While Kushina may be part of the Dark Signers, she has her own agenda and not even turned into an undead Dark Signer is going to take away her independent thinking through the darkness of the Earthbound Immortals corrupted her way of thinking. Chapter 25: Deadly Wings and Snake’s Nest

Right now, we find ourselves in the skies above the Leaf Village where we find Naruto, riding on Ryu’s Duel Board, in a duel against his mother, who is on a Duel Runner that Carly rode as a Dark Signer in her duel with Jack Atlas. Kushina has drawn her first card and prepares to take her turn in which Naruto struggles to keep his balance.

Naruto thinks in his mind, nervously, “Man, who thought that riding a skateboard on steroids would be so tough? Believe it!”

Kushina asks Naruto, “Having problems, my boy?”

Naruto tells Kushina, seriously, “Nope!”

Kushina says, putting one card on her duel disk, “Then let’s begin! I play Cyber Harpie in attack mode!” Soon after, Cyber Harpie (1800/1300) appears on the field in attack mode. Kushina says, putting four cards into the spell/trap slots, “And now, I end my turn with four cards face-down!”

Naruto thinks in his mind, drolly, “That’s great. Mom could have put any kind of trap card out there now!” As they duel starts off, the duel is projected on a large screen that Kushina used her Dark Signers powers to project while the people close to our blond haired Jinchuriki Signer look on through the screen of Yusei Go, Yusei Fudo’s Duel Runner.

Davis says, plainly, “Four face-downs? That’s not good.”

Ryu says, with a nod, “Any kind of trap could be put on there and with trap cards, they are most tricky.”

Naruto says, drawing a card, “My turn!” After both Naruto and Kushina gain one speed counter, Naruto says, putting one card on his duel disk, “Since you have a monster on the field and I don’t, I can Special Summon Vice Dragon in attack mode!” Just then Vice Dragon (2000/2400-1000/1200) appears on the field in attack mode and Naruto says, with a plain tone, “However, being brought this way cuts his power right in half!” Naruto says, discarding two cards before putting one card on his duel disk, “And now, I discard two cards to Special Summon Big Eater in attack mode!” Soon after, Big Eater (800/0) appears on the field in attack mode. Naruto yells out, “And now, I tune my Big Eater with Vice Dragon!” Big Eater turns into two stars that turn into two rings that surround Vice Dragon making it become transparent. When Naruto takes a Synchro Monster card from his Extra Deck, he chants out, as a column of light appears on the field, “Chilling flames engulf the entire world. Pitch-dark flower, set into bloom! Synchro Summon!” As Ayane’s ‘Mark of the Dragon’ glows, Naruto puts the Synchro Monster card on his duel disk and yells out, “Now, mom, allow me to show the strength of my friends, first, in the form of Black Rose Dragon!” Out of the column of light, Black Rose Dragon (2400/1800) appears on the field in attack mode.

Ayane thinks in her mind, “Save your mom, Naruto! And now, I’m right here with you!”

Naruto yells out, “And now, Black Rose Dragon’s ability activates! When she is successfully brought out through Synchro Summon, she goes on a rampage and blows all cards away!”

Naruto and Ayane call out in unison, “Black Rose Gale!” Black Rose Dragon unleashes its special ability in which Kushina’s Cyber Harpie and face-down cards are all destroyed before Black Rose Dragon vanishes.

Ryu says, with a smile, “Now, his mom is defenseless and Naruto has yet to Normal Summon on this turn.”

Naruto says, putting one card on his duel disk, “Next, I summon Debris Dragon in attack mode!” Just then Debris Dragon (1000/2000) appears on the field in attack mode and Naruto says, “And my little dragon can revive one monster that has five hundred attack points or less and I choose one of the cards that I sent to the grave: Tuningware!” Soon after, Tuningware (100/300) appears on the field in attack mode. Naruto says, with a serious tone, “By the way, the other card was a favorite of Ryu and his dad: Quillbolt Hedgehog! And now, my little friend can come on back since there is a Tuner on my field!” Afterwards, Quillbolt Hedgehog (800/800) appears on the field in attack mode. Naruto yells out, “And now, I tune my Debris Dragon with both Tuningware and Quillbolt!” Debris Dragon then turns into four stars that turn into four rings that surround Tuningware and Quillbolt making them become transparent and when a column of light appears on the field, Naruto takes a Synchro Monster card from his Extra Deck.

When Hinata’s Mark of the Dragon glows, she thinks, “Naruto-kun, I know you can do it!”

Naruto chants out, with a strong tone to his voice, “The holy light of protection, shine now and become eternal life! Synchro Summon!” Naruto puts the Synchro Monster card on his duel disk and he yells out, “Now, this is the strength of Hinata-chan: Ancient Fairy Dragon!” Out of the light, Ancient Fairy Dragon (2100/3000) appears on the field in attack mode. Naruto draws a card and Naruto says, putting one card on his duel disk, “Due to my Tuningware, I get one more card! Plus, since I got a Synchro Summon done, I get my Synchro Magnet in attack mode!” Soon after, Synchro Magnet (1000/600) appears on the field in attack mode. Naruto then removes Vice Dragon (2000/2400) and Tuningware (100/300) monster cards from his graveyard and Naruto says, putting the last card in his hand on his duel disk, “Finally, by removing one Light and one Dark monster from my graveyard who’s levels equal or exceed level five, I can play my level five Chaos Synchroner in attack mode!” Then Chaos Synchroner (1500/2000), a man that looks like a scientist with a lab coat that’s black on one half and white on the other half, appears on the field in attack mode. Naruto says, with a serious tone, “Next, I tune my Magnet with Synchroner!” Synchro Magnet then turns into three stars that turn into three rings that surround Synchroner making him become transparent. Naruto’s own Mark of the Dragon glows brighter as a column of light appears on the field and he takes a Synchro Monster card from his Extra Deck. Naruto chants out, “The ruler’s heartbeats will now file through here! Take witness to its creation-shaking power! Synchro Summon!” Naruto puts the Synchro Monster card on his duel disk and yells out, “And this is my ace and good buddy, Red Dragon Archfiend!” Out of the light, Red Dragon Archfiend (3000/2000) appears on the field in attack mode.

Serena says, amazed, “He destroyed all of his mom’s monsters and face-down cards and he has two monsters with over four thousand attack points! He is going to win in one turn!”

Tsunade thinks in her mind, “I hope so, but you can’t bet Kushina out yet.”

Naruto calls out, “Ancient Fairy Dragon, attack my mom directly… with Eternal Sunshine!” Naruto thinks in his mind, “Sorry, mom, but this is for the best!”

As Ancient Fairy Dragon prepares to unleash a burst of rainbow energy, Kushina discards the last card in her hand and she says, “I discard my Kuriboh to negate your attack!” Just then Kuriboh (300/200) appears on the field and shield Kushina from Ancient Fairy Dragon’s attack.

Naruto thinks in his mind, “Oh man! Now, she’ll have a chance to counterattack, but she won’t go unscathed!” Naruto calls out, “Red Dragon Archfiend, buddy, attack with Absolute Power Force!” Red Dragon Archfiend unleashes his right fiery fist right for Kushina.

However, Kushina removes a card from her graveyard and she yells out, “Now, I remove my Tornado Gardna trap card from my grave to use its effect!” Just then an image of a trap card with a Birdman creating a tornado to protect itself from other monsters appears on the field and Kushina says, with a dark grin, “Sorry, my boy, but when I remove this card when I have Wind monsters in my graveyard, I can negate a number of attacks equal to the Wind monsters in my graveyard!” Just then a whirlwind appears around Kushina and Red Dragon’s attack is negated.

Jiraiya says, with a plain tone, “I’m not surprised by this. Kushina has known to be crafty.”

Naruto says, with a sigh, “Turn end.”

Kushina says, drawing a card, “My move, Naruto!” After Kushina’s and Naruto’s speed counters go up by one, Kushina displays Greed and Sanctity Guardian (2000/2000), a level eight, Dark attribute, Fiend type monster, with a picture of a fiendish-looking banker with multiple ‘pots’ including ones found in the Pot of Greed, Pot of Avarice, etc, monster card in which she says, discarding it, “I activate the effect of my Greed and Sanctity Guardian! When this is the only card in my hand and I have nothing on my field, I can discard it to draw six new cards, but if I use his effect when my opponent has no cards, you draw six new cards too!”

As Naruto and Kushina draw six cards from their decks, Hinata asks, “Why would Kushina risk giving Naruto-kun new cards?”

Ryu says, with a plain tone, “She has a plan, Hinata.”

Ayane says, plainly, “And something tells me that it isn’t good.”

Kushina says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “Next, I play my Speed Spell-Angel Baton! Since I have two speed counters, I draw two new cards and send one monster card in my hand to the graveyard!” Kushina draws two more cards, discards one Glow-Up Bulb (100/100) monster card, and she says, discarding the top card of her deck, “Next, I discard the top card of my deck to revive the Glow-Up Bulb that I just sent to my graveyard!” Soon after, Glow-Up Bulb (100/100) appears on the field in attack mode and Kushina says, after removing her Cyber Harpie (1800/1300) and Kuriboh (300/200) monster cards, “Next, I remove my Harpie and my Kuriboh to play Dark Simorgh in attack mode!” Kushina puts one card on her duel disk and Dark Simorgh (2700/1000) appears on the field in attack mode. Just then the Dark Signer markings on her face glow with dark violet light and Kushina says, with a dark smile, “And now, it is time to unleash the creature that will bring this wretched village! I release both my Bulb and my Dark Simorgh in order to play my Earthbound Immortal Aslla Piscu in attack mode!” The two monsters with Kushina turn into orbs that merge into one and then transform into a massive egg-like structure that looks like magmata.

There are plenty of gasps and Serena asks, nervously, “Is that?”

Ayane says, with a nod, “It is Serena.” Just then a dark violet column of energy erupts from the structure and Earthbound Immortal Aslla Piscu (2500/2500) appears on the field in attack mode.

Naruto yells out, shocked, “Whoa! That’s one big bird!”

Kushina tells Naruto, with a dark smile, “A bird with a deadly beak, my boy! And the future of all of the backstabbers in this village! They shall rest in the gut of my Immortal for all time while you and I bring peace to this world by covering it in eternal darkness never to see the light of day ever!” Kushina tells Naruto, “I’m sorry, my boy, but sometimes one must give tough love. Aslla Piscu, direct attack!”

As Aslla Piscu dives in to attack, Serena asks, perplexed, “Huh? How can she attack when Naruto has monsters out on his field?”

