may hurt my brother's good spirit, but I will ensure that this village pay for its betrayal of my clan and when I rebuild the Uchiha, they shall be feared once more as in time long past! The name `Uchiha' shall be feared forever by all nations as `destroyer of villages' and their peoples that believed that they can betray my clan and get away with it! The Uchiha clan gets its justice today and I shall rebuild it as a clan of true fear!”

 

Naruto, Sakura, Kakashi, and Ino gasp in shock and Neji thinks in his mind, “Sasuke has truly become lost in the darkness! The `justice' that he seeks is nothing, but revenge and he shall stop at nothing to get it. Sasuke Uchiha has truly fallen into the abyss of darkness.”

 

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “You don't anything of the sort, Sasuke! I'll follow your brother's true wishes for the village and stop you right here and now! I won't kill you, but I'll stop you if I have to break every bone in your body! You better not underestimate me since I've grown stronger since we last met, Sasuke!”

 

Sasuke says, with a serious tone, “I don't care about how strong you have become, dobe! No one shall get in the way of my revenge Naruto! I shall not forgive them for destroying my clan and using my own brother to do their dirty work!”

 

Just then Fukasaku, with the large scroll that Naruto had on earlier, comes out of seemly nowhere and he says, plainly, “It is a good time that you had stick around after the whole battle with Pain, Naruto-boy.”

 

Naruto says, with a sly grin, “Just in time, Geezer Toad!” Fukasaku then unrolls the scroll and brings out a Naruto Shadow Clone still gathering nature chakra in which the clone vanishes in which Naruto's eyes gain the pigment around them while his eyes become yellow toad eyes showing that he has gone into Hermit Mode once again.

 

Suigetsu asks, perplexed, “What kind of trick is this Sasuke?”

 

Karin yells out, sensing Naruto's chakra energy, “Sasuke-kun, watch out for this guy! His chakra just spiked through the roof!” Sasuke looks at Karin in surprise for a moment, but he then looks only to get slammed in the chest by Naruto's left arm and he flies away with Sasuke under his arm. Karin looks behind him and yells out, stunned, “Sasuke-kun?!”

 

Suigetsu says, getting his sword ready, “How did that guy do that? His speed was incredible!”

 

Jugo says, with a plain tone, “He is a powerful warrior, Suigetsu. Sasuke will have trouble with him and even more so, since he is an `old rival'.” Team Hawk then returns their attention to the rest of Naruto's friends, allies, and/or loved ones.

 

Kakashi says, looking at Suigetsu, “Looking at you, my friend, tells me that you are an expert swordsman. You must be Suigetsu, formerly a member of the Mist Village.”

 

Suigetsu says, with a smirk, “I'm not surprised that Copy Ninja Kakashi would know about me.”

 

Karin looks at Sakura and Hinata and she thinks, perplexed, “What's up with those outfits? Through I can tell that they are pretty strong ninja including that Hyuga Girl.” When Karin notices their rings, she thinks, “Wait a minute! Those rings! I heard them on the explanation about those rings that Sasuke and Madara used! Those must the rings of those Star Sapphires, the all-female `Lantern Corps', the creators of these rings, who uses the energy of love for the energy of their power rings!” Karin thinks in her mind, with a mental smirk, “I wonder: What would Sasuke-kun think of me in that uniform?” Back with Sasuke and Naruto, Sasuke grabs onto Naruto and uses his ring to fling them forward into a building in which Sasuke uses Naruto's body to take the blunt of the impact. Sasuke leaps out of the building, but Naruto does the same thing and he doesn't look the least bit injured.

 

Naruto tells Sasuke, with a sly smirk, “Nice try, Sasuke.”

 

Sasuke says, with a smirk, “It looks like you have developed your abilities since we last met, Naruto.” Sasuke says, with a serious tone, “Doesn't mean that you will win, dobe.”

 

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “We're going to have to see about that, Sasuke.” Sasuke and Naruto charge at each other and they immediately engage in Taijutsu combat with kicks, punches, grabs, and jabs, but Naruto's Taijutsu attacks were far stronger than Sasuke, thanks to Hermit Mode. However, unlike what happened with Pain, Sasuke's protection ring aura managed soften the blows, but Sasuke still felt them especially the one that slammed right into his chest.

 

Sasuke thinks in his mind, stunned, “How can this be possible? The dobe blows have become incredibly powerful and it is only with my ring's protective aura that I can withstand the blows! Naruto can't be so powerful in just a short amount of time! I won't let the dobe stop me from getting my justice for what this village did to my clan!” Sasuke gives a mighty roar and unleashes a yellow energy burst that blasts Naruto back, but Naruto, boosted by his Hermit Mode and Ion, is barely affected by Sasuke's attack and Sasuke unleashes dozens of yellow energy kunai and shuriken in which Naruto shield himself with a green energy shield, but then Sasuke hits Naruto by sidestepping to Naruto's left and landing a strong kick to the side. Sasuke then gets behind Naruto, going back to back with him, grabs him by the shoulders, and he flips him forward in which he lands on the ground, hard, but Naruto manages to flip back to his feet and facing his former friend.

