Okay, everyone, we are going to take part of the Naruto anime filler arcs saga of this story, so, there won’t be too much of Sasuke Uchiha on the meanwhile, but he will be appearing and there will be a surprise twist with him. Personally, I’m thinking of putting him in the ‘Grey’ area in which he is not going to be either a hero or a villain and I do have a pairing planned for him, but you are going to have to wait and see to find out. But before Naruto heads on his training, he and the other Signers are going to face one big show down to end the story, however, you are going to need to read to find out what it is!

Chapter 26: Gaining a New Resolve

At this moment, we find Sailor Moon about to face off against Sailor Mars, who is in fact under the control of one of Orochimaru’s own ninja through a form of ‘possession’ similar to the Yamanaka clan’s Mind Transfer Jutsu. Behind and besides Sailor Moon are Naruto, Sakura, Jiraiya, and Haku, who with Serena have come to this area, the Land of Rice Fields, to find Orochimaru’s base, the Sound Village, and Sasame Fuma, a member of the Fuma clan

Haku tells Sailor Moon, “Lady Serena, this has got to be a trap!”

Sakura says, with a nod, “Haku is right, Serena. Orochimaru or anyone of his henchmen or women can’t be trusted.”

Sailor Moon says, putting her dueling deck into her duel disk, “I have no other choice, Sakura. That’s my friend, whose body Orochimaru’s goon is using. I won’t… I can’t abandon her.”

Naruto says, with a sly smirk, “Come on, Sakura, this… whoever that’s in the body of Serena’s friend must not know heck about dueling especially with a duel disk.”

‘Sailor Mars’ replies, with a sinister smirk, “That’s what you think, Namikaze! My technique of possessing this girl’s body is different from the Yamanaka clan jutsu, just similar in certain ways. One of the differences is that I can access the memories of this bitch and use them against you including who to duel the way that you, outsiders, do!”

There are plenty of gasps and Sakura yells out, angrily, “That’s not fair! That’s cheating! You are using someone else’s skills and not your own!”

‘Sailor Mars’ says, with a wicked smile, “All’s fair in love and war, wench! This isn’t a friendly little game! This is war and in war, you use every advantage that you get!”

Jiraiya says, with a plain tone, “Whoever this person is within that lovely young lady’s body, he or she has a point.”

Naruto yells out, annoyed, “You are not agreeing with that asshole, Pervy Sage!”

Jiraiya tells Naruto, with a stern tone, “That’s what war is, Naruto! While there is a sense of honor, in war, many times than not, it doesn’t work out that way. You are fighting to win and if you lose, you don’t just lose a simple game, you lose your life or many other people lose their lives, kid! It may not be ‘fair’ or ‘right’, but this is war! All of you need to learn that! When you fight a war, you fight to win!”

Sakura says, with a sigh, “As much as I hate to admit it, but Jiraiya-sama has a point.”

Naruto replies, with a stern tone, “Doesn’t mean that I like it. If we go to their level, how are we better than them?”

Jiraiya tells Naruto, “Hold up, gaki! I didn’t say that we should go these bastards’ and assholes’ level, I’m just saying that you need to accept this kind of fact of war. Like you said, Naruto, if we go to their level, how can we say that we are in the right?”

‘Sailor Mars’ asks, with a sneer, “Are we going to duel or not, princess?”

Sailor Moon says, with a serious glare, “I’m dueling and I’m going to save my friend.”

‘Sailor Mars’ says, with a sinister smile, “That might be difficult if you can’t save yourself, Signer!” Just then ‘Sailor Mars’ whips out a scroll in which three black metal rings come out which snap onto Sailor Moon’s neck and upper arms.

Sailor Moon yells out, stunned, “What’s this?!”

‘Sailor Mars’ says, with a wicked smile, “Just something to make the duel more interesting, princess. These are modified electrodes used in Underground Duels.”

Naruto asks, perplexed, “Underground Duels?”

Luna yells out, coming out of her hiding place, “I know of those! They are sinister devices used in what are known as ‘Underground Duels’, duels involved in the world of crime and criminals back home! Those collars give a severe electrical shock when a duelist loses life-points causing incredible and horrible pain!”

There are gasps and Sasame thinks in her mind, “Did that cat just talk?”

Naruto yells out, strongly, “This isn’t the duel that Serena agreed to asshole!”

‘Sailor Mars’ asks, attaching the same electrodes to her neck and upper arms, “Relax, kid! I’m going to use the same things on me or should I say, this girl! And before you say that my jutsu is like the Yamanaka jutsu where my real body gets her when she gets hurt, how can you be so sure? How can you be sure that I can’t slit her throat and I’ll be just fine?”

Luna yells out, “You wouldn’t dare!”

‘Sailor Mars’ says, with a sly sneer, “Try me, you street cat!”

Sailor Moon says, plainly, “Fine, I get it! I duel you this way!”

‘Sailor Mars’ says, with a sinister grin, “Good girl, little princess.” ‘Sailor Mars’ puts a deck into her duel disk in which both duel disks activate, display 4000 life-points for each duelists, and both of them draw five cards from their decks as their duel begins.

“Duel!” Sailor Moon and her possessed friend yell out in unison as their duel begins.

‘Sailor Mars’ draws a card and she says, with a grin, “I’ll start this duel off! I draw!” ‘Sailor Mars’ says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “I play my Foolish Burial spell card! Now, I sent one monster card from my deck to my graveyard!” One card comes out of deck of the possessed Sailor Scout and she sends it into her graveyard slot. She then puts another card into the spell/trap slots and she yells out, “I play Monster Reborn to revive the card that I just sent in there: Solar Flare Dragon!” Just then Solar Flare Dragon (1500/1000) appears on the field in attack mode.

Sasame asks, shocked, “How did she bring to life a Duel Monster?!”

Sakura tells Sasame, “That’s not exactly a real-life Duel Monster. It is a ‘hologram’. Call it a technology made Genjutsu, Sasame-san.”

Sasame says, amazed, “A Genjutsu created by machines? But it looks so real.”

Naruto says, with a plain tone, “It usually isn’t, but with stuff like those things, it can feel that it is becoming real. Anyway, it isn’t looking good for Serena. I had that card once and it deals out five hundred points of damage at Serena at the End Phase of this body snatcher’s turn.”

Sakura says, nervously, “That’s not good.”

‘Sailor Mars’ says, putting a third card into the spell/trap slots, “Next, I play my Inferno Reckless Summon! When a monster is special summoned, I can play all copies of the same monster from my hand, deck, and graveyard!” Two more cards come out of the deck of ‘Sailor Mars’, she puts them on her duel disk, and two more Solar Flare Dragons (1500/1000 X 2) appear on the field in attack mode.

Naruto says, shocked, “And that’s even worse!”

Sakura thinks in her mind, nervously, “No kidding, Naruto!”

‘Sailor Mars’ says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “I play one card face-down and end my turn causing you to lose fifteen hundred life-points! Prepare for a world of hurt, Signer!” All three Solar Flare Dragons unleash fireballs that slam into Sailor Moon and she screams out in pain as the collar and the electrodes attached to her upper arms send a powerful electric shocking coursing through her body as she loses 1500 life-points!

Luna yells out, horrified, “Serena!”

As Sailor Moon struggles to stay on her feet, ‘Sailor Mars’ tells her, with a nasty taunting tone, “What’s the matter? Can’t you stand on your two feet for once? Since I took memories of your little friend here, I know that without someone like her holding your hand, you are nothing!”

Naruto says, strongly, “That’s not true, jerk! Serena is stronger than you think!”

‘Sailor Mars’ retorts, with a wicked smile, “Yeah, right! I’ve looked through this girl’s memories and this ‘Meatball Head’ couldn’t fight without her friends getting hurt to make sure that she makes the final attack against the monsters that they were fighting!”

Sailor Moon groans out, “They might have been true, but… not anymore! This time, I’m going to stand on my own two feet, but I’m never alone! You might have Rei-chan’s body, but her spirit is always with me!”

‘Sailor Mars’ says, with a grin, “Let’s see if her ‘spirit’ can save you, princess! Make your move!”

Possessed Sailor Mars: 4000

Sailor Moon says, drawing a card, “It’s my move!” Sailor Moon says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “I play my Special Hurricane! By discarding one card from my hand, all Special Summon monsters are destroyed! And since all three of your Fire freaks were brought out that way, they are goners!” Sailor Moon discards one card from her hand and a powerful twist appears on the field in which all three Solar Flare Dragons are destroyed. Sailor Moon says, discarding one card while putting another on her duel disk, “I discard my level one Neko Mane King to play my Egoistical Ape in attack mode!” Soon after, Egoistical Ape (1200/1200) appears on the field in attack mode and Sailor Moon says, “I can now increase or decrease his level by the level of the monster that I discard so I increase it by one making him a level six!” After Egoistical Ape’s level increases by one, Sailor Moon says, putting one card on his duel disk, “Next, I play Catnipped Kitty in attack mode as well!” Just then Catnipped Kitty (0/500) appears on the field in attack mode and Sailor Moon shouts out, “And now, I tune my Ape with my cute little kitty to Synchro Summon Lightning Tricorn in attack mode!” Egoistical Ape turns into six stars that turn into six rings that surround Catnipped Kitty making it become transparent before a column of light appears on the field. Sailor Moon takes a Synchro Monster card from her Extra Deck, puts it on her duel disk, and Lightning Tricorn (2800/2000) appears on the field in attack mode.

Naruto yells out, excitedly, “Great job, Serena! Now, take it on home!”

Sailor Moon yells out, “Lightning Tricorn, direct attack!” Sailor Moon thinks in her mind, solemnly, “I’m sorry, Rei-chan.”

As Lightning Tricorn charges in for the attack, ‘Sailor Mars’ says, pushing a button on her duel disk, “Sorry, Signer, but I play my Firewall trap card!” The possessed Sailor Scout’s face-down card is revealed to be the continuous trap card Firewall and ‘Sailor Mars’ says, while removing one Solar Flare Dragon (1500/1000) monster card from her graveyard, “Thanks to my trap card, by removing one Pyro monster from my grave, your attack is negated!” A wall of flames protects ‘Sailor Mars’ from Lightning Tricorn negating the attack.

Sailor Moon says, with a sigh while putting the last card in her hand into the spell/trap slots, “I end my turn with one card face-down.”

