As you well know, Sailor Moon has been added to the number of crossovers and you know who will be the Sixth Signer since I most likely gave it away in the last chapter’s ending commentary. There are going to be tons of surprises and more twists and turns that you can shake a dragon’s tail at (A/N: Forgive the pun, everyone). To be honest, I’m still not sure about the pairings of this story so far, but Naruto is going to have Sakura, Hinata, and Ayane Fudo (my female OC in this story) focusing on him. This is going to take sometime, so, I think that it is best that you don’t expect too much romance in this story for awhile. Finally, before I begin, I would like to give credit to Kanius and this author’s story of ‘YuYuGiDigiMoon: Dawn of Chaos’ for the idea of Sailor Charon and her being Sailor Pluto’s sister.

Chapter 17: A New Hokage, a New Hope Reborn

Right now, we find our Signers group, who has finally met with Tsunade and her assistant, Shizune, find themselves with a local heroine from the home country of the Fudo Twins and Davis Motomiya in the form of Sailor Moon, who is asking for the help of the Signers.

Haku asks, curiously, “Excuse me, but how do you know the Signers?”

Davis says, with a plain tone, “I’m sorry to sound suspicious, but I don’t think that kind of knowledge is known for even well-known super-heroes back at home.”

Sailor Moon says, with a lowered head, “It’s a long story and I will tell you soon enough, but I have a friend who knows thing about this.”

Ninja Ayane says, with a plain tone, “Well, it is safe to say that someone is after you. You wouldn’t be wearing a cloak that can hide you so well even from our senses if you weren’t in grave danger.”

Haku tells Ninja Ayane, “Now that I could think about, I couldn’t sense her at all.”

Jiraiya says, looking at Sailor Moon, “Same here, Haku. Even a regular person sneaking up on us, like those guys, would set off our senses, but we didn’t see her until she helped us.”

Sailor Moon says, with a plain tone, “This is a special cloak that I had gotten. It allows me to hide my aura from people with ‘sensory’ abilities like you or people with spiritual senses.”

Ninja Ryu says, with a plain tone, “And you needed it to come here. You didn’t want someone from here finding you because someone from the Elemental Countries is looking for you.”

Sailor Moon says, with a nod, “They are. My friends and I were attacked by two mysterious enemies and one of them was ninjas from around here. All of my friends were captured.”

The members of Signers from outside of the Elemental Countries gasp in shock and Ayane asks, stunned, “Captured? And why they were after you?”

Sailor Moon then takes off the rest of her cloak, revealing her Eternal Sailor Scout form, and when Jiraiya gets a perverted look in his eye, Naruto says, glaring at him, “Don’t think about Pervy Sage or I think that our meeting with your ‘old friend’ might go bad.”

Jiraiya yelps and he thinks, nervously, “Oh, yeah! I almost forgot that Tsunade is here! I don’t want to have the repeat of the time that she shot me one hundred meters into the sky!”

Sailor Moon points to her broach and she says, “It is a long story, but what is inside of my broach is what they are after. It is the source of my powers and contains an item of incredible power.”

Ryu asks, curiously, “An item of incredible power?”

Ninja Ryu asks Sailor Moon, “Do you know the ninjas that attacked you?”

Sailor Moon says, “They were masked so we couldn’t see their faces, but I remember that they wore headband like the blond haired boy is wearing, however, they had a sound note on it.” There are plenty of gasps, this time from the whole Signers group, and Sailor Moon says, shivering in fear, “And I remember their leader… he didn’t look human at all. He had pale white skin and yellow eyes that look like a snake…”

Jiraiya says, with a sneer, “Orochimaru…”

Sailor Moon asks, surprised, “You know him?”

Ninja Ayane says, with a plain tone, “He once belonged to the same ninja village that some of our group come from which is a place known as the Hidden Leaf Village. He was a student of one of the village’s best ninja, but he had a thirst for power and knowledge, in the form of ninja jutsu, and he was run out of the village after there were finding him of performing tons of immoral and illegal experiments on innocent people. He is a rogue ninja running a ninja village that he created known as the Hidden Sound Village. He tried to destroy his former home and he is currently one of our greatest foes since he desires the power of the Crimson Dragon among many other things.”

Sailor Moon thinks in her mind, fearfully, “Experiments? Oh no! I hope… I hope that doesn’t mean…”

Naruto yells out, annoyed, “Darn it! How many lives is that snake going to ruin before enough is enough?”

Jiraiya tells Naruto, “For Orochimaru, there is never enough.” Jiraiya says, looking at Tsunade, “However, before we can help her, we still have our business Tsunade.”

Naruto replies, with a snort, “Why keep trying with this selfish old bag, Pervy Sage? She doesn’t want the job and she doesn’t want to help either! We’ve got to find another way to help Kakashi-sensei and Sasuke! We don’t have time to fiddle around with this washed up witch, Pervy Sage!”

Tsunade yells out, annoyed, “What did you say you brat?”

Naruto tells Tsunade, strongly, “You heard me, you old bat! The Pervy Sage might be annoying, but at least, he did something for the village! When the village needed him the most, he was there to help unlike you! From what the Pervy Sage told me, my dad was like a son to him and he may have made the stupid mistake of leaving me behind, but at least, he is trying to make up for it! And two, he didn’t abandon the village at all! Even when out, he was trying to get information on enemies that would threaten the village like Orochimaru asshole! If my parents were still around, they might have been pissed off at Pervy Sage, but they would have gotten over it. However, with you, I don’t think that would want to look at you! Believe it!” That strikes Tsunade right in the heart and she lowers her head.

Jiraiya tells Naruto, “Hey, gaki, you may have a point, but I think that’s really pushing it.”

Tsunade tells Naruto, “Okay, gaki, you want me back so much? Let’s make a bet! I see that you have made more powerful versions of your dad’s Rasengan, let’s see if you can do better. The pervert here said that you were working on a Wind version of the Rasengan. If you can complete that version of that jutsu or create another powerful version of that jutsu in a week, I will admit that you are right and come back with you, no strings attached. In fact, I will give you my necklace to sweeten the deal.”

Shizune yells out, stunned, “My lady, no! Not the necklace!”

Naruto says, with a plain tone, “I’m not really into gems anyway.”

Jiraiya tells Naruto, “Naruto, you baka! That necklace is only one of two in the world and that one was held by the First Hokage himself. It is worth a lot of gold mines and the mountains that they are on.”

Davis yells out, stunned, “You’re kidding me!”

Naruto’s jaw drop and he yells out, slyly, “Okay, you have a deal!”

Tsunade then holds out Naruto’s wallet and she says, with a grin, “But if I win, you admit that I was right and I get to keep the money in little Froggy!”

Naruto asks, stunned, “Gama?!”

Naruto looks through his Chunin vest and Ayane tells him, “Naruto, she already showed you that she took your wallet already.”

Naruto says, sweatdropping, “Oh, yeah. You’re right, Ayane.” Naruto tells Tsunade, “Fine, but I’m not going to lose! Believe it!”

Tsunade says, turning to leave, “Good luck, kid. You’re going to need it.”

Shizune thinks in her mind, “This is really bad. Not matter how bad it got, she never bet the necklace.”

Just then an image of Kabuto comes to mind and the image says, “We don’t expect your answer right away. We’ll give you a week for your answer, Lady Tsunade.”

Leon says, with a sigh, “At least, she’ll be sticking around for awhile,”

Ninja Ayane says, “Ryu-sensei, Kasumi, and I will make sure of that.” Kasumi nods her head in agreement and all three of them head off in the typical ninja manner to make sure that Tsunade leaves the area.

Davis asks, seriously, “What’s that woman’s problem anyway?”

Rachel says, with a plain tone, “She lost people that she loved very much. I know that look anywhere. I felt much the same way when my sister was taken by the Archfiends and I lost her when she died to save me and regaining her humanity.”

Kalin tells Jiraiya, “You did mention that she lost people that she cared about, didn’t you?”

Jiraiya says, with a nod, “That’s right which included Naruto’s mom.”

Naruto says, with a sigh, “Anyway, I’ve got to start training right now. If I’m going to win that bet, I need to start getting to work and with that trick with the Shadow Clones that my senseis showed me, I’ll get it done in no time!”

Ryu tells Naruto, with a plain tone, “Hold up, Naruto. Sailor Moon asks for the help of the Signers and all the Signers need to be here to find out what’s going on.”

Ayane tells Naruto, “Besides, Orochimaru took her friends. Isn’t there is a saying that ‘the enemy of my enemy is my friend’?”

Jiraiya says, with a nod, “That’s a good point. Let’s get hotel rooms and we talk about your situation.”

As they prepare to head off to get hotel rooms, Naruto tells Jiraiya, with a glare, “I’m watching you, Pervy Sage. And so is Ayane and you know what she can do.”

Jiraiya thinks in his mind, nervously, “Don’t I know it?”

(Later that night; Elsewhere in Tanzaku Quarters)

Right now, we find ourselves within a hotel room where we find Jiraiya, Haku, and our five Signers with Veemon surrounding Sailor Moon as she starts to explain about what happened through she had to go back to the beginning which was, in her case, the Silver Millennium millennia ago.

When she was at the point at the end of her adventures before her friends were kidnapped, Ayane says, amazed, “Oh, wow. So, you are a princess? That’s so incredible!”
Sailor Moon replies, nervously, “I’m not a princess right now. In this time, I’m an ordinary Earth girl through with super-powers.”

Hinata asks, curiously, “But are you sure that it is your Silver Crystal is what Orochimaru is after, Moon-san?”

Jiraiya tells Hinata, “I think so. If you used your Byakugan, you might have been blinded by the immense power coming from it.”

Naruto says, with a nod, “The fox seems to be very restless the instant that she took off that cloak that hid her aura.”

Haku says, looking at Sailor Moon’s broach, “I sense a great power coming from it. It feels similar to the Crimson Dragon.”

Sailor Moon says, “My Silver Crystal is one of the most powerful artifacts in the universe rivaling by all seven Millennium Items together as well as the Three Egyptian God Monsters and the Crimson Dragon by themselves.”

Naruto yells out, stunned, “Whoa!”

Jiraiya says, with a plain tone, “And that explains why Orochimaru is after you, missy. If what you said is true, Orochimaru is going to be on like a python entrapping his prey in its coils.”

Ayane says, drolly, “Nice way to put it.”

Ryu asks Sailor Moon, “Sailor Moon tell us what happened. Who told you about us? And how can we help?”

Sailor Moon replies, shaking her head, “I’m not sure. The person that told me this was quite… cryptic, I think that Sailor Mercury would say. This all start around one month ago. Even through we defeated our enemies, there were a few youma or monsters from our defeated enemies that managed to survive and they were quite clever, but one of them slipped up and we were after it…”

Flashback; Around one month ago

Today, we find the Sailor Scouts fighting against a female youma, one of the few that survived the destruction of the Negaverse around a year ago, in which Sailor Neptune and Sailor Uranus have beaten it down with their attacks in which Sailor Moon prepares for the finishing blow.

“Silver Moon Crystal Power Kiss!”

Sailor Moon unleashes a blast of golden energy and white feathers that destroys the evil energy sucking creature into nothingness and she breathes a sigh of relief.

Sailor Moon says, with a moan, “I thought that we had taken care of them a long time ago!”

Sailor Mars tells Sailor Moon, “Stop whining, Meatball Head! It looks like not all of the youma were in the Negaverse when you finished off Beryl!”

Sailor Jupiter asks, curiously, “But why do they start up now?”

Sailor Venus says, confused, “You think that they would attack when we were fighting those other bad guys.”

Sailor Uranus asks, with a plain tone, “If something out of the ordinary would have happened, do you think that you would not investigate it?”

Sailor Jupiter says, with a smile, “That’s a good point, Uranus.”

Just then Sailor Mars yells out, seriously, “Be quiet everyone! There is a real big evil aura nearly on top of us! I never felt anything like it! It…”

Sailor Pluto yells out, seriously, “Watch out, everyone!” The Sailor Scouts then dodge attacks of kunai and shuriken in which they look to see Orochimaru and Kabuto with a group of Sound ninja around them.

Orochimaru says, with a sinister smile, “So these are the local heroines that we have read about, huh? Interesting.”

Kabuto says, with a grin, “They are supposed to be ‘monster hunters’, Orochimaru-sama, but they are superior warriors to the rest of the people outside of our home, however, they are no threat.”

Sailor Uranus yells out, annoyed, “What do you mean ‘no threat’?”

Orochimaru replies, with a sinister smile, “Let me show you, my dear. And while you are ‘no threat’ to us, you shall prove very useful to me.” Orochimaru then performs a Summoning Jutsu and brings out a large snake which causes the group to gasp.

Sailor Venus asks, fearfully, “What is that?”

Sailor Pluto says, seriously, “Everyone, run!”

Sailor Jupiter asks, stunned, “Say what?!”

Sailor Pluto yells out, “I know where these people come from and we don’t stand a chance against them! We need to escape!”

Orochimaru yells out, with a wicked smile, “Too late!” Soon enough, the Sound Ninja and the large snake that Orochimaru brought out rush in to attack them in which the Sailor Scouts look on in shock, horror, surprise, a combination of the three, or all three together.

End Flashback; Return to the Present

Back in the present, the group is shocked as Sailor Moon starts to cry as she describes what happens next.

Sailor Moon says, weakly, “We… We didn’t know what we were… getting into… we managed to hold back his henchmen… at least Jupiter… Mars… Uranus… and Pluto did… for awhile… but we were quickly overwhelmed… and then Tuxedo Mask… our friend… and… ally…” Just then Sailor Moon’s tears start to fall even greater and plenty of others get the reason why.

Kalin asks Sailor Moon, “This ‘Tuxedo Mask’ is your beloved prince isn’t he?”

Sailor Moon says, nodding her head, “He… he was… and Orochimaru…”

Jiraiya replies, with a sigh, “He killed him didn’t he?” There are more gasps and Sailor Moon cries and bawls showing the signs of her pain which confirms that in the most painful manner.

Naruto yells out, angrily, “What is with that asshole?!”

Hinata says, lowly, “This is so horrible.”

Jiraiya says, with a plain tone, “Orochimaru doesn’t care who he hurts as long as he get what he wants and that goes with the same with all of you, Signers.”

Ryu says, with a nod, “We understand, Jiraiya-sama.”

When Sailor Moon calms down enough, Ayane tells her, “We are so sorry for your loss, Sailor Moon.”

Ryu asks her, “If you can, can you tell us what happened next?”