 

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “Sasuke, you are not going to destroy my home and the home that my father gave everything to protect without going through me!”

 

Sasuke asks, perplexed, “Your father?”

 

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “My father's name was Minato Namikaze, Sasuke. He was the very person, the Fourth Hokage, who sealed the fox within my body, Sasuke!”

 

Sasuke's eyes widen and Sasuke says, with a serious tone, “It makes sense now while the Fourth Hokage did this to you, Naruto. Who could he ask any children of his village to do what he did to you? Most likely, he tried to make it that you would be treated as a hero and the village didn't listen to your father. But that means that this village should be your enemy, too, dobe! They abused and mistreated you, the Fourth Hokage's son! Why would you defend them? They disobeyed the Fourth Hokage and hurt his own flesh and blood!”

 

Naruto says, pointing somewhere, “If you want to know, Sasuke, then look over there and remember who I am!” Sasuke then looks to see Naruto's friends, allies, and/or loved ones battling against Team Hawk, Neji and Hinata having trouble with Suigetsu's water-like body, Lee and Tenten taking on Jugo, and Sakura using her Star Sapphire ring to encase Karin in `crystal cuffs'.

 

Sasuke asks, seeing Sakura, “Is that Sakura?”

 

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “That's right, Sasuke-teme! She has become a Star Sapphire and she did because of me!” When Sasuke looks at Naruto, he tells him, “Sakura truly did care for you with her heart while she was starting to become better friends with me. You broke her heart when you left and I gave her hope when I would bring her back, but she would help me bring you back Sasuke! She grew stronger in ways beyond your imagination and she is Tsunade's protégé like I'm with Pervy Sage's student, Sasuke! However, you lost her heart and I gained it along with Hinata-chan's heart! They became Star Sapphires in order to gain strength to protect me and all the `precious people' that Hinata-chan and Sakura-chan has! It is those type of people, people that went out of there way to care for me and become close to me, Sasuke! Iruka-sensei saw beyond the fox and cared for me in which my `precious' people! But it is far more than that, Sasuke: I also continue to protect this village for the dreams of my father and all of the Hokage! The dream of peace for this village and all of the people in it! My father believed in me when he sealed the fox inside of me, but he also gave me the mission for peace! And after I beat Pain, I took the mission that Pervy Sage started: To finally end the cycle of hatred that life of the ninja brings and bring peace to our world! And that's why I'm going to become Hokage: I don't need to gain the respect of the people of the village because I know that they see me now for who I am and not what I contain! This time, I'm becoming Hokage to exceed my dad, our home's Fourth Hokage, and all the Hokage before him in order to make sure that their dream and Tsunade's dream come true in which our home finally has peace! I fight for everyone!”

 

Sasuke says, with a snort, “How ridiculous, dobe! Your useless dream will be doomed to fail, Naruto! And you can never stop the cycle of war and rage that our world has with the ninja! Give it up, Naruto!”

 

Naruto tells Sasuke, with a serious tone, “I'm telling you like I told Pain: You will need to give up if you want to make me give ups Sasuke! You are getting this village over my dead body, but I don't intend to die and if you don't give it up, I will break every bone in your body to do so, Sasuke! This madness ends right here and now because I know now with everyone on my side, they give me more strength than you can ever imagine in a lifetime, Sasuke-teme! Let's end this right here and now, teme!”

 

Sasuke says, with a serious glare, “For once, dobe, we agree on something! It is time to end this between us right here and now and you know how it will only end between us, Naruto!” Naruto's body gives off a powerful green aura as the Ion energy coursed through him along with the nature chakra mixed with his own body's chakra and the two former friends and comrades charge at each other with the full intent to fight each other to the death if necessary for fate of the recently rebuilt Leaf Village. The two of them creates thousands to millions of different times of light constructs with Sasuke using his yellow power ring and Naruto using a combination of his power rings and Ion power and attack each other with them while attack each other with Taijutsu type assaults. Sasuke tried to use his Lion Barrage on Naruto, but Naruto manages dodge the attack before Sasuke could even start it with Naruto using green constructs of himself to try to use his version of Lee's attack. However, Sasuke dodges his attack as easily as Naruto dodges his and prepares for a classic Uchiha ninjutsu with some hand-signs.

 

“Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu!”

 

Sasuke unleashes a torrent of flames right at Naruto, but Naruto just stands there and then spins around in a twister in which he uses his Ion abilities to gather the flames around him in which he launches fireball made of Sasuke's fire jutsu attack right back at Sasuke, but Sasuke manages to dodge his redirect assault with ease.