‘Sailor Mars’ draws a card and she says, “In order to keep my Firewall on the field, my life-points drop by five hundred points!” ‘Sailor Mars’ gets a nasty shock as she loses 500 life-points in which she winches and she says, with a sinister smile, “Nasty sting, but nothing compared to what I have experienced.” ‘Sailor Mars’ says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “Now, I play my Double Summon spell card! For this turn, I can Normal Summon twice this turn!” ‘Sailor Mars’ says, putting one card on his duel disk, “First, I play my Flame Ruler in attack mode!” Soon after, Flame Ruler (1500/1600) appears on the field in attack mode and ‘Sailor Mars’ says, putting another card on his duel disk, “By the way, princess, if my Flame Ruler is used to play a Fire monster, he counters a double tribute! So, I release my Ruler in order to Advance Summon Tyrant Dragon in attack mode!” Flame Ruler vanishes in which Tyrant Dragon (2900/2500) appears on the field in attack mode.

Sailor Moon says, nervously, “Oh, boy.”

‘Sailor Mars’ yells out, “Tyrant Dragon, take out her little unicorn with Tyrant Flame!” Tyrant Dragon unleashes a burst of flames at Lightning Tricorn and destroys it with a burst of flames in which Sailor Moon yelps as she loses 100 life-points and gets shocked at the same time.

Sailor Moon says, taking a Synchro Monster card from her Extra Deck, “My Tricorn’s ability allows me to summon one Voltic Bicorn or Thunder Unicorn from my Extra Deck when he is destroyed! And I choose Voltic Bicorn!” Soon after, Voltic Bicorn (2500/2000) appears on the field when Sailor Moon puts the Synchro Monster card on her duel disk.

‘Sailor Mars’ asks, with a sinister smug look, “Is that all you’ve got, little girl?”

Sailor Moon says, drawing a card, “I’m from done, witch.”

‘Sailor Mars’ says, with a wicked grin, “My dragon might say otherwise since it is stronger than your horsy!”

Sailor Moon says, putting one card on her duel disk, “My Uni-Horned Familiar might have something to say to that, you body stealer!” Soon after, Uni-Horned Familiar (0/1000) appears on the field in attack mode and Sailor Moon yells out, “And now, I tune my Familiar with my Tricorn!” Just then Uni-Horned Familiar turns into two stars that surround Voltic Bicorn making it become transparent before a column of light appears on the field. When Sailor Moon takes out a Synchro Monster card, her ‘Mark of the Dragon’ glows and she chants out, “From the waters of life and legend, the ancient star will shine again! Become a new path that all hope shines upon! Synchro Summon!” Sailor Moon says, putting the Synchro Monster card on her duel disk, “Now, meet one of my dragons: Crystal Leviathan Dragon!” Soon after, Crystal Leviathan Dragon (3000/2000) appears on the field in attack mode and Serena says, with a serious tone, “And when she is brought to the field, she negates the effects of one spell or trap card for every Beast, Winged-Beast, Sea Serpent, Fairy, and Dragon type monster out on the field until the end of this turn!” Soon after, the hologram of the Firewall continuous trap card is frozen solid.

Sakura says, excitedly, “Way to go, girlfriend!”

Sailor Moon yells out, “Attack with Rainbow Nova!” Crystal Leviathan Dragon unleashes its power on Tyrant Dragon, destroying it, and ‘Sailor Mars’ yelps out in pain as she loses 100 life-points.

‘Sailor Mars’ asks, annoyed, “Are you done?”

Sailor Moon says, with a nod, “I am now, you witch.”

‘Sailor Mars’ says, drawing a card, “It’s my turn now!” Soon after, she gets shocked as her life-points drop by five hundred due to her trap card and she says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “I play my Pot of Greed and draw two more cards!” ‘Sailor Mars’ draws two more cards from her deck, puts one card into the spell/trap slots, and she yells out, “I activate my Shrink spell card and cut your dragon’s power in half!” After Crystal Leviathan Dragon goes from 3000/2000 to 1500/2000, ‘Sailor Mars’ says, putting one card on her duel disk, “And then I play my Horus the Black Flame Dragon level four in attack mode!” Just then Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV4 (1600/1000) appears on the field in attack mode. ‘Sailor Mars’ says, with a serious tone, “Horus, destroy her lizard now!” Hours destroys Crystal Leviathan Dragon with a blast of flames in which Sailor Moon yelps out as she loses 100 life-points.

Naruto says, stunned, “Oh, man! That’s one of her ace monsters!”

‘Sailor Mars’ says, as a card comes out of her deck, “And I’ll end my turn in which my Hours goes from level four to level six!” When ‘Sailor Mars’ puts the card on her duel disk, Hours the Black Flame LV4 turns into Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV6 (2300/1600) appears on the field in attack mode.

Sailor Moon says, drawing a card, “My turn.” Sailor Moon says, putting one card on her duel disk, “I end my turn with one monster face-down.”

‘Sailor Mars’ says, drawing a card, “My move, princess!” As ‘Sailor Mars’ groans as she gets shocked while losing five hundred life-points, she puts one card into the spell/trap slots and she says, “I play my Fire Soul, princess! You get to draw one card!” After Sailor Moon draws one card, ‘Sailor Mars’ takes out a card from her deck, displays her Infernal Flame Emperor (2700/1600) monster card, and she says, putting into the sub-space pocket, “And I choose one Fire monster from my deck and remove it from play, but you take damage equal to half of its attack points!” Just then Infernal Flame Emperor appears, slams her fist into Sailor Moon, and she yells out in pain as she loses 1350 life-points.

Sakura says, horrified, “Oh no!”

Haku says, shocked, “Lady Serena!”

‘Sailor Mars’ says, with a wicked smile, “Be glad that I can’t attack this turn, but next turn, this duel is over!”

Possessed Sailor Mars: 2400

Sailor Moon thinks in her mind, “I can’t lose here! Rei-chan is counting me! The girls are counting on me to save them! I know there is one card in my deck that can help and I need to draw it now! I need to believe and show them why I’m one of the six Signers and Sailor Moon, the champion of Love and Justice!” Sailor Moon draws one card from her deck and she says, smiling as she looks at it, “You’re right. This duel is over, but for you!”

‘Sailor Mars’ replies, with a dark snort, “Prove it, princess!”

Sailor Moon says, putting one card in the spell/trap slots, “First, I play my Card of Sanctity! My spell card forces all of us to draw until we have six cards in our hands!” After the two female duelists draw cards from their decks until they have six cards in their hands and Serena says, after putting one on her duel disk, “I play my Valkyrie of the Nordic Ascendant in attack mode!” Soon after, Valkyrie of the Nordic Ascendant (400/800) appears on the field in attack mode in which Serena discards two cards from her hand in which she says, “Now, I discard two cards to play two Einherjar Tokens in defense mode!” Soon after, two Einherjar Tokens (1000/1000 X 2) appears on the field in defense mode and Sailor Moon yells out, “I tune my level two Valkyrie with both of my Tokens!” Valkyrie of the Nordic Ascendant creates two circles that both tokens go into making them become transparent while Sailor Moon takes a Synchro Monster card from her deck and chants out, “The all-seeing and all-powerful king who rules the heavens circling the North Star. Now, show your might that reigns over the Gods of Asgard! Synchro Summon!” After Sailor Moon’s Rune Eye appears in her left eye, she puts the Synchro Monster card on her duel disk and yells out, “Meet the supreme ruler of Asgard: Odin, Father of the Aesir!” Just then a huge column of light appears on the field, shakes the whole area, and Odin, Father of the Aesir (4000/3500) appears on the field in attack mode.

Naruto yells out, stunned, “Whoa, everyone! That monster is huge!”

‘Sailor Mars’ asks, shocked, “What kind of monster is that?”

Sailor Moon says, with a grin, “Meet my Aesir or Polar God card: Odin!”

‘Sailor Mars’ asks, stunned, “Polar what?”

As Sailor Moon’s crescent moon sigil glows along with her Rune Eye and broach, she says, “Polar God Card, you body stealer! And now, Odin is going to help me win this duel!” Sailor Moon says, pushing a button on her duel disk, “I activate my Divine Relic Mjollnir trap card!” Sailor Moon’s face-down card is revealed to be the Divine Relic Mjollnir trap card and Sailor Moon says, seriously, “This trap card allows my Aesir monster attack twice this turn, but he won’t need to since this card also inflicts one grand in life-point damages when my Polar Deity destroys one of your monsters!”

‘Sailor Mars’ exclaims, stunned, “But that means…!”

Sailor Moon says, with a serious tone, “That this duel is done! When you return to that snake, you tell him that I will never give up and I will never surrender my crystal and the power of Crimson Dragon that I have been given as one of the Signers! And tell him this too: My parents’ death shall be the last innocent people that he will ever kill! I shall be the one to pass his last judgment! Odin, attack her directly with Heaven’s Judgment!” Odin charges up his spear with celestial energy and impale Horus in the chest destroying it in which ‘Sailor Mars’ cries out in pain and agony as she loses 2700 life-points the combined battle damage between Horus and Odin as well as Sailor Moon’s trap card causing the immediate end to this duel.

Possessed Sailor Mars: 0

The possessed fire Sailor Scouts collapses onto one knee and Naruto yells out, “Way to go, Serena! I knew that you couldn’t be beaten by a poser using your friend like a smiley parasite!”

‘Sailor Mars’, whose form is smoking due to the powerful electrical shocks, says, angrily, “I’m not done yet.” She then makes some quick hand signs as she prepares to unleash her attack.

“Fire Style: Phoenix Flower Jutsu!”

‘Sailor Mars’ then unleashes breath of flames in which Sailor Moon yelps as she barely dodges the attacks and ‘Sailor Mars’ leaps out of the way, but Odin, who is still materialized, uses his spear to block her escape.

‘Sailor Mars’ asks, stunned, “The duel is over, how is that monster still here?”

Sailor Moon replies, “You are not talking about some ordinary monster, witch. This is monster much like the Egyptian God Cards and the Crimson Dragon!” Soon after, the electrodes fall to the ground with loud ‘clunks’ with the end of the duel in which Sailor Moon says, with a serious tone, “It is time that I get my friend back!”

‘Sailor Mars’ says, with a smirk, “That’s too bad, princess! Orochimaru-sama invested a bit too much since he gained new medical advances including what you call cloning and ‘gene splicing’.”

There are stunned looks and Sakura asks, perplexed, “What do you mean?”

Jiraiya says, with a sneer, “That rat! Are you saying that he is performing experiments on humans like he did back in the village?”

Naruto asks Jiraiya, “What do you mean?”

Jiraiya tells Naruto, “Orochimaru wasn’t always interested in the Sharingan. He, once, wanted the power of the First Hokage, the Wood Release, since it had the power to control the Tailed Beasts. He took sixty babies and implanted them with the First Hokage’s cells.”

There are gasps of shock and Sakura asks, horrified, “He experimented on babies?”

Jiraiya says, with a nod, “Yep.”

Sailor Moon asks, horrified, “You mean that he…?”

