When Sasuke learns the truth about the Uchiha clan and his brother from Madara, through not the complete truth, Sasuke vows to destroy Konoha.

He allies himself with Madara and the remainer of the Akatsuki in which his team, renamed Team Hawk, go after the 'container' for the Eight Tailed Ox, a Cloud Ninja known as Killer Bee.

And he is deadly with swords and jutsu as he is bad with rapping!

On the meanwhile, Naruto is continuing his training in the DC universe as well as the Ninja Toads home which he finds that he can transport to with a help from the Ninja Toads back in his home realm!

However, his home, the Leaf Village, comes under attack from Pain and Naruto returns, his training complete, to take on all six of Pain's bodies!

With Ion aiding him and his abilties, will Naruto's new 'Hermit Mode' preveil over Pain and his jutsu?

And will Sasuke succeed in capturing Killer Bee of the Cloud Village?!

We have arrived at the fifth chapter of this story and you must be wondering a lot of things everyone! Like Naruto is Ion with two bloodlines and a `Hermit Mode'? Isn't he going to be a bit too powerful? The answer to that question is that with his Ion powers, Naruto is going to make mistakes. With his `Hermit Mode', his Ion abilities will allow him to use `Hermit Mode' longer, but not forever. I'm going to try to make sure that there are limits on Naruto's abilities. We've seen Red Lantern rings, Star Sapphires, Blue Lantern, Green Lantern, Sinestro Corps, and Agent Orange Lantern, but what about the Indigo Tribe? There is so little on them at this time that I'm going to try to hold off on them and bring them in when more information comes out. Are there going to be more `Ninja Lanterns'? There are going to more, but you are going to have to read to find out! I hope that answered the questions in your mind and let's continue with the story everyone!

Before I start I would like to give credit to Time-warlock for the inspiration of the idea, how the rings get into Naruto's `realm', Naruto and Itachi getting certain Lantern Power Rings, and other material that I didn't mention in this commentary.

Also, I would like to say that my information may not be perfect, so, expect plenty of OOC (out of character) attitudes, situations, and whatnot by the characters in this story.

Chapter 5: Battle of the Ox and Leaves

Around the time that Naruto left for our DC heroes home universe, we find Sasuke Uchiha and Team Hawk confronting a tall dark-skinned male that looks very much like the description that the Cloud Ninja that Sasuke interrogated about the `container' for the Eight Tails Beast. His name is Killer Bee and his indeed the Jinchuriki for the Eight Tails Bijuu.

Sasuke asks the man, “Are you the Eight Tails' Jinchuriki?”

Killer Bee replies, “Hey, bud, that's `Are you Lord Eight Tails, sir?' or `Are you Lord Jinchuriki, sir?' as well as all that jazz!”

Sasuke says, with a plain tone, “I am here to capture you.” Sasuke tells his teammates, “I'll take him down. Suigetsu, cover the right flank. Jugo, you are going to get the left flank. Karin, you have my back.”

Killer Bee replies, with a confident smile, “Let's see, boy…” However, Suigetsu charges in his sword, but Killer Bee says, plainly, “I'm in the middle of my rhyming and you, all, is busting on my time and now, I've got to spit on my line, you fools!” Suigetsu then attacks Killer Bee with his sword and creates a sword explosion of dust and debris.

Jugo says, calmly, “The Akatsuki told us not to completely wipe out the Jinchuriki, remember, Suigetsu?”

Karin tells Jugo, calmly, “Don't worry, Jugo, I can read his chakra loud and clear.” When the dust and debris clear up, we find Killer Bee holding Suigetsu's sword by his hand and Karin says, annoyed, “What a flashy diversion.”

Killer Bee says, rapping, “The only one gets to die me is me, yo! So stand back and stay back or you'll get wack, ya fool!” Killer Bee then throws Suigetsu's sword out of his hands and into the air much to Suigetsu's shock.

Jugo says, plainly, “Stay back, Suigetsu…” Soon after, Jugo alters his body and prepares to launches his assault on Killer Bee, but shortly thereafter, we find Jugo on the ground and Killer Bee leaning on Suigetsu's sword.

Killer Bee says, rapping, “Yo, my power's all a-flash with some still left in my stash! Eight Tails, that be me, da rapping Killer Bee! On with the show, yo! Yeah, this y'all initiated, but I'll leave ya humiliated! So, before you get all disintegrated…!” Killer Bee yelps as he bites his own tongue as he is `rapping' while Karin and Suigetsu sweatdrop at his `rapping'.

Karin states, perplexed, “What's up with this guy? I can't believe that such an unintelligible oaf got the better of Jugo of all people.”

Killer Bee says, muttering to himself, “Bit my tongue, yo.”

Suigetsu thinks in his mind, “He is also wielding my executioner's blade so smoothly. Who and what is this guy?”

When Jugo struggles back to his feet, Sasuke says, stepping forward, “I'll fight him next everyone.”

As the two of them prepare to fight, Killer Bee yells out, annoyed, “Ya made me bite my tongue, yo!”

Sasuke asks Jugo, “Are you all right, Jugo?”

Killer Bee asks, plainly, “Who the heck are y'all?” Killer Bee says, rapping again, “Fools, ya fools…!”

Suigetsu says, annoyed, “Give me a break here! He's getting on my nerves!”

Killer Bee asks, with a smirk, “Yo, who are ya? Why ya wanna capture me?”

Sasuke replies, bluntly, “I'm under no obligation to tell you.”

Suigetsu asks, annoyed, “Why do we have to fight such a weird rhyming guy anyway?”

Sasuke replies, with a plain tone, “In order to obtain the power that we need as quickly as possible, Suigetsu. If you don't like it, you can leave.”

Suigetsu thinks in his mind, annoyed, “That's YOUR prerogative, Sasuke Uchiha.”

Sasuke says, with a plain tone, “I also want to confirm their promise to give us the Tailed Beast is true or false.” Sasuke prepares his sword and power ring in which he says, plainly, “Either way, we're the ones who are going to use the Akatsuki, not the other way around. Don't any of you forget that.”

Killer Bee thinks in his mind, “Akatsuki, huh? Those are the dudes that made of with my fellow container, little kitty Nii!”

Suigetsu smirks and Karin thinks in her mind, with a grin, “That's so cool, Sasuke! I knew he wouldn't let himself be used as a pawn.”

Jugo says, with a plain tone, “Of course not, Sasuke.”

Suigetsu says, with a smirk, “Okay, everyone, let's hurry up and shut up this witless pain in the ear.”

Sasuke says, with a plain tone, “That's the plan, Suigetsu. It is time that I harness the new strength that I've been given and make this fool learn what true fear is about.”

Killer Bee yells out, with a sly grin, “I am not witless, you! I got charming flow, fool! Yeah, that's right!”

Karin sweatdrops and yells out, annoyed, “What a joke, everyone! He's got absolutely zero rapping talent!” Killer Bee sweatdrops at this and Sasuke then creates dozen of kunai knives with his yellow power ring in which Killer Bee easily dodges while taking Suigetsu's sword with him. Sasuke launches him at Killer Bee and uses his sword, but Killer Bee manages to block it with the Executioner's Blade forcing Sasuke to back-flip in which Killer Bee swings the sword at Sasuke. However, the Uchiha blocks the blade, flips up into the air, causing the blade to go under him, and he then puts his sword in which Sasuke kicks Killer Bee in chest near the throat causing him to drop the blade. However, Killer Bee doesn't so any ill effects and gets out a notebook in which he starts writing in it in which he doesn't even cough out! Sasuke notices this, but he quickly flips Suigetsu's sword into the air and the said ninja got his sword back.

Killer Bee says, when he is finishing writing, “I'm feeling real good right now, yo! Just put down the best rhymes, thankee!” Killer Bee then says, rapping, “So, now, I'm willing to play with ya tools, ya teeny baby fools!” He then launches his swords into the air in which he puts one on his left wrist, one under his left armpit, one on the right side right of his neck, one under his right elbow with his right arm bent backwards, one on his right thigh while his right leg is bent up, one under his right kneecap, and one sword in his mouth. He says, with the sword in his mouth, “I'll give you a taste of my hook!”

Suigetsu yells out, realizing something, “Watch out, Sasuke! This guy's used to handling blades! He's not an ordinary Shinobi!” Sasuke prepares himself for the assault and Suigetsu asks, perplexed, “What's up with that stance of his?” Sasuke quickly activates his Sharingan and uses his yellow ring to create a powerful shield around his body, but the force of Killer Bee's sword assault pushes him back more and more. Sasuke groans as he tries to draw more energy from his power ring to keep his shield up, but Killer Bee is relentless through he is surprised by the shield.

Killer Bee thinks in his mind, “What's up with that darn garn shield? It doesn't look like that shield is made of chakra, but some kind of yellow energy of some kind! This little fool has got some kind of tricks! Not surprise that da fool is with the Akatsuki, but I'm going to show that fool why this Killer Bee has got some gosh darn sting!” Killer Bee then continues his assault with incredible fierceness that Team Hawk was stunned in their tracks.

Suigetsu says, with a plain tone, “This guy is no slacker when it comes to sword.” Just then Killer Bee gives a huge push that blasts Sasuke back and sends him flying back as well as destroying his shield, but leaving him uninjured at the moment.

Karin yells out, concerned, “Sasuke, are you all right?” Sasuke gets back to his feet and uses his ring's flight to launch himself forward while using his Chordi Blade attack.

Suigetsu thinks in his mind, with a plain tone, “He is going to use something that guy can't defend against with his Chordi Blade!” But when Sasuke struck him with his sword, he gasps to see lightning chakra in Killer Bee's sword as well!

Karin thinks in her mind, shocked, “He can stream his chakra through other objects like Sasuke-kun too!”

Killer Bee yells out, rapping, “Yo, first I'm going float and fly like a butterfly and then I sting ya like a killer bee, yo!” Killer Bee then strikes Sasuke with several of his sword so fast that Sasuke couldn't get a shield or any guard up in time.

Sasuke collapses onto the ground, hard, and Karin yells out, horrified, “Sasuke-kun!”

Killer Bee then prepares to finish Sasuke and rapping, “And I end my flow with da finishing blow, yo!” Before Killer Bee can deliver that finishing blow to Sasuke, Suigetsu comes in and blocks it with his sword, but yelps as he feels lightning chakra coming from Killer Bee's sword.

Suigetsu thinks in his mind, knowing that Killer Bee noticed, “He knows my weakness is Lightning jutsu now!” Killer Bee then starts to cut into the Executioner's blade with his own sword, but Sasuke used his own lightning chakra to stop it and Jugo then immediately comes behind and lands a punch right in Killer Bee's face, hard. Karin immediately gets Sasuke out of there while Suigetsu uses his sword to destroy one of Killer Bee's sword in which Jugo launches him away.

Karin quickly removes the swords in Sasuke's body and she says, nervously, “Sasuke-kun! This isn't good!” Karin then unrolls her right arm to reveal tons of bite marks on it and she tells him, “Sasuke, you need to bite me! Hurry up and do it now, Sasuke!” Sasuke does so and Karin yelps as her chakra is drained while Sasuke's wounds are healed.

Sasuke gets back to his feet and he says, plainly, “Thank a lot, Karin.

Karin replies, weakly, “Sure, Sasuke-kun.”

Suigetsu tells Sasuke, seriously, “Sasuke, we are going to need to take care of him together! The fact is, this guy is super strong! We should go at him as if we are trying to destroy him, instead of not trying to do that. That way we can probably take him down without killing him, Sasuke Uchiha, but he isn't going to be easy.”

Sasuke says, with a serious tone, “I figured as much Suigetsu.”