Sailor Moon says, struggling to speak, “After he… murdered Tuxedo Mask… I used as much power as I had left on him… but I missed… and these other ninja mysteriously appeared… and Sailor Mars… with the last of her strength… begged me to run… I couldn’t do it… I couldn’t abandon them… but when they were about to come for me… I became so afraid… and ran… I barely got out of there alive… but soon enough, they found out… my secret identity… and they… attacked me at home… and killed my… my family…” There are more gasps and Sailor Moon says, barely able to speak, “Mama… papa… my little brother… killed before my eyes… they nearly got me… but a new Sailor Scout… saved me… got me out of there…”

Ayane asks, curiously, “A new Sailor Scout?”

Sailor Moon says, with a weak nod, “Called herself Sailor Charon, which has the power within Pluto’s moon, Charon.”

Flashback; Shortly after the capture of the Sailor Scouts

Right now, we find a badly injured Sailor Moon waking up with a gasp in which she finds a Sailor Scout that looks much like Sailor Pluto, but her hair is pitch black, her eyes are a lovely and mysterious violet, and her fuku has silver where the fuku is white even the gloves, her bows are dark red-violet, and the heart jewel in the center of the bow on her chest is dark pink in color in which she is also sporting two pairs of angel-like wing like Eternal Sailor Moon’s wings. In her hand is a Keyblade similar to the Oblivion Keyblade, but there is silver old fashion time piece in the hilt and there is a hourglass at the end of the keychain.

Sailor Moon asks, stunned, “Who are you?”

Sailor Charon tells Sailor Moon, “Sailor Charon, your majesty.”

Sailor Moon then gasps and she says, in a panic, “Mama… dad… Sammy…”

Sailor Charon tells Sailor Moon, with a solemn tone, “I’m sorry, princess. They are…”

Sailor Moon says, weakly and tears flowing down her eyes, “No, it can’t be… it can’t be true…”

Sailor Charon goes over to Sailor Moon, hugs her, and she says, solemnly, “I am truly sorry for your loss, princess.” Soon enough, Sailor Moon remembers images of her home in Juuban in flames and seeing the dead bodies of her Earth family in front of her eyes in which Sailor Moon starts to bawl and cry on Sailor Charon’s shoulders in which the mysterious new Sailor Scout pats her on the back gently.

Sailor Moon says, as tears flowed her eyes, “How can this… be happening… why…?”

Sailor Charon releases Sailor Moon from her arms and she says, stepping away from her, “It is a long story and it will take a lot for you to understand, but the events that led to this happening, which should have never happened in the first pace, starts around thirteen years ago.”

Sailor Moon asks, perplexed, “Never should have happened? And what happened thirteen years ago? I was barely two back then.” Sailor Charon then explains about the Signers, the Crimson Dragon, and the People of the Stars as well as the adventures of Ryu’s and Ayane’s parents and their friends, the original Signers and allies/friends, back all those years ago as well as their recent murder. When she was done, Sailor Moon asks, shocked, “Wait, Charon-san! Do you mean that horrible future that the Signers saw took place during Crystal Tokyo?”

Sailor Charon says, with a nod, “After the Black Moon invasion as a matter of fact, Sailor Moon. In that time, a powerful entity known as Sailor Chaos destroys Crystal Tokyo and forces you to become the powerful entity known as Sailor Cosmos, which has more significance in this situation, but I can’t say right, but Sailor Chaos had a huge army including the Machine Emperors which ravaged much of the Earth including Neo Domino City of that time. Sailor Chaos turned the Ener-D reactor, which is the main source of power for Earth in Crystal Tokyo’s time, against Earth itself and unleashes a more devastating Zero Reverse than the one that separated Satellite from Neo Domino City which destroyed the Earth. However, your war with Chaos spread across the universe and you, as Sailor Cosmos, had to leave Earth vowing to return to restore her from the damage caused by Chaos and the Machine Emperors. However, your war with Chaos took years and years in which Aproia, ZONE, Paradox, and Antimony which you knew, but couldn’t stop due to your future self’s battle with Sailor Chaos. However, the work of the Signers undid that future, but Pluto tried to make sure that Crystal Tokyo came about by making sure that the Signers’ future and Crystal Tokyo wouldn’t clash. However, in doing so, she made the first ‘tear’ that would undo the future that you know. But the damage was very small and slight and it seemed like time would run its course in which everything seemed to be okay with Crystal Tokyo coming out, but without the horrible future of Chaos and the Machine Emperors… That is until Pluto made another mistake unintentionally. After your daughter, Rini, left for the last time in the aftermath of the Dead Moon Circus battles, Pluto was making sure that Rini’s visits to the past didn’t disrupt space and time, but for whatever reason, I really don’t know, Pluto’s ‘check up’ caused the dimension disruption which ended Crystal Tokyo and leading to these series of events. The original Signers were never meant to die and your beloved’s death was never to have happened.”

Sailor Moon asks, stunned, “You mean Pluto changed the future?”

Sailor Charon tells Sailor Moon, “Not on purpose, my princess. Pluto knows that time-travel has consequences in which you need to remember that in Newton’s Third Theory: ‘Every action has an equal, but opposite reaction’. Rini’s time-travels didn’t do anything, but Pluto ‘checks’ to make sure of this caused that ‘rip’ that she made at the end of the Signers battle with ZONE caused the whole path of our timeline to be thrown into chaos. I can’t blame these actions on the death of your beloved and the death of the original Signers, but I can say that Crystal Tokyo is dead, my princess. That future is gone… maybe for good.”

Sailor Moon gasps and she yells out, “Is there anything that we can do?”

Sailor Charon tells Sailor Moon, shaking her head, “I don’t think so, my princess. The timeline is now in a complete state of flux and who knows where the future will go. But it is most likely that Crystal Tokyo is gone for good and there is worse news. Soon, a great war will start and ancient forces, even more ancient than the Moon Kingdom, the People of the Stars, and even the Shadow Games where Duel Monsters are originally based from, will clash here on Earth. Right now, the result looks beak for the balance of life and Earth seems doomed, but there is hope. There are people that can determine the path that Earth will travel on and while Crystal Tokyo is dead, there is a chance to create an even better future.”

Sailor Moon asks, curiously, “A better future?”

Sailor Charon says, with a plain tone, “That’s right. The key to that future and most likely, the reunion of you and your guardians, my princess, are the Signers. The original Signers are dead, but the Crimson Dragon’s power has been passed down to a new generation of Signers. As I have told you, the Crimson Dragon holds similar energies to your Silver Crystal and rivals it in strength. The original Signers found the power in themselves to change the future which I think is why Pluto has been wary of them in which I believe that this new generation has the same power: The ability to mold their own ‘destinies’ and those of others as they see fit with their own choices, Sailor Moon.”

Sailor Moon asks, wiping the tears from her eyes, “So, the Signers are my only hope?”

Sailor Charon tells Sailor Moon, “There are other ways, Sailor Moon. I feel there are always possibilities, but this seems to be the best chance for the best possible outcome, my princess. However, I warn you fairly, Sailor Moon. If you seek out and find the Signers, your future, their future, and the future of many others will be changed forever. And I do not kid about this, my princess.”

Sailor Moon sees images of her fellow Sailor Scouts, her friends and her only family left, in which she says, with a serious expression, “I don’t care. They are my only hope. My friends, my scouts, are my only family left in this world and I won’t lose them.”

Sailor Charon says, with a nod, “I understand, my princess. But you are still injured, inside and out, you will need to rest. You have a long journey ahead of you.” Sailor Moon nods as she tries to rest, but the scars on her heart don’t allow her to sleep.

End Flashback; Return to the Present

Back in the present, after Sailor Moon explains about Crystal Tokyo and the like in the context of what’s happening, she says, “Afterwards, Sailor Charon gathered supplies and information and I took off with her special cloak for here. With my friends captured, Charon left me alone because the cloak that she had was one of a kind and it can only cloak one person at a time.”

Ryu says, with a plain tone, “Charon hoped to throw Orochimaru off track if he found a way to track your aura.”

Sailor Moon says, with a weak nod, “I knew that I had to find you. The Crimson Dragon is an entity filled with much the same energy as my Silver Crystal and Charon told me that you were my only chance to get my friends, my only family left, back.”

Davis asks, scratching his head, “But I don’t get what she meant by all of us and you coming together will change our ‘destinies’ and such?”

Sailor Moon replies, “Charon didn’t say, but all I know is that you are my only hope.”

Jiraiya says, with a sigh, “Well, Miss Moon, it is not like that we don’t want to help especially a pretty young thing like you, but Orochimaru has multiple bases and unless we figure out where his bases are and which base he is holding them, we won’t be able to do anything to help them.”

Naruto yells out, seriously, “We’ve got to do something Pervy Sage!”

Jiraiya tells Naruto, with a serious tone, “What do you want us to do, gaki? Go through every base? Orochimaru will know that we are looking for them and move to another base or he might do just worse. Remember, the snake doesn’t value even the people that work for him. Do you want THAT to happen to her friends?”

Naruto says, with a sigh, “No, I don’t, Pervy Sage.”

Ayane tells Sailor Moon, “Ryu and I know how you feel, Sailor Moon. We lost our parents not too long ago ourselves.”

Sailor Moon says, with a nod, “Sailor Charon told me about that Ayane-san.”

Haku asks Jiraiya, “Jiraiya-sama, do you think that we could capture Orochimaru?”

Jiraiya says, going into a thinking pose, “I don’t think that snake knows that we are around and if it is only Kabuto, it might work. However, Orochimaru isn’t one of us, Sannin, for nothing and while you, Haku, are talent and the gaki is getting stronger and better with each passing day, Orochimaru is no pushover. And based on Kakashi’s report on him, Kabuto is around Jonin level, so, he won’t a piece of cake.”

Naruto asks, surprised, “Kabuto is Jonin level?”

Jiraiya says, with a nod, “He is. And he was adopted by the head of the medical corps giving him skills in medical ninjutsu which makes him quite deadly because medical ninjutsu can not only be used to heal the sick and wounded. A proficient user of medical ninjutsu can attack an enemy’s body with all types of stuff that can paralyze him or her and even killing them with making any damage to visible on the body.”

Haku says, with a nod, “I’m starting to study medical ninjutsu in the Leaf Village myself since I have very good chakra control and I’m already quite good in the basics of the healing arts.”

Jiraiya tells Haku, “Your ability to put Zabuza into a temporary death condition shows that you know the human body quite well, Haku. I see a bright future for you and if we get Tsunade on our side, she might be able to teach you quite a few things.”

Haku says, with a nod, “I hope so, Jiraiya-sama.”

Kalin says, with a plain tone, “However, we shouldn’t count out Hayabusa-sama and the two kunoichi from the Mugen Tenshin clan.”

Rachel says, with a nod, “And you know better to underestimate them and yours truly here.”

Jiraiya says, with a grin, “How can I forget? Having such super-human strength without using chakra might prove a helpful edge and you have proven yourself to be a good warrior.” Jiraiya says, with a plain tone, “This might work especially if Orochimaru doesn’t know that we are here. The element of surprise might be our best bet and if we get Tsunade on our side, the deal might be set, but I’m saying might because Orochimaru is very crafty and not one to be underestimated. We need to be ready for anything and everything.”

Leon asks Sailor Moon, “There is also the matter of these ‘other people’ that attacked you too? Do you have any idea on who they are?”

Sailor Moon says, shaking her head, “I don’t and neither does Sailor Charon. She believes to be in contact with some kind of powerful forces in which she can’t see who they are. Like Sailor Pluto, she is connected to the timeline too, but not as much as Pluto-chan is.”

Kalin says, with a sigh, “Even through it is hard to say, we are going to need to focus on Orochimaru for the moment.”

Ayane asks, seriously, “What about these rogue DOAETC guys that tried to get us?”

Haku says, with a plain tone, “We’ll be on guard, but I don’t think that they will come after us since we know that they are here. They might keep an eye on us through.”

Jiraiya says, with a nod, “We had better keep an eye out of us being observed, everyone.”

Naruto tells Sailor Moon, “Don’t worry, Moon-san. We’ll get your friends back from that snake freak!”

Sailor Moon replies, with a smile, “You would really help me?”

Ryu tells Sailor Moon, with a plain tone, “No one deserves what you went through, Moon-san. And you came to us for help, how can we not try to help?”

Davis says, with a grin, “It’s what heroes like us do. Help those in need. I really don’t get fully what’s going on, but I understand all I need to know: You need help and think we can help and we’re here to do our best.”

Sailor Moon says, with a smile, “Thank you, everyone. And please call me by real name: I’m Serena, Serena Tsukino.”

Ryu asks, with a smile, “Calm of the Moon, huh?”

Ayane tells Sailor Moon, “That’s a lovely name, Sailor… I mean Serena-san!”

Jiraiya thinks in his mind, with a perverted grin, “I’ll say! She is just fifteen and lovely in a cute sort of a way. In a few years, she might turn into a real hottie.”

Naruto tells Jiraiya, with an annoyed tone, “I see that pervy grin, Pervy Sage.”

Jiraiya replies, “I don’t know what you are talking about, gaki.”

Ayane says, with a threatening look, “Don’t give us that, pervert. If you even look at us girls wrong, I’ll make sure that my Black Rose Dragon blasts your ass, pervert.”

Jiraiya replies, nervously, “Right, Ayane! Gotcha!”

Hinata tells Sailor Moon, “If we get Tsunade-sama to become the Fifth Hokage or even before she takes the position of Hokage, we might be able to put you under the protection of Naruto-kun’s clan.”

Naruto says, with a nod, “That’s a good idea, Hinata-chan. Even our village, there are plenty of people that would like to use that crystal of yours for their own selfish purposes and while these people are out of business for the moment, they are still a pain in the butt.”

Jiraiya thinks in his mind, “And that worries me, gaki. There are plenty in the village that want to use the Crimson Dragon for their own selfish gain and if they hear about this girl’s crystal, they will be just drooling to control her too. And plus, there is Danzo… I’m not sure, but I feel that he isn’t much of a threat anymore. However, I can’t let my feelings get the better of me. Until I hear otherwise, Danzo is still a threat and he is looking for payback against Naruto and the Signers. But I can’t shake off this feeling and even if this feeling is true, I get the feeling that it wasn’t for the greater good that Danzo is taken out.” As they prepare to rest for the night through Naruto plans to sneak out and train to create another stronger version of his dad’s Rasengan, Jiraiya doesn’t know how right his feelings about Danzo really are.