 

When the flames run Naruto stops spinning and he says, through a bit dizzy, “You think that old trick is going to work on me, Sasuke-teme?! You really need to work on your material, teme!”

 

Sasuke retorts, with a serious tone, “Not bad, dobe! You have gotten better, but I'm still better than you, Naruto!”

 

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “At least, I worked on my material, Sasuke! Let me show one of my newer jutsu, teme!” Naruto then creates a few Shadow Clones and they start to gather chakra energy into his right palm until it forms one Rasen-Shuriken much to Sasuke's surprise.

 

Sasuke thinks in his mind, “It looks like a shuriken made of chakra! It looks like the dobe has been working on new jutsu!”

 

“Wind Style: Rasen-Shuriken!”

 

Naruto then launches the Rasen-Shuriken right at Sasuke and he quickly reacts by leaping into the sky, but the wind chakra shuriken expands out and Sasuke uses his yellow ring to shield himself from the assault of wind chakra. However, it was really hard as the force of wind chakra was incredible that Naruto's attack took a major toll on Sasuke and he barely managed to keep the shield up to protect himself.

 

Sasuke floats down to the ground and he says, breathing hard, “I can see that you have truly become stronger dobe, but you are not stronger than me, Naruto!” Sasuke then closes his eyes and when he opens them, his Mangekyo Sharingan are blazing and Naruto gasps in shock at the sight of Sasuke's new Sharingan.

 

Naruto thinks in his mind, “Sasuke's gained his own upgraded Sharingan similar to Itachi's Sharingan!” Naruto is then hit by a powerful Genjutsu of Sasuke's Mangekyo Sharingan, but he isn't effected at all in which he smiles at Sasuke, who closes his right eye in pain, and looks at Naruto in surprise. Naruto says, with a wide sly smile, “Sorry, Sasuke, but thanks to the fox and my newest friend, Ion, I'm not going to get affected by Genjutsu.”

 

Sasuke says, growling, “My Sharingan suppressed the fox before, Naruto!”

 

Naruto says, with a sly smile, “With Ion helping the Nine-Tailed Fox out, your Genjutsu is useless Sasuke-teme!” Naruto then explains about Ion, what Ion is, and what Ion can do especially while within his body to Sasuke.

 

Sasuke says, with a snarl, “So, Ion and the Nine-Tailed Fox can agitate your chakra and make sure that my Genjutsu is useless.”

 

Naruto says, with a foxy grin, “No joke, Sasuke-teme!”

 

Sasuke says, with a smirk, “And you talk about how strong you gotten while much of your strength comes from others, dobe!”

 

Naruto says, shaking his head, “You don't get it, do you, Sasuke-teme.”

 

Sasuke yells out, strongly, “What do you mean, Naruto?!”

 

Naruto says, with a serious glare from his `Hermit Mode' eyes, “My strength always came from others and they inspired me to get stronger as well as go beyond my limited which helped me to do, Sasuke-teme, if you like to admit it or not, teme! My `precious people' are my strength, but it looks like that's something that you will never understand! They give strength beyond any jutsu and chakra, Sasuke-teme! And as long as I have them and I fight for them, their dreams, and for others, I can never lose, Sasuke-teme! I may have lost you before, but now, I can see with all of them backing me up, I already won this fight! As long as I fight for this village and everyone in it, you already lost since you fight for your own selfish reasons, Sasuke-teme!”

Sasuke calls out, angrily and strongly, “You will never beat me, Naruto! I fight for justice for my clan, dobe!”

 

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “Your `justice' is nothing, but your revenge, Sasuke-teme! And while your revenge got you so far, it will end with your final defeat, teme! Believe it, Sasuke!”

 

Sasuke yells out, strongly, “Prove it, Naruto! Prove it by withstanding this, dobe! The jutsu that my brother gave me to protect me from Madara himself! Let's see you survive the flames that can never be put out by any water, Naruto!”

 

Kakashi overhears this and he thinks, horrified, “Don't tell me that Sasuke has gained the jutsu that he thought that he gained!” Sasuke's left eye starts to bleed as he prepare one of the Mangekyo Sharingan's strongest ninjutsu right at Naruto.

 

“Amaterasu!”

 

Just then Naruto yells out in extreme pain as he is engulfed by the black flames and the others, who are still fighting Team Hawk, but they are beating them back are horrified to see Naruto engulfed by the flames.

 

Tsunade yells out, horrified, “Naruto!”

 

Hinata and Sakura call out in unison, horrified, “Naruto-kun!” Naruto is engulfed by the black flames as Sasuke stops using his jutsu and he closes his left eye in pain.

 

Yamato says, horrified, “Sasuke had that jutsu and he used it on Naruto, Kakashi.”

