Chapter 27: Three Tales of Revenge

Right now, we find in the evening where we find Tsunade and Sarutobi talking with each other about some kind of subject with a few Tsunade Shadow Clones working on the paperwork.

Sarutobi tells Tsunade, “So, the sixth Signer possess that rare bloodline does she?”

Tsunade says, with a nod, “It’s the Crystal Release, Old Man. We are starting to feel that Serena’s family history has some kind of ninja history and we are looking into with cooperation from the representatives of Neo Domino City.”

Sarutobi says, with a nod, “Speaking of whom, their technology is one to be amazed at. Soon, our Duel Academy shall be ready and something tells me that these duelists won’t be learning just for fun.”

Tsunade says, with a plain tone, “Duel Monsters was supposed to be fun, but since it was based on the ancient Shadow Games, everyone feels that heritage is reeling its ugly head.” Tsunade says, with a plain tone, “As you know, Old Man, Sakura and Serena have requested training from me.”

Sarutobi says, with a plain tone, “I’m not surprised for either of them. Sakura wishes to help Naruto in his quest to get Sasuke Uchiha back while our young female Signer wishes to get back her friends from Orochimaru and those mysterious other attackers. She doesn’t like to fight, but to get back people that are precious to her, she will what she must.”

Tsunade says, with a plain tone, “However, I do worry about that situation since Kushina and Sakura’s mom didn’t exactly get along when younger. Sakura’s mom was a bitch when Kushina won Minato’s heart.”

Sarutobi says, with a nod, “True and even through she loved her husband greatly which healed her heart after that, she never really got over it through she should have. I do agree that this might cause tension in the Namikaze household through her mom’s attempts to get Sakura with Naruto which Sakura didn’t agree will most likely ease those tensions.”

Tsunade says, with a sigh, “I hope so since Naruto and Kushina are going to have more and more ‘guests’ over their household.”

(The next day; on the Namikaze Clan Grounds)

This morning, we find Ryu, riding on his dad’s Duel Runner, while Sherry Leblanc, Kalin, Leon, Jaden, Alexis, Davis, Veemon, Izzy, and Tentomon are watching this in which we find Ryu focusing until he achieves Clear Mind.

Ryu says, “Clear Mind!” Ryu says, displaying a blank Synchro Monster card, “Lev’s rev it up, Shooting Star Dragon!” The blank Synchro Monster cards turns into Shooting Star Dragon (3300/2500) Synchro Monster card which appears above Ryu and Yusei Go with a mighty roar.

Alexis says, amazed, “That’s so incredible.”

Izzy says, with a nod, “I agree, Alexis-san. It was so prodigious when I first saw and it is still is.”

Ryu stops his Duel Runner, through in a shaky fashion, Shooting Star Dragon vanishes, and Sherry tells him, “Quite impressive, Ryu. I see that you and your sister had Duel Runner training before.”

Ryu says, with a nod, “Some months before our thirteenth birthday, our dad created a special Duel Runner for training us. When we got our dad’s Duel Runner back after we came here, I managed to modify it to allow it to adjust to someone of my age.”

Davis says, with a smile, “Man, dude! You were lucky to have a legendary duelist as a pop!”

Ryu says, with a sigh, “Yeah, Ayane and I were.”

Davis says, nervously, “Sorry, man.”

Ryu says, with a kind smile, “I know that you didn’t mean anything about it, Davis.”

Kalin tells Jaden, “Jaden-san, it is going to be only a short since the village’s Duel Academy is going open.”

Jaden says, with a grin, “I know and I can’t wait to get started! This is going to be so sweet!”

Alexis smiles at her beloved and Leon asks Alexis, “Mom, what are you going to be teaching?”

Alexis replies, with a grin, “I’m going to teaching Duel Monsters’ history.”

Leon says, with a smirk, “I’m not surprised, mom.”

Davis says, looking at Jaden, “However, what I’m surprised is that Jaden isn’t Chancellor.”

Jaden says, shaking his head, “I think that it would be sweet, but I’ve got a lot to learn. While Ryu’s pops showed me Synchro Monsters when we dueled against Paradox, Lex and I have a lot of catching up to do.”

Alexis says, with a nod, “Synchro Monsters and Turbo Duels are new on us and we are going to need awhile to get everything down.”

Leon tells his younger parents, “Don’t worry, mom. I’ll help you and dad gets Turbo Duels and Duel Runners down.”

Jaden says, with a grin, “Sweet, Leon.” Soon enough, we find two familiar females leaping over the wall and down into the courtyard and they are Kin Tsuchi, wearing her classic outfit minus her Sound headband, and Tayuya, wearing a tight fitting shirt and black shirts with black open-toed ninja sandals.

Davis asks, curiously, “Back so soon?”

Tayuya says, with a serious tone, “No freaking kidding, kid! After they had that girl with the crystal get rid of that fucking hicky from Orochimaru, they assigned us to… to…”

Just then a familiar female voice calls out, slyly, “Come on, girls! You have got to better than that!”

Kin says, nervously, “Oh, great!”

Tentomon says, nervously, “Oh no! It’s her again!”

Ryu says, with a plain tone, “Anko Mitarashi.”

Kalin says, plainly, “Since all of you were used by Orochimaru, it was mostly thought that you would work well together.”

Tayuya yells out, “Work together, my ass! I’ve seen some nut jobs, but she takes the cake! No wonder they put her in torture and interrogation!”

Anko’s voice booms nearby, “No kidding, girl!” Kin and Tayuya yelp as they see Anko on the wall that separates the Namikaze clan grounds from the rest of the Leaf Village in which Anko asks, with a wide grin, “You talking about me, girls?”

Among the group outside of Tayuya and Kin, there are plenty of nervous sweatdrops and Davis thinks in his mind, with a sigh, “Something tell me that this is going to be one of those days.”

(In another part of the Leaf Village; around the same time)

Right now, we find ourselves in a pretty deep river in which we hear a familiar female yelp where we find Neko AKA Yugao Uzuki without her mask on sitting besides Luna in which Serena, wearing just a pink bikini top and throng, coming out of the water with an exhausted look on her features.

Serena yells out, nervously, “Can we take a break? This water is cold!”

Yugao says, shaking her head, “You’ve managed to get the tree climbing down, Lady Serena, but before we start on giving you any jutsu, we need to perfect your chakra control especially if you want to go into the medical corps.”

Luna says, with a nod, “If you want to learn anything, you need to learn the basics and learning to control your own chakra is the first step. It is the bases of many of the abilities used by the shinobi of this world.”

Serena says, climbing out of the river, “I know, Luna. I know.” Serena tells Luna, “Luna, remind me never to complain about your training ever again.”

Luna says, with a smile, “Noted, Serena.” Serena sighs as she prepares to do the same thing again and she manages to walk on the water a little before ungracefully falling into the water with a yelp and a splash once again.

Yugao says, with a plain tone, “It is a good thing that she did take this training in a bikini.”

Luna says, with a nod, “Her clothes would have been soaked to the bone when this was over. Naruto was real kind to give us the money to buy such wares.”

Yugao says, with a smile, “That’s Naruto-sama for you, Luna-san. He has a real kind heart and with his family fortune, a massive checkbook to spare.”

Luna asks Yugao, curiously, “Yugao-san, since Naruto’s mother is alive, will he still be under this Clan Restoration Act?”

Yugao says, with a nod, “Most likely, Luna-san, since he is the last of the Namikaze clan and most likely, from the medical examination of Naruto, his Rinnegan can be passed down. There is also Kushina-sama and she will most likely not remarry. Fourth Hokage-sama is the only man that she loved through he won the hearts of many and it looks like his son is no different.” Yugao asks Luna, “Why so curious Luna?”

Luna says, with a plain tone, “I just wish to know more about your world. It is kind of different of the rest of the world.” However, Luna looks at Serena and she thinks, seriously, “Why do I have this feeling that Serena and this boy have some kind of ‘shared destiny’ even through as Signers, they have the ability to make their own choices. Why do I feel this way?”

(A short time later; At the Leaf Village’s main gate)

In front of the main gate, we find Gaara, Temari, and Kankuro in front of Shikamaru and a group of kids of the Ninja Academy including Konohamaru, Moegi, and Udon.

The Academy students yell out in unison, “Thank you very much and see you again soon!”

Temari says, with a grin, “Okay, kids, keep training.”

Konohamaru says, slyly, “I’m going to learn the Shuriken Jutsu by the way that you get back, Temari-sensei.”

Udon says, with a nod, “Same here.”

Moegi says, with a smile, “Temari-sensei, I’m going to be a strong kunoichi just like you.”

Temari says, with a grin, “I’m honored to hear that.”

Shikamaru tells them, “Thanks, again. We’re kind of short, so, I had to ask to you to teach. I’m sure that you would have liked to go sight seeing.”

Temari tells Shikamaru, “No problem. I helped out because I enjoyed it.”

Kankuro says, with a grin, “Yeah, these kids are the future of your village after all. Plus, we saw something spoken in legend. An actual battle between a Signer and Dark Signer.”

Gaara tells Kankuro, “It is best that we don’t speak too much about it. Remember who was battling in that struggle Kankuro?”

Kankuro replies, nervously, “Whoa, Gaara. I would never do anything like you are implying.”

Temari says, with a grin, “You are worried that you would get clobbered by Namikaze-sama and his mom. She is a legendary kunoichi second only to current Hokage herself after all.”