Killer Bee looks down on Sasuke and Team Hawk and he thinks, “It seems like he used lightning chakra through his body to defect my attack and avoid mortal injury! That woman of theirs possesses the ability to heal others by letting them suck out their chakra!” Immediately, Killer Bee leaps down to continue the fight with Suigetsu and Jugo fighting him first, but when Killer Bee bashes Suigetsu in the chest, his hand goes through his liquid body and getting him all wet in which Sasuke quickly uses his ring to grab Killer Bee and slam him onto a rock in he uses his Chordi through the yellow energy to shock Killer Bee causing him to yelp out in pain as he is stunned. Jugo dives him to slam Killer Bee, hard, and Sasuke quickly releases Killer Bee just before Jugo slams his now enlarged fists into Killer Bee causing a lot of dust and debris to fly into the air. However, when the dust clears, there is a large crater, but Killer Bee is nowhere to be found.

Jugo says, plainly, “He's gone.” Killer Bee is on another Cliffside and observing Team Hawk from a distance.

Killer Bee says, silently rapping, “They may be puny, but they full on looney! I'm done flashing, going home and get my drink on, know what I'm saying.”

Sasuke tells Karin, “Karin, you know what to do!”

Karin says, with a nod, “I know Sasuke.” Karin uses her ability to locate Killer Bee and she yells out, strongly while pointing to his location, “He's over there!”

Killer Bee thinks in his mind, “She's also a sensory-type, too, huh? That woman is going to be a darn pain in my horns, yo!” Sasuke immediately takes flight with his ring and charges towards Killer Bee's position. Killer Bee yells out, strongly, “Sorry there brother Raikage, my man, can't be helped! Here goes da Eighth!” As Sasuke got closer, Killer Bee is surrounded by similar aura when Naruto goes into his Jinchuriki forms in which three energy tails come out and his body is surrounded in that aura.

Sasuke thinks in his mind, “Here it comes! Just like on that when that dobe access his own `inner demon's' strength!” With his Sharingan blazing, Sasuke sees Killer Bee zipping towards him at incredible speed, but he easily flies up and dodges.

Killer Bee thinks in his mind, “First time someone dodged one of my Eight Tails' forms since brother before he became Raikage, yo!” Sasuke then looks to see Killer Bee continuing on to Team Hawk.

Sasuke thinks in his mind, surprised and shocked, “He is going after the others!” Jugo immediately grabs Karin and Suigetsu and makes a run for it as quickly as he can.

Killer Bee yells out, rapping, “Yo, first I'll squash you all flat! Splat! Splat!” Killer Bee slams into the platform that he and Team Hawk were fighting on with terrific force and throwing Team Hawk down to the ground, hard, with Suigetsu landing in the water with Sasuke flying down to meet them.

Sasuke thinks in his mind, “Although he's got speed and power, he only moves in a linear fashion! So, with the Sharingan, I should be able to see him coming!” Sasuke calls out to Team Hawk, “Are all of you all right?!”

Karin replies, a bit weakly, “Yeah, we're okay.”

Sasuke yells out, strongly, “Karin, read his chakra and anticipate his movements! I need you to reply his location at all times!”

Just then Killer Bee bursts from the rumble of the collapsed plateau and he yells out, nearly upon Sasuke, “If you really think you can stay ahead, yo!”

Karin yells out, shocked, “Sasuke-kun!” Killer Bee was about to hit onto Sasuke, but he looks into Sasuke's Mangekyo Sharingan eyes and he is hit hard by a powerful Genjutsu causing him to collapse onto the ground in which Sasuke holds his right eye. Sasuke turns towards Killer Bee with a strong shield made by his yellow ring up, but then Killer Bee slams into him with terrific force with his shield barely holding Killer Bee back.

Sasuke yells out, a bit annoyed and mainly shocked, “But how?!”

Killer Bee says, with a sly tone, “You should never underestimate Lord Eight Tails, yo!” Killer Bee then launches Sasuke into a large rock really hard and bruising plenty of his ribs, but his injuries were lessened, thanks to his yellow ring's shield in which Killer Bee throws him back to Team Hawk in which Jugo catches him when Sasuke's shield goes down.

Karin asks Sasuke, concerned, “Are you okay, Sasuke-kun?”

Sasuke says, with a groan, “My ring put a shield that protected me from his attack, but he did manage to bruise a few ribs, Karin. However, Karin, it isn't anything that I can't endure.”

Killer Bee yells out, with a sly smile as his skin seems to peel off, “Want to know how I beat your Genjutsu, Uchiha? In order to break a Genjutsu, you need a partner who can agitate your chakra and wake up! My partner is the Eight Tails inside of me. Genjutsu doesn't work against Jinchuriki that have control over their Bijuu!” Killer Bee calls out, rapping as he continues to `transform', “Your illusions I obliterate, than you all I shall annihilate! My true mode as the Bijuu's abode is that of a monster see I told ya! Host transformation, yo! Now, look upon me as I make ya all pee all in your pants, ya little ants!” Team Hawk look shocked as they see the Eight Tailed Ox in front of them.

Karin says, stunned, “His chakra is incredible… There is just no way that he can have so much…”

Sasuke says, with a plain tone, “I can believe Karin.”

Suigetsu, hiding within the water, says, lowly, “A monster ox, huh? This must be his true form everyone.”

Killer Bee, in his Eight Tails form, raps out, “To spear my foes, I was born a glorious longhorn!”

Karin tells Sasuke, “His chakra is off the charts! We can't stay here or we'll be killed, Sasuke!” Killer Bee then charges the group and Karin gasps in shock as Sasuke prepare to throw up another shield. Just then Suigetsu, using the water from the pool of water that he landed in, slams into Killer Bee and holds him back.

Killer Bee calls out, “So, you are a water style ninja and you have the advantage of terrain!”

Suigetsu says, seriously, “I've got it from here everyone! Run while you can!”

Killer Bee yells out, as he brings his head back, “Yo, I'm not letting you all get away this late in the game, fools, ya fools!”

Sasuke yells out, strongly, “Suigetsu, get out of there! And get behind me as well!”

Suigetsu calls out, seriously, “What are you talking about and what are you…?!”

Sasuke interrupts and yells out, strongly, “That's an order, Suigetsu!” Suigetsu gives a `huff', reforms his body, and gets behind Sasuke as he encases himself and Team Hawk in a yellow energy shield. Killer Bee then launches a sphere of powerful chakra that causes a huge explosion that can be seen for miles around in which the case of two Cloud Ninja immediately take off for the location. When they arrive there, they are surprised to see Killer Bee in his Eight Tails form, but they spot Team Hawk in their Akatsuki robes, very exhausted and badly burned.

Karin says, “We are in a bad way and all of us are messed up.”

Suigetsu asks, weakly, “Now what Sasuke?”

Sasuke looks at his ring, he thinks about Team Hawk and his former team, and he says, his eyes glaring with intenseness, “I'm going to show him what real fear is out. I shall see if he doesn't fear fire.” Sasuke looks at Killer Bee as he closes his eyes, his yellow ring gives off a slight glow, and his left eye starts to bleed.

“Amaterasu!”

Sasuke then reveals his Mangekyo Sharingan and Killer Bee cries out as the black flames burst out from around him in which Sasuke quickly uses his ring to create yellow version of them that intensify the black flames even more. Killer Bee cries out in extreme pain AND fear!

Karin thinks in her mind, amazed, “Whoa, Sasuke-kun!”

Jugo thinks in his mind, “Those are the black flames that can't be extinguished!” Killer Bee thrashes and shakes as Sasuke's closes his left eye in pain, but keeps up the attack with his yellow ring in which Killer Bee dives into the water to try to get rid of the flames, but to no avail for the Cloud Ninja. When Killer Bee's thrashing forms comes down on them, Sasuke grabs the others with his ring and leaps back causing the other members of Team Hawk to be dragging with him. They land in the water, but they land roughing and scattered apart. A tentacle from Killer Bee in his Eight Tails form comes down on Karin, but Sasuke creates a huge spinning Shadow Shuriken to cut it off. But when another tentacles, covered in the black flames, heads for Karin, Sasuke tries to get her with his ring, but he is too late and tentacles as well as the flames slam into her causing her back to become on fire and knocking her unconscious.

Sasuke says, seriously, “Karin's on fire!”

Jugo tells Sasuke, “Karin's a goner, Sasuke! We've seen those flames and nothing can put them out!”

Sasuke says, seriously, “Jugo, wait! I started them and I can put them out too!” Sasuke activates his Mangekyo Sharingan, again, and the black flames on Karin's back dies out. Sasuke thinks in his mind, in shock, “I put the flames out! Could the Mangekyo Sharingan have the ability to put out the flames that it started?!” When the Eight Tails is crashing towards, crying out in pain and fear, Sasuke tells Jugo, “Jugo, get Karin out of there!” Jugo does so without hesitation.

Jugo asks Sasuke, amazed, “The black flames were put out, Sasuke!”

Sasuke says, activating his Mangekyo Sharingan, “I know, Jugo.” Soon after, the black flames were put out around Killer Bee in which he is revealed that his shirt is gone and he is back to normal as well.

Sasuke winches as his eyes hurts and Jugo says, with a plain tone, “The Eight Tails is barely alive, Sasuke.”

Suigetsu says, with a snort, “We managed to get him without killing him, huh? This oaf was more trouble than he was worth!”

Sasuke says, with a serious tone, “For once, Suigetsu, I agree with you!” Sasuke then uses his ring to put Killer Bee into powerful binds and he says, with a snort, “Jugo, you take Karin until she is able to walk again. Let's get out of this place.” Team Hawk then heads off into the distance with Killer Bee's unconscious form in toe, not noticing that two Cloud Ninja spotted them and noticed Sasuke's Uchiha insignia on the back of his shirt.

(Back on Oa; Four days after Naruto returned as the new `Ion')

Today, on Oa, we find plenty of the Green Lanterns repairing a few holes in some of their buildings that weren't there at the end of `Blackest Night'. When Naruto returned as the new `torchbearer' of the Green Lantern Corps, he showed that he had good control over his Ion abilities, but not great control in which the damage to the buildings are the result. Sodam used Naruto's ring to put a `restriction' on Naruto's Ion abilities similar to what Scar did to him, but to allow Naruto to gain better control of his Ion abilities. The ring allowed Naruto as much Ion energy as he can control without `collateral damage', but Naruto quickly completed the Green Lantern training and he managed to gain control of at least 75 percent of his Ion abilities which amazed everyone needless to say since he did in practically one day and Naruto trained day and night. However, three days ago, Naruto was taken by Ganthet in order to see if he is worthy and able to weld a Blue Lantern ring with his Green Lantern ring.

Right now, we find Kilowog talking with Kyle and Kilowog says, amazed, “This is just incredible, Kyle! He is only one of us for awhile and he is already our newest torchbearer!”

Kyle says, with a smile, “Sodam was a rookie when he was made Ion, Kilowog!”

Kilowog says, with a plain tone, “You do have a point, Kyle. However, the young Poozer did quite a bit of damage since he didn't know how to use his Ion abilities correctly.”

Kyle says, with a smile, “He needs to learn how to use his abilities responsibility and he know what that means, Kilowog! Plus, you admitted that he did well in the training!”

Kilowog says, with a smile, “I'll give the young Poozer that much, Kyle! He was incredible out there! He used his own natural abilities with his power nearly perfectly! Now, Kyle, I can really believe that Poozer could have beaten Sinestro! He didn't expect such abilities and he underestimated the young Poozer which is no surprise to me!”