Ryu says, with a plain tone, “As long as there is a Field Spell, Earthbound Immortals can’t be attack by monsters, can’t be affected by any of spells and trap cards from the opponent, and they can by-pass your monsters to attack you directly!”

Hinata says, horrified, “Naruto-kun!” Soon after, Naruto is slammed by Aslla Piscu and he yells out in pain as he is hit hard cracking his new helmet, causing some nasty bleeding wounds, and blood to come out of his lip as he loses 2500 life-points. Naruto starts to lose his balance and swerve around in which his right arm hits the dark violet flames in which he winches in pain as he barely manages to regain his balance.

Sakura and Ino yell out in unison, horrified, “Naruto!”

Davis yells out, shocked, “Whoa, he’s hurt!

Ryu says, with a plain tone, “That’s a Shadow Game with a Dark Signer. It isn’t just about your life-points, it is about your life!”

Tsunade thinks in her mind, worriedly, “Damn it, Naruto! Don’t die on me now!”

Sarutobi thinks in his mind, “To think that the Earthbound Immortal can warp Kushina’s mind to attack her child…”

Ayane thinks in her mind, worriedly, “Naruto…”

Naruto puts his right hand to his heart and he says, winching in pain, “Okay, that really hurt!” Naruto thinks in his mind, “This is even more intense than my duel with Marik nut! Ryu and Ayane were right! This duel is dangerous as any upper rank ninja mission because this duel is life and death! But that just means that I have to duel and fight even harder! Believe it!” But then the whole village starts to shake and Naruto asks, stunned, “What’s going on here?”

Everyone else is also perplexed and Tsunade asks, “What is this shaking?”

Jiraiya says, with a plain tone, “I don’t think that it is natural.”

Haku says, seeing something, “Look, everyone! When everyone looks, they see a sinister red light coming out from the ground outside of the Leaf Village.

Davis asks, stunned, “What is that?”

Ninja Ryu thinks in his mind, “Could it be…?”

Just then a glow comes from Naruto’s Duel Disk and his Mark of the Dragon starts to glow like the rapid blinking of a light in which Naruto thinks, while suppressing the need to groan in pain, “My Mark of the Dragon has gone wacky, but it’s telling me that there is… is… danger! It’s telling me that’s dangerous!”

Kushina says, with a dark sneer, “Red Nova, what are you doing here you rat? My son is mine!”

Naruto asks, stunned, “Wait! That’s Red Nova?”

Kushina says, with a dark plain tone, “That’s right. It has been hiding and gathering its strength in which in fact, it is stronger than ever. However, the part of its original power within Red Dragon Archfiend, it needs back to fully recover. I also believe that it wants the Kyuubi within you.”

Kyuubi yells out, strongly, “Oh no, you don’t! Gaki, you had better beat that mother of yours because I’m not some meal for some freak from the Netherworld! Or I will rip your spirit apart before the Dark Signers get it!”

Naruto replies, annoyed, “I’m not planning to lose, fox! Believe it!”

Kushina tells Naruto, with a dark smile, “I’m sorry, Naruto. But it will be over soon and then we’ll be together again.”

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “Sooner than you think because I play my Synchoner’s ability from the graveyard! When he is sent to the graveyard when he is used to bring out a Synchro Monster and when I get slammed with damage, Synchroner can bring out one Synchro Monster despite any summoning conditions as long as it is weaker than Synchro Monster that he was used as Synchro Material for! In short, I can now bring out any Synchro Monster as long as it is weaker than my Archfiend!” Naruto puts one card on his duel disk and he yells out, “And I choose Power Tool Dragon!” Soon after, Power Tool Dragon (2300/2500) appears on the field in attack mode and Naruto says, “However, the Synchro Monster loses all of its special abilities!”

Kushina says, putting two cards into the spell/trap slots, “I end my turn with two face-down cards!”

Sarutobi says, with a plain tone, “So, Red Nova has arrived to take the power that still sealed away when Naruto’s predecessor sealed it within his Signer Dragon and its ‘evolved’ form.”

Jiraiya says, with a plain tone, “It will most likely make its move if Naruto loses this duel.”

Hinata asks, nervously, “What can Naruto-kun do?”

Ayane tells Hinata, with a smile, “You’ve got to have faith in Naruto, Hinata! Believe that he can do it and he will!” Hinata looks at Ayane and she nods her head in which Hinata looks up at her boyfriend.

Naruto says, drawing a card, “It’s my move!” After his mom and himself gain one speed counter, Naruto says, putting one card on his duel disk, “Since I have a level eight Synchro Monster on my field, I can play my Creation Resonator in attack mode!” Creation Resonator (800/600) then appears on the field in attack mode and Naruto says, putting another card on his duel disk, “And now, I play my Attack Gainer in attack mode as well!” Soon after, Attack Gainer (0/0) appears on the field in attack mode and Naruto says, “And now, I tune my Power Tool Dragon with Attack Gainer!” Attack Gainer turns into one star that turns into one ring that surrounds Power Tool Dragon making it become transparent and Serena’s Mark of the Dragon then glows as a column of light appears on the field. Naruto yells out, as he holds a Synchro Monster card from his Extra Deck in his hand, “The courage and power to protect the future of the planet is a revolution! Synchro Summon!” When Naruto puts Synchro Monster card on his duel disk, he yells out, “Let’s rock, Life Stream Dragon!” Out of the light, Life Stream Dragon (2900/2400) appears on the field in attack mode.

Davis says, with a grin, “Nice!”

Serena says, with an amazed tone, “He has three Synchro Monsters on the field!”

Ryu says, with a smile, “And it is going to get better.”

Sakura asks, curiously, “What do you mean by that?”

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “Since I have less than two thousand life-points, Life Stream Dragon boosts my life-points until they are that much, mom!” Life Stream Dragon’s wings glow and Naruto’s life-points go up to 2000 points in which he thinks, “Thanks a lot, Serena.”

Kushina tells Naruto, with a dark smile, “Won’t be enough to stop my Immortal, my boy.”

Naruto says, with a grin, “But my Attack Gainer drops your Immortal’s attack points by one grand until the end of the turn since he was used in a successful Synchro, mom!” Kushina gasps as Aslla Piscu’s stats go from 2500/2500 to 1500/2500 and Naruto says, as a card comes out of his duel disk, “And next, Life Stream Dragon allows me to summon one Tuner monster from my deck, but that Tuner’s abilities are negated! And I choose Barrier Resonator!” Immediately, Barrier Resonator (300/800) appears on the field in attack mode. Naruto’s Mark of the Dragon then blazes with light and he yells out, “Okay, Red Nova, bad move on revealing yourself! You just save me the trouble of finding your ass! Time to go back where you belong! I double tune my Barrier Resonator and Creation Resonator with my Red Dragon Archfiend!” The two Tuner monsters turn into fiery rings, four in all, that surround Red Dragon Archfiend.

Kasumi asks Ninja Ryu, “Is he attempting to seal Red Nova once more?”

Ninja Ryu says, with a nod, “He is, Kasumi-chan.”

Naruto says, his Mark of the Dragon blazing, “Okay, Red Nova, time to go back!” Red Dragon Archfiend boosted by Naruto’s Burning Force power tries to suck up Red Nova, but Red Nova is resisting and is struggling to absorb Red Nova and its power.

Ayane asks, stunned, “What’s wrong?”

Ninja Ryu says, with a plain tone, “Red Nova is stronger than last time. It was absorbing the dark energy and negative emotions in the Elemental Countries to become stronger and the only one that it is after the portion of its original strength still sealed in Red Dragon Archfiend is because it is a part of its very being.”

Hinata says, “Naruto-kun needs our support.” Hinata lefts her glowing arm into the sky in which Ryu and Ayane do the same just after Hinata lifts her arm into the air.

Davis says, with a nod, “Right, Hinata-san!”

Serena tells Naruto, “We may have just met, but we’re with you, Naruto!” Davis and Serena lift their arms into the air and all six Marks of the Dragon glow in unison in which the Crimson Dragon appears behind Naruto giving off a glow of power in which the full Crimson Dragon Mark appears on Naruto’s back. Just then Red Nova and its power starts to get absorbed into Red Dragon Archfiend while Naruto’s Extra Deck reacts in which another blank card forms in Naruto’s hand.

Naruto chants out, “The Ruler and the Fiend, here and now, shall become one! A Blazing and Fiery Spirit! Lift up the very cries of Creation itself! Synchro Summon!” When Red Dragon Archfiend absorbs Red Nova completely, the blank card transforms into a new, yet, familiar Synchro Monster card and Naruto shouts out, strongly, “Burn a scar through the earth, Red Nova Dragon!” Red Dragon Archfiend becomes engulf in flames and transforms into Red Nova Dragon (3500/3000) in attack mode.

Sakura says, excitedly, “He did it!”

Hinata says, with a smile, “I knew that you could do it, Naruto-kun.”

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “Due my Red Nova Dragon’s ability, he gains five hundred attack points for every Tuner monster in the graveyard and since I have six, my Red Nova Dragon gains three grand in attack points!” Red Nova Dragon’s goes up from 3500/3000 to 6500/3000 and Naruto yells out, “Even through I can’t attack your Immortal, you don’t have any other monsters which means Red Nova Dragon can get you directly! Attack mom directly with Burning Force!” Red Nova Dragon charges in for the attack, pass Aslla Piscu, and towards Kushina.

Kushina says, pushing a button on her duel disk, “I activate my Brilliant Shrine Art trap card!” Kushina’s face-down card is revealed to be Brilliant Shrine Art continuous trap card and Kushina says, with a grin, “Now, my Immortal becomes the target for your attack!” As Red Nova Dragon shifts his attack towards Aslla Piscu, Kushina says, pushing another button on her duel disk, “Then I play my Earthbound Shroud trap card!” Kushina’s other face-down card is revealed to be a continuous trap card with a picture of Earthbound Immortal Ccapac Acu creating a barrier against attacks in which Kushina says, with a grin, “When my Immortal is made a target of an attack due to the card effect, this trap card protects my Immortal and my life-points by negating your attack!” A barrier forms in front Aslla Piscu and blocks Red Nova Dragon in which Kushina says, with a smile, “However, you get one card for every failed attack.”

Naruto draws a card and he thinks, “Cards is what I need right now.” Naruto yells out, “Life Stream Dragon! Ancient Fairy Dragon! Attack her Immortal now!” Both Life Stream Dragon and Ancient Fairy Dragon unleash their attacks, but due to Kushina’s trap card, their attacks are negated, but Naruto draws two more cards. Naruto says, putting two cards into the spell/trap slots, “I end my turn with two cards face-down.” As his turn ends, Aslla Piscu’s stats go back from 1500/2500 to their original 2500/2500 with the end of the effect of Attack Gainer’s ability.