‘Sailor Mars’ says, with a smirk, “Your little friend here fought real hard. She was a real fighter. Kicking and screaming only in anger and refused to scream even after her body’s own genetics were being ripped apart and put together.”

Naruto says, angrily, “That… monster… he isn’t human!” Sailor Moon, for the first time in her life, felt true anger and her eyes narrowed uncharacteristically as she clenches her right hand in that anger.

Sailor Moon says, lowly, “I will never… forgive him…” When everyone looks at Sailor Moon, she says, lowly as she prepares to use her Silver Crystal, “I will never forgive him for such atrocities!” She then uses her crystal’s power and ‘Sailor Mars’ screams out as purifying light of the crystal bathes over her in which dark violet smoke seems to come out of her, take a feminine human form, and heads away as fast as the speed of sound itself. When the process is done, Sailor Mars collapses to the ground in a heap, purified of the ‘force’ that was controlling her.

Sailor Moon falls down on her right eye and Luna runs up to her in which she asks, concerned, “Serena, are you okay?”

Sailor Moon says, catching her breath, “Yeah, Luna, I’m okay.”

Jiraiya goes over to Sailor Mars and he says, plainly, “She is okay.”

Naruto says, with a nod, “That’s a bit of good news.”

Jiraiya tells Naruto and Sakura, “Okay, with that bit of trouble done and over with, who is lovely young girl with you?”

Sakura tells Jiraiya, “Okay, Jiraiya-sama, keep back.”

Jiraiya asks, plainly, “What’s wrong?”

Sakura tells Jiraiya, “Just stay back Jiraiya-sama.”

Jiraiya yells out, giving a shocked look, “You would think?! She is too young for me and I don’t think about that all the time.”

Sailor Moon says, “Could have fooled me, you old pervert.”

Naruto says, with a nod, “It’s about time that Sakura caught onto you, Pervy Sage.”

Jiraiya yells out, annoyed, “Don’t call me, Pervy Sage.”

Naruto asks, with a smirk, “Wonder what my mom will call you if I say that you are trying to turn me into a pervert like you?”

Jiraiya replies, nervously, “You wouldn’t dare, gaki!”

Sakura tells Naruto and Jiraiya, annoyed, “Okay, you two, cut it out!” Sakura says, with a sigh, “Anyway, this is Sasame Fuma from the Fuma clan and she is looking high and low for Orochimaru’s hideout since her cousin has been taken away.”

Jiraiya asks, with a plain tone, “The Fuma clan again?”

Naruto asks, confused, “What do you mean again?”

Jiraiya replies, with a plain tone, “In the last village, I met up with some people that claim to be part of the Fuma clan.”

Naruto exclaims, stunned, “You actually got some useful information and not goof around?”

Sailor Moon says, rolling her eyes, “Who would have thought?”

Jiraiya explains, with a smile, “There was this nice little tavern and stop for a snack and a drink in which I found that it was their hideout…”

Naruto yells out, annoyed, “I thought so, Pervy Sage! You were fooling around! I bet there were some pretty girls there too!”

Jiraiya tells Naruto, “Easy, gaki! And by the way, what would your friend, Sakura, think?”

Sakura says, drolly, “I stopped respecting you sometime ago.”

Jiraiya says, with a solemn tone, “I see, Sakura. That’s quite sad.”

Sailor Moon replies, drolly, “I have to say that you are quite sad, perv.”

Luna says, plainly, “For once, Serena, I agree.”

Sasame asks, curiously, “There were from the Fuma clan.”

Jiraiya says, with a nod, “That’s what they said. Their leader is a man named Hanzaki.”

Sasame says, with a plain tone, “Hanzaki and his followers are traitors, who abandoned our clan.”

Jiraiya asks, curiously, “Are they?”

Sasame asks Jiraiya, “When you met them, did they say anything?”

Jiraiya replies, as Luna goes over to him, “After I taught them a lesson for trying to take their money, I questioned them about Orochimaru, but sadly, they didn’t know anything.”

Sasame gives a sigh of relief and she says, “If you want to know where he is, I can show you!”

Naruto yells out, excitedly, “You can? Great, Sasame!” On the meanwhile, Luna leaps up to Jiraiya’s shoulder and whispers something to him in which Jiraiya does the same in which Haku notices the movements of Jiraiya’s mouth narrowing her eyes.

(Sometime later; within another part of the Land of Rice Fields)

Right now, we find our group sitting in front of a large lunch with Haku carrying Rei Hino, Sailor Mars’ ‘civilian form’, on her back in which Jiraiya explained that a girl in the tavern that he went to made this lunch in which the group sweatdrop at the story.

Sasame tells them, “I’ll go and make some tea!”

Jiraiya says, with a smile, “Sounds great!”

Haku then says, “I’m going to go with Lady Serena to examine those ‘strange marks’ that we found on Rei-san’s body.”

Jiraiya says, with a nod, “Understood.”

Naruto tells Jiraiya, with a glare, “And don’t you dare think about peeking for your ‘research’, Pervy Sage.”

Jiraiya says, annoyed, “How dare you, Naruto? I wouldn’t dare do that to a lovely young bud reaching her full bloom in such a way. Besides, she is too young for me.”

Serena thinks in her mind, drolly, “Oh, brother.” Soon enough, Haku and Serena head off into the woods with Luna walking besides them in which Luna and Haku give Jiraiya a brief glance in which he glances at them back at some kind of unsaid ‘conversation’ between them.

Sakura asks, concerned, “What were those marks on Rei-san’s back?” Just then an image of black pinwheel mark on backside of Rei’s neck appears in her mind and she says, worriedly, “I hope that it isn’t a Curse Mark!”

Naruto says, shaking his head, “Doubtful, Sakura. I didn’t sense the same stinking negative energy like in hicky that he gave Sasuke.”

Jiraiya says, with a plain tone, “It may be some kind of jutsu to keep her until his heel or something, but I’m not sure. I need to get a closer look at it. However, it is best that we get her back to the Leaf Village as soon as possible and get her a full examination by Tsunade.” Some distance away, Sasame is making tea inside of some kind of bamboo cups in which she slips something into them seemly not noticed by the rest of the group that are still here.

After she does so, Sasame says, with a smile, “The tea is ready.” She gives one to Naruto, Jiraiya, and then to Sakura in which they drink it after Sakura gives her some food in which Sasame starts to eat, but looking warily at them. Just then Jiraiya gains a look that he has been poisoned or something and collapses.

Naruto asks, stunned, “Pervy Sage, what’s wrong…?” However, Naruto collapses and faints as well in which Sakura is shocked.

Sakura says, stunned, “Naruto…!” But then Sakura collapses and faints as well in which Sasame back away and looks them over to see that they are unconscious. Sasame then launches a red flare into the air and after awhile, Jigumo and the man with the claw-like weapon, known as Kamikiri, appears.

Jigumo asks, curiously, “So, how did it go?”

Kamikiri says, with a grin while looking at the three unconscious ninja, “Not bad, Sasame. Just those other two.”

Sasame says, plainly, “I’ve done my part, now, take me to Arashi.”

Kamikiri says, with a smirk, “We will. Once we put them to sleep for good.”

Sasame asks, shocked, “What do you mean?” Sasame tells them, “You said that you only wanted to capture them so Orochimaru-sama could examine them.”

Kamikiri says, with a sinister smile, “He will examine them, but only from the neck up.”

Sasame yells out, pointing to Naruto, “You can’t! This boy is the son of the Fourth Hokage and Red Storm: Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze! He is also one of the Signers! I saw his Mark of the Dragon myself!”

Jigumo asks, curiously, “That brat is the one that holds the Rinnegan and one of the legendary Signers?”

Kamikiri says, with a wide grin, “Well, isn’t this our lucky day. I also heard rumors about a girl with blond hair like meatballs holding an item that Orochimaru-sama is looking for and she is a Signer too. Something tells me that’s our girl. Okay, we’ll let this one live along with the blond haired girl and the raven haired girl since Orochimaru-sama still has use for her! But the rest of them including the girl in kimono are going to lose a bit off the top from the neck up!”

Sasame yells out, holding her arms out defensively, “I won’t let you do it! They helped me…!”

Kamikiri says, annoyed, “Shut up, Sasame!” He smacks her in the face with his weapon knocking her towards a rock, but then a blur appears and grabs Sasame which lands on a rock revealing none other than Naruto himself!

Jigumo asks, stunned, “But how?”

Kamikiri asks, shocked, “Our paralyzing powder didn’t work?”

Naruto says, with a grin, “It didn’t work since we didn’t drink it. Who do you think we are? Idiots?” Soon after, Sakura leaps down in which Kamikiri throws three kunai into the three on the mat revealing them to be logs.

Kamikiri thinks in his mind, with a snort, “Substitution jutsu.”

Naruto tells Sakura, “Okay, Sakura, keep Sasame safe.”

Sakura says, with a smile, “Leave it to me.” Sakura tells Sasame, who is stunned, “You are going to be okay, Sasame.”

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “I don’t know what you did to make her do this, but you are going to pay for it!”

Kamikiri retorts, “You’re wrong, kid! We didn’t make her do anything! She did herself and she wanted to do it!”

Naruto says, annoyed, “Give me a break, jerk!”

Kamikiri says, with an evil smirk, “It’s true, brat.”

Just then a voice calls out, “It sounds like you tricked her by agreeing that they won’t be hurt and that she would see her cousin.” Kamikiri turns to face the voice only to have a barrage of senbon needles cut into him by Haku in which Naruto makes his move creating four Shadow Clones and uses his Uzumaki Barrage attack to knock Kamikiri and the real Naruto to slam him back down to the ground in which he hits hard enough to cause a crater to form.

Jigumo says, concerned, “This is not good.” Jigumo leaps down only to be met by Jiraiya who spits the tea with the paralyzing potion in his face stunning him for a moment.

“Rasengan!”

Jiraiya then slams a classic sphere chakra sphere into Jigumo’s chest sending him flying, but not too much since Jiraiya limited the power of his jutsu causing Jigumo to bounce onto Kamikiri, who is face down on the rocks.

Naruto yells down at them, “Don’t think that you are getting away that easily after what you did to her…!”

However, Haku pulls him to the right and she yells out, “Watch out, Naruto-sama!” Just then two kunai pass by the left side of Naruto’s head where it used to be in which everyone looks to see Kagero at the source of where the kunai came from.

Naruto says, with a snort, “Not this freak again.”

Jiraiya says, with a plain tone, “Our old friend with the Earth Style, but I doubt his jutsu will be as effect here in this rocky soil, Naruto.”