Kyle says, with a serious tone, “But he'll be back and Sinestro won't forget what Naruto did.”

Kilowog says, with a nod, “He already has got it in you for you and Hal and remember what he did to Hal using Parallax to make him go nuts.”

Kyle tells Kilowog, with a sigh, “I rather you not mention Parallax since Hal isn't the only one that Parallax `got to', Kilowog.”

Kilowog says, a bit nervously, “Oops, I forgot, Kyle. Sorry about that Kyle.”

Kyle thinks in his mind, “And I've got a bad feeling about Parallax, Kilowog. He is supposed to be split into four pieces and stuck within our Lanterns, but John, Hal, Guy, and I can handle him since we have got experience. However, after Blackest Night, I'm not sure about Parallax. Ion got lost in another world, but what about Parallax?”

(In the `dark dimension'; On the meanwhile)

Within the `dark dimension', we find the cloaked figures with rings that use `darkness energy' instead of `emotional light energy' as they observe the Green Lanterns on Oa through their screen.

One of the figures says, with a dark male voice, “Naruto Uzumaki has become the new `torchbearer' of the Green Lantern Corps and he is on Odym to see if he is truly worthy of the Blue Lantern ring.”

Another figure says, with a dark female voice, “And we are sure that he has completed his Senjutsu training, thanks to Ion's help. We need to cause a little more chaos to slow him down.”

The first figure says, with a dark sly tone, “Agreed, sister. And I have such the thing.” Just then the crystal ball reveals a familiar yellow creature that looks like a huge bug with a huge mouth filled with fangs that extend outwards. It is the creature that `possessed' Hal Jordan and Kyle Rayner and it is the entity of fear born at the same time as Ion: Parallax.

The second figure says, with a dark sinister sly tone, “Those Lantern didn't even notice him leaving their Lantern Batteries. And we have the Agent Orange Battery read for `pick up' for the one that we chose to be the new `Agent Orange'. The Lanterns and all world shall know the true meaning of the phrase `from light shall come darkness'.”

(On the planet Odym; Around the same time)

On the beautiful planet of Odym, we find Ganthet and Sayd looking around for something or someone, as the case might be when Saint Walker, the first of the Blue Lantern Corps and a survivor of `Blackest Night' appears in front of them.

Sayd asks Saint Walker, “Saint Walker, do you know where our `guest' is?”

Saint Walker says, with a nod, “I have indeed Sister Sayd. He is in some form of mediation.”

Ganthet says, curiously, “Take us to him.” Saint Walker then leads Ganthet and Sayd to an area where they find Naruto, using his Ion abilities to float in mid-air, his eyes closed, and in some form of mediation position with Fukasaku.

Ganthet says, recognizing Fukasaku, “You are the creature with Naruto from his home realm.”

Fukasaku tells Ganthet, with, “I'd be that person or frog, in this case. I'm the Toad Hermit, Fukasaku, and when I had seen your world, I found it perfect to instruct my pupil since it teams with nature itself. It is a beautiful planet, Lord Ganthet.”

Sayd asks, curiously, “Instruct Naruto in what may I ask?” Just then Naruto gains a pinkish-red pigmentation around his eyes and his eyes open to reveal yellow toad-like eyes.

Fukasaku says, with a smile, “Hermit Mode, the Senjutsu art. This is where a fellow combines their own internal energy with the energy of the outside world namely nature energy.”

Saint Walker says, with a nod, “I have heard of things like this, Fukasaku. It is like `becoming one with nature' if I'm not mistaken.”

Fukasaku says, with a nod, “That it is, my friend. From where we come from, humans and all things in life have things call chakra and with Senjutsu, you combine one's own internal chakra with the chakra in nature itself.”

Ganthet says, with a nod, “And you taught Naruto here since Odym is teaming with nature life and perfect for such training.”

Fukasaku says, with a nod, “As you can see, here, there are some problems. One needs to be perfectly still in one form or another to gather nature chakra into one's self and you take too little and you can't use Senjutsu chakra. Take too much and you become a frog in which you turn into a stone. Hermit Mode requires a balance between internal energy and nature energy, but thanks to Ion's help, this is the result. The rings around his eyes and no toad features means that Naruto, here, has mastered Senjutsu perfectly.”

Naruto says, with a grin, “It wasn't really nothing with Ion giving me a hand.”

Sayd says, with a nod, “Very interesting art that your home world has, Naruto. However, I do see a problem. If this is use to battle and one must stand still to gather natural energy, how does one use it?”

Fukasaku says, with a smile, “You are quite wise, Lady Sayd. You see, we, toads, since we are the ones who taught Senjutsu usually `combine' namely I become attached to one of Naruto's shoulders. It splits the roles of stillness and action.”

Saint Walker says, with a nod, “One of you takes the nature energy for your `special art' while the other uses that energy for combat.”

Fukasaku says, with a nod, “That's right, my friend. However, there is a problem: I mentioned about that foxy spirit within Naruto. She isn't allowing me to perform the combination.”

Chizuru AKA Kyuubi yells out, in Naruto's mind, “I'm not going to allow some old goat to unite with my Naruto-kun! I may not be under Madara's `berserker jutsu', but I've got some pride as a kitsune you know!”

Saint Walker asks, curiously, “Wouldn't that make your technique unless?”

Fukasaku says, with a sly grin, “But that `Ion' entity within Naruto now actually made it that we don't need to `untie' in order for the lad to use `Hermit Mode'. It is a long story and I've already disturbed your time with the lad.” Fukasaku tells Naruto, “Meet me back at my home for the final preparations that we planned, Naruto-boy.” Fukasaku then vanishes in a puff of smoke while Naruto's eyes return to normal coming out of `Hermit Mode'.

Saint Walker tells Naruto, “Your people and culture are quite interesting, Brother Naruto.”

Naruto says, with a sly grin, “Thanks, Saint Walker-san.”

Ganthet tells Naruto, with a smile, “Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze, you understand what it means to take up the mantle of the Blue Ring and the Blue Lantern Corps.”

Naruto says, with a smile, “I do, Ganthet-sama. I have my own hopes and dreams, but my precious people always comes first.”

Saint Walker tells Naruto, with a nod, “You are quite a unique individual Naruto Namikaze.”

Sayd tells Naruto, with a smile, “Since you understand what it means to weld the blue ring, it is time for your final intuition into our Corps. It is unusual for someone to be a member of two Corps, but the times are demanding individuals like yourself, Naruto.”

Ganthet says, with a nod, “Sayd is right, Naruto. The `Spectrum Wars' will expand our `War of Light' into your realm and many other worlds beyond your imagination. You must be ready for the fight to come if you wish to save your world and many others from the coming darkness.”

Naruto says, with a nod and determined tone, “You can count on me, Ganthet-san.”

Ganthet thinks in his mind, “The rings have been given to him for very good reason and I can see what kind of individual he is. He has incredible will, very strong hope, kind and compassion, and caring of others. He is rare and he might be vital for the survival of all worlds.”

Naruto thinks in his mind, curiously, “I hope that the others are doing okay while I'm gone.”

(Elsewhere within the DC universe; On the meanwhile)

Within another part of the universe, we find Sakura Haruno and Hinata Hyuga, in their new Star Sapphire uniforms, battling a female member of the Sinestro Corps as young couples of various alien species run off into the distance.

Sakura yells out, strongly, “You won't break true love around here, witch!” Sakura then slams her fist into the ground using her chakra enhanced strength to shake the ground and the female Sinestro Corps member to stumble backward. Before she could regain her balance, Hinata Hyuga uses her ring to create ropes that trip the female Sinestro Corps up.

As the female Sinestro Corps member gets to her feet, Hinata activates her Byakugan and she says, in a determined voice not heard in her before, “It is time to end this! Gentle Step Twin Lion Fists!” Hinata then forms two large lion-like shrouds of chakra on her hands and slams into her opponent hard in which she uses her Gentle Fist to finish off her opponent. When the Sinestro is unconscious, she is trapped within a violet crystal containment field by Hinata.

Sakura says, with a smile, “Excellent work, Hinata!”

Just then Miri Riam, one of the first members of the Star Sapphire Corps, flies over and she tells him, with a smile, “Well done, Star Sapphires. You have protected true love from fear and hate. It is time to bring this Sinestro Corps member to be rehabilitated.” Sakura and Hinata nod and they take their `captive' along as Miri leads the way back to Zamaron.

(At the edge of the Hidden Leaf Village; During this time period)

At the edge of the Hidden Leaf Village, we find ourselves at a Leaf Village guard post with four Leaf Village ninja having been killed by Deva Path Pain and then his five other bodies as well as a blue haired woman with Akatsuki robes known as Konan, his close confidant, appears from the trees and shadows.

Deva Path Pain says, “Now, it is time to deliver Pain into this world.”

Konan tells Deva Path Pain, “It was unusual for you to take the time to search for Jiraiya-sama's corpse.”

Deva Path Pain asks Konan, “Why do you bring this up now?”

Konan tells Deva Path Pain, “You seemed disturbed earlier and I didn't wish to offend you, Pain.”

Deva Path Pain tells Konan, “Understandable, Konan. I wasn't myself when I searched for Jiraiya-sama's body, but I know better. He was dead and even through we didn't find his corpse, we know that he died by our hand.” Deva Path Pain tells Konan and his other bodies, “We shall split up into two groups: The diversion to keep the Leaf Village occupied and the hunt, those that shall find Naruto Uzumaki.” Deva Path then tells which of his bodies will be in which group and he tells Konan, afterwards, “And Konan, you shall be in the hunt group.” Soon enough, the six bodies of Pain and Konan prepare to make their assault into the Leaf Village.

(Sometime later; Back on Oa)

Returning to the home base of the Green Lantern Corps, we find Hal, John, Guy, and Kyle discussing some things when they spot a familiar light in the sky heading towards them.

Guy says, with a smile, “Look who is back guys! Our youngest torchbearer has returned to the roost gang!” When they look at Naruto, who is in his Ion outfit, he has a panicked look on his face.

John says, curiously, “He looks like in a panic Guy.”

Hal says, with a serious tone, “That doesn't look good.”

When he lands, Naruto says, with a serious and somewhat panicky tone, “I need to get back home! My village is under attack!”

Our four Green Lantern gasp in shock and Guy asks, curiously, “You are not pulling our legs, kid?”

Naruto yells out, strongly, “I'm not pulling your legs and I need to get home right now!”

John says, with a serious tone, “Okay, Guy, he is not pulling our legs.”

Hal says, with a serious tone, “You are going to need our help, Naruto. You can't navigate the universe alone.”

Naruto says, with a plain tone, “No kidding, Hal-san. I only got back here with my ring telling me directions that I barely understood.”

John says, with a serious tone, “I'll inform Salakk about our departure and we'll move out!” John then flies off to find Salakk and inform them of their departure.

(Back on Zamaron; A short time afterwards)

Right now, we find ourselves on Zamaron as we find Queen Apa'po, Carol, Sakura, and Hinata assembled together with a few of Queen Apa'go's attendants in front of a crystal containing the female Sinestro Corps member as she is going through her `rehabilitation'.

Queen Apa'po tells Sakura and Hinata, with a smile, “Star Sapphire Hinata Hyuga and Sakura Haruno, you have done well on your first mission. This Sinestro Corps member will be rid of the anger and fear in her heart soon enough.”

Hinata and Sakura say in unison, “Thank you, Queen Apa'po.”

Queen Apa'po says, with a plain tone, “However, it is time that you return home to reality and ensure that true love is protected with hate and fear of your world finally conquered. We have word that your beloved, Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze, is going home.”