Ryu says, with a plain tone, “Naruto’s attack may be stopped, but he might have drawn cards to turn this around.”

Shikamaru says, with a sigh, “We are going to have to hope. What a drag. Just back from that horrible mission and now, Naruto has to fight for his life again along with all of our lives.”

Kushina says, drawing a card, “It’s my turn, son!”

After Naruto’s and Kushina’s speed counters go up by one, Naruto says, discarding Effect Veiler (0/0) monster card from his hand, “And I activate my Effect Veiler’s ability, mom! During my opponent’s Main Phase, this card negates your monster’s abilities until the end of the turn! So, it means that you can’t attack me directly! And Red Nova Dragon gains five hundred more attack points since this girl is a Tuner too!” Red Nova Dragon gains 500 more attack points causing its stats to be 7000/3000!

Kushina thinks in her mind, “Clever, Naruto. However, I could go for your Ancient Fairy Dragon, but it is your lovely girlfriend’s monster. Maybe when I bring you to my side in the darkness, we can add her too. But there are also your trap cards. While my Immortal can’t be affected by them, it doesn’t mean that its attacks can be stopped by them.” Kushina says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “I’ll end my turn then, Naruto.”

Davis says, with a sigh of relief, “That was close.”

Ayane says, concerned, “I hope that Naruto knows what he is doing.”

Ino says, with a sigh, “I don’t want to be nasty to Naruto, but he usually jumps in and doesn’t plan. I’m not saying that he doesn’t plan, but he isn’t the thinking type like Shikamaru.” Ino says, looking at Shikamaru, “Through I must admit that Naruto doesn’t laze around and works hard especially when it comes to be a ninja.”

Sakura thinks in her mind, concerned, “Naruto, I already lost Sasuke. I can’t lose you too.”

Naruto says, drawing a card, “It’s my turn!” Kushina’s and Naruto’s go up by one more speed counter and Naruto says, as a card comes out of his deck, “I use Life Stream Dragon’s ability and play one Tuner monster from my deck! Let’s rock, Top Runner!” Soon after, Top Runner (1100/800) appears on the field in attack mode and Naruto says, putting one card on his duel disk, “Then I add Mad Archfiend in attack mode too!” Soon after, Mad Archfiend (1800/0) appears on the field in attack mode and Naruto says, with a serious tone, “Then I tune my Top Runner with Mad Archfiend to summon another friend of my fellow Signers!” Top Runner turns into four stars that turn into four rings that surround Mad Archfiend making him transparent before a column of light appears on the field and when Naruto takes a Synchro Monster card out of his Extra Deck, Davis’ Mark of the Dragon’ then blazes with greater crimson light.

Davis thinks in his mind, “It looks that my dragon is going to fly this time!”

Naruto then chants out, “Darkened gales, become the wings that soar from resolved hope! Synchro Summon!” Naruto puts the Synchro Monster card on his duel disk and yells out, “It’s time to spread your wings and fly, Black-Winged Dragon!” Out of the light, Black-Winged Dragon (2800/1600) appears on the field in attack mode while Red Nova Dragon goes from 7000/3000 to 7500/3000 in which Naruto says, with a serious tone, “And now, my Red Nova Dragon goes up another five hundred attack points! Now, it is time to put them to go use! Red Nova Dragon, attack her Immortal again!”

Ayane asks, perplexed, “Again?”

Hinata asks, confused, “But won’t Kushina-sama’s trap card negate his attacks like before?” Red Nova Dragon does the same attack again, but due to Kushina’s trap card, the attack is negated and Naruto draws one more card.

Naruto yells out, “Black-Winged Dragon, attack with Noble Stream!” Black-Winged Dragon attacks with its attack, but like before, Kushina’s trap cards negate the attack. Naruto then calls out, “Life Stream Dragon, Life’s Beauty Howl!” Life Stream Dragon then attacks with its attack, but like before, its attack is negated by Kushina’s trap cards. However, both times, Naruto draws more cards.

Ino asks, confused, “What is Naruto doing?”

Davis says, with a grin, “Increasing his options.”

Ryu says, with a plain tone, “His attacks are getting negated, but he gets a card for every failed attack and he could draw a game changer at any time.” When Naruto looks at his cards, his eyes widen and he gains a sly smirk causing his mom to wonder what Naruto has planned.

Naruto says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “Next, I play a Speed Spell-Tuner Booster! With this spell card, I can take one Tuner monster and remove it from play, but then my speed counters go up by one for every level that Tuner has.” Naruto says, displaying Majestic Dragon (0/0) monster card, “I remove Majestic Dragon and my speed counters increase by one!” After Naruto’s speed counters increase by one, Naruto says, putting another card into the spell/trap slots, “Next, I activate my Speed Spell-Twin Speed card! Since I have at least six or less speed counters, this spell boosts them up by double until the End Phase of this turn, but I lose all of my speed counters at the end of the turn!” Soon after, Naruto’s speed counters go up from six to max 12 speed counters that a Turbo Duelist can have in a duel. Naruto says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “Then I play my Speed Spell-Acceleration Draw! Since I really bringing on the speed, I get two more cards! Believe it!” Naruto draws two more cards, puts one card on his duel disk, and yells out, “Now, I take out your Earthbound Shroud to play Trap Eater in attack mode too!” Just then Trap Eater (1900/1600) appears on the field in attack mode and Naruto says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “Then I activate my Speed Spell-Tuner Synchro card! Since I have ten or more speed counters, this baby allows me to release one Tuner and bring out one Synchro Monster that’s double the level of the Tuner, but that Synchro Monster has no special abilities!” Naruto takes a Synchro Monster card and he yells out, putting it on his duel disk, “I release Trap Eater and play Stardust Dragon! As Ryu and his dad would say: Let’s rev it up!” Trap Eater vanishes in a column of light and Stardust Dragon (2500/2000) appears on the field in attack mode while Red Nova Dragon goes from 7500/3000 to 8000/3000 since another Tuner monster was sent to the graveyard.

Everyone was amazed and Hinata says, awe-struck, “Naruto-kun is using all of our dragons in this duel.”

Serena says, amazed, “Oh, wow. They look incredible.”

Jiraiya thinks in his mind, with a grin, “I guess that he has a bit of talent of yours after all, Minato.”

Kushina tells Naruto, “That’s a nice set of dragons, but you just attacked and I’ll be ready this turn.”

Naruto says, with a smirk, “There is no next turn mom. I’m ending this duel right now!” Kushina’s eyes widen as Naruto pushes a button on his duel disk and he yells out, “I activate my Dimension Switch trap card!” Soon after, Naruto’s face-down card is revealed to be the Dimension Switch continuous trap card and Naruto says, with a grin, “Now, I can remove one monster on my field from play and I choose Stardust Dragon!” Just then Stardust Dragon vanishes from the field into the trap card and Naruto says, with a smile, “By getting of this card, I can return him to the field, but I have bigger plans!” Naruto says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “I play my Speed Spell-Dimensional Synchro Summon! With this card, when I have max speed counters, I can use monsters removed from play to Synchro Summon as long as they Synchro Summon the right monster.”

Ryu says, with a smile, “And that’s why he removed Majestic Dragon. Not bad, Naruto.”

Just then images of Majestic Dragon (0/0), Stardust Dragon (2500/2000), and Tuningware (100/300) appear on the field and Naruto yells out, “I use my removed Majestic Dragon, Stardust Dragon, and Tuningware and send them to the graveyard to bring out the ace for this turn, thanks to Ryu!” Soon after, all six Marks of the Dragon vanish from the Signers and the full Crimson Dragon mark appears on Naruto’s back as Majestic Dragon glows and expands to envelope the other two monsters making them become transparent while a glow from Naruto’s Extra Deck sends a beam of light onto his duel disk as he chants out, “The shine of clustering stars will illuminate a new miracle! Become the path where its light shines upon! Synchro Summon!” Naruto yells outs, “Majestic Star Dragon, let’s do it!” Out of the light, Majestic Star Dragon (3800/2500) appears on the field in attack mode. Naruto then draws one card and he yells out, “By the way, the effects of monsters used in Synchro Summon also come into play and I get one more due to Tuningware! My Red Nova Dragon also gets even stronger due another Tuner in the graveyard!” Soon after, Red Nova Dragon roars as it goes up from 8000/3000 to 8500/3000 with Majestic Dragon in the graveyard.

Kushina tells Naruto, with a dark plain tone, “What’s the point of summoning him? You’ve already attacked this turn.”

Naruto says, with a grin, “His ability to negate your monsters effects until the end of the turn, mom!” Just then light comes from Majestic Star Dragon and Aslla Piscu roars out as its abilities are negated. Naruto says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “And now, I play my final Speed Spell and this baby is called Synchro Sneak Attack! Since I didn’t successfully get an attack in this turn and I have ten or more speed counters, I can attack with a monster, but one that didn’t attack this turn! And I choose my Majestic Star Dragon!”

Kushina tells Naruto, “But even if you beat my Immortal, I will still be in the game.”

Naruto says, pushing a button, “No, mom. I told you that this duel is over and my Synchro Stream is the key to my victory!” Naruto’s other face-down card is revealed to be the Synchro Stream trap card and Naruto says, “I can choose one Synchro Monster and it will gain attack points equal to another Synchro Monster in which I choose my Red Nova Dragon to boost Majestic Star Dragon!” Just then Majestic Star Dragon’s stats go up from 3800/2500 to 12,300/2500 in which Kushina gasps out in shock. Naruto yells out, with tears in his eyes, “Majestic Star Dragon, end this duel now! Star Shine Shred!” Majestic Star Dragon then charges with Red Nova Dragon using it flames to boost Majestic Star Dragon’s strength in which they cut through Aslla Piscu and Kushina yells out in extreme pain and agony as she loses 9800 life-points, ending the duel immediately.

As Kushina’s form starts to turn into dust, Kushina says, with a proud smile, “Naruto, I am so proud of you.”

Naruto yells out, concerned, “Mom!” In the aftermath, Majestic Star Dragon and the other Signer Dragons on the field create an energy field as Naruto races in and grabs his mom when she falls out of her Duel Runner in which the five dragons leave the field as it fades out into nothingness.

As the crowd starts to cheer, Tsunade yells out, angrily, “Shut up, all of you!” When the civilians look at her, they winch in fear from her harsh and killer gaze as the three Signer Dragons, Life Stream Dragon, Ancient Fairy Dragon, Black-Winged Dragon, Majestic-level Signer Dragon, Majestic Star Dragon, and one Cosmic Synchro Monster, Red Nova Dragon, use their energy field to allow Naruto to land safely on the ground in which they fade away back into their cards soon after.

