Okay, folks, we’re back and now, there are six Signers on the scene! Anyway, I had noticed that much of my story didn’t contain that much romance in it at this point, so, I added a bit of Naruto/Hinata fluff in that chapter. I hope that it was good and I hope to figure out more romantic stuff later on, but the couplings are not finalized. I do dare say that there will be plenty of Sasuke-bashing in future chapters, but there will be no Sakura bashing at all in this story. I’ll admit that I’ve become a pro-Sakura fan and anti-Sasuke as the Naruto story goes on, but I prefer not to bash unless it ‘helps’ my plot along, everyone. Before I start this chapter, once again, I would like to give thanks and credit to Arrick Haun and this author’s story of ‘Kasumi: The Last Signer’ for the idea of Leaf Village’s Duel Academy.

Naruto 5Ds: Shinobi Signers

Chapter 18: In and Out All Over Again

Right now, we find ourselves with Kabuto facing Jiraiya, Naruto, Hinata, Haku, Shizune, and Tsunade, who is behind the rest, with Orochimaru some distance from Kabuto as they ‘face off’. Tsunade fought against Orochimaru and Kabuto in which Kabuto did most of the fighting and showed to be well versed in medical ninjutsu especially when he damaged the muscles near her airways that allow her to breathe, weakening her ability to, but Tsunade struck back with an attack that scrambled his nervous system making him unable to move correctly. However, Kabuto figured out how to work with his scrambled up nervous system and counterattacked before Tsunade could heal herself. But then a smoke bomb stops his attack and when the smoke clears, everyone, minus Tsunade, were in-between Tsunade and Kabuto. But then Naruto’s and Hinata’s ‘Marks of the Dragon’ glowed in a strange way and vanished for awhile before reappearing just a few seconds ago.

Jiraiya thinks in his mind, “What was that light show with their ‘Mark of the Dragon’ about?”

Naruto asks Hinata, “Hey, Hinata, do you feel that?”

Hinata tells Naruto, with a nod, “I do, Naruto-kun.” Just then light is seen from the sky and everyone glances towards the Arc Cradle in the sky giving off a bright glow of light before vanishing which we know signifies the end of the duel between the mysterious figure against Ayane and our newest Signer, Serena Tsukino AKA Sailor Moon.

Shizune asks, perplexed, “What was that?”

Haku says, plainly, “The end of Lady Ayane’s and Lady Serena’s duel, Shizune-sama.” Just then Tsunade charges through pushing Jiraiya aside and charges in to attack Kabuto.

Tsunade yells out, “Get out of the way! I can handle them!” Tsunade attacks Kabuto with relentless attacks and manages to push him to a corner, but he uses his kunai to slash the palm of his hand spilling his blood on Tsunade causing her to freeze up due to her fear of blood.

Kabuto says, with a sly grin, “Your jutsu has worn off! Now, I am at hundred percent! I knew that I couldn’t take two of the legendary Sannin, but now, there is one down!” Kabuto strikes Tsunade right in the cheek and sending her flying into Shizune knocking them both down to the ground.

Naruto yells out, angrily, “You rat! I knew that you were bad news the first time that we met!”

Kabuto says, with a sinister smile, “I must admit I thought that your little sensory ability would be trouble, but now, it is no problem at all. You don’t know how to use that ‘gift’ that you gained and it tells me that you will never be at Sasuke’s level. You might be the child of two legendary Leaf ninja, but you are still a pint-sized Genin even if you got promoted to Chunin recently. The power of your newly acquired Rinnegan and you able to use the fox’s chakra without the fox itself influencing you got me worried, but being with the legendary Sannin here, I can see how insignificant you are. Stay out of this or die!”

Naruto yells out, strongly, “Oh, yeah!” Naruto puts his hands into a familiar hand sign.

“Multi-Shadow Clone Jutsu!”

Naruto then creates dozens upon dozens of Shadow Clones and they immediately attack Kabuto immediately in which they focus on attacking him with his injured hand, but Kabuto manages to fight them off, dispelling them one by one, in which he uses his blood to blind a few Shadow Clones. But he then sense something and he looks to see the real Naruto up in the air with a Flare Rasengan in his right hand with his left hand hidden behind his back.

Kabuto thinks in his mind, “What’s that?!”

Naruto yells out, “If you think that I’m so weak, jerk, then why I am about to give you the beating of a life-time?!”

“Fire Style: Flare Rasengan!”

Naruto dives in, but Kabuto manages to dodge and knock the attack out of the way, causing a huge explosion, but Naruto the spins around and shows that he has another Rasengan in his left hand.

Kabuto thinks in his mind, shocked, “He had another attack in his left hand?!”

“Rasengan!”

Naruto moves to use his regular Rasengan, but Kabuto manages to bend his body in which the attack rips off a part of his clothing near his lower waist and manage to strike Naruto in the back with his right palm, hard, sending him flying forward with his Rasengan being dispelled due to the lose of concentration.

Kabuto says, with a sly grin, “Almost got me there, brat, but now…!!” However, Naruto leaps to his feet and spins around to show his Rinnegan eyes causing Kabuto to gasp in shock knowing what’s coming next.

“Shinra Tensei!”

Kabuto is then blasted by a powerful gravity force that sends him flying into a large boulder which turns into dust when his body slams into it, hard!

Shizune says, amazed, “He got him!”

Hinata thinks in her mind, with a warm smile, “I knew that you could do it, Naruto-kun.”
Jiraiya thinks in his mind, with a sly grin, “Not bad, gaki. Not bad at all, kid.” When the smoke and dust clear, Kabuto gets back to his feet with his clothes a bit torn and a bit of blood coming out of his lips with a few cuts on his body, but otherwise not seriously injured.

Naruto says, with a foxy smile, “Look who is in the ‘minor leagues’ now, jerk! It looks like I’m making the fool out of you!”

Kabuto says, annoyed, “Just keep talking, you little…”

Just then Orochimaru’s sinister laughter is heard and when everyone looks at him, Orochimaru tells Kabuto, with a sly grin, “You must admit that the boy got the drop on you, Kabuto! Something with complete access to the power of the most powerful Biju in existence and the Rinnegan along with being the child of two legendary ninja other than us, Sannin, is not to be underestimated. I must admit that he is nowhere near our level of skills and technique, but he does have much of the ‘Red Storm’ and ‘Yellow Flash’ in him, if you get my meaning Kabuto.”

Kabuto says, with a sinister sly smirk, “Understood, Orochimaru-sama.” Kabuto takes out a few pills and Shizune’s eyes narrow.

Shizune says, plainly, “Plasma pill.”

Hinata asks, curiously, “Plasma pill?”

Haku says, with a plain tone, “A pill to aid you in replenishing blood from blood loss from wounds of any type after the wounds are sealed in one form or another. A tool of medical ninja.”

Jiraiya says, with a sly smile, “He needs to replace the blood he is already lost.”

Orochimaru tells Kabuto, “We can’t have too much blood, can we Kabuto?”

Kabuto tells Orochimaru, “Orochimaru-sama, isn’t it time to take the bandages off your arms?” Orochimaru smirks evilly as he removes the bandages from his arms to revealing the snake summoning tattoo on his left arm to prepare for battle.

Jiraiya tells Shizune, “Shizune, I need you and Haku to aid Naruto against four-eyes over there! Naruto may have more power, but the two of you have more experience than he has. And I’ll take care of Orochimaru myself!”

Hinata asks, curiously, “And me, Jiraiya-sama?”

Jiraiya tells Hinata, “You have a lot of potential, Hinata, but you are not even at the level of Naruto. For your safety and Naruto’s safety, I need for you to stay back. However, Tsunade is in no condition to battle as you can see, we also need a guard that we can trust. You can’t help us in this fight, but I know that you are strong enough to keep Tsunade safe until she can get back on her feet or one of us can aid you.”

Hinata is a bit solemn knowing that Jiraiya is right, but she also knows that she will helping greatly in which she says, with a nod, “Right, Jiraiya-sama.”

Jiraiya says, with a smile, “Good girl, Hinata.” Jiraiya tells Naruto, “You heard that gaki?! You, Shizune, and Haku are going to take on four-eyes and when you’re done, you can assist me through I doubt that I need it!” Jiraiya thinks in his mind, seriously, “I hope not because even with the help of elite of the Hayabusa and Mugen Tenshin clans, I’m only at sixty percent or so and while their herbs and potions to counter Tsunade’s potion and even through Orochimaru’s arms are disabled due to whatever super-natural powered sealing jutsu Kushina used on him, I would lie to fight him at one hundred percent to be sure that I can crush him once for all.”

Naruto asks, perplexed, “Huh? No insult to Haku and Shizune over there, but I’m sure that I can handle things by myself! Why would I need help?”

Jiraiya tells Naruto, “Get it through your head, Naruto! Don’t let your rapidly growing skills and techniques get the better of you! You might have gone toe to toe with Orochimaru before, but that’s because only because he was holding back and he didn’t know you had the Rinnegan, complete access to the fox’s chakra without the fox influencing you, and you had the element of surprise, but now, Orochimaru knows better! And four-eyes over there can give Kakashi a run for his money! You might have more chakra than Orochimaru and Kabuto combined, but their level of skill each is far more than you!” Jiraiya motions for Shizune and Haku to join Naruto in which they do so immediately and Jiraiya tells Orochimaru, slyly, “So, let’s get this party started!” Soon enough, Kabuto and Jiraiya take a bit of their blood to perform a familiar jutsu.