Moegi says, excitedly, “I hear that Kushina Uzumaki is one of the most beautiful and powerful kunoichi second only to Lady Hokage herself! I wish that I could meet her!”

Konohamaru says, with a grin, “Come on, Moegi! This is the boss’ mom we’re talking about! We just ask the boss and I’m sure that he will let us meet her!”

Udon asks Konohamaru, “Are you sure Konohamaru?”

Konohamaru says, with a grin, “Trust me, Udon!”

Gaara tells Shikamaru, “Tell Namikaze that I am glad that he has regains a part of his family.”

Shikamaru says, with a nod, “I’ll make sure that Naruto knows that.”

Kankuro says, with a grin, “Catch you later!”

As the Sand Siblings walk away, Temari says, “I’ll see you next time that you need saving, you big crybaby.”

Shikamaru tells Temari, “You, girls, are all alike. You just had to get the last word in, didn’t you?”

(A bit later that day; at the hospital in the Leaf Village)

At the front door of the hospital, we find Naruto exiting the hospital after his wounds have healed due to his enhanced healing and he prepares to head out to the Namikaze clan mansion.

Just then a familiar female voice calls out, “Now, where do you think you’re going, Naruto?” Naruto yelps as he sees his mother, wearing similar uniform to Neko/Yugao minus the mask, landing in front of him.

Naruto tells Kushina, “Mom, you know that I heal a lot faster than regular people! I’m just fine!”

Kushina tells Naruto, scoldingly, “Even so, you should be resting at least half a day more!”

Just then a male voice calls out, slyly, “You should listen to your mother, gaki!” Jiraiya then leaps down and he says, with a sly grin, “Anyway, I heard that your newest blond haired female Signer successful took care of that fully developed Curse Mark on that other Sound girl.”

Naruto says, with a nod, “Yep! Serena has enhanced healing through nowhere to level of what I had, but once Shizune used her healing jutsu on her, she seemed to heal up as fast as me!”

Jiraiya says, gaining a serious look on his face, “I see, Naruto.” Jiraiya thinks in his mind, “Does that special crystal react to stuff to techniques that heals and purifies and enhances because purifying is one of its abilities?”

Naruto asks Jiraiya, “By the way, what about my training?”

Jiraiya tells Naruto, with a mock scolding tone, “For shame, Naruto, you want to leave just when you got your mother back?! You don’t want to spend them with your mom?!”

Naruto replies, nervously, “No, that’s not it…!!”

Jiraiya tells Naruto, “Good, Naruto. So, we are going to hold off on our training trip for awhile so you can do just that and lucky for you, I do have an important last mission to undertake before we’ll leave on our training trip.”

Naruto tells Jiraiya, “Yeah, right, Pervy Sage! It is probably ‘research’ for another one of those smutty books of yours! I wouldn’t call that important work, you know?”

Jiraiya thinks in his mind, nervously, “Actually, it is an intelligence gathering mission on the Akatsuki. Ever since learning about this information that their leader has the Rinnegan, I need to learn the truth and see if it is HIM. If I tell Naruto, he might want to come along and worse, Kushina might want to come along too!”

Kushina tells Jiraiya, “You are actually going on an important mission, but you don’t want to take us along, right?” Jiraiya gasps in shock and Naruto gives a look of surprise in which she says, “I’ve always can tell what you think, Pervy Sage.”

Jiraiya yells out, annoyed, “Darn it, Kushina! You are just as bad as your gaki son!”

Naruto asks Kushina, “You call him Pervy Sage too?”

Kushina says, with a smile, “Yep, Naruto! Your dad did too!” Kushina says, with a mischievous smile, “I also made sure that he didn’t attempt to corrupt your dad, Naruto.” Kushina asks Naruto, “By the way, Naruto, did you make sure that he paid for that time that he peeked on me?”

Jiraiya then becomes really nervous and he says, taking out a scroll and a Duel Monsters card, “Anyway, I have got to get going. Here you go, Naruto. Hayabusa-sama wants you to put that card into your deck while you can use this. But before Kushina says anything, it isn’t an attempt to ‘corrupt’ Naruto. Anyway, I’ve got to go!” Soon enough, Jiraiya rushes as fast as he can away from them in which Naruto looks at his mom.

Naruto asks his mom, “He is really afraid of you, isn’t he?”

Kushina tells Naruto, “I told you that Jiraiya nearly lost his life to Tsunade-sensei when he attempted to peek at her in the hot springs and I was trained by her. He has a healthy amount of fear of your godmother and I am no different.”

Naruto looks at the card and he says, seeing The Supremacy Sun (3000/3000) monster card in his hand, “Hold up! This is one of the Legendary Planet cards in our home’s vault!”

Kushina tells Naruto, with a plain tone, “If Hayabusa-san wants you to put that in your deck, I don’t think you should argue, my boy. Anyway, I think that card would go well with your Signer deck too, Naruto. It is made of mainly Dark Attribute and Fiend type monsters, isn’t it?”

Naruto says, with a nod, “You have a point, mom.”

Kushina tells Naruto, with a warm smile, “I’m really glad that you are going to stay awhile. Maybe I can show a few of the techniques that I learned.”

Naruto asks, excitedly, “Really, mom?”

Kushina says, with a grin, “We need to spend some ‘quality time’ together, Naruto. I also want you to introduce me to your new girlfriend. I’m hearing that you are dating Hiashi’s daughter.”

Naruto says, with a blush, “Yeah, I am. She had a crush on me for a long time and everyone realized it, but me.”

Kushina says, with a sigh, “I wished that you had more of your dad’s qualities than you did of mine, Naruto.”

Naruto asks Kushina, “Mom, can you tell me about dad?”

Kushina says, with a warm smile, “Sure, son.” Soon enough, Kushina and Naruto head off together as Kushina tells her story including how she met his dad, Minato Namikaze AKA the Fourth Hokage, and then some.

(Some distance from the Leaf Village; around dusk)

Some distance away from the Leaf Village proper, we find ourselves looking down a large lake of lava with an island that has some kind of prison facility in the center with a draw bridge connecting the island to the ‘mainland’ through a tower outside of the lake of lava. As we look up, we find Armstrong along with a group of people looking down at the prison.

Armstrong whistles and he says, with a grin, “I’ve got to admit that I’m impressed. Wish that I could have that kind of staff back at ‘The Facility’.”

One member of the group tells him, “You know that not even Rex Goodwin would have approved that.”

Armstrong says, with a sneer, “Don’t mention that rotten asshole who threw me away for his precious Signer, Yusei Fudo.”

Another member tells Armstrong, “Easy, Armstrong. You are alive and Goodwin isn’t, my friend. He killed himself to become a Dark Signer for his silly plans to use both the Earthbound Immortals and Crimson Dragon to remake the world in his image.”

Armstrong says, with a smirk, “Good riddance that I say and the only regret that I have is that I’m not the one that took care of Fudo. But that just means that his poor kiddos are going to have to pay for his dad’s crimes against me.”

A third member tells Armstrong, “You should be careful. He married Akiza, a powerful Psychic Duelist, and his daughter has inherited his mom’s powers.”

Armstrong says, with a snort, “I’m not surprised. Psychic Duelists are just like Fudo: Pain in the necks. The only good thing that woman had going on for her was looks.”

The first part of the group with Armstrong tells him, “Anyway, we have orders that we will wait. These ninja are no pushovers. They have abilities that are far ‘evolved’ beyond regular humans and only those ‘troublemakers’ that you mention could have a good chance of standing up to them.”

Armstrong asks, curiously, “Wait for what?”

The third member replies, with a grin, “A jail break, Armstrong. Sooner or later, one of them is going to try to make a break for it and in the confusion, we can use our advanced weapons to our advantage.”

Armstrong says, with a sinister grin, “I see. If scum here is like the scum back at home, they are going to try to make a break for it and when they do, we’ll use it to our advantage.” As the group continues to observe to prepare for any attempted prison break, deep within the yard, there is a familiar silver haired prisoner who is heading into the prison in which during the process of turning in the tools that he used in his work detail, he manages to sneak a screwdriver away.

(Around the same time; Back in the Leaf Village)

At Ichiraku Ramen stand, we find Kushina, Naruto, and Iruka himself in which they are eating separate bowls of ramen as Naruto introduces Iruka to his mom in which Iruka meets Naruto’s famous mom.

Iruka tells Kushina, “It is a real honor to meet you in person, Kushina-sama.”

Kushina says, with a smile, “It is nice to meet you, too, Iruka.”

Naruto says, with a grin, “He is the first person to really befriend me, mom.”

Kushina tells Iruka, “I couldn’t thank you enough, Iruka-san.”

Iruka tells Kushina, “There is no need to thank me. I saw Naruto for what he is and he was like me when after I had lost my parents on that day.” Iruka says, with a sigh, “Personally, it took me awhile, but I saw Naruto for what he really is through I kept wishing that people like my former friend, Mizuki, saw what I saw. Personally, I saw why the Hokages of the past kept you and your ancestor’s ‘secret’ hidden. After I learned about that, I wished that secret would have stayed after Naruto had IT sealed in him. I don’t get why the whole of the village would have been kept in the dark and that cover story about the Fourth Hokage destroying it be given to the whole of the village.”

Kushina says, with a sigh, “I wish that too, Iruka-san.”

Iruka says, with a smile, “Well, Kushina-sama, I believe that’s the past. However, I can believe that Naruto got his personality from you. I researched your time in the Academy and believe me, I can see how you can be his mother.”