Naruto puts his mom, who’s form is starting to turn into dust, and he says, weakly, “Mom, don’t leave me.”

Tsunade asks Kasumi, “Isn’t there anything we can do?”

Kasumi replies, solemnly, “Kushina Uzumaki was already dead and kept in her ‘undead’ state by the power of the Earthbound Immortals. When she lost the duel, the power is gone and she is now fading away.

As they witness Kushina’s form continue to turn into dust, Serena thinks in her mind, wishing with all her heart, “I wish… I really wish that I could help Naruto!” Just then Serena’s broach blazes with silver and golden light and her Mark of the Dragon starts to glow in which a glow comes Davis’ pocket in which he takes out a storage scroll of some kind.

Davis asks, stunned, “Hold up! This is where I’m keeping that Dragon’s Orb! What’s up with it?” Just then the Dragon’s Orb appears in Davis’ hands in which his Mark of the Dragon and the rest of the Signers’ Marks of the Dragon glow as well causing the Crimson Dragon to appear above them.

Jiraiya asks, perplexed, “What’s happening?”

Soon after, Serena’s broach opens up and she says, lowly, “I understand…” Serena holds her broach up high and she transforms into Princess Serenity in which the light of the Silver Crystal, the Dragon’s Orb, and the Crimson Dragon itself start to bath over Kushina. Princess Serenity tells Ryu, Ayane, Hinata, and Davis, “You have to wish with all of your heart to help Naruto and his mother or this won’t work!”

Hinata does so without hesitation and she thinks, “Naruto-kun and his mother didn’t get a chance to be a family. They deserve to be together! I hope to help him!” The other Signers, Davis, Ryu, and Ayane, also wish with all of their heart for Naruto to get back his mom in which the light from the Silver Crystal, Dragon’s Orb, and Crimson Dragon glow brighter in which the Dark Signer robes and markings on her completely vanish in which her body become restored and life given back to her body. After that was accomplished, the Crimson Dragon vanished, the light from the Dragon’s Orb faded, and Princess Serenity became Serena in which she collapsed onto her knees from the energy drained from her own crystal to do this restoration.

Haku goes over to Serena and asks, “Are you okay, Lady Serena?”

Serena says, breathing heavily, “Just a little tired, Haku-san.”

Tsunade goes over to Kushina, examines her, and she says, amazed, “She’s alive!”

Sarutobi says, amazed, “This is incredible!”

Sakura yells out, stunned, “It’s a miracle!”

Shikamaru says, with a sigh, “With Naruto and his fellow Signers, I’m not surprised.”

Kasumi asks Ninja Ryu, “Ryu-sama, what happened?”

Ninja Ryu says, with a plain tone, “The Crimson Dragon doesn’t normally restored lives even ones turned against their nature into Dark Signers, but it looks like the Silver Crystal might have that power. However, it would have normally cost Lady Serena her health if not her life, but the Crimson Dragon, through the power and enhanced by the power of the Dragon’s Orb, which it created, helped Serena-dono to do such a thing, but it was only because the other Signers wished for Kushina-sama to be revived.”

Naruto says, amazed, “I can’t… believe it.”

Tsunade tells Naruto, with a warm smile, “Come on, gaki. Let’s get your mom somewhere safe so she can rest.”

Naruto says, with a nod and whipping his tears away, “Yeah, Granny Tsunade.”

Tsunade says, with a moan, “You are really annoying, gaki.”

Jiraiya asks Tsunade, “Tsunade, what about Danzo? Since Naruto won, Danzo and his gang will most likely be restored, so…?”

Tsunade replies, with a smirk, “Don’t worry, Jiraiya. That’s already taken care of. Heading for training field seven and get ready to meet some ‘guests’ that are staying for a long time.”

Jiraiya gains a wide grin and he says, with a smirk, “I get you, Tsunade. I’ll need some ANBU.”
Tsunade says, with a foxy smirk, “On the way and by the way, you had better make sure to give that old asshole his justice deserts for prepare for the ‘condition’ in his right eye.”

Jiraiya says, with a wide smirk, “Already on it, Tsunade.” Soon after, Jiraiya then heads off to where Tsunade told him that he is going to be meeting some ‘guests’.

(A short time soon after; Back in the Land of Whirlpools)

Returning to the Land of Whirlpools, we find Danzo and various members of his ROOT that were with him at his base in the Land of Whirlpools looking around as they wonder what’s going on.

One ROOT member asks him, “Danzo-sama, what’s going on?”

Danzo says, with a plain tone, “It seems like we have returned. Knowing the ancient legends and knowledge of the battles of the original Signers, Kushina was defeated and thus, we have been freed from her wretched monster.”

The ROOT member asks, curiously, “What should we do now, Danzo-sama?”

Danzo says, with a plain tone, “That old fool, Sarutobi, won’t allow us much time. We need to evacuate immediately since he already knew what happened here before we were revived and most likely…” Just then a yelp is heard and Danzo and the ROOT member with him looks to see a large blue-white slug on one of his ROOT members. Danzo says, his eyes widening, “That creature…” He then feels something smiley on him and he looks down on his left foot to see another of the slugs on his left leg in which his eyes widen, but before he could say or do anything, Danzo and all of the revived ROOT members vanishes in puff of smokes like in a Summoning Jutsu.

(A brief time afterwards; Returning to the Leaf Village)

Back inside of the Leaf Village, we find ourselves in Training Ground 7 where Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura took their true Genin exam and became a team for the first time in which we find Danzo and his ROOT appearing all around the training field.

One ROOT asks, curiously, “Where are we?”

Danzo says, with a serious tone, “We are back in the Leaf Village! We need to…”

“Earth Style: Dark Swamp!”

Soon after, the majority of the training field transforms into a massive swamp that entraps them and Danzo growls knowing who was using this jutsu.

Jiraiya yells out, slyly, “Long time no see, Danzo!” Danzo and the ROOT looks to see Jiraiya and a group of ANBU on top of a group of giant toads.

Neko calls out, “Danzo Shimura, under the orders of the Fifth Hokage, you are under arrest for my crimes against the Leaf Village!”

Danzo asks, stunned, “Fifth Hokage?”

Jiraiya replies, with a grin, “That’s right, you old dog. The Old Man stepped down and now, Tsunade is on the throne just like her grandfather.” Danzo growls and Jiraiya says, taking out some scrolls, “And by the way, I’ve got something for Shisui Uchiha’s eye that you have under those bandages of yours!” Danzo gasps and then growls in which as the ROOT and Danzo attempt to get out of the jutsu, Jiraiya and the ANBU rushed in for the kill, but Danzo looks at two different members of his ROOT in which they look nod.

(Elsewhere in the Leaf Village; Sometime later)

In the hospital of the Leaf Village, we find Naruto having bandages wrapped around his head since he suffered from a nasty cut to the head where he is looking at his mother, revived from being a Dark Signer, sleeping in a hospital bed nearby with the other Signers, Digidestined, their Digimon, Haku, Sakura, Ino, Shikamaru, Tenten, Jaden, Alexis, Sherry, Kalin, Leon, and Jun assembled with Shizune, Tsunade, and Sarutobi keeping a watch over her with guards at the door.

Alexis tells Naruto, “So, this is your mother? She is so beautiful.”

Tsunade says, with a grin, “Kushina’s beauty along with her skill is quite legendary.”

Tenten says, with a smile, “I’ve always wanted to be like Kushina Uzumaki and Lady Hokage. A kunoichi that’s beautiful and powerful at the same time.”

Sherry tells Tenten, “Not to mentioned feared, mon cher?”

Naruto asks Tsunade, “So, Granny Tsunade, how is she?”

Tsunade says, with a plain tone, “She is just fine. She is completely restored. In fact, she is just as powerful and healthy as she was on the day that you were born minus you in her belly.”

Jaden tells Naruto, “This is really sweet, Naruto. You have your mom back.”

Naruto says, with a smile, “Yeah.”

Sarutobi says, with a plain tone, “There is going to be a lot needed to be explained because based on what Ryu-sama and Lady Ayane told us, Kushina will lose her memories of her time as a Dark Signer.”

Ryu says, with a plain tone, “She will remember everything to the point of her death, sir.”

Tsunade says, with a stern look at Sarutobi, “And we have a lot of explaining to do, don’t we?”

Sarutobi says, with a nod and a nervous tone, “Indeed, Tsunade.” Sarutobi thinks in his mind, “Why do I feel that this experience will leave me with more grey hairs that any paperwork before Naruto told me the secret of defeating it as well as leaving the position of Hokage?”

Sakura asks Tsunade, “Lady Tsunade, what about Danzo?”

Tsunade tells Sakura, with a grin, “That traitor is already back in the village. I had left Katsuyu there and most likely, she used her Slug Great Division to split herself to cover all of Danzo and his tools in which they are summoned back to the village where that pervert and a group of my ANBU are waiting.”

Shizune tells Tsunade, “Genius, Lady Tsunade!”

Ino asks, nervously, “Do we have to wait for those other Dark Signers to attack next?”
Ryu says, with a plain tone, “I don’t think so. Something tells me that Naruto’s mom acted on her own.”

Everyone looks at Ryu and Davis asks, curiously, “Acted on her own?”

Ryu says, with a nod, “Remember, the goal of the Dark Signers was to create a gateway between Netherworld and our world and I don’t think that’s changed. The last time, they used the Old Ener-D to create that gateway and the four Ener-D control towers were the keys to closing that gateway. Our parents didn’t make it in time, but they defeated the Netherworld ruler in the end. But even through the ruler of the Netherworld was destroyed by our family and the Crimson Dragon, something tells me the Netherworld is far from done.”

Shikamaru says, with a plain tone, “So, you are saying that there has got to be a similar set up to last time, Ryu-sama? Then Kushina attacked the village of her accord through her emotions were being corrupted by the dark powers of the Dark Signers.”

Ryu says, with a plain tone, “And that means our battle with the Dark Signers has yet to begin. We’re going to need to find this version of the ‘four stars of destiny’. Most likely, the gateway to the Netherworld is in the Elemental Countries.”

Sarutobi says, with a nod, “I believe that Ryu-sama is right.”

Ino asks, curiously, “But since Naruto defeated his mom, isn’t the Hummingbird Immortal gone?”

Ayane says, with a plain tone, “Uncle Jack defeated Aunt Carly when she was the Hummingbird Dark Signer and now, Naruto’s mom became its new ‘avatar’, Ino. Something tells me that Naruto has to face someone else close to him that will become the new Hummingbird Dark Signer.”