“Summoning Jutsu!”

Kabuto and Jiraiya perform the same jutsu at the same time, but when the smoke clears, Orochimaru and Kabuto are on a huge two-headed snake while Gamakichi is on the ground in front of Jiraiya.

Gamakichi asks, slyly, “Yo, what’s up?”

Jiraiya yells out, stunned, “What? Where is your dad?”

Shizune thinks in her mind, nervously, “The drug is making it hard for Jiraiya-sama to use his chakra properly.”

Orochimaru tells Jiraiya, slyly, “Still playing the fool, I see? Through I must admit that this is one for the record books, Jiraiya. Most likely, Tsunade got to you.”

Kabuto tells Orochimaru, “Maybe she planned ahead and planned to use Jiraiya for the jutsu to revive her loved ones since it required two sacrifices, Orochimaru-sama?”

Orochimaru says, with a sly grin, “She is still ruthlessly as ever and Jiraiya, to be taken in by her. You are as much as disgrace since the day that we met.”

Naruto thinks in his mind, annoyed, “Okay, I’ve had enough of his big mouth!” Naruto then bites his finger, puts some blood on his palm, and he unleashes his Nine-Tailed Chakra Shroud in which he prepares to perform the same jutsu.

“Summoning Jutsu!”

Naruto slams his palm into the ground and this time, Gamabunta appears in his full glory with Jiraiya and Naruto on top.

Gamabunta asks, seriously, “Where am I this time?”

Jiraiya thinks in his mind, with a sigh and smile, “Nice work, Naruto.”

Naruto tells Gamabunta, “Sorry, Boss Toad, but long story short, Pervy Sage got slipped a mickie, he can’t use his chakra correctly, and I had to summon you. Can you give us a hand?”

Gamabunta gives a look around and he tells Naruto, “Fine, kid.” Gamabunta then tells Jiraiya, “Jiraiya, you and your antics are really getting me pissed off! Something tells me that Tsunade down there had something to do with what the kid said?”

Jiraiya replies, nervously, “Yeah, Gamabunta.”

Gamabunta says, annoyed, “What am I going to do with you? Alright, since I’m here, I might as well give you a hand and beside, I need a new snake skin wallet.”

Jiraiya gives a sigh of relief and he tells Naruto, “Good job, Naruto. Now, get ready to take down Kabuto with Haku and Shizune, Naruto.”

Naruto says, putting his fists together, “My pleasure, Pervy Sage! Believe it!”

Gamabunta gives a mental chuckle and he thinks, “He is really Minato’s and Kushina’s son! That’s the same name that they gave to this pervert and I enjoyed his screaming about it every time!”

Orochimaru says, with a sly smile, “So now you have to rely on your students to help you with your jutsu, Jiraiya? How pathetic. Now, let’s begin!” After Kabuto leaps to the other head, the snake charges in while Gamabunta draws his short sword. Orochimaru yells out, “Leave Jiraiya to me, Kabuto! Take care of the rest! But I want Naruto and the Hyuga girl alive!”

Kabuto says, with a grin, “That’s too bad. I wanted to test my metal against a Sannin!” Gamabunta leaps out of the way and the two heads of the snake crash into the ground causing a large explosion of dust, dirt, and debris in which we find Shizune carrying Tsunade leaping away from the explosion, but Kabuto appears in which he strikes her in the face knocking both of them to the ground.

Naruto, leaping through the air, asks, “Where is that jerk?” But then one of the snake heads come out of the dirt and seems to eat him!

Jiraiya yells out, shocked, “Naruto!”

Gamabunta tells Jiraiya, “Don’t worry, Jiraiya! He isn’t Kushina’s and Minato’s kid for nothing!”

Orochimaru’s voice booms out, “You are dealing with me, old friend!” Jiraiya and Gamabunta look to see Orochimaru on the other head and preparing to strike.

Jiraiya says, making ninja hand signs, “No problem, you snake!”

“Earth Style: Dark Swamp!”

Just then the snake is nearly swallowed, minus their heads and small parts of the body, in which Jiraiya growls in annoyance.

Gamabunta tells Jiraiya, “That bog isn’t deep enough to completely sink them, Jiraiya!”

Jiraiya tells Gamabunta, “Tell me something that I don’t know, Gamabunta, but at least, they are stuck.” Soon enough, they witness the other head of the snake explode as several hundred Naruto Shadow Clones along with the original burst out.

Naruto, covered in ‘liquids’ from the snake, lands on the ground and he says, disgusted, “Gross! I’ve had it with getting eaten by snakes!”

Hinata comes to his side and she asks, concerned, “Are you okay, Naruto-kun?”

Naruto replies, plainly, “I’m okay, Hinata-chan. Just greatly grossed out by this and getting really tired of it, you know? But wait, Hinata-chan! Where are Granny Tsunade and the others?”

Hinata replies, nervously, “I got separated from them by the attack of the snake. We need to find them. Kabuto might be attacking them as we speak.” And Hinata is right. At this moment, we find Shizune fighting with Kabuto launching multiple needles from her arm, but Kabuto avoids them and slams his glowing right hand, a technique known as a Chakra Scalpel, to injury Shizune’s internal organs and body to incapacitate her and slams it into her chest.

“Ninja Art: Poison Fog!”

However, Shizune unleashes a huge poison smoke cloud from her mouth that heads straight for Kabuto, who knows that if he breathes in the smallest whiff of the poison, he is dead.

Kabuto thinks in his mind, “One whiff of this poison and I’m a dead man!” Soon after, the poison cloud engulfs him, but when the poison cloud vanishes, Kabuto is missing. However, two glowing hands come out of the ground and grab Shizune’s ankles, but the chakra energy damages her leg tendons making her unable to move.

Shizune says, weakly, “My leg tendons.” Kabuto gives an evil look, but he then blocks some senbon from Haku.

Haku yells out, “Shizune-sama!” Haku attacks Kabuto, trying to drive him away, but Kabuto attacks with his Chakra Scalpel through Haku manages to dodge at first. However, Kabuto manages to fool Haku with a faint and he manages to score a hit cutting the tendons to Haku’s muscles in her left arm making it useless. Haku says, weakly, “My arm…” Haku starts to form hand signs with her right arm and Kabuto is surprised when he sees that.

Kabuto thinks in his mind, “Hand signs with just one hand?!”

“Water Style: Deadly Geyser Jutsu!”

Haku slams her right hand into the ground and Kabuto barely dodges the large water series of water geysers that burst out of the ground, but when he sees an opening, he launches a kunai and Haku dodges the attack in which Kabuto attacks and knocks Haku down to the ground, hard!

Back with Jiraiya and Orochimaru, the two of them are on solid ground and they are fighting it out with Orochimaru extending his neck.

“Ninja Art: Needle Jizo!”

Jiraiya then wraps himself in a large cocoon made of his own hair which hardened and become like sharpened needles, but Orochimaru impales his own foot and pulls as hard as he could and while it took some effort, Orochimaru pulls the cocoon away enough for him to bite Jiraiya’s neck.

Jiraiya says, groaning, “Darn it! The jutsu wasn’t strong enough!”

Orochimaru tells Jiraiya, “Face it, Jiraiya. While both of us are impaired, you are no match for me.” Returning to Shizune, we find her getting beaten down by Kabuto while a bit of her blood lands on Tsunade causing her eyes to widen as the memories of her lost lover and brother come back to her making her shake in fear. When Kabuto comes close and reaches out for her, she smacks him away and he frowns at her.

Kabuto says, frowning in annoyance, “What a tragedy. And I had to up most respect for you.”

Tsunade says, fearfully, “Stop! Get away from me!”

Kabuto says, with a sneer, “Please, Lady Tsunade, get a hold of yourself or you will shame the name ‘Sannin’.” Kabuto then starts to kick her in which Tsunade isn’t able to fight back due to her being paralyzed with her fear of blood caused by the loss of her loved ones.

Just then Naruto’s voice booms, “Hey, asshole! Cut it out!” Kabuto looks to see Naruto charging in with a punch in which Kabuto easily dodges and slams a punch right into his gut.

Kabuto says, with a sneer, “Did you really think that you can sneak attack me? What a fool.”

Naruto says, with a grin, “Funny, jerk. I was going to say the same thing about you.” Just then ‘Naruto’ vanishes in a puff of smoke revealing that he was a Shadow Clone surprising Kabuto in which he senses something and he looks to see Naruto and a Shadow Clone holding a larger version of the Rasengan in their hands.

Kabuto thinks in his mind, shocked, “What is that jutsu?!”

Naruto yells out, strongly, “Payback time, jerk!”

“Great Ball Rasengan!”

Kabuto tries to dodge, but Naruto and his Shadow Clone were too close and their attack hit home in which Kabuto screams out in pain and agony as the jutsu rips into his body and sends him screaming and skidding nearly twenty yards before a large explosion. Naruto breathes heavily and he collapses forward on his knees while Hinata supporting Haku.

Hinata asks Haku, “Are you okay Haku?”

Haku replies, “I’ll be fine, Lady Hinata.”