Kushina says, with a sigh, “Sometimes I wish that he had more of Minato-kun than me in him.”

Naruto asks Kushina, “So, mom, are you sure that Pervy Sage was serious about going on a real important mission?”

Kushina says, with a nod, “Yeah, if it was the case, he would have made some kind of mock argument about his ‘research’. That look told me that he was on a real mission.”

Iruka says, with a nod, “Most likely, Lady Hokage sent him on a mission of great importance.”

Naruto asks, curiously, “What kind of mission would Granny Tsunade send Pervy Sage on?” As Naruto starts to finish off his ramen, he thinks, shocked, “Wait a minute! What if Granny Tsunade had Pervy Sage get information on that snake or those Akatsuki jerks?!” Naruto then quickly finishes his ramen, takes out his wallet, puts the amount for all three ramen bowls on the table, and he yells out, “Keep the change, old man! I’ve got to go!”

As Naruto rushes out, Kushina yells out, stunned, “Naruto!”

Iruka asks, scratching his head, “What has got him in a hurry?”

Kushina thinks in her mind, “I’ve got a bad feeling on what he is thinking.” Kushina finishes off her ramen bowl and she says, with a bow of her head, “It was nice talking to you, Iruka-san. I hope that we can talk soon.” Soon after, Kushina takes off after Naruto in which Iruka is scratching his head, confused at what’s going on.

(Sometime later; Inside of the Hokage’s Office)

Inside of the Hokage’s office, we find Tsunade sitting down in the Hokage’s chair in front of her desk with Shizune and Sarutobi standing on either side of her.

Asuma says, looking at a file, “I know this story well, dad. An Academy instruction tricked Naruto into stealing the Forbidden Scroll, but Naruto defeated and stop his efforts.”

Kurenai says, “The investigators said that Mizuki was working alone and the case was closed.”

Tsunade says, with a plain tone, “That’s what we thought until we find a piece of evidence in the files.”

Asuma takes out a slightly wrinkled that looks folded and he asks, “This?”

Sarutobi says, plainly, “It is, my boy. I’m surprised that I missed it too. Everyone had thought that it was some kind of doodle that Mizuki made, but its hand writing matches files and papers that I found where Orochimaru was performing experiments on the day that he abandoned the village.”

There are gasps and Kurenai asks, stunned, “Orochimaru was behind Mizuki?”

Tsunade says, with a plain tone, “You would have to admit that it would make sense. The Forbidden Scroll in the hands of a mere Chunin. He doesn’t have the power to handle anything in the scroll. However, someone like Orochimaru can do something with the scroll.”

Sarutobi says, with a plain tone, “That’s why Tsunade is sending you into the prison to find out what Mizuki knows about Orochimaru.”

Tsunade says, with a stern tone, “Head off immediately, you two!”

Asuma and Kurenai say in unison, “Yes, ma’am!” Soon after, the two of them use their speed to seemly teleport out of the room, but outside of the Hokage’s office, we find Naruto listening in.

Naruto thinks in his mind, seriously, “Orochimaru, huh? I knew that Mizuki-teme was rotten, but now, I see how rotten! How low can you go if you deal with Orochimaru? And I’m going to make sure that he spills the beans!”

(That evening; within the prison)

Inside of the prison, we find Mizuki, Armstrong, and Armstrong’s group looking over a group of unconscious ninja wearing typical outfit of Chunin/Jonin and those of the examiners of the Chunin Exams.

Armstrong says, with a grin, “Man! They call themselves a bunch of big bad ninjas! They get defeated by two morons!”

Mizuki tells Armstrong, “I wouldn’t underestimate the Idiot Brothers. They may be stupid, but they have their uses.”

Armstrong says, with a grin, “I agree. Personally, I wish that I had them at The Facility. Give them enough food and those bums would have been easy to put in line.”

Mizuki asks, curiously, “So, what are people from ‘beyond ‘The Veil’ doing here in the Elemental Countries?”

Armstrong replies, with a grin, “I’ve got a new job and since I was a prison wander back home, they thought that I would be up my alley! But the real reason is for revenge and you can understand that, right?”

Mizuki says, with a sneer, “I know that feeling, my friend. There are few people that I would like to payback for putting me in this dump.”

Armstrong says, with a plain tone, “And I want revenge on the person that got me kicked out of my job and put my name through the mud! But he’s dead so his little brats have got to pay!”

Mizuki asks, plainly, “What has that got to do with coming here?” Mizuki then says, seriously, “Unless you aren’t the first ‘outsider’ to come the Elemental Countries!”

Armstrong says, with a grin, “Now, you are catching on pal! Those brats are here and I’m here to make sure that these new Signer brats take the heat for what their pops did to me!”

Mizuki asks, stunned and confused, “Wait a minute! Signers?! You mean the warriors of the Crimson Dragon?”

Armstrong says, with a nod, “That’s right. They’re real and they’re here. Actually, their scum dad and mom were both Signers that fought against Goodwin and the other Dark Signers over thirteen years ago. However, the piece of scum had to get murdered along with his wife with the original Signers. Their two kids are part of group of six new Signers.”

Mizuki asks, confused, “Six? I thought there were only five. Is this some kind of trick?”

Armstrong says, with a grin, “Do I look like I’m joking little man? Someone that big old Crimson Dragon has gotten stronger since the ‘old days’ and create a new ‘Mark of the Dragon’, the Dragon’s Heart, in which the brother to one of the two girly Signers got that Mark of the Dragon becoming the first ‘Sixth Signer’. Anyway, those other Signer brats don’t matter to me. I want the twin brats of Fudo.”

Mizuki thinks in his mind, with an evil smile, “This is interesting information. Most likely, Orochimaru-sama knows about the new Signers. When I get the power that Orochimaru-sama left me, I can get the Signers and give them to him. Then I know he will grant me power beyond my wildest dreams! Just got to make sure this big brutes revenge doesn’t get in the way of my capture!”

Just then Armstrong finds a room that seemly had many seals and such and he says, with a grin, “Here we are!”

Mizuki asks, curiously, “I don’t remember this part of the prison having so many containment scrolls and seals. What is in here?”

Armstrong says, with a smirk, “Not ‘what’, pal. It is ‘who’ is in here that my group is interested in.” As soon as Mizuki enter the room, he is surprised to see Jadeite, still sealed in the silver crystal, in front of him.

Mizuki asks, curiously, “Who is this?”

Armstrong says, with a shrug, “Don’t know, but all I do know is that he has a beef with the new Sixth Signer who is a weird blond haired girl who is supposed to be some kind of super-hero back in Japan. And she is the one that sealed him in this crystal.”

Mizuki thinks in his mind, “A Signer sealed him in that crystal? Is it some kind of Kekkai Genkai?”

Armstrong asks groups with people with scanners, “So, what’s up? Can’t you just crack the crystal and break him out?”

One of them replies, “It isn’t that simple, sir. If we did that, we might kill him too. However, we already know how this crystal seems to work and we will have him out shortly.”

Mizuki says, with a grin, “I see what you are up to. You plan to use this guy and his need for revenge against one of the current Signers to separate the ones that you want from the rest.”

Armstrong says, with a smirk, “One thing that I learned about these Signers, together they are powerful, but separated… they is bugs to be squashed.” Just then he hears a voice from his communicator device inserted into his right eye and he says, with a grin, “Got to take this call.” Armstrong pushes a button and he asks, “What is it?” After a short time, he gains a grin and he says, “Okay, I’ll tell him.”

Mizuki asks, curiously, “What is it?”

Armstrong says, with a smirk, “Two of your ‘ninja buddies’ are on their way here. You could have a bit more fun before you have to go.”

Mizuki says, with a wicked smile, “That’s a perfect idea. I appreciate the help that you gave me.” As Mizuki starts to walk away, he thinks, “Thanks for the information, you big oaf! Now that I know that the power of the Crimson Dragon is here in the Leaf Village, this is my greatest chance to achieve greater power than ever before! Orochimaru-sama will reward me greatly for the Signers and then Iruka and the Nine-Tails brat will finally pay!”

(Later that evening; Just outside of the prison)

Some distance away from the prison, we find Naruto rushing towards it at top ninja speeds with a serious look on his face since he found out about Mizuki being connected to Orochimaru and he is determined to squeeze every bit of information that he knows about the Snake Sannin out of him. However, when he reaches the edge of the prison, he is surprised to see the drawbridge down and no guards around.

He was about to rush in when he hears the familiar sound of motors coming towards him and he asks, looking behind him, “What’s that?” Soon enough, he gets his answer as Trudge, Sherry, Kalin, Ayane, and Ryu ride up in their Duel Runners/Duel Boards with Haku doing her best to keep up with her ninja speed.

Ayane says, with a smile, “Naruto!”

Naruto asks, perplexed, “What are you doing here?”

Trudge tells him, “We should be asking you the same thing, kid.” Trudge then says, “Just then we had gotten something on the Sector Security radio band to come to this place at once with Ryu and Ayane. Personally, I’m not sure that we should have.”

Kalin says, with a plain tone, “If someone can hack into Sector Security’s radio frequency and asked for those two, it must be a trap for them.”

Haku says, looking at the prison, “And it looks like you are right, Kalin-san. The guards are missing and the drawbridge is down. This isn’t right.”

Naruto says, with a plain tone, “I was thinking the same thing, Haku.”

Sherry says, with a plain tone, “It is obvious that this is a trap, mes amis.”

Naruto says, with a plain tone, “Then maybe you should let Haku and I to go in first.”