Hinata tells Queen Apa'po, curiously, “Queen Apa'po-sama, is there anything different about Naruto-kun?”

Sakura says, with a plain tone, “We sensed that Naruto-kun has `changed' and not in a terrible way. He feels stronger and even more confident.”

Queen Apa'po says, with a warm smile, “It shows that you have a true and strong bond with him. We have found that Naruto Namikaze has completed his training and become a full Green and Blue Lantern. However, he is also the new host of the Ion entity and has become the Green Lantern Corps' new `torchbearer'.” Sakura and Hinata give expressions of shock and Queen Apa'po says, plainly, “However, even with Ion's abilities aiding him, it may not allow him to survive the coming darkness. You, two, must remain vigilante if you wish to protect him.”

Sakura and Hinata nod their heads and Sakura tells Queen Apa'po, determined, “We will, Queen Apa'po.”

Queen Apa'po says, with a smile, “We know that you will, Star Sapphire. It is time for you to return. Star Sapphire Carol, aid them in their return.”

Carol replies, with a nod, “Yes, Queen Apa'po.” Sakura, Hinata, and Carol then fly off to prepare for the journey back to Sakura's and Hinata's home reality.

Hinata thinks in her mind, determined, “Don't worry, Naruto-kun. We won't let anything happen to you. Sakura-chan and I will make sure of that.”

(Much time afterwards; At the Hidden Leaf Village)

We find ourselves back at the Leaf Village as we find mainly destroyed from Pain's large scale use of his Shinra Tensei technique and Tsunade is horrified to see such destruction. Just then Nagato senses something and before anyone knew it, a group of huge toads appears in the middle of the devastated village including Gamaken, Gamahiro, Gamabunta, Gamakichi, and Fukasaku, the Toad Hermit, himself.

Deva Path Pain says, with a plain tone, “He has finally arrived.” On the meanwhile, four familiar Green Lanterns start helping Leaf Village members, ninja or civilian, out of the rubble.

Guy asks, plainly, “Wasn't this just a village last time we were here?”

John says, with a plain tone, “This isn't anymore and it looks like that Naruto is going against the one guy that did this.”

Kyle asks, confused, “How can one person do this?”

Hal replies, plainly, “Remember, Kyle, based on what we heard, he has six bodies and a lot of energy.” Back to the battlefield, we find all six Pain bodies gathering together as Fukasaku remarks about this with his toad wife who he calls `Ma'.

Tsunade says, struggling to get to her feet, “I will never forgive you for this, Pain! How dare you trample on the jewel and dream of my predecessors?! I will finish you off right now!”

Deva Path Pain replies, plainly, “You finally comprehend pain, but I have no more use for you. The one that I seek is already here.” One of Pain's bodies, one with a spiked dome head known as Asura Path Pain, charges right at Tsunade, but before he can hit her, a powerful green shield stops Asura's attack and then another huge burst of green light energy totally vaporizes that Pain body in which Naruto, in his Ion uniform, but with a red version of the Fourth Hokage's cloak also around him and a large scrolls attached to his back and neck, floats into the battle field.

Naruto says, with a plain tone, “There is no need for Leaf Village's Hokage to bother herself with the likes of them. You just sit back and sip some tea since this ends right now!”

Tsunade says, seeing images of Jiraiya and Minato Namikaze, “Naruto…”

Gamabunta asks Fukasaku, “Gramps, doesn't he remind you and Minato and Jiraiya?”

Fukasaku thinks in his mind, with a smile, “Naruto-boy has suppressed his predecessors.” Fukasaku says, with a smile, “He is indeed, Gamabunta-boy, but he is so much more than a great ninja than his predecessor. Something tells me we are going to find out.”

Deva Path Pain says, plainly, “Naruto Uzumaki, you look a bit different.”

Naruto replies, with a serious glare, “I've gotten a major upgrade in the last few days. I go by another name, dirt bag, and that's Ion.”

Deva Path Pain replies, plainly, “It doesn't matter what you call yourself, Naruto. You will be mine all the same, Naruto Uzumaki.”

Naruto says, with a smirk, “We shall see, jerk, but did you forget about what I did to that `other self' of yours? I don't think that you want to underestimate me.”

Deva Path Pain thinks, “He completed vaporized Asura with one attack and that means that he can back up his usual boasting. Plus, Deva Path won't be recharged for sometime.” The rest of the Pain bodies assemble around Deva Path Pain with three in the front and one in the back.

Naruto calls out, “Come here, Gamakichi!” Gamakichi leaps off his father's head, lands behind and near Naruto, and while Fukasaku and his wife leap off, Naruto tells Gamakichi, “Take Granny Tsunade to safety, buddy!”

Gamakichi replies, “Roger that Naruto!”

Naruto tells Tsunade, “Granny Tsunade, I'll win this fight, but I need the rest of the village to stay out of this! I can't be worrying about everyone else!”

Tsunade says, taking out one of Katsuyu's clones, “All right, Naruto, but you need to take Katsuyu with you! She has intelligence that you need for this fight, Naruto!” Fukasaku takes Katsuyu's clone and puts onto Naruto's right shoulder.

Fukasaku tells Katsuyu's clone, “You will need to hide yourself the best that you can on Naruto's cloak, little lass!” Katsuyu's clone nods in understand and immediately goes into Naruto's collar.

Naruto asks Tsunade, “Granny, you see I've got an entity that's different from the Nine-Tailed Fox inside of me. I already told you about from the information from my ring. It is known as Ion and it has chosen me to use its strength. Ion's energy along with harness nature chakra allows to sense chakra for miles around, but I don't sense Kakashi-sensei's chakra. Is he away on a mission?” Tsunade looks solemnly at Naruto and Naruto says, with a plain tone, “I understand, Granny Tsunade.” Just then another of Pain's bodies, an orange haired girl known as Animal Path, brings out a huge rhino with Rinnegan eyes against Naruto, but Naruto easily stops its charged against him with both of his hands and with one mighty throw, he sends the huge rhino clear out of the village and deep into the Fire Country, which to Pain's surprise.

Deva Path Pain thinks, “His strength is unheard of even for a Hermit Mode. It must be this new `Ion' power that he spoke of and it must have to do with his `clothing'.” Animal Path Pain then brings out a large dog and ox to use against Naruto and Fukasaku and his wife immediately leap into the sky.

“Hermit Art: Frog Song!”

The two of them then use high-pitched sounds to stop the Ox and dog right in their tracks and Naruto immediately moves fast by causing his hands to glow in which he releases tons of willpower energy at the large frogs causing them to gasp in surprise. After a bright glow, all of them are in deep green samurai armor with tons of green colored weapons.

Naruto rushes forward and he yells out, “This armor will stay on as long as your willpower is strong, Boss Toad! It works like my ring and it can give you various weapons and protection from that jerk!”

Gamabunta says, with a sly smirk, “I'm going to really like this, kid!”

“Shadow Clone Jutsu!”

Naruto then creates two Shadow Clones, but he didn't use any of the hand signs at all and working with his two clones in unison, they form two large spheres of chakra energy and attacks the two large Rinnegan bearing animals.

“Hermit Art: Great Ball Rasengan!”

Naruto's two Shadow Clone slam the huge spheres of chakra into the animals with terrific force sending them incredible high into the air.

Fukasaku yells out, “Bunta-boy! Ken-boy! Hiro-boy! It is time to turn these animals into throw rugs!”

Gamabunta calls out, with a sly tone, “Two put down dogs, coming right up, Gramps!” All three named large toads leap into the air and draw various swords and weapons, thanks to Naruto's `upgrade' with that new armor of theirs. On the meanwhile, the real Naruto is charging the five remaining Pain bodies and one body with a round orange haired scalp known as Preta Path Pain step forward to battling Naruto.

Fukasaku lands on Naruto's right shoulder and he tells him, “Naruto-boy, you can't use ninjutsu on that one! He will absorb ninjutsu attacks and we don't know what other energy he can take into himself, my boy!”

Naruto tells Fukasaku, “Then it is close range combat, Geezer Toad!” Naruto and Preta Path Pain attack each and it looks like they miss each other, but then Preta Path Pain is launched backwards right to the edge of the village. On the meanwhile, the green armored clad toads take the ox and huge dog slicing them into pieces literally!

Deva Path Pain thinks, plainly, “I thought that Preta Path had dodged him.”

“Shadow Clone Jutsu!”

Naruto then creates two more Shadow Clone and he thinks, with a sly tone, “With Ion really boosting me up, my `Hermit Mode' is way stronger than without him! And I've got tons more tricks left and this loser won't see it coming!”

Deva Path Pain says, with a plain tone, “So, you have gained `Hermit Mode' as well like Jiraiya-sensei.”

Naruto asks, surprised, “Sensei?”

Deva Path Pain says, with a plain tone, “I, too, learned jutsu from Jiraiya and he was once my teacher as well Naruto. We are students of the same teacher and we should be able to understand each other. Jiraiya-sensei want peace.”

Naruto becomes angered and he yells out, while forming a Rasen-Shuriken in his right hand, “Shut up, jerk! What part of this is peace?!”

Deva Path Pain says, with a plain tone, “Since you can't see the forest for the trees are just not able to comprehend the true meaning of peace, Naruto Uzumaki. Just allow yourself to be captured and your death shall lead to peace!”

Naruto yells out, strongly, “Just shut up, jerk! I show you peace when you are in pieces!” Naruto then launches the Rasen-Shuriken right at the four remaining Pain bodies much to Fukasaku and his wife's shock. The four Pain bodies dodge as best as they could, but when it expanded only Deva Path Pain and other body got out of the way and Animal Pain was thrown by another body which was cut in half by the jutsu. Animal Path Pain then brings out large creature to attack Naruto, but he creates tons of green-colored glue-like goop that covers the creature and he easily flies out of the way while the creature crashes into the ground and it is totally stuck in place!

Deva Path Pain says, with a plain tone, “Deidara was right about you, Naruto. You don't listen at all.”

Naruto says, with a sly smirk, “And I'm usually right when I don't listen, jerk!” In another part of the village, we find Shikamaru noticing the fight near his area and wonders what's going on.

Shikamaru asks, curiously, “What's going on here? Who's fighting now?”

Katsuyu replies, plainly, “It's Naruto, Shikamaru.”

Shikamaru asks, surprised, “Naruto?! He's finally back?!”

Katsuyu replies, plainly, “That's right, Shikamaru. He has completely all of his training and he also seems to have new powers and abilities.”

Shikamaru asks, perplexed, “New abilities?”

Shikamaru winches from his broken leg and Katsuyu tells him, “Naruto doesn't want anyone else to interfere in this fight.”

Shikamaru yells out, stunned, “Naruto's gone nuts! They destroyed the village and he wants to fight them alone?!”

Shikamaru's father tells his son, “Shikamaru, don't interfere in this fight.”

Shikamaru looks at his dad in shock and Shikaku tells Shikamaru, plainly, “With Hermit Mode on Naruto's side along with these new `abilities', Naruto is in a class of his own now. The best thing that the rest of us can do Shikamaru is to wait here and not be a drag on him. You need to be patient, Shikamaru.”

Shikamaru says, stunned, “You can't be serious dad.” Back to the battlefield, the Rinnegan baring dog that was sliced up turned into multiple dogs and attacked the ninja frogs, but they don't do much with their armor. However, the frog slice up the huge dogs, they multiply even more into more of the huge Rinnegan bearing hounds.

Naruto thinks in his mind, “Even with Ion giving me a major boost, Hermit Mode can't last forever! I'll try to take them all out at once, but even if I don't, Ion still given me more abilities than I could ever ask to get Hermit Mode quickly restarted!” Naruto then creates tons of green smoke bombs and they explode at the same time creating a huge smoke cloud.