(The next morning; Elsewhere)

Right now, we find Ryu, Ayane, Davis, Veemon, Leon, Kalin, Haku, Momiji, and Kasumi are assembled together with Sailor Moon, in her ‘civilian form’ of Serena Tsukino, who is wearing a regular Japanese female sailor outfit with a duel disk attached to her left wrist.

Ayane tells Serena, “Listen, Serena, if you are going to be with us, you are going to have to know that some of our battles will involve fighting and plenty of others will involve dueling.”

Ryu says, displaying his duel disk, “So, we are going to need to test your dueling skills as well as your deck, Serena.”

Serena says, with a nod, “Okay, Ryu-san, but I don’t think that I stand a chance against the son of two world champion duelists.”

Ryu says, with a grin, “Don’t worry, Serena-san, I’m sure that you will do fine.” Serena’s and Ryu’s duel disks activate, their life-points counters display 4000 life-points as their decks are shuffled, and both of them draw five cards from their decks.

“Duel!” Ryu and Serena say as their duel begins.

Ryu says, with a kind smile, “Ladies first, Serena-san.”

Serena says, with a smile, “Thank you, Ryu-san.” Serena draws one card from her deck and she says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “I play my Gem-Knight Fusion spell card! Now, by sending the necessary Fusion Material monster from my hand or field to the graveyard, I can play one Gem-Knight Fusion Monster.”

Ryu asks, perplexed, “Gem-Knight?”

Serena discards Gem-Knight Sapphire (0/2100) and Gem-Knight Alexandrite (1800/1200) monster cards to the graveyard, the two monsters appear on the field, and as they go into a fusion vortex created by a ring of gems, Serena says, taking a Fusion Monster card from her Extra Deck, “I fuse my Gem-Knight Sapphire and Gem-Knight Alexandrite together to bring out Gem-Knight Aquamarine in defense mode!” Out of the fusion vortex in which the gems surround it fly away as they are glowing and Gem-Knight Aquamarine (1400/2600), a massive blue armored knight monster with an aquamarine jewel in its chest, appears on the field in defense mode. Serena says, putting two cards into the spell/trap slots, “I end my turn with two cards face-down.”

Ryu says, drawing a card, “It’s my move!” Ryu says, putting one card into the spell/trap slot, “I activate my Hammer Shot spell card! This card destroys the strongest monster in attack points on the field and since there is only one, Serena-san…” Just then Aquamarine is crushed flat by a huge hammer.

Serena says, with a sigh, “And since you have no cards on the field, Aquamarine’s ability to send a card back to your hand is useless.”

Ryu says, discarding Quillbolt Hedgehog (800/800), “I discard my Quillbolt Hedgehog to play my Quickdraw Synchron in attack mode!” Just then Quickdraw Synchron (700/1400) appears on the field in attack mode.

Serena says, pushing a button on her duel disk, “I activate my Triggered Summon trap card!” Serena’s face-down is revealed to be the Triggered Summon trap card and Serena says, putting one card on her duel disk, “This card is activated when you special summoned a monster to your field and now, we can special summon a monster that’s level four or below from our hands to the field! And I choose Crystal Beast Sapphire Pegasus!” Immediately, Crystal Beast Sapphire Pegasus (1800/1200) appears on the field in attack mode.

Davis yells out, stunned, “Whoa! How come you have that card?!”

Haku asks, curiously, “What’s so important about that monster?”

Leon says, with a plain tone, “That’s because that’s a one of a kind card. The Crystal Beasts are one of a kind type of cards that were owned by a friend of my dad by the name of Jesse Anderson since the spirits of those cards chose him to weld those cards.”

Ayane asks Serena, “How did you get the Crystal Beasts Serena-san?”

Serena says, with a smile, “It happened while I was very young. Jesse Anderson came to see me and those cards glowed when they were close to me for some reason. He gave me those cards and I’ve been using them ever since that day, Ayane-san.”

Sapphire Pegasus tells Serena, “That’s right, my dear. We knew that you were much like Jesse and we felt a powerful bond with you. We knew that you were the one to handle our power after Jesse retired from dueling.”

As a card comes out of Serena’s duel disk, Serena says, putting it into the spell/trap slots, “Now, Sapphire Pegasus’ ability allows me to put one Crystal Beast into the spell and trap zones and I choose Emerald Turtle!” Just then a large unprocessed emerald appears in Serena’s spell/trap zones and Serena says, with a smile, “Now, you need to choose a monster.”

Ryu says, putting one card on his duel disk, “I choose my Fortress Warrior!” Just then Fortress Warrior (600/1200) appears on the field in attack mode.

Serena says, pushing a button on her duel disk, “I activate my Celebration of Creation trap card!” Serena’s other face-down card is revealed to be Celebration of Creation trap card and Serena says, with a plain tone, “Since a monster was special summoned due to the effect of a trap card, your turn automatically comes to an end!”

There are gasps of shock and Kalin says, with a plain tone, “That’s a pretty good move that she made.”

Serena says, drawing a card, “It’s my turn.” Serena says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “I activate my Gem Mine spell card! Now, I can remove a Gem Knight monster from my graveyard and then draw one card for it! So, I remove all three Gem-Knights in my grave and draw three new cards!” Serena removes the said monster cards, puts them in her sub-space pocket, and draws three more cards from her deck in which she says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “Next, I activate my Dimensional Draw spell card! I name one card type and all of that type removed from play is now returning to my deck and I draw one card for each of them, but if I don’t draw the same kind of card that I removed from my deck, those cards are immediately removed from play!” Serena then returns the said cards to her deck and Extra deck, her deck is shuffled, and she draws three more cards in which she displays Crystal Beast Topaz Tiger (1600/1000) monster card in which Serena says, “Since I have a monster in the three cards that I drew, I get to keep them!”

Kalin says, with a plain tone, “With that move, she just revitalized her hand.”

Leon says, with a nod, “And that’s not good for Ryu.”

The Field Spell slot of Serena’s Duel Disk opens up, she puts a card into it, and she yells out, “And now, I activate a Field Spell: Ancient City-Rainbow Ruins!” Soon after, the field transforms into what looks like ancient Roman colosseum with a rainbow in the sky and Serena says, putting one card on her duel disk, “And now, I play my Topaz Tiger in attack mode!” Immediately, Crystal Beast Topaz Tiger (1600/1000) appears on the field in attack mode.

Topaz Tiger asks, “It is nice to come out and sharpen my claws.”

Serena tells Topaz, mentally, “Easy, Topaz-kun.” Serena yells out, “When Topaz attacks a monster, he gains four hundred attack points!” Topaz Tiger’s stats go up 1600/1000 to 2000/1000 and Serena calls out, “Topaz, take out his Quickdraw!” Topaz charges Quickdraw Synchron and slashes him causing him to shatter into pieces causing Ryu to yelp as he loses 1300 life-points. Serena yells out, “Sapphire Pegasus, destroy Fortress Warrior!” Sapphire Pegasus gives a loud horse-like cry and unleashes a beam of energy at Fortress Warrior, but it negates the attack with its shield.

Ryu says, with a smile, “Sorry, Serena, but once per turn, Fortress Warrior can’t be destroyed in battle and I don’t take damage with him.”

Serena says, putting two cards into the spell/trap slots, “I end my turn with two cards face-down.”

Kalin says, with a plain tone, “The legendary Rainbow Dragon. If Ryu doesn’t stop her from bringing it out, he will be in big trouble.”

Ryu says, drawing a card, “It’s my turn, Serena-san!” Ryu thinks in his mind, “Okay, at least, I know what I’m up against. I’ve heard many stories of Jesse Anderson and the legendary Crystal Beasts and Rainbow Dragon. The Rainbow Dragon is a very powerful card and if I let Serena-san get it out, I will be in a big trouble. I’ve got to defeat her before she gets the monsters that she needs on the field or in the grave to summon Rainbow Dragon.” Ryu yells out, putting one card on his duel disk, “I play Road Synchron in attack mode!” Just then Road Synchron (1600/800) appears on the field in attack mode. Ryu says, with a serious tone, “Since there is a Tuner monster on my field, my Quillbolt Hedgehog returns to the field in attack mode. Soon after, Quillbolt Hedgehog (800/800) appears on the field in attack mode. Ryu says, with a serious tone, “Now, I tune my Road Synchron with my Quillbolt Hedgehog and my Fortress Warrior in order to Synchro Summon Road Warrior!” Road Synchron turns into four stars that turn into four rings that surround Quillbolt Hedgehog and Fortress Warrior making them become transparent in which a column of light appears on the field and when Ryu puts a Synchro Monster card from his Extra deck on his duel disk, he yells out, “Let’s rev it up!” Out of the light, Road Warrior (3000/1500) appears on the field in attack mode.

Sapphire Pegasus tells Serena, “Oh, boy! Something tells me that this boy is no pushover, Serena.”

Ryu says, as a card comes out of his duel disk, “I use Road Warrior’s ability and play one level one or two warrior or machine monster from my deck. Kick it up, Speed Warrior!” Speed Warrior (900/400) then appears on the field in defense mode. Ryu says, putting one card on his duel disk, “I release Speed Warrior in order to play Turret Warrior in attack mode!” Speed Warrior vanishes as Turret Warrior (1200/2000-2100/2000) takes Speed Warrior’s place and Ryu says, with a smile, “I can special summon my warrior by releasing one warrior monster on my field and he gains the attack points of the released warrior in which Turret Warrior’s attack points are now over two thousand!”

Serena thinks in her mind, nervously, “This is going to hurt guys.”

Ryu yells out, “Road Warrior, attack her Tiger now!”

Road Warrior changes in, slams into Topaz Tiger, and the jewel tiger roars as it shatters into pieces, but Serena says, pushing a button on her duel disk, “I activate my Crystal Pair trap card!” Serena’s face-down card is revealed to be the Crystal Pair trap card and Serena says, as a card comes out of her deck, “When a Crystal Beast is destroyed, I can take one Crystal Beast and put it into my spell and trap zones and I choose Ruby Carbuncle!”  Just then an unrefined ruby jewel appears in Serena’s spell and trap zones along with an unrefined topaz jewel in which Serena says, wit ha smile, “I also take no battle damage this turn!”

Ryu calls out, “Turret Warrior, take out Pegasus!” Turret Warrior blasts Sapphire Pegasus, causing him to yell out in a horse-like way as he is destroyed, but an unrefined sapphire jewel appears on Serena’s field while her trap card prevents her from getting damaged. Ryu says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “I end my turn with a face-down.”

Serena says, drawing a card, “It’s my move.” Serena says, pushing a button on her duel disk, “I activate my Jar of Greed!” Serena’s other face-down is revealed to be the Jar of Greed trap card and Serena says, drawing a card, “This card allows me to draw one more card from my deck and I also use the ability of my Field Spell in which since I have four Crystal Beasts in my spell and trap card zones, I get one more card!” Serena draws one more card and Serena says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “Next, I play my Crystal Beacon spell card! This card allows me to play one Crystal Beast from my deck since I have two or more in my spell and trap card zones!” A card comes out of Serena’s deck, she puts it on her duel disk, and she yells out, “And I choose my Amber Mammoth!” Soon after, Crystal Beast Amber Mammoth (1700/1600) appears on the field in attack mode. Serena says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “I activate my Pot of Greed! I draw two more cards from my deck!” Serena draws two more cards, puts one more card into the spell/trap slots, “I activate Graceful Charity! I draw three cards and discard two from my hand!” Serena draws three cards, discards one Crystal Beast Cobalt Eagle (1400/800) monster card and one Crystal Promise spell card, and she says, putting one card on her duel disk, “And next, I play my Amethyst Cat in attack mode!” Soon after, Crystal Beast Amethyst Cat (1200/400) appears on the field in attack mode and Serena says, holding another card from her hand, “You know, I had never had to summon this guy in a long time. I should let you know that one of the two cards that I discarded was Crystal Beast Cobalt Eagle.”

Kalin says, with a plain tone, “That’s not good. She has got all seven Crystal Beasts on her field or in her graveyard.”

Ayane yells out, stunned, “That means…!”

Serena says, putting that card on her duel disk, “I play my mighty Rainbow Dragon in attack mode, Ayane!” Just then all of the Crystal Beasts, on the field and in the spell/trap zones, along with a beam of light from the graveyard shoot up into the sky, and those lights take the form of Rainbow Dragon (4000/0) in attack mode with a mighty roar.

Davis yells out, stunned, “No way!”

Veemon says, amazed, “Wow, Davis. It’s beautiful.”

Ayane says, awe-struck, “You can say that again, Veemon.”

Haku says, amazed, “Incredible.”

Serena tells Ryu, “In all of my duels, I rarely had to bring out my Rainbow Dragon and I had won quite a few tournaments as the ‘Gem Princess’.”

Ryu asks, stunned, “Gem Princess? You are the Gem Princess?”

Davis asks, perplexed, “Hold up! Isn’t the ‘Gem Princess’ that awesome female duelist that won many tournaments even against pro-level duelists?” Davis says, slapping his head, “Doh! That’s where I saw those Gem Knight monsters before! They are her signature monsters!”

Leon says, with a smile, “It looks like this little princess has been hiding a few secrets.”
Serena says, with a nervous smile, “What can I say? I really love Duel Monsters. It’s my favorite game in the world and I learned everything about it.” Serena thinks in her mind, sweatdropping, “With Luna and Pyro always telling me that if I study as hard in school work that I will do well there too.” Serena sighs at thinking about her lost friends, but she shakes her head and comes back into reality. Serena yells out, strongly, “Rainbow Dragon, attack Road Warrior with Rainbow Reflection!” Rainbow Dragon unleashes a powerful beam of rainbow light and energy that slams into Road Warrior, destroying it, and causes Ryu to yelp as he loses 1000 life-points. Serena says, with a smile while putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “I think that will be enough for now.”

Ryu says, drawing a card, “It’s my move!” Ryu says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “I play Card of Sanctity! This card forces both of us to draw until we have six cards in our hands!” Both Ryu and Serena draw from their decks until they have six cards in their hands and Ryu says, putting one card on his duel disk, “I play Junk Synchron in attack mode!” Junk Synchron (1300/500) appears on the field in attack mode. Ryu says, seriously, “And now, Junk Synchron’s ability allows him to play one monster from my graveyard in defense mode as long as it is a level one or two! And I choose Speed Warrior!” Just then Speed Warrior (900/400) appears on the field in attack mode in which Ryu yells out, “And now, I tune my Junk Synchron with Turret Warrior!” Junk Synchron pulls the cord attached the motor on its back, it turns into three stars that turn into three rings that surround Turret Warrior making it become transparent, and as Ryu takes a Synchro Monster card from his Extra deck, a column of light appears on the field and he chants out, “Clustering hopes will become a new shining star! Become the path its light shines upon! Synchro Summon!” When Ryu puts the card on his duel disk, he yells out, “Stardust Dragon, let’s rev it up!” Out of the light, Stardust Dragon (2500/2000) appears on the field in attack mode in which the Signers’ ‘Mark of the Dragon’ reacts immediately.