 

Kakashi says, stunned, “I didn't realize that Sasuke had gained that powerful jutsu of Itachi's, Yamato.” But just then green light comes from the black flames and everyone, especially Sasuke, looks on in shock.

 

Sasuke says, lowly, “It can't be possible… even that dobe can't…” Just then a blast of powerful green along with blue light blasts out from the black flames and puts them out causing Naruto, somewhat smoking and slight burns on him, but otherwise just fine, come out of the flames.

 

Lee yells out, amazed, “That's incredible, Naruto!”

 

Yamato says, awe-struck, “Naruto just defeated the black flames that can never be put out: The Amaterasu!”

 

Kakashi says, with a smile, “Naruto never ceases to amaze me, Yamato. He is truly Minato-sensei's son.”

 

Sasuke yells out, shocked and angered, “How can this be, Naruto?! No can put out the flames of the Amaterasu unless they use a Mangekyo Sharingan like mine!”

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “Guess what, Sasuke-teme?! I just did and I told that I'm not going down with so much on the line! I said it ends right here and this madness and your quest will end right here!”

 

Sasuke yells out, strongly, “Nobody can end my quest, Naruto!”

 

Naruto says, with a smirk, “Just call me nobody then, Sasuke-teme!” Just then `Naruto' vanishes in a puff of smoke revealing this `Naruto' to be a Shadow Clone and then the real Naruto bursts out of the ground with two spheres of chakra in both hands right at Sasuke's chest.

 

“Hermit Style: Rasenrengan!”

 

Naruto then slams the two spheres of chakra into Sasuke's chest who barely manages to strength his defense aura with his yellow ring in time as the sheer strength of the attack sends him flying through the streets, through several houses, and he crashes into ground with a loud crash.

 

Karin yells out, seeing this happen to Sasuke, “Sasuke-kun!” Just then Karin is entrapped in a huge violet crystal by Sakura using her violet power ring in which she pounds on the crystal and screaming to be let out, but Sakura make sure that the crystal is sound-proof as well.

 

Sakura says, with a sly smile, “That should shut you up, wench!” Sakura asks Ino, curiously, “Was I really like that when I was crushing Sasuke?”

 

Shikamaru says, with a plain tone while holding Suigetsu in place with his Shadow Possession Jutsu, “Both of you were like that when you were crushing on Sasuke, Sakura.”

 

Ino yells out, annoyed, “Who asked you, Shikamaru?!” Ino says, grumbling lowly, “Even through you are exactly right about Forehead Girl and myself, Shikamaru.”

 

Just then Kakashi and plenty of other ninja sense something `big' coming and Kakashi yells out, strongly, “There is a powerful force coming this way and it has a terrible chakra with them!”

 

Tenten says, rubbing her shoulders, “I feeling kind of cold and we're outside in warm weather guys.” Just then a bright yellow light comes from above them and everyone looks to see Parallax, inside of Kabuto's body, floating down near them.

 

Parallax Kabuto tells everyone, with an evil smile, “It is nice to see you, again, Hal! It looks like Kyle is doing well too, I see.”

 

Hal and Kyle yell out in unison, “Parallax!”

 

Parallax Kabuto says, with an evil sinister tone, “Did you really believe that I could be contained forever, Green Lanterns?! I have returned and I shall have my revenge on you, two, along with all Guardians, no matter who or where they are! All universes shall live under my color alone: The color of fear!”

 

Guy says, with a serious glare, “We defeated you before, Parallax, and we can sure defeat you, again, you parasite!”

 

Tsunade says, with a serious tone, “Be careful, Parallax is inside of Kabuto's body and his abilities rival me in my prime and he has Orochimaru's cells within him now!”

 

Parallax Kabuto says, with a sinister smirk, “She is right, Lanterns! Thanks to my newest host, I'm even stronger than ever!” Parallax Kabuto then unleashes dozens of yellow energy snakes that wrap around our four Earth Green Lanterns, Superman, Supergirl, and Krypto and sends them flying through the sky in which Parallax Kabuto follows quickly.

 

Naruto sees this happen and he says, seriously, “This is just great! That Parallax creep is here now! And Hal-san and the others are in trouble!” Naruto prepares to stop them, but he then hears something and he looks and dodges a huge yellow energy hammer created by Sasuke, who is a bit torn with some minor cuts and bruises, but nothing major at all, however, he has a deadly glare in his eyes.

 

Sasuke yells out, seriously, “You're fight with me is far from over, dobe!”

 

Naruto says, pointing towards Parallax, “Take a look up there, Sasuke! That's Kabuto, but he is possessed by Parallax, who just like Ion, but he is a body-snatching parasite who is pure fear! He'll trash our world including you, Sasuke-teme!”

 

Sasuke says, with a snarl, “I don't care about him, Naruto! I'll take him apart after I'm done with you, dobe!”