Ryu says, with a plain tone, “I think that we should go all in. I’ve got a feeling that this involves our family and most likely, an old enemy of our mom, dad, or both.”

Trudge says, with a plain tone, “More the good reason for you two to stay here and let us handle it.”

Ayane says, with a plain tone, “Our dad didn’t run for any fight and neither will we.”

Trudge says, with a sigh, “Stubborn as your mother, I see.” Soon after, Trudge, Sherry, Kalin, Ryu, and Ayane got off their Duel Runners/Duel Boards in which Sherry, Kalin, and Trudge activate some kind of security system to ensure that wouldn’t be stolen in which Ryu attaches some kind of keypad to both his and his sister’s Duel Boards causing the wheels to lock in place.

Kalin asks, curiously, “What is that?”

Ayane replies, with a smile, “Part of a security system that our dad put in our Duel Boards. It locks the wheels in place and only a special code that my bro and I know can unlock them.”

Sherry says, with a grin, “Not bad, mon cher.”

Trudge says, with a smirk, “That Yusei. When it came to machines especially Duel Runners and Duel Boards, he was the ultimate wiz kid.” Soon after, Trudge and Kalin take out their Duel Disks from compartments in their Duel Runners and Sherry detaches hers from her Duel Runner dashboard since her Duel Runner is a hybrid in which her Duel Disk is detachable from her Runner while Ayane and Ryu keep their Duel Disks attached to their left wrists as well in which all of them enter the Leaf Village prison. However, when they enter the prison, they gasp in shock to see Asuma and Kurenai, both beaten up and hanging on the ceiling.

Naruto says, shocked, “Kurenai-sensei! Asuma-sensei!”

Just then a familiar deep male voice calls out, “I don’t think so, brat!” Everyone then looks to see Armstrong and his group appearing all around them.

Trudge asks, surprised, “Armstrong?”

Haku asks, curiously, “You know him?”

Ryu says, with a plain tone, “Our dad used to know him too. During that time, the Satellite and Neo Domino City were separated and it was wrongly against the law for Satellite people to go to New Domino City. When my dad went to the city to get his Stardust Dragon back from Uncle Jack, he was captured by Sector Security and sent to the prison known as The Facility.”

Trudge says, looking at Armstrong, “Armstrong used to be one of Goodwin’s lackeys and I read his record. He was corrupt person and used his own position to his benefit. That is until he pushed Yusei too far by punishing two friends that he made in The Facility for someone that they didn’t commit. Yusei exposed him for the scum that he was and after he won, Goodwin decided to finally give him the boot. I’ll admit that I was hard core officer at the time, but Armstrong took thing to a real low.”

Ayane asks, plainly, “He must be looking for payback, right?”

Armstrong yells out, with a sinister smile, “You must Yusei’s little bratty daughter, right? That’s right! And since I can’t take it on the man himself since he is dead, I’ll take it out on you, two!”

Trudge calls out, strongly, “The two of them had nothing to do with what happened between you and Yusei and by the way, Armstrong, you did all that to yourself! Yusei made a bet and when he won, fair and square, you went back on your word! You were given the boot fair and square then asshole!”

Armstrong says, with a sneer, “That Goodwin just used me as his little pawn to try to reveal the power of his precious little Signer and when Yusei made me look like a joke, he ruined my career! And now, his little brats that he had with that Psychic wench are going to pay for it!”

Ayane yells out, angrily, “What did you just say?”

Armstrong says, with a nasty grin, “I just insulted your mommy, little snot!”

Naruto says, with an annoyed tone, “Watch your mouth about Ayane’s parents, you jerk! They’re heroes while you are just a bitter old asshole that had his butt handed to him!”

Armstrong tells them, pointing up to Kurenai and Asuma, “I would watch my mouth if I were you ninja brat! Take a look at their necks, folks!” When everyone looks at Kurenai’s and Asuma’s necks, they see each of them had a collar around their neck with a ‘jewel’ in the center. Armstrong says, with a grin, “If I decided to, I can give them a shock that not even you ninjas could survive from!”

There are plenty of gasps and Ayane yells out, shocked, “You wouldn’t!”

Armstrong says, with a grin, “Oh, I would! Unless you, Fudo twins, decide to come out and duel me!” Armstrong takes out two more ‘shock collars’ and he says, with a smirk, “And we duel with these in which when we lose life-points, we get a nasty little shock!”

Naruto calls out, stunned, “That’s insane!”

Trudge says, with a snort, “That’s Armstrong for you, kid.” Trudge tells the Fudo twins, “If your dad told you about them, then he would have he didn’t play fair in that duel! He used his camera to spy on Yusei’s cards and until one of Yusei’s newest friends turned on the shock system for his duel disk, Yusei was the only one getting shocked! I’ll bet that there are some hidden cameras here and now!”

Ryu says, stepping up, “We don’t have a choice. Naruto’s fellow ninja have their lives on the line and it is time to finish up some old ‘family business’ once and for all!” Ryu tells Armstrong, “I’ll finish what my dad started, Armstrong, but this time, you’ll be facing the strength of my dad’s deck this time!”

Armstrong says, putting the collar around his neck and someone attaching his duel disk to his left wrist, “That’s fine by me, brat!” Armstrong throws the collar to Ryu and he puts it on in which both he and Armstrong put their decks into their duel disks.

Kalin says, with a plain tone, “He isn’t to be trusted, Ryu.”

Ryu says, with a nod, “Right.”

Ayane thinks in her mind, concerned, “Be careful bro!” As the two of them activate their duel disks, their life-point counters display 4000 life-points for each duelists, and after their duel disks shuffle their decks, they draw five cards from their decks.

“Let’s duel!” Ryu and Armstrong yell out in unison as their duel begins.

By sending one monster card from my hand to the grave, I can play one level one monster from my deck!” Ryu discards his Speed Warrior (900/400) monster card, a card comes out of his deck, and he says, putting it on his duel disk, “And I choose my Tuningware!” Soon after, Tuningware (100/300) appears on the field in attack mode. Ryu says, putting one card on his duel disk, “Next, I play my Junk Synchron in attack mode too!” Just then Junk Synchron (1300/500) appears on the field in attack mode and Ryu says, “And my buddy here can summon one level two or below monster from my grave in defense mode! And I choose my Speed Warrior!” Speed Warrior (900/400) then appears on the field in attack mode. Ryu yells out, “And now, I tune my Junk Synchron, Speed Warrior, and my Tuningware, who has become a level two since it is being used in a Synchro Summon in order to Synchro Summon Junk Berserker in attack mode!” Junk Synchron pulls on the cord attached to his back turning into three stars that turn into three rings that surround Tuningware and Speed Warrior making them becomes transparent before a column of light appears on the field while Ryu takes a Synchro Monster card from his Extra Deck. When he puts the card on his duel disk, Ryu yells out, “Junk Berserker, let’s rev it up!” Out of the light, Junk Berserker (2700/1800) appears on the field in attack mode. Ryu says, drawing a card, “And since Tuningware was used in a Synchro Summon, I get an extra card!”

Armstrong says, with a sneer, “You are going to need it, brat!”

Ryu says, putting two cards into the spell/trap slots, “I end my turn with two cards face-down!”

Armstrong says, drawing a card, “It’s my move, brat!” Armstrong says, putting one card on his duel disk, “Next, I play my Iron Chain Repairman in attack mode!” Soon after, Iron Chain Repairman (1600/1200) appears on the field in attack mode. Armstrong says, putting three cards into the spell/trap slots, “And now, it is time for a triple combo in the form of three spell cards! I play Swords of Revealing, Poison Chain, and Paralyzing Chain!” After a group of light energy swords surrounds Ryu’s field, Armstrong says, with a grin, “Now, you can’t attack me for three turns! And due to the effects of my Poison, you lose a card for every Iron Chain on my field as long as I don’t attack this turn! And when you are sending cards from your deck to your grave, you lose three hundred life-points!”

Kalin says, with a plain tone, “And with that spell card, he can make sure that Ryu lose some life-points since his swords make him unable to attack.”

Naruto says, plainly, “That’s not good.”

Armstrong says, putting one more card into the spell/trap slots, “And now, I end with a card face-down and now, my Poison Chain makes you discard a card!” Ryu discards the top card from his deck and Armstrong says, with a smirk, “And now, my Paralyzing Chain gives you a nasty shock!” Ryu yelps out in pain as Ryu’s life-points drop by three hundred life-points.

Sherry says, with a sneer, “Such dueling. What scum.”

Trudge says, with a sneer, “I can’t believe that we are letting him get away with this!”

Ayane says, with a strong tone, “My bro won’t let him get away with this, Trudge.”

And your swords will do nicely!” Armstrong gasps in shock as a twister appears on the field and the light swords vanish. Ryu says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “By the way, I play Monster Reborn next and I use it to revive that monster that you discarded from my deck: Effect Veiler!” Soon after, Effect Veiler (0/0) appears on the field and Ryu says, with a grin, “And now, my pal will tune with my Junk Berserker in order to Synchro Summon my dad’s ultimate monster!” Effect Veiler turns into a star that turns into a ring that surrounds Junk Berserker making it become transparent. When Ryu takes a Synchro Monster card from his Extra Deck, a column of light appears on the field and he chants out, “Clustering hopes will become a new shining star! Become the path its light shines upon! Synchro Summon!” Ryu puts the Synchro Monster card on his duel disk and he yells out, “Introducing Stardust Dragon, Armstrong! Let’s rev it up, buddy!” Out of the light, Stardust Dragon (2500/2000) appears on the field in attack mode.