Kagero says, with a plain tone, “It is time. The ant lion from behind the earth and spreads its wings in the sunlight for only a brief moment. And then the Kagero that you know dies.” Kagero then turns deep chocolate brown color and looking like a cocoon in which he bursts open while some of the stuff that Kagero turns into lands on Naruto in which he looks at the material perplexed.

Naruto asks, confused, “What is this stuff?”

Jiraiya tells Naruto, “Naruto look!” When Naruto looks back at Kagero, his form turns into some kind of mud in which a violet eyed, green hair, and paled skinned girl in a white dress with four wings made of chakra come out of him. Jiraiya yells out, flabbergasted, “That’s incredible!”

Naruto asks, stunned, “That guy is a girl?”

Haku says, with a plain tone, “It must have been a disguise: A shell to hide her true form.”

The now female Kagero says, plainly, “Orochimaru promised that our clan can shine in the sun again, but in order to do that, I must give my all and use the jutsu that I can only use once in a lifetime. You should have surrendered Signer, but now, a new host for the power of the Crimson Dragon that you have.”

Naruto says, lowly, “I don’t like the sound of that.” Kagero flies into the air and moves her hands into hand signs.

“Kagero’s Ninja Art: Ephemeral!”

As four energy beams come from the wings, Jiraiya brings Naruto and Haku together with him in which they are seemly hit by the full force of the attack causing a massive explosion.

Sakura yells out, shocked, “Naruto! Jiraiya-sama! Haku!”

After the massive explosion, Kagero looks on, but gives a surprised look as he sees what looks like a lump of flesh covering the area where our three ninja were in which Naruto, Jiraiya, and Haku find themselves inside, safe and sound.

Naruto says, “I feel like I’ve been in here before.”

Jiraiya says, with a plain tone, “The Toad Mouth Trap jutsu and nothing is stronger than the esophagus of the fire-breathing toad.”

Naruto says, with a nervous toad seeing some acid burns a tree branch, “It looks like it broke through.”

Jiraiya says, with a plain tone, “It would have been worse if we took that jutsu head on, Naruto.” After the lump of flesh vanishes revealing the three ninja are all right, Kagero starts to glow.

Kagero says, with a plain tone, “I believed him. I thought that it was for the good of the clan.” She then turns into light that slams into the other two causing them to vanish.

Naruto asks, curiously, “What happened to her?”

Jiraiya says, with a plain tone, “She gave it her all. She risked her own life for what she believed in and what Orochimaru promised her.”

Naruto’s right hand turns into a fist and he says, angrily, “That monster! He took their love for their own and twist it into a force of evil as well as his own selfish gain! He used others to advance his own selfish purposes! How you can you get? I’m going to make him pay for that!”

Sailor Moon then teleports in with the still unconscious Rei Hino on her back and she asks, curiously, “Is everyone okay?”

Luna leaps out from behind her back and she tells him, “So, it looks like you were right, Jiraiya-sama?”

Jiraiya says, with a nod, “That’s right, Luna.” Jiraiya tells Sakura, still holding the unconscious Sasame in her arms, “Let’s get her somewhere safe.” A good time after the battle, we find our group looking at Sasame, who is still unconscious, with Haku looking over Rei.

Naruto asks, curiously, “The Pervy Sage got his butt kicked by Granny Tsunade’s medicine, so, how did he detect Sasame’s medicine?”

Sakura says, with a nod, “That’s good coming from him.”

Jiraiya says, with a plain tone, “You heard Sasame talking about Hanzaki being a traitor, didn’t you? That’s how I figured it out since he told me all that I needed to know!” Soon after, he relates the full story of meeting with Hanzaki Fuma. At this time, Sasame opened her eyes and Jiraiya says, with a smile, “The instant that Sasame called Hanzaki a traitor, I knew that Sasame got mixed up with a group on Orochimaru’s side.”

Serena asks Luna, “And you sensed his suspicion?”

Luna tells Serena, “I could tell by the tone of his voice and when I spoke to Jiraiya-sama, he told me and that’s why we had to get you out of the way, Serena. One, to guard Rei. And two, these weren’t people under mind control like Rei, Serena.”

Serena tells Luna, with a sigh, “I know, Luna.” Sasame took out a kunai to commit suicide with a kunai to her throat, but Jiraiya knocks it out of the way.

Jiraiya tells Sasame, harshly, “What do you think that you are doing?”

Naruto tells Jiraiya, “Easy, Pervy Sage.”

Sasame says, plainly, “I deserve this.”

Sakura tells Sasame, “But Sasame, this was just to see your cousin, Arashi?”

Sasame says, weakly, “I’m so sorry, but I thought…”

Sakura tells Jiraiya, “Jiraiya-sama, Sasame did what she did to see her cousin.”

Luna says, plainly, “Putting all of us in true danger! If Jiraiya-sama didn’t figure it out, all, but Serena, Naruto, and Rei would be dead and two Signers in Orochimaru’s hands along with the Silver Crystal and Naruto’s unique bloodline ability!”

Jiraiya says, with a nod, “That’s right. The Law of the Shinobi is clear. For what she has done, there must be severe consequences.”

Naruto says, sitting down in front of Sasame, “Oh, yeah! Then you should punish me too!”

When Sakura joins him, Jiraiya tells them, “I could order Haku to knock you both out in which she won’t be going back on her duty to protect any of the Signers since she will be protecting you from yourself.” Sakura and Naruto give gasps of surprise and he says, with a grin, “I won’t do that! Instead, Sasame, Hanzaki has been worried about you and he knew that you would do something like this, so, in punishment, after you showed us where the base is, you are going back to his tavern. This shall be your punishment.”

Naruto says, with a grin, “Well, Pervy Sage, I’ve got to give you credit.”

Sakura says, with a smile, “Thank you, Jiraiya-sama.”

Jiraiya says, with a goofy grin, “Hanzaki did give me some incredible stuff and I did promise to take care of her.”

There are plenty of sweatdrops and Serena says, with a sigh, “I should have known.”

Naruto yells out, annoyed, “That’s the last time that I give you credit, Pervy Sage!”

Jiraiya tells Naruto, “Come on, gaki, give me some slack.”

Just then a moan is heard and Haku’s voice calls out, “Lady Serena, your friend is waking up.” Everyone looks to see Rei groan and moan as her eyes shoot in which she gets to her feet in which she backs away in fear seeing Haku.

Serena goes over to her and she says, “Hey, Pyro! Calm down! You’re safe!”

Rei says, weakly, “Serena… No, this is some trick…”

Luna goes over and she says, “This is no trick, Rei! You are safe! Look at us! Look at Serena! Is this some kind of illusion?!” Rei looks at Luna and then Serena in which tears come to Rei’s eyes in which Rei, the normally strong willed and dominate girl, starts to cry on Serena’s shoulder.

Serena asks, stunned by Rei’s totally uncharacteristic behavior, “Rei-chan, what…?”

Rei says, crying her outs, “Meatball Head… Serena…!!”
Serena asks, horrified, “What… What they did do to you, Rei-chan?” Serena hugs her friend and Rei hugs back greatly.

Sakura says, shocked, “My words, Jiraiya-sama, I don’t think this is normal for her.”

Luna says, with a plain tone, “Rei is usually a strong person. She is named after the Roman Deity of War and fire being her element in which it tells you something about her personality, everyone.”

Jiraiya says, with a nod, “I’m not surprised. Remember, Orochimaru performed horrible experiments before and it isn’t surprising that he does so now.”

Naruto says, angrily, “This is really getting me really pissed off!”

Sasame thinks in her mind, “Arashi, I hope that you are okay.”

Serena tells Rei, with a comforting tone, “Rei-chan, its okay. I’m here. You are going to be safe and bring you to safety.”

Sakura tells Serena, “Then maybe you and Haku should take her back to the village, Lady Serena?”

Rei thinks in her mind, surprised, “Lady Serena?”

Serena says, shaking her head, “I can’t. I know that I’m nowhere near you guys. I’ve got to try and get my friends back.”

Rei asks Serena, shocked, “Serena, you can’t think of going in there?”

Rei groans out in pain and Serena says, with a plain tone, “I have to try! Our friends are in there and I need to get them out!”

Rei says, fearfully, “Meatball Head, you don’t know that madman like I do now! You don’t what he has done… to us… to the others…”

Naruto tells Rei, “Don’t worry, he’ll pay for everyone that he hurt! Believe it!” Rei was going to retort, but then her vision caused her to see Red Dragon Archfiend and Red Nova Dragon behind Naruto in which Odin, Life Stream Dragon, and Crystal Leviathan Dragon are behind Serena in which her Rune Eye is exposed.

Rei thinks in her mind, “What’s going on? I never had visions outside of my dreams or the scared flame back at home!” Rei then sees the Crimson Dragon along with Davis, Ryu, Ayane, and Hinata along with their Signer Dragons in which mysterious new monsters are seen behind Davis, Ayane, and Hinata in which two powerful and mysterious new monsters appears in which one of them is behind Red Dragon Archfiend and Red Nova Dragon and the other is behind Stardust Dragon and Shooting Star Dragon in which for a moment, she sees them around three years older in age through we don’t see what they look like exactly.

Luna asks Rei, seeing her ‘spaced out’ look, “Are you okay, Rei?”

Rei says, holding her head, “I’m fine.”

Haku tells Serena, “It is my duty to protect all of the Signers, but since Naruto-sama have proven time and time again that he can help himself, I believe that it is best that I aid you, Lady Serena.”

Serena says, with a smile, “I understand, Haku. And I’m grateful for your help.” Serena takes out her broach and she says, with a plain tone, “I had better get into uniform then. I’m going to need all of my strength and ability to get through that house of horrors.” Sometime later, we find ourselves inside of a forest of large trees with a structure going into the root with our group assembling outside of the structure using the trunk of the tree as cover.

Sasame says, with a plain tone, “That’s the place.”

Sailor Moon asks, curiously, “Are you sure, Sasame?”

Luna says, with a plain tone, “She is, Sailor Moon. I know this place anywhere.”

Naruto asks, curiously, “How would you know?”

Sailor Mars says, with a plain tone, “Luna was prisoner like me. I remembering seeing her through my memories are hazy after…” Sailor Mars can’t help to give an involuntary shake of her arm due to the trauma creating experience.

Sailor Moon asks, shocked, “You were a prisoner too Luna?”

Jiraiya says, with a plain tone, “Explains why you were so injured. I thought as much since you had such information.”

Luna says, solemnly, “Trust me, I wish I didn’t have it.”

Sakura tells Sasame, “It is time for you to go, Sasame. Be careful on your way back.”

Naruto tells Sasame, “Don’t worry, we’ll get Arashi back like we are going to get Serena’s friends back.”

Sasame tells them, “Right, Naruto. I’m counting on you.”