Naruto says, drolly, “Great.”

Hinata thinks in her mind, worriedly, “Someone else close to Naruto-kun will become a new Dark Signer for that monster?”

Kalin says, with a plain tone, “As much as I hate to say, Ayane has a point.”

Tsunade says, with a plain tone, “Until we see that happen, I think that we will leave that as a mood point and theory.”

Shizune asks Naruto, “Naruto, are you going to stay in the village for awhile? We heard from Jiraiya-sama that you are going to leave on a training trip. Since your mother has been revived, are you…?”

Naruto says, with a nod, “You bet, Shizune! I’m going to spend some time with my mom!”

Tsunade says, with a nod, “That’s good to hear, gaki. Personally, I would have knocked you in the head to make sure that you stayed.”

Sakura asks Tsunade, solemnly, “But Lady Tsunade, I don’t want to question your authority, but why did you…?”

Tsunade tells Sakura, “Despite yours and Naruto’s feelings for him as your teammate, Sasuke Uchiha is a traitor by abandoning the village and with those blasted civilians gone, I can take what I feel is right.”

Sarutobi tells Tsunade, “You are right, Tsunade. This village and the whole of the Elemental Countries have to learn that in the Leaf Village, there is no one above the law of the village’s leader and this village is not weak in any shape or form.”

Tsunade tells Naruto and Sakura, “The only one reason that I don’t give a kill on sight order is your feelings. Personally, Sakura, it is Naruto’s feelings, but Naruto considers you a good friend and teammate.”

Sakura thinks in her mind, surprised, “Naruto still considers me a friend?”

Sarutobi tells Naruto, “But remember, when you bring him back, Sasuke will be punished and punished greatly for his actions.”

Naruto tells Sarutobi, with a sigh, “I understand, Old Man.” Naruto says, with a plain tone, “However, there is something good in this. Hopefully, I can find the reason why Sasuke is the way that he is. I heard everything that happened with his clan and all, but I think that there is more to that story and it is something in Sasuke’s old home.”

Tsunade tells Naruto, “Well, like it or not, it is going to be part of your home now.”

Serena asks, curiously, “Won’t this make Sasuke Uchiha more resistant on coming back more than ever?”

Tsunade says, with a snort, “It doesn’t matter. That piece of scum is coming home either intact or in pieces. There is no in-between.”

Sakura and Naruto sigh at this and Luna leaps up into Serena’s arms and she says, “Well, I know a way to possibly to bring him home before he becomes the threat that Sailor Charon.”

When everyone looks at Luna, Tsunade says, “Luna has informed me of a location of one of Orochimaru’s bases in the Land of Rice Fields.”

There are plenty of gasps and Serena asks Luna, “Luna, you knew about this?”

Luna tells Serena, with a plain tone, “And what would you have done, Serena? Trying to figure out a way to rescue them without any plan?” Serena lowers her head because she knew in her current ‘condition’, she might have rushed off to save her friends since she lost her beloved and family.

Sakura asks Tsunade, “Lady Tsunade, can we…?”

Tsunade says, with a plain tone, “This is really against my feelings, but you and Naruto can go with Jiraiya.”

Serena says, with a serious tone, “Lady Tsunade, I need to go too!” When everyone looks at Serena, she says, pleadingly, “My friends could be there and I couldn’t do anything for them before! I’ve… I’ve got to…”

As tears from Serena’s eyes, Haku tells Tsunade, “Lady Hokage, I believe that I shall be sufficient to guard Lady Serena on this mission?”

Tsunade thinks in her mind, with a groan, “I must be going senile… not that I would admit to anyone especially that gaki!” Soon enough, everyone hears the window open and they look to see Jiraiya entering the room with a bit of a cut lip.

Jiraiya says, with a plain tone, “Bad news, everyone. Despite who perfectly the trap went, Danzo managed to sliver away.”

There are gasps in shock and Sarutobi says, with a plain tone, “I am not surprised, Jiraiya. Danzo is not just a man of politics, he is an ex-ANBU level ninja.”

Shikamaru asks, stunned, “This guy is ex-ANBU?”

Tsunade says, with a plain tone, “Maybe even Kage level. That’s how he could develop such a program like ROOT.”

Jiraiya says, with a plain tone, “Doesn’t have much of that anymore. He got away with five to six of them and at least two of them are disabled. I sealed off Danzo’s eye that he got from Shisui Uchiha and Shisui’s right arm that contains those cells from your grandpa and ten other Sharingans are sealed up tighter. He can’t unlock his right arm unless he figures out a way to remove those seals in which they have anti-examination formulas in them. However, he had a Yamanaka and Aburame in his group.”

Ino asks, stunned, “A member of my clan was part of that traitor’s group?”

Sarutobi asks, curiously, “Are you sure, Jiraiya?”

Jiraiya says, with a nod, “Yep. He used a puppet to transfer his mind into and trap his victim in the puppet while taking over their body. A good technique in which allows him to have complete control of his victim’s body since their mind is trapped in the puppet, I might say. And the Aburame used nano-sized poisonous bugs that infect you with a mere touch.”

Sarutobi says, plainly, “I know of him. He is the son of Shikuro Aburame since he has the same organisms inside of him and thus, he contains the antidote.”

Jiraiya tells Sarutobi, “If you are going to tell him, tell him I’m sorry but I had to take out his hands because of that. I also used a sealing jutsu on the Yamanaka. Inoichi helped Minato and I in develop it just in case a member of the clan lost control of their powers or… you get the idea.”

Tsunade asks, plainly, “The rest are dead?”

Jiraiya says, with a plain tone, “Or they are with Anko and Ibiki, but like that Sai guy, they have seals on their tongues that will paralyze them if they try to talk about stuff that Danzo doesn’t want them spilling out.”

Tsunade tells Jiraiya, with a sigh, “Fine, Jiraiya. You can work on them when you get back, but right now, you have a mission to do.”

Jiraiya asks, curiously, “Mission?”

Tsunade tells Jiraiya, “Into the lair of the snake, Jiraiya.” Jiraiya’s eyes widen knowing that Tsunade means for him immediately through he doesn’t know fully what this mission entails.

(Some distance from the Leaf Village; A good time afterwards)

Right now, we find Danzo with around six of his ROOT member assembled around him as two of them look over the seals around his right eye and what looks like some kind of metal container covering his right arm and hand. Another ROOT is looking over another that’s wearing all black with a mask with strange glasses on them that covers all of this ROOT’s face minus his nose and lips in which he looks over the stumps of his arms that once had his hands.

Danzo asks, plainly, “How is Torune?”

The ROOT looking over his ‘comrade’ with the mask says, with a plain tone, “His hands are completely gone.”

The ROOT with the mask that has the strange glasses on them tells Danzo, “Forgive me, Danzo-sama.”

Danzo tells him, “You should have been more careful, Torune. Fighting against one of the Sannin is no joke even for us.”

A ROOT with auburn hair and yellow eyes tells him, “Danzo-sama, Jiraiya of the Sannin put a special seal on me developed by him and the Fourth Hokage with aid by Inoichi-sama for Yamanaka that have gone rogue or have trouble with their mind jutsu abilities.”

Danzo says, with a plain tone, “I know, but you have other skills. Use them, Fu.”

The ROOT replies, with a nod, “Of course, Danzo-sama.”

The ROOT looking over Danzo shake their heads and one of them says, “I’m sorry, Danzo-sama, but we can’t remove the sealing jutsu on you. They also have anti-examination formulas on them. They are too complex.”

Danzo says, with a plain tone, “Not surprising since this is the man that helped teach the Fourth Hokage sealing jutsu along with the Uzumaki themselves.” Danzo thinks in his mind, “Damn you, Sarutobi, you used this chance to put Tsunade into play and making assured that I would never get back into power much less become Hokage! With Tsunade in charge, the village shall fall and you shall be responsible! I will find a way to make sure that doesn’t happen, you old fool!”

Fu tells Danzo, “Danzo-sama, what shall we do? There are only the rest of us left. The rest of us have been captured or killed.”

Danzo says, with a plain tone, “Noted, Fu. And we can’t stay here since Tsunade will presume me until I am captured or dead. She wants me captured to turn me into a villain and make me die in disgrace as such, but I will not her slander my work and turn me into her scapegoat for what has happened to the Leaf Village. We need to move now.” But then all of them turn behind Danzo and they see a large dark-skinned male with black mustache and beard with muscular arms, but fat chested in which he is wearing clothing like he works a prison facility.

The man says, with a grin, “Well, look at who we have here.”

A ROOT says, with a plain tone, “Who are you? Identify or die.”

The man replies, “The name is Armstrong and I’m not from here. I’m from what you call the ‘outside world’.”

Fu says, plainly, “I believe that he is right. He has no chakra and his clothes…”

Danzo replies, plainly and interrupting, “I can see, Fu.” Danzo asks Armstrong, “What are you doing here?”

Armstrong says, with a grin, “Here to cause a prison break at the Leaf Village prison. Orders from my new boss since some rotten backstabber that I worked faithfully for kicked me out of my job over ten years ago! I’m also hoping to get some payback from two kids of a former ‘guest’ of my former job.”

Danzo asks, curiously, “Who are these children? And what was your former job?”

Armstrong replies, “I was the chief of the facility, the top prison of Neo Domino City. That is until I was fried over ten years ago due that backstabbing Rex Goodwin gave me the boot when that rotten Yusei Fudo made me look like a fool.”

Danzo says, with a nod, “I see, my friend. You wish for revenge against the children of Yusei Fudo.”

Armstrong says, with a nod, “Since he is dead as a doornail, I’ll take out my anger on his two little snots. My new employer wants me to break so low-level guy named Mizuki, but he said that if I ran into you, he asked me to say that he would like to give you an offer.”

Danzo asks, curiously, “An offer?”

Armstrong says, taking out a piece of paper, “He said that you ninja guys would figure it out and that’s it for me.” Armstrong then gets inside of a Sector Security van used for tag-team Turbo Duels and drives off into the distance.

Torune asks Danzo, “Was it wise to let him go, Danzo-sama?”

Danzo replies, “That man shall prove the weakness of that old fool and Tsunade and his employer is the one of interest to me. We shall meet him. Right now, we are in need of sanctuary and I believe that this person can provide it. Torune, once we stop the bleeding of yours arms, we shall move.”

Torune replies, with a nod, “Yes, Danzo-sama.” As Torune aids his fellow ROOT to stop the bleeding from the stumps that he once had hands in without getting inflected with his bugs, Danzo looks at the paper in front of him which looks to be blank, but someone like Danzo, like any ninja, knows to look ‘beyond what they see’.”