Armstrong says, with a snort, “So, this is the infamous Stardust Dragon, huh? Not impressed kid!”

Ryu says, putting one more card into the spell/trap slots, “You will be, but first, I activate my Pot of Avarice spell card! This card allows me to return five monster cards to my deck and then draw two more cards after I reshuffle, Armstrong! So, I return, Junk Synchron, Tuningware, Speed Warrior, Junk Berserker, and Effect Veiler and draw two more cards!” Ryu returns the said cards to his Deck/Extra Deck, his deck is reshuffled, and he draws two more cards in which Ryu says, pushing a button on his duel disk, “Next, I activate my Assault Mode Activate trap card!” Ryu’s other face-down card is revealed to the Assault Mode Activate trap card and Ryu says, with a serious tone, “Now, I can release my Stardust Dragon in order to upgrade him into his Assault Mode!”

Armstrong asks, stunned, “Say what?!” Ryu takes a card from his deck, puts it on his duel disk, and Stardust Dragon transforms into Stardust Dragon/Assault Mode (3000/2500) appears on the field in attack mode.

Ryu says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “And now, I play my Assault Mercenary in attack mode!” Soon after, Assault Mercenary (1800/300) appears on the field in attack mode and Ryu says, as his Assault Mode Activate trap card comes out of his graveyard, “And due to his ability, I can send my Assault Mode trap card back to my deck in order to destroy one spell or trap card on your field! And I choose your Poison Chain spell card!”

Armstrong says, shocked, “You can’t!” However, when Ryu puts the card into his deck and after reshuffle, Assault Mercenary comes in and cuts his Poison Chain continuous spell card in half destroying it.

Ryu yells out, strongly, “Stardust, attack his Iron Chain Repairman with Cosmic Nova!”

As Stardust Dragon/Assault Mode prepares for his assault, Armstrong says, “I activate my Soul Anchor trap card!” Armstrong’s face-down is revealed to be the Soul Anchor continuous trap card.

Ryu calls out, strongly, “And I play my Stardust Dragon’s ability in which I can negate any effect including your Anchor!” Just then Stardust Dragon/Assault Mode turns into sparkles that shatter Armstrong’s trap card in which Ryu says, with a serious tone, “Assault Mercenary, attack his Repairman!” Mercenary comes in his chainsaw and cuts Repairman in two causing Armstrong to get shocked as he loses 200 life-points, but he doesn’t feel a thing.

Naruto asks, perplexed, “What’s going on?”

Armstrong says, with a grin, “As you can see, I’m just fine! I’m getting shocked, but I had special nano-bots injected into me which send the electric shock into the ground!”

Ayane says, shocked, “That’s not fair!”

Trudge says, with a sneer, “Scum like him doesn’t play fair, Ayane!”

Ryu says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “I end my turn with one card face-down and Stardust Dragon, in his Assault Mode, revives, Armstrong!” Stardust Dragon/Assault Mode (3000/2500) returns to the field in attack mode.

Ryu says, with a serious tone, “And I use my Stardust Dragon’s ability once again, Armstrong!” As lightning rains down on the field, Stardust Dragon/Assault Mode turns into sparkles that cause the lightning to vanish.

Armstrong says, with a sly grin, “Exactly what I wanted you to do, punk!” Armstrong says, putting the last card in his hand into the spell/trap slots, “I use my Card of Sanctity and force both of us to draw six cards from our decks!” Armstrong and Ryu draw from their decks until they have six cards in their hands and Armstrong says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “Then I play my Double Summon in order to Normal Summon twice this turn! So, I play Iron Chain Coil and Iron Chain Snake!” He puts two cards on his duel disk and Iron Chain Coil (1100/1600) and Iron Chain Snake (800/1200) appear on the field in attack mode. Armstrong says, with a grin, “But they aren’t going to stay here for too long! I tune my Coil with my Snake to Synchro Summon my Iron Chain Dragon!” Iron Chain Coil turns into three stars that turn into three rings that surround Iron Chain Snake, making it become transparent. When a column of light appears on the field, Armstrong takes a card from his Extra Deck, puts it on his duel disk, and out of the light, Iron Chain Dragon (2500/1300) appears on the field in attack mode.

Trudge says, with a snort, “Just great, folks. That’s his strongest monster.”

Armstrong yells out, “Now, Iron Chain Dragon, attack his Mercenary!” Iron Chain Dragon unleashes a powerful attack on Assault Mercenary, destroying it, and Ryu yelps in pain as he gets shocked even worse than before as he loses 700 life-points. Armstrong says, with a grin, “But it gets even worse since my dragon forces you to discard the top three cards in your deck!” Ryu then discards the top three cards in which Armstrong notices Effect Veiler (0/0) among them causing him to grin. Armstrong then says, with a grin, “And now, with my spell card in effect, you lose another three hundred life-points!” Ryu yelps in pain as he is shocked again as he loses 300 more life-points causing plenty of shock with Naruto and the group with him. Armstrong says, displaying a spell card with Iron Chain Snake taking a card from a duel disk’s graveyard slot, “And now, I play my Iron Chain Graverobber! When my Iron Chain cards send cards from your deck to your graveyard, I can choose one and put it into my hand, but I already chose your Effect Veiler!” Just then a card flies out of the graveyard slot of Ryu’s duel disk in which Armstrong reveals to be Effect Veiler (0/0) monster card.

Sherry says, with a plain tone, “I see. He plans to negate the power of his Stardust Dragon when after it revives.”

Armstrong says, putting two cards into the spell/trap slots, “I end my turn with a couple of face-downs!” Soon after, Stardust Dragon/Assault Mode (3000/2500) returns to the field in attack mode.

Armstrong says, pushing a button on his duel disk, “Which means that I can do this, brat! I activate my Skill Drain trap card!” Armstrong’s face-down card is revealed to be the Skill Drain continuous trap card and Armstrong says, with a smirk, “And now, by lowering my life-points by one grand, all monster abilities are negated!” Armstrong gets shocked as his life-points drop by 1000 points, but due to the nano-bots in his system, the electric current is redirected away from his vital body parts and sent into the ground.

Kalin says, plainly, “Interesting move.’

Ryu yells out, strongly, “Stardust Dragon, attack his dragon with Cosmic Nova!” Stardust Dragon/Assault Mode unleashes a burst of powerful cosmic energy at Iron Chain Dragon.

Armstrong says, with a grin, “I activate my Negate Attack to stop your attack cold!” Armstrong’s other face-down is revealed to be the Negate Attack counter-trap card and it creates a shield to protect Iron Chain Dragon.

Ryu says, putting one card onto his duel disk, “I play my Shield Warrior in defense mode to end my turn!” Soon after, Shield Warrior (800/1600) appears on the field in defense mode.

Armstrong says, drawing a card, “It’s my turn!” Armstrong says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “And I use my Pot of Greed to gain two more cards, punk!” Armstrong says, displaying a spell card with a picture of chains protecting a group of Iron Chain monsters, “And now, I play my Iron Chain Guardian which protects my monsters from all card effects until the end of this turn!”

After Armstrong puts the card into the spell/trap slots, Ayane says, worriedly, “That means that he can use his monster’s abilities!”

Armstrong then says, with a grin, “That’s right, little girl! And I remove all of my Iron Chain monsters in my graveyard in order to give my dragon a boost of two hundred points for every one of them and that means six hundred big ones, punk!” Soon after, Iron Chain Dragon goes from 2500/1300 to 3100/1300 and Armstrong yells out, “Iron Chain Dragon, take out his lizard!” Iron Chain Dragon attacks Stardust Dragon/Assault Mode, destroying it, and Ryu yelps out as he is shocked as he loses 100 life-points.

Ryu says, with a serious tone, “Since your Skill Drain works on monsters on the field, my Assault Mode Stardust Dragon’s other ability works in the graveyard in which the original comes back to the field!” Soon after, the original Stardust Dragon (2500/2000) appears on the field in attack mode.

Armstrong says, with a grin, “Yeah, but you lose three more cards and another amount of life-points with it, brat!” Ryu discards the top three cards of his deck once more and he yelps as he gets shocked again while losing 300 life-points. Armstrong says, putting one more card into the spell/trap slots, “Next, I play my Magic Planter destroying my Skill Drain and allowing me even more cards!” The hologram of the Skill Drain continuous trap card vanishes in which Armstrong draws two more cards in which he says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “And I end my turn with a face-down!”

I draw three cards from my deck and discard two from my hand in which since this is my hand, your spell card won’t work!” Ryu draws three cards, discards two cards, and he says, pushing a button on his duel disk, “And now, I play my Assault Revival spell card!” Ryu’s face-down card is revealed to be the Assault Revival Quick-Play spell card and he says, “Now, I remove my Assault Mode Activate trap card from my graveyard and destroy all monsters on my field in which I play one Assault Mode monster from my grave, but all of its abilities are negated! And before you say anything, Armstrong, I just put back my Assault Mode Activate into my grave!” He removes the said card, Stardust Dragon and Shield Warrior vanish, and Stardust Dragon/Assault Mode (3000/2500) returns to the field in attack mode.

Armstrong asks, with a grin, “And what’s he going do?”