Naruto says, with a grin, “Don’t worry, Sasame. You’ll be amazed at how daring my rescue plan is!”

Sakura tells Naruto, annoyed, “Enough already, Naruto!”

Jiraiya tells Sakura, “Just like his mother, Sakura. You are going to have to get used to it.”

Sakura gives a nod and she thinks, “So, this is where Sasuke is.” Soon enough, the group sneaks over the entrance and looks down it from the top of a stairway leading down.

Jiraiya says, “This looks like the only entrance.”

Sakura says, with a plain tone, “Good place for an ambush.”

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “We have to go for it then.”

Sailor Mars asks, with a snort, “And get ourselves turned into sushi?”

Jiraiya says, biting his own finger, “Not exactly. First, let us send in a critter that won’t attract any attention at first.”

“Summoning Jutsu!”

Jiraiya then slams his palm into the ground and out of the smoke, Gamakichi appears in front of the group.

Sakura yelps back in shock and Gamakichi says, with a grin, “Yo!”

Sakura says, stunned, “That frog talked!”

Haku says, with a plain tone, “Technically, it is a toad, Sakura.”

Naruto tells Gamakichi, “What’s up? By the way, Sakura, this is Gamakichi.”

Sakura asks, confused, “Gamakichi?”

Luna asks Sakura, “Why do you seem so shocked?”

Sailor Moon says, a bit nervously, “You know how us girls are with toads and frogs, Luna.”

Gamakichi asks Luna, “A talking feline, huh? Are you from the feline clan?”

Luna replies, plainly, “Actually, I’m not from the Elemental Countries. My name is Luna and from ‘beyond the veil’.”

Gamakichi asks, surprised, “Whoa! You mean that there are animals outside of the Elemental Countries that can talk? Cool!”

Jiraiya tells Gamakichi, “You can talk with Luna later, Gamakichi. Do you see that doorway there? We need you to check it out.”

Gamakichi says, with a grin, “No problem! Leave it to me!” Gamakichi gives a ‘cool look’ at Sakura, who freaks out, and he says, heading off, “It’s simple enough.”

When Naruto looks at Sakura, she says, nervously, “Sorry, but frogs and toads give me the creeps.”

Sailor Mars asks, “What girl isn’t freaked by them?”

Sailor Moon says, with a plain tone, “But I think that it is a little cruel to send the little guy into an area that’s potential trap. Frogs and toads have got bad enough back home.”

Jiraiya says, with a grin, “Don’t worry, if Gamakichi or any other summon gets into enough trouble or hurt enough, they are dispelled back home.”

Sailor Moon says, with a plain tone, “That does make me feel better.”

Sailor Mars asks, curiously, “One thing: How come animals around here gain the ability to speak and do things like humanoid people do and not the rest of the world?”

Luna says, with a plain tone, “I believe that this area caused animals around the Elemental Countries to evolve more rapidly and in a different way that animals back at home. All of the chakra in this part of the world must have stimulated not only their ability to grow to massive sizes, but also certain parts of their brains including the areas of speech and intelligence making animals around here gain neural functions that rival the human brain.”

Jiraiya says, with a grin, “That’s the general theory, but not too many people have researched that because we were too busy making contracts and forming alliance with clans of animals including the toad clan of yours truly to aid us in war. The animal clans and summoning jutsu have been a mainstay of the ninja for generations in which you should know that these animal clans don’t form contracts with anyone which is where the tradition of the ‘blood contract’ comes from. Plus, plenty of animal clans test the worthiness of a ninja to become their summoner.”

Naruto tells Jiraiya, with a droll tone, “Makes me wonder how you won the toads over. Boss Toad, Gamakichi’s dad, doesn’t seem to like your pervy attitude.”

Jiraiya says, with a snort, “Thanks a lot, gaki.”

On the meanwhile, Gamakichi stops at the opening and looks inside in which he says, “There doesn’t seem to be anything fishy.”

Jiraiya says, with a plain tone, “At least we know that there is no trap in the doorway.” As Gamakichi enters the structure with the others preparing to follow, some distance away, Sasame looks at them with a look of concern and worry. Deep within the structure, Gamakichi is leading the way down a stairway with the others following him.

Sailor Moon asks, confused, “You know, you would think that they would have make an entrance to a secret base a bit more difficult?”

Naruto says, with a plain tone, “Can’t get overconfident, Serena. With Orochimaru, who knows what horrors that he has down? That snake is twisted as they come.” Soon enough, they are in front of three passageways.

Luna says, with a plain tone, “It looks like we hit a crossroads.” Luna’s paw then hits a switch and the wall to the right reveals another passage.

Sakura says, amazed, “A secret door!”

Sailor Mars says, holding her head, “It seems familiar to me…”

Jiraiya says, with a plain tone, “You might have slight traces of the person that was possessing you. The technique used on you is similar to the Yamanaka mind jutsu, but it seems to be different through we weren’t sure whoever controlled you was lying.”

Sailor Mars says, with a snort, “Don’t remind me. Knowing that someone else was in my head and body and if it was a guy…”

Sailor Moon says, with a plain tone, “She doesn’t like nearly all males. She thinks that ninety-nine percent of males are pigs.” Sailor Moon says, drolly, “And to be honest, I would put you in the top ten of that ninety-nine percent, buster!”

Jiraiya says, with a mock snort, “Excuse me, little girl.”

Naruto says, with a nod, “That’s true, Pervy Sage. She has got down.”

Sakura says, drolly, “I’ll say, Naruto.”

Jiraiya gives a snort and Haku asks, seriously, “How shall we do this?”

Jiraiya says, with a plain tone, “We are going to need to split up into four teams.”

Sailor Moon says, plainly, “I think that Haku, Luna, Pyro, and I will take the secret passage.”

Sakura asks Sailor Moon, “Are you sure, Lady Serena?”

Sailor Mars says, with a snort, “If this sick freak made such a passage, then you would think that he didn’t expect anyone to find it.”

Jiraiya says, with a nod, “Good point and with Orochimaru’s ego, the passage’s main defense was concealment. However, you need to be careful and you will follow Haku’s orders to the letter.”

Naruto says, with a grin, “I say that we go down the middle passage!”

Jiraiya says, with a smile, “With a choice like this, you can’t be too careful.” Jiraiya then takes out an extended pole and slams into the ground which falls down at the right passage. Jiraiya says, “Okay, I’m going down that passage.” There are plenty of anime face-faults and Naruto and Sakura with anime angry faces look at Jiraiya annoyed.

Naruto yells out, “Come on, Pervy Sage! How is that better than my gut instinct?!”

Jiraiya tells them, “If the two of you don’t see anything in thirty minutes, you come back here immediately. For your own safety, the two of you must remain together.” Jiraiya calls out, strongly, “Okay, everyone! We are entering the lair of the snake and you will have to expect anything and everything here!”

Sakura says, with a nod, “I understand, Jiraiya-sama.” Naruto and Sakura head down the middle passage, Jiraiya takes the right, Gamakichi takes left passage, and Haku, the two Sailor Scouts, and our Lunarian feline take the recently revealed hidden passageway.

(Back within the Leaf Village; A good time afterwards)

Returning to the Leaf Village, we find Ninja Ryu, Ninja Ayane, Kasumi, Tsunade, Kakashi, Shizune, and Sarutobi assembled together in a hospital room where Kushina Uzumaki, recently revived from being a Dark Signer, looks at the images of her Turbo Duel as a Dark Signer against Naruto on Sarutobi’s viewing crystal with shock and horror on her face.

Kushina says, weakly, “This is horrible… how could I do that to my own son?”

Shizune tells Kushina, kindly, “That wasn’t you, Kushina-sama. It was the Earthbound Immortal manipulating your emotions.”

Tsunade says, plainly, “Through we know that the village gave the Earthbound Immortals plenty to manipulate you with, Kushina.”

Kushina says, with a plain tone, “The legend of the Crimson Dragon and the Earthbound Immortal has been part of the Uzumaki clan for generations and in fact, we have guarded a secret artifact of the Crimson Dragon itself: The Dragon’s Orb.”

Kasumi says, with a plain tone, “Which helped Lady Serena revive you, Kushina-sama. It is now in the hands of Signer Daisuke Motomiya, the new guardian of the orb, who is very well connected to the dragons himself.”

Kakashi tells Kushina, “Kushina-sama, I know that you are shocked by this fact, but Naruto knows it was the Immortals controlling you and he fought to save you. He didn’t duel you for those that hurt him, he did to ensure that your legacy won’t be tainted in blood and the knowledge that you could be revived.”

Sarutobi says, with a plain tone, “Which I am glad to say happened and it looks like the Ryu-sama is right in the knowledge that you don’t remember anything as your time as a Dark Signer.”

Kushina says, lowering her head, “I’m glad that I don’t, Old Man.”

Tsunade says, with a plain tone, “But we don’t know what the Dark Signers are planning.”

Sarutobi says, with a plain tone, “I believe that they are planning to make a repeat of history. They are going to reply the battle of the five original Signers against the seven Dark Signers of before.”

Shizune asks Sarutobi, “Sir, how would they do that?”

Kakashi says, with a nod, “Based on the knowledge of the Fudo twins, the original Signers had sealed the doorway to the Netherworld over thirteen years ago.”

Sarutobi says, with a plain tone, “However, the new seal is shown that it is as that: A new seal. Due to the chaos causing by their second series of battles with the original welders of the Aesir monsters, the battle between Jack Atlas and the strongest Earthbound Immortal, Red Nova, and Yliaster including ZONE, it is most likely that the seal weakened due it being new and the Earthbound Immortals managed to open a new gateway. I believe that the Elemental Countries are the new set and the area where the new gateway shall be made.”

Ninja Ryu says, with a nod, “I believe that you are correct, Sarutobi-dono.”

Ninja Ayane says, with a plain tone, “And the current Signers are new to their duties and they have far greater duties than the original Signers had those years ago.”

Ninja Ryu says, with a plain tone, “As well as greater powers, Ayane. I believe that we will have a repeat of history in this case where the past, present, and future will collide and Neo Paradox is proof of that along with the warnings of Sailor Charon.”

Sarutobi says, with a sigh, “I believe that Sasuke Uchiha will be a problem. Naruto is just like his dad in the case of seeing the good in people despite many things. He sees that Orochimaru is long far gone which I am ashamed to say that I should have seen that before. But he believes that he can be saved and his path can be changed.”

Ninja Ayane says, with a plain tone, “Uchiha brat like the rest of his clan, Sarutobi-dono.”

Tsunade says, with a plain tone, “I agree, but when Naruto makes up his mind, he rarely if ever breaks it and that promise to Sakura Haruno, he is the kind of guy not to break it. However, I suspect that her loyalty to the Uchiha is cracking. I did hear that she feels that she would make Naruto promise to give up his original promise.”