Serena says, awe-struck, “So beautiful. I remember seeing that dragon in videos of your dad that my dad showed me.” Serena thinks in her mind, with a tear in her eye, “Papa…”

Ryu yells out, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “I activate my Polymerization spell card! And now, I fuse Stardust Dragon with Speed Warrior!”

Serena asks, stunned, “Huh? Fusing a Synchro Monster?” Soon after, the two said monsters on the field go into a fusion vortex as Ryu takes out a Fusion Monster card from his Extra Deck.

Ryu says, putting the said Fusion Monster card on his duel disk, “I play my Dragon Knight Draco-Equiste in attack mode!” Out of the fusion vortex, Dragon Knight Draco-Equiste (3200/2000) appears on the field in attack mode. Ryu says, pushing a button on his duel disk, “Next, I play my trap card: Call of the Haunted!” Ryu’s face-down trap card is revealed to be the Call of the Haunted continuous trap card and Ryu says, with a serious tone, “And with it, Stardust Dragon returns to the field in attack mode!” Stardust Dragon (2500/2000) then reappears on the field in attack mode. Ryu says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “Next, I activate my Synchro Gift spell card! This transfers the strength of my Stardust Dragon to one of my non-Synchro Monster until the End Phase of this turn!” Stardust Dragon’s stats go from 2500/2000 to 0/2000 while Draco-Equiste goes from 3200/2000 to 5700/2000! Ryu yells out, strongly, “Draco-Equiste, attack Rainbow Dragon now!”

As Draco-Equiste charges in with its spear, Serena yells out, “I activate my Rainbow Dragon’s ability and release all of my crystals on my field in which Rainbow Dragon gains one grand for every one of them!” All of the Crystal Beasts, monster and crystal versions, glow in which they are absorbed into Rainbow Dragon causes its stats to go up from 4000/0 to 10,000/0!

Leon yells out, amazed, “Ten thousand attack points?!”

Serena calls out, strongly, “Rainbow Dragon, counterattack with Rainbow Reflection!”

Rainbow Dragon unleashes its rainbow energy right back at Ryu, Ryu yells out, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “I activate my Battle Fusion spell card! Since my Fusion Monster attacked, Draco-Equiste gains attack points equal to Rainbow Dragon’s attack power!”

Serena yells out, shocked, “No way!” Just then Draco-Equiste goes up from 5700/2000 to 15,700/2000 and the two attacks clash in a powerful explosion of light causing the Signers’ ‘Mark of the Dragon’ to react greatly. Just then Ayane gasps as a vision passes through her eyes in which she is in the same dream with the Crimson Dragon, the Egyptian God Cards, Stardust Dragon, Ancient Fairy Dragon, Black-Winged Dragon, Black Rose Dragon, and Red Dragon Archfiend are battling against the evil forces that includes the Earthbound Immortals, but the three Aesir or Polar God monsters are there in which Odin, Father of the Aesir (4000/3500) is center stage in which a girl wearing a sailor fuku and having wings on her back is in Odin’s hand in which there are two dragons with her.

The first dragon is a large dragon with red-brown eyes, golden-brown and deep brown body, red claws, four insect-like wings on its back, and on its left arm, there is a red gantlet with a silver spear in which the dragon’s shape looks similar to Power Tool Dragon’s shape.

The second dragon is another large dragon that’s has a Leviathan-like head with beautiful silver dragon eyes, her body is a mixture cerulean blue and icy-blue, it has a muscular, yet, feminine shape to its dragon body, she has long and slender, but powerful arms with glittering silver claws, and the same with her legs in which her whole body seems to glow with an celestial beauty, but the greatest feature of them all is four pairs of angelic wings made of rainbow crystal.

Ayane thinks in her mind, “What’s going on here?” Just then she notices a strange ‘Mark of the Dragon’ glowing on the girl’s right arm in which it looks vaguely like the shape of the heart and Ayane thinks in her mind, “Hold on! Could that be…?!” But then the vision fades away as quickly as it came and Ayane seems the end of the duel in which Draco-Equiste slices through Rainbow Dragon in which it explodes into pieces causing Serena to shriek out as she loses 5700 life-points, ending the duel immediately.

With the end of the duel, Serena falls down on her bottom and after the holograms fade away, Serena says, amazed, “Oh, wow. Ryu-san, you really are the kid of Yusei and Akiza Fudo.”

Ayane says, with a giggle, “People keep telling us that, Serena-san.” Ayane thinks in her mind, “That vision that I saw, what was it about? That girl… she had the Dragon’s Heart and Uncle Leo’s dragon… could it be that…?”

Ryu tells Serena, with a smile, “You are very good, Serena. This is the most difficult duel that I had yet.”

Serena says, with a nod, “Thank you, Ryu-san. But I can see why Signers are not to be taken lightly.”

Haku says, “It is said that only a fellow Signer or a Dark Signer can truly defeat a Signer, Lady Serena.”

Serena tells Haku, with a kind smile, “I think that I can see why and by the way, just call me ‘Serena’, I may have been a princess, but I’m not one anymore.” Serena says, lowly, “Not as I will ever be a queen.”

Davis tells Serena, “Hey, girl, you can’t give up hope!”

Veemon says, with a grin, “We’re going to get your friends back! And they’ll be back before you know it, Serena-san!”

Serena says, with a nod, “Yeah, you’re right.”

Leon asks, curiously, “By the way, where is Naruto and Hinata?”

Kasumi says, with a plain tone, “Naruto-sama is training to get his newest version of his Rasengan ready and I think that Lady Hinata was with him. Ryu-sensei and Ayane-chan are watching them now.”

Ayane says, with a plain tone, “I can understand about Naruto’s feelings. I think that Tsunade went a bit too far there, but I’m not sure if Naruto isn’t taking this a bit overboard too.”

Ryu says, with a plain tone, “Maybe, sis, but if we’re going to help Naruto’s teammate and his teacher, we’re going to need her help.”

Momiji says, with a nod, “Lady Tsunade’s abilities in healing are legendary, Ayane-sama.”

Davis says, with a huff, “Yeah, we get that. But it is getting to be a real pain in the ass. I can understand that she lost people, but plenty of us have suffered some kind of great pain much like she has.” Davis says, with a sigh, “Even through we don’t like to remember it.”

Ayane, Ryu, and Haku nod their heads in agreement and Ryu says, with a nod, “It sounds a bit harsh, Davis, but I get what you are saying.”

Haku says, with a plain tone, “Hopefully, Naruto and Jiraiya-sama will be able to convince her to come with us and not participate in whatever deal Orochimaru wants.”

Ayane says, nervously, “Let’s just say that I’m not real sure with Naruto and that pervert.”

Davis says, with a nod, “You aren’t whistling Dixie, sister.” Unfortunately for Naruto, there are plenty of nods of agreement in which we find one Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze training with Hinata, Ninja Ryu, and Ninja Ayane watching over in which he lets off a loud sneeze in which he wondered why he sneezed in the first place.

(That evening; Elsewhere within town)

Right now, we find ourselves at a local food stand in the evening hours where we find Tsunade and Shizune eating in which they hear someone else enter the stand.

Just then a familiar male voice calls out, “Well, I never thought to see you here.” Tsunade and Shizune look to see Jiraiya entering the food stand.

Tsunade says, with a snort, “Go away. We’re busy.”

Jiraiya says, with a smile, “Don’t give me that. I know that you are happy to see me.”

Shizune says, “Jiraiya-sama…”

Jiraiya tells Shizune, “Shizune, would you leave the two of us alone for awhile? It has been years since we have a talk after all.”

Shizune leaves the stand and she thinks, looking back, “Thank you, Jiraiya-sama.”

After Jiraiya gets his food and drink, he tells Tsunade, “After all these years, I never thought that you would have that necklace. I would have guessed to gamble it away by now. Guess it is all that you have to remember them by.” Jiraiya asks Tsunade, “Is he on your mind?”

Tsunade asks, curiously, “Who?”

Jiraiya replies, with a sly smile, “Naruto, of course.”

Tsunade says, with a plain tone, “Not much.”

Jiraiya tells Tsunade, with a sly grin, “Don’t give me that Tsunade. I know when you are lying. He is a remarkable boy… despite what happened to him.” Jiraiya says, with a sly smile, “He has his mother and his father in him through much of his dad isn’t showing, but he has shown a talent for sealing jutsu. However, I’m not sure that it is much of a bet that you gave him. Sure, it took him close to two weeks to get the Rasengan down, but with it down as figuring out how to use Shadow Clones to train and getting the Elemental training down, he might surprise you just like his mom did.”

Tsunade says, with a plain tone, “So, he is, huh? I’ve got admit that I see plenty of her in him.”

Jiraiya asks, plainly, “Why so glum all of a sudden?”

Tsunade says, with a snort, “Who’s glum? I don’t know what you are talking about.”

Jiraiya tells Tsunade, in a plain tone, “You plan to meet with Orochimaru within the week that you gave Naruto aren’t you?” Tsunade gives a wide eyed expression and Jiraiya says, “It is too obvious especially for someone from the Dragon Clan, Tsunade. And I’m here to tell you, we are going to capture him on that day.”

Tsunade asks, plainly, “You plan to capture him?”

Jiraiya replies, plainly, “You know that girl that came to us looking for the Signers? Her parents back home were murdered by Orochimaru and her friends kidnapped by him.” Tsunade’s eyes widen and Jiraiya tells Tsunade, “Whatever deal that you made with him, I want to think about it very carefully. Remember the Hokage that have come before and all that they accomplished for the Leaf Village including Naruto’s own dad, the Fourth Hokage. It is only because of them that the village has survived and even prospered even in troubled times through village’s morality has taken a nasty dive in relationship to ‘certain people’. The gambled everything including their lives to make a dream of peaceful village even through the villagers themselves have betrayed one of them, most are learning to regret their actions and trying to make up for that crime. And you are making a deal with someone that just murdered an innocent girl’s family just for the powerful bobble around their neck. Orochimaru came after this girl for a powerful crystal in her broach which rivals the Crimson Dragon’s own power.”

Tsunade thinks in her mind, surprised, “A crystal that rivals the Crimson Dragon’s power?”

Jiraiya tells Tsunade, “Associate with someone like Orochimaru, even for one deal, and you are betraying all that they worked for. Would you do such a thing Tsunade? Associate with a murdered of an innocent girl’s family? A girl that doesn’t even live in our part of the world much less being a ninja and betray your own home like that?” Jiraiya glares at Tsunade and he says, seriously, “If I thought that you would, I would stop you right now even if I had to kill you.”

Tsunade says, with a plain tone, “It has nothing to do with me anymore.”

Jiraiya tells Tsunade, “Someone that doesn’t feel anything for those closest to him or her is no better than a butcher. You are not like that. I remember…”

Tsunade yells out, annoyed, “Okay, that’s enough of the lectures.”

Jiraiya says, with a plain tone, “I don’t think so. I didn’t agree with the gaki at first, but I starting to think that he and the others are right. That you need to hear this even if it needs to be pounded into your brain. You are not the only one that suffered great loss. Those two Signers, Ryu and Ayane Fudo, lost their parents to selfish people that wanted the Crimson Dragon’s power to themselves and now, they have people like Orochimaru after them. Not only their parents, but the rest of the Signers before them were their family and they were murdered right before their eyes with Ryu Fudo seeing his parents and their friends corpses as well as possibly seeing them murdered as well. The Motomiya also suffered a great pain in his heart.” He then explains about all he knows about Davis which surprises Tsunade.

Tsunade asks, stunned, “You mean that he was…?”

Jiraiya says, with a nod, “At the center of that ‘incident’, it is confirmed by his mom and sister. He is the last guardian of that seal and what happened that day haunts him including all those that died even through it wasn’t his fault. And now, this ‘Sailor Moon’ girl lost her family and a good amount of her friends by Orochimaru. We think that some of them have been captured by another organization, but we are not sure who and where they are. However, we do know that Orochimaru murdered her family just for that little powerful trinket in her broach.”

Tsunade tells Jiraiya, “Why did you have to bring all of them here including Naruto?”

Jiraiya tells Tsunade, “He is your godson, Tsunade. Why shouldn’t I bring him? They are a lot like you know?”

Tsunade says, weakly, “It is not just that…”

Jiraiya tells Tsunade, “And if you betray the Leaf, you would betray Naruto and would you do that? Would you betray the only piece of family that you have left even if you ‘adopted’ him, Tsunade? I don’t know why I said that since you would never go that low, but it is food for thought.” Soon enough, Jiraiya continues to eat as Tsunade looks low in which she thinks about her younger brother, Nawaki.

Tsunade thinks in her mind, “Damn you, Jiraiya. Did you really have to bring all that up?”

(Sometime later; Back with Orochimaru)

Returning to Orochimaru’s base, we find him and Kabuto discussing about their next meeting with Tsunade.

Kabuto tells Orochimaru, “What will you do, Orochimaru-sama? If Tsunade agrees to this, your arms will be restored and you can move on with your plans with the Leaf. And Lady Tsunade will be reunited with the ones that she loves. However, if things don’t go as planned, what then?”

Orochimaru says, with a sly smile, “Then we will have to use force to bend her to my way of thinking, Kabuto.”

Kabuto asks, “You think that it will be that easy?”

Orochimaru tells Kabuto, slyly, “That’s what you’re here for, Kabuto. But don’t worry, in the entire world, no one knows Tsunade better than I do, Kabuto. She will agree, you can bet on it, Kabuto.”

(Days later; Just outside of Tanzaku Quarters)

With in a barren area with destroyed trees and a river flowing through, there is a huge explosion in which when the smoke and dust clear, we find Naruto falling down on his bottom with a wide smile on his lips.

Naruto says, weakly, “I did it… everyone…”

Hinata tells Naruto, with a warm smile, “That’s great, Naruto-kun.”

Naruto says, with a foxy smile, “I know… Hinata-chan…” Naruto falls on his back and he says, breathing heavily, “Man, I really… took a lot of energy, huh…?”

Hinata goes down, picks up Naruto, and Hinata says, with a wide flush on her cheeks, “Y-You really did g-great, Naruto-kun.”