Ryu says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “A lot since I activate my Stardust Shimmer spell card! I can now revive one Synchro Monster in my grave by removing a set of monsters equal to its level! And due to you sending plenty of my cards to the grave, I can do that!” Ryu then removes Quickdraw Synchron (700/1400) and Shield Warrior (800/1600) and he says, “So, I remove Quickdraw Synchron and Shield Warrior to revive Stardust Dragon!” Just then Stardust Dragon (2500/2000) returns to the field in attack mode. Ryu says, putting one more card into the spell/trap slots, “And now, I use my Synchro Gift spell card to transfer Stardust’s power into his Assault Mode’s attack power!” Stardust Dragon goes from 2500/2000 to 0/2000 while his Assault Mode goes from 3000/2500 to 5500/2500!

Armstrong thinks in his mind, slyly, “My trap card will make sure that his dragon is stopped in his tracks!”

Ryu says, putting one more card into the spell/trap slots, “And I finally use my Mystical Space Typhoon to take out your face-down!”

Armstrong says, shocked, “Oh no!” A twister then appears on the field and destroys Armstrong’s face-down in which he yells out, shocked, “Not again! This can’t be happening!”

Ryu yells out, strongly, “It is happening again, Armstrong! It is time that you pay for the people that you have hurt! Stardust Dragon, it is time to use the power of your Assault Mode, and end this duel now with Cosmic Nova!” Stardust Dragon/Assault Mode unleashes a powerful blast of cosmic energy that smashes into Iron Chain Dragon, shattering it into pieces, and Armstrong gets slammed with electric force as he loses 3000 life-points, but the force is so strong that the nano-bots can’t take it in which they short out causing Armstrong to feel the full force of shock causing him to yell out in pain as his life-point meter drops to zero causing him to lose the duel immediately.

With the end of the duel, Armstrong collapses to the ground with a ‘thud’ and Ryu struggles to remain on his feet in which his sister goes over to him.

Ayane asks Ryu, “Are you okay, Ryu?”
Ryu says, breathing heavily, “A bit shocked, but okay.”

Trudge asks, curiously, “What happened to Armstrong?”

Sherry says, with a grin, “I guess that his technology wasn’t as good as he thought and the shock was too much for them causing them to short out in which he got the shock of his life, mon cher.”

Haku’s voice then calls out, “And the prisoners are safe.” Everyone then looks to see Haku by Kurenai and Asuma with the shock collars around their necks, unbound from the ropes, and off the ceiling and on the floor in which Armstrong’s ‘associates’ are shocked by this.

Naruto says, putting his hands into a familiar hand sign, “Nice work, Haku! I’ll take care of the rest!”

“Multi-Shadow Clone Jutsu!”

Soon enough, several hundred Naruto Shadow Clones fill the area with the rest Naruto in which Trudge and Sherry are amazed.

Trudge says, with a sigh, “I am not going to get used to this.”

Sherry says, amazed, “Je ne peux pas le croire! (A/N: This is French for ‘I can’t believe it’, just so you know everyone)”

Naruto and his Shadow Clone asks, with foxy smile, “Anyone want to make anymore trouble?” The rest of the group with Armstrong surrenders without a fight in which Naruto and his clone disarm them while members of the Medical Corps, hiding in the shadows, comes out to tend to the wounded.

One of them goes over to Ryu and he asks, “Ryu-sama, do you need medical attention?”

After pulling off the collar around his neck, Ayane says, with a nod, “He got some nasty electrical shock and he needs to be looked over.” Ayane tells Ryu, sternly, “And don’t argue with me, bro.”

Ryu thinks in his mind, with a smile, “No kidding, sis.”

As Ryu starts to be looked over by the doctor, Sherry asks, curiously, “Why did they fight you here?”

When everyone looks at her, Trudge says, with a plain tone, “He was the former warden of ‘The Facility’. You have got to admit that this kind of setup plays to his life until he was fired by Goodwin.”

Kalin tells Trudge, “That’s a good theory, Trudge, but I don’t think that’s the truth. Take a look around and you might see more.”

Trudge looks around and he says, seriously, “I see, Kalin. The cells are empty. He freed all of this village’s prisoners.” Trudge asks, curiously, “But why?”

Kalin says, with a plain tone, “I don’t think that he is the type to do that even through he is no longer an officer of the law so to speak. He was here for something else as well as to lure Ryu and Ayane to duel.”

Trudge asks, seriously, “And what would that be?”

Sherry replies, seriously, “Something tells me that we are going to find out soon enough, officer.” Within another part of the prisoner, we look into the room where Jadeite was container and we find it completely empty with a lot of shattered silver crystal all over the floor.

(The following morning; Back within the Leaf Village)

Within the Leaf Village, we find our Moon Princess wearing a pink Chinese top similar to Tenten’s top, lovely blue skirt that goes half-way down her upper legs, and a pair of open-toed ninja sandals like Sakura’s is walking down towards the hospital when she stops right in her tracks.

Luna, who is walking with her, asks Serena, “What’s wrong, Serena?”

Serena replies, shaking her head, “Nothing, Luna.” The two of them set off and Serena thinks in her mind, “What is this feeling? My Mark of the Dragon is starting to feel a little strange, but not giving off danger signs, but it feels like I’m getting a feeling of great danger.”

Luna thinks in her mind, “You were always a poor liar, Serena. You sense danger. Could it be that gaining the power of the Crimson Dragon and Rune Eye has given you abilities similar to Rei-chan?”

(Inside of the hospital; Later that same morning)

Within the Leaf Village hospital, we find Tsunade walking up to two hospital beds, each one containing either Kurenai or Asuma.

Tsunade tells them, “I underestimate them. Forgive me, you two.”

Asuma says, sitting up, “Not at all, Lady Hokage. It’s my fault. I let my guard down. I didn’t expect all of the prisoners to break out.”

Kurenai says, with a plain tone, “Not to mention all of the prison guards were captured and held hostage. And this group of people that look that they came from the outside world appeared.” Kurenai asks, curiously, “What happened after we were knocked out?”

Tsunade says, with a sigh, “You were held hostage as well and this group called out to Lady Ayane and her brother. It looks like their leader, Armstrong, was some kind of corrupt prison warden that their father exposed for what he was and got him fired. Since Yusei Fudo was dead, he decided to take it out on his kids. Ryu dueled him in a nasty duel with some similar devices that were used on Lady Serena in her duel with her possessed friend, but Ryu didn’t suffer too great injuries. He is already up and about. Right now, we have this Armstrong and his people in custody where they are getting a Leaf Village welcome by Anko and Ibiki.”

Asuma says, a bit nervously, “I almost feel sorry for them, Lady Hokage.”

Tsunade says, with a serious tone, “But there is a bit more bad news. This Jadeite character that Lady Serena sealed away with her powers has been released and most likely, he is looking for more payback than ever before.”

Kurenai says, with a snarl, “Armstrong’s group must have somehow freed him.”

Tsunade says, with a plain tone, “That’s what members of his group told us after his freeing. Their main mission was to free him and anything else is extra for them. From what we learned, Armstrong hoped that Jadeite would prove a distraction while he got his revenge on the Fudo twins.”

Asuma says, drolly, “This day gets better and better. And most likely, this tied into Mizuki’s plans perfectly and knowing our luck, Mizuki knows about the Signers.”

Tsunade says, with a sigh, “I’m afraid so. We found out that Armstrong opened his big mouth about them and Mizuki knows about them through he only knows that Ryu and Ayane are two of them. He doesn’t know that Naruto is a Signer himself through Jadeite might have filled him in about Lady Serena.” Just then a loud banging is heard and door reveals Naruto fighting against three Medical Corps personal.

Naruto yells out, strongly, “Cut out this nonsense, Granny Tsunade! Orochimaru is behind Mizuki-teme, isn’t he?”

Tsunade thinks in her mind, surprised, “The little brat was eavesdropping! Kushina must be really proud of him!” At that moment, a familiar Uzumaki female let out a loud sneeze.

Naruto says, with a snort, “Fine, forget I said anything, but you need to learn Serena about the danger coming her way!”

Tsunade tells the Medical Corps personal, “Let him go, guys.”

They do so and one of them replies, “Yes, ma’am.” Naruto then races off into the distance and passing by Serena on the way, who is on her way to meet up with her friends, Rei and Lita.

Serena asks, curiously, “Naruto?”

Luna asks, curiously, “Where is he off to?” Outside of the hospital, Naruto prepares to leave until he hears footsteps and looks to see Tsunade walking up to him.

Tsunade asks, curiously, “And where do you think you are going?”

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “Where do you think? To find out what Mizuki-baka knows and then find Orochimaru and make sure that Sasuke and the rest of Serena’s friends that he has are back and safe!”

Tsunade says, annoyed, “Honestly, you are just like your mother!” Tsunade tells Naruto, sternly, “Look, Naruto, I know that Orochimaru is involved in this mess, but this business between him, Sasuke, and Serena’s friends is beyond your level! You might be a Chunin, but it takes a far greater level of skill to be handling this! You have more power than any ninja could ever hope for, but you don’t have the skills needs to put that power to its fullest, Naruto!” Just then Tonton runs towards them and leaps into Tsunade’s arms. Tsunade asks, curiously and worriedly, “What is it, Tonton? Is it Shizune?”

As Tonton gives her ‘oinks’ as a reply, Naruto asks the little pig, “Shizune is in trouble?” When Tonton ‘oinks’ in reply, Naruto says, “I don’t know what you are saying, but from the way that you are sounding, Shizune is in big trouble! Okay, let’s go!”

When Tonton leaps down to the ground, Tsunade says, seriously, “Naruto!”