Fukasaku says, with a smirk, “Excellent work, Naruto-boy.” Just then the Animal Path Pain finds herself surrounded by darkness and it looks around to any signs of her fellow Pain bodies or her enemy, Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze. Just then a green glow from nearby, but before Animal Path Pain can react, she is blasted a powerful burst of green energy that rips her apart. Back on the battlefield, Gamabunta `burps' out Naruto and the torn apart Animal Path Pain causing the Rinnegan bearing hounds to vanish in puffs of smoke. Naruto then quickly creates a giant hand that reaches out for Deva Path Pain, but he manages to dodge it and charge along it towards Naruto while another Pain body known as Naraka Path stayed behind as Deva Path charged in. Deva Path got close to Naruto, but he easily created a shield that negated any of Deva Path's Taijutsu assault in which Naruto throws him off. Deva Path Pain tried a chakra blade only for the same effect on another shield. Naruto then creates thousands of green energy kunai knives and shuriken and attacks with them and Deva Path Pain barely manages to dodge them.

Deva Path Pain think in his mind, plainly, “Naruto seems to have the ability to create anything that he wants based on his mind. I was warned about the new rings that he wears, but I don't think that those rings can do something like this.” Naruto then flies into and gets close to Deva Path Pain in which before he knew it, Naruto sent him flying with a huge kick and he creates two more Shadow Clones with using the typical hand sign for them.

“Wind Style: Rasen-Shuriken!”

Naruto then unleashes another Rasen-Shuriken at Deva Path Pain, but before the Jutsu can hit home, Preta Path Pain seemly appears from nowhere and absorbs Naruto's jutsu attack.

Naruto is shocked to see him and he yells out, “That's the guy that absorbs Ninjutsu attack, but I already got him!” Naruto then looks to another location to see Naraka Path Pain on the left side of a head of a demonic-like statue causing Naruto to ask, perplexed, “What is that?”

Katsuyu's clone tells Naruto, “That Pain is a KEY player in this. He has the ability to revive the other Pain bodies.”

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “So, he is the reviver that Grandpa Hermit talk about! And that's why he went into the back when we first attack them!” Naruto asks, looking at Deva Path Pain, “But what about that guy? He hasn't shown anything too special yet Katsuyu.”

Katsuyu's clone replies, “I believe that he was the one that destroyed the Leaf Village and his ability might be unable to be used right now.”

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “I've got to take care of that one in the back hard and fast Katsuyu! Time for a few smoke bombs!” Naruto creates a group of them that explode and cover Naruto and his clones up in which two more green willpower energy versions of Naruto's Rasen-Shuriken come out in which Petra Path immediately moves to intercept, but they turn into chains that wrap him up and knock him to the ground in which a third chakra Rasen-Shuriken come out to attack Deva Path Pain, but just when it gets close, it shatters into pieces.

Deva Path Pain says, with a plain tone, “My power has returned, Naruto.” But just then Naraku Path Pain behind him is lifted into the air by a green column that comes from the ground and turns into huge thorn covered wines that impale Naraku Path as well as rip him apart. Deva Path Pain thinks in his mind, plainly, “What?! His target wasn't me, but Naraku Path!”

Naruto's voice then calls out, slyly, “Surprise, jerk face!” Deva Path Pain turns to the source only to get hit by Naruto in the chest that sends him flying and skidding backwards across the ground around one dozen yards. Naruto then says, with a sly smirk, “Just be glad that I held back, Pain!” Just then Preta Path Pain comes up behind Naruto and grabs him in which he starts to drain his energy.

Deva Path Pain manages to get to his feet and he says, “It looks like Preta Path can absorb your creations even if they are not made of chakra. Your creators are formed by energy and it looks like my Preta Path can absorb it.”

Naruto says, with a sly smirk, “How much can he absorb, Pain? Let's find out jerk!” Naruto then sends more and more green willpower energy into Preta Path Pain, he bloats up, and he then explodes into tiny pieces because he couldn't handle all that energy that Naruto sent into him. Naruto thinks in his mind, “Man! Even with Ion's help, I've exhausted a lot of Senjutsu chakra, but I've still got plenty more left for this Pain since he is the only one left!”

Deva Path Pain says, with a plain tone, “Such unusual abilities, Naruto Uzumaki. I don't think that they are normal you know.”

Naruto says, with a sly smile, “Since I'm going to beat you, I'll tell you! I got these awesome tricks thanks to a new friend! His name is Ion! He is supposed to be the living embodiment of willpower or something like that. In short, he can't do much without a host, but unlike a Bijuu if he isn't under the control of their `container', Ion gives all its power to me in return for allowing to stay in my body. It actually chose me to use its abilities!”

Deva Path Pain says, with a plain tone, “A symbiotic life-form made of living willpower? I see, Naruto, how you gained such abilities.”

Naruto then displays his power rings and he says, with a smile, “Problem was that Ion was so powerful that I couldn't control his abilities at first! I caused a few accidents, so, my rings was used as `limiters' to contain Ion's strength until I can use it correctly. Even through I gained control over its strength, I kept the `limiter', but they made it that I control the `limiter' and when I want to release those `limiters', I give a command to my ring or take it off, bud!”

Deva Path Pain asks, giving a rare amazed tone through it sounds emotionless, “You mean that you haven't been using Ion's full abilities?”

Naruto says, with a sly smirk, “If I used Ion's full strength, I could wipe out the village flat or split the planet in half maybe!” Deva Path Pain gives a slight surprised expression even through he kept looking emotionless, Naruto says, with a sly smirk, “I think that you realize now that you lost this battle before you even started it, jerk! Believe it Pain!”

Deva Path Pain replies, plainly, “I think not, Naruto Uzumaki. You are fool to use your `gifts' from this `Ion' entity in their fullest and I shall claim this Ion from you as well, Naruto.”

Naruto says, with a snort, “I don't see it happening anytime in this millennium, buster!” Naruto then charges into battle Deva Path Pain and he leaps back a distance, but then he manages to use Shinra Tensei to launch Naruto backwards. However, Naruto uses his abilities as the newest Ion to reverse the jutsu and send Deva Path Pain backwards instead.

Deva Path Pain thinks in his mind, plainly through quite stunned, “Naruto Uzumaki managed to reverse my Shinra Tensei? His abilities might be more vast that I originally believed and I may have no choice, but to THAT jutsu to defeat him!”

Naruto thinks in his mind, curiously, “If I can reserve his jutsu and Geezer Toad told me that it was based on gravity, I can't help to wonder if I can use stuff like he uses myself! It would hurt to try against this jerk!” Naruto then concentrates his Ion and Hermit Mode abilities and Deva Path Pain was sent flying through the air through a localized gravity field similar to Deva Path Pain's gravity abilities.

Deva Path Pain thinks in his mind, seriously, “Naruto Uzumaki has indeed forced my hand! He must know pain and I shall give it to him through the only jutsu that I know to counter him!” When Deva Path Pain comes crashing into the ground, he rights himself and uses Shinra Tensei to launch himself towards the tree line.

Naruto yells out, strongly, “What do you think you are doing, you coward? Get back here and fight like a ninja, Pain!” Naruto then flies off after Pain and Fukasaku trying to keep up with him, but he can't.

Gamabunta asks, perplexed, “What is that boy doing Gramps?!”

Fukasaku tells Gamabunta, “Naruto-boy needs to finish this battle alone and no one else can help him.” On the meanwhile, our four Green Lanterns are using their rings to aid the people of the village and they are quite thankful for their efforts.

Guy yells out, stunned, “I can't believe that one guy with six bodies could do all this to a place this huge! It looks like a freaky war zone here now!”

Hal tells Guy, seriously, “Remember Guy, this isn't like back home. There are people that can do things only metahumans and aliens can do back at home and there are plenty of them that can't do stuff like this Guy!”

Kyle asks, curiously, “How is Naruto faring in the battle?”

Just then an injured Hyuga clam member, Branch family, comes up and he says, “My name is Ko Hyuga and I have been observing the battle. Naruto Uzumaki is just incredible. He has destroyed five of the six Pain bodies with incredible ease!”

Many of the Leaf Villagers are amazed by that declaration and John says, with a serious tone, “With Ion giving Naruto and all of his own abilities a major boost, it is no surprise!”

Ko says, with a serious tone, “It looked like the final Pain body is in major retreat, but my Byakugan saw something with Pain's chakra. It is getting stronger and most likely, Naruto Uzumaki is heading into Pain's final trap!”

Kyle says, nervously, “That's not good!”

Hal says, with a serious tone, “No, Kyle, it isn't good. And knowing Naruto, he might become too overconfident in his abilities and he might run into the trap.”

John tells Hal, with a serious tone, “Hal, you and Kyle help out the kid! Guy and I will take care of the people around here!”

Hal says, with a nod, “Right, John!” Hal and Kyle then take off after Naruto, who is in hot pursuit of Deva Path Pain.

(In a cave somewhere within the Fire Country; Around the same time)

Deep within a cave somewhere in Fire Country, we find Konan standing by a machine with six legs containing a red haired man who is barely a skeleton with Rinnegan eyes and chakra rods sticking out of his back.

Konan tells the man, concerned, “Nagato, you have to stop this! Don't go this far, Nagato! Your body won't take the strain of the jutsu!”

Nagato tells Konan, plainly, “I'm sorry, Konan. The Nine Tails is too powerful with that mysterious entity he calls `Ion' within him to keep this up. This is my final attack and I need to make it count, Konan.” Nagato then focuses his energy and prepares to use it for some kind of attack on Naruto.

“Chibaku Tensei!”

(Back with Deva Path Pain; Shortly thereafter)

Deep within the forest near the devastated Leaf Village, we find Deva Path Pain sending a good sized sphere of gravity up into the sky and Naruto immediately spots him as well as the sphere that he sent into the sky.

Naruto asks, perplexed, “What did Pain just do this time?” Just then the huge sphere starts to gather Earth from everywhere around including at Naruto's location and totally surprised, he doesn't have time to counter as he is slammed into a huge sphere of Earth forming in the sky hard. Naruto yelps out, with a groan, “I had to ask that dumb question!” Naruto struggles to release himself from the orbit and the intense gravity causes him unable to focus his abilities including Hermit Mode and Ion-based abilities in which he yelps as he is sucked inside of the orb.

Elsewhere, we find Kyle and Hal using their rings to struggle against the intense gravity and Kyle asks, confused, “Hal, what's going on here?”

Hal asks his ring, “Ring?”

Hal's power ring replies, stoically, “Intense gravity field as caused formation of moon-like structure. Do not approach anymore or you and Lantern Rayner will be trapped in gravity field.”

(Returning to Nagato and Konan; A brief time afterwards)

Konan is seeing the huge sphere of earth on some kind of window or screen and she is amazed by the huge size of it which is even bigger than a large mountain. Nagato, in his machine, is bleeding greatly from the mouth and nose.

Konan says, amazed, “It is so big, Nagato.”

Nagato says, weakly, “Our opponent is the Nine Tails host and he proved to have abilities beyond what we thought, Konan. I couldn't go small on him and compared to what the Six Path Sage created, this is nothing, Konan. Regardless of what it took, Operation Nine Tails Capture is complete.” However, just then the two of them spot violet lights like star appearing the sky.

(Returning to the battlefield; A short time later)

Back on the battlefield, we find Deva Path Pain looking at those same violet light in which nearly everyone else also spotted them as well and then two violet energy beams hit the huge sphere causing violet crystals to burst from the inside and then the whole thing shatters apart into pieces.