 

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “Okay, Sasuke-teme, if that's the way that you want it, fine!” Naruto clenches his fist and prepares to fight, but he closes his eyes in which his green power ring gives off a green glow that makes it become like transparent with four beams of green light going into his enclosed hands. Sasuke charges Naruto and launches dozens of yellow energy kunai with explosive tags that explode around Naruto, but leaps up into the sky and onto the top of a skyscraper. On the meanwhile, Sakura and Hinata fly off to deal Parallax Kabuto as our four Green Lanterns prepare to confront the cosmic parasite of fear once again. Acting quickly, Naruto opens his right hand to reveal four duplicates of his own Green Lantern Power ring. Naruto thinks, with a serious tone, “It is a good thing that I learned that my power ring can be duplicated and with Ion, my ring can be duplicated and `programmed' quickly putting the rings at full strength!” Naruto says, seriously, “Ring, tell your duplicates to find four people among my friends that can overcome and send them off right now!”

 

Naruto's Green Lantern power ring replies, “Programming now, Lantern Namikaze.” It takes a brief time and the four Green Lantern rings shoot off towards Naruto's friends while Naruto blocks another attack from Sasuke Uchiha.

 

Sasuke says, with a serious tone, “You should be paying attention to your opponent, dobe!”

Naruto says, with a plain tone, “That's fine by me, Sasuke-teme!” Naruto then lands a good right hook to Sasuke's cheek sending him airborne, but he stops quickly since the attack didn't do much damage thanks Sasuke's ring aura. The two of them continue to engage with Taijutsu, energy beams, ninjutsu of all types, and ring energy constructs of all types. Back with the others, we find them looking on as Parallax Kabuto prepares to face against our four Earth Green Lanterns and two Leaf Village Star Sapphires.

 

Lee asks, seriously, “Isn't there anything that we can do Kakashi-sensei?”

 

Kakashi says, seriously, “I do not believe so, everyone. With the combination of Kabuto's and Orochimaru's own abilities in Kabuto's body, Parallax can't be beaten by them alone. I think that only ninja that have Lantern abilities can do it, but it will be tough since Parallax is much like Ion.”

 

Kiba asks, curiously, “How do we beat something like that with Naruto dealing with Sasuke?!” Just then four Green Lantern rings spin around the group of Naruto's friends and allies causing them to be surprised by this in which the four Green Lantern rings stopped in front of Kakashi, Neji, Tenten, and Ino.

 

The four Green Lantern rings say in their computer voices, in unison, “Kakashi Hatake, Neji Hyuga, Tenten, and Ino Yamanaka, all of you have the ability to overcome great fear.”

 

Ino asks, perplexed, “Where did these came from?”

 

Tsunade glances towards Naruto and she says, with a smile, “I have a really good idea, Ino.”

 

Tenten asks, seriously, “What do we do Neji?”

 

Neji says, with a serious tone, “Take the rings or reject them, Tenten. However, the Green Lanterns are a noble cause and Hinata chose to become part of one of the Lantern Corps for someone else and not for any selfish reasons. I can do no different, Tenten. If this ring deems me worth, I accept the duty of a Green Lantern.” The ring immediately goes to Neji's right ring finger and a bright glow envelops him as his clothes change into a sleeveless armored version of Hal Jordan's Green Lantern uniform in the `Green Lantern: First Flight' movie with green armored gantlets on his hands and lower arms without the mask over his eyes. When it was finished, Neji says, tapping on it, “I'm not sure about the coloring, but the armor is a nice fit.” However, Neji will his ring to make his top pearly white in color while keeping the armor of his legs green through the Green Lantern symbol in the center is still the same.

 

Tenten says, with a serious tone, “If you are going through with it, Neji, then why can't I? I'm coming along too!” The ring goes onto Tenten's right ring finger and while a green glow surrounds her, her clothes change into a similar uniform as Arisia's uniform through her top covers her cleavage up to half of the top of her bust and it is pink in color while her green high-heeled shoes are open-toed with a black belt around her waist with the Leaf Village and Green Lantern insignia in the belt containing various pouches for kunai, shuriken, and scrolls. Tenten looks at herself and she says, with a sly smile, “This isn't too bad guys.”

 

Ino says, with a sly smirk, “You aren't going to leave me behind, girlfriend! And if Sakura has the courage to protect the others, then this girl is going to do the same and kick butt!” Ino holds out her right hand and the Green Lantern ring slips onto her right ring finger in which her clothes change with her top staying the same through gaining the Green Lantern insignia in the center, she gains green fingerless fighting gloves, her skirt become deep green in color, but her boots remain the same. Ino says, amazed, “Wow, everyone! I wonder if this was the same for Naruto because I feel awesome!”