(One day later; within the Land of Rice Fields)

In the Land of Rice Fields, we find Jiraiya, Naruto, Sakura, Serena, and Haku with backpacks on their backs walking down a dirt path in the Land of Rice Fields.

Serena asks, curiously, “So, this is where Orochimaru is based?”

Sakura says, plainly, “It looks so peaceful.”

Jiraiya says, with a plain tone, “It may not seem that Orochimaru is here, but he is under the surface. The ruler of this land was not satisfied with what he had and he wanted more and more. Orochimaru got wind of this and whispered sweet promises to his ear in which he didn’t intend to make him stronger, but himself to fulfill his ambitions.”

Just then Luna comes out of Serena’s backpack and she says, “There is a town up ahead, but it looks abandoned.”

Haku says, with a plain tone, “Sounds like a good place to start.”

Naruto tells Jiraiya, “By the way, Pervy Sage, Granny Tsunade told if you went into your ‘pervy act’, I’m to let her know and Serena is to make sure that you don’t. And you don’t get a cent of my money for any of it, Pervy Sage!”

Jiraiya tells Naruto, with a nervous grin, “Now, you would go do that would you?”

Naruto tells Jiraiya, with a foxy grin, “Want to bet, Pervy Sage?”

Jiraiya replies, nervously, “I rather not.” Jiraiya thinks in his mind, “Rotten brat, but since Kushina is going to be up and about soon, I had better not unless I want face Tsunade AND her.” Soon after, anime images of Tsunade and Kushina with flames surrounding with their fists with Kushina having a sword ready to chop him to pieces comes to Jiraiya’s mind in which he swallows plenty of air as they move along. Soon enough, they come to what looks like an abandoned town.

Naruto says, plainly, “It looks like a town all right, but it looks abandoned like Luna said.”

Jiraiya says, with a grin, “That’s what you think, brat. I smell perfume and a lot of it.”

Serena thinks in her mind, drolly, “Is this guy for real?”

Naruto tells Jiraiya, “Okay, Pervy Sage, if you are going to buy information… use your own darn money or my mom gets to hear about it when we get back if she’s awake, Pervy Sage!”

Jiraiya says, nervously, “Come on, Naruto. This is for the…” But when Naruto points inside of the town, Jiraiya grumbles about ‘rotten gaki’ and ‘Kushina’s brat’ and stuff in which he takes a deep breath and marches into the town looking like a bit of a fool.

Sometime later, we find them waiting just outside of town and Sakura asks Naruto, “Weren’t you being a bit harsh, Naruto?”

Naruto tells Sakura, “Sakura, don’t defend the Pervy Sage! He didn’t want the money for information! He just went in there for a good time!”

Sakura asks, curiously, “A good time?”

Serena says, with a sigh, “Does ‘NC-17’ mean anything to you, Sakura-san? Believe me, Naruto has a point of his dad’s teacher. I mean, he was the one who creates those ‘Make Out’ porn books! I believe that your first teacher reads those things.”

Sakura thinks about, he then remembers the book that she has seen Kakashi read, and she yells out, shocked, “No way! You mean he writes that stuff that I’ve seen in Kakashi-sensei’s hands which I know to be adult! This guy writes THAT?”

Naruto and Serena yell out in unison, “Believe it!” Naruto and Serena look at each other in surprise and Sakura gives a mental slap to the head.

Sakura thinks in her mind, “Now, I’m starting to believe what Naruto says about Jiraiya-sama. And he is supposed to be one of the legendary Sannin?”

Inner Sakura yells out, “He is just a big dirty pervert! Cha! I’m willing to bet that he is trying to turn Naruto into a pervert too! Cha!”

Just then Naruto and Haku ‘sense’ something and they look behind them in which Serena asks, curiously, “What’s wrong, Naruto? Haku?”

Haku tackles Serena to the ground and she yells out, “Get down, Lady Serena!”

Naruto yells out, leaping at the same time, “Look out, Sakura!” Soon after, four kunai land on the statue that Naruto was sitting on in which he throws two kunai into the bushes causing a figure a dark blue ski mask over this figure’s face only showing the figure’s brown eyes, grey sleeveless vest, dark green shorts, and brown sandals appears.

Haku says, taking out some senbon, “Stay down, Lady Serena!” She launches the senbon at the figure in which she barely manages to dodge expect for the one that rips into her right shoulder cutting her since winches in pain.

Naruto asks, seriously, “Who are you? One of Orochimaru’s thugs?” The figure’s eyes grow wide from those questions and the figures uses a massive smoke bomb to cover an escape. Naruto yells out, “He’s getting away!”

Haku tells Naruto, with a plain tone, “Don’t take another set, Naruto-sama?”

Naruto asks, perplexed, “Why?”

Sakura tells Naruto, “Look at your feet!” When Naruto looks down, he yelps to see makibishi, small spikes used to force ninja to go into a certain direction in which they would injure their feet if one steps on them.

Haku helps Serena to her feet and Haku asks Serena, “Are you okay, Lady Serena?”

Serena replies, with a nod, “I’m fine, but warn me next time okay?” As they start to recover from the attack, what looks like a dust zooms by causing the makibishi by flowing into the woods on either side of the dirt path. Just then the ‘dust cloud’ fades away to see none other than Jiraiya in front of them.

Naruto asks, stunned, “What’s going on now?”

Jiraiya replies, with a panic-like tone, “This is no time to talk, we need to go gaki!” When he points behind them, they look to see a group of armed thugs running up towards them.

Serena yelps as she runs off in which Haku follows behind in which Naruto yells out, “What did you do this time, Pervy Sage?”

Jiraiya tells Naruto, “Just grab the bags and run! This is a ‘secret mission’ after all!”

Naruto runs to get the backs and he yells out, as Sakura runs off ahead of him, “Get job of keeping our mission secret, Pervy Sage!” Soon enough, our group is racing off with the group of armed thugs behind them.

(Returning to the Leaf Village; on the meanwhile)

Back in the Leaf Village, we find Shizune keeping an eye on the still sleeping Kushina as Sarutobi and Tsunade enter the room.

Tsunade asks Shizune, “How is she Shizune?”

Shizune tells Tsunade, with a plain tone, “She is okay. Her vitals and such are perfect. She is just as healthy as she was on… you know through she doesn’t have Naruto within her anymore…” Just then Kushina starts to moan and toss around.

Kushina moans out, “Naruto… my baby…” Just then Kushina gasps as she wakes up in the cold sweat in which Tsunade and Sarutobi run over to her.

Tsunade tells Kushina, “It’s okay, Kushina. You’re safe.”

Kushina asks, “Tsunade-sensei? Old Man?”

Sarutobi sweatdrops and he thinks, with a nervous smile, “Naruto, you truly take after your mother… unfortunately.”

Kushina asks, perplexed, “Where am I?” Kushina then says, in a panic, “Oh no! Minato-kun! Naruto!”

Tsunade tells Kushina, “Easy, Kushina. You are in the hospital.”

Kushina asks, perplexed, “The hospital? How did…?”

Tsunade tells Kushina, “It is… a long story. I can tell you that Naruto is all right.”

Kushina asks Tsunade, “Minato-kun?”

Sarutobi tells Kushina, with a sigh, “Kushina, Minato is dead. He has been for thirteen years and so have you.”

Kushina’s eyes widen and she asks, stunned, “Thirteen years?”

Tsunade says, with a nod, “It’s true, Kushina. You and Minato have been dead for thirteen years and you have been recently revived and restored through ways that I’m sure that you don’t remember.”

Sarutobi asks Kushina, “And before you say anything, do we look like we are joking, Kushina?”

When Kushina looks at them in the eye, she knows that they are not ‘joking’ with her and she asks, “How was I? What about Naruto?”

Tsunade, Shizune, and Sarutobi looks at each other nervous and Tsunade tells Kushina, “Kushina, you are going to need to sit in the bed and stay calm.” As Tsunade and Sarutobi begin to explain, Shizune makes a motion for the ANBU to enter the room in which she plans to get none other than Kakashi in the hopes of calming her down because of what she will obviously do when she hears about her son’s life so far.

(Later on; In the Land of Rice Fields)

Right now, we find Jiraiya, Sakura, Naruto, Serena, Luna, and Haku assembled looking at a map of the Land of Rice Fields.

Just then a loud female voice booms out, “WHAT?!”

The whole room seems to shake and Jiraiya thinks in his mind, nervously, “I think Kushina is up and the Old Man and Tsunade told them about Naruto’s life thus far. Oh, boy. If they don’t contain Kushina, this will cause far worse damage than the Kyuubi’s attack and Orochimaru’s invasion combined!”

Sakura asks, stunned, “What was that?”

Jiraiya says, with a plain tone, “That would Naruto’s mom waking up and learning what happened to her kid. Be prepared for a village devastated far worse than ever before.”

Serena asks, nervously, “Why do you say that?”

Jiraiya tells Serena, “Lady Serena, Kushina is not known as the ‘Red Storm’ for nothing. She had ‘flee on sight’ order from many an enemy village just like her husband and combine that with the wrath of angry mother.”

Sakura asks, nervously, “Kushina-sama can’t be that bad?”

Jiraiya says, pointing to Naruto, “You know how hot-headed this gaki can get? His mom is where he gets his personality from!”

Naruto asks, annoyed, “What’s that supposed to mean Pervy Sage?”

Jiraiya tells Naruto, “Don’t give me that Naruto! You know that it is true!”

Sakura thinks in her mind, nervously, “Oh boy! Now, I get what Jiraiya-sama means!”

Inner Sakura thinks in her mind, fearfully, “No joke! What if she decides to come after us for what we did to Naruto? Our bacon is so cooked! Cha!”

Jiraiya says, with a sigh, “Hopefully, Tsunade and the Old Man can keep her calm until we get back and more reason to get you back safe, Naruto.”

Sakura asks, nervously, “Hopefully?”

Jiraiya says, with a grin, “Anyway, once we get down here, we’ll be the most bustling outpost in the whole Land of Rice Fields.”

Naruto tells Jiraiya, with a groan, “Oh, brother! This is just you doing your thing for the sake of your research!”

Sakura tells Jiraiya, “Jiraiya-sama, I think that Naruto has a point. Enough is enough.”

Jiraiya tells Naruto and Sakura, with a plain tone, “I don’t like it as much as you do, but if we are to find the Sound Village and the bases that Serena’s feline friend spoke of, we need to gather more information.”

Naruto and Serena think in their minds, drolly, “Yeah, right!”

Naruto thinks in his mind, “Why do I have a bad feeling that my mom isn’t going to be as forgiving like I was?”