Kakashi tells Tsunade, “Interesting, Lady Hokage.”

Tsunade says, “However, her mom tried to force her to use Naruto’s original feelings for her to get a ‘hold’ on him much how she tried to woo Minato back in the day.”

Kushina says, with a sigh, “I never knew that she would fall that far. She was a real annoyance, but to use her own daughter? I didn’t know she was that bitter.” Kushina thinks in her mind, with a glare, “Maybe I should teach her a lesson.”

Sarutobi says, with a plain tone, “However, there is another thing that’s reinforcing Naruto’s choice: The newest Signer, Serena Tsukino, who is a ‘monster fighter’ back in the outside world.”

Kasumi says, with a nod, “She is known as Sailor Moon and leads a group of young women that fight super-natural energy draining monsters and yokai back in Japan through the monsters that she battles are nowhere near to the level of the nine Biju. They have proven dangerous, however.”

Ninja Ayane says, with a plain tone, “Lady Serena is a pure heart and spirit much like Naruto in which she is like a female copy of the Namikaze which would give her trouble in our world. However, I fear that Orochimaru’s action on her may be a threat to her purity.”

Tsunade says, with a plain tone, “There is something else about her. She is from the outside world, but she may be like that Davis Motomiya kid.” When everyone looks at her, Tsunade says, pulling out a file, “I did a typical examination on her to get records of her in the village since she is going to be here and I found something… surprising. I found certain genetics that while they are not the same as Kekkai Genkai that are in the village, she does have genetic markings for a bloodline.”

There are plenty of surprised looks and Kakashi asks, stunned, “Are you sure, Lady Hokage?”

Shizune says, with a nod, “We doubled checked them, but even through all bloodlines are different from each other, they do have certain slight similarities in genetics in which we did find them in her DNA. However, we’re not sure what kind of bloodline it is through we believe that it is an Elemental based bloodline through none that we have on record since it comes outside of the village.”

Tsunade says, with a groan, “If Orochimaru doesn’t know now, he may find out sooner or later.”

Kakashi says, with a sigh, “Something tells me that he may find out sooner than all of us may think, Lady Hokage. We’ve managed to help her unlock her chakra, which is large probably due to her ‘special circumstances’, but remember, all Kekkai Genkai are activated through a form of ‘stimulation’ which is usually stress. And this mission may be all the ‘stimulation’ that she needs.”

Back at Orochimaru’s base, Sailor Moon gives a loud sneeze and she takes a tissue from Haku.

Sailor Moon says, with a plain tone, “Thanks, Haku.”

Haku says, with a nod, “No problem, Lady Serena.”

Luna says, with a plain tone, “Serena, I told you to watch yourself.”

Haku tells Luna, “Luna-san, they say that plenty of times when you sneeze, someone is talking about you.”

Sailor Mars replies, plainly, “I’m afraid about who is talking about Meatball Head here.”

Sailor Moon says, with a nod, “You and me both, Pyro.”

Haku tells Sailor Moon and Sailor Mars, “Lady Serena, I will try my best to protect you and your friend, but there might be a chance, we might be separated even for a moment.” Haku then throws Sailor Moon a scroll and Sailor Mars a kunai and Haku says, with a plain tone, “I know of your gentle nature and since that’s the case, I created this for a special defense, but you can only use that in case of a real emergency.”

Sailor Mars says, putting the kunai into her sub-space pocket, “I don’t like using weapons, but unlike Serena, I won’t let that stop me from defending myself and her.” Soon enough, they continue on until they find themselves inside of a lab which is quite similar to a classic mad scientist lab.

Sailor Moon says, nervously, “Great. Classic mad scientist.” As they continue to walk along, Haku keeps her senses tuned to watch for any kind of traps and sneak attacks. But soon enough, they gasp to see a large tube containing a tall female with deep brown hair tied in a ponytail of Sailor Moon’s and Sailor Mars’ age.

Sailor Mars says, shocked, “Lita-chan!” The group runs over to the tube and Sailor Moon pounds on it.

Sailor Moon says, worriedly, “Lita-chan! Wake up! It’s us!”

Haku says, plainly, “She is most likely in some kind of induced sleep and we’ll need to get her out of the tube…” Haku then whips out her senbon and launches them at one area in which two Sound ninja collapse to the ground with senbon in their necks.

Another Sound ninja appears and this one says, in a male voice, “Not bad, Leaf whore. Not anyone can use senbon like that.”

Haku says, with a glare, “You will find that I am full of surprises.” Haku tells Sailor Moon, “Lady Serena, get your friend out of there!” Haku then attacks the Sound ninja and they attack each other with kunai.

Sailor Mars says, seriously, “You heard her, Meatball Head!” Sailor Mars gives the tube a strong kick, but nothing seems to happen.

Sailor Moon asks, stunned, “No way! Why isn’t it breaking?” Just then Sailor Moon yelps as she is entrapped by ninja wire.

Haku says, shocked, “Serena-sama!” However, Haku is pushed back by the Sound ninja in which she uses senbon, but this Sound ninja dodges her attack with ease.

The Sound ninja tells Haku, “Sorry, wench, but the Signer girl belongs to Orochimaru-sama!” Back with Sailor Moon, she is getting dragged by another Sound ninja in which Sailor Mars uses the kunai on him, but the Sound ninja easily dodges, however, it was only a distraction in which Sailor Mars tackles him.

The second Sound ninja yells out, annoyed, “You bitch!” The second Sound ninja slaps Sailor Mars to the ground and he says, taking out a kunai, “Be glad that Orochimaru-sama invested so much and a ‘no touching’ rule, but that doesn’t mean that I can’t give you pain as punishment.

Sailor Moon struggles to get out sees this happening and she yells out, pointing her hand towards him, “No, leave her alone!” Out of seemly nowhere, silver crystal come out of the ground and the Sound ninja struggles and yelps out as he is engulfed and entrapped in the crystals.

Luna asks, stunned, “Sailor Moon, how did you…?”

Sailor Moon replies, shocked, “I… I don’t know…”

The Sound ninja yells out, shocked, “But how…?!” He dodges another attack from the attack from Haku and he says, annoyed, “I don’t know how you did that, but Orochimaru-sama is going to want you more than ever.”

Haku smashes a tube, letting the water spill out, and she says, sternly, “Never. I swore to protect the Signers with my life and I will die before you have them.” Haku then performs some ninja hand signs as she prepares to attack.

“Secret Water Style: A Thousand Needles of Death!”

Haku then uses the water from the tank to create needles that surround the Sound ninja and he gasps in shock as he tries to figure a way out, but Haku quickly unleashes the attack which leaves the Sound ninja a blood mess on the floor.

Afterwards, Haku rushes over as Sailor Moon untangles herself from the wires and she asks, stunned, “Lady Serena, how did you do this?”

Sailor Moon replies, shaking her head, “I don’t… don’t know…”

Haku puts her hand on the crystal and she says, plainly, “Crystal… This is pure crystal.” Haku thinks in her mind, “Jiraiya-sama and Hokage-sama are going to need to know about this. Is it possible that Lady Serena also has a heritage from here? This is when I used my bloodline to defend myself from my dad those years ago.”

Sailor Mars says, getting to her feet, “We’ll worry about this later. We need to get Lita-chan out of there.”

Haku says, with a plain tone, “It may be reinforced with sealing jutsu and chakra to prevent someone from simply breaking it.” Haku then uses her Ice Spikes to break the container open in which Lita’s form spills out onto the floor.

Sailor Moon puts Lita into her arms and she asks, concerned, “Lita-chan, are you okay?”

Lita coughs out and she says, weakly while opening her eyes, “Serena…?” She then falls into unconsciousness while Haku goes over to a nearby table to discover Lita’s transformation wand and two sailor communicators, Lita’s and Mars’.

Haku says, with a plain tone, “I believe that these belong to your friends, Lady Serena.” Sailor Moon takes them and gives them to Sailor Mars while Haku takes a nearby towel that she found in which she wrapped around Lita’s frame. But then they hear a feminine scream echo through the area.

Luna asks, stunned, “What or who was that?”

Sailor Moon says, amazed, “That’s Sasame! I know her voice!” Just then Sailor Moon’s Rune Eye activates in which she sees Naruto, Sakura, holding Sasame in her arms, and Gamakichi in which they see them facing off against some kind of silver/grey haired humanoid ‘creature’ with blank eyes and contains a large ‘hump’ as a back with Jigumo’s and Kamikiri’s faces on them.

Sailor Mars asks, stunned, “Did that old pervert tell her to get out of here?”

Haku asks, curiously, “Could it be another trick?”

Sailor Moon says, seriously, “No, it isn’t! Sasame is here and she is with Naruto, Sakura, and that talking frog right now and they are facing a monster!”

The others look at her in surprise and Luna asks, “How do you know this?”

Sailor Moon says, “I don’t know! It is my new left eye or whatever that I got from my Aesir monster! Just get Lita-chan out of here! I’m going to try to help!”

Sailor Mars says, seriously “Hold on, Meatball Head!” However, Sailor Moon immediately uses her Sailor Teleport to teleport away from them in which Sailor Mars says, drolly, “Just great.”

Haku says, with a sigh, “We can only hope that Naruto-sama and the others can keep her safe.” As Sailor Mars puts Lita into her arms, they prepare to leave in our two females and one female feline hoping that our Moon Princess won’t get herself hurt or worse.

(A brief time later; Joining up with Naruto)

At this moment, we find Naruto, Sakura, who has Sasame in her arms with a look of horror on Sasame’s face, and Gamakichi facing the said ‘monster’ that Sailor Moon saw with her Rune Eye which was revealed to be none other than Sasame’s cousin, Arashi Fuma, who has somehow fused with Jigumo and Kamikiri through some kind of jutsu by Orochimaru in which Naruto prepares to battle him.

Sasame yells out, “Naruto, no! You aren’t going to fight him!”

Naruto says, seriously, “I sure am, Sasame! He isn’t the same sweet cousin that you knew!”

The mutated Arashi yells out, “Jigumo, attack!” The part of Arashi that’s Jigumo attacks Naruto who barely dodges the attack.

Sasame calls out, “Naruto, no!”

As Sasame struggles to get out of Sakura’s grip, Sakura tells Sasame, “Sorry, Sasame.” Sakura then punches Sasame in the gut, knocking her out, and Gamakichi motions for them to go behind some columns.

Gamakichi says, seriously, “This way, girl!” As Sakura drags Sasame off to where Gamakichi is, Naruto leaps away, but the part of the mutated Arashi that’s Jigumo spits out spider thread that wrap Naruto up in a cocoon.