Naruto tells Tsunade, “I told you, Granny Tsunade. I’m going to find Shizune, help her, and find that rat, Mizuki. After he tells me what he knows, Orochimaru is going down! And by the way, if you aren’t going to help, stay out of ‘Signer business’!” Tsunade gives an expression of great annoyance as Naruto and Tonton race off to find Shizune.

Tsunade says, seriously and annoyed, “That little brat… I never… just like his mother! We need to deal with this fast!”

Just then Kakashi’s voice calls out, “What’s the problem, Lady Hokage?” Tsunade looks to see Kakashi coming towards him with one person in prison clothing under each armpit and puts them down in front of her.

Tsunade asks, surprised, “Kakashi?”

Kakashi tells her, “I had picked up these guys on my way back from my mission. A lot of commotion around here.”

Tsunade says, with a nod, “Yeah, Kakashi.”

Kakashi asks Tsunade, “So, what did Naruto do this time?”

Just then a familiar female voice calls out, “What makes you say that my little Naruto did anything Kakashi?” Kakashi and Tsunade yelp to see Kushina appear in a swirl of leaves with a large group of prison clothed people in a huge net with massive lumps on their heads. Kushina asks, with a mock sweet smile, “You too Kakashi?”

Kakashi replies, nervously, “Yeah. Anyway, Kushina-sama, I wasn’t accusing your son of anything. You see, he is so much like you and you know that means…”

Kushina says, with a sigh, “I know, Kakashi. Sometimes I wish that he had more of Minato-kun than me in him.” Kushina asks, with a serious tone, “So, what is with all of these prisoners doing outside of the prison?”

Tsunade tells Kushina, with a sigh, “It is a long story and with your boy, Kushina, he has an interest with a certain person that he has bad history before and in which he has a connection to a certain snake causing Naruto to become very interesting in getting or in his case, beating, the information out of.”

Kushina tells Tsunade, “Tsunade-sensei, I’ll need to whole story.”

Kakashi thinks in his mind, “I almost feel sorry for the guy that Naruto is after since something tells me that he or she will face Kushina-sama’s wrath, but at least, it isn’t me.”

(Inside of the hospital; a brief time afterwards)

Within the Leaf Village hospital, we find Serena standing in front of her two friends, Rei Hino AKA Sailor Mars and Lita Kino AKA Sailor Jupiter, who are sitting up in hospital beds and wearing hospital gowns.

Luna, who is standing on top of a small table in-between the beds, asks, “How are you girls feeling?”

Lita tells Luna, “Okay, I guess, Luna.”

Rei says, with a plain tone, “How long do we have to stay here? The others need us.”

Luna says, with a plain tone, “Until we can figure out what the snake in human skin did to you and if possible, if it will affect you. We can’t let you go out there and have something make you unable to move due to what that monster did to your bodies.”

Lita says, shuttering, “Don’t remind us, Luna.” Both Rei and Lita were shuttering as experiences that go beyond any horror movie fill their minds in which they manage to shake themselves out of.

Serena tells them, “Don’t worry, girls. That fiend won’t be able to hurt you anymore.”

Just then a familiar male voice calls out, with a sinister sly tone, “Ah, did the little girls get scared?” Everyone gasps and whip their heads to see a see-through image of Jadeite in front of them.

Serena, Rei, and Luna yell out in unison, “Jadeite!”

Luna says, with a serious tone, “No, girls. It is some kind of mental projection of him.”

Jadeite says, with a grin, “Very clever, kitty cat.”

Serena asks, stunned, “But how?”

Jadeite says, with a sneer, “Thought that I was gone for good when you froze me in crystal like that wench, Beryl, did? Wrong, Moon wench! I’m far from done and I’ll make sure that you truly suffer for what you did!” Jadeite says, with a sinister smile, “Maybe I’ll revive your family and kill them again before your eyes!”

Serena says, in completely unlike her angered tone, “You leave them out of this, you piece of Negaverse scum!” Rei, Lita, and Luna were surprised at this reaction from their Moon Princess since it was completely out of her nature.

Jadeite asks, with a wicked smile, “Hit a nerve, did I? I like that look.” Jadeite gives a sinister grin and he says, with an evil smile, “Maybe I can get a bit more out of you. Right now, I’m with someone that one of your friends. That brat known as Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze knows so well through this guy doesn’t know that he is a Signer just like you, princess. Like you did with me, my new associate has a beef with your Signer friend since he ruined his plans for power before he became a Signer. However, he gave me an interesting fact. With the power of the Nine-Tailed fueling me, the Negaverse shall truly be revived! Stop me if you can, Sailor Moon!”

As Jadeite’s image fades away, Serena thinks in her mind, “Oh no! He’s after Naruto!” Before Serena can say or do anything, his ‘mental image’ was gone and Serena turns to leave.

Luna tells Serena, “Where are you going?”

Serena tells Luna, “Where do you think? Jadeite is after Naruto for the power of the Kyuubi. You said yourself that if Jadeite gets that power, he can revive the Negaverse and then some! I’ve got to stop him and I’m not going to lose anyone else especially to that freak!” Serena opens the door and takes off before Luna could call out or even attempt to stop her.

Lita asks, shocked, “Whoa! What’s going on with her?”

Luna says, with a plain tone, “Lita, Serena had witnessed her family murdered by Orochimaru right before her eyes.”

Lita yells out, stunned, “You’re kidding!”

When Luna shakes her head, Rei thinks in her mind, concerned, “Serena…”

(In an area close to the Leaf Village; Sometime soon after)

Right now, we find ourselves in front of a good sized shack with black hair tied in a ponytail, black, and wearing a red dress under a white shirt see three shadows looming over him in which she turns to see Mizuki with two large burly guys with dark tan skin looming over her.

Mizuki tells the young woman, “It has been a long time, Tsubaki.” Afterwards, we find Mizuki and the two tan burly guys, known as the Idiot Brothers, Fujin and Raijin, inside of the house with the young lady, Tsubaki. Mizuki takes off his prison clothes and puts on purple sleeveless vest, black pants, and a pair of sandals.

One of the Idiot Brothers, one with black hair tied in a spiky ponytail, one long eyebrow, and small beard AKA Fujin, the older of the two brothers, asks, “That captain lady put up a fight, huh?”

The other one, with black hair tied in a regular ponytail, two eyebrows, and no beard AKA Raijin, the younger of the two ‘Idiot Brothers’, replies, “No kidding, Fujin! She made us work up an appetite! I’m starving, big brother!” Mizuki looks outside of the window and sees the Leaf Village some distance away.

Mizuki says, with a grin, “The Village Hidden in the Leaves, it has been awhile since I set eyes on it.” When he looks at Tsubaki, she smiles at him as he goes over to a closet where he opens it up. Mizuki asks, curiously, “What is this?” Mizuki takes out an old pouch and he says, with a grin, “I think that it is time to get a new one.”

Tsubaki says, with a solemn tone, “It is.”

Mizuki asks, curiously, “What’s wrong, Tsubaki?”

Tsubaki asks, curiously and concerned, “I saw a group of ANBU in the mountains earlier. Why would they be away from everyone?” Mizuki gasps as Tsubaki looks at him with intense stare and solemn expression on her face.

Mizuki says, with a smile, “I see.”

When Mizuki looks at his prison shirt, Tsubaki asks, “You are not going to tell me anything, are you?” Tsubaki says, with a plain tone, “The Leaf Village looks like it always did, but in fact, while you were gone, a lot of people were killed.” Tsubaki asks, “Are you leaving again?”

Mizuki says, with a nod, “Yes, Tsubaki.”

Tsubaki says, pleadingly, “Please don’t, Mizuki! You know what kind of man he is, Mizuki! So many people lost their lives because of Orochimaru! The Leaf Village is in shambles despite all the help that we gained and the Third nearly lost his life to that madman! If only you didn’t get involved with that madman, maybe we can still be together!”

As Tsubaki sheds her tears, Mizuki tells her, “It will be different this time, Tsubaki. Trust me, the little Nine-Tailed brat isn’t going to muck things up again…”

Tsubaki tells Mizuki, “Don’t say that about him! If they hear that you are still calling the son of the Fourth Hokage that…”

Mizuki’s eyes widen and he yells out, “What did you just say Tsubaki?”

Tsubaki says, with a serious tone, “That’s right, Mizuki. That boy is the son of the Fourth Hokage and the Red Storm, Kushina Uzumaki, herself! His full name is Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze!”

Mizuki gives a gasp and he thinks, as an image of Naruto appears in his mind, “That brat… That little Nine-Tailed brat is the son of the Fourth Hokage himself!” Mizuki asks, with a sneer, “What kind of trick are they trying to pull?”

Tsubaki says, with a serious tone, “It is no trick, Mizuki! He is related to the Fourth Hokage by blood and his secret marriage to Kushina Uzumaki, the Red Storm, has been proven by secret records just released after Namikaze-sama resealed the Nine-Tailed Fox inside of him with help from the Crimson Dragon!”

Mizuki asks, seriously, “The Crimson Dragon? What do you mean?” Soon after, Mizuki then relates the events of the duel between Neo Paradox and Naruto and Mizuki’s eyes widen at every detail that Tsubaki tells him. Mizuki asks, seriously, “You mean that brat is one of the Signers? And he has the Rinnegan, the legendary dojutsu of the mythical Six Path Sage himself?”

Tsubaki says, with a nod and a serious tone, “That’s right, Mizuki. If it wasn’t for his efforts in that duel with his life on the line, the Nine-Tailed Fox would have been unleashed on this village and we would have all died!”