 

Kakashi says, with a plain tone, “I'm sorry to say that I'm going to have to reject the ring.” The ring then flies over to Lee as soon as those words come out of Kakashi's mouth.

 

Ino asks, curiously, “Why Kakashi-sensei?”

 

Kakashi says, with a sly tone, “I do have the ability to overcome great fear, but I'm not there, yet, and we will leave at that, Ino.”

 

The final ring tells Lee, “Rock Lee, you have the ability to overcome great fear.”

 

Lee says, with a nod, “I do, Lantern ring. And I choose to accept the noble cause of the Green Lanterns.” The ring immediately slips onto Lee's right ring finger and his clothes turn into an exact version of Kyle Rayner's current Green Lantern uniform. Lee yells out, exactly, “This feels incredible everyone!”

 

Ino says, with a serious tone, “Come on, everyone! We've got an overgrown parasite's butt to kick!”

 

Tenten says, with a sly grin, “You said it, girlfriend!” Immediately, the four new Green Lantern take off into the skies after Parallax Kabuto and the others while Kakashi gives a sly smirk under his mask. Back with Parallax Kabuto, he got just hit by a large violet crystal mace made Sakura.

 

Parallax Kabuto yells out, with a snarl, “So, you are Star Sapphire, huh? That won't be enough to stop me!”

 

Just then a familiar voice calls out, “I believe that we can aid in that Parallax.” Everyone looks to see Ganthet, Saint Walker, the other Green Lanterns that arrived, and the Star Sapphires arriving on the scene.

 

Parallax Kabuto says, with a sinister smile, “Guardian, it is interesting to see you, again.”

 

Ganthet tells Parallax Kabuto, “The feeling is not mutual, Parallax.”

 

Parallax Kabuto yells out, with a sly smile, “I thought that you little runts didn't feel at all, Guardian!”

 

Just then Tenten's voice exclaims, “Don't you ever clam it, you overgrown windbag?!” Parallax Kabuto turns to the source only to get plastered by four green energy beams right in the face and the newest four Green Lanterns float up to the others.

 

John asks, perplexed, “Wait a minute, folks! When did the four of them become Green Lanterns?!”

 

Ganthet says, looking at Naruto who is still fighting Sasuke, “I believe that since young Namikaze is Ion and he will soon become a Guardian of the Multi-verse, he appointed four new protectors of his realm by using the Ion power and his own ring to create four equally powerful duplicates of his ring as well as find ones that compatible with the rings.”

 

Parallax Kabuto glances towards Naruto, witnesses his fight with Sasuke, and he says, with a sinister smile, “My new host, Kabuto, knows about this boy. He is the new `Ion' is he?! From what memories I can access, the boy is an indeed Green Lantern since he can overcome fear, but he still has fear and I shall relish find out what it is!”

Hinata says, with a serious tone, “You won't lay one hand on Naruto-kun, Parallax!”

 

Parallax Kabuto tells Hinata, with a sinister grin, “We shall see little girl!” Returning to the battle between Sasuke and Naruto, the two of them fighting incredibly fierce and while the battle seems quite even compared to Naruto's battle with Pain and his six bodies, Sasuke doesn't have the level of chakra compared the Ion-enhanced Hermit Mode Naruto and little by little, Sasuke is getting beaten back more and more.

 

Sasuke yells out, strongly, “All right, dobe, you leave me no choice! I don't want to risk another Amaterasu, but I do have something just as powerful as one of Itachi's and my strongest jutsu!” Sasuke then unleashes a yellow beam of energy into the sky that super-heats the air in a way to create storm clouds and when he does so, Sasuke tells Naruto, with a serious tone, “This jutsu requires me using a powerful fireball jutsu that can only be used I used Orochimaru's `Curse Seal', but I lost that seal. However, I learned that this ring can allow me to do the same without using any chakra at all and I can use this jutsu more since it requires little chakra to use!” Just then powerful thunderstorms surround the whole of the village and Sasuke raises his right hand into the sky in which he says, coldly, “Naruto, be gone with a thunderclap.”

 

“Kirin!”

 

Just then Sasuke redirects the natural lightning from the clouds in the form of the shape of a huge dragon-like monster right at Naruto in which he is unable to dodge in surprise and he cries out as the powerful attack blasts into him causing a huge explosion in which Naruto's smoking form crashes right into the ground, hard, and creating a good sized crater from his smoking form. Naruto is motionless for a second, but he groans as he quickly gets up to his feet.

 

Naruto asks, weakly, “Did anyone get the number of that Boss Toad that hit me?”

 

Kyuubi yells out, strongly, “You weren't hit by a huge toad, Kit! You were hit by that Uchiha's jutsu and he wasn't kidding with the strength! You are lucky that you had Hermit Mode and Ion as well as yours truly to keep you safe from serious injury, Naruto-kun! That jutsu used natural lightning instead of lightning chakra and that makes it more powerful than your teacher's Chordi and Lightning Blade jutsu!”