(Within the Leaf Village; around the same time)

If Naruto knew what was happening in the Leaf Village right now, he would know that’s a major understatement in which we find Tsunade, Shizune, Sarutobi, and a group of ANBU staying back from Kushina, who has a familiar red chakra cloak surrounding her body in which the cloak at the tailbone area is formed into a fox-like tail.

Shizune asks, stunned, “My lady, what’s going on here?”

Tsunade asks, perplexed, “You are asking me, Shizune?”

Sarutobi says, with a plain tone, “I believe I know. Kushina was the container of the Nine-Tailed Fox before Naruto and even through Madara removed the Kyuubi from her, traces of its chakra were bound to Kushina due to her own special chakra. Kushina had a special chakra that could contain the fox which was why she was chosen among her whole clan to take over from her predecessor.”

Tsunade asks, perplexed, “Shouldn’t that chakra left her when she died?”

Sarutobi says, with a plain tone, “She was revived as a Dark Signer just after she died, so, it is possible that the chakra did remain, but became intermixed with her corrupted energies and the energy from the Netherworld since the chakra of the Biju is partially connected to that sinister power. This is only a theory, but when she was revived, she was restored at the moment that she died including with the fox’s chakra that she had left inside of her. And most likely, due to the wish that Lady Serena put in her special charka was to revive Kushina and not purify her, I think this is why the fox’s chakra that was left inside of her didn’t vanish when she was revived.”

Shizune asks, perplexed, “But why does it look so different from Naruto’s chakra cloak?”

Sarutobi says, with a plain tone, “Simple. The chakra left in Kushina still contained the hatred of the Nine-Tailed Fox within it. Remember, the Nine-Tailed Fox is spirit of anger, rage, and hatred and while the chakra from it left in Kushina is no longer connected to the fox, the fox’s will, its anger, rage, and hatred, are still apart of that chakra. Naruto has no problems because his legendary Burning Force power combined with the Crimson Dragon allowed him to reseal the fox and separate its chakra from itself, Shizune.”

Tsunade says, seriously, “None of the fox’s will is in its chakra anymore. Naruto’s own will is controlling the chakra, not the fox itself!”

Shizune says, fearfully, “Does this mean the rage of the fox in its chakra is enhancing Kushina’s own anger?”

Sarutobi says, with a plain tone, “I fear so and I also fear what that chakra is doing to her now. We’re not sure that chakra is damaging her body.”

Kushina yells out, in a demonic-like tone, “Old Man, how dare you let this village do that to my son! After all that Minato-kun and I did for this village?!”

Sarutobi tells Kushina, pleadingly, “Kushina, you need to calm down…” Kushina slams her right fist into the ground creating a massive crater in her wake and shaking the whole area if not the whole village.

Shizune yells out, shocked, “Such power!”

Tsunade says, with a serious tone, “If I would give my estimate, I would say that she is just as strong one-tails of the fox’s own power!”

Just then a male voice calls out, “Kushina-sama!” Everyone looks to see Kakashi arriving on the scene and he gasps in shock at seeing her. Kakashi asks, stunned, “Kushina-sama, what…?”

Tsunade tells Kakashi, “Explain later! Calm her down now!”

Kakashi tells Kushina, “Kushina-sama, it’s me.”

Kushina says, with a demonic low tone, “Kakashi…”

Kakashi tells her, “Kushina-sama, you have a right to be angry about what happened. They should have honored your husband’s last wish.”

Kushina yells out, angrily and demonically, “A wish that my Minato-kun made on his hands and knees with his dying breath! They celebrate him while spitting on the face of his grave with every blow that they gave to our son! I’ll make sure that they know the price of betrayal!”

Kakashi yells out, strongly, “And what will Naruto think of you, Kushina-sama?! Look at yourself! You are turning just like into those that hurt your son because of that thing that he has and you had inside of Kushina-sama! Is that what you want Naruto to see you as when he gets back?!” Kushina’s eyes, which are red and slit-like, grow wide and she looks at herself as well as the chakra cloak surrounding her. She closes her eyes and the chakra cloak slowly recedes until she is back to normal with the cloak vanishing. Soon after, Tsunade, Sarutobi, Shizune, and Kakashi go over to her through the ANBU are fearful to do so due to who she is as well as knowing that she has THAT nasty power within her.

Shizune asks, curiously, “Is she all right?”

Kakashi asks, plainly, “Lady Hokage, can you explain what happened to Kushina-sama? Why was she?”

Tsunade says, plainly, “We believe that she might hold some amount of the Nine-Tailed Fox’s chakra within her, but until Naruto, the fox’s hatred wasn’t separated from it.”

Kakashi gives a surprised look and Shizune asks, curiously, “What should we do?”

Kushina replies, weakly, “I’ll control it.” When everyone looks at Kushina, she says, “I’m not going to allow Naruto to take on this burden and I’m going to need that power.” Kushina asks Tsunade, “Tsunade-sensei, could you help me?”

Tsunade tells Kushina, “I’ll try, Kushina, but I’m not sure what you have got planned.”

Kushina asks Tsunade, “What’s this about Naruto gaining control of the Nine-Tailed Fox’s power?”

(Back with our group in the Land of Rice Fields; A good time afterwards)

Returning to the Land of Rice Fields, we find Naruto, Sakura, Haku, and Serena having packages of food with Naruto and Sakura having steak on sticks.

Naruto says, with a plain tone, “Let the Pervy Sage do his own thing. We can do our own investigation.”

Serena says, with a nod, “Good idea, Naruto.”

Luna says, with a nod, “I do agree myself.”

Sakura says, with a sigh, “I don’t think that Sasuke is here anymore.”

Naruto tells Sakura, “Sakura, we don’t anything until we look around.”

Sakura tells Naruto, “I know, Naruto.”

Naruto tells Sakura, “We’re dealing with Orochimaru here. We knew that it would be difficult. But that doesn’t matter, Sakura. We’re going to find him along with Serena’s friends.”

Sakura says, with a nod, “Yeah, Naruto.”

Serena says, with a smile, “Thanks, Naruto.” Just then a rustling comes from the bushes and the ninja that attacked the group before rolls out of the bushes.

Naruto yells out, shocked, “You are the one from before?” When Haku gets in front of Serena to protect her, the mysterious masked ninja sees them and tries to get away, but the figure grabs the back of his/her shoulder showing that the ninja is injured.

Sakura says, plainly, “Something is wrong. He looks injured.”

Naruto asks, curiously, “What’s wrong?”

Just then Sakura hears something and she yells out, “Naruto!” Haku grabs Serena and leaps away in which Sakura leaps away too in which Naruto grabs the ninja as dozens of kunai land on the ground where the ninja once was. Sakura leaps into the trees, but she is then attacked by a mysterious man who is bald with a scar over his right eye while Naruto, carrying the masked ninja, is attacked by adult male with short black hair and a large claw on his right arm. The man with claw seemly slices both of them in two while the scarred male seems to impale Sakura with kunai, but soon enough, they see sliced off logs showing a Substitution Jutsu.

The man with the claw says, “Substitution, huh? They managed to get away.” Just then a strange male who shoulder long dark brown hair, dark brown skin, and looks like a hunchback comes out of the ground.

Just then scarred eyed male, sticking onto the trees like a spider, says, “Don’t worry. My little kids are spinning us a trail. They can’t escape us now.”

The man with the claw, “They are ninja from beyond these lands. They made a mistake by coming into our backyard.”

The hunchback male says, “A pity.”

The spider-like scarred male says, “Anyone coming here must be looking for Orochimaru-sama anyway.” The three mysterious ninja give sinister giggles as they prepare to follow them.

(Sometime soon after; Elsewhere)

Back at the abandoned temple that our group was in earlier with Jiraiya, we find Naruto looking outside to see if they are under attack while Sakura, Serena, and Haku observe the masked ninja, who wakes up, and immediately goes defensive.

Sakura tells her, as the ninja holds the wounded shoulder, “It’s all right. We’re not going to hurt you. You’re wounded. If it gets infected, you are going to be in big trouble.” Sakura tells her, “I have some medical cream with me and Haku has some training in the medical arts.”

Haku says, with a nod, “Let us help you.”

Naruto says, going over, “I think that it is safe. Let’s look at that wound.” The mysterious ninja looks down and gives a nervous expression in which Haku and Sakura get immediately.

Sakura tells Naruto, “Naruto, Haku and I need to concrete. Wait outside.” Naruto gives a perplexed look as he is thrown out of the temple and falls down on his face.

Serena asks, nervously, “Was that really necessary?” However, Sakura stay by the door and she then punches out the door, hitting Naruto in the chin.

Sakura yells out, annoyed, “No peeking!” Serena and Haku then hear Naruto crashing back down to the ground in front of the temple with a loud ‘thud’.

Serena thinks in her mind, nervously, “She and Pyro would really get along?”

Haku tells Sakura, “Lady Kushina might not hearing that.”

Sakura tells Haku, with a sigh, “But you know as well as I do why I did that.”

As Haku nods her head, Serena replies, perplexed, “Well, I don’t.”

Sakura tells the mysterious ninja, who is shocked by what Sakura did, “Don’t worry, Haku and I know. Let’s take care of that injury.” The mysterious ninja removes the mask that reveal beautiful long flowing orange with some of it tied in a bun and giving facial features of a young girl of Naruto’s and Sakura’s age.

Luna, who is watching from the side, thinks, amazed, “She is just a young girl! Maybe of Naruto’s and Sakura’s age in fact!” Soon after, Sakura applies the cream in which Haku uses a bit of medical ninjutsu to close the wound.

When they were done, Sakura calls out, “Naruto, you can come in!” When Naruto comes in, he gasps to see the girl.

Naruto exclaims, “What is a pretty girl doing here?”

Sakura tells Naruto, drolly, “Naruto, you dope. That’s the ninja from awhile ago.”

Naruto asks, stunned, “She is?” Naruto then remembers about touching her chest in a ‘suggestive place’ and Naruto says, blushing, “Come to think of it…”

Sakura then pounds him on the head and Luna says, “I swear, Serena, this Naruto is a male version of you.”

Serena asks Luna, “What’s that supposed to mean Luna?”

Naruto looks at the bushing kunoichi in front of him and she tells him, “I’m Sasame Fuma.” Soon after, our group introduce themselves and they sat down on the floor to talk.

Naruto asks Sasame, “What are you doing here, Sasame? What were those guys chasing you for?”

Sakura tells her, “It’s okay, Sasame. Maybe we can help.”

Sasame replies, “They are Sound ninja that protect Orochimaru.” After the group gives looks of surprise, Sasame says, “I thought that you were in league with them when I attacked you. Sorry about that.”