Mizuki thinks in his mind, angrily, “That little snot is a legendary Signer and he has a legendary power under his command?!”

Tsubaki says, with a plain tone, “He even risked his own life to fight his own mother when she returned from the dead as a Dark Signer to destroy this village and its people in revenge for what they did to him!” Mizuki looks at Tsubaki as she relates his duel against Kushina when she was a Dark Signer and how she was revived. Tsubaki tells Mizuki, “If they find out about what you just said about him, they will kill you! The Third Hokage made new laws especially concerning the Signers in which if you attack them, you will be killed on the spot! And the Fifth Hokage, Lady Tsunade, who is leading the village now, critically enforces those laws and his father and mother are friends with the Fire Daimyo himself! You have to let it go or they will destroy you, Mizuki!”

Mizuki says, with an evil sneer, “Destroy me? Not a chance, Tsubaki! Fine! So what if the brat is the son of the Fourth Hokage?! So what if he comes from two so-called ‘noble clans’? That just wants me to pay him back even more! Worthless little brat! Thinks he is so better than me? Ha! I can see the Fourth Hokage’s true intent for what it is! He didn’t do this as a ‘noble act’! He wanted his bastard child to have power! He wanted to make sure that he and his whore of wife’s clan become superior! His dying wish was to make sure that his son got whatever he wanted! The best training, the best jutsu, and everything that he needed to ensure that he will be ‘superior’ to us all! That’s not going to happen! I’m going to enjoy taking down the Fourth Hokage’s worthless fox brat!”

Tsubaki says, horrified, “Mizuki…”

Mizuki grabs Tsubaki’s left hand and arm, violently lifts her to her feet, and he says, with a wicked smile, “When I gain Orochimaru-sama’s power, not even that child of that Uzumaki whore can stop me, Rinnegan or no Rinnegan! And when I do, this village shall have a rude awakening! And once the Fourth Hokage’s fox brat is grilled under my feet and this village is under my heel, we will have the life that we dreamed of!”

As Mizuki gives an evil laugh, Tsubaki says, with tears in her eyes and pleadingly, “Mizuki, stop this! I’m begging you! Where is that kind and gentle man that I used to know? If you really love me, then give up this foolishness!” As Tsubaki cries on him, he releases her arms from her, turns to face her, and after a brief moment, he then ruthlessly knocks her out cold.

Just then a familiar male voice calls out, slyly, “Knocking out your own beloved, Mizuki? I must say that I am impressed.” Mizuki and the Idiot Brothers look to see Jadeite enter the home and he says, with a sinister smile, “As someone that desires power and revenge myself, I can say that you have done well. You have shown the ruthlessness needed to get what you desire and I, respect that.”

Mizuki asks, plainly, “What are you doing here?”

Jadeite asks Mizuki, “Why just kill the brat when you can make him suffer more?”
Mizuki asks, curiously, “What do you mean?”

Jadeite says, with a grin, “If you allow me to drain off the Nine-Tailed Fox’s chakra, his ace in the hole is gone. I’ve heard rumors that his new Signer powers allows me to harness the full power of the fox and I mean, the FULL power with the Nine-Tailed Fox spirit itself nothing more than a powerless hulk. There are rumors that the boy mocks it within its cell in its mind. Anyway, that’s not the point, since that’s the case, he might have enough control over that power to make sure that this ‘meeting’ might end up like your first battle with him.”

Mizuki says, with a sneer, “Like that’s going to happen!”

Jadeite says, with a grin, “I don’t doubt your abilities, but it is good to have an ace in the hole, my friend. Also, if you bring him to this Orochimaru, alive, won’t he reward you with even greater power bringing a living Signer to him to find a way to extract the Crimson Dragon’s power from him? Not to mention giving him access to the Rinnegan and won’t the boy’s suffering be even greater when he uses those powers within him to grind his enemies into the dust. The Namikaze brat is a ‘goody too shoes’ after all.”

Mizuki says, with a wicked smile, “Yeah, you’re right. With him as a living symbol of my victory, they’ll see how pathetic a peon that he is! It will be perfect revenge!” Mizuki asks Jadeite, “But what do you get out of this?”

Jadeite says, with a grin, “One of my own enemies is one of his fellow Signers and I want revenge on her too. And she is such a ‘goody goody’, her ‘precious people’s’ suffering is her ultimate nightmare. So, if he suffers, then she suffers.”

Mizuki says, with a sinister smile, “I think that you and I can work together.” Mizuki thinks in his mind, with a sinister mental grin, “And once you have used up your usefulness fool, I will take care of you personally!”

Jadeite thinks in his mind, with an evil sly tone, “These pathetic humans don’t cease to amaze me! Once you help me, I will destroy you and take my revenge on the Moon brat by using the Silver Crystal, the Nine-Tailed Fox, and the Crimson Dragon’s power to conquer your home along with the rest of the world! I will succeed where that whore, Beryl, has failed! I’ll have revenge on that princess and her whore friends and the world shall bow at the feet of Emperor Jadeite!”

(Just outside of the Leaf Village; Later on)

Some distance away from the Leaf Village, within the thick woods just outside of the village, we find Sailor Moon flying around in the air and looking for any signs of Naruto, but the thick woods impair her search.

Sailor Moon says, concerned, “These woods are too thick. I can’t see a thing here.” Just then Sailor Moon’s Rune Eye activates and she can see clearly in which she sees Naruto with Tonton sniffing a prison coat lying on the ground in which she flies off in that direction.

(Around the same time; Joining up with Naruto)

Right now, we find Naruto and Tonton in the same position as Sailor Moon saw them with her Rune Eye with Tonton sniffing the prison coat lying on the ground.

Naruto asks Tonton, “Tonton, what do you think?” Tonton’s eyes grow wide and he points in a certain direction in which Naruto says, getting out a kunai, “They’re here.” Just then a rustling comes from the bushes and a figure leaps into the air in which Naruto charges in at the figure.

However, the figure yells out, in a familiar male voice, “Hold on, Naruto! It’s me!” The figure, revealed to be Iruka, blocks Naruto’s kunai attack as both of them drop to the ground.

Naruto asks, surprised, “Huh? Iruka-sensei?”

Pakkun appears by Tonton and he says, “Hey, Tonton.” Tonton ‘oinks’ a greeting in reply to Pakkun’s greeting and Pakkun asks, “So, this is what I’ve been smelling huh?” When Tonton nods his head in agreement, Pakkun tells Tonton, “I can take it from here, Tonton. You’ve earned yourself a good rest.” However, some distance away, the group doesn’t know that they are being watched by Mizuki and the Idiot Brothers.

Fujin asks Mizuki, “Hey, Mizuki, shouldn’t we be heading off to Orochimaru’s home now?”

Raijin says, excitedly, “Yeah, to Orochimaru’s place!”

Mizuki wasn’t listening and he thinks in his mind, looking at them, “It’s the Fourth Hokage’s Nine-Tailed Brat.” Mizuki remembers his defeat by Naruto’s hands and he says, with an insane smile, “I can’t believe… the little runt is…” Mizuki thinks in his mind, an evil grin, “So, they made him a Chunin huh? What a joke! I’ll show that bastard child of the Fourth Hokage that he is nothing compared to him and finally have my revenge on him and Iruka once and for all!” As Mizuki looks down at them making his plot for revenge, he doesn’t know that our Moon Princess is flying towards added to the fact that we find also some distance away, we find his mother, Kushina Uzumaki, also looking for her son before he finds Mizuki or in this case, the other way around…

Naruto: Hey, we found Shizune! Wait a minute! What’s that aura? Hold on, Iruka-sensei! That’s not Shizune!

Iruka: Mizuki!

Mizuki: Naruto! Iruka! How nice to see you again! So, the Fourth Hokage’s little fox brat is a Chunin huh? That’s right! I’ve heard about your so-called ‘heritage’, brat! This just gives me a reason to hate you even more than the fox! I see what the true motive of your daddy were brat! That whole ‘noble act’ nonsense was just to give you power to accelerate the power of his family!

Naruto (angrily): How dare you talk about my dad as if he was like Orochimaru or you, asshole? I’m going to make you pay for those words!

Mizuki: I like to see you try, brat! Let’s see what the Fourth Hokage’s bastard child can really do!

Jadeite: I think that you and I would rather see him fall, human.

Iruka: What are these things? Monsters?

Sailor Moon: Hold it right there, Jadeite!

Naruto: Serena?

Jadeite: The final player has just arrived! I aid to restrain the Namikaze and all you need to do is make the little princess suffer before his eyes.

Kushina: I don’t think so!

Idiot Brother: Oh no! Red Storm!

Mizuki (nervously): I can’t believe it! She is alive! The Red Storm: Kushina Uzumaki!

Kushina: That’s right, little rat. So, you were the one that tried to kill my son and use him as your puppet for your little scheme? I usually don’t take pleasure in bashing my enemies, but someone like will be different.

Mizuki (sneering): Oh, yeah, you wench! I’m going to gain a greater power thanks to Orochimaru-sama and there is nothing that you or your bratty son can do about it!

Naruto: We’ll see about that asshole! I’m not going to let you or your mad plans hurt anyone else! I’m taking you down once and for all!

And now, another chapter comes to an end and things are still going crazy for our group of heroes and heroines! And I know that Hinata and Davis haven’t been getting much time lately, but they are going to get their times in the future chapters too!