Deva Path Pain asks, in a rare bout of surprise, “What? What just happened?” Just then a violet crystal star structure replaces the sphere of earth that Deva Path Pain created to entrap Naruto. With the sphere destroyed, the gravity field is also gone and the two Green Lanterns recognize that kind of structure.

Kyle says, with a serious tone, “I recognize that structure and that color of light anywhere.”

Hal says, with a serious tone, “I hear you, Kyle.” Just then the two Green Lanterns hear someone behind them and when they look, Hal gasps to see Star Sapphire Carol in front of them. Hal asks, shocked, “Carol?”

Carol says, with a warm smile, “Hello, Hal.”

Kyle thinks in his mind, nervously, “This isn't good folks! Guy, John, and I were hoping that SHE wouldn't be here for Hal's sake!” Inside of the crystal structure, we find Naruto struggling back onto his feet and wondering what just happened to him.

Naruto asks, rubbing his head, “Okay, what's going on here? One minute, Pain was sucking me into a huge sphere like a magnet and now, I'm in some kind of violet crystal! Hold on a minute, everyone! Violet Crystal! Could this mean that Star Sapphires are here?”

Just then a familiar voice calls out, with a sly tone, “It is about that you figured it out Naruto-kun.” Naruto whips to the sources of the voice to see both Sakura and Hinata, in their Star Sapphire uniforms, smiling warmly at him.

Naruto asks, stunned, “Sakura-chan? Hinata-chan?”

Sakura says, with a warm smile, “Who were you expecting Naruto-kun?”

Naruto says, stunned through blushes at the somewhat suggestive manner of their Star Sapphire uniforms, “You're Star Sapphires?! When? How?”

Hinata gives a giggle and Hinata tells Naruto, with a warm smile, “Don't tell us that you didn't know, Naruto-kun.”

Naruto takes a deep breath, sighs, and he says, plainly, “I did sense something and when I didn't ask Granny Tsunade about how I couldn't feel your aura or Sakura-chan's aura, Hinata-chan, deep down, I knew that something happened, but nothing `terrible'.”

Sakura tells Naruto, with a warm smile, “That's a deep bond that we share Naruto-kun. You share a wonderful bond with Hinata-chan and me, Naruto-kun, one that can never be broken.” Sakura and Hinata seductively walk over to Naruto and Naruto becomes nervous at this causing him to step back.

Naruto asks them, a bit nervously, “Girls, what are you doing?”

Sakura tells Naruto, with a warm loving tone, “Let us show you, Naruto-kun.” Sakura then kisses Naruto right on the lips with a deep loving and passionate kiss and Naruto can't help to flush to that in which he flushes even more when Hinata kisses him as well with same love and passion that Sakura gave in her kiss to Naruto.

Hinata tells Naruto, with a warm loving tone, “The Star Sapphire helped me gain confidence in my love for you, Naruto-kun. I've always admired you, but I never could tell you how I felt since you seemed so far from me. You were so strong and I wasn't even close to you, Naruto-kun. But the Star Sapphires helped me gain strength to show my love and spread to all worlds and protect love that Sakura-chan and I share with you.”

Naruto's eyes widen and Sakura tells Naruto, with a warm loving tone, “I did love Sasuke at one time, Naruto-kun, but my heart was so broken when he left us for Orochimaru to get the strength to kill his own brother. I knew that I hurt you so much in the past and not knowing really you is no excuse for it. When I learned more about you and learned more your `deeper secrets', I can't help to feel guilty about what I did to you, Naruto-kun. Then see how willing you were going to through with your promise and all that you were willing do for me put such a warm feeling in my heart. But my heart was so confused, I had feelings for Sasuke, but being with you put warm feelings in my heart. I thought that it was one thing, but I was so confused and my heart so torn, I didn't know what to think, Naruto-kun. The Star Sapphires help me sort through my confusion and see the one that I love so clearly now, Naruto-kun.” Naruto can't help to be silent of the two kunoichi Star Sapphires and he had great feelings for both of them which has been formed since out of all of his kunoichi friends, Naruto had the most experiences with both of them and cared for them deeply.

However, Naruto remembers his job and he says, with a plain tone, “Girls, I'm amazed and glad that you care for me so deeply and both of you mean so much to me, but right now, there is a job.”

Sakura says, with a serious tone, “We know, Naruto-kun. We saw the village and the monster that destroy our home that we all love and care for. We won't allow him to get with it.”

Hinata says, with a serious tone, “Someone like Pain must not be around and he threats all love and life of our world.”

Naruto tells Hinata and Sakura, “Hinata-chan, you and Sakura-chan need to let me go and do this alone. This is my fight since he is after me for the fox. He also might know more about Madara, girls.” Sakura and Hinata look at each other and they nod their heads in unison.

Sakura tells Naruto, with a sly grin, “You had better well be careful, Naruto-kun.”

Naruto says, with a sly smile, “This jerk won't get the better of me, Sakura-chan! Believe it, girls!” Hinata and Sakura each give Naruto a kiss causing him to flush before getting rid of their crystal structure in which Naruto immediately floats down to Deva Path Pain. On the meanwhile, Sakura and Hinata float down to meet with Carol who facing Hal and Kyle, but Hal has many mixed feelings for Carol's arrival in Naruto's realm.

Kyle asks Sakura and Hinata, “Are you two of you friends of Naruto?”

Sakura says, with a sly smile, “Nice to see you, again, too, Kyle-san.”

Deva Path Pain tells Naruto, with a plain tone, “Your allies might have saved you, Naruto Uzumaki, but I will still win even with your abilities.”

Naruto says, with a sly grin, “Don't count on it, Pain! I know your little gravity trick and I don't think that you make anything that big again without losing your chakra or something more than that!” Naruto asks, with a serious tone, “Where is the real you, buster brown? I know there is someone else pulling your strings thanks to the Pervy Sage! Where are the REAL PAIN?”

Deva Path Pain says, with a plain tone, “You noticed there is someone else pulling the strings, Naruto Uzumaki. You are far smarter than I give you credit for, but you will not find him.”

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “We'll see about that, Pain!” Naruto then slams his palms into the ground causing a huge amount of chains to come out of the ground, but Deva Path Pain uses his Shinra Tensei to disperse the chains, however, Naruto uses something similar to negate the gravity around Deva Path Pain and send him flying through the air. Naruto then gets up to Deva Path Pain, gets one of his chakra receivers, and grabs it tightly using his chakra to track down the real Pain AKA Nagato in which he does. Naruto yells out, strongly, “I have you now Pain! I know where the REAL PAIN is and it is time to get rid of the puppet!” Naruto then charges Deva Path Pain, but the five second window was up in which Deva Path Pain uses Shinra Tensei once again to blast Naruto back, but he grins as he creates a huge springboard the rockets him back towards Deva Path Pain and he creates a powerful Rasengan in his right hand.

Deva Path Pain thinks in his mind, shocked, “He used my Shinra Tensei as a springboard for his attack!”

Naruto yells out, strongly, “You know, Pain, you should give up trying to make me give up!” Deva Path Pain's eyes widen at those words before he gets rammed by an Ion and Hermit Mode boosted Rasengan that plows into Deva Path Pain with terrific force causing him to fly through about a mile of woods before his body stops in which it collapses into heap totally incapacitated. Naruto then flies up to Deva Path Pain body, creates an energy field around him, and takes a deep breath as the last of Hermit Mode energy fades out causing his eyes to return to normal. Naruto then flies up into the air and reaches Hal, Kyle, Carol, Sakura, and Hinata.

Hinata tells Naruto, with a warm smile, “Sakura-chan and I saw everything, Naruto-kun! You did it!”

Naruto asks, curiously while looking at Carol, “Who is this Star Sapphire?”

Sakura says, with a warm smile, “Her name is Carol Farris and leader of the Star Sapphires.”

Naruto thinks in his mind, “Where have I heard that name before? Wait a minute, folks!” Naruto looks at Hal Jordan and Kyle makes a motion not to mention anything causing Naruto to nod in understand hearing plenty about Hal and Carol before. However, Naruto gains a serious tone and he tells her, “Carol Farris?”

Carol replies, with a smile, “So, you are the young man, Naruto Uzumaki.”

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “That's me, Carol-san. We are going to have a talk later. I want a meeting with Zamaron Queen, Carol-san.” Hal, Kyle, Sakura, and Hinata look at Naruto with a surprise and they see a very serious glare in his eyes in which he says, with a serious tone, “That's later. I'm going to meet with the real Pain.”

Kyle asks, with a serious tone, “What do you mean by the `real Pain'?”

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “This and his other bodies are just corpses that he brought back to life with his own chakra, but they aren't zombies or such. They are just bodies given life by Pain's chakra and life-force in which he controls with his own mind. They are just living puppets, Kyle-san.” Naruto says, pointing to a mountain, “I used a transmitter on this Pain to find out where the real one is, but I'm meeting with him alone.”

Hal asks, seriously, “You can't be serious Naruto!”

Naruto says, seriously, “I am, Hal-san, but this isn't about revenge. He needs to answer some questions for me and I intend to get them. Get back to the others and tell them the same everyone.” Naruto then flies off into the distance and Hal was quick to know the serious look in Naruto's eyes.

Hal tells Kyle, with a serious tone, “Kyle, we are heading back down to the others.”

Kyle asks Hal, curiously, “Are you sure about this Hal?”

Hal says, with a serious tone, “The kid needs to do this alone Kyle. This is his fight and I don't think we are in a position to tell how to do things in his own home.”

Kyle says, with a nod, “You have a good point, Hal.” Kyle and Hal prepare to head off with Hal looking Carol before heading off in which Sakura and Hinata look at Carol in which she motions for them to join her as the three Star Sapphires follow the two Green Lanterns. Naruto flies by Gamabunta in which he throws him the large scroll on his back to him.

Naruto yells out, “Give this to Geezer Toad! He'll know what to do with it!”

Gamabunta tells Naruto, with a nod, “You got it, kid!” Naruto then flies off with the Deva Path Pain body towards the location where the real Pain who is none other than Nagato at his secret location somewhere distant, yet, near the Leaf Village.

(A short time later; At Nagato's and Konan's location)

At the location where the real Pain and Konan were hiding out, we find Naruto with the Deva Path Pain body in tow landing in front of them with a serious glare in Naruto's eyes.

Nagato tells Naruto, “We finally meet face to face, Naruto Uzumaki.”

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “You are the real Pain? You have got a lot to answer for, buster!”

Nagato tells Naruto, with a plain tone, “If you believe so, then you are a fool, Naruto. I do not need to explain my actions for those who do not understand true pain.” Nagato then launches a chakra spike at Naruto, but he uses his Ion abilities to easily create a blender that turns into dust in which Naruto creates tons of chains, weapons, and traps that entrap Nagato completely and making him unable to make a move.

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “It is over, Pain. Your invasion is done and so are you, jerk! I still have six clones gathering nature chakra and if there is any trouble, Geezer Toad will bring them here and I'll get back my Hermit Mode! Thanks to Ion, my abilities have expanded to levels that you don't even have a clue about! Believe it, Pain!”

Nagato tells Naruto, with a plain tone, “I can see now, Naruto Uzumaki. You restricted your abilities, but you had more than enough power to destroy me many times over.”

Naruto says, with a sly smirk, “I wouldn't say that, Pain. But I didn't use all of us because I don't want power and whenever I get strength, I use for the people that I care about, Pain! I protect them and all the innocent people which why I got this blue ring!” Naruto asks, with a serious tone, “I want to know a few things, Pain: Why do you do this? And why do you believe that this is the only way to peace?”