Tsunade thinks in her mind, amazed, “I can’t believe it! He actually did it!” When the smoke and dust clear, we find Kabuto, the clothing on his chest and waist completely destroyed and he is covered in burns, cuts, and other nasty wounds.

Kabuto says, weakly, “How did he… learn such a powerful… jutsu? Can’t move… even my enhanced healing… techniques… can’t heal me completely…”

Naruto says, weakly and breathing heavily, “Okay, grandma… time to pay up…” Naruto then smiles at her in which Tsunade gains an image of her brother and her lover in her mind when Naruto smiles. On the sidelines, Jiraiya and Orochimaru, on top of the snake’s head above the dark swamp, witness Naruto’s victory over Kabuto and Orochimaru sneers at this.

Jiraiya thinks in his mind, “What do you know? The brat did it! Your parents would be proud, Naruto.”

Orochimaru thinks in his mind, “That brat is much like his parents all the time and he is getting more and more powerful. When I regain my full strength, he still won’t be much of a threat, but even I know that give him time to master his dojutsu and the fox’s chakra and most likely, not even the Akatsuki can stop him and that means he will be a major pain to my plains. As much as I want to keep him alive until I can find a way to take the Crimson Dragon’s power, it is best to kill him right now!” Orochimaru then leaps down and prepares to bring his Grass Sword out of his mouth.

Jiraiya thinks, seriously, “He’s going after Naruto!” Jiraiya dives down after Orochimaru, but he uses his tongues to grab onto Jiraiya’s leg and before he can do anything, Jiraiya is slammed down to the ground, really hard, causing a small crater to form from the impact of his body while Orochimaru lands safely on the ground and charges in with his Grass Sword coming out of his mouth.

Hinata sees this and she yells out, “Naruto-kun, watch out!” However, Naruto’s latest jutsu took a lot of charka to use and he is too weak to make a gateway, but Tsunade prepares to shield Naruto with her own body. However, just when Orochimaru gets close, Kasumi appears in a swirl of cherry blossom and lands a powerful kick to Orochimaru’s chin sending him flying backs.

Orochimaru yells out, angrily, “How dare you?!”

Just then another female voice calls out, “I dare too freak!” Orochimaru turns to the source of the voice only to get slammed in the face by Rachel’s inhuman super-strength and her massive hammer sending him right near where Kabuto slammed by Naruto’s last attack.

Ninja Ryu then appear and he says, plainly, “Nice work, Rachel.”
Rachel says, with a snort and smirk, “No problem. I’ve faced Fiends tougher than this freak of nature.”

Tsunade says, lowly and shocked, “You are…”

Just then a female voice calls out, “We’re here!” Soon enough, the rest of our heroes and heroines arrive on the scene.

Davis asks, slyly, “The party is over already?”

Ninja Ayane asks Haku, “Are you all right Haku?”

Haku says, plainly, “Kabuto uses Chakra Scalpel and disabled my left arm, but I’m all right since I can use one hand to perform hand signs for jutsu.”

Hinata tells Ninja Ayane, “Lady Shizune is in bad shape, Ayane-sensei.”

Naruto says, weakly, “What kept you guys? By the way, I hear that our princess is a Signer.”

Sailor Moon looks surprised and Ayane tells her, “It is a Signer thing, Serena.” Sailor Moon removes her right glove to expose her new Dragon’s Heart Mark of the Dragon surprising the Elemental Country ninja.

Hinata asks, stunned, “Is that…?”

Ryu says, with a nod, “The Dragon’s Heart Mark of the Dragon, Hinata. To be honest, our Uncle Leo, in our parents’ battle against ZONE became the sixth Signer in a three on one duel against Aproia.”

Just then Orochimaru’s voice calls out, “So, there are SIX Signers, huh? Interesting.” Everyone looks to see Orochimaru, having blood coming out of his mouth, and his sinister smirk not wavering. Orochimaru says, with a sinister smile, “Just another reason to capture you, my dear, along with the other Signers.”

Tsunade says, stepping forward, “Not while I breathe, Orochimaru.” Many look at her and she says, with a serious glare, “You won’t harm Naruto, the Signers, or anyone else as long as I breathe. I’ve decided to put my life on the line as the Fifth Hokage and as long as I am, you won’t lay on your slimy hands on them or the Leaf Village!”

Orochimaru says, with a sneer, “As you wish, Tsunade. There is another way to restore my arms.” When Orochimaru moves his head, everyone, including Jiraiya and Shizune, who have regained their senses, see that part of his face seems to have torn like a mask revealing a younger feminine face underneath.

Rachel asks, stunned, “What the heck is wrong with his face?”

Ninja Ryu says, with a plain tone, “So, that’s it. I thought so. There is a forbidden jutsu that allows someone to transfer their essence into another person’s body and takes it over. It seems like Orochimaru has learned that jutsu. That isn’t his original body, but someone else’s body that he took over.”

Davis asks, stunned, “You’re joking, right?!”

Ninja Ayane says, shaking her head, “Ryu-sensei is right. And now, we know why he wants Sasuke Uchiha. Someone else’s spirit in another person’s body, even if it is a possession, will cause the body to degrade because it will reject Orochimaru’s spirit and he needs a new body over a period of time.”

Haku says, seriously, “So that’s why he wants Sasuke Uchiha, he will be his newest body.”

Naruto yells out, stunned, “What?!”

Orochimaru says, with a sinister sly tone, “So, you know now, huh? It doesn’t matter because there is nothing that you can do to stop me.” Soon after, he and Kabuto’s motionless form start to sink into the earth itself and he says, “When I return, I shall show you what it means to be truly immortal!”

Jiraiya exclaims, “Hold it!” However, Jiraiya winches from the pain of some broken ribs and ankle from slamming into the ground in which they watch Orochimaru sink into the ground with Kabuto and vanishes.

Veemon says, amazed, “I thought that you and I have seen and heard everything, Davis.”

Davis says, with a nod, “No joke, buddy.”

Hinata asks, shocked, “So, Orochimaru wants Sasuke’s body to possess and gain the Sharingan?”

Jiraiya limps over to the others and he says, plainly, “That’s about it. Now, I get why he put that Curse Mark on him. It is means of controlling and luring him to Orochimaru where he can prime Sasuke to be his next vessel. I knew that Orochimaru had gone low, but I never could imagine…”

Naruto says, weakly, “Well, Pervy Sage, he isn’t going to get Sasuke’s body or anybody on my watch. Believe it.” When Tsunade looks at Naruto, she can’t help to smile to see him trying to look strong even through he is drained.

Rachel asks Naruto, “Hey, kid, are you going to be okay?”

Jiraiya says, with a smile, “He is going to be just fine. He just one of his newest jutsu to beat down Orochimaru’s ‘boy toy’, but that jutsu takes a ton of energy.”

Hinata says, with a nod, “Naruto-kun was completely exhausted when he completed his training for that jutsu.”

Tsunade says, with a sigh, “Speaking of which…” Tsunade then takes off her necklace and puts it around Naruto’s neck.

Naruto and plenty of others give looks of surprise and Jiraiya tells Tsunade, “Tsunade, you could never really recognize a ‘fool’s bet’ when you saw it. When anyone, not just you, bets against our gaki here, he ends up winning every time.”

Naruto says, with a grin, “Believe it, Pervy Sage.” Naruto then collapses into a deep sleep in which Ayane manages to catch him in her arms.

Ryu asks, amazed, “That jutsu… really took it out of him.”

Ninja Ryu says, “He will need a day to recover.”

Tsunade says, with a nod, “And once we do, we’ll start our way back to the village.”

Jiraiya says, “Tsunade…”

Tsunade tells Jiraiya, with a sigh and a giggle, “Baka, you know that you can’t call me by my first name anymore. You know that you need to call me… Hokage-sama.”

Jiraiya says, with a grin, “Yeah, I know, but we can’t go by first name bases when no one else or just friends are around right.”

Tsunade says, with a sly smile, “You never change, Jiraiya.”

Kasumi says, with a plain tone, “We should all return to town. Lady Tsunade, Shizune-sama, and you, Jiraiya-sama, with Haku, have taken some nasty injuries and you need to finish recovering from Tsunade-sama’s potion.”

Jiraiya tells Kasumi, “Don’t remind me, Lady Kasumi.”

Gamabunta says, with a grin, “My job is done here and make sure that you are the one to summon me and don’t rely on Minato’s gaki to get you out of jams, Jiraiya.” Jiraiya sighs as Gamabunta dispels himself and returns to the Toad Summons home in the Elemental Countries.

Sailor Moon says, lowly, “We didn’t capture him… and that means…”

Ayane tells Sailor Moon, “Serena, we’ll get your friends back. And right now, we are also your family now. You are a Signer like us and we’re like a family.”

Sailor Moon tells Ayane, with a warm smile, “Thank you, Ayane.” Soon enough, our group prepares to head back in which Shizune uses her healing jutsu to repair the damage that Kabuto did to her ankles and lower legs to restore her ability to walk while Tsunade prepares to help out whenever she can in which a few notice that even through she has blood on her, she isn’t trembling right now.

(The following day; Back in Tanzaku Quarters)

Rejoining our group, joined by Tsunade and Shizune, we find all of them back in the restaurant/bar where our Signers group found Tsunade and Shizune eating and preparing for the trip back to the Leaf Village with our Moon Princess and newest Signer in tow.