 

Naruto says, lowly, “I kind of got that Chizuru-chan!” Just then Naruto notices new lightning storm-clouds form and Naruto looks up to see Sasuke preparing to use Kirin on him, again.

 

Sasuke tells Naruto, strongly, “This jutsu requires me only to direct the lightning at you and that takes little chakra, but I use a lot of chakra to form the clouds to gather the lightning for this jutsu, dobe! However, with this ring, I can form as many storm clouds as I need without using any chakra and that means I have this jutsu as much as I want, Naruto!”

 

“Kirin!”

 

Sasuke then launches another powerful natural lightning assault on Naruto and he gasps in shock as the attack heads towards him, but then he remembers his Senjutsu training.

 

Naruto thinks in his mind, “Since that lightning is natural energy and Sasuke's own lightning chakra, maybe I could use it against him!” Naruto then plants his feet into the ground and raises his hands in which he cries out as the lightning energy blasts him, but this time, Naruto seems to be absorbing the lightning energy through he is straining to do such a feat.

Sasuke asks, perplexed, “But how is Naruto doing this?!”

 

Naruto yells out, strongly, “My Hermit Mode is a combination of NATURE chakra with my own internal chakra, Sasuke-teme! Since this lightning is nature energy, it doesn't take a genius what I'm doing, Sasuke!”

 

Sasuke calls out, stunned, “You can't do this dobe!”

 

Naruto calls out, strongly, “I just did, teme! Here is your jutsu right back at you, pal! Believe it, Sasuke!” Naruto then blasts back the lightning energy enhancing it with his own nature chakra and Ion energy right back at Sasuke and he puts a powerful energy shield to block it causing the energy to hit the shield with incredible force in which Sasuke tries to hold back, but his shield collapses and he yells out as the remaining energy sending him into the ground in which he slams into it just as hard as Naruto did crating a good sized crater. Naruto looks at his former comrades smoking form, but Sasuke rises to his feet and he breathes heavily as he glares at Naruto.

 

Sasuke tells Naruto, warily through trying to look strong, “You have become stronger, dobe, but you will not win because you don't understand this hate of mine.”

 

Naruto replies, seriously and sternly, “This hate will only lead to more hate and more suffering in which the cycle of death the ninja world, our world, is under will continue, Sasuke. I made a promise that I will find a way to stop it and many people are counting on me, Sasuke-teme! I can't let you continue this cycle of death and I'm going to end this battle right now, teme!” Naruto then creates a familiar sphere of energy in his right hand and enhancing the sphere of chakra with his Hermit Mode nature chakra.

 

Sasuke says, with a serious snarl, “You are a true fool, Naruto! But if you want to play it that way, I will repeat your defeat at the Valley of Ends!” Sasuke then prepares a Chordi in response to Naruto's jutsu and the two of them charge each other as they plan to make this attack the final bow to each other.

 

“Chordi!”

 

“Rasengan!”

 

The two of them strike each other with incredible strength and force causing a huge column of energy to be sent into the skies causing everyone even the combatants in the air to watch in shock and awe of the two colliding ninja titans.

 

Superman says, awe-struck, “Great Scott, everyone! I've never seen such energy before!”

 

Neji says, seriously, “Sasuke and Naruto are giving what they got left to end the battle, everyone. This will decide what the end of their `cycle' will be.” The area around Sasuke and Naruto shake with incredible energy and the whole village feels it as the area around the two of them for a good distance is demolished while in the center of the column of energy, which is seen for miles around and even to the far reaches of the ninja realm, Sasuke and Naruto continue to fight for dominance in which Sasuke tries to strike Naruto in the heart, but he uses his Ion energy to block the attack while he strikes Sasuke right in the gut extreme hard causing him to gasp as the air was ripped from his lungs causing the final `explosion' of light and energy sending an airborne shockwave felt throughout the whole of the Fire Country. Soon enough, the column of energy fades away and the explosion dies down in which when the smoke and dust clear, Sasuke and Naruto were standing back to back in which neither of them moved. For a moment, nothing happened, but then Sasuke's eyes roll back and he collapses onto the ground on his stomach which signaled his defeat at Naruto's hands. Naruto then stumbles forward as he groans in pain and weakness from the immense amount of energy that he had to use against his former comrade.

 

Naruto thinks in his mind, “Even with Ion and my Hermit Mode, it was a lot tougher to beat Sasuke-teme than pain, but then again, Sasuke has been known to be a cut above my other opponents!” Naruto, his Hermit Mode de-activated, walks over to Sasuke's fallen form, but even through he is exhausted, Sasuke is still conscious and he can't believe what just happened.