Naruto tells Hinata, with a foxy grin, “I thought that we had taken care of your stuttering… Hinata-chan. Anyway, I’m glad that you decided to take the training that the Pervy Sage gave me.”

Hinata tells Naruto, with a blush, “I-I’m just honored that you would teach me your family jutsu.”

Naruto tells Hinata, with a smile, “It’s no problem, Hinata-chan. I think that it is good that you have more to work with than your family’s Taijutsu.” Naruto tells Hinata, “Hey, Hinata-chan?”

Hinata asks Naruto, “Yes, Naruto-kun?”

Naruto tells Hinata, rubbing his head, “Hinata-chan, I’ve… really enjoyed our time together. The few dates and all, Hinata-chan. I feel things that I never felt before.” Hinata blushes and Naruto asks Hinata, “Hinata-chan, you know everything about me and you still love me?”

Hinata replies, blushing, “I-I do N-Naruto-kun. T-To me, you are my N-Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze, my h-hero, my inspiration, and m-my strength. Y-You work h-hard and r-refused to give up. You g-gave me strength and I will love you forever, Naruto-kun.”

Naruto tells Hinata, with a warm smile, “Hinata-chan, I feel the same way. When we get back, maybe you and I should tell your dad, we decided to agree to be married when the time is right.”

Hinata replies, her blush reaching its maximum, “R-Really, N-Naruto-kun?”

Naruto tells Hinata, with a smile, “Believe it, Hinata-chan.” He then brings Hinata closer to him and Hinata feels her heart racing in which he close to fainting, but when she shuffles around, she slips forward and the two of them connect lips in which causes Naruto to blush.

Hinata leaps back and she says, very nervously, “I-I’m sorry, N-Naruto-kun!”

Naruto tells Hinata, blushing, “Um, its okay, Hinata-chan. I… I liked it.”

Hinata asks, curiously and her cheeks still red as a beet, “You did, Naruto-kun?” Naruto nods his head and he then surprises Hinata by kissing her again in which she thinks, “Naruto-kun is kissing me! He is truly kissing me! Don’t faint, Hinata! Don’t faint now!” However, the two of them start to embrace on instinct and the kiss between them intensify in which we look some distance we find Tsunade watching them silently in which she leaves as she notices Shizune to arrive on the scene too.

(The following morning; Back at the ruins of Tanzaku Castle)

This morning, we find Serena and Ayane together at where Tsunade and Shizune met with Orochimaru and Kabuto exactly one week before as they exam where Tsunade destroyed a part of a wall with a single punch. Both females are wearing duel disk attached to their left wrists with their dueling decks inside in which Ayane insisted both of them on doing.

Serena says, amazed, “Oh, wow. She must be that powerful.”

Ayane says, with a nod, “I’ll say, Serena. Super-strength is right.”

Serena tells Ayane, “Do you think that this is all right? I know that I can use chakra because of my Sailor Scout powers or so the pervert theorizes, but I barely got started on my training.” FYI: When they started, it was found that Serena can use chakra very much like the other Elemental Country ninja in which when she explained about her Sailor Scout powers and their augmenting abilities, Jiraiya theorizes that her powers as a Sailor Scout has something to do with in which her spiritual and physical energies are enhanced. With her Silver Crystal, Serena was found to have a high level of chakra possibility rivaling a Jinchuriki like Naruto, but like Naruto at the start of his ninja career, she has no chakra control and she has to start getting control of her chakra through chakra control exercises starting with the tree walking which she barely managed to get down last evening.

Ayane says, with a plain tone, “You know that today is when Orochimaru is going to come and we didn’t exactly get a plan developed to capture him. However, he has no experience against someone with Psychic Duelist powers like me, so, I figured that I can trap him and make him tell where he sent your friends.”

Just then a familiar female voice calls out, “What are you doing here?” Serena and Ayane yelp and they turn to see Tsunade looking at them.

Ayane tells Tsunade, seriously, “You know that we know that you are going to meet Orochimaru today and we’re here to get our answers from him.”

Tsunade says, with a snort, “Are you trying to get yourselves killed? She might be some kind of super-hero and you are training to be a ninja, but he is the same as me, Lady Ayane.”

Ayane says, with a serious tone, “He hasn’t any experience with the powers that I weld. And if you plan to help him, I take you down where you stand.”

Tsunade asks, with a glare, “Do you know who you are talking to?”

Ayane retorts, activating the duel disk attached to her left wrist, “The question is: Do you know who you are DEALING with, Miss Legendary Ninja?” The two of them glare at each other and Serena worries that a battle will start.

(Around the same time; Elsewhere)

In another part of Tanzaku, we find Shizune lying down on the floor and groaning as she slowly wakes up in which she sees Hinata and Naruto hovering over her while the rest of our heroes and heroines at looking in the room through the open door.

Hinata asks Shizune, “Shizune-dono, are you okay?”

Shizune says, weakly, “Hinata… Naruto…” Shizune gasps, goes into a sitting position, and she yells out, “What day is it? What time is it?”

Naruto replies, nervously, “Monday morning…”

Hinata asks Naruto, “Shizune-dono, what are you doing on the floor?”

Shizune replies, “It is a bit of a story, Shizune-san.”

Naruto says, with a grin, “Whatever, Shizune-san. Anyway, where is the old bat? I’m here to claim my prize!”

Shizune asks, stunned, “You are done with the training?”

Naruto yells out, excitedly, “Oh, yeah! It took me training day and night, but I’m done! In fact, I’ve got a wind style Rasengan and another awesome new Rasengan. Believe it, Shizune-san!” Naruto says, rubbing his head, “Through I’ve only recently finished and it might have a few ‘bugs’ in it.”

Davis says, with a plain tone, “By the way, we’re also missing the pervert, Serena-san, and Ayane-san and we thought that they might be with you.”

Shizune says, shaking her head, “They are not.” Shizune then gasps and she says, running to the window, “Everyone, stay here!”

Veemon asks, curiously, “Why?” But after Shizune opened the window, a kunai passes by her head which nearly hits her in which she looks in the direction it came from causing her to gasp in shock.

Naruto asks, confused, “What is it?” Naruto goes over to the window and opens the other side of the large room in which he gasps to see Jiraiya standing on the roof near the porch of Tsunade’s and Shizune’s room. He is breathing heavily and looks really ragged.

Jiraiya says, weakly, “She slipped me a mickie.” Soon enough, Ninja Ayane, Ninja Ryu, Momiji, Kasumi, and Ninja Ryu assemble with Naruto and Shizune on the roof in which the rest of the group look at the window and porch in which Shizune, Momiji, Ninja Ayane, and Ninja Ryu assist in Jiraiya in regaining his strength.

Momiji asks Jiraiya, “How do you feel Jiraiya-sama?”

Jiraiya replies, with a sigh, “Better Momiji-san, I’m glad that you are here with herbs and potions that can help.”

Ninja Ayane tells Jiraiya, “We are not as skilled as Lady Tsunade and you are lucky, we are blessed with such plants to somewhat counter the potion that she gave you.”

Momiji says, with a plain tone, “We might have been to do better if we had a sample of what she used on you, Jiraiya-sama.”

Ninja Ryu tells Jiraiya, “At this moment, you should have over half of yours strength back… around sixty percent at most.”

Jiraiya says, with a nod, “That’s what I feel like, Hayabusa-sama.”

Kasumi says, with a plain tone, “It will take our potions and herbs sometime to completely get rid of the effects of the potion that Tsunade-sama used on you, but far faster than allowing the potion to take its course.”

Davis says, with a huff, “Some great ninja.”

Naruto yells out, annoyed, “I know, Davis! Way to go, Pervy Sage! I can’t believe that you let her do that to you after you telling us how great a ninja you are! Did you let her pretty looks get to you?”

Jiraiya tells Naruto, annoyed, “Shut up, gaki!” Jiraiya says, with a sigh, “I hate to admit that you might have a point. How can I not see Tsunade slipping a tasteless and odorless potion into my drink? I must be slipping.” On the meanwhile, Kabuto is watching some distance away from the corner of a nearby building.

Kabuto thinks in his mind, “Jiraiya the Toad Sage? This is more than I bargained for and he has Naruto with him. With the power that the boy showed at the tournament, I should underestimate him especially since he is a Chunin now. He has the Hyuga heiress and the other Signers with him as well as those from the Mugen Tenshin and Dragon clans. This is way beyond of my ability to handle.” Kabuto then sneaks away and Naruto whips his head towards the area that he was in.

Leon asks Naruto, “What’s wrong Naruto?”

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “I sensed a real nasty aura nearby and it felt familiar.”

Jiraiya says, with a plain tone, “I sensed it too, Naruto. Most likely, it was Kabuto.”

Naruto asks, surprised, “Kabuto?”

Kalin says, with a plain tone, “Today is the day, everyone. Orochimaru is here.”

Naruto says, with a groan, “Oh, great! And we don’t have a plan!”

Davis says, with a grin, “Maybe we should go on the fly? My friends and I kind of do that a lot.”

Veemon says, with a grin, “And it works out in the end.”

Ryu says, with a plain tone, “It seems like we have been doing plenty of that lately.”

Jiraiya says, getting to his feet, “However, we need to know what’s going on here everyone.” Jiraiya tells Shizune, “Okay, Shizune, time to tell us what Orochimaru offered Tsunade to get back his arms and what else you know about your last meeting with them.”

Shizune says, with a plain tone, “I’ll explain on the way, everyone.”

Davis tells Naruto, “You and the others go on ahead! We’ll capture up as quickly as we can!”

Naruto says, with a nod, “Right, Davis!”

Rachel says, with a plain tone, “Not without me, you aren’t.” As Naruto, Hinata, Haku, Shizune, Jiraiya, Rachel, Ninja Ryu, the two kunoichi from the Mugen Tenshin clan, and the Dragon Shine Maiden prepare to head off, Davis prepares to digivolve Veemon into ExVeemon to get the others to where Tsunade, Ayane, and Serena are now.

(Back with said people; A short time soon after)

Back with Tsunade, Ayane, and Serena, we find Ayane and Tsunade starting each other down when Tsunade senses someone nearby.

Just then a familiar male voice calls out, “I didn’t expect you to have company Tsunade.” The three females look to see Orochimaru approaching them and Serena steps back in fear as she looks at Orochimaru.

Ayane says, with a serious tone, “Orochimaru.”

Orochimaru says, with a sinister smile, “If it isn’t the Lady Signer? I’m surprised to see you all the way out here.”

Ayane says, with a serious tone, “Don’t be jerk.”

When Orochimaru looks at Serena, he says, with a sinister smile, “If it isn’t ‘Miss Tsukino’, I was wondering where you have gone for all this time.”

Ayane yells out, strongly, “Did you kill her family?”

Orochimaru says, with a sinister smile, “What did you expect me to do? They were in my way and I don’t like things in my way.”

Serena exclaims, tears in her eyes and anger in her blue eyes, “They did nothing to you? You had no right!” Tsunade clenches her right hand and her eyes narrow dangerously.

Tsunade steps forward and she says, “I will heal your arms only if you promise me one thing: You will keep your hands off the Leaf Village.” Ayane and Serena give looks of surprise at Tsunade and Tsunade tells Orochimaru, “And so you know, if you decide to go after the Signers and Tsukino-san after I heal your arms, I can’t promise you that I won’t try to stop you.”

Orochimaru tells Tsunade, “Very well.”

Tsunade tells them, sternly, “You, two, will stay back.”

Ayane says, seriously, “Hold on!” However, Tsunade gives them a glare that scares both females and she goes over to Orochimaru as she forms a sphere of energy in which Ayane and Serena give curious looks, but Ayane gets a feeling that’s not healing jutsu she is preparing to use. But before either of them can make contact, they leap back as a kunai goes in-between them and they look to see Kabuto nearby.

Ayane thinks in her mind, “Is that the Kabuto person?”

After Kabuto leaps down, Orochimaru asks, “What is this? Did you come all this way to betray me… Tsunade?!” Orochimaru tells Tsunade, “So, that’s your answer Tsunade? After all I offered you, you would try to kill me? Good thing for me that I can count on Kabuto’s loyalty and he saw the evil intent in your healing hands.”

Kabuto says, “That’s right. She and I were from the medical corps.”

Orochimaru says, with a sinister smile, “Tsunade, I was going to restore your loved ones to you and I even gave up my dream to destroy the Leaf Village.”

Ayane thinks in her mind, seriously, “Yeah, right.”

Tsunade tells Orochimaru, “I knew that your promise to leave the Leaf Village alone was worthless, but then, I was still so tempted to see them one more time even if it was for a moment. I was willing to give up the lives of the village to see them again. I couldn’t believe I would be… so weak. But you are too late, you snake. I know now that I may have lost loved ones, but I still have ones left. People that are valuable to me and the last link of my loved ones who hold the same dream as they did and I can’t betray him or them.”

Orochimaru says, with a sinister smile, “I’m afraid that you give me no other choice, but to use force.” Tsunade whips her tears away and launches a powerful attack on them with a downward kick in which Orochimaru and Kabuto dodge out of the way while Tsunade slams her foot into the ground creating a huge explosion of dirt and rocks while also creating a good sized crater.

Serena and Ayane are shocked and Serena says, “I heard of putting your foot down, but that’s just plain ridiculous!”

Ayane says, with a nod, “I’ll say girlfriend!”

Tsunade yells out, with a serious glare and tone, “Come on, Orochimaru!”

Orochimaru says, slyly, “In all these years, you and I never actually met in combat, Tsunade!”

Tsunade discards her green robe and she says, seriously, “That’s right.”

As Tsunade charges, Kabuto says, seriously, “Don’t get your hopes up. You still have to go through me.”

Tsunade says, seriously, “Doesn’t matter! It will be pleasure to kill you both right now!” Tsunade slams her fist into the wall where they were fighting and destroys it, but Orochimaru and Kabuto leap to a nearby tree.

Orochimaru tells Kabuto, “She hasn’t lost any of her strength! It won’t get well for you if she connects!”

Kabuto says, plainly, “I can see that, Orochimaru-sama. This isn’t the battlefield that I would have chosen. It is too cramped.”

Orochimaru asks, curiously, “A change of scenery then?”

Kabuto says, with a nod, “Yes, Orochimaru-sama. A change of scenery would be wise. When I found her assistant, I found her with a couple of people that will make things more troublesome for us. And they might be here any minute.” Just then Tsunade attacks again and breaks the branch, but Orochimaru and Kabuto manage to dodge and retreat for a better battlefield.

Orochimaru asks, curiously, “Who are these ‘troublesome people’?”