Hinata asks, stunned, “So, you died?”

Serena replies, rubbing her head, “Don’t remind me, Hinata-san.”

Davis says, with a plain tone, “I couldn’t believe that you did that, Moon girl. It shocked and horrified all of us who were watching.”

Ayane says, with a smile, “At least everything worked out for the best.”

Hinata says, with a nod, “I’m glad that Serena-san is safe and okay.”

When Jiraiya looks at Naruto, he has an annoyed look on his face and he asks, curiously, “What’s beating you?”

Naruto tells Jiraiya, “What do you think Pervy Sage? It’s her being Hokage. A Hokage is supposed to be kind and wise, right? She may be my godmother or whatever, but I wouldn’t call her good mother material either. I mean, she can be mean and she is also greedy with a really hot temper. She might be the granddaughter of the First Hokage, but this is a really big important job. I mean you are running our whole village! And she is an elderly lady that uses jutsu to hide her age! The Old Man is honest about his age and do we want a Hokage living a lie?”

Tsunade yells out, annoyed, “Do you want to take this outside?!”

Naruto says, with a serious glare, “When the shoe fits granny, wear it!”

Tsunade calls out, annoyed, “That’s it, outside!”

There are plenty of sweatdrops and sighs in which Jiraiya, Ayane, Rachel, Davis, and Momiji think in their minds at the same time, “Here we go again!” Soon enough, we find Tsunade and Naruto facing off against each other while the rest of our group looks at him.

Serena asks, curiously, “Is he always like this?”

Ryu says, with a plain tone, “Basically Serena-san.”

Tsunade says, with a sly grin, “I may be far from the ideal of ‘perfect’, but I am Hokage. And even through I shouldn’t, all I’ll need is one finger.”

Naruto yells out, annoyed, “Not this again! Last time, I forced you to use more than your dumb finger, granny!”

Tsunade says, with a smirk, “That’s because you managed to get the drop of me since I didn’t know anything about your abilities, brat, but now, I know what you can do now and while you have far more chakra than me, my skills are far superior to a mere Chunin.”

Naruto says, with a smirk, “I may be just a Chunin now, but I’m going to be Hokage myself just like my dad especially since I send that Madara asshole packing!” Tsunade can’t help to smile at Naruto’s remark and Naruto charges in for the first attack, but Tsunade dodges his attack, gets under his fist, and flicks his headband into the air in which it looks that she is about to flick him in the forehead. Naruto thinks in his mind, nervously, “Oh no! Not again!” However, Tsunade instead kisses his forehead shocking Naruto and plenty of others.

Tsunade tells Naruto, with a smile, “You are going to be a fine man like your dad and I know that your parents would be proud of you. This time, I’m making sure that I do my best to be a good godmother. I’m not perfect, but right now, I’m all that you got, buster.”

Naruto says, nervously, “Yeah.”

Tsunade tells Naruto, with a grin while looking at Hinata, “And it looks like you have become the ladies’ man just like your dad. Planning to use the Clan Restoration Act?”

Naruto gains a wide blush and he yells out, flabbergasted, “No way, granny! Who do you think I am? That Pervy Sage?!”

Jiraiya growls at Naruto and Tsunade says, with a grin, “You are just like your parents. Your mom and dad kept calling him that name.”

Naruto asks, curiously, “Really?”

Jiraiya thinks in his mind, drolly, “Great, Tsunade! Tell the whole world why don’t you?!” Jiraiya says, with a grin, “Anyway, let’s head back to the Leaf!”

Naruto replies, nervously, “Hold up! I haven’t eaten yet!”

There are plenty of laughs when Naruto said that and Hinata thinks in her mind, with a warm smile, “Oh, Naruto-kun, you know how to bring a smile to everyone’s face.” Soon enough, after Naruto had his usual fill, our group headed back to the Leaf Village in which Tsunade looks at Naruto as he talks with his fellow five Signers.

Tsunade thinks in her mind, “Dan… Nawaki… I know that both of you can rest in peace since your dream has been taken by another and I know that he will succeed for all of us. He truly is a hero in the making and I will make sure to guide him down the right path through I think that he doesn’t need any help at all. Minato, your son has truly become what you wanted those rotten fools in the village to see him as: A true hero.”

(Deep within another realm; on the meanwhile)

Within the realm of the Duel Monsters Spirits, we find an adult male with slicked back hairstyle with grey hair in all of the right places to give him a distinguished look with black jeans and brown boots along with a Ra Yellow jacket of the Duel Academy Island of Jaden Yuki’s time in which there is an Academy Duel Disk of Jaden Yuki’s time with a dueling deck inside attached to his left wrist.

Just then a deep female voice tells him, “Bastion-kun, the time has finally arrived.” The man known as Bastion looks back to see a tall female coming towards him.

This tall female has hair is tied back in one long plait or ponytail reaching below her waist with unusual greenish-blue eyes and she is wearing a dark blue tank top, doubled buckled belt, combat pants, ankle bracelets, wrist length glove on her right hand, and brown shoes.

Bastion says, plainly, “Thank you, Tania. I can’t believe that this happened to my old friend, but I guess that there was a reason.”

Tania tells Bastion, “The worlds still need him. He is the only one that can balance the light of the Signers, the warriors of the legendary Crimson Dragon, and they are the only ones that can balance out his power, Bastion. At least, he still has his girlfriend with him.”

Bastion says, with a nod, “True, but they left their son when he was only a baby. I believe that Leon is a full adult if not already having children and grandchild himself.”

Tania says, with a smile, “You don’t look that much older, but then again, I like the grey hair, Bastion-kun. It makes you look so wise.”

Bastion gives a blush and he tells Tania, “Thank you, my dear.” Bastion says, with a plain tone, “I just hope that these duelists can really save them and bring them home.”

Tania tells Bastion, “We’ll give them what help we can, Bastion.”

Bastion says, with a nod and looking over himself, “It is just a wonder how this world I have aged far less than back at home. But it seems like your realm has an interesting effect on humans for prolonged stays.”

Tania tells Bastion, with a grin, “It could have been also our special spring, Bastion. It has kept you strong and now, you look like a strong male elder with infinite knowledge.”

Bastion tells Tania, “I’m glad for your words, my love. But remember, I am only human and there are limits of what humans can do, but than again, we can always exceed those limits and evolve.” Bastion thinks in his mind, “I just hope that these Signers have ‘evolved’ enough to save Jaden and Alexis and bring them home in order to save all worlds. This is something than logic and science can’t predict, so, like Jaden would do, all we can do is to have faith and hope.”

(A few days later; Back in the Leaf Village)

Within the Leaf Village, we find our heroes and heroines group arriving at the gates in which Izumo and Kotetsu gasp to see Tsunade and Shizune among their number.

Izumo says, amazed, “Lady Tsunade…”

Tsunade says, with a grin, “If it isn’t little Izumo and Kotetsu? Stuck with guard duty.”

Kotetsu says, with a sigh, “Yes, ma’am.”

Serena says, amazed, “So, this is your home? They have really high walls.”

Naruto says, with a grin, “Wait until you see the inside, Serena-san.”

Izumo asks, curiously, “Who is the young lady?”

Jiraiya tells Serena, “Be a dear and show them your ‘special birthmark’, Serena-san?” Serena then displays her Dragon’s Heart Mark of the Dragon and the two Chunin gasp in shock.

Ninja Ayane tells them, “We are going to discuss her with the Third Hokage who is about to retire.”

Izumo says, with a nervous nod, “Right, ma’am.”

Kotetsu tells Jiraiya, “Actually, Jiraiya-sama, Third Hokage-sama does want to speak with you, Lady Tsunade, and Namikaze-sama along with the other Signers.”

Jiraiya asks, his glare becoming serious, “Really, Kotetsu-san?”

Izumo says, with a nod, “There is something interesting going on the village while you were gone and something important as well, but Third Hokage-sama wouldn’t say.” Jiraiya nods his head as the door opens up and the group enters the Leaf Village at last, but when they enter the Leaf Village, they look to see some kind of construction work out in the distance.

Hinata asks, curiously, “What’s going on here?”

Veemon asks, looking ahead, “Looks like construction work going on?”

Tsunade says, with a plain tone, “The Old Man should know what’s going on, so, let’s see him already.”

Naruto says, with a nod, “Yeah.” Soon enough, the group heads for the Hokage Tower to meet with Third Hokage, who is about to retire from the position of Hokage for the second time.

(Sometime later; Inside of the Hokage Tower)

Within the Hokage Tower, we find Third Hokage with our group assembled together in some kind of good sized meeting room in which Third Hokage explains the Leaf Village Elders, Koharu and Homura, who have been recently fired from their positions, aren’t in the room.

Tsunade tells Third Hokage, “It’s about time that you got rid of those rotten old bats that you once called teammates, Sarutobi-sensei.”

Third Hokage says, with a plain tone, “I can understand your frustrations with them, but they are the oldest and wisest people in the village.”

Tsunade says, with a snort, “Wise my ass, Old Man.”

Third Hokage says, with a giggle, “I see that you haven’t lost that fire in you, Tsunade.” However, the Third Hokage’s expression becomes serious and he says, “Tsunade, before you become Hokage, you need to know the current situation. Jiraiya explained most of it to you including what happened with Danzo and the civilian council…”

Tsunade says, with a growl, “About time that you took care of them too. After what they did to my godson and how they lied to me like that, I should have their heads.”