Sakura exclaims, horrified, “Naruto!”

Sakura runs out and Gamakichi yells out, “Don’t do it, girl!” However, before Sakura can get to Naruto, Arashi lands in-between them in which the part of the mutated Arashi that’s Kamikiri comes out, turns into his claw weapon, and cuts the cocoon into pieces!

Sakura gasps in horror and Arashi says, turning his attention to her, “And now…” As Arashi tries to kill Sakura, Naruto then leaps in and takes the attack in his back.

Arashi says, with a grin, “That’s too bad. I got too confident and let down my guard, but too bad for you, Naruto, you let your chance for a sneak attack to go by.”

Sakura says, shocked, “Naruto…”

Arashi yells out, “All to save that worthless dead weight!”

That strikes a cord in Sakura’s heart and Sakura says, “Worthless dead weight? Naruto, I’m so sorry!”

Naruto says, with a foxy grin, “Don’t worry, Sakura! It will take more than this to stop me!” Naruto then throws the claw off his back and turns to face Sakura, but then a powerful attack of light and feathers come in from Arashi’s left and he yells out as the unexpected attack throws him to the ground.

Sakura asks, stunned, “What was that?”

Sailor Moon flies in and she asks, “Are you okay?”

Naruto asks, surprised, “Serena?” Naruto says, with a grin, “Good timing! We’re going to need that crystal of yours! Do you think that you can heal that guy? It’s Sasame’s cousin, Arashi!”

Sailor Moon asks, shocked and looking at Arashi, who growls in pain as his form is smoking from the purifying energy of the Silver Crystal that hit him, “That’s Sasame’s cousin?”

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “Yeah, but one of Orochimaru’s jutsu turned him into that by making him fuse with those two other guys turning him into that monster and making him go nuts!”

Sailor Moon replies, nervously, “I… I don’t know! I was able to use my crystal to get rid of that Curse Mark because it was a corrupting force on a person, but I… I don’t know about this!”

Arashi says, with a sinister grin, “Serena? Oh, yeah, you are the sixth Signer, who friends are in Orochimaru-sama’s hands.”

Sailor Moon asks, getting a bit more seriously, “What do you know about that?”

Naruto says, stepping forward, “Don’t bother, Serena! In his condition, anything that he says is most likely a lie! Let me handle this!” Naruto then creates some Shadow Clones and they charge in for the attack in which he battles Arashi in which he seems to do well, but Arashi manages to throw Naruto into the wall and defeat his Shadow Clones soon after.

Sakura says, shocked, “Naruto!” Sakura quickly runs up to Naruto and she says, concerned, “You’re badly hurt.”

Naruto says, groaning in pain, “Don’t worry, Sakura. It is only a flesh wound. Just give me a minute and I’ll be back on my feet.” Arashi laughs at them and Naruto yells out, annoyed, “Oh, yeah! You aren’t going to be laughing for long!”

Arashi says, with a grin, “You’re right! This farce has gone on long enough! Jigumo! Kamikiri! Give your chakra to me and combine yours with mine!” Soon after, he gives off a powerful chakra aura and he starts to make many multiple hand signs as Sasame starts to wake up.

Sailor Moon asks, perplexed, “What is he doing?”

When Sasame sees Arashi performing those hand signs, she asks, stunned, “But how? How can Arashi know that jutsu?”

Gamakichi asks, nervously, “What do you mean?”

Sasame says, “It is a forbidden jutsu only known to the chiefs of the Fuma clan.”

Gamakichi yells out, shocked, “Forbidden? Why?”

“Fuma Ninja Art: Spell of the Mandala!”

Arashi launches powerful triangle shaped energy at them and Naruto throws Sakura away in which Naruto is entrapped in crapped pyramid shaped energy cage.

Sakura says, shocked, “Naruto!”

Sakura goes over to her, touches the energy, and gets shocked in which Naruto asks, confused, “What is this thing?”

Arashi says, his hands in a pyramid shape as well, “The end, Naruto.” As he pushes his hands closer, the energy pyramid starts to close in and crush Naruto.

Sakura exclaims, stunned, “Naruto!”

Arashi says, with a sinister smile, “As the chakra cage gets smaller and smaller, crushing you until you are the size of pebble. And you can’t break out of the cage not as long as maintain the jutsu and keep up the pressure.” Arashi laughs sinisterly as he continues to try to crush Naruto, but then Sailor Moon slams her staff into Arashi’s chest.

Sailor Moon yells out, strongly, “Oh, yeah! Let’s see you keep it up when you have me to deal with!” Sailor Moon keeps beating him with his staff and she then leaps into the air to prepare next attack causing Arashi to be distracted, but before she can attack, he grabs her by the foot and slams into the ground, hard, slamming her foot into her chest causing her to yelp out in pain as several of her ribs are crushed!

Arashi tells her, in a nasty tone, “Oh, please, little girl! You might be able to fight monsters, but we are a different story! You are nothing against us! Didn’t the death of your family teach you anything?” Sailor Moon gasps and gives a look of shock, but she yelps out in pain as Arashi crushes her with his foot while putting regaining focus on his jutsu crushing Naruto with it again.

Sakura thinks in her mind, horrified, “There is nothing that I can do! Nothing has changed! I’m no use at all!”

Sailor Moon thinks in her mind, struggling to get away, “There has got to be something that I can do! I can’t… I can’t… I can’t and won’t lose anyone else! But what… what can I do?!”

Sasame yells out, “Arashi, you can’t do this!” Just then Sasame leaps up and stabs the left side of Arashi that’s Jigumo causing his eyes and mouth to glow and deform.

Arashi calls out, “Sasame, what have you done?!” Sailor Moon uses this distraction to knock Arashi’s foot off her and roll away.

Sasame says, pleadingly, “Arashi, come back. I know that you are still in there. Come back to me, Arashi.”

However, Arashi grabs Sasame and he yells out, “The Arashi that you knew is dead!” However, when the part of the mutated Arashi that’s Jigumo stops glowing, Arashi gasps and his blank eyes gain black eyes surrounded by his white irises.

Arashi puts Sasame down and Sasame asks, tears flowing down her eyes, “You are there, aren’t you?”

Arashi says, his voice not sounding as evil as before, “Sasame, forgive me. All I wanted to do is to have the Fuma clan to have its place in the sun once again.”

Sasame says, with a nod, “I understand, Arashi. You can come back home, Arashi!”

Arashi shakes his head and he says, “Look at me, Sasame. I’ve become a monster.”

Sasame tells Arashi, “That’s not true, Arashi!”

Arashi says, weakly, “Sasame, end this. I’m begging you. Put me out of my misery before…” However, when the part of him that Kamikiri glows, he says, his voice turning sinister once again, “What am I saying? You tried to kill me and you must pay!” He reveals his eyes have become blank white irises once more.

Sasame yells out, pleadingly, “Arashi, you must stop!” However, Arashi doesn’t listen and tries to kill Sasame with Kamikiri’s claw, but Sakura blocks him with kunai in which Sasame says, shocked, “Sakura!”

Arashi says, with a sinister sly tone, “Sakura, don’t get in my way or you’ll be first!”

Sakura says, sternly, “Death isn’t something to be afraid of! Sasame taught me that!” As Arashi prepares Kamikiri’s claw weapon, Sakura says, “Worse than death is a life that doesn’t help anyone! I’m not afraid to die if it helps something important to me!”

Naruto’s voice booms out, “Hold it!” When everyone looks at Naruto, he says, sternly, “You can’t die here! You cannot die!”

Sailor Moon’s voice booms out, “That’s right!” When everyone looks at Sailor Moon, she has blood coming out of her lips and she has holding the area of her chest where her ribs are broken in which she says, “You need to live on for those that need you! For those that care about you! My parents are gone! I lost my family, but I keep living! When I lost them, I asked why I was the only one spared! And now, I know why! To fight for them! To survive so I can save them and stop this madman before he does to anyone else what he did to me! I survive to honor my family’s memory! I live on to protect all that I hold dear! I survive not for myself, but everyone and everything I hold dear! I will live on and make sure that we have a bright future and monsters like Orochimaru get their justice!”

Arashi exclaims, with a sneer, “Oh, please! Neither of you have the power to stop me! What do you think you can do about it?”

Sailor Moon calls out, “I can live and stop you!” Sailor Moon extends her hand out and crystal to come out of the ground once more causing Arashi to lose his concentration as he is forced to dodge them.

Arashi yells out, stunned, “What is this?”

Sakura says, looking at Sailor Moon shocked, “What? Lady Serena, how?!” With this distraction, Naruto starts to punch the chakra cage back, but Arashi notices.

Arashi says, with a sneer, “Oh no, you don’t!” However, Sasame leaps in and stops Arashi by grabbing his arms in which Naruto roars out destroying the chakra cage causing a huge explosion in which Sakura drags Sailor Moon under another column which is vaporized by the chakra backlash in which it cuts off the piece of Arashi that contains Kamikiri causing Arashi to return to normal in which he uses his body to protect Sasame from the rubble that just impales him in the back.

Sasame says, seeing this, “Arashi!”

Arashi tells Sasame, his voice back to normal, “I’m sorry, Sasame. I didn’t mean to cause you so much suffering.”

Sasame tells Arashi, “No, Arashi. Tell me: Is there anything that I can do?”

Arashi tells Sasame, “You’ve already done enough, Sasame. It is only because of you that I’m myself again.”

When the explosion dies down, Sakura lifts Sailor Moon to her feet and she calls out, concerned, “Naruto?” When they look, Naruto is standing a ‘platform’ in the middle of a good sized crater in which he is unhurt by the explosion.
Naruto tells Sakura, plainly, “Sakura, you promise me that you don’t try anything like that again. Serena is right. No life should be thrown away, not even for someone else’s life. If you really want to help Sasuke and other people that are important to you, then you keep on living for them if not for yourself.” As a large piece of rubble drops down on them, Naruto yells out, “Sakura! Serena! Watch out!” Naruto prepares to shield them, but then a giant toad enters the room and knocks it away. When they look up, they see Jiraiya on top of the toad and Naruto calls out, surprised, “Pervy Sage?”

Jiraiya tells them, with a smile, “Sorry that I’m late, but you aren’t the only one with your hands full.” On the back of the toad is a lovely black haired woman wearing clothing similar to what Kin Tsuchi wore through larger to match her adult feminine frame.

Naruto says, with a droll tone, “That’s not surprising.”

Jiraiya tells them, “Shake a leg! Let’s get above ground.” Sailor Moon weakly flies up to the back of the toad while Sakura helps Naruto onto the toad as well in which Jiraiya notices Arashi with an unconscious Sasame in his arms. Arashi then throws Sasame into Jiraiya’s arms and he manages to catch her.