Konan asks Nagato, “You don't have to answer, Nagato-san.”

Nagato tells Konan, with a plain tone, “He is the victory, Konan. He deserves the right to know, my faithful friend.” Nagato tells Naruto, with a plain tone, “If you wish to know why pain is the only way to peace, allow me to explain my past and about how I got my Rinnegan.” Nagato then starts to explain to Naruto about his past and history with Konan…

(Sometime later; within the ruins of the Leaf Village)

Inside of the ruins of the Leaf Village, we find many of Naruto's friends and allies in the Leaf Village assembled together with Team Gai, who was on a recently and returned to the village while Lady Tsunade, who has lost her henge and fallen into a comatose state, lies on a mattress than the ANBU have made out for her. Ino is raving and ranting at Sakura with her new Star Sapphire uniform.

Ino yells out, strongly, “What is wrong with you Forehead Girl? Who said you can just take off and join one of these Lantern Corps? Don't you know how worried we were about you?! You are sure lucky that Lady Tsunade made sure that you and Hinata-chan weren't made to be missing ninja!”

Sakura says, with a winch, “Geez, Ino Pig, I thought that you were loud before, but this is ridiculous!”

Neji tells Hinata, with a concerned tone, “Lady Hinata, I don't know what I'm going to tell your father, Hiashi-sama. I can't understand why you would do such a thing, Hinata-sama.”

Hinata tells Neji, with a warm smile, “I did what I had to do, Neji-san. I follow my heart.”

Tenten says, with a smile, “I've got to admit that I kind of like the new threads, Hinata-chan.”

Neji thinks in his mind, with a sweatdrop, “You are not helping Tenten!” Just then bright lights come over the village as the demonic statue that Naraka Path Pain used shines a strange energy over the village in which people that died in the battle with Pain began to revive including Kakashi, who died overexerting himself with his Mangekyo Sharingan, and Shizune, who died by Pain's hands.

In his area of the ruined Leaf Village, Kakashi sits up, surprising Choji, who was watching him, and he yells out, “Kakashi-sensei, you're alive!”

Gamabunta asks Fukasaku, “Gramps, what's going on here? People that were killed by Pain are being revived right now!”

Fukasaku replies, with a sly smirk, “Naruto-boy has just finished the battle and this is just a bit extra, Bunta-boy!”

(Returning to Naruto; A short time afterwards)

Back with Naruto, Nagato slumps forward as his jutsu that revives everyone that recently died in the battle against `Six Paths of Pain' is finish and Konan hangs her head low.

Nagato tells Naruto, “It is done, Naruto Uzumaki. My work is finished through this can't finally atone for my sins against you and this village. I know that you have the ability to revive me and I ask you to let me go to final rest since I can't fulfill what Jiraiya-sensei wished for you and I do to in the right way. The rest is now up to you, Naruto Uzumaki…” Nagato then slowly closes his eyes and dies in which Konan releases the paper jutsu that disguised their hiding place.

Konan then wraps up Nagato and Deva Path Pain and she says, plainly, “Deva Path was our friend, Yahiko, and thus, he became Nagato's `main body' because he wished to follow our friend's path and dream. I shall bury them both and become the leader of the Rain Village.”

Naruto asks, curiously, “What shall you do now Konan-san?”

Konan tells Naruto in reply, with a plain tone, “I only followed Nagato into the Akatsuki and he is gone in which there is no reason for me to remain, Naruto Uzumaki, and our conflict is over.”

Naruto tells Konan, with a smile, “I want you to know my full name, Konan-san. It is Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze and I'm Minato Namikaze, who was my village's Fourth Hokage, son.”

Konan says, with a small smile, “The Fourth Hokage's child? I can see why he chose you to contain the Kyuubi, Naruto Namikaze.”

Naruto tells Konan, with a serious tone, “I know that Pain wasn't the true leader of the Akatsuki. Madara revealed himself to me because I forced him to do that and my father knew about him.”

Konan tells Naruto, with a nod, “I understand, Naruto-dono. However, Pain and I knew about Madara, but we didn't know much in the way of truth about him expect he is one of the most powerful ninja with his Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan. His Sharingan gives him a form of immortality, but I believe that they are damaged in a way and he is vulnerable. We had suspect that he had his own interested in the Bijuu and I think it has to do with his Sharingan. Be wary of Madara-dono, Naruto-sama, he is very powerful since you know he faced the First Hokage and he has survived so long. Even with your abilities, you will have much trouble against him, Naruto-sama.” Konan creates many paper flowers and she tells him, with a plain tone and smile, “Take these as a vote of confidence and symbol of our new alliance, Naruto-sama.”

Naruto says, with a nod and a smile, “Thank you, Konan-san. And if Madara gives you any trouble, just give me a call.”

Konan says, with a nod, “I shall, Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze.” Soon after, Konan turns into paper in which Nagato's and Deva Path Pain's bodies fade away into paper as well in which Naruto takes off towards the village.

(A brief time afterwards; Back at the Leaf Village)

Back at the Leaf Village, Naruto spreads the paper flowers down at the village in which he flies down, does a mid-air forward flip around five times, and he `changes' from his Ion uniform into his regular clothes as he touches down on the ground with his friends and allies including a revived Shizune and Kakashi.

Kiba asks Naruto, “It is about time, Naruto! What happened out there?”

Naruto says, with a plain tone, “It is all over, Kiba-san. Pain is defeated and dead. His partner, Konan-san, has quit the Akatsuki and returned to the Rain Village.”

Many of Naruto's friends and allies gasp in shock, but Kakashi tells him, with a sly tone, “It isn't no surprised that you did it, Naruto. I heard about it from the others about your `new abilities'.”

John's voice then calls out, plainly, “Hey there, kid! I think there are some people that want to see you, Naruto!” When Naruto looks towards the source, he sees tons of cheering villagers right in front of him!

One village yells out, excitedly, “There he is everyone! He stopped Pain singled handed and saved all of us from him!”

Another villager calls out, excitedly, “You were awesome, Naruto Uzumaki!”

A third villager cries out, excitedly, “Thank you for saving all of us, Naruto Uzumaki!” Many of the other villagers were cheering and giving their thanks to Naruto for his efforts in defeating Pain and saving them from him.

Kakashi thinks in his mind, with a wide smile under his mask, “Minato-sensei, it would do your heart proud if you could this today!”

Naruto can't help to finally seeing one part of his dream come with the villagers acknowledging him, but he had more important matters to attend to as he looks down at Tsunade and he asks, seriously, “How long has she been out guys?”

One ANBU tells Naruto, with a plain tone, “Lady Hokage is in a comatose condition, Naruto Uzumaki. She used all of her energy to protect the villagers, Naruto.”

Naruto says, with a nod, “Granny Tsunade must have worked really hard in order to protect the village and I think that it is time that I helped out with that everyone.” Naruto tells his power ring, “Ring, removed limiters from Ion power.”

Naruto's Green Lantern ring replies, in its emotionless tone, “How many limiters do you wish to release Lantern Naruto Namikaze?” The ANBU were amazed to hear Naruto's last name.

Naruto ignores them and he replies, plainly, “Release all of the limiters ring.”

John tells Naruto, shocked, “Whoa there, Naruto!”

However, it was too late and Naruto's power ring replies, “Understood, Lantern Naruto Uzumaki. Releasing all limiters on Ion energy.” Just then Naruto gives a loud groan as his body is glowing a bright green and the energy of Ion flows through shocking plenty of ninja. When every bit of Ion's energy is coursing through him, through his clothes don't change, Naruto gives a wide sly grin as green energy is surrounding both of Naruto's hands.

Naruto says, with a sly grin, “Everyone, just stay back!” Naruto then puts his hands on Tsunade's comatose form through ANBU weren't sure about what he was doing and prepared to stop Naruto, but Sakura and Hinata, using their rings, create restraints to hold the ANBU back. Naruto then sends the energy into Tsunade's comatose form causing her to give off a bright glow in which Tsunade's energy and body are fully restored in which Tsunade's appearance seemly goes back to her henge form through Naruto's eyes widen.

Tsunade's eyes open and she shoots up into a standing position in which Shizune yells out, excitedly, “Lady Tsunade, you are okay!”

Tsunade asks, stunned, “Shizune?! I thought that you were killed Shizune!”

Ino says, with a smile, “She was Lady Hokage, but she was revived back to life when Naruto beat Pain!”

Tsunade then looks at Naruto and he says, with a smile, “I'm not surprised that Naruto beat Pain.” When Tsunade looks at Sakura and Hinata, her eyes nearly `bug out' at their Star Sapphire uniform and she yells out, surprised, “Sakura?! Hinata?! What's going on here?!”

Naruto says, looking quite sheepish, “It is a long story, Granny Tsunade. However, I can't call you `Granny' anymore since I turned you into a twenty-five year old woman!”

Everyone looks at Naruto quite shocked and Shizune asks, perplexed, “Twenty-five year old woman?!”

Naruto says, with a sly grin, “You see, these new powers come from an entity known as Ion, which is supposed to a being made of pure willpower.”

Shikamaru says, with a plain tone, “We heard about him from that ring of yours, Naruto.”

Naruto says, with a wide sly grin, “And he is so incredible! When he `merges' with someone, they can do practically anything! Ion chose me as his new host and gave me all of his awesome strength and abilities!”

Kiba asks, with a smirk, “What are you supposed to be Naruto? Some kind of deity?”

Kyle says, with a smile, “Close to it, my friend. I was Ion's `host' at one time and he made me do nearly anything including manipulate time and gravity as well as revive people from death!”

Kiba yells out, stunned, “What?! You mean that `Ion' has that kind of power and he gives to someone who has it inside of them! And now, this `Ion' chose Naruto and he has all that power?”

Naruto says, with a foxy smile, “That's right, Kiba! However, I wasn't used to Ion's incredible strength and I caused quite a few problems when I blew a few huge holes at Oa, the Green Lantern home planet!”

John says, with a nod, “I can agree to that since I saw it myself everyone! This kid had no idea what kind of energy he was using!”

Naruto says, with a snort, “I learned how to use Ion's strength, John-san!” Naruto says, with a nervous smile, “However, I didn't learn too quickly and I had to put `limiters' in my ring to contain the energy. At first, Hal-san and the Green Lantern Corps controlled those `limiters', but then they passed it onto me believing that I will use Ion's power wisely. I have control over it, but it looks like not complete control since I accidentally reserved `Granny' Tsunade's aging and turned her back into a young woman of twenty-five years.”

John says, with a plain tone, “You have got a bit to learn Naruto.”

Tsunade looks over herself, felt just as good in her prime, maybe a bit better than in her `prime years', and she says, with a smile, “Actually, everyone, I believe that this is a good `mistake' that Naruto made.” Tsunade says, with a serious tone looking at Sakura and Hinata, “We will need to talk of you and about what you are wearing.”

Carol says, coming forward, “If I may speak, Lady Tsunade, I'm Carol Farris, leader of the Star Sapphires.” Tsunade's eyes when she glances over to the Green Lanterns in which John, Kyle, and Guy, who gives a rare nervous look, shake their heads.

Before anything can happen, an ANBU appears and he says, seriously, “Lady Hokage, I need to speak with you! The Fire Daimyo is here in the village and he is speaking with Danzo and members of the council in which they are thinking to replace you since they believe you are still in a comatose condition!”

Tsunade says, with a serious tone, “I think that it is time to show them that I'm not in a coma and I can return to my duties as Hokage of this village!” Tsunade says, looking at Carol, “We shall discuss this later.” Tsunade then heads off to where the Fire Daimyo is talking with Danzo and members of the Leaf Village council about replacing Tsunade with a new Hokage.