Third Hokage tells Tsunade, “They won’t be getting back to power and with you as Hokage, I’m sure of it. However, there is something else that I told Jiraiya, Naruto, and the other Signers not to tell you through I believe that the newest Signer of the group doesn’t know this fact.” Third Hokage tells Serena, “Lady Serena, I am sorry for the loss of your friends by my former student’s hand. Despite what you say, I could have ended this situation years ago and you had to suffer for this old man’s mistake.”

Serena tells Third Hokage, “Sir, you didn’t tell him to go out, experiment on people, and then betray you and your home, did you?”

Third Hokage tells Serena, with a smile, “I am glad for what you are implying my dear, but I could have killed him and you wouldn’t have suffered a terrible loss like you have. You can be assured that Orochimaru will be punished one day and we will do what we can to aid you in your quest to get back your friends.” Third Hokage tells Serena, with a plain tone, “But you must know by now what kind of man my former student has become and I fear that great harm shall come on your kidnapped friends and comrades. I wish not to hurt you more than you have been hurt, but you must realize what Orochimaru can and will do to them in order to gain greater power.”

Serena says, solemnly, “I know, but I can’t lose hope. I can feel my friends and I can feel them suffering. We have a bond like the Signers have a bond through their hearts and their ‘Marks of the Dragon’.”

Third Hokage says, with a smile, “That’s good to know because one must not lose hope.”

Tsunade tells Third Hokage, with a serious tone, “What’s this about not having Jiraiya and the Signers not tell me about?”

Third Hokage replies, solemnly, “It is about Kushina.”

Tsunade asks, perplexed, “What about her? If you are talking about her death, Jiraiya revealed about Madara Uchiha and she having the fox in her before Naruto…”

Jiraiya tells Tsunade, with a sigh, “Tsunade, it isn’t that. Kushina has returned from the dead.”

Tsunade and Shizune gasp in shock and Shizune asks, stunned, “What?”

Third Hokage tells Tsunade and Shizune, “It is true, Tsunade. Kushina is back from the dead, but she is not alive. You know of the ‘Dark Signer’, do you not?”

Tsunade tells Third Hokage, “Obviously, Old Man, it is part of the Crimson Dragon and Signers legend, but what…?”

Tsunade and Shizune gasp at the meaning and Third Hokage says, with a sigh, “That’s right. Kushina Uzumaki is a Dark Signer, Tsunade.” There are gasps from Serena, Tsunade, and Shizune and Third Hokage explains about what happened around the end of the invasion including what she did to Orochimaru and her intentions as a Dark Signer.

Serena asks Naruto, stunned, “Naruto, your mother is…?”

Davis says, with a nod, “No joke, Moon girl. She appeared at the end of that snake’s attack on this place and she plans to get revenge on this whole village by slaughtering everyone as well as turning Naruto into one of them.”

Tsunade couldn’t believe what she heard, she shook her, and she yells out, “No, Old Man! I can’t! I won’t believe it! Kushina would make sure that people pay for what they did Naruto, but she…”

Jiraiya tells Tsunade, seriously, “It’s the truth, Tsunade! Naruto was there when Kushina revealed herself!” When Tsunade looks at Naruto, he lowers his head and he nods his head.

Shizune thinks in her mind, “Kushina-sama is one of Naruto’s enemies now?! No wonder he got so sensitive when Tsunade talked ‘trash’ about the position of Hokage.”

Tsunade asks, clenching her fist, “Kushina…”

Ryu tells Tsunade, “There is hope, Tsunade-sama. Kalin was once a Dark Signer himself and he turned into dust after my dad beat him, but he was revived when he defeated Rex Goodwin, the final Dark Signer and then destroyed the Netherworld King, all, but Roman Goodwin, the Dark Signer of the Spider, and Rex Goodwin were revived.”

Ayane says, with a nod, “That’s because they became Dark Signers of their own free will while the others were seduced or infused with the dark powers of the Netherworld against their will.”

Shizune asks, stunned, “Kushina-sama could be revived?”
Kalin says, with a plain tone, “If they can do what their parents and their fellow Signers did before and defeat the Earthbound Immortals and their new avatars, the new Dark Signers. Kushina isn’t a Dark Signer by choice. The Earthbound Immortals chose their hosts by a powerful will to live or a great desire for revenge and they also have a deep connection or grudge against the current Signers.”

Leon says, with a plain tone, “But what the mysterious thing is that the Earthbound Immortals made her a Dark Signers over a decade before Naruto would become a Signer and we are not sure how they knew this fact.”

Kalin says, with a plain tone, “And most likely, even through we have six Signers instead of five in this battle, the battles against this generation of Dark Signers shall be far tougher than the last.”

Davis says, drolly, “That’s encouraging, Kalin-san.”

Third Hokage says, with a plain tone, “There is also something else that all of you need to know. We found out that Danzo was in one of his bases that were in the former Uzumaki homeland.”

Tsunade calls out, angrily, “The Land of Whirlpools? He dares make a base in the sacred Uzumaki homeland?!”

Third Hokage says, plainly, “Was, Tsunade? ANBU tracking Danzo found it destroyed and before it was destroyed, it was surrounded by dark violet flames in the form of Hummingbird of the Nazca Lines.”

There are gasps of shock and Ayane asks, stunned, “The Nazca Hummingbird?”

Haku asks, curiously, “Hokage-sama, are you saying…?”

Third Hokage says, plainly and nodding his head, “We know so since the ANBU saw the same Earthbound Immortal that we saw at Kushina’s ‘display’ of her new dark powers and it was absorbing energy of some sort.”

Ryu says, plainly, “Human spirits. The Earthbound Immortals, when they are summoned, absorb the people that are trapped in the dark violet flames and aren’t dueling in a Shadow Duel. The only ways that you are not absorbed is either you are a Signer in which your ‘Mark of the Dragon’ creates a small protective field to keep you safe if you are not dueling a Dark Signer, someone within that field, or if you are not a Signer or close to one, you are dueling a Dark Signer which is only temporary protection if you lose the duel.”

Serena says, nervously, “Freaky, Ryu-san.”

Third Hokage says, with a plain tone, “Most likely, Danzo was among their number because the dark violet flames fade away along with the Earthbound Immortal, the ANBU investigated and found the body of a dead ROOT member with a duel disk.”

Jiraiya says, with a sneer, “Why I am not surprised? That old buzzard was too much of a coward to face anyone head on.”

Third Hokage says, with a plain tone, “The few survivors were those that Danzo sent out of the area before Kushina took him out.”

Tsunade says, with a smirk, “I say goodbye and good riddance. I’m sorry if this is malicious or anything, but after trying to turn Naruto into a weapon, his personal tool, and with his other crimes, he deserved what he got.”

Ayane says, with a sigh, “He won’t be gone for long. Once we defeat Naruto’s mom, those absorbed by the Earthbound Immortal will be revived.”

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “You mean that we will have to deal with him all over again? Just great.”

Ryu says, with a plain tone, “Maybe not. Those people that the Earthbound Immortal absorbs always returns to the area where they have been absorbed.”

Third Hokage replies, with a curious expression, “Interesting, Ryu. This is a fact to take into consideration.”

Naruto asks Third Hokage, “By the way, Old Man, what’s with the construction crews?”

Third Hokage says, with a smile, “Sometime after you left, we had representatives from the Fudo twins’ original home of Neo Domino City appear and we have managed to make an agreement for us to gain our own Duel Academy here.”

There are gasps of shock and Davis yells out, stunned, “No way! A Duel Academy here?!”

Third Hokage says, with a smile, “I believe that since Duel Monsters has evolved into such a ‘sport’ that it would be wise to do so. I believe that this shall be the first step of the Elemental Countries and the rest of the world coming together in peace. Also, since we have enemies that wish to use Duel Monsters to fight and terrorize the village, it is best to train very good duelists as well as ninja.”

Jiraiya says, with a grin, “Not bad, Old Man.”

Tsunade says, with a groan, “And something tells me that I’m going to have to work the paperwork on it.”

Naruto asks, curiously, “Why don’t you use Shadow Clones?” When plenty of people look at Naruto, he asks, curiously, “I was told that you gain the experiences of your clones once they dispel and that really helped my training. And if you know what your clones did, why not use it for the paperwork that you need to deal with?” Third Hokage gives himself a mental slap in the head and Tsunade and Jiraiya give smirk at this.

Tsunade thinks in her mind, “Minato, you sly dog! That’s how you did!”

Third Hokage thinks in his mind, with an annoyed tone, “Minato, you rotten fox! I should have known! You could have told me before you left this world! You had better be glad that I won’t be joining you in the Shinagami’s belly! If I was, I would be fighting you for all time for leaving me with such pain and misery!”

Naruto asks Third Hokage, “Hey, Old Man, what about you?”

Third Hokage tells Naruto, with a smile, “I shall be one of the new village elders and Tsunade’s elite advisors other than the ninja council.”

Tsunade asks, slyly, “Are you sure about that, Sarutobi-sensei?”

Third Hokage says, with a laugh, “There are plenty of years left in these bones, Tsunade!” Third Hokage tells Tsunade, “Anyway, I have already moved my stuff into storage in order to prepare for you to move in and I will start the preparations for your initiation as Hokage, Tsunade. And there is no backing out from it, Tsunade. This is tradition after all.”