 

Sasuke thinks in his mind, stunned, “How can this be? I had the Mangekyo Sharingan and I had the jutsu with the ring aiding me! Even with that `Ion' power helping him out, how could I lose to Naruto?!”

 

Naruto stands in front of Sasuke and he says, plainly, “I told you, Sasuke-teme. I wasn't fighting for myself. I was fighting for the hopes and dreams of this village and the people especially the Hokage, including my dad, our village's Fourth Hokage, who fought for a peaceful future for the village. They became my strength and I beat you with that strength. Nothing comes out of hate other than more hate and I'm going to end that hate.” Naruto then removes Sasuke's Sinestro Corps ring which tried to get out of his hands and Naruto crushes Sasuke's yellow power ring with his bare hands in which Naruto says, with a serious tone, “Your path of revenge, Sasuke-teme, is over and I win, once and for all.” Sasuke tries to groan out a response, but he collapses into unconsciousness soon after because his energy being totally expended from his battle with Naruto.

 

Kiba yells out, excitedly, “Naruto did it, everyone! He proved that he was more hard-core that Sasuke!”

 

Shikamaru says, pointing to Parallax Kabuto, “Don't celebrate too soon, Kiba. Naruto has still got to deal with Parallax and he is still fresh while Naruto has expended a lot of energy fighting Sasuke.” Naruto looks up towards Parallax Kabuto and he smirks right at Naruto.

 

Parallax Kabuto says, with a sly smile, “Excellent work, Naruto, but I won't be as easily defeated as the boy was!”

 

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “I don't care, Parallax! You are trying to spread fear in my home and I won't have that, jerk! You are going down!”

 

Just then a familiar dark male voice calls out, “Do you really think it will be that easy boy?” Everyone in the skies with Parallax Kabuto, minus Parallax Kabuto, gasp as Sinestro floats down beside Parallax Kabuto.

 

Hal says, seriously, “Sinestro!”

 

Sinestro says, with a smile, “I told you that I would return, Hal, and I see that your `mate', the leader of the Star Sapphires has returned as well! How amusing!”

 

Supergirl says, with a serious tone, “You won't be smiling for long, freak!”

 

Sinestro says, ignoring Supergirl and looking at Naruto, “So, you are the new `Ion', boy? The Green Lanterns must be getting desperate, but then again, I saw you use that power in some earlier battles and I must say that I'm very much impressed, boy! You have used your new abilities quite well, but you are weakened and this time, I won't let that insult to me be done with, boy!” While Sinestro is speaking, Naruto is floating up into the air with a serious look in his eyes.

 

Naruto thinks in his mind, “This is not good! I really took a pounding when I fought Sasuke and now, Parallax, in Kabuto's body, is here and Parallax is much like Ion expect that he is a body-snatching freak! However, he has full access to Kabuto's and that snake's, Orochimaru's, abilities and jutsu now, thanks to Kabuto putting Orochimaru's cells into his body! And now, this jerk has come back for round two after I pummeled him last time!” Naruto takes a deep breath and he thinks, seriously, “Everyone is counting on me and I can't let them down! Okay, Sinestro and Parallax, I fought Sasuke alone, but this time, I have the others to help me so bring it on jerks!” Naruto and the others prepare to battle Parallax Kabuto and Sinestro in another terrible for their lives and the lives of the Leaf Village which may prove to be their toughest battle, yet…

Tenten (confused): Who are those guys with that same symbol that `Superman' and `Supergirl' have?

 

John: Just what we need here folks: Superboy-Prime!

 

Superboy-Prime: That's SUPERMAN-Prime, jerk!

 

Superboy: Why don't you clam it, punk?!

 

Unknown `Superman': I think that Conner and I have enough of you, Prime!

 

Supergirl (perplexed): Who are you?”

 

Superboy (sly tone): Everyone, this is David Kent from Neo-Earth Prime! He is a special friend of those guys over there, Kara! Just call him Neo Superman-Prime!

 

John (stunned): A SECOND Superman-Prime?!

 

Superboy-Prime (angrily): There can be only ONE Superman-Prime, faker!

 

Neo Superman-Prime: For once, jerk, I agree! Conner and I had enough of you! Glitch, it's time to take out this insult to the `Superman' name once and for all!

 

Parallax: “I have you, now, Naruto Namikaze! It is time to show what true fear can do!

 

Sakura and Hinata: We won't allow you, Parallax!

 

Tsunade (shocked): The other Kages have arrived?!

 

Yamato: Next time on `Spectrum Wars': Fears, Kages, and Primes

 

Madara: It will soon be time to play my hand and my world shall not know what hit them!

 

It took me awhile, but I'm finished with this chapter everyone! I hope that this chapter and the one before it showed that even with Ion's powers, Naruto isn't `all powerful'. I hope that this `new trend' with previews for upcoming chapters will catch on in the near future!