Sakura asks, concerned, “Is she all right, Jiraiya-sama?”

Jiraiya replies, “She’s just fine, Sakura. She just fainted and that’s all.”

Arashi calls out, “Naruto-sama and Lady Serena, I can finally tell you the truth.” When Sailor Moon and Naruto look at Arashi, he says, “Our mission was to make sure that no one took Sasuke Uchiha back to the Leaf Village and also prepare Lady Serena’s friends to be moved.”

Sakura says, with a smile, “Sasuke is alive then.”

Arashi says, with a nod, “That’s right. Sasuke Uchiha is the vessel that he has chosen, but he needs three years and thus, he has to keep him safe and prepare him.” Arashi tells them, “However, there is a bit of bad news too. Orochimaru has acquired advanced cloning and genetics technology from ‘beyond the veil’ for people that wished to create the ultimate fighter. They used to run a tournament known as the Dead or Alive tournaments until the Mugen Tenshin ninja clan stopped them destroying one of their greatest facilities and home base.”

Naruto says, weakly, “Hayabusa-sensei and his friends from that clan told us about them.”

Jiraiya says, seriously, “That’s not good. Who knows what Orochimaru plans to use with that kind of technology? But then again, we know that it is not good.”

Arashi says, “He has many plans in which in fact, he plans to create an advanced version of his reanimation jutsu where he will only need to clone the body of the one that he wants to revive so there would be no need for a human sacrifice. However, it is not the worst of it. During Namikaze-sama’s battle with Sasuke Uchiha, some of Namikaze-sama’s blood got on Sasuke Uchiha’s clothes and remained ever after the rain washed much of it away.”

Jiraiya asks, stunned, “You mean he plans to clone Naruto?”

Arashi says, with a nod, “That’s right. To create a powerful ‘super-ninja’ as well as even greater vessels if Sasuke Uchiha doesn’t ‘work out’ in which he also plans to create clones of him too, but Orochimaru feels that the original is better than a clone, so, he will keep Sasuke safe as his future vessel.”

Sasame wakes up and she says, weakly, “Arashi…”

Naruto calls out, “Come on, Arashi! We need to get you out of here!” But then the smoke around Arashi reveals him trapped under the managed flesh of the parts of his ‘mutated form’ that were Jigumo and Kamikiri.

Arashi says, “I’m only a puppet like these two and this is where I belong now.”

Sasame says, weakly, “Arashi…” Arashi nods and Jiraiya nods at some kind of unsaid agreement.

Naruto asks, concerned, “Serena, can you…?” However, Sailor Moon collapses from the strain of the battle through mostly from the wounds that she received.

Jiraiya yells out, strongly, “Let’s go!” Despite Sasame’s protests, the large frog leaps out of the underground base and into the outside world in which they watch it collapse.

(The following day; Back in the Leaf Village)

Returning to the Leaf Village, we find Kushina preparing to leave the hospital with Kakashi watching over her.

Kakashi tells Kushina, “It looks like that that the fox’s chakra left in you enhanced your own stamina and vitality in a way to give you enhanced healing through I doubt at the level of your boy, Kushina-sama.”

Kushina tells Kakashi, with a smile, “I’ll take it, Kakashi.”

Just then Shizune bursts into the room and she says, “Kakashi! Kushina-sama! Jiraiya-sama and the others have returned to the village!”

The two look at Shizune and Kushina asks, concerned, “And Naruto?”

Shizune says, a bit nervously, “Naruto and Lady Serena suffered some injuries, but they are all right.”

Kushina leaps at Shizune, causing her to yelp in shock, and she yells out, a bit demandingly, “Where is he? Where is that pervert taking my baby?”

Shizune replies, nervously, “He has just brought him to the hospital and he and Lady Serena have already been set up in a room.” Shizune says, with a look that says ‘Please don’t hurt me’, “Just follow me.” Soon enough, Shizune leads Kushina to where Naruto is staying as Kakashi takes a deep sigh as he slowly follows.

(A short time soon after; Rejoining up with Naruto once again)

Inside of another hospital room, we find ourselves in a double bedroom of the hospital, but with curtains keeping the two beds separate in which we find Naruto sitting inside of one wearing a hospital room with bandages all over his form with Sakura, Hinata, Ayane, and Ryu surrounding him.

Hinata asks Naruto, “Are you okay, Naruto-kun?”

Naruto tells Hinata, with a smile, “I’m okay, Hinata-chan.”

Sakura tells Hinata and Ayane, “I’m real sorry.”

Ayane tells Sakura, with a sigh, “Look, Sakura, I’m sorry that I gave you a hard time before, but I was just… worried about Naruto. He is bro’s and mine… first friend here after we lost… our family.”

Sakura says, with a nod, “Thank you, Ayane.” However, Hinata is giving Ayane a curious look that says ‘I wonder’, but before she can think more on it, Kushina bursts into the room.

Kushina asks, surprised, “Naruto?”

Naruto replies, surprised him, “Mom?” Just then Naruto yelps as Kushina hugs him real tight and the others giving surprised looks.

Kushina tells Naruto, “Naruto, my boy!”

Naruto says, sounding like he is getting choked, “Nice to… meet you too, mom…”

Ryu tells Kushina, “Kushina, I think that Naruto needs some air.”

Kushina says, blushing, “Oops!” When Kushina releases her son from the ‘choking’ hug that she was giving him, Naruto takes a moment to catch his breath.

Ayane says, with a sigh, “Something tells me that we are having a case of ‘like mother, like son’, Ryu.” As Ryu smiles at his sister, Sakura takes the time to leave and go over to the other bed which has Serena, with Luna by the small table near the bed, and her chest around the area of her broken ribs wrapped under a hospital gown.

Sakura asks Serena, “How are you doing Serena?”

Serena says, with a nod, “Better.”

Luna tells Serena, “What am I going to do with you, Serena?”

Serena tells Luna, “I’m sorry that I worried you, Luna, but I had to try to help somehow.”

Sakura tells Serena, “And you did, Serena. You really helped me a lot.” When Serena and Luna at her, she says, “You and Naruto are right. I need to live on to help the people that mean most to me.” Sakura says, with a solemn tone, “But I also learned that I need to get stronger if I’m going to be any use to Naruto and everyone else.”

Serena says, with a nod, “I know how you feel. I was barely any help throughout all this. I’m used to fighting evil monsters and space freaks, but nothing like this. I don’t like to fight and in fact, I try to avoid fighting and hurting others, but I know now if I want to get my friends back. I need to get stronger myself. Like Ryu and Ayane, I need to learn your ways.”

Luna asks Sakura, “Are you sure about Serena?”

Sakura tells Luna, “Based on what we know, Serena does have a Kekkai Genkai. It is a very rare one known as Crystal Release and it should be an Elemental bloodline namely combining two or more of the five main elements, Fire, Wind, Water, Lightning, and Earth, together to create a ‘sub-element’ as you will, but it is so rare that it is not known what elements are used for this type of bloodline.”

Serena asks, curiously, “But how? I don’t even come from here.”

Sakura says, “It is believe that like Davis Motomiya, you have a heritage from the Elemental Countries one that you and maybe not even immediately family knew about. All we do know is that you have a ninja bloodline and it is active.”

Serena asks, curiously, “Do you think that it could help me get my friends back? If I learned how to control this power?”

Sakura says, shrugging her shoulders, “In order to fight someone like Orochimaru, you are going to need much training.”

Serena tells Sakura, “What about my friends?”

Sakura tells them, “Rei and Lita seen to be stable for now, but we are not sure of what Orochimaru did to them fully. We found a strange mark on Lita-san’s back as well. We don’t get the meaning right now, but I’m sure that we will find out.”

Luna then states, solemnly, “And who knows what horrors he is putting the others through?”

There is silence between them for several moments and Serena asks Sakura, “Sakura, I need to ask a favor. Can you talk to Lady Tsunade and get her to train me?”

There are looks of surprised especially from Luna and Sakura asks Serena, in surprise, “You do?”

Serena says, with a nod, “I need to gain control of this power and learn your ways or I may never get my friends back. They’ve risked their lives and saved me in order for me to save the world or something. Well, this time, it is my turn to save them. If I really want to call myself, the most powerful Sailor Scout, I need to prove it and risk my life for them.”

Luna thinks in her mind, “This experience has given Serena a new resolve, but I fear of her losing who she is because of this whole horrible experience. However, then again, she may never be the same with the loss of her family.”

Sakura tells Serena, “Are you sure, Serena? Lady Tsunade won’t be easy if we manage to get her to train us.”

Serena says, with a nod, “I am, Sakura. I need to do this for them.”

Sakura says, with a nod, “I’ll see what I can do. I’m going to ask to be Lady Tsunade’s student myself.” When Luna and Serena look at her, Sakura says, with a nod, “If I’m going to help Naruto and not be a burden, I need to be stronger for him too.” But what they didn’t know is that Kushina was watching them with a smile on her lips as the young teen girls make their resolves to get stronger for the people that they care about…

Next time in Chapter 27:

Mizuki: I’m going to finally break out of here and gain the power that I need for my revenge! And these ‘Idiot Brothers’ are going to be my greatest ace until I get it!

Armstrong: I wouldn’t say that pal!

Mizuki: Who are you?

Armstrong: I’m just a guy that’s also looking for some payback against the kids of someone that made me lose my job and destroy my reputation! And I know someone that will aid us to get what we want.

Jadeite: I’m free! And who are you?

Armstrong: We are your new best friends, pal! You want some payback against the girl that sealed you away like an ornament in a house?

Jadeite: I don’t need your help, human! (smirking) But then again, maybe you can be useful.

Naruto: Mizuki, that rat, is connected to Orochimaru? He’s going to tell me all that he knows! Huh? He escaped from prison?! That’s it! I’m after him!

Ayane: Who is that?

Ryu: That’s Armstrong, the former head of the Facility prison where our dad was trapped in until he won his freedom as well as showed what kind of rat that he is.

Armstrong: So, this little wench and you are the child of Yusei Fudo? It is time for you to pay for what your daddy did to me! And when this duel is done, you are going to be locked away for all time!

Serena: Not you, again, Jadeite!

Jadeite: That’s right, Moon wench! You are not going to be rid of me until you are dead!

Mizuki: What? That little Nine-Tails brat is the son of the Fourth Hokage himself?!

As I said before, since this will taking place during the anime filler arcs, there isn’t going to be too much of Sasuke in these upcoming chapters. However, when you do see him, there is going to be a special surprise that I doubt that you would think would happen. What am I talking about? You are going to have to read and find out everyone! And don’t worry, I’m going to balance out all of the characters as I possible can. They will have more than their ‘one page stands’ in my story.