Tsunade says, with a sigh, “I get it, Old Man.”

Just then they hear someone running into the room and they look to see Konohamaru, the Third Hokage’s grandson, coming into the room and he yells out, “Hey, Old Man, what are you doing moving your stuff out?”

Third Hokage tells his grandson, “I’m making room for my successor, Konohamaru.”

Konohamaru asks, stunned, “Successor?”

Third Hokage says, with a kind smile, “That’s right, my boy. No one lives forever and no one can be Hokage forever. Naruto’s dad was supposed to be my successor, but I won’t go into details since you already know. I have decided that it is time for me to pass the torch, once again, and bring in a new Hokage, the Fifth Hokage.”

Konohamaru yells out, shocked, “Fifth Hokage?”

Third Hokage points to Tsunade and he says, with a smile, “That’s right, Konohamaru. I would you to meet my student, Tsunade Senju, granddaughter of the First Hokage, one of the legendary Sannin, and now, my second successor, the Fifth Hokage of the Leaf.”

Konohamaru yells out, “She’s your successor?! No way!”

Tsunade tells Third Hokage, with a smirk, “I didn’t know that you had such brat for a grandkid, Old Man.”

Konohamaru yells out, annoyed, “Who are you calling a brat?”

Third Hokage tells Konohamaru, in a kind, but stern tone, “Konohamaru, what have told you about respecting your elders? And she will be Hokage as soon as her initiation is over, so, at least show some respect.”

Konohamaru says, with a huff, “Right, grandfather.”

Third Hokage says, with a plain tone, “Now, it will take sometime before the preparations are complete, Tsunade.”

Tsunade says, with a sigh, “Good. I need to get some tea.”

Naruto yells out, annoyed, “Hold it, Granny Tsunade! You have something important to do!”

Tsunade asks, curiously, “Really?”

Naruto exclaims, really annoyed tone, “Come on, Granny Tsunade! I’ve told you about a dozen times! Does Sasuke or Kakashi-sensei ring a few bells? We also brought you back to heal them from whatever jutsu that Itachi-baka used on them?!”

Tsunade says, with a smile, “Oh, yeah, I did forget. But don’t get your jumpsuit in a twist, Naruto. I’ll get to them right now.”

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “I’m making sure of that! Believe it!” Tsunade heads off with Naruto following behind her in which plenty of sighs comes from the others.

Rachel says, with a sly grin, “Something tells me that times in this place are going to get more interesting.”

Ayane thinks, nervously, “That’s one way of putting it, Rachel-san.”

(Inside of the Leaf Village hospital; a good time afterwards)

Within the Leaf Village hospital, we find Sakura Haruno looking down at the unconscious Sasuke Uchiha in his hospital bed and she hears footsteps in which she looks to see Tsunade and Shizune enter the room.

Tsunade asks, curiously, “May I come in?”

Sakura asks, curiously, “Who are you?” When Sakura looks at Tsunade, she thinks, “Whoever she is, she is beautiful.”

Just then Naruto runs into the room and he says, “Hey, Sakura! Don’t worry about Sasuke, he is going to be all right.”

Sakura says, amazed, “Naruto…” Tsunade notices the flowers by Sasuke’s bedside and Sakura tells Tsunade, “You must be the one that Gai-sensei told me about. If you can save Sasuke, I would be so grateful.”

Tsunade says, with a smile, “I’ll see what I can do.” Soon after, Tsunade uses her healing jutsu in which she notes the tears in Sakura’s eyes and when she is done, Sasuke opens his eyes and wakes up.

Naruto says, with a smile, “Sasuke!” Soon after, Sakura hugs Sasuke and cries on his shoulders, glad that he is okay, in which Naruto feels a pang in his heart, but not as much as he would have before in which he smiles lightly as his thoughts drift to Hinata.

Tsunade thinks in her mind, slyly, “I see, Naruto. She was your former crush before you got your current girlfriend.”

Naruto tells Tsunade, “Okay, Granny Tsunade, you are not done.” Tsunade gives an annoyed look while sighing and smiling, thinking on how much Naruto was like his mom, Kushina Uzumaki. Later on, we find him in another part of the hospital wing where we find Kakashi Hatake giving a nervous look with his one exposed eye as Tsunade glares at him.

Tsunade tells Kakashi, with a plain tone, “Disgraceful Kakashi. Taken down by two low-lives that one of your students AKA one Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze fought to a draw. I thought that you were supposed to be the best.”

Kakashi says, lowly, “Sorry to disappoint you, Lady Tsunade.”

Naruto says, with a grin, “Okay, two down and one to go!”

Might Gai, his eyes wide, comes out from behind the certain and says, in a panicky voice, “Rock Lee! He’s right next door!”

Tsunade tells Naruto, “Naruto, didn’t you have a date or something with your little girlfriend?”

Naruto says, excitedly, “Oh, yeah! I promised Hinata-chan and we meet up with her dad and agree to the… you know.” Naruto gains a blush and Tsunade giggles and smiles.

Tsunade tells Naruto, “When I become Hokage, we will finalize the details, but you and Hinata can’t marry until you are of marriage age which is eighteen.”

Naruto says, with a nervous smile, “Not in front of Kakashi-sensei!”

Kakashi thinks in his mind, slyly, “So, Naruto and the Hyuga heiress have come together? Perfect! Minato-sensei, you would be so happy for your son right now.”

Naruto yells out, excitedly, “Catch you later!” Soon after, Naruto runs out to meet with Hinata while Tsunade prepares to meet with Rock Lee not knowing what she is about see.

(Back at the Namikaze mansion; later on)

Inside of the Namikaze mansion, we find our Digidestined and their Digimon partners assembled together with Leon, Kalin, Haku, the Fudo Twins, and our Moon Princess in which we see her displaying her Dragon’s Heart Mark of the Dragon.

Mimi says, excitedly, “I can’t believe that I’m with the famous Sailor Moon herself! I just love your outfits!”

Yolei says, excitedly, “I know, Mimi! You make sailor outfits look so good!”

Serena says, nervously, “Thanks, I think.”

Tai says, with a serious tone, “I think that we should be worrying a lot more than meeting a famous super-heroine from home everyone.” When everyone looks at Tai, he says, “The ninjas know about our homes and than some. They know that we have advanced technology that are years ahead of them and who knows if they want to invade our homes to get it just to use it in their own disputes here.”

There are many gasps, but then a woman’s voice calls out, “I doubt it, Taichi-san.” When everyone looks, they see Jun and a beautiful youthful woman with brownish-red hair that’s long and flowing, brown-red eyes, and wearing a black sleeveless shirt, tight fitting grey pants, and dark blue ninja sandals with three inch heels on her feet walk up.

Davis asks the woman, “What do you mean mom?”

The woman, Davis’ mom AKA Mrs. Motomiya, replies, “You should remember my lessons to you by now, Daisuke.”

Jun tells her mom, “You know that school and Davis don’t mix.”

There are plenty of giggles and Davis says, with a snarl, “Thanks a lot, zit-face.”

Jun asks, with a snort, “What was that squirt?”

Mrs. Motomiya flares up a bit of KI and tells them, seriously, “What have I told you two?” Davis and Jun flinch nervous while the non-ninja or non-ninja trained members of the group flinch greater. Mrs. Motomiya says, getting rid of her KI, “Anyway, the people of the Elemental Countries prefer not to interfere with the outside world ever since the end of the Shogun and samurai in Japan in which the Elemental Countries ‘connection’ with Japan started to wane when the Tokugawa Shogunate came into power because since wars were gone, the need for ninja lessened through it didn’t stop until the Meiji restoration in which the knowledge of the Elemental Countries was lost until recently.”

Jun says, with a plain tone, “Even through contact with the outside was reestablished, the Elemental Countries prefer not to interfere since they know that with their advanced technology, new wars would start and spread possibly all over the world and no one wants world-wide destruction.”

Matt says, with a nod, “Good point, Jun.”

Sora says, with a nod, “I agree with that Matt.”

Kari asks Davis, “So, Davis, what are you going to do?”

Davis says, with a sigh, “Since ninja are going to be after me, mom and I decide to accelerate my training and get me ‘up to par’ with the elite ninja of the Elemental Countries.”

Tai tells Davis, “Not to be insulting, Davis, but you are going to need it. It seems like everyone wants the Crimson Dragon.”

Davis says, drolly, “Tell me about it.”

Leon asks Serena, “Serena-san, what will you do now?”

Serena says, lowly, “I will fight with the Signers as best as I could, but I have no experience against enemies of this level. I’m used to fighting evil monsters and youma, not real-life humans with super-human powers or fighting in Duel Monsters duels that can take your life.”

Ayane tells Serena, “Well, you can use chakra like Naruto, Hinata, and Davis can.”

Serena says, with a plain tone, “And so can you last time that I checked. Somehow, because your mom was a ‘Psychic Duelist’ like you are, Ayane, you and your bro can use chakra too.”

Ryu tells Serena, “I know that you don’t like to fight, but you are going to need to if you want to get your friends back. For them, you need to be strong and get even stronger. You really don’t need to become a ninja, but you may need to learn the ways of the ninja in order to survive. Sis and I are doing that, but there is no way that we are becoming ninja.”