Kabuto replies, “Jiraiya of the Sannin, Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze, and the rest of the Signers in which those of the Hayabusa clan and the Mugen Tenshin clan are with them.” As Orochimaru and Kabuto race off, Tsunade prepares to follow them.
As she races off, she yells out, “The two of you stay here! Wait for the others to arrive!” Before they can say a word much less protest, Tsunade was off after Orochimaru and Kabuto.

Serena asks, curiously, “So, what do we do now Ayane?”

Just then a male voice calls out, “Now, you prepare to meet oblivion, Sailor Moon.” The two girls whip around to the source and they see a male figure in a cloak with a black and silver version of typical duel disk with a dueling deck inside attached to his left wrist.

Ayane asks, seriously, “Who are you?”

The figure replies, “Just call me the Rare Dragon Hunter and I’ve come for both of you. I challenge both of you to a duel and this is a fight that you can’t deny.” Just then a force-field dome surrounds the two of them and devices attached to their chests in which they gasp in shock.

Serena says, groaning, “What is this? It feels like it is stabbing me in the heart.”

The figure replies, “In a way, it has. It has connected you to this duel and your life-points in this duel are connected to your life. When they reach zero, you will die.”

Serena asks, confused, “Why? Why are you doing this? Do you work for Orochimaru?”

The figure replies, plainly, “I don’t. This is my mission and if you wish to live, you will duel.”

Ayane tells Serena, with a serious tone, “I don’t think this guy is kidding around at all, Serena. We need to duel.”

Serena says, with a nervous tone, “Now, I see why you told me to keep this duel disk you gave me with me.” Soon enough, all three duelists activate their duel disks in which all three duelist have 4000 life-points on their counters and their decks are shuffled by their duel disks.

Ayane asks the figure, “No handicap since you are facing two on one?”

The figure replies, “I don’t need a handicap as you will soon see.”

All three duelists draw five cards from their decks and yell out in unison, “Duel!”

The figure tells them, “Since you are a tag team, you can’t show each other’s cards, other than card abilities, or discuss tactics, but you can share cards on the field, monsters, spells, and traps, to protect each other and in the case of monsters, use each other’s monsters for Tribute Summon, Fusion Summon, Synchro Summon, or any other form of summoning.”

Ayane says, drawing a card, “That’s fine by us! I’ll start this duel off!” Ayane says, discarding one card from her hand while putting another card on her duel disk, “I send my Dark Verger to the graveyard in order to play my Tuner monster, Quickdraw Synchron, in attack mode!” Just then Quickdraw Synchron (700/1400) appears on the field in attack mode and Ayane says, putting one card on her duel disk, “Next, I add my Tuningware as well, jerk!” Just then Tuningware (100/300) appears on the field in attack mode and Ayane calls out, “I now tune my Quickdraw Synchron with Tuningware in order to Synchro Summon Junk Gardna in defense mode!” Quickdraw Synchron turns into five stars that turn into five rings that surround Tuningware making it become transparent. When a column of light appears on the field, Ayane takes a Synchro Monster card from her Extra Deck and puts it on her duel disk causing Junk Gardna (1400/2600) appears on the field in defense mode.

The figure says, plainly, “A Synchro Summon on your first turn, huh? Interesting, Ayane Fudo.”

Ayane says, drawing a card, “I’m not surprised you know who I am, but you won’t win.”

The figure replies, plainly, “That’s where you are wrong. Not even the Signers have the power to defeat me and you will fall along with the Moon Princess.”

Serena asks, perplexed, “How do you know so much about me?”

When the figure doesn’t reply, Ayane says, putting two cards into the spell/trap slots, “We’re going to need to force the answers out of him, Serena. I’ll end my turn with a couple of face-downs.”

Serena says, drawing a card, “It’ll be mine turn now.” Serena says, putting one card on her duel disk, “I play my Gem Knight Tourmaline in attack mode!” Just then Gem-Knight Tourmaline (1600/1800), a yellow armored knight monster with a piece of topaz in the chest armor, appears on the field in attack mode. Serena says, putting two cards into the spell/trap slots, “And I end my turn with two cards face-down!”

The figure says, drawing a card, “It’s my turn.” The figure says, displaying one Fortissimo the Moving Fortress Field Spell, “By removing Fortissimo the Moving Fortress Field Spell from my hand from play, I can play a far more powerful Field Spell!”

Ayane says, stunned, “What?!”

The field spell slot of his duel disk opens, he puts a card inside, and the figure says, as the slot closes, “I activate Ark Cradle Citadel Field Spell!” Just then the whole area starts to rumble just as the rest of our heroes and heroines arrive with our ninja arriving in their usual manner with Leon, Kalin, Davis, and Ryu riding on ExVeemon.

Naruto asks, perplexed, “What’s going on here?”

Kalin says, with a serious tone, “It looks like Ayane and Serena are dueling someone.” Soon after, a bright light engulfs the area and all of them close their eyes for as long as the light lasts, but when the light fades away, our heroes and heroines see that Ayane, Serena, and their opponent is gone.

Ryu yells out, stunned, “Ayane?”

Hinata asks, perplexed, “Where did they go?”

Leon looks up and he says, pointing in the sky, “I think THAT’S a clue, everyone.” Everyone looks up and gasps to see what looks like the Arc Cradle in the sky.

Davis asks, stunned, “What is that thing?”

Ryu says, seriously, “That’s the Arc Cradle, basically Satellite from the apocalyptic future that Bruno, Aproia, the original Paradox, and ZONE had come from, but when my dad and mom along with the other Signers changed the future, it was destroyed or vanished. I don’t know how it returned.” Just then images of Ayane, Serena, and the figure on top of the done of the Arc Cradle appears above them.

Naruto says, seriously, “It’s them!”

Hinata asks, worriedly, “Isn’t there anything that we can do for them?”

Haku says, shaking her head, “I’m afraid not, Hinata-sama. We don’t know how they got up there and we are not sure if whoever they are dueling has some kind of defense against those trying to interfere in this duel.”

Ninja Ryu tells Jiraiya, “I think that it is for the best that we split up. Jiraiya-sama, you take Shizune, Naruto, Hinata, and Haku and try to find Lady Tsunade. From this field, I think that most likely that she didn’t agree to the deal and she is battling Orochimaru as we speak.”

Jiraiya says, looking around, “I agree, Hayabusa-sama. Looking at all of the new damage, something or someone pissed Tsunade off.”

Shizune thinks in her mind, “Thank goodness, Lady Tsunade.”

Ninja Ayane says, with a plain tone, “The rest of us will remain here and try to figure out a way to help him or at least keep an eye on them.”

Naruto asks, seriously, “But what about Ayane and Serena-san? Hinata-chan and I are Signers too.”

Ryu tells Naruto, with a kind smile, “My sister knows how to take care of herself, Naruto. You and Hinata need to believe in her.”

Jiraiya tells Naruto, “That’s right, gaki. The girl can take care of herself. We need to find Tsunade and fast.” Soon enough, they had Shizune’s and Tsunade’s pet pig, Tonton, start to sniff out Tsunade’s scent to locate her while the rest of the group stayed behind to watch the two-on-one duel. On top of the Arc Cradle or the illusion of it, Ayane and Serena are looking around in shock.

Ayane asks, stunned, “How is this possible?”

Serena asks, with a shrug, “You tell me, Ayane!”

The figure tells his female opponents, “Due to the power of this Field Spell, I can discard one monster from my hand in order to play any number of Machine or Tech Genus monsters from my deck as long as they equal the level of the monster that I discarded!”

Ayane asks, shocked, “Machine or Tech Genus monsters?!”

The figure says, discarding one Perfect Machine King (2700/2400), “I discard my Perfect Machine King in order to play my Machine Imperial Soldier Grannel Ein and Machine Imperial Soldier Wisel Ein from my deck in attack mode!” Two cards come out of the figure’s deck, he puts them on his duel disk, and Machine Imperial Soldier Grannel Ein (1600/1200) and Machine Imperial Soldier Wisel Ein (1800/0) appear on the field in attack mode. The figure says, putting one card on his duel disk, “And now, I play Machine Imperial Soldier Skiel Ein in attack mode!” Soon after, Machine Imperial Soldier Skiel Ein (1200/1000) appears on the field in attack mode. The figure says, with a plain tone, “Now, my Soldiers gain one hundred attack points for every Machine Soldier or Machine Emperor other than themselves in which they are two others for of them, they gain two hundred attack points!” Just Grannel Ein goes from 1600/1200 to 1800/1200, Wisel Ein goes from 1800/0 to 2000/0, and Skiel Ein goes from 1200/1000 to 1400/0!

Serena says, lowly, “As if we didn’t have enough trouble from you, pal.”

The figure says, putting two cards into the spell/trap slots, “I end my turn with two cards face-down.”

Ayane says, drawing a card from her deck, “It’s my turn!” Ayane thinks in her mind, “I’ve got a bad feeling about this and something tells me I’ve got a good reason to modify my deck like I did recently.” Ayane says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “I activate my Graceful Charity! I draw three new cards and then discard two from my hand!” Ayane draws three new cards, discards two cards from her hand, and she says, putting one card on her duel disk, “Next, I play Spore in attack mode!” Soon after, Spore (400/800) appears on the field in attack mode.

The figure says, pushing a button on his duel disk, “I activate my Level Cannon continuous trap card!” One of the figure’s face-down cards is revealed to be the Level Cannon continuous trap card and the figure says, “As long as this card remains on the field, when we summon a monster, the person that summons a monster takes damage of two hundred life-points equal to its level! And now, you take two hundred points of damage!” The laser cannon fire a sphere of energy at Ayane and she screams out in pain as the attack rips into her costing her two hundred life-points.

Serena yells out, shocked, “Ayane!” Serena tells the figure, “This isn’t a duel! This is murder!”

The figure tells Serena, “This is no duel for fun, princess. This is a duel with your very life on the line and it is your kind and gently heart that will make you lose just it cost you the people that you loved most.”

Ayane tells Serena, breathing heavily, “Don’t listen to him, Serena. I’m… alright.” Ayane yells out, “I tune my level one Spore with my level six Junk Gardna!” As Spore turns into a single star that turns into a ring that surround Junk Gardna causing it to become transparent, she takes out a card from her Extra Deck while a column of light appears on the field while she chants out, “Docking strength with courage to protect world peace! Synchro Summon!” Ayane calls out, putting the Synchro Monster card on her duel disk, “Time to really ‘tune it up’, Power Tool Dragon!” Out of the light, Power Tool Dragon (2300/2500) appears on the field in attack mode.

Serena thinks in her mind, perplexed, “Power Tool Dragon? I thought that she would summon her Black Rose Dragon!”

The figure says, emotionlessly, “Level Cannon’s effect activates, fool.” Just then the laser cannons fire again and Ayane yells out in pain as the laser ‘cannon balls’ slam into her causing her to get greatly burned in her skin and clothing as she loses 1400 more life-points.

Serena calls out, horrified, “Ayane!”

Ayane says, weakly, “Don’t worry… Serena… I’ll be all right…” Ayane says, with a serious tone, “I activate Power Tool Dragon’s ability!” Three cards come out of Ayane’s deck and she says, holding them with their backs to the figure, “Now, I take three Equip spell cards from my deck and you pick one which goes to my hand! And the other two return to my deck to get reshuffled!”

The figure says, plainly, “The middle one.” Ayane puts the other two into her deck, they get reshuffled, and she puts the card into the spell/trap slots which reveal it to be Mark of the Rose equip spell card.

Ayane says, with a grin, “You just gave me my Mark of the Rose equip spell card and now, I remove one Plant monster to get control of one of yours! I remove Spore and take control of your Skiel Ein!” Ayane removes the said monster card from her graveyard and a rose tattoo appears on Skiel Ein in which she goes to her side of the field. Ayane says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “Now, I play Double Summon spell card! Now, I get another summon this turn! So, I release your Skiel Ein to play Prime Material Dragon in attack mode!” Skiel Ein vanishes as Prime Material Dragon (2400/2000) appears on the field in attack mode.

The figure replies, emotionlessly, “Level Cannon’s effect activates, fool.” The two large cannons fire on Ayane, but the energy is then absorbed by Prime Material Dragon and send into Ayane causing her to regain 1200 life-points.

Ayane says, with a grin, “Prime Material Dragon’s ability negates damage like that and allows me to covert it into life-point recovery, buster!”

Serena says, excitedly, “Great job, Ayane! Now, give show this creep why you shouldn’t mess with girls!”

Ayane yells out, “No problem, Serena! Power Tool Dragon, attack Grannel Ein!” Power Tool Dragon moves in to attack Grannel Ein in which its stats reduce down to 1700/1200 while Wisel Ein goes down to 1900/0 with the loss of Skiel Ein.

The figure says, pushing a button on his duel disk, “I activate my trap: Gravity Bind!” The figure’s other face-down card is revealed to be the Gravity Bind continuous trap card and he says, “This trap perverts all monsters that are level four or above from attacking.” Just then powerful gravity waves hit the field and Power Tool Dragon is thrown back to Ayane’s side.

Ayane says, with a serious tone, “I end my turn.”

Serena says, drawing a card, “It’s my turn!” Serena says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “I play Card Destruction! Now, all of us must discard all the cards in our hands and redraw the same cards that we discarded!” Serena discards the only three cards in her hand and she is the only one with cards to discard in the first place in which she draws three new cards. Serena says, putting one more card into the spell/trap slots, “I activate my Crystal Blessing spell card! This card allows me to take two Crystal Beasts from my graveyard and put them in my spell and trap card zones as continuous spell card! And I choose the two that I sent to the graveyard: My Emerald Turtle and Sapphire Pegasus!” Serena takes two cards from her graveyard slot, puts them into the spell/trap slots, and unrefined emerald and sapphire jewel appears in her spell/trap zones. Serena says, putting one card on her duel disk, “And now, I release my Gem-Knight in order to Advance Summon my Manga-Slash Dragon in attack mode!” Gem-Knight Tourmaline vanishes and Manga-Slash Dragon (2400/1200) appears on the field in attack mode.

The figure says, plainly, “Level Cannon’s ability activates, princess.” When the cannon’s fire, Prime Material Dragon’s ability activates and Serena’s life-point increase by 1200 instead of dropping by 1200.

Ayane says, with a giggle, “My dragon’s ability makes it useless, jerk!”