(Joining up with Danzo; A short time afterwards)

We find Danzo and Shikamaru's father in front of a man wearing clothing that a Japanese Daimyo would wear back in the time of the samurai in Japan with Fire insignias all around him. He is the Fire Daimyo and the leader of the Fire Country which the Leaf Village is centered in and even through the Leaf Village is independent of Daimyo and his government, the Fire Daimyo holds plenty of sway in the Leaf Village. Danzo convinced him that the previous Hokage had led to the problems like this situation and thus, Kakashi, a student of Minato Namikaze, Fourth Hokage of the Leaf Village, would not be good and he would be a better choice.

The Fire Daimyo says, with a plain tone, “I do believe that you have a point, Danzo. You are a strong leader and you could lead the village in a different direction to prevent such a disaster. I think that it is best that you become the Sixth Hokage.”

Danzo gives a small smile of victory, but then a familiar female voice calls out, “How can he be the Sixth Hokage when the Fifth is still around?” Danzo silently gasps in shock and Shikaku, Danzo, and the Fire Daimyo look to see Tsunade, Shizune, Naruto, and many of his friends and allies walking in.

Danzo thinks in his mind, “Tsunade is out of her coma?!”

The Fire Daimyo asks Tsunade, “I was lead to believe that you were in a coma, Lady Tsunade. How can you be up?”

Tsunade says, pointing to Naruto, “This young man, Naruto Uzumaki, helped out and restored me to full health and strength as well as a bit more, Daimyo-sama. Since this is the case, Danzo's nomination as Sixth Hokage is null and void.”

Danzo gives a mental growl of anger and the Fire Daimyo says, with a nod, “I must agree with you, Lady Tsunade. You are in full health and I can confirm that you can confirm that you can continue your duties as leader of the Leaf Village through there isn't much left.”

Naruto says, with a sly smile, “I can take care of that Daimyo-sama! The Leaf Village will be rebuilt in no time!”

The Fire Daimyo asks, curiously, “I heard about you, but even I can't believe that you can perform something as incredible as rebuilding the entire village by yourself, Naruto Uzumaki.”

Naruto tells the Fire Daimyo, with a foxy smile, “Just you watch me, Daimyo-sama!” Naruto tells Tsunade, with a smile, “Tsunade-sama, I think that you should get everyone just outside of the village.”

Tsunade asks, with a smile, “No more `Granny Tsunade', Naruto?”

Naruto whispers to Tsunade, with a foxy smile, “Since I turned you into a young woman, I can't call you `Granny' can I?”

Tsunade giggle at this and she tells the ANBU, “Tell everyone in the village to prepare to get to go outside of the village for a few moments and this is an order!”

All of the ANBU around yell out unison, “At once, Lady Hokage!” Immediately, ANBU head off to deliver Tsunade's message to the people of the village while Danzo looks angrily at Naruto.

Danzo thinks in his mind, angrily, “That rotten brat, Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze, has done it to me, again! I knew that boy had to be the Fourth Hokage' son since both of them are so similar and Minato had an `affairs' with that Uzumaki witch, Kushina! With the Nine Tailed Fox, I knew that boy would an incredible asset to my ROOT, but our `Third Hokage' stopped me! And like his father before him, he has become a pain in my plans! And now, I almost had the Hokage position in my grasp! I shall see his new strength in action and I shall find a way to take it from him! Naruto Namikaze, you will get in the way of my plans for the last time!”

(A good time afterwards; Outside of the village)

Just outside of the ruined Leaf Village, we find everyone in the Leaf Village, minus Naruto, looking up at the ruined Leaf Village as Naruto, in his Ion uniform, hovering above it with his eyes closed with the Green Lanterns and three Star Sapphires watching him. Naruto's eyes then shoot open and he cries a mighty shout of strength as he uses Ion's power on the village and for a short time, nothing happens, but then the Leaf Village starts to rebuild itself as if time is moving backwards before Pain used his jutsu on the village much to the amazement of all members of the Leaf Village especially everyone that knew Naruto the best.

Ino yells out, awe-struck, “It is incredible everyone! It is like time is going in reverse!”

Kyle says, with a smile, “I think that Naruto has finally got a hand on Ion's strength guys.”

Guy says, with a sly smirk, “The kid is doing just fine Kyle!” Soon enough, the whole of the Leaf Village was restored as if Pain's invasion and destruction of the Leaf Village never happened and many of the village cheered in celebration.

Tenten yells out, excitedly, “Naruto did it, everyone!”

Neji says, with a smile, “He never ceases to amaze me, Tenten.”

Lee calls out, excitedly, “The strength of Naruto's youth and his new strength has restored our village everyone!” Danzo takes a serious note of what Naruto just did for the Leaf Village and in the air above the completely restored Leaf Village, Naruto takes a deep breath as the effort took a good strain on him as he gently floats back down to the ground. Soon enough, everyone else is rushing back to the Leaf Village and the Fire Daimyo gives an amazed and impressed look.

The Fire Daimyo tells Tsunade, “He is just one incredible ninja, Lady Tsunade!”

Tsunade tells ruler of the Fire Country, with a sly smile, “He is incredible, Daimyo. Naruto Uzumaki is one incredible person, Daimyo-sama.”

(Within the `dark dimension'; on the meanwhile)

Inside of the `dark dimension', we find the figures with the power rings that use darkness energy instead of `emotional light' energy looking at the restoration of the Leaf Village through some kind of crystal ball.

One of the figures says, with a dark male voice, “Naruto Uzumaki has two power rings and Ion's strength coursing through him everyone. I believe that it is time to continue with our plans to cause chaos before the `Spectrum Wars' begins.” Just then an image on the crystal ball switches to Danzo and the figures laugh quite darkly and sinister-like showing trouble is just ahead for Naruto and everyone else…

(Back inside of the Leaf Village; A brief time afterwards)

Within the rebuild and restored Leaf Village, we find Naruto being surrounded by everyone from the Leaf Village expect for Danzo, who had snuck off with his ROOT members for more scheming.

Tenten tells Naruto, with an excited tone, “You really did it, Naruto-san! You restored the Leaf Village back to normal!”

Lee says, with a smile, “I must agree with Tenten that it was an incredible feat indeed, Naruto!”

Kiba tells Naruto, with a sly smirk, “You never cease to amaze me, Naruto!”

Naruto says, with a smile, “It was a bit of an effort gang. Even with Ion's abilities, it takes quite a bit of effort from me everyone.”

Kakashi says, with a plain tone, “However, Naruto, it is indeed one impressive feat.”

Ino says, excitedly, “You totally rebuild the Leaf Village as it totally never happened, Naruto!”

Just then a female voice calls out, “That's because he used the Ion power to reserve the fabric of time and space before your home was destroyed young lady.” Everyone whips to the source of the voice and they gasp to see Queen Apa'po, some of the Zamaron people, and Miri and Fatality of the Star Sapphires in front of them.

John thinks in his mind, seeing Fatality, “This is just great! What is SHE doing here?!”

Guy yells out, stunned, “What is the Queen of the Zamaron doing here?!”

Just then a female voice calls out, “Hal! Kyle!” Everyone looks to see Kilowog, Arisia, Saint Walker, Superman, Supergirl, and Ganthet flying towards them.

When they are in front of them, Hal asks Arisia, “Arisia, what are all of you doing here?”

Kilowog says, with a serious tone, “Search me, Hal! One minute, we were at Oa and next minute, all of us were here!”

Ganthet says, with a plain tone, “I believe that a `higher power' is at work here.”

Naruto yells out, perplexed, “This is getting really weird everyone! What is everyone from the `other world' doing here?”

Just then another female voice calls out, with a sly tone, “Sorry about that my boy! They had to make this kind of `short notice' everyone!” Everyone looks to the source of the new voice to see a youthful female of early 30s with long flowing red hair, lovely green eyes, light red lips, and she is wearing a standard Leaf Village ANBU uniform minus the `animal mask' and she has a Leaf Village headband around her left arm with two sheaths for two Japanese samurai swords attached behind her back.

Shizune yells out, flabbergasted, “Kushina-sama?!”

Naruto asks, perplexed, “Kushina-sama?”

Kakashi tells Naruto, stunned, “Kushina Uzumaki, wife of our late Fourth Hokage, and your mother, Naruto!”

Naruto gasps in shock and Kushina says, with a sly smile, “You have really grown since I last saw you, Kakashi! And you did forget one thing, Kakashi!” Kushina then displays a white and rainbow power ring similar to the rings of the Lantern Corps expect it has a golden eight-pointed star in the top center portion of then ring and Kushina says, with a sly grin, “I'm also the Cosmos Lantern assigned to our universe.”

Guy yells out, flabbergasted, “COSMOS Lanterns?!”

Hal says, with a serious tone, “Then you must be…”

Kushina says, with a smile, “You catch on real quick, Hal Jordan. That's right, everyone. I'm one of the Lanterns with the strength of the entire `emotional light spectrum' within them and Life's power flows through our rings.”

Tsunade tells Kushina, stunned, “But you are supposed to be dead, Kushina-sama!”

Kushina replies, with a smile, “I would have been dead if not for the ones that made me a Cosmos Lantern, Tsunade-sama. And they are the reason our `guests' are here. They want a meeting with the members of the Star Sapphires, Blue Lanterns, and Green Lanterns. We need to talk.”

Kakashi thinks in his mind, amazed, “Something tells me that things are going to become even more `hectic' even through Naruto had just finished with Pain.” Kakashi didn't know how right he is…

Kakashi: This is bad everyone! With that Orange Lantern, Danzo has gone insane! *gasp* Danzo has his own Sharingan?!

Sasuke: I don't care about how strong you have become, dobe! No one shall get in the way of my revenge Naruto! I shall not forgive them for destroying my clan and using my own brother to do their dirty work!

Naruto (determined): It was wrong for Danzo and the elder to do what they did to your clan! But it doesn't give you the right to destroy the village and hurt the villagers for the mistakes that they made, Sasuke! You leave me with no other choice, but to use my bloodlines, Hermit Mode, and Ion to stop you, Sasuke!

Sasuke: Amaterasu!

Naruto: Wind Style: Rasen-Shuriken!

Dark Mysterious Figure: It looks like the Uchiha has done his job excellently, but he won't stand up to Namikaze and the strength of Ion. It looks like that it is time for Parallax.

Hal and Kyle: Parallax!

Parallax: Did you really believe that I could be contained forever?! I have returned and I shall have my revenge on you, two, along with all Guardians no matter how they are! All universe shall live under my color alone!

Kiba: How do we beat something like that with Naruto dealing with Sasuke?!

Neji (confused): Where did these Green Lantern power rings come from?

Green Lantern Rings: “Kakashi Hatake, Neji Hyuga,Tenten,and Ino Yamanaka, you have been shownto overcome great fear.”

Sasuke: You have become stronger, dobe, but you will not win because you don't understand this hate of mine.

Naruto: This hate will only lead to more hate and more suffering in which the cycle of death the ninja world is under will continue. I made a promise that I will find a way to stop it and many people are counting on me, Sasuke! I can't let you continue this cycle of death and I'm going to end this battle right now, teme!”

Sasuke: Chordi!

Naruto: Rasengan!

Sinestro: It looks like I have arrived just in time, Hal, my friend.

I'm done with this chapter and I hope that you see that Naruto is very powerful with Ion's energy giving him a galaxy-sized boost, but he is not totally invincible or immortal everyone. I'm also trying out a `new trend' with the ending of my story with this new kind of preview for all future chapters in my story. I hope that this new kind of preview will work out for my story and maybe even other stories in the near future!