Serena thinks in her mind, images of her friends, the Sailor Scouts, come into her mind, “Girls, you have saved me so many times and risked your lives to protect, not just because you are my guardians, but you are my friends and family. Well, this time, it is my turn to save you.” Serena says, with a nod, “You’re right, Ryu-san. I don’t like it, but I need to get stronger if I want even a chance to save my friends from someone like that Orochimaru monster.”

Mrs. Motomiya says, with a plain tone, “Maybe you can have Naruto ask about getting senseis for you, Serena-san. Since he is godson of the Fifth Hokage, I’m sure that we can get a bit of leverage even through Hokage aren’t supposed to give ‘special treatment’, but I’m sure that the ‘Signers’ can be called a bit of an exception.”

Jun says, with a nod, “Good point, mom.

Haku says, with a plain tone, “I’m sure that Lady Tsunade will do what she can even if Naruto-sama wasn’t her godson.” Haku asks the Digidestined, “So, there is going to be a new Duel Academy here in the Leaf Village?”

Izzy says, with a smile, “That’s right, Haku-san. It is going to be prodigious! The current director of Neo Domino City came here to discuss it with the Hokage.”

Ryu thinks in his mind, “Lazar was here to create a Duel Academy in the Leaf Village? What is he up to now? He isn’t a part of Yliaster anymore, but my parents and our family told Ayane and I to be wary of Lazar.”

Leon asks, curiously, “So, are any of you going to join up?”

Ken says, with a smile, “We discussed it and since all of us are going to be stuck here for the time being, we decided to become among the first students of the Leaf Village’s Duel Academy.”

Ayane says, with a smile, “That’s great, Ken-san!”

Davis asks, curiously, “How will this Duel Academy being designed?”

Izzy says, with a plain tone, “They discussed it and the Hokage managed to trade plenty of precious metal to gain a large supply of modern Duel Disks in which they are going to make classes on Duel Disks for this Duel Academy. And they decided to make a mixture of the Leaf Village ninja school combined with Neo Domino City’s Duel Academy. With the advanced satellites in orbit around Earth with new ones replacing old ones, the duel disks are easily connected to the duel disk network.”

Cody tells Kalin and Leon, “Leon-san, they also requested that you become qualifiers for Turbo Duelists around here.”

There are plenty of looks of surprise and Leon asks, stunned, “They want us to qualify Turbo Duelists?”

Ayane asks, plainly, “Why did they ask that? They didn’t have duel disks until we came along much less Duel Runners. Why ask that?”

Kalin says, with a plain tone, “For you and the other Signers when you come of age, Ayane. There aren’t any rules about operating a Duel Runner without a license here, but back at home, especially in Neo Domino City, you are going to need it.”

Ryu replies, plainly, “Good point and for all of us, we are going to need to Turbo Duel on Duel Runners, not just Duel Boards. However, we’ll need to get Naruto and Hinata started on Duel Boards for the moment.”

Serena thinks in her mind, nervously, “Turbo Dueling? Oh, man!” Serena then sweatdrops at the images of her falling off a Duel Board again and again in which her brother and a few of her friends had a little ‘friendly fun’ teasing her about it in which Serena sighs knowing that she is going to have plenty of spills and chills training to Turbo Dueling.

(Elsewhere; on the meanwhile)

Inside of a familiar lab, we find some scientists, male and female, looking at someone that looks like Alexis Rhodes, in her Duel Academy uniform and when she was 15 years of age, the age that she was starting as a first-year Duel Academy student, but she has a blank look in her eyes.

The same figure that our Signers met before with Y1 appears and he asks, “Is she ready?”

One of the scientists, a male, replies, with a nod, “She is filled the knowledge and skill of Alexis Rhodes and we have genetic modified her to have the ability to use the same energy that allows the shinobi of the Elemental Countries use their abilities to ensure her ability to survive, but unlike Y1, we have suppressed as much of Alexis Rhodes’ personality as possible to ensure maximum survival and dueling ability.”

The figure says, with a nod, “That’s good, my dear. We have managed to use the data from Professor Frank’s body and mind to create a gateway to the realm of the Duel Monsters. The core power of Exodia and the Sacred Beasts are there and we’ll need to get them for greater power. If we are to create the ultimate duelist, we are going to need some of the ultimate cards.” The figure then looks at the Alexis Rhodes in front of them which is revealed to be some kind of clone and the figure notices that her top is showing much larger breasts than even the original Alexis Rhodes had. The figure asks, curiously with a cough, “Why are her ‘assets’ beyond typical human measurements?”

Plenty of blushes came from the scientists and a female one replies, nervously, “It seems to be an aftereffect of the modifications to her body to allow her to use chakra cause this ‘alteration’ for reasons that we are still trying to figure, sir.”

The figure replies, with a plain tone, “I see, everyone. Just make sure that you figure it out before you modify the other clones through I’m not afraid to admit that I don’t mind this kind of thing happening to female clones. And I’m sorry to the females in the room, but I’m a guy after all. Anyway, as long as she can perform her mission, I don’t really care if her body is someone that should be in ‘adult facilities’.” The scientists nod their heads in agreement as they prepare to send their Alexis Rhodes clone out to the Duel Monsters’ Spirit Realm for her mission.

(Days later; Returning to the Leaf Village)

Inside of the Hokage’s office in the Leaf Village, we find Tsunade, now the Fifth Hokage, is sitting in the chair behind the desk with Shizune by the desk’s left and the former Third Hokage, now Sarutobi, one of the new elders of the Leaf Village, where we find Serena right in front of them.

Tsunade tells Serena, “We’re glad that you are here, Serena. Now, from what you have agreed to tell us, your Silver Crystal has the power to purify any form of ‘corruption’, is that right?”

Serena says, with a nod, “Yes, Tsunade-sama… I mean…”

Tsunade tells Serena, with a kind smile, “Since we are alone and I have privacy seals up, I will let it pass.” Tsunade tells Serena, “Serena, Orochimaru has something known as a Curse Seal jutsu in which he inflects someone with some kind of enzyme and possibly some of Orochimaru’s own chakra, essence, or both in which augments a person by forcibly drawing chakra from the body in which it enhances the person’s chakra abilities to inhuman levels. But we believe that use of Orochimaru’s Curse Seal corrodes the body and mind allowing Orochimaru to influence them more and we believe that’s how he will possess Sasuke Uchiha when he transfers his spirit into his body or at least tries to.”

Serena says, with a plain tone, “And you think that my purifying powers through my Silver Crystal can stop him. I’m not sure. You see, I’ve only purified negative influences from people from super-natural type stuff, nothing made by another person.” Serena says, with a scowl that’s not like her, “Through I doubt I can call that snake human at all.”

Tsunade says, with a nod, “You and me both sister.” Tsunade tells Serena, “Well, I think that you can do since the Curse Seal is an outside corrupting force and since that snake is pure evil, I’m sure that your crystal will work. However, we’re going to need to do a test to make sure, Serena. Sasuke Uchiha isn’t the only one with the Curse Seal.”

Serena asks, curiously, “He isn’t?”

Tsunade tells Serena, shaking her head, “There is Orochimaru’s former student, Anko Mitarashi. He used her as his ‘test subject’ along with nine others to the test the seal since it has a high chance of killing the user. Out of the ten that Orochimaru used to test the Curse Seal of his, Anko is the only one to survive. Because Orochimaru is well-known and hatred traitor and Anko lost him during a hunt, she is treated much like Naruto himself was. You know Naruto’s history with the village until the day he became a Signer, correct?”

Serena says, with a nod, “I do and I don’t think that it is really fair. My friend, Rei Hino, would agree with me that Naruto is only the container for the Nine-Tailed Fox, not the fox itself. Through she would also be vocal about being wrong of putting ‘monsters’ into children especially the day that they were born even if it was by his own parents.”

Tsunade says, with a sigh, “With knowing of Naruto’s life, here, I might be agreeing with your friend, Serena.” Solemn looks are on the faces of Sarutobi and Shizune and Tsunade says, with a plain tone, “However, with Naruto becoming a Signer and his heritage revealed, his life has become better especially with all of you coming into his life through there are a few complete morons in the village that refuse to acknowledge him as human much less the son of our Fourth Hokage, but they know better that their lives, in one form or another, are over the instant that they touch him. That might strike you as harsh, but when it comes to Naruto, I’m not going to fool around and people here will know soon enough.”

Serena says, with a nod, “I understand, Lady Tsunade.”

Tsunade tells Serena, “Now, back to the point, Anko was used as a test subject for Orochimaru to test the survival rate of his Curse Seal and she is the only survivors of the test which gives that seal a survival rate of one out of ten. To this very day, she hates her former sensei and that Curse Seal is a remainder of him in which he can use the Curse Seal to disband Anko since it is still linked to him in some way. She would do anything to get rid of that part of her ‘stigma’ and it might be a good chance to see if your powers can help. You are a guest here among not being a citizen and ninja, so, I can’t order you, but I ask for your help.”

Serena says, with a nod, “I will try to help any way that I can, Lady Tsunade. Orochimaru took my family and my friends from me and he is my enemy as much as yours. Anyway to impair his plans or stop him completely, I’m ready to help.”

Tsunade says, with a nod, “I understand, Serena. And thank you, Serena. We will organize a time and place to…” But then before anything else could be said or done, Serena’s Mark of the Dragon starts to glow.