Serena says, putting the last card in her hand into the spell/trap slots, “Then I play my Crystal Promise, pal! This card allows me to play one Crystal Beast from my spell and trap zones and I choose Sapphire Pegasus!” Just then the sapphire glows and transforms into Crystal Beast Sapphire Pegasus (1800/1200) appears on the field in attack mode in which Level Cannon fires again in which Prime Material Dragon absorbs the attack in which Serena gains 800 life-points more. Serena says, taking a card from her deck, “And now, I use Pegasus’ ability and put one Crystal Beast in my spell and trap zones and I choose Ruby Carbuncle!” Soon after, an unrefined ruby jewel appears in Serena’s spell/trap zones and Serena yells out, “And now, I use Manga-Slash Dragon’s ability and by taking down one of my continuous spell cards to take down one of your spell or trap cards! I release my Emerald Turtle and take down your Level Cannon!” Manga-Slash Dragon slashes through the Level Cannon trap card causing the holograms to shatters into pieces.

Ayane says, with a grin, “Nice work, Serena! All we need to do is take down his Gravity Bind next turn!”

Serena says, with a smile, “I end my turn, pal.”

The figure says, with a plain tone, “My Field Spell’s second ability activates in which any player without a machine monster takes damage equal one hundred times the number of machine monsters on the field.” Serena gets shot at by lasers by due to Prime Material Dragon, she gains 300 life-points instead of losing those same points.

The figure draws a card and he says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “I play of Pot of Greed and draw two more cards.” The figure draws two more cards, puts one into the spell/trap slots, and he says, “Then I play Monster Reborn to revive Skiel Ein!” Soon after, Machine Imperial Soldier Skiel Ein (1200/1000-1400/1000) returns to the field in attack mode in which Wisel Ein goes back up to 2000/0 with Grannel Ein going up to 1800/1200. The figure says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “Then I play Gift of the Machine Emperors! This card allows me to draw one card for every Machine Emperor or Machine Imperial on my side of the field and since I have three Machine Imperial Soldiers, I get three new cards.” He draws three more cards, puts one card into the spell/trap slots, and he says, as an image of a continuous spell card with a picture of a monster with a shield to protect it from gravity fields appear on the field, “I activate my Delton Shield spell card! As long as this spell card remains on the field, my monsters and I are not effected by the effects of my continuous trap cards!”

Ayane yells out, shocked, “Oh no! That means his own Gravity Bind can’t effect him anymore! He can attack us now!”

The figure says, putting one card on his duel disk, “Indeed, I can, Ayane Fudo. And now, since I have three Imperial Machine Soldiers on my field, I can Machine Imperial God Dragon Asterisk in attack mode!” Just then the Ener-D generation in the center of Arc Cradle bursts with rainbow light and out of that light, Machine Imperial God Dragon Asterisk (0/0) appears on the field in attack mode. The figure says, plainly, “This monster gains the attack points of all machine monsters on my field and you can’t attack any other monster other than this one!” Soon after, Asterisk goes from 0/0 to 5200/0!

Serena says, shocked, “Over five thousand attack points?! That’s impossible!”

The figure yells out, “Asterisk, show her that it isn’t impossible! Destroy her dragon with Infinity Nemesis Stream!” The monster unleashes a powerful energy blast from its mouth and destroys Manga-Slash Dragon which explodes and Serena screams out in extreme pain as she loses 2800 life-points.
Ayane says, stunned, “Serena!”

The figure says, “Wisel Ein, destroy her Pegasus!” Wisel Ein attacks Sapphire Pegasus and slices through him causing him to be destroyed in which Serena gasps as she loses 200 more life-points. The figure says, with a plain tone, “Direct attack Grannel and Skiel Ein!” The two named machine monsters unleash their attacks in which Serena yells out in pain as they rip into her causing her to cause horrible cuts and burns as she loses 3000 life-points. Serena collapses onto the ground on her back while the device attached to her heart glows red with her life-points being so low. On the meanwhile, her Sapphire Pegasus turns back into a crystal in her spell/trap zone due to its ability.

Ayane says, horrified, “Serena, get up! You need to get up!”

The figure says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “Don’t bother, Signer Ayane Fudo. Her end has come along with your own. I shall end my turn with one card face-down.”

Serena struggles to get to her feet, but her body is racked with wounds and her life-energy so low in which the figure tells her, “Do you feel it, Sailor Moon? The helplessness, the pain, and agony. This is despair, princess. Feel it, learn it, and know it well because you will feel the embrace of death soon enough.”

Serena thinks in her mind, weakly, “Is this it? Could this be what Sailor Charon warned me about? By getting the help of the Signers, will my friends be saved, but I will die?”

Ayane tells Serena, pleadingly, “Serena, don’t give up! Don’t listen to him! Your friends still need you!” Just then the images of Serena’s friends, her fellow Sailor Scouts, appear in Serena’s mind and she slowly gets back to her feet.

Serena says, weakly, “I can’t give up… not now…”

The figure says, plainly, “Pointless, princess.”

Ayane says, drawing a card, “It’s my turn, pal!” Ayane thinks in her mind, “I need to move fast! Serena won’t survive one more turn! And she can’t die! I won’t let her!” Ayane says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “I activate Card of Sanctity! All of us must draw cards until we have six cards in our hands!” All three duelists draw cards from their decks until they have six cards in their hands. Ayane says, putting one card on her duel disk, “I summon my Twilight Rose Knight in attack mode!” Twilight Rose Knight (1000/1000) then appears on the field in attack mode and Ayane says, putting one card on her duel disk, “And now, I can play one Plant monster from my hand that’s level four or below and I choose my Cactus Fighter!” Soon after, Cactus Fighter (1900/400) appears on the field in attack mode. Ayane yells out, “I tune my Twilight Rose Knight with Cactus Fighter!” Twilight Rose Knight turns into three stars that turn into three rings that surround Cactus Fighter, making it become transparent, and when Ayane takes a Synchro Monster card from her Extra deck, a column of light appears on the field. Ayane chants out, “Chilling flames engulf the entire world. Pitch-dark flower, set into bloom! Synchro Summon!” When Ayane puts the Synchro Monster card on her duel disk, “Meet Black Rose Dragon!” Out of the light, Black Rose Dragon (2400/2000) appears on the field in attack mode.

The figure says, plainly, “Asterisk’s ability activates and you suffer one thousand points of damage by playing a Synchro Monster! Nemesis Tornado!” Asterisk unleashes a powerful dark tornado, but Prime Material Dragon absorbs the energy and turns it into energy that causes Ayane to gain 1000 more life-points.

Ayane yells out, slyly, “My Prime Material Dragon negates that attack and now, Black Rose Dragon’s ability allows me to destroy all cards on the field when she is successfully Synchro Summoned, pal! Black Rose Gale!”

But when Black Rose Dragon unleashes its tornado of wind and rose petals, the figure says, pushing a button on his duel disk, “Activate trap: Infinity Synchro Seal!” The figure’s face-down card is a continuous trap card of Synchro Monsters being entrapped by Machine Emperors and Machine Imperial Soldiers and the figure says, “Since I have Imperial Soldiers on my field, the abilities of all Synchro Monsters are now useless.” Black Rose Dragon roars as its abilities are negated.

Ayane says, with a growl, “Turn end.”

The figure says, with a plain tone, “Do you see how hopeless it is, Ayane Fudo? How hopeless your efforts are to save Sailor Moon? You shall both die.”

Serena says, weakly while drawing a card, “Not yet… It’s my turn… jerk…”

The figure says, displaying a monster card known as Machine Emperor Supporter (0/0), which has a picture of a monster that little version of the head of Machine Emperor Grannel, “I activate the effect of my Machine Emperor Supporter. With this card, I can negate the abilities of one monster for a number equal to number of Machine Emperor or Machine Imperial Soldiers that I have in which I discard it to negate Prime Material Dragon’s ability for four turns!”

Ayane says, shocked, “Oh no! It can’t protect us now!” After the figure discards the card, Prime Material Dragon roars as its ability is negated.

Serena thinks in her mind, “What can I do? Even my Rainbow Dragon can’t beat his ultimate monster, but if we don’t do something, we’re going to lose!” Serena looks at the cards in her hand and she thinks in her mind, “There is something, but if I do this then I… I can’t think like that, but I know that it is true. At least, Ayane will survive. I’m sorry girls, but I guess that this is goodbye. There is a card that could save me, but I’m not so good at ‘gamble cards’ like duelists like Joey Wheeler. But I know that the Signers will save you one way or another. I don’t want to die, but this is more about everyone else than me. And I know that the only way to save my friends is to save Ayane.” Serena says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “I activate my Take Over Five spell card! I discard the top five cards in my deck and as long as this spell card remains in my graveyard, I get to draw during every Standby Phase!” Serena discards the top five cards in her deck, noticing that they are Rainbow Dragon (4000/0) monster card and other four Crystal Beast monster cards, and Serena says, putting another card from her hand into the spell/trap slots, “I activate my Emergency Provisions spell card! Now, I can send any number of my spell and trap cards to the graveyard in order to regain one grand in life-points! So, I take Sapphire Pegasus and Ruby Carbuncle!” The two crystals shatter in which Serena’s life-points increase by 2000 more points in which Serena says, pushing a button on her duel disk, “Why did I do that? So, I can play my Rainbow Gravity jerk!”

When Serena’s face-down is revealed to be the Rainbow Gravity trap card, Ayane yells out, “Way to go, Serena!”

Serena says, with a plain tone, “When all seven Crystal Beast monsters are on the field, I can revive one Rainbow Dragon from my graveyard and due to first spell that I played this turn, I have one and my two spell cards gave me all seven Crystal Beasts, jerk!” Soon after, Rainbow Dragon (4000/0) appears on the field in attack mode.

The figure tells Serena, plainly, “Even with your Rainbow Dragon, you stand no chance against my monster and you can’t attack.”

Serena says, displaying a continuous spell card with jewels falling into a roulette table, “I play my Jewel Roulette spell card and end my turn.”

The figure says, plainly, “And you lose five hundred life-points due to my field spell, princess.” Serena screams out as Ener-D energy slams into her causing her to get more burned and lose 500 life-points.

Ayane says, worriedly, “Are you okay, Serena? You can’t give up.”

The figure says, plainly, “Why do you keep insisting on encouraging her suffering, Ayane Fudo? As you wish, you shall die first then.” The figure draws one card and he says, displaying a spell card showing Machine Imperial Soldiers creating a shockwave, “I activate Imperial Infinity Shockwave!” When the figure puts the cards into the spell/trap zones, he says, “With this card, I can destroy one of your spell and trap cards for every two Machine Imperial or Machine Emperor cards on my field and since I have four, your two face-down cards are gone.” Just then lightning comes from the field and Ayane yelps as her two face-down cards are gone.

Ayane says, stunned, “My traps!”

The figure says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “They are finished like you. I play my Pump Up spell card and double the power of my Asterisk for this turn!” Just then Asterisk goes up from 5200/0 to 10,400/0!

Serena yells out, stunned, “Over ten thousand attack points?!”

The figure says, pointing to Black Rose Dragon, “Now, destroy her hope, Asterisk, and her dragon! Infinity Nemesis Stream!”

Asterisk unleashes his attack at Black Rose Dragon and Ayane thinks in her mind, horrified, “I’ve lost! I can’t defend myself!”

Serena tells Ayane, with a smile, “Ayane, it will be all right. Just promise me this: Save my friends and tell them goodbye.” Ayane gasps at Serena and she yells out, pushing a button on her duel disk, “I activate my final trap card: Rainbow Refraction!” Serena’s face-down card is revealed to be a trap card with Rainbow Dragon and Rainbow Dark Dragon unleashes their attacks on each other causing a shower of rainbow ‘sparks’. Serena says, with a serious tone, “When Rainbow Dragon isn’t the target of an attack and I have all seven Crystal Beasts in my graveyard, I can redirect the attack to my dragon and he gains attack points to equal your monster’s attacks points, but we suffer damage equal to half of your monster’s attack points!” Asterisk’s attack is redirected to Rainbow Dragon and it roars as its stats go up from 4000/0 to 10,400/0!

Ayane yells out, horrified, “Don’t, Serena! You’ll die!”

Serena tells Ayane, with a smile, “I know, Ayane. I don’t… I don’t want to die, but my friends mean more to me than my own life. They have their own lives and families as well as loved ones while I lost my boyfriend and family. I can’t put my life over theirs and you are their only hope.” Serena tells the figure, strongly, “Even if I die, I don’t die with despair, pal! I die with hope in my heart and being! I know that this world is in good hands and I know that my friends will be saved even through it won’t be by me! I regret that I couldn’t say goodbye! Rainbow Dragon, end this with Rainbow Reflection!” Rainbow Dragon unleashes its attack to counter Asterisk and the two attack collide causing a massive explosion in which Serena cries out in extreme pain and agony as backlash hits her hard causing her life-points to zero immediately. When the explosion dies down, her body is smoking and her eyes are blank in which she collapses down in which her life seems to have come to its end.

There are many gasps from those watching on the ground and Ayane in which Ayane yells out, horrified, “Oh no! This can’t be! Serena! Serena!”

Joining up with the ninjas, we find Jiraiya, Naruto, Hinata, Haku, and Shizune in-between Kabuto and Tsunade, who is on ground while trying to recover from an attack on ability to breath by Kabuto, in which Hinata puts her hand on her heart.

Naruto asks Hinata, “What is it, Hinata?”

Hinata replies, “I… I don’t know, Naruto. I feel distress… like someone that I cared about… like my sister, Hanabi, is dead…” Hinata thinks in her mind, “What is this horrible feeling?” Everyone notices Naruto’s and Hinata’s ‘little talk’, but what they don’t know is that Naruto’s and Hinata’s decks, stored in special storage scrolls, are glowing.

Back at the duel, we find Serena, lifeless on the ground, while we find the figure, his cloak burned and torn, still has Asterisk on the field, but Skiel Ein is missing, Asterisk’s stats are reduced to 8800/0 with Wisel Ein at 1900/0 and Grannel Ein at 1700/0, and the figure still has six hundred life-points in which Ayane asks, stunned, “How can… you be alive?”

The figure replies, “I released Skiel Ein to save my Asterisk and then I activate my Emergency Provisions to release my Infinity Synchro Seal in which I gain one thousand life-points in which the damage I survived due to the damage being reduced forty-four hundred rather than over five thousand. Foolish, little princess. Even in death, she still holds to foolish hope.”

Ayane says, with tears in her eyes, “I won’t… I won’t forgive you for this! I will defeat you and save Serena’s friends! I won’t give up! As long as one of us still lives, there is still hope! I won’t give up hope just like Serena never did! No matter what it takes, I won’t let her death be in vain!” But then there is a glow on the field and Ayane looks to see her Black Rose Dragon glowing in which the petals on its wings start to fall around the lifeless Moon Princes, but then images of Stardust Dragon, Ancient Fairy Dragon, Black-Winged Dragon, and Red Dragon Archfiend appear.