Naruto tells Sasame, “That doesn’t matter. We need to know what else that you know.”

Serena says, “Orochimaru is holding some of my friends as hostages, Sasame-san. We need to know everything that you know.” Sasame then explains about the Daimyo of the Land of Rice Fields tried to expand and failed in which those ninja clans that supported him fell into hard times including her clan known as the Fuma clan. Sasame then explains about how Orochimaru came to them with promises of being in the land’s first true ninja village in which her cousin, Arashi Fuma, was chosen along with a group of others to go with the representatives, but they didn’t return and haven’t heard of them.

Naruto says, with a sneer, “That snake pulled them into his twisted web!”

Sasame says, with tears in her eyes, “I have to save Arashi! I’ve always been a burden in training and Arashi was always there to save me! Everyone else has given up, but I can’t! I’m going to find the Hidden Sound on my own and save him! It’s my turn to save him!”

Serena tells Sasame, “We know how you feel. That snake has taken friends of ours too.”

Naruto says, with a grin, “That’s right, Sasame-san. We’ve got Serena’s friends and Sasuke, our friend, to bring back. We just have one more person to bring back.”

Just then Sakura notices a spider land on Sasame’s shoulder and Sakura says, with a plain tone, “Ugh, a spider.”

Haku thinks in her mind, “That’s no ordinary spider.” Haku looks up and she yells out, gasping in shock, “Everyone, above!” Everyone then looks in shock to see the whole ceiling covered in these spiders.

Naruto runs out the door and Sakura yells out, “Naruto!”

When Naruto looks outside, he sees the whole temple complex covered in spider silk in which he yells out, “What’s going on here?”

A voice calls out, “It is my Ninja Art: Wind Spiders, boy. My darling children have spun webs that led us right to you and now, all three of you together shall take our secrets to your graves!”

Sakura tells Naruto, “He is using some kind of Ventriloquism Jutsu to project his voice all around.”

Naruto tells Sakura, “Gotcha, Sakura! Just take care of her! Haku, keep Serena safe!” Naruto leaps out, cuts some of the spider silk in his way, and creates dozens upon dozens of Shadow Clones to battle.

We find the man with the claw-like weapon and spider-like man with the scar-like eye looking down from high perch overlooking the temple and the spider-like man says, “There are a lot of them, but he is just using the Clone Jutsu.”

The man with the claw-like weapon tells the spider-like man, “Not so fast, Jigumo. The webs are getting tangled.”

The spider-like man tells man with the claw-like weapon, “They are solid?! It is a Shadow Clone Jutsu?”

The man with the claw-like weapon says, looking back to the hunchback dark skinned male in the ground, “Kagero!”

The man replies, with a deep male voice, “Understood.” Naruto yells out for his enemy to show themselves, but then Kagero’s voice booms, “Born to born. Breathing but to live. One sunrise and one sunset. Kagero’s life is a mayfly lasts a single day, but pitting one so, it is itself is pitiful. Know I am at my greatest when I am lying in the deep and darkest sphere.”

“Ninja Art: Ant Lion Jutsu!”

Soon after, the ground shakes a large sand pit opens and swallows the temple into the earth in which plenty of Naruto Shadow Clones fall with it causing them to dispel.

“Summoning Jutsu!”

In a large puff of smoke, a large toad appears by the edge of the large pit in which Jiraiya appears on the back of the toad.

Jiraiya yells out, “Naruto, grab hold!” One of the Narutos, the real Naruto, grabbed onto the tongue, but then Kagero comes out and impales him with a few kunai, however, this ‘Naruto’ turns into smoke to reveal that he is a Shadow Clone.

Kagero asks, shocked, “A Shadow Clone? Where is the real one?”

Just then Naruto’s voice calls out, “Right here!” Kagero looks to see Naruto and two of his Shadow Clones get lifted into the air by the toad that Jiraiya is sitting on in which one Shadow Clone charges in for the punch while the other helps Naruto form a Rasengan. The Shadow Clone doesn’t hit, but it forces Kagero to leap into the air in which Naruto comes down on him in which he has no time to defend himself.

“Rasengan!”

Naruto slams the chakra sphere into Kagero’s chest and sends the hunchback into a large rock causing a large crater to form in the rock when his body slams into it. Soon after, Kagero collapses to the ground.

Naruto yells out, excitedly, “Yeah, I got him!”

Jiraiya tells Naruto, “There are his two associates out there, Naruto! The battle isn’t over!” And as if on cue, they appear and grab Kagero in which they zip away with incredible speed.
Naruto says, amazed, “Wow, they can really move especially running away.”

Jiraiya asks, “Aren’t you forgetting something or should I say some people?”

Naruto says, worriedly, “Oh no! Sakura! Serena! Haku! Sasame-san!”

Just then a female voice calls out, “Over here, Naruto!” Soon after, Serena as Sailor Moon, Sakura, Haku, Sasame, and Luna walk over to them.

Haku says, with a smile, “It is a good thing that Lady Serena’s teleportation technique works for short ranges when it is just here using it.”

Naruto tells them, “I really glad that all of you are okay.”

Sakura tells Naruto, with a grin, “We should be thanking Serena for getting us out of there.”

Sailor Moon says, with a smile, “It’s no problem.” Just then they hear footsteps and everyone swings in which Sailor Moon gasps to seemly see a raven haired female of Sailor Moon’s age with violet eyes and wearing red and white sailor outfit.

Haku asks, curiously, “Who is that?”

Sailor Moon asks, curiously, “Sailor Mars?”

The teen girl replies, with a grin, “Who do you think Meatball Head?”

Sailor Moon says, with a smile, “You’re all right!” Sailor Moon then goes over to her friend, not noticing the sinister smile on her face, but then Naruto leaps forward and throws several kunai at her.

Naruto yells out, strongly, “Serena-san, stay away from her!” Sailor Mars then leaps away from the kunai and Naruto charges in for the attack in which Sailor Mars seemly blocks it.

Sakura asks Naruto, stunned, “Naruto, what are you doing?”

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “I can sense it! This isn’t Serena’s friend! She, if this person is a she, is giving off an immense negative aura! You must one of Orochimaru’s creeps dressed up to trick Serena!”

Sailor Mars then gains a sinister smile and she replies, with a dark smirk, “You are half-right, Signer brat!” Sailor Mars then slams her fist into Naruto’s cheek pushing him back some. Sailor Mars says, with a wicked smile, “I’m not that little wench’s friend… Well, not exactly.”

Sakura says, with a snort, “What a dirty trick! Too bad that Naruto’s ability to sense negative auras took care of that! Take off that Transformation Jutsu and show your real face you fake!”

Sailor Mars replies, with a dark smile, “Who said that this was a Transformation Jutsu, you brat?” Just then Sailor Moon’s Rune Eye activates in which she sees a dark figure hovering over Sailor Mars in which its hands are controlling her.

Sailor Moon says, shocked, “That’s my friend, but she is not in control of her body!”

Everyone looks at Sailor Moon and Haku asks Sailor Moon, “Lady Serena, what do you mean?”

Sailor Moon says, with a serious tone, “Someone is inside of Rei-chan’s body and controlling her!”

Jiraiya says, with a plain tone, “I’m not surprised. Orochimaru must have figured out a way to at least somewhat duplicate the Yamanaka mind jutsu which allows them to transfer their minds into other people’s bodies and control them.”

Sailor Mars says, with a sinister smile, “I’m not surprised that the great Jiraiya himself caught on, but I’m surprised that blond haired brat caught me. However, hearing about the son of the Fourth Hokage and Red Storm, it isn’t surprised that you have a bit of your parents’ talent brat.”

Naruto yells out, seriously, “Get out of the body of Serena’s friend or…”

Sailor Mars replies, with a smirk, “Or you’ll what, Namikaze! Hurt me? The only one that you will hurt is the friend of your fellow Signer, Namikaze.” Sailor Mars then takes out a Neo Domino City Duel Disk from her sub-space pocket and the possessed Sailor Scout tells Sailor Moon, attaching the duel disk to her left wrist, “But there is a way to get her back. You’ll have to beat me in a duel to do it through.”

Haku tells Sailor Moon, “Lady Serena, this has got to be a trap.”

Sailor Moon says, taking out her duel disk from her sub-space pocket, “I have no choice. My friends always risked their lives for me in our battles and now, it is my turn! You’re on!” After Sailor Moon attached her duel disk to her left wrist, she prepares to fight her possessed friend to get whoever is controlling Sailor Mars out of her body in what may be another deadly life or death duel…

Sailor Moon: I won’t let you or Orochimaru take away my friends from me! I accept your challenge!

Possessed Sailor Mars: Don’t think that this duel will be easy, little girl! Due to these cuffs, every time we lose life-points, you get a nasty shock!

Naruto (angrily): That’s not fair! Serena is getting hurt!

Sakura: Come on, girlfriend! I know that you can do it!

Sailor Moon: Let’s do this! Life Stream Dragon! Crystal Leviathan Dragon! And the mighty Odin!”

Possessed Sailor Mars (shocked): But how?

Sakura: I’m glad that’s over, but what are those marks on her body?

Luna: That Orochimaru must have experimented on her and her powers. I know because I’m a victim as well.

Naruto: Finally, we’ve made it! We’ve made to that snake’s base! Now, let’s find Sasuke, Sasame’s cousin, and Serena’s friends!

Haku: We’ve got to split up.

Jiraiya: Okay, Naruto and Sakura are one team, Haku and Serena are another, and I’m heading off by myself.

Sailor Moon: Next time on ‘Naruto 5Ds’: Gaining a New Resolve

Naruto: This place is a total nightmare!

And here we go, everyone! Personally, I think that it was quite obvious that I would revive Naruto’s mom in this one! With Naruto, he deserves at least his mom in his life and that rotten jerk, Madara Uchiha, took away his family for his own selfish need for the Nine-Tailed Fox. And this chapter was inspired by episode 148 of Yu-Gi-Oh 5ds through I only saw the Japanese version so far. And something tells me that ZONE is some kind of alternate future version of Yusei Fudo, but we are going to have to see about that. You also must be wondering: Is there going to be a second Dark Signer of the Hummingbird in my story? You are going to have to read and find out folks! And before I leave, I’m thinking of getting rid of the old idea of ‘Sasuke Uchiha equals villain’, but I’m not going to make him a hero in this story. At best, Sasuke Uchiha is going to be in the ‘Grey’ area in which he will be neither hero nor villain. Finally, I’m sorry that this took so long, but my laptop had suffered through a bit of a program with an ‘internet scam virus’ just recently.