Shizune asks, stunned, “What’s going on?”

Sarutobi says, amazed, “Her Mark of the Dragon…”

Serena says, looking transfixed at her Mark of the Dragon, “My Mark of the Dragon… something is calling… to me… to the Signers…”

Tsunade yells out, perplexed, “Calling?” But then the room is bathed in bright crimson light from Serena’s Mark of the Dragon forcing everyone to cover their eyes and around the same time, Ryu’s, Ayane’s, Davis’, Naruto’s, and Hinata’s Mark of the Dragon were glowing as well.

All of the said Signers in front of the construction site for the Leaf Village’s new Duel Academy with Haku, Ninja Ryu, Ninja Ayane, Kasumi, Momiji, Leon, Kalin, and the Digidestined with their Digimon and they are standing in front of Trudge and Mina, who are helping surviving the construction, and Trudge asks, perplexed, “Hey, what’s going on?”

Mina says, amazed, “Their Marks of the Dragon…!!” Just then everyone yells as they are engulf in the same crimson light in which two beam, one from the Hokage tower and one from the construction site, go into the sky and combine which create the Crimson Dragon itself and it gives a mighty cry of power and strength in which everyone in the Leaf Village sees to their amazement before the Crimson Dragon vanishes as quickly as he appeared causing the crimson light to fade as well. When everyone near that light open their eyes, they find our six Signers along with Leon, Haku, and the Digidestined with their Digimon are missing!

Trudge asks, stunned, “Huh? Where did they go?”

Kalin says, with a plain tone, “The Crimson Dragon did this. It must have some task for them.”

Mina asks, perplexed, “But why are Davis-san’s friends and their ‘Digimon’ creatures missing too? And Haku as well?”

Ninja Ryu says, “That’s only something that the Crimson Dragon can only answer, Mina-san.”

Back in the Hokage’s office, Shizune calls out, shocked, “Serena-san is gone!”

Tsunade was about to lower the privacy seals in the room and call the ANBU which Sarutobi tells her, with a kind smile, “It won’t help to call the ANBU, Tsunade. The Crimson Dragon answered to whatever call is going out for it and its warriors and most likely, the Crimson Dragon has taken them far away if not to another realm.”

Tsunade asks, seriously, “Well, what do you expect us to do?”

Sarutobi replies, “Believe in the Signers and believe in Naruto, Tsunade. They will find their way back.”

Tsunade says, with a sigh, “I hope that you are right, Old Man.” Afterwards, Tsunade lowers the privacy seals in the room as ANBU leap into the room to report sighting of the Crimson Dragon in the sky over the village in which Tsunade holds her head knowing that this is going to be a long day and a lot of paperwork, the greatest enemy of Kage, but since she knows the secret of ‘defeating’ it, her ‘headache’ isn’t that bad.

(Elsewhere within the Elemental Countries; A short time soon after)

Deep within some kind of temple complex, we find Sayer looking at a scroll containing images of the Nine-Tailed Fox, Shukaku, the One-Tailed Raccoon Yokai, and seven other ‘Tailed Beasts’ just like them.

Sayer says, with a sinister smile, “So, Maxamillion Pegasus created two more series of cards to rival the Egyptian God Cards and Sacred Beasts including cards based on the infamous ‘Tailed Beasts’, but they were so dangerous that he had them hidden away within these lands. And since one of the new Signers has one of these ‘Biju’ contained with him, these cards might give me the edge that I need.”

(Back with our Signers; on the meanwhile)

With our Signers, we find them, Leon, Haku, and the Digidestined with their Digimon partners including Davis’ partner, Veemon, are looking over a massive grassy field and noticing small fairy type Duel Monsters in the distance.

Yolei asks, confused, “Okay, can someone explain to me where we are?”

Ayane says, with a shrug, “Got me, Yolei. But the Crimson Dragon brought us here… wherever here is, Yolei.”

Just then a female voice calls out, “This is the realm of Duel Monsters, Ayane.” Everyone whips to the source of the voice to see all of the Signer Dragons, Stardust Dragon (2500/2000), Red Dragon Archfiend (3000/2000), Ancient Fairy Dragon (2100/3000), Black Rose Dragon (2400/1800), Black-Winged Dragon (2800/1600), Life Stream Dragon (2900/2400), and the newest one, Crystal Leviathan Dragon (3000/2000), looming over them.

Hinata asks, stunned, “Ancient Fairy Dragon?”

After said dragon nods her head and Davis asks, stunned, “Wait! We’re in the home of real-life Duel Monsters?”

Crystal Leviathan Dragon replies, “That’s correct, Signer Motomiya. Crimson Dragon-sama has brought you, the Signers, here on an important mission.”

Naruto asks, curiously, “What mission?”

Leon asks, curiously, “And why were the rest of us dragged here?”

Ancient Fairy Dragon replies, “We are here to rescue your parents, Leon-san. In order for life in the universe to survive, the Signers will need the dark powers of your father, Jaden Yuki, in order to win.”

Leon asks, stunned, “My dad and mom?”

Ryu tells Ancient Fairy Dragon, “Ancient Fairy Dragon, why were the Digidestined and Haku brought along? I believe that Leon was brought with us since he has a role to play to aid us to get his parents back, but why them?”

Crystal Leviathan Dragon tells Ryu, “You are as wise as your father, Ryu-san. Stardust Dragon has told me much about his previous parent before you and before I say what’s next, allow me to extend my condolences on your loss. Your parents and their fellow Signers were great warriors and they have done well in their duties as Signers. Now, to your questions, Haku has made a deep vow to protect all of the Signers and the vow was really strong within his heart in which Crimson Dragon-sama has made one of the Signers’ official guardians in which he has a great role to play in the events of the near future and far.”

Haku asks, curiously, “I do?”

Ancient Fairy Dragon tells Haku, “Joining with the current Signers has changed your destiny, Haku. You were actually meant to die by Kakashi’s hand when you went to protect Zabuza, but the instant that you met the Signers, your future was changed and you have a grand role to play. What that role is, Haku, is a mystery to us and only Crimson Dragon-sama knows Haku.”

Matt asks, seriously, “Okay, but what about us?”

Ancient Fairy Dragon says, “Despite your problems, you are ‘bonded’ to Daisuke Motomiya and thus, connected to his ‘destiny’ as a Signer, but as you know, like the other Signers before them, they have the power to alter their own ‘fate’ and future. The future is ever changing and ever altering, but the bond of the Signers and your link to them now through Signer Motomiya is a constant. You have your own role to play in future events, but with the future ever changing, only Crimson Dragon-sama knows.”

Tai says, plainly, “That’s a vague answer.”

TK tells Tai, “Do we ever get any clear answers?”

Izzy tell Tai, “That’s a good point, Tai.” Just then they hear footsteps coming closer and they look to see Regulus (1700/1000) and Sunlight Unicorn (1800/1000) appear before them.

Hinata says, with a warm smile, “Regulus! Sunlight Unicorn!”

Joe asks, nervously, “You know them?”

Regulus tells Hinata, “It is good to see you, again, Lady Hinata. And I see that the other Signers are with you and I see that you have brought guests. I, Regulus, welcome you to our world: The realm of Duel Monsters. I am a loyal warrior of Ancient Fairy Dragon, one of the guardians and rulers of our realm, and serve her and her Signer partner, Lady Hinata.”

Mimi replies, kindly through a bit nervous, “Nice to meet you.”

Regulus says, looking at the group, “I can sense that there are six Signers and the Mark of the Dragon held by Lady Luna’s brother, who proved worthy to hold the power and be a warrior of Crimson Dragon, has also been passed on. And Lady Crystal Leviathan Dragon-sama has returned to the return after aiding Crimson Dragon-sama create the seals that held those demons known as the Earthbound Immortals.”

Ayane asks said Dragon, “You helped create the seals for the Earthbound Immortals?”

Crystal Leviathan Dragon says, with a nod, “I did, Lady Ayane. I was kept out of the battle between those monsters and my dragon brother and sisters for one reason: My great mystical and healing skills. I aided Crimson Dragon-sama in the creation of the seals in which I was horrified to see at our moment of victory that Ancient Fairy Dragon was dragged down with them. Also, Life Stream Dragon was gravely injured in the final battle those millennia ago and Crimson Dragon-sama absorbed Life Stream Dragon in order to help him survive until a new vessel can be found. Black-Winged Dragon is also one of us, but he was gravely injured in the battle with the most powerful and evil of the Earthbound Immortals, Red Nova, before the legendary Signer of the Burning Force which Signer Naruto welds. Black-Winged Dragon was near death and couldn’t be revived in time for the battle with the rest of them in which Life Stream Dragon took his place in the great battle, but in the final battle, he was gravely injured and Ancient Fairy was dragged under by those demons. In your modern times, Black-Winged Dragon was revived first through Duel Monsters, but Life Stream Dragon’s spirit found his way into the machine creature known as Power Tool Dragon where he can conserve his strength until he can be reborn. The bond through Singer Leo allowed him to go through and when Leo was given the powers of a Signer, Life Stream Dragon could finally make his true rebirth through Crimson Dragon-sama’s power and the power of Signer Leo’s heart.”

Davis says, amazed, “Awesome.”

Leon asks, curiously, “Okay, but what about my parents?”