Ancient Fairy Dragon says, “Young princess, you have fought so hard, lost so much, and your courage and purity rival those of Hinata and Luna. It is not your time. Your original future may be gone, but this just means that you can build a brand new future, one even better. And even better future where the universe is united in peace and love. Of all the new Signers, you hold great importance because like Leo would be the one to save his sister… You are the one that will save all of the Signers, young one.” Just then a hologram of a roulette table appears out of the hologram of Serena’s Jewel Roulette continuous spell card.

Ayane looks at it and she says, gasping, “That card! If Serena’s life-points hit zero when all of her Crystal Beasts are in the graveyard, she gets a chance and if it works, she gets one hundred life-points and stays in the duel.” Just then seven jewel sphere bounce around in the roulette which has only three green areas with the rest being red and while four jewels land in the red, the other three land in the green causing a bright glow in which bathes Serena in which then all five ‘Marks of the Dragon’ glow with a bright light. Ayane asks, perplexed, “What’s happening?” Just then the whole Crimson Dragon mark appears on Serena’s waist in which her crescent moon sigil appears on her forehead and then a mysterious mark, vaguely shaped like a heart, appears in one of the Crimson Dragon’s claws in which Serena then transforms to Sailor Moon as the same mark appears on her right wrist. Soon after, the other five ‘Marks of the Dragon’ go to their current owners. Sailor Moon, glowing with a healing aura, gets back to her feet as her life-points go up to one hundred.

The figure thinks in his mind, “That’s impossible! Sailor Moon has become a Signer?!” On top of the current tallest building in Tanzaku Quarters, we find Sailor Charon looking at the scene with a wide smirk on her lips.

Sailor Charon thinks in her mind, with a sly smile, “And now, the plot thickens…”

Sailor Moon asks, perplexed, “What’s going on?”

Ayane says, excitedly, “You’re… You’re alive!”

Sailor Moon asks, looking at her arm, “What happened? And what’s this on my arm?”

Ayane tells Sailor Moon, “That’s the Dragon’s Heart Mark of the Dragon! You are the sixth Signer!”

Sailor Moon asks, stunned, “Dragon’s Heart? But I thought…?”

Ayane tells Sailor Moon, “This was a secret that only my family knew about, but in the final battle in the Arc Cradle, Uncle Leo became the Sixth Signer and regained the original Fifth Dragon, Life Stream Dragon bearing the new Dragon’s Heart ‘Mark of the Dragon’.”

Ancient Fairy Dragon says, with a nod, “That’s right, young princess. The bonds of Luna and the original Signers of this modern time gave the Crimson Dragon greater strength and power and through that strength, its power evolved to allow Leo to become the Sixth Signer, who’s strength of heart proved his worth to be among the warriors of Crimson Dragon-sama. You, Sailor Moon, have proven that worth and now, it is time for you to unleash the ‘final secret’ of us, the Signer Dragons, the dragon warriors of Crimson Dragon-sama.”

Ayane asks, perplexed, “What do you mean Ancient Fairy Dragon?” However, looking into Ancient Fairy Dragon’s eyes, Sailor Moon knew exactly what Ancient Fairy Dragon if only deep in her subconscious mind.

The figure says, in a plain tone, “My turn is not over yet.”

Sailor Moon says, with a serious tone, “Due to my spell card, it is! Since my spell was successful in saving me, your turn automatically comes to an end!” The figure gasps in shock and growls as his turn ends immediately with Asterisk going from 8800/0 to 3600/0!

Ayane says, drawing a card, “It’s my turn!” Ayane says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “I end my turn with one card face-down!”

Sailor Moon says, drawing a card, “It’s my move now and I draw another card due to my Take Over Five spell card!” After Sailor Moon draws another card, she says, putting one card on her duel disk, “I summon the Tuner monster, Hanewata, in attack mode!” Just then Hanewata (200/300) appears on the field in attack mode and Sailor Moon yells out, “Big mistake for allowing us to use each other’s cards, pal! I tune my Hanewata with Power Tool Dragon!” Soon after, Hanewata turns into a single star that surrounds Power Tool Dragon making it go transparent as the Crimson Dragon itself appears and surround the two of them. Sailor Moon chants out, “The courage and power to protect the future of the planet is a revolution! Synchro Summon!” When a new Synchro Monster card appears on Sailor Moon’s duel disk, “Let’s kick it up, Life Stream Dragon!” Out of the light of the Crimson Dragon, Power Tool Dragon seems to shatter apart revealing a flesh and blood monster inside of the machine monster in which Power Tool Dragon turns into Life Stream Dragon (2900/2400) in attack mode.

The figure says, his tone more serious, “Asterisk’s ability activates!”

But when Asterisk’s unleashes a dark tornado, Sailor Moon says, with a plain tone, “Life Stream Dragon negates all battle damage abilities!” Life Stream Dragon roars as it negates Asterisk’s ability and it unleashes rainbow energy onto Sailor Moon in which her life-points go up to 2000 in which she says, with a smile, “Much better, Life Stream. My new buddy also gives me a boost to two thousand life-points if my life-points are less than that when he is Synchro Summoned.” Sailor Moon says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “Next, I activate my Ancient Rules spell card! This card allows me to summon one Normal Monster that’s level five or higher! So, here’s Gem-Knight Crystal in attack mode!” Immediately, Gem-Knight Crystal (2450/1950), a silver knight monster with its armor having beautiful crystals all over its armor, appears on the field in attack mode. Sailor Moon says, with a serious tone, “And now, I activate Life Stream Dragon’s third special ability! With it, I can special summon one Tuner monster from my deck, but all of its abilities are negated!” A card comes out of Sailor Moon’s deck and she says, putting it on her duel disk, “I play the Tuner monster, Elephun, in attack mode!” Just then Elephun (500/300), a little monster that looks like a chibi-elephant’s head with wings attached to it, appears on the field in attack mode. Sailor Moon yells out, with new Mark of the Dragon blazing along with her crescent moon sigil as a new Synchro Monster card comes out of her Mark of the Dragon, “I tune my level two Elephun with my level seven Gem-Knight Crystal!” Just then the Tuner monster and the silver knight fly into the air as the red light of the Crimson Dragon surrounds him.

Ayane asks, perplexed, “The Crimson Dragon?”

Sailor Moon chants out, “From the waters of life and legend, the ancient star will shine again! Become a new path that all hope shines upon! Synchro Summon!” When Sailor Moon puts the new Synchro Monster card on her duel disk, she yells out, “Let’s do this, my friend! It’s time to shine, Crystal Leviathan Dragon!” Just then the Crimson Dragon unleashes a burst of rainbow light and out of that light, Crystal Leviathan Dragon (3000/2000), the mysterious blue dragon that Ayane saw in her vision, appears on the field in attack mode with a might feminine dragon roar!

Ayane yells out, stunned, “Who is that dragon?”

Ancient Fairy Dragon tells Ayane, “That’s our lost sibling, Ayane. She is the seventh Signer Dragon only to be brought out if the world is the greatest of perils, but she mysterious vanished millennia ago. Her name is Crystal Leviathan Dragon.”

Ayane think in her mind, stunned, “SEVENTH Signer Dragon?!”

The figure says, starting to sound nervous, “Asterisk’s ability activates, Sailor Moon!”

When Asterisk unleashes its powerful tornado, Sailor Moon calls out, “And Life Stream Dragon negates it, pal!” Life Stream Dragon unleashes light that negates Asterisk’s ability and Sailor Moon says, with a serious tone, “And now, since my dragon has been summoned, her ability activates and for every Beast, Winged-Beast, Sea Serpent, Fairy, and Dragon type monster out on my field or in this case, our field since Ayane and I are together, when she is Synchro Summoned, I get to negate the effects of one card on your field until the End Phase of this turn! Since there are four dragons, your Field Spell, Gravity Bind, Asterisk, and your Wisel Ein lose their abilities until the end of the turn!”

The figure says, stunned, “You can’t!” Just then Crystal Leviathan Dragon unleashes a rainbow energy that negates the abilities of said cards in which Asterisk goes down from 3600/0 to 0/0 with Wisel Ein going from 1900/0 to 1800/0.

Sailor Moon says, with a smile, “And Crystal’s second ability stays active as long as she is out in which she gives all of the monsters that I said before, minus herself, five hundred extra attack points! Okay, girlfriend, Aurora Boost!”

Crystal Leviathan Dragon then yells out, in a strong feminine voice, “Your wish is my command, my princess!” Sailor Moon and Ayane are shocked that this final dragon can talk like Ancient Fairy Dragon in which she roars as Life Stream Dragon goes from 2900/2400 to 3400/2400, Black Rose Dragon going from 2400/1800 to 2900/1800, and Prime Material Dragon goes up from 2400/2000 to 2900/2000!

Ayane says, pushing a button on her duel disk, “I activate my trap: Synchro Stream!” Ayane’s face-down card is revealed to be the Synchro Stream trap card and Ayane says, “With this trap card, I can choose one Synchro Monster on the field and it gains attack points equal to another Synchro Monster on the field when it attacks! So, I boost Crystal Leviathan Dragon with my Black Rose Dragon’s new strength!” Crystal Leviathan Dragon’s stats go up from 3000/2000 to 5900/2000 in which both dragons leap into the sky.

Sailor Moon tells Ayane, with a smile, “Let’s end this, Ayane!”

Ayane nods her head and both of them yell out, “End this duel now! Attack Asterisk with…!”

Ayane then shouts out, “Black Rose Flare!”

Sailor Moon cries out, strongly, “Rainbow Nova!” Crystal Leviathan Dragon unleashes a sphere of rainbow energy in which Black Rose Dragon unleashes its dark violet flames with black rose petals that surround the sphere like an atom which slam into Asterisk causing a massive explosion and the figure cries out as he is engulfed in column of light as he shatters into mechanical pieces showing that he was a robot as he loses 5900 life-points ending the duel immediately.

Ayane and Sailor Moon yelp as they and their monsters are envelop by the light as they close their eyes in which the Arc Cradle vanishes from the sky while the two duelists reappear in front of Ryu and his group.

When the two females open their eyes, Sailor Moon asks, perplexed, “What just happened?”

Ayane yells out, excitedly, “We did it!” Soon after, the rest of the group comes over to the two of them.

Leon says, amazed, “We saw everything, Ayane! That was incredible!”

Ryu notices the Dragon’s Heart ‘Mark of the Dragon’ and he says, with a smile, “So, even Uncle Leo’s Mark of the Dragon got passed down too.”

Davis asks, perplexed, “Hold on! I thought that there were only five Signers! Now, the Moon girl has become a SIXTH Signer?!”

Ayane says, with a giggle, “It is a bit of a story, Davis.”

Sailor Moon looks at her new ‘Mark of the Dragon’ and she thinks, “Could this be what Sailor Charon actually meant? Did she know that if I met up with the Signers that I would become one too?!”

Speaking of said Sailor Scout, we find Sailor Charon looking at the scene through some kind of crystal ball and she then says, “So far, so good. Now, new doors open and new possibilities are made.”

Just then a female voice calls out, “Do you really think that she and the other Signers handle what’s ahead of them?”

Sailor Charon tells the female voice, without looking at the source, “Of all people and Sailor Scouts, you doubt her?”

The voice tells Sailor Charon, “Pluto isn’t going to like it once she is rescued and finds out about what you did.”

Sailor Charon says, with a snort, “Like I care what she thinks. The future is ever changing and I’ve always believed that even Sailor Scouts can alter their own destines.”

The voice replies, “It’s that kind of ‘radical thinking’ that got you into trouble.”

Sailor Charon says, with a plain tone, “I’ve always been a rebel and while I’m not loyal to the Moon Kingdom, I’m loyal to the duties of a Sailor Soldier.”

The voice replies, slyly, “Even through you go about through your own way of doing things, which I may add, are sometimes breaking the rules of being a Sailor Soldier.” The voice then says, with a deadly serious tone, “The main problem is handling of HER. She is a destructive power like none other and I’m not sure that the other Signers can give her the strength to defeat an evil that makes Chaos look like a kitten.”

Sailor Charon says, with a plain tone, “The Signers and Sailor Moon are nowhere near the strength they need to be to defeat that evil and to fight the war to come, but their full potential is far from being unleashed, my friend.”

The voice replies, “Maybe, Charon, but like you told her, by making her into one of the warriors of the Crimson Dragon, you have changed her destiny radically. There is no telling what the future will hold for her and her new comrades, Charon. And there is another danger, if she falls to darkness…”

Sailor Charon tells the voice, with a plain tone, “I know, my friend. Orochimaru might have inflicted the gravest wound on her heart which may threaten more than he could ever imagine.” Sailor Charon asks, with a sly smirk, “But what’s life without a little risk?”

The voice tells Sailor Charon, slyly, “You never changed, Charon.”

Sailor Charon just gives a nod and she thinks, with a sly smile, “Sailor Moon, don’t disappoint me now. I will be watching to see if you can handle what’s ahead of you.” Soon after, Sailor Charon teleports away as our newest Signer prepares to head off with the others to aid the ninja group that is fighting Orochimaru and Kabuto at this moment…

Tsunade: I won’t let you harm him! He is the last bond to my loved ones! I’ve decided to put my life on the line… as the Fifth Hokage!

Naruto: We’re back! And… Huh? What’s going on?

Ryu: Trudge? Mina? You are going to build a new Duel Academy here?

Leon: Sounds good. I think that people of this part of the world can experience dueling the way that we do.

Ayane: Huh? Sayer is up to his old tricks? And what are these ‘Biju cards’?

Davis: What’s going on with our ‘Marks of the Dragon’?

Ancient Fairy Dragon: This is the Duel Monsters Spirit Realm, Hinata.

Personally, I know that all of you saw this coming and I’m sorry if I made it too predictable. However, I thought that with Leo being a SIXTH Signer with the original Fifth Dragon now a sixth Signer Dragon coming out and thinking with the Dark Signers and Earthbound Immortals, if there are seven Earthbound Immortals, why not have seven Signer Dragons? And while Serena is similar to Leo and Luna in many ways, I’m not sure that Life Stream Dragon is a perfect fit, but it is a Signer Dragon, so, I thought: Why not put in a Signer that possesses two dragons instead of one? I hope that you like the little twist that I added in and there are going to be plenty more everyone! Later and best wishes, Naruto, Dueling, and Crossover Fans!
